MONDAY, JUNE 23TH, 2003

It's (FINALLY) a new day in Salem, Nicole puts her plan into
motion, as Brady keeps an eye on her, Cassie almost spills the
beans about Roman, Lucas is at Sami's bedside, as she has a
fantasy about him, Philip plans on using Shawn to bring down Maya.
At The Cop Shop
Kate shows up with coffee for Roman, wondering why he called her.
He tells her about Cassie's arrest and how he allowed her extra
phone calls, and that a couple of them were to Lucas. She isn't
quite as upset when she learns that Cassie never got Lucas and
worries about Lucas's involvement with Tony. They talk about how
both Rex and Cassie seem a bit odd. Rex shows up to visit with
Cassie, who complains about what a terrible night she had. She
becomes upset, begging him to tell her that Roman is NOT their
father, hoping he made a mistake. But he explains about the
luncheon and how he obtained DNA samples and how their DNA didn't
match Marlena's or Tony's but did match with Sami, which lead him
to Roman. He explains that Marlena was only a surrogate. Cassie
begins to cry, saying that they have no control of their lives
anymore and how she so wanted Tony to be their father. Rex
assures her that after testing he and she are full siblings. She
begs him not to leave her, for he is the only one she can count
on now. Later, she is taken to Roman's office and as she looks at
him she mutters "my father". Roman offers to call Tony
for her, but Rex just rants at Roman. Kate asks why she tried to
call Lucas but she starts crying and Rex demands that they both
just lay off. Roman warns him to calm down or he will be in a
cell next to hers. Cassie just wants to go home, but Roman tells
her that Marlena is on her way to take her to the arraignment.
But Cassie doesn't want Marlena there, telling them that Rex is
the only one she can count on now. Roman tells her that she can
trust Tony and Marlena, they are her parents, but Cassie just
cries and says NO. Rex wants to talk to her alone so Roman lets
them go to the outer office. Rex rails her out, telling her she
can never tell the truth. Kate watches through the window,
wondering what is going on between them. Roman says they are
always acting like they have some huge secret.
At The Kirakis Mansion
Victor is enjoying the morning paper as Brady comes down. Nicole
arrives and Brady takes his cue to leave. She complains to Victor
about being locked in her room. Victor tells her it could be
worse and as he leaves the room, tells her to put down the
croissant, it will make her fat. She storms off to the stables to
check on her "guest" as some brute (Russell) shows up.
It seems that he is the one Larry sent to help her. But he wants
payment first, so she hands him a little black bag with diamonds
in it. She tries to hurry him up as Brady walks in. She pretends
that he is the feed delivery guy and excuses him. But Brady is
suspicious and believes that she is having an affair. He asks her
why does she stay with Victor as she has a series of flashbacks
of arguing with Victor, his threats and him revealing that he has
the dirt on her. Brady keeps questioning her and accuses her of
being after Victor's money. They argue back and forth and Brady
accuses her of keeping too many secretes. He warns her that if
she is having an affair behind his grandfather's back, he WILL
tell Victor about it. Russell comes back after Brady leaves and
Russell comments that he doesn't like that guy and will "take
him out" for free if she wants. Later in the show, Brady
returns to the stables and finds the trough where Rolf's body was
full of ice and wonders what is going on.
At The Hospital
Lucas comes in to visit Sami (who is waking up). He tells her
that he loves her as he moves closer and she jumps and her eyes
fly open (yes, it was only a dream). She looks over to see he
really is in the room but he is sitting in a chair reading a book.
Tony comes in and they argue about why each of them are there and
about how each of them has to avoid Roman. Sami plays possum and
tries to hear what they are saying. They talk about the day of
the accident as you can see her lips tighten as she gets angrier
and angrier. Lucas worries about her waking up and finding them
there, but Tony is sure she is doped up and will be out for hours
(as Sami smiles). Tony instructs Lucas to go and check out what
Maya is up to with the diamond shipment (as Sami strains to
listen). Lucas doesn't want to leave, but finally does. After he
is gone, Tony turns to find Sami staring at him. He gets the
nurse, who in turn gets her a white board to write something.
Tony asks her if she needs anything and she turns it over and it
says "GO TO HELL!!!" Later, Lucas is sneaking around at
the docks and eaves drops on Maya and some guy talking about the
shipment of diamonds.
At The Brady Pub
Belle shows up to meet Shawn for breakfast, but he isn't there.
He is at Mickey's office to meet with Maya and give her papers to
sign. It seems that Mickey has decided to take her on as a client.
She raves about what a good lawyer Mickey Horton is (LOL). She
starts her usual inuendos and come-on's but Shawn tells her that
Mickey warned him not to trust her. Later, Shawn shows up at the
pub to meet with Belle and tells her where he was at.
Meanwhile, Philip and John meet up at the docks. (Why is it a new
day in Salem and the sun is shining everywhere, but it is dark at
the docks? Hmm). Oh well, John is not happy with Philip for
involving Belle the night before. But they go on to discuss what
Tony and Maya may be up to. Philip says that he may have an
"in" with Maya but may have to use his best friend to
get to her as he explains about Mickey taking her on as a client
and how Shawn is helping him. John thinks it's all too close to
Belle. He tells Philip to check it out, but keep Belle out of it.
