Andrea has remarried and now goes by Andrea Gengler. Since she left
Days, Andrea hasn't done any acting, other than to recently play
herself in her twin sister Deidre Hall's TV movie about her struggle
to have a child. For a number of years after she was on Days, she ran
a company called "Puppytracks" that sold soap merchandise. The
company has been out of business for 4-5 years now. Andrea and her
husband have purchased a restaurant and are living in VA Beach and
overseeing the business. She has also gone back to her profession
before she was on Days--special education teacher. She was recently
named "Teacher of the year." Between stints on DAYS, Andrea did an

In January, 1998, Ron presented a musical theatre workshop at the
Department of Performing Arts at Weber State University. Since
leaving Days, Ron starred in Broadway productions, lectured on
American Musical Theatre, and produced the video series *Broadway!: A
History of the Musical,* used widely on university campuses across
the United States. Ron was recently featured *Show Music* magazine in
an article that traced his long career in musical theatre. Ron wrote
a letter to the magazine soon after, explaining his current
status:
"For the record, I would really like people to know my reason for
retiring 15 years ago was the loss of my singing voice to Multiple
Sclerosis. I have a relatively mild case: I walk with a cane, but
unfortunately the muscles which control the singing voice, along with
a few others, are gone. I tried to work briefly after I became ill
but found it impossible; even wearing a microphone, I had no low
notes or ability to sustain tones. And in addition, I discovered that
when you have to *think* to walk, your concentration is gone.
I really did enjoy teaching - much more than I would have imagined. I
also learned a lot... Now that I am retired from that, I have begun
writing and am glad for the new challenges that work
offers."
(Addie Horton #1)
