MONDAY, JUNE 16TH, 2003

Rex and Mimi's relationship moves to another level, Nicole cops a
corpse, Bo and Hope spend one last night on the Fancy Face, Sami
wakes up.
Brady Pub
Shawn returns to the pub after his meeting with Maya. Complaining
about the heat, he takes off his suit jacket and helps himself to
some of Belle's iced tea. Realizing she's depressed about Sami,
she confesses Sami asked her to lunch one day last week and she
didn't feel like it, so turned her down.
Outside TEK calls Philip and warns him not to go into the pub (if
they want a place to rendevous discreetly, the BRADY PUB is not
the wisest choice, LOL!). TEK is spying on Belle and Shawn and
threatens to report Philip for insubordination if he interrupts.
Shawn has to return to Mickey's office to escort a client across
town (that late at night?). He tells Belle to have fun at the
party with Philip and they exchange I love yous and he's off. (Looks
like he's growing a mustache... maybe it's just me, but it looks
darker here then later in the show). After Shawn leaves, Belle is
served another iced tea as Philip joins her (with TEK watching).
She tells him Shawn was heading back to work when he asks, and
agrees to go to the party with him.
Philip and TEK have some burgers at the pub and discuss his
assignment. He asks who the target is and TEK brings out a
picture of Maya, referring to her as a power house.
Belle returns to the pub, dressed in a pretty pink floor length
gown and her hair up. Philip said TEK brought his dress uniform
for him from the base and slips out to go get ready. Belle calls
Shawn and tells him Philip's with that guy from the base again.
She hopes to find out more at the party. He apologizes for not
being able to go again. She hangs up to find TEK standing behind
her and Philip walks in wearing his uniform (guess he found a
phone booth or convenient bush to change in outside). He explains
his longer then usual marine haircut, dons his hat and they head
off.
Hospital
Tony sits staring at Sami in her coma, remembering the incident
that put her there. He apologizes to her for what she's going
through, feeling guilty for pushing her away from him. He says he
never wanted to be like his father (her eyelids flutter open). He
sees she's awake and asks if she can hear him. She remembers what
happened and he heads off to get a nurse or doctor as she watches
him.
DiMansion
Cassie joins Lucas as he's working. Her hand creeps to the inside
of his leg as he pushes it away, warning her she's playing with
fire. He removes it again saying playtime is over, but she tells
him she's not playing. He suggests she go shop at the mall, or
whatever people her age do, haha. She sits on his lap, saying
that's what she is doing. She wants to prove she's a woman and he
drops her on the floor (atta boy!!!). Tony walks in (that was
quick..grab a nurse for Sami and run home?) and sees his daughter
on the floor. Using the lost earring excuse, Lucas and Cassie
exchange double meanings as they explain. While Tony's upstairs
talking to Rex, Lucas tells Cassie he won't take advantage of her.
Upstairs Rex and Mimi return to his room as she recants their
evening, calling it an evening to remember, LOL. While she
doesn't want anything else to do with a dead person, she tells
him she couldn't turn him down if he asked her. Kiss kiss. She
figures everything that's happened the past few months have
brought them together to this moment. Rex suggests they improvise
right now, which Meems agrees with as they kiss more. He
unbuttons her top after she assures him she's okay with it and
takes her top off herself (she's got a camisole on). Telling her
she's beautiful, they fall back on the bed kissing...
She unbuttons his shirt as they look into each others eyes and he
wastes no time taking it off, LOL, followed by his jeans. Knock
Knock..Tony knocks asking if he can come in. They both sit up.
Rex grabs his robe and tells Mimi to stay there. Tony wants to
know what that drawing was he found in Rex's room earlier and
when Rex shrugs it off, Tony demands the truth. He slips back
into his room and brings out the diamonds. Tony's mood brightens
and calls his son a genius and suggests they keep this in the
family. Rex returns to bed and crawls back in with Mimi as they
take up where they left off.
