Tony plays Sami for a fool, Marlena pleads with John about hiring
Sami as Kate unknowingly helps get Sami a job, Nicole makes her
get-away, Bo and Hope fear for their safety.
At Tuscany
As Kate and Roman dance, he tries to encourage her about their
relationship, but she has more flashbacks about her dealings with
Stefano. (We don't see him, she is on the phone with him.) She
gets upset and grabs her purse and leaves. He catches up with her
in the parking lot as he comes on strong and they end up kissing.
They end up going back inside.
Meanwhile, at their table, Marlena works on John about hiring
Sami. He is dead set against it. He tells her that he would do
anything for her, except hire Sami at Basic Black, he does NOT
want her as an employee. She pleads with him but he doesn't even
want to talk about it. They talk about when Sami was younger, but
he says she changed and hates him now. She calls John a hypocrite
and reminds him how Brady behaved when he returned to Salem and
how John gave him a job and it turned him around. John says it
was different circumstances, but she continues to plead on Sami's
behalf. When Kate and Roman come back inside, Maggie points out
that John and Marlena are having a disagreement and asks them to
help out. Kate asks John to dance with her as Roman talks with
Marlena. John tells Kate about Marlena's request (but never tells
her who the job is for). Kate offers to help with the person and
show them the ropes. She says they can be her responsibility as
she thinks "just how difficult could this person be?" (LOL).
John finally gives in and agrees. At the table, Marlena tells
Roman about her request and he agrees with John and says it would
only end up causing stress between John and Marlena. (LOL as he
says that hurricanes could be named after their daughter).
Marlena finally agrees that Roman may be right and decides to
back off from pressuring John. John and Roman change partners as
John informs Marlena that he has thought it over and has decided
to give Sami that job after all. Kate overhears this (the first
mention of Sami's name) and almost busts a gut. The look on her
face is priceless.
At The Kiriakis Mansion
Brady questions Nicole about her delivery, but she doesn't tell
him anything. She peeks inside to see her money and plane ticket.
She heads inside, only to be met by Victor, who wants to know
what she has and demands that she hand it over. Brady comes in
and covers for her, saying it is receipts from the Blue Note that
he asked Nicole to look over. Victor lets her by as he and Brady
go into the den. Brady questions Victor as to why he locks Nicole
in her room and he tells him to mind his own business (as he has
flashbacks of the dirt he has on her). Victor says that if Nicole
is that miserable, she could just leave. And that she tries!
Upstairs, she packs her bags and tosses them out the window. With
one look around, she says "Nicole has left the building"
and climbs out the window. Later, Brady is looking for her and
asks Henderson where she is. Henderson notes how interested Brady
is in her whereabouts. Victor is in the den as Nico comes in and
whispers something in his ear, making him really angry. They rush
out the front door with Victor telling Brady to stay out of it.
Later, Brady goes to her room and sees the open window and says
it looks like the bird has flown the cage. We see a nervous
Nicole at the airport boarding her plane as the attendant tells
her that as soon as the luggage is loaded they will be taking off.
The announcement is made as Nicole quietly (prematurely)
celebrates. Nicole asks the lady beside her why they are not
moving and she doesn't know. She turns to find Victor there
asking if she really thought she could escape him. (GULP)
At The Brady House
Hope is getting ready for bed and realizes that Bo is missing.
She goes downstairs to look for him and he walks up behind her,
scaring her to death. He tells her that he was checking the locks
and assures her that everything is okay and that he will protect
them. They go back upstairs as we see a shadow lurking around
outside. In their room, they hear a noise downstairs and Bo grabs
his gun and tells her to stay upstairs with Zack. When he
returns, she grabs something and hides behind the door and almost
whacks him on the head. He informs her that it was a loose
shutter banging against the house. They talk about finding the
one who attacked them and them being safe. She mentions Larry
stalking her before and says she can't go through that again. Bo
tells her that they are putting their bounty hunting on hold for
now and that he has a friend that is looking for a security guard.
He says that will free up time for him to investigate their
attack. He tells her that as he looks for the culprit, she is to
keep an eye on Zack. That does not sit too well with Hope, who
says "EXCUSE ME??!!"
At DiMansion
Sami drops by to visit with Tony and welcome him home. She whines
to him about losing her job and how she wants a job at Basic
Black. She bad-mouths John (calling him a snake in the grass)
which amuses Tony. He offers to make her a loan, but she refuses.
He asks if she is sure about working there, for she will probably
be actually working for Kate. Sami says it could be a problem (calling
Kate a "bitch and a half") but is sure she can handle
it. But she is sure that John won't give her a job and talks
about breaking up John and Marlena as well as Roman and Kate. She
asks Tony for his help, could he maybe talk to John about it? He
promises to do so and thinks he may be able to help her. She hugs
him and thanks him (LOL at her expression as he holds on a little
too long/too tight and she pushes herself away from him.) After
she leaves, Tony chuckles as Bart comes in (who overheard the
conversation). He asks Tony how he is going to convince John to
give her a job. Tony says he isn't, he is only playing a game
with Sami. He is sure that John will break down and give her a
job, not being able to deny Marlena. Tony says that if he does,
Sami will be indebted to Tony (thinking he helped). If not, she
will come running to Tony to cry on his shoulder. He says it is a
win-win situation and that Sami is as good as his.
