International Security Alliance (I.S.A.)

The ISA is Salem's equivalent to the FBI or CIA. Agents have been operating in Salem since the mid 1980s and just recently, a resurgence in their spy activity has occurred. Below is a list of all of the known ISA agents over the years and their work with the agency.

Heads of the ISA
1984-1985	Nickerson, George	Corrupt head of the ISA who was part of the Purse, the Power, and the Pawn pursuit. He committed suicide after Shane discovered his connection to Victor Kiriakis.
1986	Vaughn, Ogden	Chief of the ISA who kidnapped Marlena Evans to get Roman Brady (John Black) to search for missing treasury bonds
1987-1992	Chief Tarrington	Chief of the ISA, who oversaw Shane's work and that of his partners.

Good Agents

70s, 1991-1997

Brady, Roman

Roman was an I.S.A. agent in the late 70s (offscreen). He was partnered with Orpheus and hid the stolen treasury bonds. Roman accidentally killed Orpheus' wife Rebecca in a gunfight with the KGB. From 1991-1992, Roman was at war with Rafi Torres. It was not an official ISA assigment, but Chief Tarrington did warn Roman to leave town. Roman didn't because he didn't want to leave his family again. In 1994 after Roman's divorce to Marlena, he left Salem to Washington on an ISA assigment. In 1997, Roman was reportedly killed in an undercover assignment.

1984-1992 (1992-present, off screen)

Donovan, Shane

Captain of the ISA. Shane first came to Salem working undercover to discover Larry Welch's connection to the Cartel. Shane has investigated Stefano DiMera, Victor Kiriakis, and Lawrence Alamain. He went undercover in the revival camp of Saul Taylor and pursued the mysterious computer disk. He's always willing to help his Salem friends, providing access to the state of the art ISA labs and technology. He had a secret ISA room in his house. While he no longer is based in Salem, we know that he is still an active ISA agent.

1985-1991

Peach, Lavina

Miss Peach was Shane Donovan's I.S.A. partner. She always referred to Shane as Laddie. Miss Peach was British as well and a mother figure for Shane. In 1990, Miss Peach became ill with the same mystery virus that struck Bo.

Davis, Cameron

ISA Agent who cleared Shane Donovan of the espionage charges regarding a case in Stockholm

Halpern, David

ISA officer who sent Bo and Shane to Stockholm to search for Britta Englund

Black, John

John is now in the I.S.A. and uses his new company Basic Black as a front.

Billings

Agent who had helped Roman Brady hide the treasury bonds in 1979; was murdered by Britta Englund

Lodge, Trevor

Snooty ISA Agent who dated Calliope Bradford and made Ethan Reilly jealous

Pascal, Gabrielle

Was once Shane Donovan's partner and lover. The mother of Shane's daughter, Eve. Gabrielle was also an attorney.

1989

Carson, Gail

An I.S.A. Agent who posed as a doctor and fell in love with Marcus Hunter. Worked to investigate Saul Taylor.

1989-1991

Johnson, Steve

Steve joined the ISA in 1989. Steve underwent reconstructive surgery to have his eye socket repaired and a glass eye put into it. He then infiltrated the revival camp as Brother Daniel Lucas. Steve was investigating Reverend Saul Taylor and Alfred Jericho, who were responsible for many black churches being burned down in the 1960s.

Brady, Kimberly

In 1991, Chief Tarrington assigned Kim to work with Shane investigating Lawrence Alamain, who they believed was spreading a virus that was killing off ISA agents

Lindquist, Gretchen

ISA scientist who helped Roman Brady escape from San Cristobal and retrieve the Mayan codices

early-mid 90s

Billie Reed

While it's not clear if she was actually an agent, Billie worked undercover with Roman on a case in Europe.

Worked with John Black at Basic Black, supplying him with technical gadgets for his work.

Kiriakis, Philip

After joining the Marines, Philip returned to Salem as an undercover ISA agent. He worked with John Black to investigate Maya, Tony and their mysterious diamonds.

Husband of Rebecca Reed; corrupt ISA agent who blamed Roman Brady for the death of his wife; kidnapped Marlena Evans and caused her "death"; was shot by Roman(John) to death.

ISA agent and partner of Shane Donovan; murdered Emma Donovan and tried to kill Kimberly Brady, because she wanted Shane for herself.

Donovan, Andrew "Drew" III

Son of Andrew and Jeannie Donovan, twin brother of Shane Donovan; crooked ISA agent who worked for Stefano DiMera as an assassin. He murdered Ambassador Chung in Bangkok under Stefano's orders.

Prescott, Simon

ISA agent; used Shane Donovan as a pawn to catch Alfred Jericho; was killed by Cal Winters

Jericho, Alfred

Former ISA Agent involved in racial killings; kidnapped Shane Donovan; died in an explosion. Was a Colonel

Bishop, Jordan

Doctor; head of the ISA Immunology lab; developed the deadly virus that was killing ISA agents