Tony returns to Cassie and Lucas, asking if everything's under
control there. He gets a cell call from Maya, saying he's in for
a surprise. We learn Tony's going to the party too and Cassie
invites herself to accompany him. She flatters him into taking
her and dashes upstairs with her crutch to find something to wear.
Maya unsuccessfully tries to talk Shawn into going with her to
the party (does his mustache actually look shaved now or not as
dark?). She leaves alone.
Da Morgue
Nicole's in full scrubs, mask and hat trying to work up courage
to go in. Psyching herself out it's a hotel and not a morgue, she
talks herself into go into someone's room. She picks up a clip
board and looks at the height of the corpses under the sheets (wouldn't
they be in drawers and/or refrigerated? Standing next to "John
Does" table, she lifts up the sheet and covers him again.
She figures out how to get him out of there and voila, the
wheelchair is right there. Talking to the body "Johnny"
she says once he's burned he won't be identifiable and she'll get
her life back. Rolf sits up and freaks her out. She asks what's
the deal, dead people aren't suppose to sit up, are they as she
feels his pulse and finds none. Later she's gotten him in the
chair and tells him."c'mon dough boy, let's blow this
Popsicle stand" and wheels him out. Later, we find her
wheeling him into the Kiriakis stables and Victor walks in
calling for her (would have been interesting seeing her getting
him into her car... guess Niko's backing off a bit on following
her?). She tells Victor she was going to go for a ride, but he
orders her to change into something dressy for the party and act
like the loving wife she isn't. She heads back to Rolf, but he
demands she come now. So Rolf gets to spend the night in the
stable, haha (the horses won't appreciate his stench I'm sure,
nor the grooms when they find him).
Fancy Face
We rejoin Bo and Hope, naked under the sheets on the Fancy Face.
Can't Live Without Your Love plays in the background as they
relish in their love. We see flashbacks of a very young Bo and
Hope (about 7) as they look at a sail boat saying they're going
to raise their family on it. Later, Bo suggests a last sail
together and she agrees. They'll sail to Smith Island.
Mickey's Office
Maya is upset how late Shawn is, mentioning how much Mickey
charges per hour. He apologizes and asks how he can make it up to
her. He tells her Mickey tried to call her, but her cellphone's
off. He's to escort her to another law office across town. They
return later and she invites him to a party. He tells her he's
got a girlfriend, but she says it's not a wedding chapel, just a
party with food and liquor.
Back To Sami's Room
Lucas returns to find Sami awake. (Guess her family isn't taking
turns sitting with her at the hospital). You can see the relief
on his face (and more I think). He tells her how happy Will's
going to be that she's awake and has been sobbing for her. Lucas
tells her how proud he himself is of her and glad she used her
stubborn streak to do something useful, another day of life. She
tries to say something and can't. With tears in her eyes she
can't as he encourages her to talk.
Preview:
Bo and Hope are flirting on Smith Island about why he brought
her there, Brady finds Nicole in the stable and asks why she's
there. He tears her gown as he tries to move her aside as she
catches it and stares at him open mouthed, Rex tells Mimi he
wants her to be part of his life. She dares him to try and get
rid of her.

TUESDAY, JUNE 17TH, 2003

Rex and Mimi finally make love, Bo and Hope share a romantic
evening together on Smith Island and Brady and Nicole bare their
feelings in the stable.
Rex & Mimi
Rex asks Mimi if she's sure and she tells him SO SURE. Knock
knock (again!) She tells him to get rid of whomever it is as she
hides under the sheets. It's Charles, the butler (first time
we've seen him). He brought up Rex's mail and instead of just
giving it to him at the door, walks it over to Rex's desk and
tells Rex he should put his mail first thing in the morning on
his desk (oh paleez). He notes the messy bed and wants to send
Grace the maid (where ARE all these house help hiding??) up to
remake Rex's bed. Rex thanks him, assures him he'll just mess it
up again and says goodbye. He rejoins Meems and the phone rings,
it's the hospital telling him Sami's awake (he left a request for
them to call if she did). Mimi tells him that's wonderful and
she'll go with him to see Sami. They have all the time in the
world (awww).