Sami returns to her apartment and takes out Will's photo album.
She takes out 2 pictures, one of John and Marlena and one of Kate
and Roman. She cuts Kate and John off and puts their pictures in
a glass bowl and sets them on fire. She says if they play with
fire, they will get burned. The show closes on Sami's face with
an evil grin.
Preview:
Bo and Hope argue about his being in danger. Kate asks John
"You're hiring SAMI?" as Roman asks "Are you sure
about this?" John replies "Yes, I think I am".
Lucas tells Belle that Sami will NEVER change. Belle defends her,
saying that Sami is going through a rough time. Lucas says "It's
about to get a lot rougher". Sami (in her car) says "I
will prove Lucas so wrong, I WILL get Brandon back" as she
looks up and screams.

As evening goes on in Salem, John won't change his mind on hiring
Sami, Bo and Hope argue about her helping him find their
attacker, Belle gives Sami an idea as to how to find Brandon, Abe
and Lexie hear from Brandon, and two Salemites get into a car
accident...
Abe Returns Home late from work and finds Lexie and Theo (the
baby is adorable and grown so much). Lexie hands their son to him
and Abe visits with his son as Lexie shows him what came in the
mail that day for him. It's a letter from Brandon marked to be
opened immediately. Abe laughs saying that Brandon's sending Theo
a wooden rocking horse and wanted to let them know a large box
will be showing up on their front porch (yeah, in Salem that
would be cause for alarm!) Abe's all a glow about his two sons
and with all that's going on at work, thankful for his happy home
life and having her and Theo to come home to. Later, after Theo's
back in bed, Abe tells Lexie that he'd tear apart anyone who
tried to hurt him with his bare hands. Lexie would do the same,
that's what parents are for, right? Abe tells her how he wasn't
there for Brandon and Paul Mendez was abusive to his son. He
wants him to have a good life now. Lexie figures Brandon's off to
a good start by staying clear of Sami. Abe said having Roman's
daughter marrying his son would have been something he would have
loved before. She suggests they call Brandon to thank him for his
gift and they do so, both on an extension. He identifies himself
to Brandon as his dad with a big smile on his face. They hope he
can deliver it in person, but we learn Brandon's going to help
children hurt in the war. Lexie agrees it's best for him to stay
as far away from Salem (and Sami) as possible.
Sami's Still Talking to her cut up pictures in her apartment
as the phone rings. A lady (you'll have to crank up the volume to
hear her) is calling on Brandon's behalf (kinda late at night to
call for legal issues, isn't it?). Sami demands to talk to
Brandon, but the lady informs her that he's not there, just
instructed her to call and see if she's signed the annulment
papers. Sami informs her she hadn't and won't, but is told to
expect a subpoena then and it'll be settled in court. She slams
the phone on the receiver and throwing the papers on the floor,
says it won't happen. DING DONG (she thinks it may be Brandon).
Nope, just Belle and Shawn. Belle asks if she's okay and Sami
hugs her, saying she'll never be okay again. Belle picks up the
papers on the floor and offers to put them on the table, but Sami
remembers the pictures of Kate and John she burned and keeps
Belle from seeing it. Belle had come for a wooden chest that her
great grandfather had made for her great grandmother for their
first anniversary and tells Shawn the story about how he made it
for her great grandmother to put the quilt he gave her in, she
had sold the quilt to buy him an anniversary present and Shawn
recognizes the story as that of the Magi, an everlasting love,
her favorite..hug hug (so Will's been using this family heirloom
as a toy chest?) Sami promised to clean his room while he was
gone and thought Belle would like it. Belle tells Shawn about how
embarrassed she used to be that her parents loved each other so
much they showed their affection in public. Sami can't stand
anymore and yells for Belle to stop. Sami apologizes to Belle and
Belle realizes they shouldn't have gone on like they had about
couples destined to be together. Sami insists on carrying the
chest and picks up the chest, backing out of the apartment with
it.saying she and Brandon are that way too, but Lucas walks up
behind her..saying for her not to hold her breath. In the hall he
looks pretty buff in his tank top! Belle goes back for the key
and suggests they separate Sami and Lucas and Shawn agrees. The
guys each take an end of the chest to carry (that Sami picked up
pretty easily on her own, haha) and say they'll take it
downstairs as Belle and Sami return to the apartment. Shawn
questions Lucas on Tony and Lucas levels he knows what Shawn is
doing and reminds him Hope is his cousin. Shawn asks about Rex
and Lucas agrees he's strange.
Belle and Sami talk. Belle tries to calm Sami saying she'll find
someone new. Sami knows Brandon is the one and Belle reminds her
that's what she said about Austin (LOL). Sami KNOWS that Brandon
is her soul mate. She knows if she gets close to him he'll
realize that. Belle knows how Sami can get hold of Brandon. Belle
knows Abe knows where Brandon is. She suggests Sami try to get
Abe to tell her where Brandon is or at least put a good word in
for her. She decides to go see Abe instead of calling him..figuring
he'll have a harder time turning her down that way.
