Summary: Belle returns to Salem as Jan plots against her…Kate and Roman spend an evening alone… as Sami comes face to face with a killer…or DOES she? Kudos to Ali Sweeny for her physical performance!
Welcome Home Belle…
Shawn goes into the other room to find Belle waiting on him. She says
"surprise, I'm back!" Jan is also in the room, hiding behind some
shelves with a dumbbell in her hand. Shawn is shocked to see Belle as
they kiss and hug and Jan watches from the shadows and stews. But
then Shawn becomes worried about Belle, saying it isn't safe around
here. She explains to him that the "hot date" she was talking about
on the phone was him. Jan drops the dumbbell and they hear it. Shawn
goes to check it out as she darts back into the shadows and they
never see her. Shawn tells Belle that he has the feeling he is being
followed lately, but chalks it up to paranoia. He tells her she
should have stayed in Europe, but she tells him that she was worried
about everyone and had to come home and they talk about the killings.
They decide to leave as Jan thinks that Belle's coming home was her
big mistake. Later, Shawn is on the phone with Hope (who is checking
up on him) and he tells her about Belle and promises they will be
careful. He then tells Belle about how Roman was named as the next
target. He also goes on to tell her about how Caroline's spirit
talked to Celeste and the séance where Abe returned and how
both of them predicted that Marlena will be killed by John, which
shocks Belle. She decides that she needs to go home and check on
them. Shawn promises that the real killer will be caught soon and
everything can return to normal.
After Shawn and Belle leave, Jan calls Marlena (who is at her office) apologizing for being late and promises to be right over. Marlena asks what is wrong and Jan says she needs to talk to her immediately.
At Marlena's Office…
John is with her as he talks about later and they kiss, him telling
her that is a taste of things to come. He is worried about her being
there alone with a patient, but she says that this person is no
threat to her. They talk about (what else?) Roman and how worried she
is about him. She seems to insinuate that she doesn't trust Kate with
Roman and goes to call him, but John stops her, asking if she is
jealous of what Kate and Roman have. Marlena believes that he has
been listening to Sami too long, and says NO she is not jealous. John
asks her if she REALLY believes that Kate could be the killer.
Marlena doesn't know WHAT to believe anymore. She brings up Cassie
and Rex and they talk about them being a bond between Kate and Roman.
Marlena vows that she loves and adores John and that they also have a
child to bond them…Belle. They talk about missing her but
Marlena wants her to remain safe and wants the killer caught so she
can come home and things can return to normal. John asks her about
her patient, but she won't tell him who it is. (This is where Jan
calls). John says that he is heading on home, he has work to do. He
mentions Roman again and how he wouldn't let him help set up a
security system. Marlena feels that they should all be working
together and believes that Sami is causing too many problems. John
says that if she isn't careful, Sami will go off the deep end.
Marlena says that Sami will NOT succeed in splitting them up and
promises that she will always be there for him. With that John
leaves, telling he will have dinner waiting on her when she gets
home. And then after that… a night she will never
forget.
Later, Marlena is working and accidentally knocks over a picture of Sami and it breaks. Jan rushes in upset as Marlena asks her what is wrong and she has flashbacks of seeing Belle and Shawn kiss. She asks why can't she find someone to love her. Marlena asks if she is talking about Shawn but before she answers, Marlena gets a call from Shawn, wanting to talk to her. Marlena promises to call him back. After she gets off the phone, Marlena asks Jan if Shawn knows she is back in town, but she says she wants to wait to tell him. Jan has a fantasy of kissing Shawn and him vowing his love to her. Belle comes in and catches them as Jan attacks her and chokes her with Shawn cheering her on. Marlena asks Jan what she is thinking and she says she only wants to make things right with Shawn. Shawn arrives in Marlena's outer office and waits. Marlena writes a prescription for Jan for her anxiety and as she goes to leave, sees Shawn sitting there and stops.
Belle goes to the penthouse and finds John, who is thrilled to see her. She tells him that Shawn has told her everything about how he is under suspect.
Kate and Roman…
have returned to his place and he is now in an apron (kiss the cook)
and they kiss. She thanks him for getting her out of jail and talks
about being worried about him. He jokes around, but she is serious.
He changes the subject, wanting that night to be special and brings
out a box of decorations, suggesting they "deck the halls". Going
through the box, she finds a stocking with Sami's name and talks
about Sami trying to get Roman and Marlena back together. They also
talk about how they never got to know Cassie. Kate can't believe how
Sami is using the serial killer to her own benefit. Roman says Sami
is her own worst enemy, even tho he loves her. Kate is sure that
someday Sami will get what she deserves. After diner, Roman asks her
why she is so down and out. She is just worried but he vows to catch
the killer, saying he is ready for him. He says he will catch him and
clear her name in the process. He thinks that targeting him may be a
ruse…he could be after someone else. There is a knock at the
door and it is John, telling them that he has bad news…Roman was
NOT the target, it was someone else…Sami and that she is dead.
