MONDAY, AUGUST 18, 2003

Brady and Nicole continue with their adventures, Belle, Philip
and Shawn continue with their snooping, with one of them getting
caught in the act, Sami and Lucas spend quality time together .
"Lumi" lovers don't want to miss this show, I'd say
about 75% of the show is devoted to them. They squabble, they
apologize, bake cookies, talk about their past, and we even see a
glimpse of John and Marlena on the conference room table via one
of Sami's flashbacks.
Brady & Nicole
are headed back to the mansion as she talks about how much fun
she had and wants to know when they can do it again. The talks
about how she feels claustrophobic in the mansion and never feels
free. She wishes she could go back and change her past (as she
has flashbacks of her days in porn with Paul and of shooting
Colin). Brady asks her what she means, but she clams up. She
doesn't want the day to end and tells him to keep driving, she
wants to take him somewhere. They end up at the park and play on
the sliding board, jump rope and play on the monkey bars with
some little girl who is there. The little girl has to leave and
Nicole asks where her parents are. She tells them that they are
probably home fighting and never come with her. Nicole promises
to play with her again. After she leaves, Brady tells her that
she will make a good mom someday, but Nicole says she and Victor
will never have any children. As she is looking at the monkey
bars, she imagines them as prison bars closing in on her. She is
then in prison (in an orange jumpsuit) with the guard telling her
that she will never get out of there. Brady notices something
wrong with her but she runs over to the swings and tells him to
push her higher and higher. Later, on the ride home, she thanks
him for the great day but dreads going back home. Brady asks her
why she and Victor stay together, but she won't say anything.
Sami & Lucas
arrive at her apartment to wait for the call from Will. Lucas had
gotten a letter from him and decides to let Sami read it with him.
But the doorbell rings as Sami rushes over to answer it. Lucas
reads about how Sami is supposed to bake cookies and send them to
camp but Will is sure that she will just go out and buy some, but
that's okay, that's just mom. Sami comes over and yes, he has a
box from the bakery. Lucas comments that Will is on to her. He
gives her a hard time about the star shaped cookies with the pink
sprinkles on them (NOT for boys) and tells her that they are
going to BAKE cookies. LOL as Lucas rummages through the kitchen
and finds out that Sami has no flour, chcolate chips, sugar OR
even any cookie sheets and she says she is such a bad mother.
Later, they have all the ingredients on the bar (Lucas even has
Alice's cookie recipe) and they are hard at work. Sami complains
as Lucas makes her do the stirring. As they work, they talk about
various things. She talks about when she was in the hospital and
had time to think about how she would have done things
differently. She talks about having a nightmare of a grown up
Will writing a book (like Mommy Dearest) and how all of Salem was
outraged at her. Lucas tells her that she IS a good mother, even
if she can't bake and they start goofing around and get into a
flour fight, with Sami getting the worst of it (her whole face
ends up white LOL). Lucas apologizes for the way he treated her
in the past, but how proud of Will he is and what a good kid he
is. They talks about Lucas's drinking and how Sami lied about
Austin being the father. Lucas says that he may have been a
better father if he had known the truth from the beginning. He
talks about how Sami tricked him and how insulted he was which
leads her to eventually apologize for hurting him and trying to
keep him from Will and tells him that he IS a good father. They
decide to shelve the conversation and get back to the cookies.
Later, they talk about all the bad things going on lately, Tony
getting stabbed, Lucas blowing that deal, Bo and Hope getting
attacked, etc. as Sami worries what the world will be like when
Will grows up and Lucas tells her to stop stressing about the
future. She tells him that Will is lucky to have him as a dad and
Lucas points out that she had a good father figure as well, John.
But Sami doesn't feel that way, saying that John ruined her life.
She admits that she only pretended to make peace with him for her
mom's sake, saying that he thinks he is God's gift to women and
how arrogant he is. She says that John was NEVER a father to her
and was hard on her and always compares her to his little "tinkerbelle".
Lucas asks if she is jealous of Belle, which she says she is not,
just that she will never measure up to her. She talks about
growing up around John and that Will, Eric and Roman are the only
ones that truly love her. Lucas asks about Marlena as Sami says
that she loves her in a "politically correct" way, but
knows she is jaded because of John always bad-mouthing her. She
has a short flashback of seeing them on the conference room table
"going at it like animals" as she says. Lucas advises
her to let go of this grudge against John, but she says she will
NEVER forget what he did to her family. Lucas says that his
childhood wasn't so great either, but they need to now take
responsibility for Will, so they agree to work together for his
sake. They remember the cookies in the oven and rush over to take
them out, declaring that they are perfect. Lucas points out that
together, they can accomplish great things. Sami takes joy in the
fact that she can bake cookies and her mother can't but Lucas
reminds her that she had help. They talk about Will some more as
Lucas talks about being happy with the little things in life,
like Will learning to tie his own shoes. Sami asks that if Lucas
is so happy with the little things, why did he hook up with the
richest, most powerful man in Salem. Lucas says he could ask her
the same question. But then the phone rings as both of them rush
over to answer it, sure it is Will calling.