Later they return upstairs and Lucas denies anything between him
and Sami except being Will's parents. Shawn uses the excuses
Sami's pulled about her bad childhood for her behavior, but Lucas
is tired of that excuse and doesn't buy it now. Lucas is harsh,
saying Sami will never change. She's responsible for Salem male
population leaving town, citing Austin and Brandon. He'd be gone
too if it weren't for Will. Sami walks out and overhears, blaming
his behavior on his mother. Sami said he and his witchy mother
will get what they both deserve and storms off. Lucas wonders
who'd wanta be with her and Belle whispers, hopefully Brandon.
Belle lashes out at Lucas for the way he's treating Sami,
reminding him Sami's got problems right now. He knows Sami won't
change and excuses himself saying goodnight. Belle hopes her idea
works and Lucas will eat his words. Shawn can't believe Sami
sucked her in and has to realize that she'll just get hurt
getting involved.
At Tuscany, Roman and Kate are surprised to learn John's
hiring Sami. John tells them that Kate's responsible for his
decision to hire Sami. He tells Roman and Marlena that Kate's
statement that nothing's more important then love hit home to him.
He's only agreeing to hire Sami because Marlena asked him to and
because he loves her so much. Kate asks for a moment, in private,
with John to discuss this and he agrees. Kate fumes he didn't
tell her Sami's name and he lets her know he's even taking her up
on being Sami's supervisor, LOL. She wants a way outta this, but
John won't go back on his word and knows she doesn't want Roman
disappointed either. She suggests they open a branch in outer
Mongolia and let Sami manage it. John knows Sami won't leave
Salem. Kate calls Sami a lying, manipulative bitch and John says
that lying, manipulative bitch will be working FOR Kate. If she
won't do it for him, do it for Roman.
Marlena and Roman sit, hoping Sami won't screw it up. Marlena
asks Roman to be more optimistic about this, saying Sami needs
that. They talk about how parents worry about their children and
Roman figures Sami's giving them much more to worry about then
they did their parents. She gives Roman her blessings about
moving on and with Kate. He tells her something about Kate's past
is blocking them from being together. She knows that and he asks
what. All she knows is something from Kate's past is haunting her
and to not push it. He refuses to let anyone or anything from
their past come between them.
The foursome is back together as Maggie delivers a tray of
champagne for them to toast with. She heard the good news, saying
word travels fast, and leaves them to their toast. Afterward,
everyone leaves, thanking Maggie. Roman gets a call to come back
to work. John offers her a ride, but she has her car. Marlena
promises to thank John properly at home and he wants to race for
their car ;-)
Hope Is Not happy about Bo's decision to find their attacker.
He rants how he had to watch the doctor try to start her heart
and say she's gone. He won't let that happen ever again. She
fires back that she's had to worry about him all these years and
won't let him do this alone. He grabs a blanket and walks out of
the room. Bo tries to get comfortable on the couch as Hope throws
a pillow off the bed upstairs..hitting a picture. She picks it up.
Neither of them can sleep and are restless. She comes half way
downstairs and he meets her in the middle. They try to talk and
figure talking's overrated (LOL) and he carries her upstairs (Hey,
remember the doctor told you two rabbits to lay off for a while).
Sami's Driving And Crying, determined to convince Abe to help
her. Kate is also driving, talking to herself about Sami working
at Basic Black. Sami looks down for a tissue and screams when she
looks back up. We see she hit another car and is okay herself,
but rushes to the other car to help. She pulls back the driver
from the steering wheel and sees it's Kate.
Preview:
Kate is telling Roman that tomorrow she's going to work with
Sami and feels like it's the beginning of the end. Sami rants at
Abe (apparently he's not going to help her) saying she hates both
of them and hopes they both go to Hell. Alice looks at Tom's
picture, asking if there's something he's trying to tell her.
Celeste is upset as Lexie tries to calm her, asking what's wrong.
Celeste says she doesn't want to upset them, but looking at Abe,
she says "you're going to die".

Both Alice & Celeste have disturbing dreams, while Sami is on
a rampage, blaming everyone she meets for the troubles in her
life.
A Replay Of Sami driving in her car, muttering
about wanting Brandon, and of Kate in her car, talking to herself.
Slam, bang, Sami rams into the back of Kate's car. She jumps out,
horrified to find the driver is Kate and is unconscious. She begs
Kate to wake up, as no one will believe that she did not do this
on purpose. Kate's eyes flutter open, and Sami immediately gets
on her case, accusing Kate of being a bad driver, and saying the
accident was all her fault. (Yeah, Sami, she backed right into
you). Kate tries to calm Sami down, to no avail. She says they
should exchange info, writing on a pad of paper, as both trade
insults back and forth, tho Kate is the calmer one.
In The Loft Shawn is moving the chest across the
floor to the spot where Belle wants it placed. When Shawn
complains of how hot it is there, Belle tells him to open a
window. He does, takes off his shirt in front of it, enjoying the
cool. Belle says "What a great chest". Shawn says
"Thank you" ROTFLMAO as Belle says I meant Great Gran's
chest. They throw pillows at each other, laughing and giggling.
