Kimberly Brady and Shane Donovan

Wedding Party: Maid of Honor--Kayla Brady; Bridesmaids--Calliope Jones; Candle Girl--Carrie Brady; Flower Girl--Sami Brady; Best Man--??; Groomsmen--Neil Curtis, Roman Brady; Ring Bearer--Eric Brady; Shawn Brady walked his daughter down the aisle
Wedding Attire: The dresses came from England. Calliope wore the dress that would have been for Hope. Andrew, although not in the wedding party, wore a handsome sailor suit.
Pre-Wedding Events: Kim and Shane couldn't get married until after her name was cleared for murdering Emma Donovan. When Shane discovered that Gillian was the murderer, he set a trap for her, by proposing marriage to Gillian. At their wedding, Gillian pulled out a gun, but was restrained and finally arrested for the murder. Shane proposed to Kim at St. Luke's just after Gillian was taken away and they were married that same day.
The Ceremony: a traditional Catholic ceremony without any interruptions. "Ave Maria" was played during the service.
Reception: Neil Curtis' house. The couple danced to their song, "Friends and Lovers" Kayla caught Kim's bouquet and looked at Steve immediately, who was at the house visiting his mother. After the reception, Kim and Shane sat in their limo, drank champagne, made toasts, then left for honeymoon. The limo driver's name was george.
Honeymoon: They rode the Orient Express. Hans, a mysterious man began to follow them on their trip.

Jack Deveraux and Kayla Brady
Date: September 28, 1987

Wedding Party: Kimberly was maid of honor, Diana and Adrienne were bridesmaids. Mike was best man, Roman was an usher
Wedding Attire: The bridesmaids wore purple, Kayla's dress was white and big to cover MBE's pregnancy
Pre-Wedding Events: Steve came to the bride's room to give Kayla a silver rose and almost stopped the wedding
The Ceremony: They played "Believe In Love" over the vows and showed how miserable everyone but Jack was
Reception:
Honeymoon: They didn't take their honeymoon until a few months later. They held off initially because Jack was busy campaigning and his health wasn't 100%. Then, Kayla was poisoned and they had to wait for her to get well.
Status: The two divorced after Jack
raped Kayla.
Justin Kiriakis and Adrienne Johnson
Date: November 16, 1987
Location: a cathedral in Greece (Days' most expensive wedding)
Wedding Party: Bridesmaids--Melissa Anderson, Kimberly Brady, Diana Colville; (Kayla was supposed to be a bridesmaid, but since she was being poisoned by Harper at the time, she was too ill to attend--Adrienne asked Diana to fill in). Noelle was the flower girl. Steve walked his sister down the aisle. The groomsmen were Neil and Shane. The Best man was Victor.
Wedding Attire: The bridesmaids wore turquoise, silk, long gowns. The top part was strapless, along with a lace, long sleeved, sewn-on top over it.
Pre-Wedding Events: Justin proposed in the park, near their special bench. He built a paper boat, as he had once before, but this time, put Adrienne's engagement ring in it and sent it across the water. Just before the wedding, Nafleon became a dangerous place as Justin was almost killed and Adrienne was scared of the mob scene
The Ceremony: Adrienne almost backed out when she thought she was getting in over her head with Justin's family. They recited these vows.
Reception: they danced to "Only In My Heart" - Angelica stole a kiss from the groom and Adrienne threw a glass of water in her face

Anjelica Deveraux and Neil Curtis

Location: Neil Curtis' house
Wedding Party: Jack was a part of the ceremony. There were no bridesmaids. Anjelica walked down the aisle alone.
Wedding Attire: Anjelica wore a big, pink dress, with a vest that was beaded. The dress was big since Anjelica was pregnant with Alexander.
Pre-Wedding Events: The couple wed because Anjelica was pregnant with Alexander. While Anjelica knew the child wasn't Neil's, she wed him and named him as the child's father.
The Ceremony: The wedding was small, with only six rows of chairs set up, three on each side in the Curtis living room. Adrienne, Jo, Kim, Shane, Justin, Victor, Maggie, Jack, Mickey, Tom, and Alice were there. Just friends and family. As Anjelica said "I do," she glared at Victor as Victor wanted her to be Mrs. Victor Kiriakis. Adrienne had flashbacks from her wedding day to Justin, as she watched Justin, who was sitting with his uncle Victor.
Reception: Neil Curtis' house. While Anjelica was dancing with Tom Horton, she got mad as she saw Neil ask Jo to dance, since she was always jealous of her. It was during the reception that they heard a ruckus in the stables. Victor and Anjelica both rushed there, to see Adrienne and Justin underneath the rubble. Justin had the stables rigged to have everything fall on Emilio, but Adrienne got there first, and as he rushed in, everything collapsed on them. This was the beginning of Justin's paralysis, and Victor insisting that Adrienne stay away from Justin.

