First of all, no pun intended, don't give up

Pecause Peter and Kristian aren't
Kristian:
But please remember that Hope is not responsible
for what Gina does
Kristian:
I would say a combination of all three
Peter:
At the top of that list would be Tom
Kristian:
If I disappeared and I wasn't with Bo, how could Bo
and Hope have a mystery child out there?
Kristian:
The satellite certainly couldn't have produced a
child. Please don't make it any more complicated
than it already is for my self the actor!
Kristian:
I'm very excited because it opens a lot of
avenues
Kristian:
Today Peter and I had a scene in which Bo took
control of Gina and Gina feels she's in the
driver's seat most of the time, and I think by Bo
taking control -- I think the scene airs in 3
weeks
Kristian:
It took Gina back and she was quite shocked by it.
It was unexpected. I tried to add those nuances
because I know I don't want to lose Hope in that
character, either
Kristian:
Was that clear? If it wasn't, I'm sorry.
Peter:
Different, not different at all
Peter:
I don't love somebody named Hope, I'm not a
policeman, I'm an actor
Peter:
There's quite a few.
Peter:
The longer you play a character, the more you
become alike
Peter:
But it is still a job, and we are quite
differnet
Peter:
It was a request from the producers.
Kristian:
It was? I'm learning something today also!
Kristian:
I'm trying to keep up with your hairstyles
Peter:
I feel exactly the same way and I have felt that
since I've been back to the show
Peter:
And I've tired to get some of the fire back into
the character of Bo Brady, and not been very
successful. The writers have a different idea of
who I am and so...
Peter:
It would be nice to have a character with fire and
a temper becaue none of the men in Salem are that
way
Peter:
And I used to have it so it makes sense that Bo
would be the one
Kristian:
Well, first of all it's actually a completely
different situation -- I'm not playing two
completely different people
Kristian:
She played the sisters, but I think it was Susan
who was the main. It wasn't one trapped within
another. So I really don't see the comparison with
the storylines.
Kristian:
Of courses we're always concerned in how the
audience will, if the audience will be
accepting
Kristian:
For a while I think they tried to pull Bo and Hope
away from each other
Kristian:
But Peter and I have such a great working chemistry
that we gravitate back towards each tother and they
start writing for us again
Kristian:
I think this is another avenue to be explored, as
Bo will be exploring another avenue with Greta
Peter:
I will?
Kristian:
Oh, come on now!

I doubt it but they can hear my wife's new cd

When we do open the door and see in the script the
one- upmanship, which I know I so enjoy between the
two, the great love is always there

The ocmpetition is what makes it exciting

As a matter of fact this weekend I'm going to New
Orleans, where our first great love story
happened
Kristian:

As a villainess? Why the villainess?

Because they liked her on Melrose

I was the call girl... poor girl had a lot of
issues

If he doesn't watch it with Gina, absolutely

Because as Gina has stated, now that she's back he
needs her more than she needs him
Peter:
And Stefano's never in that position
Kristian:
She basically threatens him, says, look at the
situation. He keeps threatening if she doesn't
behave I'll turn you back to Hope, and she asks if
he really wants her to go back, because he'd no
longer have an ally
Kristian:
As long as she's Gina they can both accomplish what
they want
Kristian:
I just do what they tell me to do
Kristian:
I have no idea
Kristian:
We don't know what happens with the stories
Peter:
I bet it will be more going to Europe than the
jungle
Peter:

That's kind of funny. There's no way that's going
to happen with the Bo-Marlena relationship

Hope is Gina, Hope's trapped, then you have Gina
playing Hope, and then you have the real Princess

You know, at first I thought this would be so
great, let's not just have her change character but
also her physicality

When she's Gina playing La Femme Nikita, let's have
her be this way with different looks... I want to
put a pair of sweats on and call it a day

It's because we work at such a fast pace. I could
go through five complete changes depending on the
day's schedule. If you don't experience what those
changes are it's difficult to appreciate
Kristian:

First, Hope has never kissed Stefano.