They open the chest to find some of Will's baseball cards. When
Belle says she will take them to Sami tomorrow, and then find out
how it went with Sami trying to find Brandon, they get into an
argument. Shawn wants Belle to stay out of it, saying Sami is an
accident waiting to happen (you got that right, Shawn, see above).
Belle starts to open her mail, finding her lst bill, delighted
about it, and wants to pay it immediately. Shawn protests, lol,
that no one pays a bill when it arrives, and wants to see her
charge account. He comments on her extravagance with it, but
Belle loves her independence, says she is responsible person, has
a job, etc. So $96 at the hair salon is worth it. They talk about
Rex, Philip & Belle gets a bit defensive when his name comes
up, & again talks about her independence, & how they have
their separate lives, her at BB & he with his baseball &
job w/Uncle Mickey. (Hmmmm, neither one mentioned college,
interesting!) Shawn is then reluctant to tell her, but does
anyway, that he has sublet the apt. across the way, just to be
near her. He offers to cancel it, but she is happy about it. They
kiss.
In Her Darkened Bedroom Alice is knitting, looking around at
the photos of Bo & Hope, and the one of Tom beside her bed.
The photo of Tom Horton turns slightly and she asks Tom what he
is trying to tell her. (If that was me, I'd probably have jumped
out of my skin!). Then Alice hears the laughter of children,
coming from outside. She asks who is there. She goes to bed,
talking to Tom, asking him to keep the family safe, etc. as she
turns out the bedside lamp. We see her dreaming of the candle on
the downstairs mantle going out, Bo & Hope's picture falling
to the floor and breaking and she gets an awful look on her face.
She wakes up, very disturbed. She again hears children laughing,
and goes to the window, and we hear the children chanting that
old rhyme about Lizzie Borden, Lizzie Borden took an axe, and
gave her mother 40 whacks, and when she saw what she had done,
she gave her father 41.
Meanwhile, Celeste is tossing & turning in her sleep, clearly
upset with her dream, crying out, No, No. She sees herself in
black & white, sort of foggy area, looking at a flower
bedecked casket (in color). She is crying and sobbing, touching
the casket, and saying No, No. Celeste wakes up, startled, and
says this is an omen. She is very upset, as she begins to get
dressed, saying "I'm gonna lose someone I love".
At The Cop Shop Roman is working on some files, thinking of
Kate saying how Sami will come between them, and vowing he won't
let that happen. Kate comes rushing in, telling him about the
accident, ranting about Sami. She calms down, as Roman starts to
eat a donut, and she comments on him eating junk food. He says
she didn't always eat well, had hard times, and asks about them.
Kate flashes back to her younger, blond self talking to Stefano
on the phone, agreeing to do something for him, tho she clearly
doesn't want to. We hear her saying to herself that she can never
tell Roman about that, while aloud she talks about her sordid
affair with Bill Horton, how she degraded herself. Then she gets
weepy, as she mentions her bad choices with men, the mistakes.
She talks of abusive Curtis, who took her children from her, the
affair with Bill Horton, her relationship with Victor. They have
a heart to heart, with Roman reassuring her that he made his own
share of mistakes, never thought he'd find love again, but did
with her, and will always be there for her. Kate worries about
Sami, about working with her, how easy Belle is to work with, how
she wishes Philip could find someone like Belle. Roman thinks
perhaps Belle can ease things between Kate & Sami, and tells
her to think positively. They kiss.
Sami Arrives At The Carver House, determined to have Abe
help her. She sees and hears Abe & Lexie talking to Brandon,
rushes in, demanding the phone so she can talk to Brandon. She
gets a bit physical with Lexie, who quickly hangs up on Brandon.
Abe drags Sami away and she is begging him to help her, as her
family's friend, but screams at Lexie. She wants to talk to Abe
privately, claiming to know that if she could just have two
minutes talking to Brandon, it would be o.k. Abe refuses, and
tells her he will NOT help her get in touch with Brandon. She
goes berserk, rushing for the phone (assuming she wanted to use
redial last # called), and Abe has to physically hold her back,
telling her he will not help her, asking her to leave and finally
actually pushing her out the door. (Ali is awesome in all the
scenes today) She says she hates Abe & Lexie and hopes they
go to hell.
As Abe comforts Lexie, there is urgent knocking at the door. Abe
is not going to open it, but it is Celeste, who is crying and
nearly hysterical because of her premonition. She says you're
going to die, and tells them about her dream, how vivid it was.
Lexie tries to tell her it was just a nightmare, but Celeste is
adamant that someone I love is in great danger.
Outside, Sami sits in her car, fuming at Abe & Lexie, saying
it is all their fault. If not for them, Brandon would be hers,
and says aloud "I hope they both die". Freeze frame.
Preview:
Mimi to Rex, who is holding a brightly lit glass lamp or
candle, "What are you doing now?" with Rex saying he is
following Tony's good advice. Lexie to Tony about Sami, as they
open the door to her, "She's the reason I'm here, Tony. Kill
the witch for me". Marlena to John in the penthouse as she
rushes off, "I'm gonna find that girl and stop her before
she self destructs". Abe on phone, "Celeste is afraid
someone close to her is going to die". Celeste, "The
one in danger is someone that I love".