At DiMansion
Belle, Philip and Shawn are shocked at what they found on Rex's
computer, but Belle is sure he couldn't have attacked Bo and Hope.
They hear a door slam and jump. Downstairs, it is Mimi and Rex
returning home from the hospital. (LOL at Mimi's shirt. It reads
"MIMI'S TRUCKSTOP", cute). Cassie comes out of the den,
wanting to speak to Rex privately, so Mimi heads upstairs. In the
den, she tells Rex that he is in MAJOR trouble. She tells him
about Abe questioning her at the hospital and point blank asks
him if he attacked the Bradys. She tells him about finding the
bloody pipe and how she cleaned it off (of course we have the
obligatory flashbacks as she is talking). He gets upset with her,
claiming he didn't do it and especially at her for believing that
he could have. Upstairs, the spy kids are panicking as "2-Me's"
and "1-Bart" encounter each other in the hall. He
prattles on about music and then tells her about having a feeling
that someone was in the house. Mimi opens the door and almost
goes in (with the 3 stooges just standing there, come on, at
least HIDE!) but Bart convinces Mimi to go with him to search the
house. Philip prints out Rex's 5-year plan and wants to search
for more info, trying to get Shawn and Belle to leave, which
leads to Shawn and Philip arguing again. Downstairs, Cassie fears
for Rex and what the police may think. He assures her that he
didn't attack them and that he is more focused on saving the
DiMera empire. Bart realizes that the security system was
tampered with and tells Mimi, Rex and Cassie. Upstairs, Philip
and Shawn argue as Belle is forced to break them up again. Shawn
wants Philip and Belle to go and distract Rex as HE searches the
computer, but Philip wants to be in charge (OY!) Cassie (being
the airhead she is) decides she needs a tan is going out to the
pool as Mimi goes to the kitchen to fix some snacks. Rex jumps
all over Bart for allowing the security system to be turned off
and vows that if there is anyone in this house, he will find them.
Belle is at the top of the stairs and hears this. She high-tails
it back to Rex's room and tells the guys. A few minutes later,
Cassie (in her silver shiny bikini) invites Rex out to the pool,
but he isn't interested. Philip and Belle sneak out the window
and climb down the trellis as Rex walks into his room and catches
Shawn red-handed on his computer. Outside, Cassie comes around
the house and sees Philip there. Belle is caught on the trellis
as Cassie asks what is going on? Freeze frame on Belle's panicked
face.
Preview:
Belle and Sami are in lounge chairs by the pool and have Cassie
serving them drinks (whatsupwithat???) Sami tells her to make a
drink for her big "sis". Cassie asks what would she
like as Sami says "Well, nothing VIRGIN". Victor tells
Nicole that she can crawl on her belly in a beautiful mansion OR
she can rot in a cold, damp prison for murdering Colin Murphy.
Marlena is leaning over Tony (still comatose) and whispering to
him "Stefano had a habit of rising from the ashes, do you
think YOU can do that?" as we see her hand on the plug.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 198, 2003

Will calls and talks to his parents, Brady and Nicole return home
and Nicole had a taste for freedom and wants more, Rex finds
Shawn and Belle and Philip have trouble escaping, Marlena has an
interesting one way conversation with Tony and Sami gets summoned
to the hospital board about swapping the Carver baby's test
results.
Nicole & Brady return from their day of fun. He
promises more days of fun, including "leaf peeping" in
the fall, to be greeted by Victor in the foyer. Nicole steps next
to Brady for support when Victor inquires as to where they've
been. Brady says he felt like a drive earlier and asked Nicole to
join him. Nicole complains all they talked about is business and
is that all they talk about as she goes upstairs. Brady asks
Victor if he'd like more children and Victor claims to love
children and the more the merrier (that's why he spends so much
quality time with Zack, his grandson).
Later Nicole joins Victor after he summoned her. He says cook
made fresh iced tea and she insists he pour them both fresh
glasses and he drinks part of hers, haha. He apologizes for the
way he's been acting and wants to repair their broken marriage.
She finds it hard to believe him, asking what he wants of her. He
tells her he wants her 24/7 at his beck and call until he can
believe her whoring days are over. Either she crawl on her belly
in a mansion or rot in a cold cell over killing Colin Murphy,
it's her choice. She rushes off and he tells himself he feels
better already.
Brady catches Nicole having a drink and happily tells her about
his earlier conversation with Victor. She figures Victor might
want other kids, just not with her as he hates her, saying he
doesn't know who his grandfather really is. She asks he stop
trying to fix things with her and Victor as there's no point. He
joins Victor who thanks him for his help, saying he's talked with
Nicole and hopes he'll have the wife he deserves.
Nicole remembers her conversation with Brady about wanting
freedom. She calls and makes an airline reservation out of the
country using the name Nicole Walker.