Horton Cabin
Bo and Hope sailed to Smith Island and enjoy a romantic evening
alone in the Horton Cabin. They flirt with each other and meet in
the middle with a kiss. As he lights a fire (Nicole's icing Rolf
down (see below), but they're having a fire?? LOL), Hope looks at
a framed picture of them on the Fancy Face. She's having second
thoughts about selling it, but he knows they need the money. She
ponders another way to get the money without selling the boat.
She wants to reconsider her trust fund. No, he wants it as
security in case something happens to their kids or them. The
insurance they have is based on a cops salary (guess they
continued the insurance being he's not a cop). She realizes as
long as she has Bo, seeing the love on his face, she has
everything. She agrees to sell the Fancy Face. Hope heats up a
frozen mushroom casserole for their candlelight dinner. Bo goes
to open an expensive bottle of champagne that Victor gave them
for their wedding. She considers selling it as they could use the
money, but he thinks not. He reminds her of the note Victor
attached to the bottle, NOT TO BE SHARED WITH ANYONE ELSE and
reads the message along with the bottle.

And the insight to always trust in each other's love.
They toast to an amazing future and bounty hunter business. Later
they take a dip in the lake and with towels wrapped around
themselves, we see a flashback of them around 7 years old again
as they swam at Smith Island. They realize it's going to be hard
telling Shawn about the Fancy Face. They decide it can wait til
tomorrow and go under the sheets to make love next to the fire.
Kiriakis Stable
Clad in long white evening gown, Nicole brings a huge bag of ice
out to keep Rolf (now lying in a wooden (horse trough?). The
temps are warming up and she feels Rolf's forehead commenting
it's getting warm (hmmm, he should be cold) and proceeds to
apologize as she dumps ice along his sides. She talks to him (funny)
as she tells him she didn't know what he did in his former life,
but he's now helping her kill her husband..and liking talking to
a man that doesn't talk back. She tells "sugar" goodbye
and bumps into Brady as she exits the barn. She asks if he's
following her, but he assures her he's not. She rants about how
Victor considers her a trophy and always watching her. They hear
a noise in Rolf's stall and Brady threatens to see who she's
hiding in there. She tears his sweatshirt as she goes to stop him
from going in the stall. He tears her gown as well. Victor
arrives, demanding an explanation and Nicole comes up with one,
saying Rusty the horse got out and she was too embarrassed for
Brady to find out how careless she was. Victor orders her to get
her dress fixed and be by his side before the first guest arrives.
He asks Brady if he found a good location for a recording studio
and Brady tells him he had (on the Kiriakis estate). Victor
leaves and Nicole thanks Brady for not telling Victor anything.
She asks about Chloe and learns she's off to Europe. They argue
about love and how it sucks. She tells him he was stupid to let
someone he loves get away. She tells him he doesn't know a thing
about love and he agrees with her. Maybe it was a mistake to let
Chloe go, but it seemed right at the time. Nicole tells him Chloe
needed the hand holding that night she saw her at the Blue Note
and was dependant on him. He has second thoughts too and wonders
why he's telling her all this as she doesn't give a damn. She
tells him as a step grandmother she does care, LOL. She offers to
help him get over Chloe. She pulls her flask out of her purse. He
tells her no, it's an act of cowardice to drown your sorrows. He
essentially calls her a whore and asks what you call a young
woman marrying an old man for money. She answers "Smart".
He disagrees saying next time she looks in the mirror she'll see
she doesn't look smart or happy.
Hospital
Kate and Roman return from the cafeteria. He wished he could
mainline the caffeine as she tries to talk him into going home
and getting some sleep. As long as Sami's in intensive care he
vows to not go anywhere. Roman tells Marlena it's all the more
reason to stay after she reminds him he talked Marlena to go home
and rest. Kate relates, remembering when Lucas was in a coma too.