It's a new day in Salem as our shoppers hit Salem Place again (hurray).
The serial killer's first victim bites the dust today before Jack
and Abe get to talk to him; Marlena gives Sami the good news; a
new older Abby is seen for the first time today as we see a
nervous Jen worried about Jack and trying to deal with a pre-teen
daughter; Celeste continues her visions of a death of someone she
loves as Abe does everything in his power to prevent it.
Jack & Jen are at Java Café with Abby. Jack's excited
about his new big story and has to go look around the Dimera
grounds. Jen's nervous as Abby's getting coffee by herself, but
he tells her Abby's old enough and will be okay. He also assures
her caution is his middle name as he tells her he loves her and
heads off. To herself she says "reckless" is his middle
name. The NEW Abby (who's about 11 with long braids) brings the 3
mochas to the table (yum, pass one to me please being Jack's not
there). When asked, Jen tells Abby that Jack's off on a story.
Abby tells her daddy will be okay and has an angel on his
shoulder. She sees a friend with her mom shopping and asks to go
say hi. Jennifer tells her ok, still worried about Jack.
Celeste remembers her bad dream as Abe asks about it. She
tells him someone's in great danger and he asks if she thinks
it's Lexie. He believes in her premonitions and has a guard
assigned to protect Lexie. She blesses him for doing that.
John comes downstairs at the penthouse... asking if
there's a doctor in the house. Marlena's on the balcony in a blue
negligee serving breakfast as her way of saying thanks to him for
hiring Sami. Kissing her, he raves how it would be hard to beat
her thank you from last night. Later Marlena serves John a
whipped creamed covered strawberry to John at the table. The
phone rings and she hopes it's Sami so they can tell her the good
news about her job. It's Abe asking to use some of John's high
tech equipment to monitor Lexie. He tells him about Sami's visit
the night before and although he knows she's all talk, didn't
like his wife being verbally abused like that (Lexie was just as
guilty of that, but it was her house Sami came to I guess). John
apologizes and agrees to let him use whatever he needs. Marlena
walks in and he tells her it wasn't Sami, but Abraham worried
someone might try to kill Lexie. She understands Abe's concern
for wanting everything he can to protect her. Anxious to tell
Sami the good news, Marlena tries calling Sami's cellphone and
leaves a message to call Mama at home. She feels this is the
chance Sami needs to turn her life around. John knows Marlena
wants to tell her and will let her, but they head back to the
strawberries in the meantime.
Abe Calls Lexie on her cellphone and learns she's at
Tony's. Celeste grabs the phone and tells her to get home and
stay there. Lexie insists on going shopping and tells her to tell
Abe to relax. He asks Celeste to stay with Theo and she agrees.
Mimi wakes up and doesn't find Rex in bed with her. He had
stepped into the bathroom, but he'll delay his shower as he
crawls back into bed with her. They hear loud banging outside and
she tells him it's the garbage truck. He's glad as there's stuff
he wanted gone. He looks out and sees something that makes him
rush downstairs, telling Mimi to stay in bed. He finds Jack
noisily rummaging through his trash can. (I'd be upset too if
someone was doing that). Jack isn't phased, asking if Rex is
trying to cover up something and goes back to it, until Rex takes
a neck hold on him.
Lexie visits Tony at the mansion. Shortly after she
arrives, Sami does as well. Lexie answers the door with him, sees
Sami and tells Tony she's the reason she's here and asks him to
kill the witch for her. He asks Lexie for a few minutes alone
with Sami and she agrees. Sami tells him she hadn't heard about
the job yet (give the man a break Samantha) and how she ran into
Kate (literally) and doubts she'll get the job. Bart pops in,
saying it's hard not to eavesdrop in the spy business, LOL. Sami
leaves as Tony tells her to be patient. Bart asks if Tony thinks
he's going to get sexy Sami a job with BB. Tony tells him his
strategy about doing nothing and getting all the credit for it.
Lexie joins Tony and asks if he's heard about any threats against
her and Theo. He denies it and tells her about the accusations he
hurt Bo and Hope. He asks if she believes that. No, she knows he
was in a coma, but Bo and Hope are her and Abe's closest friends
and don't want them hurt. He asks about Sami and she tells him
about Sami's visit and threats the night before. Tony tells Lexie
that Sami is all words and no action. Bart interrupts again,
saying "my bad". Lexie leaves and Bart comments on how
wild it is that his sister is married to the police commander.
Mimi rushes in asking for their help, saying Rex is trying to
kill Jack Deveraux by the garbage can. They all rush to the scene
as Mimi tells Rex to let him go. He does and says what Jack was
doing. Tony asks Jack what he was looking for as Bart reaches for
his gun.
Back At Salem Place Abby is giving Jen an earful about the
gowns in the window as Jen reminds her that they're there
shopping for school clothes. Sami is also at Salem Place, still
fuming about how rotten her life is, and sees Abe at Java Café
sipping coffee. She walks away and Abe meets with someone (looks
like a snitch). Maggie stops by the table and says hi, asking
when he and Lexie will be home so she can drop off a present for
Theo. The snitch is uncomfortable being there and Abe asks Maggie
to call Lexie at home and says he's in the middle of something.