We Return To Sami & Lucas talking about their respective
relationships with Tony when Will calls. Sami answers the phone
and Lucas picks up the extension (so realistic, I love it) as
they both talk to him. A cute conversation as Will's happy to
hear his mom's voice after so long and Lucas tells him how Sami
is feeling so much better she made cookies for him. Lucas bites
into one (looks burnt on the bottom, LOL) raving about how good
it is. Will asks that they have a family dinner when he gets home.
As he and Sami look into each others eyes, Lucas says he likes
the idea, but says it's up to his mom. After the call they agree
the call went well. She thanks him for letting her take credit
for the cookies (cute scenes when they baked the cookies on
todays real air time). Lucas finds a man from the hospital in the
hallway delivering a summons to Sami, she's to appear at a
special meeting about her job. Sami joins them, saying "oh
no". She opens it, but can't read it and hands it to Lucas.
He sees the board wants to talk with her about her actions
swapping the Carver baby test files. He offers to help her by
putting in a good word for her, but she feels she has to take
responsibility for her own actions and goes to change (wow, the
summons is for RIGHT NOW?).
Marlena Walks Into Tony's hospital room, remembering the
conversation with Lucas about Sami wanting Tony's engagement ring.
She rants at the comatose Tony, saying "Damn you Tony Dimera".
She tells him she tried to accept him because of the twins, but
she knows he was trying to seduce her from her husband. That got
stopped, but they're still the twins parents so she guesses
she'll never be rid of him. She glares at him, saying she's going
to stop him from exposing Sami and reaches up to pull his life
support plug out. She tells him Stefano has a habit of rising
from the ashes, does he think he could do that too? She tells him
if she were a Dimera, he'd be dead now as she takes her hand off
the plug. She talks directly into his ear and says if he can
still hear her, not to hurt anyone in her family as there isn't a
life support system that's been invented that will save him.
Cassie (in her itsy bitsy teeny weenie green non-polka dot
bikini) is on her way to the pool (followed closely by Bart). She
runs into Philip who's looking for Belle, saying they stopped by
to see Mimi. Bart says he's checking out the security system, but
Cassie knows he's checking HER out, calling him a pervert (LOL).
Cassie tells Philip that she doesn't like Mimi or Belle,
suggesting he ditch Belle and join her at the pool. He agrees,
but runs back to unhook Belle from the trellis. Bart returns,
thinking he found the security problem. We find out he thinks the
wire to the system is loose (where Belle and Philip climbed down
the trellis) and points it out to the guard. Although WE see
Belle's head behind the bush 2 ft. away, Bart doesn't and after
seeing the wires are secure, heads off with the guard to check
something else out. Belle and Philip get up to leave and Bart's
cellphone that fell out of his jacket, starts ringing. They sneak
around it, but hide again when Bart and the guard return to
looking for it. He finds his phone.
Cassie sits by the pool and lotions herself up, picturing Philip
joining her and taking off his shirt until she snaps out of it,
realizing she can't think that way about her brothers!! She sees
an article about exploring your family tree and is happy with her
current lifestyle of endless credit cards. She leafs through the
magazine more and sees headline... GET A JOB GIRL and says NO!
dreaming of herself as a waitress serving Sami and Belle as she
spills Belle's Pina Colada on her and gets yelled at for it. Sami
literally "pops" into another chaise, saying excuse me,
asking for a non-virgin drink for her big sis. Sami spiels out
the ingredients for a "tie me to the bed post" drink,
asking if she (Cassie) is just slow or stupid when she doesn't
understand the drink's name and gives Sami a questionable look.
Sami admits to blabbing that Marlena (she and Belle's mother) is
not Cassie's. Mimi pops in (wearing a one piece red suit) and
tells Sami not to sweat it..they all know she herself would have
blabbed sooner or later and wants the same thing Belle's drinking.
They all yell for Cassie to hurry up..as she comes back to
present time, determined no one ever find out Roman and Kate are
her real parents. Cassie joins Bart and the guard..we see Philip
lying on Belle on the ground as he shushs her. Cassie saw someone
in the bushes and accuses Bart of taking pictures of her and
wants the film. She feels for it and he tells her it's only him
and he's only human, asking she stop (LOL). He tells her he's
only trying to resolve a security problem (the other guard is
smiling, going along with Bart, but clearly enjoying Steve
Blackwood's performance I think). Cassie leaves as do Bart and
the (smiling) guard.
Cassie returns to the pool and Belle and Philip joke about how
much lotion she's using. They talk about Shawn being jealous and
she assures Philip that he'll find someone he'll marry one day.
He knows who he wants, she's just not available. She asks what
he's talking about (oh palleez Belle, are you THAT STUPID??)
Cassie sees them in the bushes and manually turns on the
sprinklers, figuring it'll cool them off.
