OnlineHost: When an actor makes a comeback on a daytime drama, the
character usually has been resurrected from the dead, kidnaped and held
hostage, or is returning as an evil twin. For Christie Clark, none of the
above is true. In fact, she returned as 'Carrie Brady' in November, 1992
on NBC-TV's "Days Of Our Lives," as the same character she played for six
years, prior to departing in December, 1990. Not only is she back, but
the matured and even more beautiful Clark has given the innocent 'Carrie'
a glamorous new flair.

ChrstieClk: As best as I can!

Question: Which actor/actress on Days is most or least like the character
they play?
ChrstieClk: Well they al have some similarities and differences offstage
I'd like to think that I'm pretty close to my character.

Question: Hi Christie....how did you get interested in acting?
ChrstieClk: At a young age I loved doing plays , I was always interested
in making characters. I guess I caught the bug early and got lucky to get
on Days at a young age too!

Question: Will Austin and Carrie ever get together?
ChrstieClk: One never knows!

Question: What are some of your favorite activities?
ChrstieClk: Snow boarding is my big passion right now..I love it, being
outdoors is great!

Question: Do you think that you benefitted from practically growing up on
Days of Our Lives?
ChrstieClk: Definitely, It taught me so much about acting I really can't
put a high enough value on it!

Question: Are you and Austin going to get back together or what? You to
are perfect for each other. Get Sami out of the picture. Her and Lucas
need to get together. When are we going to find out that Lucas is the
father of Sami's Baby?

Question: Christie, I've been watching Days since 88' & my favorite actor
was Emilio. Why did he leave & is there any possibility of his return in
the future? By the way, I have your picture hanging in my office at

ChrstieClk: That's very flattering Thank you I honestly don't know the
real reason why Emilio left the show are you looking for the 'DIRT"? I
hope he will come back just like you ... again, we'll see.

Will she be back?
ChrstieClk: I hate to keep disappointing everyone about what will happen
in the future....... If I told you everything I wouldn't have a Job!!!

Question: Will you be doing any movies and will you and Austin get back
together?
ChrstieClk: I think that I would like to a movie if it is the right one!
I have nothing in the works at this second. And about me and Austin.......
Question: Christie, being a male, is there a big male audience for Days?
ChrstieClk: I guess you mean that YOU are a male right? I believe that
there is a very large male following for Days and a lot of Soaps. It's not
the female domain anymore. I'm glad for that.

Question: What was Deidre Halls reaction when she found out she was
playing a possessed person?
ChrstieClk: Well, it really isn't my place to say how another actor feels
about doing certain things, I think she did a great job though.

Question: Who on the show is the most fun to work with?
ChrstieClk: It's really, really, really hard to pick..everyone is so
terrific we have a great time, I try not to play favorites!

Question: Could you tell me how I can get into acting, because I would
love to do a love scene with you.
ChrstieClk: Well, thank you. All I can say is if you really want to be an
actor...WORK, WORK, WORK. Keep your head up and do as much work as
possible.
I was very lucky to be successful and I love it! You really have to LOVE
IT!! If you do nothing can stop you!

Question: Do you miss working with Patrick Muldoon?? Do you all still see
each other?
ChrstieClk: He was terrific, I had a great time with Patrick. And we will
run into each other occasionally. It's always good to see him!

Question: Does it take a while to become comfortable with a new actor
playing your love interest on the show? Like when Patrick Muldoon was
replaced?
ChrstieClk: It is always an adjustment when you work so closely with
people but it is part of the business, and it is my job as an actress to
adjust as quickly as possible.. he was hard to replace too. I hope I did a
good job!
AOLiveMC11: SEHZUCKI would like to know:
Question: Any chance of a romance with the hunky Jason Brooks?
ChrstieClk: Well, only time will tell. I'll tell him that you think
he's HUNKY!

can't seem to make it look as good as yours!
ChrstieClk: Well, there may be a reason for this...I have a ton of people
helping me. Oh, and thanks it isn't easy to get this hair to look great
all the time, my make-up people do a great job!

Question: Christy, love you on days, you are my favorite... How is it to
work with Vivian (Louise S.)?
ChrstieClk: I love working with Louise. I guess I love working with
everyone!! But it really is true we try tohave as much fun as possible!

Question: How do you feel about how your character has changed over the
years?
ChrstieClk: Well, good question... Hmm..... My character has changed kind
of as I have changed and I think the writers have done a great job keeping
up with me!! It's neat growing up on TV and I've been lucky to have good
people writing for me. I really enjoy looking at how much I've changed
over the years.

Question: Do you have any other plans than just acting on "Days"?
ChrstieClk: Well, I'll be coming out with a line of Snow boarding clothes
soon I love Snow boarding too! We'll see where life leads me I guess!

ChrstieClk: You named your son Austin? I think it's a great name too! Yes
I miss Patrick I enjoyed working with him. Do YOU think Lucas is the real

ChrstieClk: It depends, a lot of it is sheer luck to be honest with you.
I'm glad you think I'm good though that's very nice of you. The best thing
I can say is if it is what you want, it may really get hard just keep at
it and believe in yourself. That's the best thing I can say Oh and good

ChrstieClk: Well, that's a very hard question to answer. Let me just say
that I'm very glad I came back!

ChrstieClk: If we knew, she wouldn't be mysterious right? I wish I

someone who can make me laugh and is a great friend and fun to be around!
I hope to be acting in the movies soon! That would be super!!! We'll see!

ChrstieClk: Yes, I do I think it's important to keep learning. I see my
teacher as much as I feel it necessary, It's also fun, I guess I try to go
to class once a week, don't always make it though.

Question: What's it like working on a soap opera?
ChrstieClk: I love it. It can be very demanding because we get a lot of
material to learn in a very short time. So sometimes it can get hectic.
But it really is fun, I've been doing Days so long that I've kind of
gotten used to the stress, not all of it!!! But I have so much fun!

Question: Do the actors on Days ever browse the Net?
ChrstieClk: I'm sure that some of them do. It's a lot of fun, but to
tell the truth, our work takes up so much time, I'd be surprised if anyone
did it constantly.

ChrstieClk: Of course! You try them and see for yourself!

Question: How far ahead does the show tape? Days? Weeks?
ChrstieClk: We do a show a day and it varies how far ahead we are usually
not very far, you all know what's happening only a short while after we
do.
So Weeks? Not really! Usually it's just days!

Question: How long do you plan to stay on Days?
ChrstieClk: As long as they'll have me, I like to just see where my
career takes me..Right now, I'm very happy on the Show, I guess we'll see
what happens.

Question: Do you miss the wonderful "devil" story line with Marlena?
ChrstieClk: I really do, she was great! But it is a Soap Opera, Things
change try not to get too attached to one story line too long!
AOLiveMC11: Wan2Bcute would like some suggestions:
Question: Hi, Christie! My 11 year old daughter has done local plays and
enjoys them. What do you suggest her next move be?
ChrstieClk: Humm! I'm thinking! Well she is only 11 I'd hate to push her
too much. But if it is something she loves doing keep it up as long as
she enjoys it!! Does she want to be in TV or the Movies or what?
Experience is the best teacher. Explore new characters too. After that I
stress, if it is still fun she could try to get someone to notice her and
agent or something!

having your Mom manage your career?
ChrstieClk: Well, my mother helped me and continues to help me a lot. I
have some other people help too but I love my Mom!