She agrees, trying to look at the guy, and walks off. Abe quietly
asks the snitch how he believes the information he's about to
give will bring down the Dimeras. Jen calls Abe, explaining she's
worried about Jack who's snooping over at the Dimeras. She asks
if he can send someone over there to make sure he's okay (doesn't
sound like Jen to me, she'd be over there with him after dropping
Abby off at the pub). Abe assures her that he'll go over himself
and tells the snitch to meet him back there in ‡ hr.
Jen runs into Lexie out front of the dress store. Lexie bought a
cute outfit for Theo on sale as Abby comes outside the store to
model the outfit (what, no bells and whistles or sales attendants
trailing her as she walks outside the store?) She's got a black
short skirt and a black and white stripe top that is shoulderless
on one side. Jen explains it sends the wrong message and to go
back and try something else on. Stomping away, saying might as
well get her a nuns habit, she goes inside as asked. Lexie tells
Jen she's just testing Jen, it's the age. Jen tells Lexie she's
worried about Jack. Abby rushes out, still wearing the same
outfit, but carrying a dress with small straps and form fitting.
Jen tells her no (hey, why not go inside and help her pick up
some appropriate outfits Jen before she gets accused of
shoplifting?) She brings out another unacceptable outfit and Jen
tells her she'll be in there in a minute. Abby stomps off. (note
she took her braids out in the dressing room and hair is hanging
long now).
Back At Dimansion, Tony tells Jack to scavenge all he
wants, they wouldn't be stupid enough to leave anything in the
garbage cans. Jack turns to do so, but Tony notes Rex's
anxiousness and changes his mind. Jack goes to the other can and
Rex jumps on him, telling him to leave like Tony said. Abe walks
up and Tony wants Jack arrested for trespassing. Jack knows he
was onto something and tells Abe as much. Tony orders Bart to
take the trash into the shed and Bart does so (after telling Jack
see if he watches his show anymore, LOL). (those toters must be
pretty light the way Bart's pulling them away). Tony quietly
tells Rex something Stefano taught him. If you have to destroy
incriminating evidence..you do it yourself. Abe meanwhile tells
Jack quietly that he's meeting someone with information about the
Dimeras at Salem Place. Why doesn't Jack meet him there. Jack
agrees and the two leave without another word.
Rex remembers Tony's advice and puts the shirt in a large glass
vial and pours some chemical on it to destroy it. Mimi walks in,
saying he's scaring her.
Sami Sits Impatiently At Salem Place and decides to call
her mom herself. She realizes she hadn't turned her cellphone on
and sees Marlena left a message. She calls her back and catches
Marlena with a mouthful of strawberry. She tells her.."hey
girly girl, you got the job at Basic Black" . Cute. Sami
jumps up with excitement and her purse falls on the ground. Sami
has tons of questions about the job and Marlena goes to hand the
phone to John to answer them. Sami claims she has another call,
and Marlena tells her to remember who's responsible for getting
her the job. Sami remembers asking for Tony's help, thinking it's
him. Marlena reminds her to thank that person (meaning John).
They return to breakfast and John tells Marlena about Sami's
visit to Abe. Marlena gets upset and rushes off to find "that
girl" and stop her before she self destructs.
Maggie sees the man Abe was talking to still by himself at Java
Cafe and stirs up conversation. She introduces herself and starts
giving him the 3rd degree. The snitch rushes off. Maggie walks up
to Jen and Lexie, asking where Abe is. She tells them she's
probably sticking her nose in where it didn't belong, but tells
them about what happened at Java CafÈ. She's looking for Abe as
the man looked terrified and he scared her. Jen and Lexie
exchange nervous looks and Lexie says it feels like someone
walking over her grave. Maggie tells her not to say that as her
mother said if she did, it will come true.
Back At The Carvers Celeste is reading a magazine and hears
the same voices she heard in her nightmare. She rushes up to
check on Theo and he was ok. She asks herself who her premonition
is for. All she knows is she loves the one in danger.
Abe & Jack Arrive At Salem Place as a woman shopper is
calling for the police. Abe identifies himself and sees the man
on the ground she's upset about. Abe checks, he's dead.
Sami Rushes Into Tony's Living Room saying his
name about 10 times and rushes into his arms, thanking him for
his help in her getting the job. She knows he's the one who
helped her get it and is eternally grateful. He kisses her on the
lips and she rushes out saying she has to buy a new wardrobe of
business clothes (love that plastic). Bart congratulates Tony on
his strategy. Tony tells Bart that Sami Brady is the key to the
destruction of all his enemies.
Preview:
Cassie visits Philip about getting his help to break up Shawn and
Belle. Philip breaks up a fight with Shawn and Rex, saying not
here. Caroline defends Marlena to Sami, saying hasn't she
suffered enough? Sami calls Marlena a whore. She tells her mother
to go back to Joe Millionairre to have his way with her. Marlena
tells Sami how dare she speak to her like that. Tony tells Bart
the best way to save his sister is to kill her husband. Abe looks
at a REST IN PEACE banner on a wreath.

