Sandra Canning |
(Grace Jeffries 1989-90)
For a long time here, I've had Sandra Canning confused with her older
half-sister, Lisa Canning, who works on Entertainment Tonight. The
two, just three years apart in age, are apparently confused often,
including other places on the web. Sorry for the error. The
information here is now definitely correct.

Crystal Chappell |
(Carly Manning)
Crystal now plays Olivia Spencer on Guiding Light where she's
appeared since 1999. Her character is engaged to Prince Richard who
Reva was married to during her missing years. Crystal left One Life
to Live and her role of Maggie Carpenter when her contract expired in
the fall of 1997. Apparently her contract desires would not be met by
OLTL. After Crystal left Days in 1993, she guest-starred on Burke's
Law, Diagnosis: Murder, Silk Stalkings, and Walker: Texas Ranger
(playing Stacey in "Trust No One"). She also did Lady In Waiting, an
erotic thriller with William Devane. She spent three weeks on
location in California, "strung up in a harness on the side of a
mountain" for her role of an obsessed anthropologist trying to
capture Bigfoot (for the film Bigfoot: The Unforgettable Encounter
--1995). In an effort to join boyfriend Michael Sabatino on the East
Coast, she looked into jobs on NY soaps, and landed the role of
Maggie Carpenter on OLTL. (The two married in Jan. 1997.) In 1996,
she appeared in a series of One Acts at Manhattan's Theatre on Three.
She has also formed "Hands-On Productions, a CD-rom company
specializing in entertainment games, with ex-Days writer Anne
Schoettle. In July, 1994, Crystal starred in the play "Mr. Wrong" in
Burbank. It also starred Michael Sabatino. On July 20, 1997, Crystal
appeared as the gorgeous and shapely damsel in distress, Chloe in
"Pop Devlin, Private Eye," a black and white film noir-ish vignette
that wrapped around Sea of Love, Fatal Attraction and Body of
Evidence, on the USA Network. You can find more info on her at:

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Scott Colomby's interest in show business came at a early age. His mother, Lee, is a theatre actress and his father, Harry, is a Jazz Agent, Celebrity Manager and School Teacher. When Scott was in grade school, his father relocated the family in southern California. Scott attended the famous Beverly Hills High School and upon graduation, he entered Immaculate Heart majoring in Theatre.
Scott continued his education by studying with renowned teachers, Jerzy Grotufski, Lee Strasberg, Peggy Fuerry and John Lehne gaining as much knowledge as he could. Later in his career, Scott went from student to teacher, teaching method-oriented acting classes for five years.
His first performance was for PBS in the Lillian Helman play, Montserrat co-starring with Rip Torn, Gerladine Page, Martin Sheen, Earl Holliman and Jack Albertson. Working with such a talented group of actors made quite an impact on the young performer.
He gave dynamic performances in such productions as Piece de Resistance, directed by Abraham Polanksi at the Coast Theatre, Paradise Lost directed by John Lehne at the Victory Theatre and Streetcar Named Desire directed by James Bridges at the Ahmanson Theatre. Of Scott's performance, in Paradise Lost, Lee Melville of Drama-Logue stated, "The intense attitude Colomby maintains during the balance of the play makes him an actor to watch; he's in line for all the Pacino and DeNiro roles."
From the beginning, Scott worked steadily in films and television. Among his motion picture credits are A Quiet Night in Hollywood, Timemaster, Porky's and then re-prising his role in the two successful sequels, Porky's II: The Next Day and Porky's Revenge. He then co-starred in the classic Caddyshack with Bill Murray, Chevy Chase and Ted Knight. Scott appeared as a member of the band in Jack Frost with Micheal Keaton.
Scott's television credits include lead roles in the popular series One Day At A Time, Szysznyk, Sons and Daughters; television Pilots; Gulf City, R*E*L*A*X, and Jump Street; and a re-curring role on NBC's daytime drama, Days of Our Lives. He also appeared in the television movies Angel on My Shoulder, Are You in the House Alone?, Can Ellen be Saved, Senior Year and Outrage.

Denise Crosby |
(Lisa Davis 1980)
Denise turned 39 in November of 1997 and is the voice for Sandra
Brown's "Exclusive" on tape. Denise, who is probably best known for
playing Tasha Yar on "Star Trek: The Next Generation," left the show
early in its run (1987-88, with occasional return cameos, most often
as her half- Romulan daughter, Sela 1991-1992 ). In 1998, she
appeared in theTV movie, "Chance of a Lifetime" starring John Ritter
and Katey Sagal. She played Katie. Denise was on two episodes of
Diagnosis Murder. One was the two parter, "Murder on the Run" where
she played a gym owner (January 1996). The other was called "The New
Healers" (January 1995). She has received much note for stage work in
Los Angeles, including a nomination for an Ovation award (L.A.'s
equivalent of Broadway's Tony) in 1994 for her work in a production
of "Last Summer At Bluefish Cove." More recently she got some notice
for her role in 1996's all-female production of "Richard III" by the
Los Angeles Women's Shakespeare Company. She was seen in the films
"Pet Sematary" (1989), "Dolly Dearest" (1992), "Relative Fear" (1994)
as Connie, "Sisters" (1994) as Cynthia Albright, "Mutant Species"
(1995), and "Dream Man" (1995) in which she played a psychic cop,
Barbara. In 1994, she appeared in "Max" as Jayne Blake. She appeared
on Showtime's made-for-cable erotic TV movie, "Red Shoe Diaries 2:
Double Dare" (1992). She played the mayor on the short-lived "Key
West" series (starring Fisher Stevens of CBS' "Early Edition") in
1993. But a recurring role as Dr. Gretchen Kelly on "Lois &
Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" as well as guest shots on "The
Adventures of Brisco County Jr." as Sherrif Jenny Taylor (1993),
"Civil Wars," and "Models Inc." as Ursula have kept her busy. And
right after her stage role in "Richard III" ended, she ended up on
"Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" in April of last year. Her other movies
include: Desperate Crimes (1993) as Bella Blu, High Strung (1991) as
Melanie, Blackwater (1989), Miracle Mile (1989) as Landa, Skin Deep
(1989) as Angie, Tennessee Nights (1989) as Sally, Arizona Heat
(1988) as Jill Andrews, and Crime Zone (1988). Her TV movie roles
include: Malice in Wonderland (1985), Stark (1985), and Cocaine: One
Man's Seduction (1983) as Teller. Additonal movie roles include:
Crime Zone (1988), Eliminators (1986) as Nora Hunter, Desert Hearts
(1985) as Pat, Curse of the Pink Panther (1983), Man Who Loved Women,
The (1983) as Enid, 48 HRS. (1982) as Sally and Trail of the Pink
Panther (1982). The most recent sighting was a couple of weeks before
her most recent birthday at, what else, a joint "Star Trek" and
"Babylon 5" convention in Pasadena, California. Denise recently
turned up on 2 episodes of "NYPD Blue" (co-starring fellow Days alum,
Charlotte Ross) as the hard-as-nails Police Captain that was assigned
to take over the squad from Lt. Fancy (spring 2001). The people in
the squad couldn't deal with her attitude and rules, and asked Lt.
Fancy to pull strings to have her removed, which he did.