Roman yells "NOOOOOO!" Okay, snap out of it Kate. Yes, she is
daydreaming. Roman asks her to stay the night, but she has work piled
up. He offers to take her home and swears that nothing is going to
happen to him and there is nothing that Sami can do to break them
up.
Sami and the Killer…
come face to face when she opens the closet door at Kate's. She
screams and he grabs her and holds her at knife point. They struggle
and I think she bites him and gets away with him chasing her. They
are all over the place but he keeps catching up with her and they
struggle. She is a toughie! At one point she grabs an axe from the
fire hose station in the hall, but he gets it and slams it into the
wall. One other time they are struggling and both go tumbling heads
over heels down the stairwell. They both are out could and she gets
up first. She tries to sneak away, but grabs her by the foot. She
runs up the stairs with him in pursuit. She rushes back into Kate's
apartment and someone grabs her on the shoulder…It's Roman (he
and Kate are now there). Sami screams and then hysterically tries to
tell them that the killer is after her. Roman pulls his gun and
orders them to the other room to call for back up. Once in there,
Kate's cell phone can't get a signal. They hear a noise in the other
room and the killer comes out at them with a knife…with both of
them letting out blood-curdling screams. Roman rushes in and orders
him to drop the knife. Roman says it is time to find out who it is as
he yanks off the mask. Camera on Kate and Sami's expressions as Kate
gasps "Oh my God"…Sami says "It's YOU!" Of course we don't
see…as the previews roll…
ON THE NEXT DAYS OF OUR LIVES…
Sami says "Dad, I was desperate…you have to listen to me!" Kate says " leave him the hell alone…you have hurt him enough!"…
John to Belle…" It's like death has everyone around the throat and choking the life out of us…that's why I don't want you here!"…
Jan (holding Belle's picture): "Belle, I've come back to steal your boyfriend away from you…and NOTHING is going to stop me!"…
And the credits roll…

Summary: Jan's emergency office visit is a quick one as she discovers Shawn in the outer office, Roman unmasks the person he captures in Kate's room and John and Shawn vow to protect their women from danger.
MARLENA'S OFFICE
Jan returns to Marlena and tells her Shawn's outside in the waiting
room. Marlena suggests Jan talk to Shawn and let him know she's back
in town and how she feels. Jan isn't ready to see him yet, but
Marlena thinks speaking from her heart is better then a rehearsed
speech. Marlena agrees to let Jan hide and lets Shawn in and asks him
to sit at her desk. He tells her that Belle's home and she's
overjoyed with the news as she's missed her. He tells her that
Belle's home with John. They both know John will try to convince
Belle to return to Europe, but Belle isn't swayed that easily. He
wanted to let Marlena know that Belle is up to speed on the
premonition that her dad will kill her mom. Marlena wasn't going to
worry Belle about that, but Shawn knows being upfront about it is the
best way. They talk about Celeste's premonition and Marlena knows
John would never hurt her "intentionally". Shawn tells her that his
parents consider John a suspect being he doesn't have an alibi for
any of the murders. They talk about the rest of the suspects,
dismissing them. She knows Roman is blinded by love and would never
suspect Kate. Marlena's worried about Belle, if she can handle this
(Jan overhears and hopes it drives Belle off the deep end). Marlena's
anxious to see Belle and grabs her coat. Shawn offers to walk her out
(thank goodness someone remembers there's a serial killer loose).
Marlena tells Shawn that he's Belle's rock and she'll need him. He
promises to be there for Belle, now and forever. Shutting off the
last lights in the office (uh, you have an unstable patient hiding in
your office), Marlena and Shawn head out as Marlena says "poor
Belle". Jan is crouched behind the reception desk repeating that and
asks "what about me?" Jan walks into Marlena's office and goes
through Marlena's desk looking for the key to her files. She figures
that "bitch" took the key with her and considers prying open the file
drawer with a letter opener, but worries she'd get caught. She'll get
what she wants and that's Shawn. We see her flashing back to when she
was pregnant and Shawn telling her he's there for her (wow, he looks
so much younger then) and for her baby. Holding the letter opener
like a dagger, she points it at Belle's picture on Marlena's desk and
tells it she's come back to steal her boyfriend and will ruin her
(Belle's) life just like she ruined hers. She talks herself down and
puts the letter opener down, reminding herself what they say "revenge
is a dish better served cold" (Jan a trekkie too? Isn't that what
Khan said in Star Trek II?) when she takes Shawn away from Belle for
good.
SALEM INN
A replay of Roman telling the serial killer to drop the knife before
pulling up his mask. Sami and Kate are shocked to see it's LUCAS
under the mask. Roman orders Lucas, who's trying to explain, to shut
up..handcuffs him and reads him his rights..saying the lowest scum on
earth wouldn't want to defend him. (we all know Lucas is
innocent...Maggie wouldn't have to tell him that she's his sponsor!)