Rex Catches Shawn at his computer and demands an answer as to
what he was doing. Shawn tells him the lady at the front door
told him to wait there being Philip was out. Rex realizes Shawn
was hacking into his computer and asks for what. Shawn explains
how Rex got him hooked onto something (on line journaling?) and
needed more help with it. He got on line and found out something
strange and wants answers, now. Rex reminds Shawn that he's in
HIS house and no lady ever let him in his room. Shawn wants Rex
to explain what was in his on line diary. Rex threatens to charge
Shawn with breaking and entering. Shawn figures Salem PD will
take his word over Rex's being he's not exactly a Brady. Mimi
walks in saying he got that exactly wrong, as Rex turns and
stares at her. She does her spiel only Meems could about how half
of Salem is related in one way or another (LOL) and explains how
they're sorta cousins in law. Shawn said there's no way Rex could
be a Brady as Mimi and Rex exchange looks. Shawn tells Mimi that
Rex is a Dimera and not right for her. When he feels Rex is
responsible for his parents getting hurt, Mimi tells him that's
not possible. Rex says he'll handle this in his own way as he
realizes Shawn is right, the cops will believe him over Rex.
Sami, In White Pants suit and hair in ponytail, arrives at
the hospital and visits with Tony first (note no scarf today,
just a red line on her throat). Lucas, in suit and tie, asks
Marlena where Sami is. They chorus TONY at the same time and head
to his room. Sami tells Tony that she's blamed him for so much,
but would give anything if he'd wake up and save her now. At that
moment, Tony's eyes flutter and he comes out of his coma. Sami is
so happy she flings herself on him for a hug as Marlena and Lucas
walk in.
Preview:
Rex tells Shawn he won't get away with this and the two start
fighting as Cassie and Mimi try to break them up. Philip kisses
Belle in the car (she doesn't appear to be trying to stop him
either). Lucas tells Tony that he's suspecting of popping out of
his coma and bopping Bo and Hope on the head out of revenge. Bo
tells Hope he doesn't believe in coincidences and that Tony
showed up missing at the same time they were attacked.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20TH, 2003

Tony wakes up, Bo & Hope get good news along with a visit
from Jack & Jen, the Spy Kids fumble & bumble their way
out of trouble, while Sami gets the bad news.
At DiMansion, Rex & Shawn argue,as Rex has
ANOTHER long, b&w flashback to the events at the fashion show.
Mimi tries unsuccessfully to be the voice of reason, but Rex
shoves her aside. Shawn tells him to keep his hands off Mimi, his
argument is with him. As Cassie enters the room, the guys get
physical, the gals break it up, Mimi hustles Shawn off, and
Cassie questions Rex as to what is going on. Mimi returns to hear
part of their conversation, (she is outside the door) with Cassie
asking Rex what happened, and him saying he doesn't remember, but
then that there is nothing TO remember. I think Meems heard part
of the conversation about the blood on his arm. She turns sadly
away from the door.
Meanwhile, Belle & Philip are being soaked by the sprinklers
that Cassie turned on. Cassie, tho, did it to "cool off"
those peeping toms, Bart & the security guard, who emerge
sputtering from some shrubbery, where they were trying to check
the alarm wiring. Belle & Philip make it to the car, he
offers a sweatshirt in the back seat, but she is o.k, but worried
about Shawn. Phil assures her Shawn can take care of himself.
They talk of Mimi, how insecure she is, how she thinks she is so
lucky to have Rex, but never thinks that Rex is lucky to have HER.
Belle remarks how Mimi always thought they all were better than
her, how Mimi's dad left her mom years ago (really? Seems to me
he was there when the Habitat for Humanity house was built for
them... Junior year of high school), how Mimi's mom has had to
cope & Meems never invites Belle over to her house any more.
Philip gets the sweatshirt to help Belle dry off, and suddenly
gives Belle a big kiss. Belle doesn't resist, but as it ends, up
comes Shawn, wanting to know what is going on. The guilty pair
barely begin to babble, when clueless Shawn asks why they are wet.
They explain about the sprinklers, and he explains about not
being able to check that file as Rex came in (perhaps if you all
had not spent so much arguing, you'd have been more successful,
kids) and says that Rex has a huge anger problem, convincing
Shawn more than ever, that Rex is responsible for the attack on
his parents.
At The Hospital Bo & Hope are chatting away in her
room, as Jack & Jennifer arrive, looking like Santa, laden
with gifts. (Flowers, candy, books, P.J.s, magazines, etc.) Jen
mentions Caroline and Shawn having been there, Gran, too, and
that she had a mass said for them. They all talk of finding out
who attacked B&H, and Bo decides to get some water for the
flowers, with Jack offering to help, and they leave. (Real
subtle, guys! Lol) Hope inquires about Abby, who is back from
camp, but playing softball now. They chit chat, talking of Jack,
as Jen mentions how wonderful he is, and how the sex is just
great, and Jack would have a fit if he heard her say that. She
mentions Jack working on a big story, one he claims will earn him
a Pulitzer, and perhaps a job at the NY Times, but she worries
that he could be putting himself in great danger. She says Jack
loves investigative reporting, that talking of fashions and
cooking on the TV show is not his thing, but is more hers, but
that if he did get a job for the NY Times, whither thou goest,
etc.
