PROLOGUE:
The real Princess Gina was bitterly upset at Hope for taking over her life for a year. She was also looking to get revenge on Stefano DiMera because he was the one who transformed Hope into her with a brain chip! She decided that the best way to take care of Hope and Stefano would be to lock them away at the secret top story of a turret castle in Europe. While Hope and Stefano were locked away, Gina decided to take over Hope's life. This means marrying Bo Brady. But soon, Gina's reign of terror was revealed and ended as Bo ended up shooting her on the rooftop of the Penthouse Grill at their wedding reception. The Brady family decided that it's time to find Hope! They got a clue that she may be locked away in the turret in Europe and decided to take themselves a little trip there to rescue her! When Stefano's goons, Rolf and Bart, learned that the Brady clan was headed to Europe, they decided to have a little run. They rigged the plane up with several, several explosives hoping to kill everyone in the air over the Atlantic Ocean! Everyone thought that this flight would be a peaceful one. Oh, how wrong were they? The skies were about to open up and suck them straight inside!
This whole mess started when Stefano DiMera transformed Hope Williams into
Princess Gina Von Amburg. As Gina, Hope slept with John during his Honeymoon
with Marlena in Hawaii, sent Bo and her son, Shawn-Douglas, to Boarding
School, and stole artwork in Europe. While at a party in Princess Gina
(Hope's) honor, the REAL Princess Gina was in attendance disguised in a veil
as Ilsa, Kurt's mother. Kurt was the one who took care of Gina while she was
locked up). The real Princess Gina looks exactly like Hope only older. At
this party, Hope as Princess Gina (who will be referred to as Gina/Hope)
stole the Rennet painting, "Spring Morning" form the hosts of the party (the
Harrimans). While Hope is stealing the Rennet, Bart (under Stefano's
orders), ties Bo up in a warehouse and sets it on fire! Luckily, Bo escapes.
Bo goes to find Gina/Hope and Gina/Hope feels like she is Hope! Bo goes
back to the US where he plans to meet up with Hope in a few days. Later,
Hope met with the real Princess Gina (thinking she was Ilsa) who kidnapped
her and locked Hope in a turret (where the real Princess Gina was kept by
Stefano). The turret was at the top of Gina's Chateau de Rev. Gina went to
Stefano and burned the Rennet, setting Stefano on fire as well. Dr. Rolf
bandaged and put ointment on Stefano's face. Stefano later comes face to
face with the Princess on a bridge . . . and Stefano pushes her off and Gina
falls to her "death." Back in the Turret, Hope (who still has Gina's
memories) escaped by digging out a brick. Kurt went caught her, but she
knocked him out and called Bo to tell him that she was on her way home. As
Hope runs, Stefano and Dr. Rolf plan to transform (who they think is)
Gina/Hope back into Hope. Rolf says that this can be dangerous, but they
plan to do it anyway. Back in the states, "Hope" (who is actually Gina . . .
which no one will find out for a LONG time) calls Bo and tells him and Shawn
(D.) that she is home and on the boat. So Bo and Shawn go home to the Fancy
Face to meet her. After they enjoy a reunion, Gina calls Kurt (who is sad
because of her death and Hope's escape) and tells him that she has taken over
Hope's life. Back in Paris, Hope tries to get a flight to Salem, but she as
no money. Later Kurt comes and she tries to escape from him. When she
tries to swim away, the transformation begins and Hope gets amnesia. Kurt
finds her and locks her in the turret&emdash;but the escape hole has been sealed.
She remembers Bo and her life back in Salem and cries.
TERROR IN THE SKIES:
It was an interesting day as Salem's finest boarded the jet that would fly them to Europe. Lily Faversham was knocking back drinks left and right so that she would be 'out of it' enough to fly. Greta and Eric were rolling in blankets of love, and Shawn and Belle's attraction was imminent from even across the room. The tension in John and Marlena's relationship was growing thick, as John seemed to be going back to his mercenary ways, from when Stefano controlled him. But several of these people were joining together for one main task: SAVE HOPE. They all walked slowly onto the jet.