The second time I came back I was there 12, 13
weeks... I was back aboyt a year before Peter

First thing I ever did was a movie of the week

we're working during that time

There are certain scenes that I want to see how it

You're talking completely diferent roles,
schedules, pages and amount of work you have to put
out every day

I did Knotts Landing

Oh, films, great, please give me a role. I'd love
it and yes, I did do a movie, we filmed most of it
in Russia... it took six years till I was ever to
see it and it was pretty bad... "Broken Bridges".
You won't find it in the video store.
Peter:
No, absolutely not!
Kristian:
He's glad she's moved on.
Kristian:

We average about 3 or 4 days a week
Kristian:
it's a completely unpredictable schedule
Peter:
We tape a show a day, so if they see us in a show
that day, they know we worked. If they didn't see
us in a show then they know we didn't work
Peter:
No but he's growing up fast
Kristian:
He's taller than me now!
Kristian:
He's such a great kid

I'm still trying to find my ground with Gina

I've always had a great time working with Dristian
and that's the way soaps work. Crystal and I had a

I think we're both lucky to be on the best daytime

Very perceptive! Am I upset about it? I'm confused
by it but I'm not upset by it. We laugh about it a
lot. I'll ask her on set if she finished her seat
work at school

It'll be intersting how they explain Gina and Greta
looking the same age...
Peter:
Well I think we explained it today, because you
still felt this love for somebody, it wasn't John,
it was really Bo. You aren't her mother but you
felt love for her
Kristian:
The thing I'm confused about is when Hope
disappeared for four years, John was back in Salem,
but he was Gina's partner in crime
Peter:
No, John wasn't...he was just a father to the
kid
Kristian:
I have to say I've been extremely lucky and I'm
extremely thankful
Peter:
Yeah, ditto to that
Kristian:
I'm very flattered to be nominated for the Digest
award

I would have to say the New Orleans storyline was a
lot of fun. The prison storyline was also a lot of
fun.
Peter:
All those storyline where we worked together
Kristian:
I can only speak for myself but Peter probably
agrees... wehn we're in the thick of it is when we
can be the most creative, when we're on the run,
because you're talking two different
personalities
Kristian:
Write in and keep writing!!
Peter:

Peter:

I love working with the whole cast
Peter:
W think we're very fortunate in having an awesome
cast because there really aren't any weak links
Kristian:
We really have a cast and crew that love to enjoy
themselves and have fun and realize we're not doing
brain surgery here, and don't take themselves so
seriously
Peter:

I don't know -- watching Kristian, it looks like
long work, you got long hours when you're doing a
show a day to do all these different changes
Peter:
It would be fun as an artist as an actor, to have
an evil twin, but I don't know
Kristian:
The only thing with doing dual roles on a daytime
show is time works against you
Kristian:
You don't really have time to investigate the
characters and be as creative as you'd like because
your time is so limited
Peter:
I will never forget that day... I was working with
Wayne Northrup and I had so much fun
Peter:
I'll always remember that experience
Peter:
And he was really good with me, putting up with a
young actor with an attitude
Kristian:
I can't honestly remember my first day. I just know
I was a complete wreck
Kristian:
It's probably because I was so inexperienced, as
green as they come
Peter:
Was that the motorcycle day?
Kristian:
I think I started... your first day was the
motorcycle day, yes
Peter:
No, mine was in the police station with Wayne
Kristian:
But in that same day didn't you go to
Shenanigan's?
Kristian:
It was a fun story. I was very pregnant.
Kristian:
I was EXTREMEMly pregnant
Peter:
We had to do... there was a lot of funky camera
angles to cover up the pregnancy
Peter:
A lot of funny stories
Peter:

Kristian:
Bo, I don't.
Peter:
I think the first... It took a long time for Bo and
Hope to get together, and when they finally did get
together, the episodes were a lot of fun.
Peter:
There was a lot of anticipation not only with the
audience but with us
Peter:
Favorite thing is that I get to do what I love
most, which is to create illusion, and a character
like Bo Brady on a soap opera and do it daily
Kristian:
For myself, I don't think of myself as being
famous... I'm just a simple girl with dreams
Kristian:
I live a very normal lifestyle. Extremely normal.
Yet I agree with Peter, I'm very thankful that I'm
able to do something I'm very passionate about and
that I so enoy doing
Kristian:
And to get paid -- what a bonus!
Kristian:
Absolutely

Yeah, we miss
Peter:
Back when relatives couldn't have good feelings
'cause Susan never liked me and Bill and I got
along great
Peter:
Being happy and loving what we do
Kristian:

Peter:
No, you're not too picky, and the writers need to
know how you feel because they forget how diligent
you are
Peter:
I don't see an end in sight any time soon
Peter:
What do you think that is?
Kristian:
Oh, gosh, thank you so much!

That's a fun character
Peter:
She has no limits, has a great sense of humor and
still can do the dramatic stuff
Kristian:

I highly doubt that
Peter:
Well, the show that you see, we have to memorize
that show everyday so as many lines as you see us
say, that's as many lines as we have to
memorize
Kristian:
But there are times -- remember when we were in New
Orleans? We did over 100 pages a day
Kristian:
And when I went to do the movie, we did 14 shows in
one week!
Peter:
When we tape the show we don't have cue cards
Kristian:
Absolutely not. I think it's very distracting to
the other actors, and the actor who is working I
don't feel can truly commit to the scene and to the
other actor
Peter:
I like getting to pretend, basically getting to
play cowboys and Indians or Superman, and they pay
you for it
Peter:
You're a big kid pretending
Kristian:
Absolutely not, my family comes first. Always has,
always will.
Kristian:
For myself, it's alwyas driven by story
Kristian:
What story is presented. I think at one time they
had commented that they'd like me to come back as a
dfiferent character, which I didn't perceive as
being successful because the audience knew me as
Hope
Kristian:
My decision is always driven by story
Peter:
That's a question that you'd have to ask the
writers
Peter:
Change careers? Why'd I wanna do that?
Kristian:
Gosh, thank you very much! I don't know.
Peter:
I think you deserve a six picture deal
Kristian:

Absoulutely!

I would love to do film.
Peter:
As a matter of fact I do and it's still running
great

I have to fight my wife for the keys

It has to be real for myself. I can't fake tears
and I won't have fake tears helping me along.
Kristian:
It has to be honest

It's difficult. We're working during that time
Peter:
Difficult to watch our show much less somebody
else's
Peter:
Just for touch, the kidnapping of sean douglas
could have been a story that was really interesting
for the two fof us and had a lot of power
Peter:
It didn't reach that because it was done for
another purpose, but that would've been fun
Kristian:
I miss her too!
Kristian:
I don't know
Peter:
At first it was, but Josh and I have always had a
brotherly relationship. It was just difficult to
call him Roman
Peter:
I think Drake is... he's kind of wild
Peter:
And some of our camera man are kooky too
Peter:
Christmas and New Years we're dark
Kristian:
I think the saddst episode for me playing Hope
would be when Bo had to chose between Billie and
Hope right after Hope discovered who she was and
all her memories of being Hope and her life with
Bo, and the child that they shared -- that he chose
not to accept her back into his life
Peter:
That whole week fo shows was pretty dramatic
Peter:
When you have to make difficult choices
Peter:
I love the one where Holly ended up at the altar in
Hope's place with the cigar
Kristian:
Oh, that's right!
Peter:
When I took her away on the motorcycle
Kristian:
I think so, but on a different level
Kristian:
No, I don't think so
Kristian:
It's a little nerve-wracking when you first start
working with another actor and you have a love
scene.
Peter:
Seems to me the audience would love to see that
again, but the way our show works now, it's not
part of the chemistry
Kristian:
For myself, go immediately to see my son
Kristian:
He's 8 years old now
Peter:
I'm the same way. I go see my son, his name is
Eddie. He's a boxer who's only a year old
Kristian:
