Jensen Ackles: Hey, how's everybody doing?
Fritz_55: Jensen, congratulations on your SOD nomination. By any chance are you planning on getting your hair cut?
Jensen Ackles: Thank you very much. My hair cut? Yeah, I am. I just haven't got around to it. We're just waiting for a chance to do it.
Fritz_55: Jensen, who would you say are your best friends on the set?
Jensen Ackles: Alison Sweeney and Bryan Dattilo and Christie Clark. Gosh, all of them. I joke around with all of them, but probably those three the most, and Austin.
Jensen: I read somewhere that you're into classic rock. So am I! What are your fave bands? Mine are Boston, the Eagles and CCR. Oh yeah, and when is your character gonna take shape?
Jensen Ackles: I like Led Zepplin, Steve Miller Band and Kansas and so on and so on. When is my character going to take shape? Probably in the next couple of months they're going to come up with some stuff.
Mikiah: Will there ever be a love interest for you on the show? Any clue of who it might be?
Jensen Ackles: Yes, there will, and we're searching as we speak. Well, soon to be anyway....
ShannD: I heard a rumor that Eric has been working for Stefano. Is this true? Say it ain't so!
Jensen Ackles: It ain't so.
Senza007: I love the sweaters that you wear on Days. Do you get to pick what you wear?
Jensen Ackles: No, they do a pretty good job of picking them out for me, but if I want to wear them off the set, I'm more than welcome to, which is nice. But they do all the coordinating on that.
DaytimeRules: I think you're one of Days' best new characters. Did you watch other soaps before you got the job?
Jensen Ackles: No. I never really watched soaps. My mom has always watched AMC, so they've always been around, in fact I used to make fun of them, but I was young and didn't know better. I liked comedies more, they seemed to be more my taste, but I enjoy working on a soap.
Sami_brady: Don't cut your hair!
Fritz_55: Jensen, how short is your new cut going to be?
Jensen Ackles: I've talked to the producers about it and they've said we'd do it slowly, so they're happy with what they saw. I just got sick of long hair and wanted to do something, just haven't built up enough courage to....
Mikiah: Will you ever have an evil side to your character like Sami, or do you think that you will continue to be "the good twin"?
Jensen Ackles: Who knows? Stay tuned. :-)
PurplGrl: Do you enjoy playing Eric?
Jensen Ackles: I love it.
Sami_brady: Bro, when are your secrets coming out? And by whom are they going to me exposed? Say me! :o
Jensen Ackles: You should know, you're my twin! They're coming out soon. In fact, Sami's gonna start getting on me in upcoming episodes.
Gorgeous_Girl_: What is your favorite comedy?
Jensen Ackles: Comedy... I'd have to say Friends. And grow up... Dallas, Texas.
Ginny_19_girl: Hey, Jenson, did you have fun this past weekend in New Jersey?
Jensen Ackles: Well, it was all right. It was raining and it was a kinda frantic charity event, but overall it turned out great. We raised a lot of money in the charity event. I'm glad to be home, though.
Evangelion98: Jensen, which city is better for acting: L.A. or NYC?
Jensen Ackles: Well, I've never acted in NY, so I'm kind of prejudiced and have to say L.A. I think you have to be in a certain mindset to live in NY, anyway.
CoolJen12: Do you enjoy working with Alison?
Jensen Ackles: Yes, I do, very much.
SweetCandy_001: How old are you?
Jensen Ackles: I am 19 years old.
Honey14_: Do you have a girlfriend, and what do you look for in a girl? Age?
Jensen Ackles: I am single. Personality is a big thing with me. Just a down-to-earth personality... someone who's humorous and knows how to joke around.
Mikiah: What character on the show would you choose as a love interest for Eric?
Jensen Ackles: Well, it's a pick between my sisters! (LOL) There really isn't anyone on there to be a love interest for Eric, yet.
Mmmprozac: Do you prefer boxers of briefs?
Jensen Ackles: Briefs during the day, boxers at night.
Stetsni: Are you taking college classes, or only acting right now?
Jensen Ackles: I'm not taking any classes. Strictly a workin' man.
Sami_brady: What's your favorite food? Do you like fast food?
Jensen Ackles: No, I don't really care for fast food. I like chicken and pasta the best.
Bja22: Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Jensen Ackles: I have an older brother who'll be 23 in December, and I have a younger sister who's 12.
Mikiah: In what direction would you like to see your character go?
Jensen Ackles: I'd like to see him kind of have an emotional landslide to where he's been keeping all these things inside and he kind of falls apart inside and out. That would be fun to play. I don't think evil is in his nature; striking down evil is more his thing.
MysticNITES: What did you do before Days?
Jensen Ackles: I did an episode of Cybill. I was a series regular on NBC last fall in Mr. Rhodes. It was a Monday night show and only ran a season, but I played one of the principal students on that. I only moved out here about a year ago.
Honey14_: How do you like having all these fans now?
Jensen Ackles: I don't know... I guess it really hasn't hit me yet. It's kind of odd. Somebody came up to me today while I was shopping and asked for an autograph. It's kind of like an out-of-body experience. Like, is this really happening to me?
Bubb1ez: Will you be at the May Fan Club Luncheon?
Jensen Ackles: Yes, I will. I'm also going to be in Tucson this weekend.
Bja22: Jensen, do you answer all of your fan mail?
Jensen Ackles: I do my best, yes. I don't personally, actually my mother does it, but I read all my fan mail and she does the responses that I help her with.
TelevisionMan: So what kind of reaction have you gotten to your SOD award nomination? It's for "newcomer," right?
Jensen Ackles: Yes, it is "newcomer." My reaction was... I was really stunned, after only being on the show four months, and my parents are, "I told you so." But everyone's been pretty excited about it. It's a really cool deal. And the fans have been really supportive about it. I've been out of town, and at the events everyone's been very supportive and that's been really awesome.
Madeline44: Do you have any pets?
Jensen Ackles: Yes, I do. I just got a puppy two weeks ago and I love her. She is about 14 weeks old and is a Shepherd/Rottweiller mix named Dallas. Go figure, huh? :-)
JH1820: Do you like any sports?
Jensen Ackles: I love sports. Pretty much you name it and I'll play it. I love football, baseball, basketball. I'm on a softball team right now. My buddies and I play football on weekends -- when I'm in town, that is.
Sami_brady: When is your birthday?
Jensen Ackles: March 1
Senza007: What was it like watching yourself on TV for the first time?
Jensen Ackles: It was exactly how you would expect it. I was jumping around calling everyone I know, saying, "I'm on TV, I'm on TV!" It was pretty exciting.
Appleplum: What do you do when you are not working?
Jensen Ackles: I'm hanging out with my friends, my two roommates who are buddies of mine from Texas. We just got a new James Bond Nintendo game and I just bought a ping-pong table, so there's always a grueling match on that.
Travolta_Girl: What would you do if you weren't an actor?
Jensen Ackles: I'd definitely be affiliated with sports somehow, like a trainer or maybe a high school coach. I was quite the sports addict in high school and junior high.
ShannD: Jensen, who is your favorite actor or actress?
Jensen Ackles: My favorite actress is Meg Ryan. I really like her stuff. My favorite actor... I don't know, there's so many to choose from. I really like Harrison Ford. I like all of his stuff. Mel Gibson. Those big hitters.
Appleplum: Did you always know that you wanted to be a actor?
Jensen Ackles: No, and even when I got this job, I still wasn't sure.
Aubs22: What was your favorite scene on the show?
Jensen Ackles: Probably the scenes with Alison and Eileen (Sami and Kristen), when I'm being very sarcastic with them and just telling them off, so to speak.
Madeline44: Have you ever done any modeling?
Jensen Ackles: Yeah, when I was little I did some catalogues, like JC Penney-type stuff, but nothing major. All you need is a smile to do that stuff.
Sami_brady: What's your favorite color?
Jensen Ackles: My favorite color is blue.
Madeline44: Have you experienced any bloopers on the set yet?
Jensen Ackles: Oh yeah. And they're so fun! There's always the flubbed lines and then making a joke out of it, those happen just about every day and lighten up the tedious work.
Jenmaria: Do you have any aspirations to do movies eventually?
Jensen Ackles: I'd love to do movies. That way you can dabble with different characters.
Jenmaria: Are your roommates actors, too?
Jensen Ackles: One of them is, the other is in production.
Sweetimj: Who is your favorite person to work with on the show?
Jensen Ackles: Probably Eileen Davidson or Deidre Hall. Deidre's just so knowledgeable about everything, and Eileen's characters are just so fun to play opposite of.
Jenmaria: Are there any actors or actresses you'd really like to have the opportunity to work with?
Jensen Ackles: Yeah, there are tons of them. All the accomplished actors I'd love to work with and learn from them.
Sweetimj: Do you and any of the other actors (especially Brian or Roark) hang out off the air?
Jensen Ackles: Occasionally we'll do something. Alison and I and one of my roommates had lunch the other day. Christie and Austin and Bryan and some of us went out the other night, so occasionally. But when you work with these people all week long, it's nice to have time to hang out with friends of your own. time to hang out with friends of your own.
Skippa19m: Where would you like to live if you could choose anywhere, and what would the circumstances be i.e., family, single, condo, house, dog, cat?
Jensen Ackles: I'd love to live on a ranch in Colorado, probably in southern Colorado. And, of course, I'd love to have my family there and my friends.
ShannD: Which actor on the show is most unlike their character?
Jensen Ackles: That would be Alison Sweeney.