Philip brings up the double standard, John doesn't want Belle
involved, but asks HIM to do surveillance on his father. John
pulls out papers, suggesting that Victor may be involved in the
smuggling ring, but Philip defends his father. John tells him
that he either works for the ISA OR he protects his father and to
decide. Philip begins to think that he was only recruited because
of his last name and is being used. He vows to prove his father
is innocent, BUT if he finds out he is involved, he WILL turn him
in.
Later, Philip goes to the pub and talks with Shawn about Maya.
Shawn thinks that Philip is after Belle. John also shows up and
sits with Belle as they talk about the party the night before.
After John leaves (and watches from outside), Philip goes to the
bar as Belle rejoins Shawn, who tells her that Philip keeps
talking about Maya. Belle goes to get coffee and asks Philip what
he is up to. Outside, John calls TEK and talks about not trusting
Philip. Belle chews Philip out about what happened the night
before and says that now she KNOWS he is up to something and is
determined to find out what, so just spill it, camera on Philip's
face as the previews roll.
Preview:
Vin Ramsel asks Bo if something tragic were to happen to him (Bo)
who would care? Bo says you just had you last chance. Lucas asks
Tony what he and Maya are planning to buy with all the diamonds.
Tony says "Eternity". Nicole (in a short dark wig)
turns to the camera and says "Showtime!".

TUESDAY, JUNE 24TH, 2003

A slow show today, as Nicole's plan to spring Larry unfolds,
Cassie goes home, Bo gets disturbing news about Vin Ramsell, and
Jack & Jennifer appear on In The House.
At The Brady Pub
Belle is once more questioning Phil on why he was spying on his
father's guests at the party, (NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, BELLE!) as
Philip tries to tell her that he is a Marine and he cannot tell
her. His cell phone rings, and he tells someone o.k., that there
is no dock 42, must be 32, and he leaves. Of course nosy Belle
has heard every word. Shawn comes in, and she tells him how
Philip's Marine outfit was all shipped out, but he was stationed
in Salem, and why? (Can I say again, NONE of your business,
Belle?) Shawn tells her of Cassie coming up to Lookout Point
& asking him to have sex w/her. Belle is furious, (&
WHERE were you, Belle?) and talks of her one sis in hospital and
how sorry she feels for her, but how she feels nothing for Cassie.
Shawn mentions Maya having an interest in him, and Belle wishes
people would leave them alone. She flashes back to Phil's
conversation on the phone of 5 minutes ago about the docks, (uh
oh) and takes off. Shawn follows her.
DiMansion
Cassie returns home w/Rex, finding Lucas wondering what was going
on, as he got a bunch of messages from her on his voice mail, but
did not know where she was. She cries on his convenient shoulder,
telling him she was in jail, as Tony walks in, wanting to know
what is going on. He erupts when he finds that she was arrested
for prostitution, as Cassie sugar coats her exploits, blaming
Roman Brady, and that she spent the night in jail. He will sue
the Salem PD for false arrest. Mimi arrives and Tony wants to
speak w/Rex alone. Meems goes for a drink in kitchen (knows her
way around the place pretty well, lol) as Tony tells Rex he wants
to use the diamond making laser, he has the resources to test it,
etc. Rex happily agrees, as in another room, Cassie, who never
learns a lesson, is coming on strong to Lucas and they are
kissing.
Tony leaves, Mimi returns, and Rex tells her of going into
business with his Dad. No, he is not going to tell Tony that he
is not his son, biology is not everything. Mimi asks if Rex still
plans to look for his mother, but he says he is a big boy,
doesn't need a mother, only her. Awwww. Lucas has meanwhile told
Tony that he followed Maya, she had 2 packages, and was sending
one to Cayman. Tony realizes a double cross is afoot, saying he
will take care of it. Later, Cassie is still kissing Lucas big
time, when his cell phone rings, it is the hospital calling, Sami
wants to see him. He rushes off.
In The House
Barry is telling Jack & Jennifer, who are in white karate
robes, that their guest is unable to come, he has pulled a muscle.
Jack gets an idea and rushes off. The show starts (don't get too
excited about finally seeing Jack & Jennifer, folks ñ as we
still don't get any honeymoon video or pics, lol) and Jack rushes
in yakking about sushi. He brings along a Japanese chef or
restaurant owner, and they all talk of sushi, which has rice, and
sashimi which is just plain raw fish. Some more yakking about the
hazards of raw fish, such as mercury, etc. while the chef
mentions beef and mad cow disease (Oh, Puleeze!) Jen won't eat
anything, and whispers to Jack that it is making her ill. Jack
bids adieu to the chef, who manages to throw in the restaurant
name, hours, etc. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Now they mention their original
absentee guest, Wong, who wrote a book called Wong is Right (rolling
eyes here) and is available in bookstores everywhere. LOL. Jen
decides to give Jack a couple lessons, grabs him in a surprise
headlock, and they kiss. A loonnng one. She next manages to throw
him down on the ground, falls on top of him, and we see on their
TV monitor them kissing on the floor.