More dynamic scenes with Sami as she confronts Caroline and
Marlena in the dress shop (kudos to all 3 actresses), the loft
gets painted (sort of), Nicole realizes what she has to do to be
free, and Tony decides it's time to make Lexie a widow.
At The Loft, Shawn and Belle are at her loft covering
everything with sheets. They comment about Mimi's absence most of
the time as she's with Rex and how she should be helping out with
the painting being she lives there too (guess quality alone time
doesn't count when it's work related, ha!).
Philip is outside the loft as Cassie joins him, wanting to help
him break up Shawn and Belle. Philip's got the paint and is
holding two paint rollers. Belle opens the door and finds Philip
and Cassie, who says she's there to help paint. She shashays over
to Shawn and starts flirting. Later she's botching up the tape
meant for masking and Belle tells her to go home. Cassie refuses
to leave and when Shawn and Philip go shirtless due to the heat,
wants to take her top off too (what there is of it). Rex follows
Mimi at Salem Place as she won't tell him where she's going. She
stopped for a Mocha at Salem Place and finally tells him she's on
the way to help paint the loft with Shawn and Belle and didn't
want him there fighting with Shawn. Rex wants to go, telling
himself a lesson he's learned from Tony, keep your friends close,
but your enemies closer. When they get to the loft, Shawn tells
Rex to leave, but he refuses to. Rex walks in asking what she's
doing and Shawn immediately asks Rex what he's doing there.
Saying he's been invited, unlike Shawn, who goes where he wasn't
asked to go. Mimi tells Rex they'll start upstairs and Shawn
mutters about Mimi ducking if the lights go out and Rex heads at
Shawn, who punches him. Philip unsuccessful tries to break it up
and the 3 of them are wrestling. (LOL, they've covered all the
furniture and counters with sheets, but there's still curtains
and pictures hanging on the wall, no one's taking them down or
spackled the nail holes..etc., but they're ready to paint!) Shawn
and Rex shout at each other as Mimi yells at them that they all
use to be friends. Belle tells Rex he's her brother and she loves
Shawn and they'll be family one day and to get along. (With Shawn
moving across the hall, is this DOOL's version of FRIENDS?) Belle
reminds Shawn how the feud affected their parents. Philip hands
Rex a roller saying everyone go to their corners and come out
painting, LOL. (Does Rex or Cassie know HOW to paint?) Mimi and
Rex go upstairs and Shawn apologizes to Belle. Philip and Cassie
watch them kissing and hugging.
Later Cassie and Philip are painting the brick (she calls it
urine color that Belle chose) and she splashes Philip with some
paint. Mimi and Rex come downstairs morose. Shawn and Belle (who
are standing in the kitchen, clean and tidy) say they need to do
something and Shawn announces the pizza will be there in 15 min.
and will show them how the oldies are done. He puts on a cd of
Ain't No Mountain High Enough and starts lip syncing it and
Belle, holding the paint brush as a microphone, joins in doing
the female part. Too cute. Everyone there is laughing and
enjoying it..even throwing pillows at each other..when a cell
phone rings. Cassie answers it (must be Philip's) and it's Kate
as the others are dancing in the background. She finally hands
the phone to Philip and he gets the 3rd degree where he is and
why is that tramp there. Cassie and Rex talk privately about
having to stay Dimeras.
Rex asks Shawn how he can afford a loft on his own. Shawn tells
him he has a roommate, not that it's Rex's business. Rex thinks
it's a great idea. Philip and Shawn wonder how Shawn will keep an
eye on Rex. Rex hugs Mimi saying by the end of the day he might
be Shawn Brady's best friend.
The Pub & Salem Place
Marlena's at the pub alone when Kate walks in and joins her. (This
is before she calls Philip). Marlena admits being concerned about
something and Kate asks if it's about Sami. We join them as
Marlena explains about the annulment papers and Sami's visit to
the Carvers. Kate mentions Sami's on the edge and Marlena admits
that and her job with Kate. Kate mentions BB is ground zero and
not the best place for Sami to be. (Nice to see these two friends
discuss a problem like friends would).
Sami's shopping at Salem Place for her new business outfit. She
runs into Caroline who congratulates her on her job at BB and
kudos John for giving her the job. Sami bad mouths John and what
he did to their family. Caroline told her that's the past and get
over it, even Roman has forgiven them. Nope, Sami promises to
make both her mom and John pay, calling them rich, selfish
millionaires. Poor Caroline is trying to control her voice in the
middle of the dress shop as Sami continues trashing John and
Marlena. Caroline tries to diplomatically tell her sometimes our
hearts take over and make us do what we know is wrong. Marlena
loves John and the family accepts it. Sami bashes the family
which really raises Caroline's dander. She tells Sami that
Marlena has suffered enough without her own daughter putting her
down. Sami says Marlena is a whore, and Caroline is shocked,
saying DEAR GOD... and turns away. Sami quotes the bible about
though shall not commit adultery. Caroline tells her the bible
also talks about forgiveness. She can see she's upsetting her
grandmother when Caroline starts crying and apologizes, saying
she's now a changed person. Knowing that's only a line, Caroline
wishes it were true and suggests Sami call and she and grandpa
will go out for dinner. Caroline leaves the shop, clearly not in
the mood to shop now. To herself, Sami vows revenge.