They're honest with their feelings and he knows how she feels
about Sami. They find Lucas trying to calm Sami down. Roman moves
Lucas aside and assures Sami she can't try to talk right now, her
vocal cords need to heal. Sami is distraught, especially after
Lucas comments she won't ever talk again. Roman steps aside and
talks to Lucas quietly. Lucas sincerely tells Roman how he's got
to go home to his and Sami's son and tell him about his mom. He
was there when the accident happened and didn't cause it (er,
well, technically maybe... but he helped her anxiety) and if he
could go back in time and stop it from happening, would. Roman
pretty much believes he's sincere, but knows if Sami could talk
what she would say and asks Lucas nicely to leave. Lucas steps
outside and watches through the window and Kate softly joins him.
She and Lucas both agree this is strange how they're worried
about Sami. He leaves to go to work and they get into it about
his working for Tony. He assures her he can handle Tony DiMera.
Mimi and Rex arrive and find Roman alone with Sami. Mimi agrees
to wait for Rex outside as he enters the ICU room. Roman stares
up and the two glare at each other. He asks to spend time with
his sister. Roman reminds him she's his ‡ sister. Roman's
reluctant being they aren't close to each other. Rex said she's
still blood and his sister (has anyone told Eric, her twin yet?
Would be nice if he came to see her!!) Roman okays it and quietly
tells him she's been sedated to sleep and can't talk, so for him
to be sensitive. He steps outside and tells Kate about Rex's
visit. Roman doesn't understand why he's bothered about this and
there's something about this kid he doesn't like. Mimi overhears
from nearby and goes into Sami's room and tells Rex his father
doesn't like him. Rex said he doesn't like his father either, so
it's okay. He might not ever find out he's his father. Being
Sami's asleep, they decide to leave.
Roman tells Kate how he sees Sami as a lost little girl whose
parents left because of her when she was young. She tells him
he's a wonderful father and Sami's lucky to have him. The last we
see him, Roman's sitting by Sami's side.
Rex & Mimi
We find Rex and Mimi star watching on the mountain. Lying on a
blanket with her head on his chest, she tells him she loves to
wish on stars, a hopeless romantic. He suggests she wish on a
star that's not so far away, one closer to her heart and pulls a
huge diamond out of his pocket and gives it to her. Her mouth
drops. He tells her it's a rough cut diamond, but he just wanted
to give her something special. He wants her to be part of his
life and she tells him to try and get rid of her. They start to
make love for the first time as Lisa Loeb's TRUTHFULLY
plays in the background. We see Rex undressing Mimi, lifting her
blouse off and slipping her straps off her shoulder (funny how
her straps are back on her shoulders again when he slips her
jeans off, haha) as they kiss and undress each other until we
find them under another blanket. What a sweet couple.
Preview:
Bo and Hope are docked back on the pier as Shawn overhears
them talking about selling the boat and not happy about it. At
the Kiriakis party (finally), Belle suggests Cassie wipe the
drool off her mouth as Cassie tells Belle she likes her dress.
Rex tells Mimi he totally loves her and she tells him she loves
him too.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 18TH, 2003

Bo & Hope continue to pack up the Fancy Face while
Rex & Mimi cannot get enough of each other. Victor's party
finally begins, but there is still no sign of Jack, Jennifer or
Marlena??
Mimi & Rex relax in the afterglow, and
declare their love for each other. This is all very sweet as Mimi
asks for more and Rex recites all the "let me count the
reasons I love you". He talks of when he first came to
Salem, and seeing a family down on the pier, with the dad kissing
the mom, the kids looking on and being so jealous of those kids
as they were looking right at love. They talk of never wanting to
leave there, and wanting to build a house right on that spot,
mention how hungry they are, but make love again before going for
food. We next see them in the Brady Pub, getting their burgers
and fries, but obviously wanting to get back to their lovemaking.
LOL
On Board The Fancy Face Bo & Hope are packing up their
belongings, and doing a lot of teasing each other. Shawn arrives,
enjoys watching them. He gets a call from Maya, wanting to see
him about her case (??) and he rightly advises her to contact
Mickey, and declines again her invite to accompany her tonite.