Bo Is At The Police Station as Vin Ramsell is led away to a
cell. One of the cops tells him that Vin is turning state's
evidence against another "big fish" and will get off
with a very light sentence. Bo is livid. He goes toVin's cell and
they trade barbs back and forth. (Vin's hair is very slicked back
here). Vin rags on Bo about no longer being a cop, Bo talks to
Vin about family, they trade threats. MEANWHILE, Hope is having
tea with Alice, who has made a big batch of donuts. She tells her
of them selling the Fancy Face to finance their new business, how
she hates selling the boat, but how they do not want to touch her
trust fund, but maybe they could just take the interest and get a
small loan. Alice looks dejected, asks if her father has not
talked to her, but seems they are in Kenya visiting Uncle Bill,
and are on safari. (WHAT is with this facination Days has with
sending everyone to Africa??) The look on Alice's face gives Hope
the bad news. The stock market tumble took it's toll on her trust
fund, it is no more. She is broke. Alice offers to lend her the
money, but Hope refuses.
Bo arrives, & Hope tells him about the trust fund, while he
tells her about Vin getting off easy. They both promise to get
him again.
Larry Is Being Escorted into a squad car for his transfer to
another prison. (Thought they always used a prison van for this??)
He arouses the 2 cop's curiosity, as he keeps asking the time. We
then see Nicole, in a dark wig, big white hoop earings, saying
"Showtime". (She looks stunning, sort of reminding me
of Rita Moreno in West Side Story). As the cops drive along, one
says, "wow, that looks like a woman". They stop the
car, and there is Nicole, lying in the road. She "comes to",
seemingly a bit disoriented, claiming to have been walking along
the road, and that is all she remembers. She thinks she must have
been hit by a car. The cops make her stay still, go get a first
aid kit, and check her out. Meanwhile, Larry's goon has come with
big cutters to remove the handcuffs. Back to Nicole saying she is
o.k. and suddenly we hear big explosion. She says "Oh, my,
is that your car?" (ROTFL), the cops jump up and there is
another explosion. We next see them returning, saying they don't
know how they are gonna explain this, but not to worry, the gal
will back them up. Ooops, where is she? Aha, she is in back seat
of a car with Larry drooling all over her neck. He is so happy to
be free, and cannot wait to get Nik in the sack, but she says not
till he offs Victor.
Down On The Docks Phil is watching Maya & her contact
thru binoculars, and listening on headphones as she says she
wants to check the shipment one more time. He mutters that he
does, too, as he leaves. Surprise, here comes nosy Belle,
sneaking after Phil, and then we see Shawn, who takes one look at
the load of what looks like a lot of luggage dockside, and says
What are you two up to now?
Preview:

"Stepping up the search for my mother. I need DNA data from
ALL the caucasion women in Salem, age 36-55 and I need you to

The teens adventure continues as Belle follows Philip into danger
(again), Nicole hides Larry in the stable, Sami has some visitors
and Rex asks Meems for her help again.
DiMera Mansion
Cassie tells Tony she wants to sue the Salem PD for false arrest
and make Roman Brady pay! Tony tells her NO. She wants Tony to
make a promise to her that Roman will pay for locking her up for
the night. (does that girl own any summer outfit with shoulders
in it?) Proud to report that Tony lectures her about what she did
and won't tolerate that behavior, before bidding her good night.
Brady Pub
Marlena tells John that she is worried about Cassie and Sami. She
wonders why they both go to Tony and not her???
Hospital
Lucas goes to see Sami as requested, worried what's wrong. She
writes I NEED YOU and gives him a note, writing she wants him to
take it to Will. He reads the note after she says it's ok and
tells her of course Will can stay with him while she's in the
hospital but he tells her she's not going home to recuperate.
Lucas is worried Sami wouldn't be able to call 911 if she needed
help (she can dial it... they respond to address on the screen...
even if no one says anything Lucas, right Erin?? - my dispatcher
friend who also is a DOOL fan) Lucas asks Sami who'd take care of
her as Tony walks in saying he will. Sami writes GET OUT to Tony
and he refuses, taking partial blame for what happened, but tells
her she brought it on herself. Sami, clearly agitated, jumps up
on her bed wanting to get at Tony and Lucas goes over and tries
to calm her down, suggesting Tony leave. Tony decides he will,
saying he'll come back. Marlena arrives, telling him NO, he won't
come back! . Lucas assures her Tony is gone and she calms down,
frustrated she can't talk. In the hall Marlena tells Tony to stay
away from Sami. He's the reason she almost died. If she had her
wish, Tony would stay away from both her girls. Tony reminds
Marlena what her what Sami did to her fiancÈe and suggests she
check her own way of rearing children. Marlena stops, staying she
doesn't have the energy, interest or time to discuss this and
excuses herself. She walks into Sami's room as Lucas tells Sami
he'll keep Tony from seeing her if that's what she wants. Marlena
tells Lucas that Sami needs her rest and she'll stay with her.
Lucas is glad Marlena's there and leaves. Holding Sami's hand,
she promises to stay with her and take care of her. Sami looks
relieved as she looks at her mother. (Ali is great with her
facial expressions) Marlena wants Sami to come to the penthouse
to recuperate. Sami writes HOME on her white board. Marlena
doesn't think that's a good idea, esp. with Lucas across the
hall, but Sami adds a after HOME. Marlena finally agrees and Sami
smiles. Marlena knows Sami will need some help and hugs her
daughter, who smiles in thanks.