Roman can't get a cell signal in Kate's apartment (where's that CAN
YOU HEAR ME NOW guy when you need him?), so has to go into her
bedroom to use the land line (Lucas cut the cord on the living
room's). He orders both Sami and Kate into the bedroom with him even
with Lucas handcuffed (why didn't he have Kate call and he watch the
prisoner?). Kate begs Roman not to arrest Lucas yet. Sami returns to
ask Lucas how he could kill the mother of his son and he tells her
because she deserved it. Her only regret is that she won't be the one
to give him the lethal injection. She asks why he went after Abe,
Jack and Maggie...and then her grandma, the nicest person she knew.
She figures Kate did Cassie, so maybe she'll be rid of both of them.
Lucas denies doing anything. She doesn't know how she'll tell Will
his father is a killer. Roman and Kate return and Roman tells Lucas
the squad car is on the way and is there anything he wants to say.
Lucas reminds him that he was told to be quiet, but wants to confess.
Kate tells him to stay quiet, but Lucas says (looking at Sami) that
he's guilty as sin.
Roman apologizes to Kate, but calls a squad car to come to Salem Inn, Room 917 (but doesn't tell them why...that 9th floor must be empty except for Kate with all that screaming Sami was making and no one hearing). Sami gets wound up (as only she can) and starts rambling that Roman should just save the city some expense and shoot Lucas now (LOL) or tell them Lucas was trying to escape...heck, why not just shoot Kate too being she wouldn't collaborate her story and she killed Cassie anyway. Kate tells Sami to SHUT UP, she couldn't do that. She tells them that Lucas confessed and he comes back with DID NOT. He says he was just guilty of being stupid by carrying about the women he loves (note that's women, not woman), but Sami doesn't pick up on that, just that he killed Abe to keep his mom's past secret. Lucas explains he was watching Sami and she had planted something in Kate's office and then took a piece of paper that fell on the floor into her purse. He followed her there to the Salem Inn and knew she was going to try and frame his mom (and the costume store's in the lobby for the mask, knife and sweatshirt?) Roman orders Sami to open her purse and dump it on the table. Sami reluctantly empties her purse and the list of victims names falls out. Lucas tells Roman, that's it. Roman sees what it is (no gloves of course) and hands it to Kate (also not wearing gloves) to look at. Roman tells Sami she has some explaining to do. Lucas figures Sami printed that out on Kate's computer and printed it out there. Lucas knows that Sami was just trying to frame his mother. Roman can't believe this and Kate tells the little bitch this is just evil! Sami can't believe Roman would believe these lies and knows Kate and Lucas are guilty. Roman tells Lucas he was stupid for what he did and unfortunately there's no law about being stupid. There's a killer out there terrorizing his precinct and his family. Crouching down face to face he points his finger at him and says if he ever impersonates the killer again he will personally beat the hell out of him with his own hands. Does he understand what he's saying?? Lucas agrees. Roman tells Sami the paper in her purse speaks for itself as she tries to convince him Kate and Lucas is the killer. He tells her John's innocent then. She disagrees. He realizes Sami's only trying to use this crime spree to her own selfish advantage (aha, NOW he takes the smart pill!!) She vows John, Kate and Lucas are all guilty of destroying their family. Poor Roman. He lets Lucas go as Sami rants about it. He tells her he should arrest her for breaking and entering too, but not going to press any charges tonight and to consider herself lucky. Kate thanks him. Roman tells Lucas he's responsible for any damages to the hotel and Lucas will write a check tonight for them. He asks him and Sami to please get out of his site before he changes his mind. Now alone again, Kate thanks Roman again. He reminds her that nothing's changed. She, Lucas and Sami are still suspects. He calls and cancels the squad car, saying it was a false alarm and to keep patrolling the area. Kate asks if he thinks Sami is guilty and he says of everything BUT murder. He doesn't think it's Lucas either as the killer is smart and what Lucas did tonight was idiotic. She just wants this all over and for them to be normal people and happy. He stands up and hugs her hard, saying it feels so good. She's worried about him, but he's sure he's going to clear her name and everyone will be safe.
Lucas and Sami bicker in the hallway about their actions that night (can't believe neither of them didn't get hurt after the way they fell down those hard stairs earlier!!!) She calls him on what he said earlier about the "women" he loves. He says he meant woman, his mom...what other woman is there? and leaves...
BLACK PENTHOUSE
John wants Belle to return to Paris immediately. She tells him how
Shawn leveled with her about Celeste's premonition. She knows Celeste
is never wrong, but has to be about this. John tells Belle about the
dip at Caroline's wake and what happened to her mom. She freaks a
little and understands why they didn't want her to return with him
being a suspect and mom in danger. He tells her Sami's a suspect and
how she's trying to break him and Marlena up. Belle knows Sami has to
be stopped. John figures the damage is already done. He tells her
about how Sami's coming after him and Kate with a vengence. John
confides even Bo, Hope and Roman are questioning his innocence. Belle
tells John she's strong and wants to be there for everyone. He begs
her to ignore all the rumors, but she can't promise that. She can't
dismiss Celeste's prediction as she's never wrong. She feels like she
walked through a looking glass when she got home.