Meanwhile, Bo is filling Jack in on the goop thing, how Tony
disappeared from the hospital at the exact same time B&H were
attacked. Jack is gonna work on this some more, and the guys
return to the room. Jack says B&H need their rest, so he
& Jen should leave. Bo & Hope talk about Tony, and how he
doesn't believe in co-incidences. Just then the doctor comes in
with good news. They can go home!
Back at their home, Jack is typing furiously on his computer, as
Jen comes in, warning him to be careful. Jack talks of having to
prove himself, while Jen assures him he has nothing to prove. He
loves that she thinks that about him, & then asks her to get
him, ah, she knows already, a triple cheeseburger deluxe with
spicy curly fries from Buddy's. Off she goes. Jack picks up the
phone, calling Mickey, telling him he wants to make some changes
in his will.
In Tony's Room, Sami is gushing over Tony waking up, as John
& Marlena arrive. Marlena doesn't look too happy with Sami,
who fills Tony in on getting her voice back, and how he was
injured, with Lucas joining in. Yakety yak. (So this guy wakes
from a coma, no one calls a doctor, huh? Oh, that's right, there
aren't any left, but c'mon, there are a few nurses.) Marlena
& Sami leave for her hearing (see below), and later, when the
hearing is taking a recess, John leaves to see Marlena. Lucas
takes this opportunity to fill Tony in on everything. The failure
to acquire the "substance", how Bo & Hope found out
about it, blew the place up, how they were attacked at the
fashion show, and how Tony was missing during that period of time.
The hearing convenes, with the Board Chairman commenting that
Victor is not there due to illness. (have to say that Sami looks
just lovely in a cream colored pin-striped pant suit, and Marlena
equally so in her white suit. ). The chairman talks of Sami
taking advantage of her position to change paternity results,
that Eugenia has already been terminated for her part, and that
it is against hospital policy. Sami makes speech, apologizing,
saying how she has never done this before while employed by this
hospital, that as a single parent she needs this job, and begs
for a 2nd chance. The board takes a recess. John arrives, and
talks to Marlena. She says she is thinking of asking the board to
perhaps give Sami a different job where she would not have
access, but John interrupts. (Sami is nearby, listening to every
word, naturally). He talks of holding Sami responsible, that
Marlena should step back and be objective as a board member, not
as a mother. He says he doesn't want to sound like the mean step-father
(boy, wait til you see Sami's expressions changing as she
eavesdrops) but that her actions warrant her being fired. The
hearing reconvenes, Sami is not allowed in. Lucas arrives, asking
the board for a minute, and gives a nice speech on Sami's behalf,
asking them to give her another chance.
Back in Tony's room, John comes in, with Tony chiding him on his
suspicions in re: Tony rising from his coma to attack B&H.
Sami comes in, starts yelling at John. She lets him know that she
heard him talking to her mother, that she has a son to support,
and if she gets fired, she is blaming him completely.(Yep, that's
our Sami, always someone else's fault - lol Then Marlena &
Lucas arrive, with the news that the board voted against Sami.
She asks her mother if she voted against her, too, and Marlena
says, yes I did, I'm sorry. Sami shoots a venomous look at John.
Preview:
Marlena telling Sami that Tony is trying to buy her affection,
why can't she see that and Sami retorting that Marlena is just
jealous, cuz she wants Tony to herself. Bo & Hope (both
with winter type caps on their heads, and jeez, it is summer) are
with Tony. Bo says they are gonna put Tony away for the rest of
his miserable life. Tony replies that it looks like a NEW Brady/DiMera
feud has begun. A flash of lightning, a big candle
flickers out, as Celeste says this is a very bad sign and the
camera shows Alice turning her head.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 21ST, 2003

Bo and Hope are released from the hospital, as is Tony, Sami is
having a REALLY bad day, first her job, now she gets word from
Brandon, and there are some strange goings-on over at Alice
Horton's house.
At Tuscany
Roman catches up with Kate (Maggie had called him). He wants to
talk, but Kate gives him the cold shoulder. She says that they
have too many problems between them, including Sami and Lucas's
involvement with the DiMeras. Roman thinks that Kate is being
negative with problems that don't even exist and suggests that
they handle it one thing at a time. He gets an SOS from Marlena (who
is at the hospital). She needs his help with Sami. Kate decides
to tag along (to check up on Lucas).
At The Hospital
There is a replay of Marlena telling Sami about losing her job.
She tells her that she voted against her, as well as voting proxy
for Victor against her as well. Sami explodes, blaming John for
turning her against her. They go into the hall as Sami rants at
Marlena, who tries to point out that she has no one to blame but
herself. In his room, Tony and John argue, with Tony siding with
Sami. John questions him about his involvement on the attack of
Bo and Hope and Tony says he did it, being facetious, saying that
the DiMeras are ALWAYS guilty until proven innocent. He asks John
what happened to their truce. He swears that he had nothing to do
with the attack and tells John to go to hell. In the hall, Sami
and Marlena continue to argue as Marlena tries to explain why she
did what she did. But Sami thinks John is responsible and blames
everyone for ganging up on her. Roman arrives and tries to
intervene. They both preach to her about her involvement with
Tony, but she defends him. They both swear that they are looking
out for her best interests and don't want to see her get hurt.