Later Sami's sleeping and dreams about Lucas. He tells her that
he loves her and wants her. She tells him she does want him and
he's the only one who's ever understood her. She asks him to make
love with her. Sami bolts up in bed when she wakes up from her
dream, LOL!
Back To DiMansion
Rex tells his recorder that his second generation laser will be
much better then the first and diamond experts won't be able to
tell the difference. Mimi joins him. She snuck through the
kitchen to get to him telling him how many people in the kitchen
she got past (the servants are multiplying in that house). He
needs her help in getting DNA data on every female in Salem
between 36-55 (oh PALEEZ, have you seen how big that city is?)
Mimi is grossed out thinking she'd have to sneak all over town
grabbing hair and nail samples from beauty parlors. Rex tells her
he only needs data and being she was a candy striper, he
remembers how people turned out for Chloe's blood drive, all
she'd have to do is get that info. (must run in Roman's genes to
his kids to want to steal hospital information, haha) He tells
her she won't be hurting anyone, just helping him. Kiss kiss. He
tells her he'll be eternally grateful if she helps him find out
who his biological mother is. She likes the sound of it and
rushes out to start her quest. He returns to his own project. Rex
has a long black and white flashback about his and Cassie's
encounters with Roman in the past up to the present time. He
wants to remain a DiMera and have nothing to do with Roman Brady.
Tony and Lucas return outside the mansion as Tony ponders why
Lucas is always with Sami when he goes to see her. Lucas tells
him he hates Sami, but she asked to see him. Tony looks in Lucas'
face, knowing he really doesn't hate Sami, as his cell rings.
It's John calling from the pub (he's been there for how long, yet
still looking at the menu?) saying he wants to see Tony. Tony
heads out by himself to see John.
While Tony's gone, Cassie helps herself to a drink, but stops
Mimi when she heads out. She asks Mimi about what might happen to
her and Mimi, in her own fashion, LOL, tells Cassie if she has to
serve community service, hopes she doesn't have to clean toilets
at Salem High (ROFLMAO) and how she learned her lesson doing THAT!
Being Rex loves Cassie, she wants to help her, and warns her the
longer she acts like a slut and shrew, the harder it will be to
change her rep. Cassie listens with wet eyes. Cassie agrees she's
mean to everyone and only Rex and Tony love her. If Tony realized
he wasn't her father, he wouldn't either. Cassie comments on how
Marlena is such a good mother and wished she knew who her real
mother was. Mimi tells her there may be a way and she and Rex are
looking for their mother. She walks out as Lucas walks in (love
the way they say HEY greeting each other in passing, LOL!!)
Having a pity party Cassie swigs her drink and Lucas joins her,
telling her how much Sami wants to leave the hospital. Cassie
appreciates how much time he spends there being he's such a
caring guy. He puts down his drink and kisses her.
Kiriakis Mansion
Brady tells Victor he's having a hard time adapting to a life of
leisure. He felt five years old when the maid drew his bath.
Victor tells him to just enjoy and stay for as long as he'd like.
Chloe's welcome to stay there if she takes a break from her tour
too (he probably told Cecelia not to give Chloe a break). Victor
misses having family there after Philip left and glad to have him.
Brady asks if his wife doesn't count as family. After all,
they're newlyweds and probably want to be alone. Victor tells him
that's not a problem and sees Nicole sneaking out of the house (now
in casual clothes) with blanket. He asks where she's going with
that and the paper sack she's carrying. She tells him she's going
to the stable to give her horse some apples. He tells her there
are grooms (where??) to do that. Saying it's one of the few
pleasures she has left, he agrees, saying not to be long as she
agrees and rushes out the door. He tells Brady he and Nicole are
committed to each other and enjoy a May/December marriage. She
doesn't golf with him and he doesn't ride with her. He figures
Brady being closer to Nicole's age will give her someone to talk
to. Brady doesn't figure he and Nicole have anything in common.
Kiriakis Stables
Earlier, Nicole brings Larry to his new quarters and suggests he
choose a stall. Not happy with his lodging, she doesn't give him
any other option. Larry isn't happy with just a couple of apples
she brought out later and doesn't want to make a place to stay
for himself in the barn. She reluctantly does it for him as he
jokes around. She rushes into the house and up the stairs as
Victor tells Brady that he and Nicole are together til death.
When Nicole doesn't answer his summons, Victor heads upstairs
after her. He didn't find her in their room, so goes to the barn
to look, (Larry's hiding) as Victor sees she's not there and
leaves. Larry pops up, saying if he had a gun the old bastard
would be dead already. Brady goes to his room and finds Nicole in
his shower, (guess the maid wasn't quick enough to run a bath for
HER, ha!)
Teen Spies
Nosy Belle follows Philip as he follows Maya. Of course she has
to pssssssst to him and he turns and frustrated she's following
him (should be more discreet on the phone around her Phil). He
tells her to sssh as he watches Maya opening a crate. Maya hears
a noise and drops the vial and it smashes on the floor. Phil and
Belle hide as Maya returns (locking the door) and taking another
box out of the box before pounding the lid down again. She slips
out, shutting the door and scurrying away.