Marlena and Shawn walk in and seeing Belle, Marlena flings her purse on the couch and rushes to hug Belle, knowing she shouldn't be there, but thrilled nonetheless. Belle missed everyone (looking at Shawn) and says she couldn't stay away any longer. Later she tells Marlena she's staying, so don't try to talk her out of it. Shawn tells John that Belle's not safe there, but John knows no one is safe (LOL, is he referring to Salemites or the cast?) They figure the message Bo got on his PDA about Roman may be to throw the PD off and to protect their commander, leaving everyone else vulnerable. John worries it may be Marlena who's next. They look at Belle and Marlena laughing on couch as Marlena turns to see their worried expressions. Shawn and John vow to keep their women safe. Belle knows they'll all be safe and pushes Shawn away to be alone with him. John crouches by Marlena and he assures her everything will be okay. Marlena gets a strange feeling of horror, like someone walked over her grave. Shawn tells Belle he's not leaving her side, even for a second. He'll be her bodyguard 24/7. She asks what about when they're sleeping and he tells her they're going to bed together...
ON THE NEXT DAYS OF OUR LIVES
Must be another of Bonnie's fantasys as we see her wearing a red slip and long white wig as she is straddled over Rex on the couch, moaning. He's smiling and has a santa hat on. He says "what do we do now Mrs. Lockhart??
Shawn and Belle are outside somewhere and he wants to know who this Pierre and Claude are. She admits to seeing both of them. He can't believe she lied to him. (they probably both work for BB and worked with them, c'mon Shawn!)..
Bo and Hope (who's hair is either a lot curlier or shorter) hug in their living room. He wants to focus on the holidays and get in that holiday spirit. She tells him she always feels it when she's in his arms....as we see the hockey mask's image over the picture of their front door as the credits roll....

Christmas cheer is in the air, as Bo & Hope host a tree decorating party at their home, Bonnie is busy at her Christmas tree lot on Main St., & Jan skulks everywhere.
MICKEY IS EATING ALONE, then gets up, turns on the radio to hear "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and says aloud, I have to get out of here. He leaves. Shawn & Belle are in the hallway at the loft, kissing away, with Jan watching, of course. They go inside, where Belle sees a message on her machine. Tis Hope inviting them to the house for a decorating party. They decide to go get a tree, first. Jan follows. Over at the pub, Bo is sitting inside, going over the suspect list, whereabouts, etc on his laptop. Outside, Jen calls Hope, saying she is at the pub to pick up Abby, but Harold hasn't brought her from the skating rink yet. She will be there later. She tells Jen if she sees Bo, to drag him home. Jen talks to Jack's picture, asking how she is going to get thru thse Holidays. Back inside, Tek arrives, telling Bo that word on the street is that Roman is a walking dead man, and that in all probability, Bo will be next. He leaves, & Jen comes in. Abby arrives, and they all leave to go to the Brady home. Followed by a shadow
THE SCENE SHIFTS to a Christmas tree lot with Bonnie looking like Mrs. Hooker Claus in a long, platinum blonde, curly wig, Santa hat, and very low cut and short Santa outfit (she could get pneumonia! Lol). We see Max, her dog, with a red bow tie, and I think antlers on his head, barking at her (looks a bit like a larger version of Eddie, the dog on Frasier). She has a young, big, strong, "elf" trying to make out with her. LOL. Rex arrives, wanting some pointers from Mrs. L on making this a memorable Christmas. Cue Bonnie to have a fantasy of seducing shirtless Rex, (ala Mrs. Robinson & Dustin Hoffman, heheheh) as she tells him they can explore the North Pole, or maybe the South Pole, as that is infinitely more interesting. Back to reality, as Rex feels Mimi deserves something really nice, and he buys a lovely tree. Belle & Shawn arrive, with Jan spying, of course. Bonnie is happy to see her, & as they go to look around for a tree, Mrs. L spots Jan. She comments to herself "that b*tch, Jan, is back in town" (Sure a lot of cursing lately on Days....you'd think they would cool it during the Holiday period.....JMHO) & yells at her. Jan ignores her, so Bonnie starts towards her, just as Mimi arrives. Jan slips away. Mimi is appalled at her mom selling trees, then sees a tag that says U.S. Forestry Service, realizes her mom cut the trees from the nature preserve, and hollers at her about that being a felony.