Sami accuses Marlena of being jealous of her and wanting Tony for
herself, leaving Marlena stunned. She chews Sami out, saying that
Tony has no morals or values. Marlena gets so upset, she just has
to walk off. Roman drags Sami out to the terrace for a private
talk.
Meanwhile, John runs into Kate in the hall (she is looking for
Lucas). In his room, Lucas is giving Tony an update on the deal
that fell through. Tony damns the Bradys for their involvement
and tells Lucas to get out. In the hall, Kate rakes Lucas over
the coals for working for Tony. Lucas doesn't want to hear it and
storms off. To himself, Tony says that like the Phoenix, he will
rise from the ashes stronger and deadlier than before. Kate goes
into Tony's room demanding that he fire Lucas. She says that once
you sell your soul to the DiMeras, there is no turning back. Tony
asks her what HER deep dark secret is. (Kate has a flashback of
herself (with blonde hair and wearing a red dress) on the phone
with Stefano. She is telling him that she needs the money to take
care of Lucas). In present time, she storms out of Tony's room.
Marlena explains to John that Roman is trying to talk to Sami. On
the terrace, Sami is blaming everyone else for her problems. She
says that her problems began when she walked in on John and
Marlena having sex. She just goes on and on as Roman tells her it
is time to move past that. She goes on to talk about how she
still loves Brandon and is sure that he will return for her.
Roman says that she will never be happy if she doesn't stop this
behavior. She is totally out of control now, practically telling
him that she hates everyone and that Eric is the only one who
loves her. She attacks his relationship with Kate, saying it is a
joke and suggesting that he should try to get back together with
Marlena and have a real family. He assures her that she is their
daughter and nothing will ever change that and that they love her
and that they ARE a family. They end up in a screaming fight with
her saying that Tony is her friend and that there is nothing that
he, John or Marlena can do to change that as she storms off. She
rushes straight to Tony's room to cry on his shoulder. He
supports her, telling her that she can do better than this job
and for her not to worry about her finances, he will help her.
The nurse comes in, telling him he is being released. To himself,
he thinks about how he is going to use Sami to bring down his
enemies.
Sami storms over to her desk to gather her things as John,
Marlena, Lucas, Kate and Roman are all gathered around and she
continues to rant at them. A nurse hands her a message and she
learns that she has a letter at her apartment from Brandon. She
is sure that he is coming back for her and excitedly rushes home.
Marlena tells John that she has a bad feeling about this as Lucas
rushes off after her. Kate and Roman go out on the terrace as he
talks about not being able to get through to Sami, or HER. He
professes his love to her and wants to know what has been
bothering her lately. But she won't tell him and only asks him to
hold her. Marlena worries about Sami but John says that she needs
to learn from her mistakes. She only wishes that there was
something that they could do to help. They talk about how she
turned to Tony and this concerns Marlena even more. She tells
John that she fears that the letter from Brandon is NOT what Sami
is expecting.
Sami rushes into her apartment and grabs the letter and rips it
open. As she begins to read it, her world seems to be crashing
around her as she faints dead away to the floor. Lucas comes
rushing in and helps her. When she comes to, she tells him that
it is annulment papers and she goes ballistic, saying that her
life is over.
Earlier At The Hospital
Tony isn't the only one going home today, Bo and Hope are also
preparing to leave. They talk about being attacked and Bo vows to
find the one responsible. They talk about the possibility of it
being Tony as Hope has a bad feeling (says it is like someone
walking over your grave). She feels that something bad is going
to happen as Bo holds her. Later, they are dressed (Bo has on a
toboggan and she has a scarf around her head). Maggie arrives and
explains that Mickey is with Alice and they are worried about her.
She has been having bad dreams and premonitions lately about Bo
and Hope. They decide to go by and visit, to prove that they are
okay. Later, Bo, Hope and Maggie all arrive (funny though, I
don't ever see Mickey) to find an addled Alice. She has a candle
burning as Maggie explains that she lit it when they were
attacked. She tells them that ever so often, the flame flickers
for no reason. Bo picks up Tom's picture (which is turned face
down) and Alice isn't sure how it got that way. She also notices
that the wedding picture of Bo and Hope is missing from the
mantle and asks what is going on here. Celeste drops by with a
donation check for the Horton Foundation. When she gets ready to
leave, Hope asks her about her psychic abilities and Celeste
explains that when she got out of the car she had a strange
sensation. They tell her about the candle and the photos and she
acts very strange. (Bo is telling Hope that this is silly) but
Celeste walks over to the candle and as she watches it, it goes
out. Celeste says it is a bad sign. Bo tries to explain it away,
but Alice isn't buying it as she has a cold chill. Maggie
relights the candle as Hope looks for the wedding photo. Bo
suggests to Hope that maybe Mrs. H's memory is getting a bit
shakey. John calls Bo and gives him the heads-up about Tony being
released. When he gets off the phone, he excuses himself without
telling them where he is going. Hope decides to follow him and
takes off as well. Celeste and Alice's bad feelings intensify.