Shawn's following Belle and snooping around the building by the
dock. He hears someone yell freeze and does so. The guy holds a
gun on him, asking what he'd doing there. Shawn tells him he's
looking for the shipping dept. to send his friend overseas his
guitar. Not seeing any guitar, the guy doesn't believe him. Shawn
turns and slugs the guy (one slug knocked the guy out, not bad
Brady!) grabs the guy's gun, drags him into a room and leaves.
Philip opens the lock as Belle wonders if the Marine's taught him
how to do that. He pulls out a vase (leaving the door open) as
Shawn sneaks up and peers in seeing Belle and Philip. They open a
box and find a bag of diamonds. Belle figures out Tony and Maya
are smuggling them. Philip asks Belle for a lipstick tube he can
use to scoop up some of the items in the vial with. He calls
John, discreetly not using names at least, reporting his find and
that he's not alone. Upset, John asks if it's Belle and Philip
answers "affirmative". John tells him to meet at their
rendezvous point in two hours. Philip quickly disconnects as they
hear a noise. It's not Shawn, but he also hides as he hears it
too. It's Maya returning. Shawn quickly calls Maya on her cell,
saying he's at the pub and wants to discuss her case (while
rolling his eyes up, LOL!), knowing she'll leave to see him. She
doesn't disappoint him and closes the door (Philip and Belle are
hiding behind the crate). As Maya rushes out, the guy Shawn
clobbered stops her saying there's an intruder. She wasn't happy
about the open door earlier, but has to rush to an appt., telling
him to take care of whomever it is. He opens the door to the room
Belle and Philip are in to investigate.
John hides behind a menu as Shawn and Maya enter the pub. Geez..they
walk into the pub and the guy just walked into the room where
Philip and Belle were (they're fast!!). John meets Tony out front
and shows him Maya and Shawn inside, knowing Tony's familiar with
her.
Back at the warehouse, Philip scoots away before the guy has
Belle stand up. He asks who she is and where the guy is who was
with her, as Philip clobbers him (the guy's head will be sore
tomorrow!!) and they take off, but into some other guy with a gun.
Preview:
John runs into Cassie and says "It's not about me, it's
also about your mother if she saw you dressed like that."
Cassie tells John she's not her mother. Maya and Shawn are at the
Blue Note I believe, she wants to help him forget all about Belle
(licking his finger), he asks Belle who??? The other thug asks
Belle if she's ever been with a man before sweetheart, as she
gulps. Nicole tells Brady to wait as they're both wrapped in
towels, until she drops hers for him.

THURSSDAY, JUNE 26TH, 2003

Nicole makes a play for Brady. After Lucas dumps her, Cassie
tries yet again to pick up a guy in a bar (will this girl NEVER
learn?). Shawn leads Maya on as the Spy Kids (aka Belle &
Philip) flee for their lives aboard the ship and she is forced to
strip YET AGAIN.
At The Kiriakis Mansion
Brady finds Nicole in his shower as he demands to know why she is
there and hands her a towel. He accuses her of throwing herself
at him. She scoffs, saying "the ego has landed". She
laughs at him, calling him "just a boy". But he demands
to know what is going on with her. She makes up a flimsy cover
story, saying she likes to sing in the shower and how Victor
can't stand it. She says she wanted him to hear her and maybe be
"discovered" as he new talent, now that Chloe has run
off (ouch). But Brady isn't buying a word of it and wants to know
what she is up to. He calls her mind sick and twisted and asks if
she has a thing for him. She opens her towel and drops it, giving
him a clear view. He puts her towel back around her with her
saying that it works for her most of the time. He says he isn't
buying her act, telling her that he believes she is a smart,
sensitive person and if she ever wants to talk, the offer still
stands. She almost opens up to him, but then tells him to forget
it and rushes off.Later, she rushes off to the stables (hair
still wet, but dressed now) and asks Larry what the HELL he
thinks he is doing. LOL as he says he is hanging out with Mr. Ed.
Supposedly she spied him wandering the estate through the window
and panicked. He starts complaining about living in the barn as
she is living in the mansion. Being true to his name, he tries to
ëwelch' on their deal and saying, he is out of there. She
threatens to call the feds, but he says he will turn her in as
well. He says he will stay, but only if she gives him a reason
and pulls her close. She pushes him away, saying she is NOT some
blonde bimbo who throws her body around to get what she wants. He
chuckles, saying she could have fooled him (me as well!). She
convinces him that he wants Victor dead as much as her. He needs
a gun and she says she is working on it. She informs him that
life in the mansion isn't all it's cracked up to be and quite
frankly, she would rather be in prison.Later, she goes back to
the mansion (and Brady's bathroom) to find him shaving. She
apologizes for her earlier behavior, blaming it on boredom. She
begs him to take her with him to the Blue Note for a night out.
He asks why does Victor intimidate her so much and why does she
let him. He promises to ask Victor on her behalf and see what he
can do.
At The Brady Pub
John and Tony are outside the pub (John asked him to meet him
there) as John asks about his relationship with Maya. Tony tries
to brush it off, saying she is a business associate. They see
Shawn and Maya through the window and John asks Tony just who is
playing who, his money is on the lady. Inside, Shawn is working
every angle on her and points out Belle's father, telling her
they can't be seen leaving together. He says that he is trying to
break it off with Belle and will in time. She promises to make
him forget all about Belle as he asks "Belle who?" She
suggests that they go somewhere more private, so they plan to
meet up later and she leaves. Outside, Tony introduces her to
John but she is in a hurry and rushes off. But as she leaves, she
tells Tony that she has that item he was dying to get his hands
on. Tony tries to convince John that it is all business and goes
to leave. John reminds him that his business, is also HIS
business. Shawn leaves as John stops him, asking what is going on.