Shawn returns, having chosen a tree, pays Bonnie, asking her to deliver it later. He will call her from his parents' house. As Bonnie is about to tell them about Jan, Mimi sees Belle, joyful at her return. Shawn & Belle leave, Mimi gives her mom a lecture about the sign claiming the tree profits go to charity, but Bonnie talks of the trees not selling that well, and perhaps she should have her helper shave them down to make pine boxes, with all the killings going on. Just then Mickey comes up, Bonnie is taken aback, Mimi is mortified, but he just wants to buy a tree for the children's wing at the hospital. Mimi leaves, Bonnie offers Mickey a seat, & egg nog. She spikes his cup (and hers, too) but Mickey questions the taste, saying because Maggie was in AA, he doesn't drink either, as a show of support for her. Bonnie lies, saying only spiked with love and kindness (Oh, brother!). She leaves Mickey (who clearly is feeling the liquor), to take care of a customer, Phyllis, a nurse at the hospital, who spots Mickey, poor man. Bonnie asks her if Viagra really works (oh, could she be any more crass?), & Phyllis assures her it does. Now Bonnie has a fantasy of seducing Mickey, but in the fantasy, he starts having a heart attack. Back to reality, Bonnie realizes she has to take things very slow, indeed…….one step at a time. Phyllis pays for the Douglas fir she picked out, Bonnie returns to Mickey. She promises to deliver the tree he picked out to the hospital, and he leaves.
AT THE LOFT Rex finishes decorating the tree, etc. just as Mimi arrives. She is overjoyed at the surprise. Rex appears, shirtless, lol, with a Santa hat (just like in Bonnie's fantasy), telling Mimi she has been a naughty girl. We later see them basking in the afterglow in bed.
AT THE BRADY HOME Hope, Gran & Zack are in the kitchen, decorating a gingerbread house & baking cookies. Hope calls Jen to check on her arrival. (see above) Lexie, Theo & Celeste arrive, amid lots of chatter. Bo, Jen & Abby arrive next. Uncle Mickey calls, saying he'll be over after he gets a tree for the Children's wing. Jen tells him of the tree lot that the housekeeper, Mrs. Lockhart, is running. Outside, a person's shadow shows against the door. Inside, all are merry. Jen & Lexie talk of their husbands being there with them, always. Bo gets the lights going on the tree, as everyone pitches in with getting the ornaments on. Belle & Shawn arrive outside, with Shawn questioning Belle about Pierre & Claude, the names Mimi mentioned to her earlier. Belle teases Shawn about seeing them in Europe, being she was so lonely, then gets a bit ticked that Shawn did not trust her. She brings up honesty, the whole thing with Jan when Shawn was not honest with her, (& yes, Jan has followed, listening to every word). She finally shows Shawn a picture of an elderly man, Pierre, friend of her dad's, with his dog, Claude. They are laughing & horsing around. Jan leaves, but someone else is watching. Belle is laughing, when she suddenly feels they are being watched. They go check, see footprints in the snow, leading into the woods. Shawn brushes it off, saying they could belong to anyone. They go inside.
The tree gets lit, everyone is babbling away, the doorbell rings, & Bo answers it, only to find a pkg on the stoop. He picks it up to take inside, and it is ticking. He yells to Hope they have a bomb. Everyone rushes outside as Bo pushes the pkg into the kitchen sink full of water. Just then Hope brings a note she found outside, that was left with the pkg from a neighbor, saying the mailman had left it with them. (Oh, c'mon…..if the neighbor rang the bell, the neighbor would stay 2 seconds to hand it to him in person…..what a stupid thing). Mickey has arrived, learning of the bomb scare. Bo & Hope come outside telling of the mistake, and showing everyone the lovely Swiss clock that Doug & Julie had sent, which is now ruined. Alice asks what that noise is……tis Bo's PDA. Message from the killer. We see a skeleton head, wearing a Santa hat, with the message…."Death Never Takes a Holiday". And the previews …
Roman to Sami &endash; We gotta catch this b*st*rd & I'm the bait that's gonna reel him in
Nicole to Brady &endash; Ever heard the expression "Love the one you're with?" Might as well have fun while you wait….as she drops her top saying, oops.
Belle to Shawn, as they make out &endash; Never let go of me. Shawn replies he will be with her all night.
Sami (to herself)….They ought to rename this place Murder Alley…..as suddenly Hockey Mask person appears with arm raised as Sami screams………and the credits roll.

Summary: Nicole tempts Brady yet again (and once again he turns her down)…Belle and Shawn spend a romantic evening together, but have a visitor and are being stalked unaware…Roman has a close encounter with the killer…Sami and Lucas spar and once again, she comes face to face with the killer…but this time she isn't scared…believing it to be Lucas (Now I see why they dressed him up as the killer the other day)…
At the Kirakis Mansion…
Brady is wrapping gifts, thinking Chloe. He puts in the cd he made
for her and plays their duet of Silent Night. He writes her a letter,
telling her how much he misses her and hopes to see her soon. All the
while Nicole is watching him and undressing. She walks in to the
living room in a black teddy, offering him a drink. With her back to
him, she breaks one of the straps on the teddy and asks him to fix
it. He turns her down, saying he is in love with Chloe. Facing him,
she releases the teddy and says "oops" . LOL at his line of sight. He
offers his jacket, but she teases and taunts him. But he is a
gentleman and makes her turn around while he helps her pin the straps
back on. She tells him if he gets lonely, he knows where to find her
as she comes on strong. Victor walks up behind them barking "DAMMIT
Nicole…he does NOT want you…leave him alone!" Victor
apologizes for her behavior and rushes Brady out the door as he chews
her out. He grabs her by the arm and shakes her around, telling her
that Brady is in love with Chloe and to give it up. She vows to get
Brady too hot to resist her. Victor picks up the phone and calls
Chloe (in front of Nicole) and talks about her coming home. He
informs her that his jet is at her disposal. Nicole struggles with
him, trying to grab the phone away, but he twists her arm around her
back. In the foyer, Brady thinks it could be years before he and
Chloe are together, but vows to be faithful to her. In the other
room, Nicole is forced to listen as Nicole promises Victor she is
coming home soon.