Maggie finds the photo in a drawer, but Alice has no idea of how
it got there. Celeste and Alice both feel that Bo and Hope are in
danger.
Back At The Hospital
Bart is there to help Tony home and is wheeling him out in a
wheelchair. In the hall, Bo and Hope are there, with Bo telling
him that he isn't going anywhere. He rants at him, saying that he
knows he is responsible for their attack. He says he is going to
put him away forever. Tony says it looks like another Brady/DiMera
feud has begun. Hope tries to calm Bo down as Tony is wheeled
away. Bo says he is going to rip his heart out
Preview:
Bo says that Tony has declared war and it is going to be a
fight to the finish. Sami tells Marlena that she ruined her life
and as far as she is concerned, she has no parents anymore. Tony
tells Rex that they are not going to get away with it, he is not
going to let this go. Rex offers to help fight with him. Tony
says "2 DiMeras against the Bradys? They don't stand a
chance!"

It's nighttime in Salem as Nicole makes moves to leave Salem, the
usual crowd dines at Tuscany, Bo and Hope enjoy a quiet evening
at home until another omen occurs...and Tony returns home to a
warm reception.
At The Kiriakis Mansion Nicole calls her personal banker
for status on her savings. She's dismayed to learn how little she
has left, but instructs him to send it via messenger to the
estate and oh, tell him to stop by and pick up some airline
tickets in her name at Salem Place. The messenger should not ring
the bell as her husband is sick, she'll wait for him out front.
Naturally as soon as she hangs up, Brady asks where she's going.
She says she just wanted to get dressed up, but tells him she'll
miss him. She says she's leaving the Blue Note and this house and
Victor, not him and asks him to go away with her. He smiles,
asking how soon can they leave. The doorbell brings Nicole out of
her fantasy (had me going there). Victor walks in and Henderson
announces Commander Carver. Victors sure it's Nicole that Abe
needs to talk to. She remembers more about that night then he
does. He suggests she help put the cold blooded killer of Colin
Murphy behind bars. Flashback of her killing him as she denies
knowing anything. Victor happily has more to offer and he and Abe
leave the room. Abe returns and apologizes for making her
remember that night, saying Victor assured him they've told him
everything they know. He has to question the staff and will leave.
Brady goes out with him. Nicole tells Victor she knows he's
enjoying this and he reminds her he's in charge. It's either be
his wife 24/7 or be in the slammer. If she's a very good girl,
he'll destroy the evidence against her. She accepts and he goes
to opens champagne to celebrate. He leaves to get some and send
Abe on his way as Nicole tells herself after tonight she won't be
there, so she'll agree to anything.
Brady has a surprise for her. He takes her out back to a swing he
built himself for her. Anytime she needs to feel free, she can go
out back and swing. She asks him to push her as high as it will
go. She tells herself this is one thing she's really going to
miss. He assures her the swing will always be there as she tells
herself she can't tell him she's leaving town and rushes off..saying
coming down to earth is so hard. When they walk back to the
mansion the messenger asks if she's Nicole Walker. Brady stands
in front of her, asking who he is.
In Her apartment, Sami is still distraught over Brandon's
annulment papers. Lucas is being a sweety and insists she go to
dinner with him at Tuscany (yeah, only half the Brady's and
Horton's will probably be there which Sami doesn't need Lucas!).
She sees her face in the mirror and while he assures her she's
beautiful, jokes if you like the bride of Frankenstein look. She
hopes they don't run into anyone they know.
At Tuscany of course Marlena and John are dining there (how
do they eat so much Italian and stay so slim??). Roman and Kate
join them (watch out Sami, think you'd best go out for Chinese!!).
John asks how the case is going on Bo and Hope's attack, saying
now that Tony's out, he can attack anywhere. Sami spots the
foursome and wants to leave, but Lucas feels it's best to face
them now. They walk up to the table and a repeat performance from
the hospital about Marlena and John. Sami and Marlena step aside
and Sami tells her she's on her own now, doesn't have parents.
Minutes later the two talk calmly as Marlena offers Sami help in
getting a new job. She asks what Sami likes and she tells her
fashion. She enjoyed her job at Titan. She'd like a job like
Belle's and tells her mom how Belle has everything, two parents
that raised and loved her and a job at Basic Black. She feels
like there's never a place for her at the table. Marlena
disagrees, thinking it's a good idea. Marlena wishes she'd give
John a chance, but Sami knows that John's the one who ruined her
life.