But Shawn only tells him that he is doing a job for Mickey and is
doing this so Belle will be proud of him and he rushes off.
Later, Shawn and Maya meet up at the Blue Note and she gets a
call from Tony (see below). While she is on the phone, Shawn
calls Belle but leaves her a voice mail. Maya walks up and isn't
too happy to hear him tell Belle that he loves her. But he
quickly changes the subject and orders strawberries and chocolate
and feeds her at the table.
Over At DiMansion
Lucas and Cassie are in the den as she is all over him like a
cheap suit. She says that HE is the ONE, her first. But, Lucas
tells her no and pushes her away. He tells her that Tony has
warned him that she is off limits, but she keeps on. Lucas
suggests that she has a problem and should talk to her mother
about it (LOL) but she says she doesn't want a lecture from her.
She snaps that he has lost HIS chance and flounces off.She goes
to the pub and hooks up with some guy at the bar. (LOL, she
orders a margarita, but is served a Shirley Temple, much to her
dismay). They sit at a table and the flirting gets pretty heavy
as he shares his drinks with her. He suggests that they go back
to his place and go to leave (That girl will NEVER learn will
she?). John sees them and stops them in their tracks. Cassie
tries to slap him, but he is too quick for her. He tells her that
her mother would be so disappointed. Cassie blurts out that
Marlena wouldn't give a damn, she is NOT her mother (as John
stares at her).
In Rex's Room
He is taking notes in his recorder, happy that Tony has accepted
him as his son and so happy to be a DiMera. He talks to Mimi on
the phone (who has secured a spot at the hospital as a volunteer).
Tony comes by and wants to talk about the laser project and Rex
assures him that all is well. Tony talks about being so proud of
him and that he is his heir, a true DiMera, making Rex happy. He
asks Rex to join him and Lucas in the den to talk business.
Later, they explain Rex's invention to Lucas, who is impressed.
Tony calls Maya and asks if she has the item he needs and she
pulls a vial of something out of her purse and confirms it. He
wants it now, but she tells him that she is busy right now, later
(she is with Shawn). Tony explains to Rex and Lucas how this
invention will give him the advantage over Maya, and how he
believes she is playing both ends, he doesn't trust her. He says
that once she delivers what he needs, she is expendable, so he
plans on striking first. Rex asks just what she has that he wants
so badly. Tony won't tell them, only that it will blow their
minds, and will change their lives forever.
Spy Kids
On the boat, the goons hold Philip and Belle at gunpoint. They
try to talk their way out of it, but it doesn't work and the guys
think that they need to be taught a lesson. They demand to know
why they are on that boat or they will shoot Belle. One guy asks
who they are and Philip smarts off "Don't you recognize us,
we're Ben and J-Lo". They are NOT amused and Philip tells
them to check his wallet. They open it as it explodes (rolling
eyes here) with tear gas as he and Belle make their get away.
They rush into a room (with the guys on their tails) and try to
barricade the door. But they get in and a struggle ensues. They
finally get away, but not before Belle whacks her head on a crate
(LOL, as many blows she has had to the head, there has GOT to be
some damage there!) Anyway, they rush off again and Philip gets
the lipstick tube from her (with the sample in it). They end up
lost on board as Belle calls him (with the line of the day)
"Super-stud-secret-agent-double-0-Philip". They hear
voices as Philip convinces her that they have to strip and go out
the port hole and swim for shore. So for the second time, Belle
undresses in front of him (she says she can't believe she is
doing this, as neither can I) and they jump out into the water.
Preview:
Belle asks Philip just HOW her dad got messed up in HIS
undercover work. Some guy whacks Bo over the head with a baseball
bat and then tells Hope to drop the gun or "lover boy"
is history. Tony goes into Sami's hospital room and she panics.
She jumps out of the bed and runs out into the hall, right into
Lucas's arms. He tells her that she is safe now, as they begin to
kiss. (Hmmm, is this another fantasy, or does it REALLY happen?).

John brings the Spy Kids some clothes, Brady and Brady get a new
SUV and another case, but find themselves in danger this time,
Tony has a plan and best of all, Sami and Lucas get closer
outside of a dream!
The Pier
Belle and Philip safely swim to shore and pull themselves up on
the pier. He's breathing hard and she's not (who's the marine
here? haha). She wonders how they'll get home in what they're
wearing.
Brady Pub
We join Cassie and John when she tells him that Marlena's not her
mother. She figures he's relieved to hear that. (she doesn't
mention she's not his niece though which she would be if Tony was
her father) John figures she means because Marlena wasn't there
while she was growing up (gee, sounds like Sami, huh?) and she
grabs that as an excuse and runs with it, saying how Belle had
both her parents, yada yada. She also uses that excuse as to why
she's a freak. John makes her laugh saying she's trying to cram
19 years into 1 and she tells him she's a problem to the house of
Dimera. John laughs, saying the house of Dimera has had a lot
more problems before she came along. She laughs too. He tells her
how wonderful Marlena is and she agrees. He assures her Marlena
would have moved heaven and earth to find her and Rex had she
known about them and will move the world to help them now.