Paul Stewart and Kimberly Brady

Location: Blondies
Wedding Party: Kayla was maid of honor
Wedding Attire: Kim wore a simple dress that Calliope had made for her. Paul wore a tux.
Pre-Wedding Events: Paul and Kim were "married" as part of Shane and Kim's plan to trap Gillian for murdering Emma and framing Kim. They wanted Gillian to think that Shane and Kim were no longer a couple, so she would spill something about the murder to Shane. In the days before the wedding, Kim and Paul made their "relationship" public, with the engagement being announced at Blondies. It was Kim who proposed to Paul.
The Ceremony: Shane and Kim hired an actor to perform the fake ceremony. He was one of the actors who Alex Marshall had interviewed to perform Tony and Anna's fake ceremony years earlier.
Reception: Blondie's
Honeymoon: Kim went to Shane's house to surprise him, while Paul went home.
Shane
Donovan and Gillian Forrester
Date: May 1, 1987
Location: St. Michael's Catholic Church, Salem
Wedding Party: Roman Brady was the best man, while Kayla was the maid of honor
Wedding Attire: The dress was made by Calliope.
Pre-Wedding Events: Gillian and Shane were engaged as part of Shane and Kim's plan to trap Gillian for murdering Emma and framing Kim. They wanted Gillian to think that Shane and Kim were no longer a couple, so she would spill something about the murder to Shane. Gillian, in love with Shane, was delighted when Shane proposed to her. Kim and Shane planned that the wedding would never occur, but Gillian tried her best to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch.
The Ceremony: The ceremony was stopped when Kim entered and gave her reason why the two shouldn't be married--she had Gillian's full confession on tape. Gillian confessed to Kim as she held her at gunpoint just hours before. Following the confession, Kim drove off in her car, which had a bomb planted in it. Gillian assumed that Kim had died in a fiery car crash. Kim was alive and well and Gillian wasn't going to allow her to stop the wedding, so she pulled a gun on the crowd. Shane and Roman disarmed her and she was taken away to prison.

Colville and Victor Kiriakis

Wedding Party: Best man--Justin; Maid of Honor--Adrienne
Wedding Attire:
Pre-Wedding Events: This was basically a marriage of convenience.
The Ceremony: Roman was the only guest invited to the wedding. He arrived and immediately started drinking champagne. By the time the Justice of the Peace arrived, he was loaded, making a scene and was escorted out. Moments before the wedding, Diana used the whistle (it was really a pan flute but he called it a whistle.) Roman Brady had given her to use whenever she needed him. To her surprise, he appeared and kidnapped her, knowing that she did not really love Victor. After Roman took her, she admitted that she was only marrying Victor to help her mother, Serena.
Steve Johnson and Kayla Brady
Date: February 3, 1988
Location: Mountains
Wedding Party: none
Wedding Attire: regular clothes
Pre-Wedding Events: After a long, heartwrenching separation when Steve broke up with Kayla in order to save his brother's life, Steve and Kayla headed off to the mountains together. Kayla was hiding a painful secret- Steve's brother, "Billy" (Jack) had raped her days ago. Steve was in bliss, completely in love and ready to be with his soulmate forever.
The Ceremony: Steve and Kayla found a spot under the trees in the snow and pledged their love, committing themselves to each other forever. No minister was there, and it wasn't "official", but it was a beautiful display of love. Steve gathered up a bouquet of greens for his soulmate. They recited these vows.
Reception: None
Honeymoon: Later that day, still at the cabin, Steve saw the bruises on Kayla and asked her what happened; she asked him to hold her and she would tell him the next day. When she told him the truth, that Jack had raped her, Steve's heart broke before our eyes. His devotion to her was incredible. He assured her that he would stand by her side, as if there was any doubt.
Status: It was five months later that they were married on the yacht. Unfortunately, that wedding proved to be invalid.