At the Loft…
Belle and Shawn return from his folks' house (shadowed by Jan).
Inside they talk about the events of the evening as Jan plots in the
hallway. Shawn just wants to keep Belle safe as they sit on the sofa
and smooch. Belle has a gift for Shawn (looks like black silk PJ's)
that she designed and he has a gift for her as well. It is a star
that looks like a snowman (with I LOVE YOU pinned on it). Belle has
flashbacks of the snowman they made. A guy delivers a Christmas tree
in the hall and Jan pays him. Later, she is in disguise (quick change
artist) and you cannot recognize her (she must have NOT gone to
Stefano's school of disguise). She has a beard and a squirrel hunting
cap (the kind with ear flaps) and some nerdy glasses. She knocks and
takes the tree in. They ask her to set it up in the corner, which she
is happy to do. When they talk to her, she only grunts. They continue
to smooch as she watches them. She not only sets up the tree, but
they even ask her to string the lights (whatsupwithat???) which she
gladly does. As she watches them, she has a fantasy of her and Shawn
by the tree where he gives her a HUGE diamond and asks her to marry
him. In the fantasy, Belle comes in ranting and Shawn calls her a
bitch and then he says he loves Jan and they kiss. Shawn pays the
"guy" (Jan) and he leaves, swiping the key to the loft on the way out
(it is conveniently there on the bar). Later, they snuggle on the
sofa and talk about whether the time is right to have sex. Shawn
decides to spend the night with her, but they are going to wait. They
trim the tree and put the snowman star on top and head
upstairs…to SLEEP. Jan sneaks in, hears a noise and hides behind
the tree. Shawn comes down in his black silk bottoms to get water.
Scared, Belle comes down too and they almost catch Jan. Shawn hurries
Belle back upstairs as he goes for his water. Jan steps out and he
sees her and goes to her and they kiss (yes, she is fantasizing). He
heads back upstairs and this time, she steps out from behind the tree
and reaches out to touch his shoulder…
Sami and Roman…
run into each other outside the pub. She has been shopping and they
talk as the killer watches from the shadows. (Yea, like no one would
notice someone in a hockey mask??? ) She begs her dad to be careful
as Roman eyes a poster about diamonds. Sami BEGS him not to give Kate
a ring for Christmas and is disgusted just thinking about it. Roman
pretty tells her it is a NYB and joins Kate in the pub as Sami
watches through the window. She goes in too and is greeted by her
grandpa Shawn as Lucas is there as well. He takes the opportunity to
tease Sami about getting a new step-mom for Christmas (LOL). Roman
goes to walk Kate to her car as she whispers to Lucas to keep an eye
on Sami. After they leave, Lucas says he would offer to buy Sami's
dinner, but is afraid she may just bite his head off. She scoffs at
him and says she is NOT Ozzy Osborne, even if he IS a chicken! (Gotta
love these 2 together…such chemistry. And you can sense how much
they enjoy themselves). Oh well, she accepts if he is buying.
Outside, Kate begs Roman not to go after the killer, she is worried
about him, but he assures her that he wants to stop this maniac to
protect the people he loves, especially her. The killer is watching
them from the shadows, holding his knife. She begs him to be careful
as he assures her that he has everything to live for. Inside, as Sami
and Lucas have dinner, they talk about their Christmas gifts for Will
and discover that BOTH of them bought him a DVD player and argue over
who will take theirs back. Will walks up and hears them, saying he
knows what is going on. Lucas puts his arm around Sami as they try to
make nice for Will, but Sami kicks Lucas and he slaps her across the
ass (ROFL at the look on her face). He asks them to stop fighting and
that the school counselor says he needs some stability in his life.
Grampa Shawn walks up and sends Will to the kitchen to fix him a
burger and lectures Sami and Lucas about getting along for Will's
sake. Lucas suggests they try to get along. Well that doesn't last
long…Sami sees the sales receipt for Lucas's DVD player and
learns he got a better deal, from the same store, which infuriates
her. She suggests they split the cost of his and she is going to take
hers back and get a full refund and chew out the sales person (that's
our Sami!) As she leaves, Lucas tells her to be careful, but she is
steaming mad. Will comes back and can't believe that Lucas let her go
alone. But Lucas assures him that his mom is tough and smart and will
be okay.