Marlena and Kate are in the powder room talking about Sami. They
both feel Tony will hurt Sami. Marlena asks about the kippers
that Stefano left her in the will. Kate explains it was a dark
period in her past and wants to forget it. She strongly suggests
Marlena keep Sami away from the Dimeras or it will haunt her for
life as it has her.
Lucas and Kate talk privately as she encourages him to cut ties
with Sami. He refuses, saying Sami is Will's mother. Now at their
own table, Sami and Lucas remember how Brandon was in love with
her in Italy. They rehash what happened there with the Will doll.
Lucas sincerely apologizes for what he and Kate did to her there
and asks for her forgiveness. She's speechless. He apologizes for
everything he's done to her in the past and says she's partly at
fault too. He just wants to move forward and forget the past, but
she feels that's impossible. She doesn't want to argue with him
tonight, she's gone through enough losing her job and man she
loves today, and asks if he can just take her home. He agrees and
they head to leave as Marlena and Kate return from the powder
room. Sami said she can't stay with John there (but if he offered
her a job, would she take it?)
Kate and Roman dance slowly as they talk about Sami. As much as
she loves him, they'll never agree about Sami. She knows the same
is true with him and Lucas. Marlena has an idea that she proposes
to John. She asks him to offer Sami a job at Basic Black. He
laughs and says, no way. She asks why. He knows Kate wouldn't
like it either. She tells him it's better Sami work for him then
Tony. John figures it's emotional blackmail.
Sami and Lucas return to her apartment. He suggests she just sign
the papers and return them. She feels her life is over after she
does that. She throws him out, saying he's not really sorry for
her, and cries on the couch.
At Dimansion, Wantabe Dikids and Mimi decorate the house
for Tony's homecoming. Tony walks in and delighted with his warm
reception. Bart and Mimi watch as Tony is surrounded by Rex and
Cassie as they sit and have sherry and h'orderves on the couch.
He tells Cassie about Bo's accusations. Tony leaves and Cassie
insults Mimi's hair (making her walk away) and tells Rex about
what Tony said, afraid they're going to be found out with this
investigation. Mimi asks Rex what would happen if Tony found out
the truth, that he's not their father. He gets upset she brought
it up, demanding they'll always be Dimeras. Mimi thinks to
herself that maybe Rolf's death wasn't an accident and looks at
him differently. Honest Meems tells him how his mood swings
confuse her and he should tell Tony about, as Tony walks in. The
twins surround him with love and adoration (ugh) as he promises
to love and protect them forever. Cassie tells herself that Tony
can never learn the truth.
Tony gets a call and leaves the room as Mimi reminds them again
they're not Tony's kids. Cassie and Rex discuss how Stefano went
to so much trouble to bring them into the world and by right they
are Dimeras. Tony returns, saying he's going to have to
disinherit them. He was joking and said he's going to have to use
some money from their trust funds to replenish some losses and
hopes they don't mind. Mimi goes to call her mom. Rex talks to
Tony privately, saying he knows he lost the money because of Bo
and Hope. He offers to help fight them with Tony. Tony figures
with 2 Dimeras against the Brady's they can't lose.
At The Brady Home
Bo and Hope pick up Zack's toys while discussing their career
path. Bo's determined it's a fight to the finish with the Brady/Dimeras.
He's sure Tony (the weasel) will come after them again. They talk
about the eerie stuff at Gran's and when the phone rings, Bo said
it's the poltergeist calling (LOL). It's Cree (you know, the guy
who tied you up in he cave), calling to say thanks for the
generous donation from the Horton Foundation to find a cure. He's
thankful they stopped Dimera from using the substance to hurt
others. She tells him Tony's in the business of hurting people.
Cute scene as Hope brings Zack downstairs. He rushes to daddy (ahh)
and he asks if Mommy tickled him til he woke up. Bo holds his son
and tells him he'll keep him and his mom safe as the door blows
open. He rushes Zack into Hope's arms and stands in front of them.
No one is there, just the wind. He tells Hope not to say it,
there's no such thing as bad omens (don't think HE believes that
though). Later Hope calls out for Bo and he comes inside saying
there's no wind and no one outside..strange. He'll check it out
tomorrow. Hope's sure it's like Gran's. Bo wants to figure out
who attacked them, but will apply for a security guard job so
they can have enough to pay bills. Bo calls Caroline and they
agree to let Zack stay there with them at the pub (what's new?)
to make sure he's safe. Hope said his parents adore Zack and they
can visit him there. They go to bed, saying they have a long day
tomorrow. Bo turns out the light and we see a shadow of a person
outside the door while eerie music is played...
Preview:
Nicole pushes her suitcase out the window and looking back in the
room, says NICOLE HAS LEFT THE BUILDING. Bo comes up behind Hope
and she jumps in fright. She slaps his arm saying he scared her
half to death. Sami asks Tony if he'll talk to John about hiring
her, he replies "Most definitely". Marlena asks John to
give her (Sami) a job. Sami burns a picture of John in a glass
bowl, saying if John and Kate play with fire, they're going to
get burned as her face is in black and white and the only color
is her green eyes.