Telling her to focus on the present and know she knows who her
mother and father are now and will do anything for her. He
suggests they have a cup of coffee as his cell rings, it's Philip
(guess Philip's fanny pack is waterproof as his phone works
perfectly!!!). He tells John that he and Belle made if off of the
ship okay and John asks about Belle. Philip tells him his
daughter is okay too, which surprises Belle that he called her
father. Figuring they're in this together, she gets upset and
demands to speak with John. John tells Philip to give it up, he
won't win and he hands the phone to Belle. She tells John to
bring clothes to the pier as she doesn't have any clothes on (she's
wearing more than a bikini that she wore on the island all last
summer, what's the big deal?). I'm sure John figures she's naked
and not happy about the situation. She wants to know how her dad
got messed up in Philip's undercover work. John gives the
bartender some $$ and asks him to give Cassie some coffee and a
cab to ride home in. Changing his mind, John asks Cassie nicely
to take a cab to the hospital to see Marlena instead and tells
her she has a lot of people that care about her. She remembers
Rex's visit to her jail cell as she whines about the conditions
and her family.
Hospital
Marlena watches as Sami sleeps. We see Sami is dreaming that Tony
visits her, holding her hand, but then appears to be getting
forceful with her, she is afraid and runs out of the room into
Lucas' arms. He tells her she's safe now and they start kissing
passionately. Sami bolts awake again and finding her mom there,
is comforted by her as she tells her it was just a bad dream and
she's safe. She gives her sweetie girl some water and suggests
she write down what she dreamed or what's upsetting her. Sami
writes "Call Lucas, I see to see him right now".
The Laser Team
Tony tells Lucas that he'll take Rex's laser to his yacht and
leave the country before anyone even knows he's missing. Maya
won't know what hit her. Tony tells Lucas he's more interested in
absolute power then the $$. Lucas' cell rings, it's Marlena,
asking him to see Sami per her request. He agrees readily and
promises to be careful as Sami's still fragile and suppose to go
home the next day. He also agrees to call Marlena in her office
after seeing Sami (why not just stop by her office then??) He
tells Tony what's up and Tony insists on going with him, even
taking him to the hospital, wanting to help in any way he can (ok
Lucas, you saw how Tony upset Sami the last visit and heard
Marlena tell Tony to stay away from her..).
Lucas and Tony arrive and the nurse tells them Sami is asleep.
Lucas tells her Marlena called and the nurse mentions they did
need him as the board of directors (Mr. Carter) has been looking
for him. She urges Lucas to get him off their backs (LOL, why
would the BOD be bugging the nurses??) and he goes off with her,
leaving Tony (ironically in the same suit Sami had nightmare of
him in) outside her door. The eerie music gears up as he goes
into her room. She opens her eyes and voila, there's Tony smiling
down at her. He backs up when he sees she's scared and promises
to help her in any way he can. Lucas rushes back to Sami's room
and Cassie intercepts him, not letting him get by her. He tells
her to go see her mother, but she kisses him instead. Sami writes
for Tony to "kiss off", which he doesn't feel is very
tasteful, but backs up to go get Lucas. Tony tells Sami she
hasn't seen the last of him, not by a long shot though. Cassie
tells Tony she's there to see Mom and Lucas goes in to see Sami.
He tells her Will's ok. He misses his mommy and can't wait for
her to get home. She asks him to sit on the bed, not the chair
and he does so..surprised as he's usually the last person she
wants close to her. She writes "you saved me". Lucas
tells her softly that she fell through the French doors and if
there was anything he could have done to prevent it, he would
have. She strokes his cheek and cuddles in his arms.
In her office, Marlena remembers when she visited Sami in the
hospital a previous time and she brought a painting that Sami had
made for her when she was a little girl. She told Sami she
thought it would bring them closer and loves her. She then
remember when Sami was in her wedding gown and told John he
wasn't her father, even if he was sleeping with her mother and
Marlena slaps her hard, Sami is surprised her mother hit her as
Marlena demands changes in Sami and Sami saying she hates her
mother. Then another flashback of Sami figuring Will should just
believe Lucas is dead (when he was in the coma). Marlena
rationalized how Kate is part of Sami's life due to Will and how
John hired Kate at Basic Black. She tells Sami she's ashamed of
her the way she's acting and not to judge Kate. Cassie arrives at
her office and walks in to see her and rushes into her arms.
Cassie feels lost and tells her she's having a hard time trusting.
Marlena tells her never to question her love for her, that won't
change. Cassie cries in her arms, wishing this would never change.
Marlena assures her that they're now together, mother and
daughter and nothing will ever separate them again (uh oh..that's
a sign it will).