Meanwhile Roman goes by Bonnie's tree lot, while on the phone with Bo, swearing that he is okay. He feels someone is watching him and ducks around and catches someone in a black hooded sweatshirt and wrestles them to the ground. Yes, it is Kate…who is following him to make sure he is safe. Another cop walks up, asking if all is okay (Bo had him tailing Roman too). Roman gets mad and starts yelling for the killer to come after him as Kate puts her hands over her ears. Roman tells Kate he is taking her home this time and for her to stay there. He spots something behind the trees and pulls his gun, telling the killer to come out. The other cop distracts him (nice job guy) and the killer jumps out and stabs Roman with his knife and runs off. Kate rushes to him but he is okay, only cut his jacket. Roman tells the cop to take Kate home and he goes after the killer.
Sami walks through the alley, chuckling that they should rename it "Murder Alley" as the killer jumps out at her with his knife. Well, she thinks it is Lucas trying to scare her again (LOL). She kicks him and starts berating him, saying that routine is getting old. She mocks him saying "Ooooh, I am SO scared Lucas" and calls him a loser. He comes after him again and they end up on the ground in a struggle. She draws back to punch him…as the previews roll…
On the next DAYS OF OUR LIVES…
You can hear a police radio saying a 10-13 is in progress as Mimi asks Rex where he is going. He says he is going after Cassie's murdererer…
Max (Bonnie's dog) growls as she says she has the feeling that something bad is about to happen…
Shawn calls Belle, telling her to lock her door. She says it IS locked and she is safe, as we see Jan holding a hammer, saying "that's what YOU think"…

Summary: The killer is not selective who he goes after tomorrow as he scurries around Salem Place...Sami narrowly escapes as more suspects are eliminated. Sami and Lucas fans will love tomorrow's show as the two draw closer..
The show starts with Mimi and Rex lying in bed and talking about Cassie. He feels guilty he didn't protect Cassie. They hear sirens coming closer. Across the hall in Belle's loft we see Jan in a closet just before Shawn (wearing only boxers) and Belle (in her robe) come down from her room. She watches them make out and Shawn notices something in the closet as Belle gets some water out of the fridge.
SALEM PLACE
Lucas and Will are at the pub and head out to buy a tree. Lisa the
waitress tells them about Bonnie's lot and how all the profits go to
charity. Will suggests they get a tree for Sami too and Lucas
suggests he call Sami to see if she wants one. Roman joins Lucas
outside and tells him about his run in with the serial killer. Lucas
asks about Kate and Roman tells him he had her safely escorted to the
station where she's safe and this rules out the Roberts as suspects.
Will joins them and Roman tells his grandson he loves him (sniff) and
will see him later. Privately he vows the son of a bitch is done
killing people.
Bonnie can't believe how lucrative the Christmas tree business is and talks to Max about how nice it would be to move into Mickey's home. The lights and music start flickering and her time with Celeste must have given her vibes as she feels something bad's about to happen. The lights and music work right again, but Bonnie's still freaked. Lucas and Will join her and she comes on to both of them (love Will's expressions).
A replay of Sami giving the serial killer a hard time in the alley, thinking it's Lucas. She asks if he's wearing padding and "lifts" as he looks taller then usual (little clue here folks). His knife scratches her and she gets angry with him. Back outside the pub Will tells Lucas they never called Sami about a tree and Lucas pulls out his phone to call her. Sami answers her phone as the killer hides at first, then comes at her with the knife above her as she realizes what's going on. (at first she thinks Lucas rigged a phone message to confuse her, but then drops the phone realizing it's not Lucas in front of her as the killer comes at her tossing the knife from left to right hand (we've seen John Black do that from time to time) Lucas tried to call Sami back as Will joins him saying he found some mistletoe, but not a tree yet. Will explains to Lucas he's the only one who understands his mom. Will explains how he feels his mom is just insecure and the only man for her is him (Lucas). Lucas can't believe how well versed Will is on this and asks if he got that out of Grandma Marlena's office, haha.
Sami pleads with the serial killer saying she'll testify for him/her at their trial, etc. and as the killer darts at her with the knife. Sami somersaults (must have gone to the same class Tony did) out of the way. She grabs her phone and the killer starts coming at her and stabs at her as Roman calls out to her and rushes in as the killer runs away. Roman crouches and comforts his sobbing daughter. Roman has an officer take Sami back to the pub to have her cuts looked after. Sami pleads with Roman not to go after the killer (where are the rest of Salem PD?). He hears a noise in the alley and we see the killer come up behind him with the knife raised. Rex comes out we see the killer back off. Shawn comes out and verifies he was with Rex and they were just trying to help. Roman tells them what happened to Sami and the 3 of them go off together to look for him.