Jensen Ackles: I was there this weekend. I drove around the city Sunday afternoon.

Jensen Ackles: Not quite yet. It's actually in the works. We're starting to get things together

Jensen Ackles: Yeah, why not?

Jensen Ackles: No, I don't even have a computer, but I will soon, so maybe I'll start logging on then. But I'm sure I'll still be scared of it, though.

ILuvJensenAckles: What I really want to know is if you (your character) is going to stay on Days or if he's going to go back to Colorado. I just wondered because I don't want you to leave!
Jensen Ackles: Yes, I'll be on for quite a while.
Madeline44: What do you like to do for fun?
Jensen Ackles: I like to stay home and relax and play video games.
MysticNITES: What charities are you active in?
Madeline44: Do you consider yourself a romantic guy?
Jensen Ackles: Re: charities. There's no particular one, I've just been doing charity events to help raise money. Romantic guy... yes, I guess I do.
Skippa19m: Do you love your job? Does it make you happy?
Jensen Ackles: Yeah, I love my job, and yeah, it makes me happy and all the stuff that goes along with it.
Skippa19m: When you date a girl, do you want her to make you laugh?
Jensen Ackles: Oh, of course. I don't want her to be stupid. :-)
Madeline44: Where do you want to be in 10 years?
Jensen Ackles: That is a very good question. I'd love to be married and have a kid or two or three. I'd like to move away from L.A., move closer to my family, but still be active as far as movies go. I'd like to be in movies.