Back To The Pier
John arrives with a bag of clothes for Belle (hopefully Phil too)
as he overhears Belle demanding an explanation from Philip as she
was almost killed (gee, if she hadn't followed him, she wouldn't
have, huh?). Guess she wouldn't accept the "it's none of
your business" answer, as John tosses her the bag and tells
her that her old man is a spy, just like Philip. That shut her up
(momentarily) They tell her no one at Basic Black, especially
Kate, knows about this. He asks her to keep this quiet and she
agrees, but worried about his safety. She asks if Marlena knows
and he tells her yes, but she's the only one outside the ISA that
does. He rants at Philip about Belle's involvement, but Belle
tells him she followed Philip and Philip couldn't abort the
mission as Maya would have found out. Hearing Maya's name, she
remembers Shawn calling her for a date and worried about his
safety, asking he be warned about her. John tells her his car is
at the end of the dock and she can use the phone in the car. The
driver's name is Sam and he'll take her anywhere she wants to go.
She thanks John and asks him to take it easy on Philip and that
he saved her life tonight. Philip hugs her goodbye. John tells
Philip he has a lot of explaining to do. John chews Philip off
for involving a civilian and tells Philip he's off the case, NOW!
Philip tells John that Belle's just like her father. John
promises to have Philip behind a desk pushing ISA paperwork.
Philip calls John on his not having the authority to do that and
John dials up his cell to prove he can. John calls Shane, who
Philip said handpicked him for this mission, but hangs up when
Philip holds up proof his mission was a success (the bag with the
lipstick tube of gunk inside that may be toxic and a few diamonds).
Blue Note
Occasional scenes of Maya trying to seduce Shawn with her licking
a strawberry he dips in chocolate. Penny stops by their table (you
remember her from the island, the geeky timid girl?) (guess the
Blue Note is the upscale version of Java Café, which we haven't
seen in quite a while, huh?) Her self confidence has improved a
great deal as she's wearing a Cassie type dress and looking very
nice. Shawn over explains to Penny who Maya is and is called on
it. Penny asks Shawn if he's still helping with the soup kitchen
benefit with Belle and he tells her yes. She'll sign him up for
waiter duty and he's fine with that, but dismisses her as nicely
as he can. She gets the hint and leaves. Maya knows he's lying to
her and leading her on, knowing he still cares for Belle. He goes
on about Belle's tender feelings and has to break up slowly. Maya
sees Belle walk in and spot them together. Belle walks over to
their table, finding Shawn and Maya holding hands, asking what's
going on. She asks Maya for some time alone with her boyfriend.
Maya agrees, kissing Shawn on the cheek, saying no problem. Belle
asks how he could do that to her, to them. He tells her about
seeing her and Philip in that ship and wants to know what's going
on.
Back To DiMansion
Maya comes to visit Tony, who must have left Lucas at the
hospital. She tells him she had a successful evening. (she
stopped by her room to change apparently as she's back in her
pantsuit). She hands Tony a vial, saying it's what he wanted, and
suggested a toast to the future.
Brady Bounty Hunters
At the same time we saw John talking to Cassie outside the
pub, we see Hope meeting Bo (hmmm, didn't run into Cassie and
John, interesting) and asks what's up. She assures him Zach was
all right, Maggie was reading Good Night Moon to him
before bed. He holds up some car keys. Later in the show he shows
her their new SUV (which she didn't even get to help pick it out,
whatsupwiththat????) He mentions missing the old truck (I hope
Shawn gets to keep it) as she unlocks it with the remote and hops
in, as does he. Checking out the dash she tells Bo he's vibrating
(LOL) as he answers his cell. They've got a runner and buckle up
to get to work. Hope calls Maggie and fills her in what's going
on. Maggie offers to spend the night with Zack, but Hope figures
that won't be necessary. Apparently they stopped by the station
as Bo has the full report on Jesse, their runaway. They find a
place where he's hid out before and his alias and head that way
but Hope has a stop to make first, saying it's important. We find
them at their stake out, figuring they might be there a while.
Her stop was at Earl's Donuts (guess she didn't get enough of
Gran's that day) saying no stake out is complete without donuts.
She pulls out a choc. covered one with sprinkles (hey, no fair, I
haven't had breakfast yet!!!) as it's his favorite (shut up
stomach!!) when he spots someone and she pulls out her binoculars
(all SUV's come equipped with them I guess). He matches the perps
description and they roll. They follow him as he runs a red
light, wishing they had lights and sirens like it was back on the
force. They are in some gated area as Hope covers Bo while he
unlocks gates and doors. They rush into the building with guns
pointing, but the bad guys turn the lights on and have them
surrounded. They drop their guns as ordered, but manage to attack
two of them as Jesse gets away. Hope covers the two while Bo goes
after him, only to be clobbered with a hunk of wood and collapses
unconscious on the floor. Jesse holds the gun at Bo and threatens
to shoot "lover boy" if she doesn't drop the gun, so
she does.
Later we find them chained up in chairs back to back as Bo has
some blood on his face. He's not sure how they're going to get
out of this and Hope's face goes to black and white.
Preview:
Nicole answers her cell phone, saying she doesn't know any MR.
ED. (LOL) as we see Larry in the stable whinnying talking to her,
(he cracks me up!) Kate is questioning Lucas about finding
Sami in his arms when she arrived, saying she's thinking the
unthinkable, that he's out of his mind and fallen for Sami (as we
see footage of him and Sami making out). Bo and Hope are told by
Jesse that this will be over soon, no sense dragging it out. Bo
and Hope are standing and struggling to get out of their chains,
as the credits roll.