Bonnie rushes up to Lucas and Will telling them about a cop buying a tree from her that got called in as the serial killer was attacking some woman in an alley behind Salem Place. Lucas hands Bonnie money for his tree and asks she have it delivered to him (guess she must know where he lives, LOL) as he and Will rush off.
Hearing the sirens below his loft, Rex logs into the police dispatch and hears there's a 10-13 at Salem Place. He wants to get Cassie's killer and he and Mimi walk into Belle's loft dressed moments later. Shawn comes downstairs dressed as well (he heard the call on his scanner he had there) and Mimi comments it proves it's not Rex. Shawn acknowledges that but Rex stops Mimi from pushing an apology out of Shawn as the two guys leave and order Mimi and Belle to LOCK their door. Jan flashes back to see Mimi and Belle dressed for a prom (?) as they chuckle about Jan being quarantined in Europe by her mom and now Belle has Shawn back again. Jan vows to give them payback. She tries to sneak out as Belle and Mimi watch outside through the curtain. She drops her black bracelet on the floor before scooting back into the closet. They hear the killer is near a Christmas tree lot and Mimi rushes off alone to warn her mom. Jan is happy to have Belle by herself.
Lucas and Will join Sami and the officer in front of the pub and her hand is now bandaged. Will hugs his mom and asks if she's okay. She tells him she is and assures the officer she's fine with her son and his father as the officer leaves to return to Salem Place. Lucas asks Lisa for a glass of water (more like a stiff drink is needed). He asks Will to go upstairs to see Grandpa Shawn and promises they'll decorate the tree together (the 3 of them) in the morning. Sami tells Will she needs to talk to Lucas too and he finally agrees and goes upstairs for his sleep over. Sami can't stop crying (kudos to Ali, she cries so well) as she tells him she thought it was him trying to scare her again. He talks her into going home and will have Kate call him to give an update on Roman from the police station. Outside the pub she cries wondering if she's the next target and he looks into her eyes and tells her he's not going to let that happen. He puts his arm around her to take her home.
The lights and music finally go out at the lot as Max woofs at Bonnie. Thinking it's the old generator he barks at her as she chugs from her flask. She walks through the trees and bends down to get something as we see the killer peer around one of her trees watching her. The lights and music start flickering as she lights up a cigarette. Mim rushes up happy to see her mom's okay. She tells her about the killer being spotted and asks about the music and lights being warped. We see the killer pick up Bonnie's axe and holds it along with his knife.
Back in Belle's loft, Bell's alone but dressed now. While hiding, Jan helps herself to a piece of Parisian chocolate from a box Belle brought for Marlena for Christmas. Shawn calls and she tells him about Mimi being gone to warn her mother. He tells her to lock her door to be safe. Jan grabs a hammer and peeks through the closet, saying Belle's not safe. Belle flashes back to when she and Shawn saw the couples initials on the roof and how they all lost their loved one. She remembers telling him she was worried about loving him too much and might lose him. She flips through a magazine and jumps, dropping a mug on the floor as the teakettle starts whistling. She wonders where Mimi hid the broom and dustpan and slowly walks towards the closet.
Now home, Sami is in her nightgown (didn't see any cuts or scratches, hmmm) as Lucas gives her some warm milk and makes her get into bed. He talks about how bright their son is and how he got some of his traits, like being caring. She jokes a little about that until he reminds her what he did for her just now and asks if Kate called yet. She hadn't, so Lucas calls the station to inquire. He learns Roman's at the scene with other officers. He tells her she's safe and in a secure building. He'll lock the door when he leaves (how about sleeping on the couch Lucas?) He watches as she turns of the light. After tossing for a minute she decides to turn the light on again. She hears a noise and whispers for Lucas and rushes to the window and opens the curtains. Roman's hanging from a rope there and she runs to the door and a bloody Lucas falls in the room. The killer starts stabbing at her ..she's screaming and wakes up running out the door to go to Lucas'. She walks into Lucas' room and insists on sleeping with him as she's scared. He tells her to sleep on the floor, but she reminds him she's a 400 thread count type of girl (LOL) and crawls in and hogs the covers..he pulls back and she rolls over until they're face to face...looking into each others eyes...
Back at the tree lot, Mimi calls Rex and tells him where she is and they're safe, but needs his help with the generator. Max is barking like mad and Bonnie turns to see why. She sees the killer and shows Mimi. Mimi tells Rex and he tells Roman and Shawn as they rush that way as Roman calls in on his radio for a 10-13 at the Christmas tree lot. Max goes back inside his dog house and shuts the door (he's the smartest of the bunch, haha). The killer comes after Mimi and Bonnie (he'll attack anyone) as we see red through the killers mask as previews for tomorrow roll...

Lucas tells Sami if she wants serious, for her to come to bed with him tonight and be with him...
Jan comes at Belle waving the hammer as Belle is surprised to see her...
Rex attacks the serial killer and holds him from behind as we see Roman firing his gun at the killer...