Marlena walks in to hear Sami laughing (she had told the sales
gal she wants a dress that blood won't show on). Marlena is not
happy and asks Sami what she said to upset her grandmother. Sami
refers to Caroline as a "Pollyanna" who can't accept
reality. The two argue as Sami tells her what she said to
Caroline about Marlena being an adultress. Marlena reminds Sami
that Caroline probably took it personally (being she and Victor
slept together and Bo's their son for newbies). Sami gasps,
having forgotten that and feels bad she talked w/o thinking. Sami
accuses her mother of lying on her back for Joe Millionaire and a
cop's salary wasn't enough for her. Marlena tells her it wasn't
about money and she loves John (was John rich at the time she
fell in love with him? Didn't she think he was Roman and just a
cop?) She doesn't need his money, she's a career woman. She tells
Sami to grow up and remember her son. Don't blow this opportunity
at BB. She loves her daughter and begs her to make something of
her life. Sami solemnly tells her mom she'll do her best to make
her proud of her and will be nice to John. Marlena invites her
over for dinner, but Sami says she has other plans. Marlena
leaves, obviously still upset. The sales gal hands Sami a
beautiful (blood friendly) red jacket. Sami says it's perfect and
let the games begin. The sales gal said she thought it was for
work and Sami said that's where this game of Revenge will begin.
At DiMansion
Abe heads straight to Tony and tells him about his informant
being killed just before telling him something about the Dimera
organization. A bullet to the head was the method. Tony plays
innocent and asks Abe if he'd arrest his own brother in law. Tony
admits having no alibi after Abe left. Tony jokes about rushing
to shoot the guy at point blank range and get home before Abe.
Abe never mentioned the guy was shot at point blank range and
asks Tony how he knew that. Tony said he was just joking, but if
Abe isn't going to arrest him, to leave. Abe privately vows to
put Tony away for good. Later, Tony rants into the phone, wanting
something done NOW. Bart walks in. Tony tells him the best way to
save his sister is to kill her husband. Back at the cop shop,
Abe's officers deliver something to him, a wreath with the banner...
REST IN PEACE on it. They recognize it as a threat (can't pull
the wool over the SPuDS eyes, ha!)
Back At Salem Place
Victor walks up behind Kate talking to herself after hanging up
with Philip, joking she'll need a rubber room. She tells him who
their son is hanging out with and what she knows about their
relationship and (we don't hear it) about Sami. Victor said he'll
take care of Philip, she has her hands full with Sami. He warns
her not to let Sami ruin her life (with Roman) as she might not
get a second chance. She agrees, but determined to beat Sami at
her own game. Sami leaves the shop with her new jacket in a
plastic bag slung over her shoulder, confident in her victory.
At Kiriakis Mansion
Victor threatens to have Nicole arrested for Colin's murder if
she tries to escape him again. She was heading for Paris and
wished the plane had taken off on time. He threatens having
people around the world and she can't escape him. Next time she
tries he'll tell Brady she killed Colin and warns her to stay
away from him. Brady hears his name and pops in, asking what
Victor wants to tell him. (He sure lurks closeby in that big
house). [Happy birthday to Kyle Lowder (Brady) as his birthday
was yesterday, August 27th.] Nicole mentions she was out the
night before when he asks and Victor tells him she needs to be
alone sometimes, and Nicole replies.. like now, and walks out.
Alone Brady tries to find out what's wrong with Victor and Nicole
and Victor tells him to butt out. Some couples, citing "Bill
and Hillary" don't need others involved in their personal
business. Victor changes the subject to the music studio and they
leave to check on it. Later, Nicole returns and pours a drink for
herself. Brady walks in and she calls her drink a Colin Murphy
and tells him why..1 shot Irish Whiskey, 1 shot in the back and
the cops keep coming back. Brady wants to talk about her and
Victor and she allows him one question. He asks what that is and
she tells him to ask what the one good thing in her life is..he
does..and she tells him YOU. He's been her only bright spot all
summer, cue flashbacks of their day of fun. He asks if there's
anything he can do to help. She'd ask him to get her out of this
prison, but knows it's not possible. He suggests she get a
divorce, but she tells him that's not possible. He's worried
about the stress on his grandfather's heart. He heads down to the
recording studio and invites her to join him. He suggests she
leave the booze alone as it never helps. She toasts to widowhood,
saying if you want something done right, you have to do it
yourself, as a background of spider web fills the screen behind
her.
Preview:
Mimi tells Belle that it's really weird having their
boyfriends hate each other. Kate welcomes Sami (in her new jacket)
to BB. Sami looks nervous as she asks Kate if she's her, and Kate
replies, NEW BOSS. Abe tells Roman that his SOB Brother in Law
wants him dead
Abe's picture is taped to the REST IN PEACE banner and Tony
says, goodbye Abe.