Wedding Party: Maid of Honor--Kimberly Donovan; Bridesmaids--Adrienne Kiriakis, Diana Colville; Flower Girl--Carrie Brady; Best Man--Marcus Hunter; Groomsmen--Roman Brady, Shane Donovan, Frankie Brady; Ring Bearer--Max Brady; Shawn Brady walked his daughter down the aisle
Wedding Attire: The bridesmaids and flower girl had flowers in their hair, white carnations. Carrie was dressed in a white formal gown, holding a basket of flowers. The bridesmaids had a white top part with pink, flowing skirts. Kayla's dress was designed by Calliope and the veil had been Caroline's. Kayla's bouquet had yellow and white roses, along w/ green small leaves.
Pre-Wedding Events: Kayla had been led to believe her wedding would be a modest one. To her amazement, Steve orchestrated the elaborate day she'd always dreamed of. He rented a luxury yacht, procured a gorgeous gown and invited all their loved ones. He left her a toy boat while she was sleeping on her wedding morning. The deck was decorated with white flowers, along with green wrap-around vines. It was a bright and sunny day. Before the wedding, Kayla signs (and Steve, hidden, watches) "Steve, you've given me love and happiness. You've taken a childhood dream and turned it into reality. You've given me the courage to live. I love you." (She then walks off the deck and heads to the bride's room to get ready.) Steve then approaches the deck, looks toward the sky and then says his prayer: "I can't believe this. I can't believe this is going to happen. I guess I got you to thank, huh, Big Dude? She thinks she gave me a lot. Man, I didn't even have dreams. I thought my life was going to be all bad. I had no idea that I could have love and you gave me Kayla; now I have it all, I'm beginning to think I deserve it. Thanks, Dude. I'll be back. I'll be back!!!!"
The Ceremony: Kayla had lost her speech after being attacked by the Riverfront Knifer, but her voice returned while she was saying her vows in sign language - with Steve urging her on through signing the word "courage". Then they recited these vows. Justin also sang the song "Hopeless Romantic," which was accompanied by flashbacks, showing all the rough times Steve and Kayla had to go through to get to this moment. Jack watched the wedding from a distance with his shades on. Tom wrote a poem to Steve and Kayla as Norm De Plume, which he shared. Kayla had invited her sign language group, mostly children, to the wedding, along with their supervisor, and friend, Peggie.
Reception: The reception was on the other end of the boat on the deck. Kayla and Steve danced their first dance as man and wife, then Marcus cut in. Jo danced with Steve. Steve talked to Monty Ramirez and Monty congratulated him on his marriage to Kayla. That was when Roman (John) read the telegram from Bo, Hope, and Shawn-Douglas, congratulating them. Kayla also signed to the students who had come to her wedding and thanked them. Roman (John) caught the garter and Diana caught the bouquet. At the end of the reception, Steve led Kayla to the edge of the boat, where she saw the gondola. He presented her with a yellow rose. Then they were off for their honeymoon, with everyone laughing and throwing confetti (or rice?) at them.
Honeymoon: the Orient, where they met Benjy
Status: It was discovered in 1989 that
Steve was already married (to Marina Toscano), making this marriage
invalid.
Melissa
Anderson and Jack Deveraux
Date: November 4 and 7, 1988
Location: St. Luke's Catholic Church
Wedding Party: Jennifer was the maid of honor, Adrienne was a bridesmaid, best man was Marcus Hunter.
Wedding Attire:
Pre-Wedding Events: Jack was trying to use Melissa to gain votes for his run as congressman.
The Ceremony: When asked if she would honor, love, and cherish Jack for the rest of her life, Melissa replied "no." In front of everyone, she denounced Jack for having used her to advance his political career knowing that she was blindly in love with him. After throwing her bouquet in his face, she left the Church amidst victorious applauses from her parents.
Reception: Melissa went to Blondies, where the reception had been scheduled. She celebrated her freedom with her family and friends. Jack didn't show.
Honeymoon: Melissa took off on the

Roman Brady and Diana Colville

The Ceremony: Cal Winters entered the room before Roman and Diana were proclaimed husband and wife, declaring that he and Diana were already married. Since Diana had kept her past relationship with Cal a secret, Roman assumed he was telling the truth and called off the wedding.
Anjelica
Deveraux and Victor Kiriakis

Wedding Attire: Anjelica wore a white sequined dress with large white feathers in her hair; Victor wore a tuxedo
Pre-Wedding Events: Justin and Adrienne Kiriakis had moved out of Victor's house to keep Alexander away from Victor. He proposed to Anjelica so he could raise Alexander. Anjelica accepted, knowing that Justin would do anything to keep his son out of Victor's reach. She expected Justin to stop her from marrying Victor and never planned on actually going through with the ceremony.
The Ceremony: The wedding was prepared in one day and held in Victor's living room. Anjelica stalled and squirmed when asked the big question. At the last minute, just as Anjelica planned, Justin and Adrienne rushed into the room and stopped the ceremony. Justin stopped the wedding to keep Victor from raising his son Alexander. As soon as Justin told Anjelica that he'd allow her to move into the penthouse with him and Adrienne, Anjelica called off the wedding. Anjelica immediately packed her bags and left Victor.
After the Ceremony: She moved in with Adrienne & Justin and all kinds of problems arose.