As the engines roared, they took off into the skies. Meanwhile, across Salem, Stefano's goons, Rolf and Bart, were sitting in a jet simulator with controls that were secretly controlling the jet that everyone else was on. About the time that everyone began getting settled and calmed down in the skies, something major happened: Rolf and Bart pushed a button in their flight simulator that released a gas into the cockpit of the jet that everyone was on. The gas quickly made the pilots pass out! Everyone on the plane was now free-falling with no pilots! The people on the plane began to notice a bit of turbulence, so John Black went to check on the pilots in the cockpit. When he opened the door he found an eery image! Two pilots passed out with no one at the controls! John quickly asked Bo for his help to come in the cockpit and help him ride the plane.
Meanwhile, in the main section of the plane, everyone was blind to knowing what was going on in the cockpit. Suddenly, on the flight simulator, Rolf pushed a button that sent everyone on the plane reeling! It was a mini-bomb that he triggered, which ended up opening the door on the speeding plane, miles above the earth! As if Satan himself were ripping people out of the plane, Greta and Marlena nearly lost their lives by being almost sucked out the door of the plane! But after a short while, the gang finally got the door shut. But there was still the problem that the plane had no pilots. But, because John used to be trained at rescue situations, he knew how to fly a plane somewhat. So in the cockpit, Bo and John sat down in the pilots' seats, and as John put the headphones on signaling for help, all he heard was a message from Rolf. The message was to tell John that there is another bomb on the plane! John was in utter shock. If he didn't find out where the bomb was and disarm it, everyone on the plane would die! So quickly, John's brain switched quickly to his "mercenary" mode.
As everyone on the plane began to learn about the bomb, John and Bo rushed quickly to keep the plane safely flying, with the help of Eric. Suddenly, John realized that the bomb was in the back of the plane. He and Eric rushed to the back of the plane to find the bomb! After finding it, they spent nearly an hour trying to defuse it. But after trying to defuse it, John realized that if the wires within the bomb tube were to touch, it would blast off instantaneously.
After moments of thinking how to get the bomb off of the plane, time was ticking down to one last minute. Suddenly, a thought popped into John's head: Spray a can of shaving cream into the bomb tube to keep the wires from touching each other, then throw the bomb off the back of the plane! John began spraying the can, hoping that his efforts would work and save everyone.
Meanwhile, out in the main section of the plane, everyone strapped their seats in and said a last prayer. Belle cried into her mother Marlena's arms. Shawn D. tucked into his Grandmother Alice's arms and Greta and Lily quivered in each other's arms tightly. As everyone counted down the last ten seconds they continued their prayers.
"10, 9, 8," they cried, "7, 6, 5, 4." They quiveringly prayed, "On earth, as it is in heaven."
"3, 2.....1," they whispered to themselves.
BBBOOOOOOMMM! The bomb blasted off! John's plan didn't completely work!
The bomb went off just as John and Eric were throwing it off of the back end of the plane! It still caused an extensive amount of damage, but the plane was still partially flyable. Meanwhile, in the cockpit, Bo and Doug were trying to keep the plane afloat, even after the bomb had blasted. Amazingly, everyone was still alive and the plane would be able to fly for a few more minutes. But just as everyone began to think that they had survived, they realized that now the engine on the plane is blown...and it's going down!
Everyone clutched hands and once again said one last prayer as the plane neared the ocean. Within a matter of moments the plane struck impact with the ocean. Blasts of water were thrown miles into the air. What was everyone's fate? Were they alive? Were they dead? Gladly, everyone survived! Everyone was in a bad health situation and a bit woozy, but everyone survived. But now, with the plane being in the middle of the ocean, it was sinking! Everyone needed to get off of the plane before it sank. So everyone jumped out the main door of the plane into the water. Everyone swam fast-paced to a nearby island trying not to lose their energy. Thankfully, everyone made it to the deserted island alive. After a few days of keeping their health up and trying to keep themselves alive on the island, they were finally rescued!
Everyone survived the trauma and everyone was rescued! They all survived gracefully! If you're wondering if Bo ever found his sweet Hope, he did. He found her and they had a beautiful reunion! If you're wondering about the fate of Eric and Greta, they eventually broke up after Eric slept with an old lover. If you're wondering about the fate of Shawn and Belle, it's still undecided. If you're wondering about the fate of Stefano, he was rescued from the turret by John, too, and he lived. Everyone made it through this entire trauma with a happy ending.
And, as the saying goes......."Like Sands Through The Hourglass, So Are The Days Of Our Lives..........."