After he hangs up, he hears his parents mention selling the boat,
and gets upset. They reassure him and explain, he calms down, and
agrees it is the right thing to do. He leaves, and his parents
reminisce about their days on the Fancy Face, as we get treated
to a long flashback of them sailing while Kelly Moneymaker sings
"Can't Live Without Your Love" in the background. (Love
that Days is once again using a lot of music with the couples,
have missed it).
At The Kiriakis Mansion, Belle is outside waiting for
Philip, as Tony & Cassie arrive. (So Philip arrive w/his date
at his OWN house, and leaves her outside while he takes off?
Cannot imagine what excuse he could possibly have used). They
exchange a few words, Tony & Cassie go inside as we now see
Philip joining John & TEK in a van. They talk a bit about the
undercover operation, Phil gets a mike & receiver, & tiny
camera to use. When he mentions getting back to Belle, John is
not a happy camper to learn she is there.
Victor & Nicole arrive in the doorway to their party (her
dress is all sewn back together very nicely, she must be a good
seamstress, lolol) & exchange a few barbs. Nik mentions
finding some other old guy and trading up, and Victor advises
against it, being the guy might not like finding out she is a
cold blooded murderess. Brady overhears this (now in a spiffy tux)
and asks about the statement. Vic covers, saying Nicole is
wearing a killer dress (ROTFL). Victor welcomes Philip &
Belle, while a jealous Cassie looks on. (o.k. folks, this is hard
to believe this is all the same nite that Chloe sang at the Blue
Note and then left town. Time does draaaggggg in Salem, doesn't
it? LOL)
Tony leaves Cassie to talk to Maya, who says she has to speak to
him alone. Philip spots them, John tells him (must have earpiece
in his ear) that is his target. Philip & Belle chat a bit w/Tony
& Cassie ñ the girls meow at each other, w/ Belle saying how
unattractive Cassie's attitude is, and Cassie replying, just like
your dress. (LOL - BIG MEOW here. )Phil asks Belle to keep Tony
occupied, w/o saying why, and she begins babbling to Tony about
the furnishings at Kiriakis mansion, and then the DiMera one, but
Tony stops her. She then mentions Sami, wanting him to know she
was doing better, which Tony already knew. Cassie has stopped
Philip from following Maya, but he brushes her off. Cassie gives
Belle a hard time about dating another guy behind her boyfriend's
back, but Belle tells her she doesn't know what she is talking
about. She calls Shawn, saying she is having a horrible time,
asking him again to come to where she is, but he invites her to
come up to Lookout Point. She agrees and Cassie overhears their
plans. Meanwhile, Philip has followed Maya to the library, hiding
as Victor arrives. Vic goes in, noting to Maya that she seems to
be acquainted with Tony DiMera. Philip opens the door slightly,
Victor spots him, and Phil covers by saying his guests are asking
about him. Victor leaves, and just as Phil once again tries to
get into the libraray, again hears someone coming and hides. Now
it is Tony. (Gee, and no one wonders what this guest is doing all
by herself in the library... hmmmm).
Meanwhile, Brady has been keeping an eye on Nicole. When Victor
accuses her of drinking too much, she says she will go splash
some water on her face and will be back. Brady follows her to the
stables, but doesn't see her putting MORE ice on Rolf. (c'mon,
those little bits of ice cubes would not help much at all. Guess
Nik doesn't watch CSI... lol) When Brady surprises her, asking
what she is doing, she comes on to him, giving him a big kiss. He
pushes her away, telling her she is sick, and she retorts that
she was just kidding. He tells her off and leaves in a huff.
Back at the house, Victor is on the phone to Cecelia Marin,
thanking her for all she did to get Chloe out of Salem and his
grandson's life. She seems to be thanking him, too, as he says
she is welcome, and that this was the best for Brady. (Gee, did
she get to NY or is it to Europe THAT fast ñ Salem time zones
are rather confusing, aren't they? LOL) Brady comes in, and they
talk of how Brady has too many memories in his loft apt. (Really?
I thought all his memories were of the Wesley sofa? LOL) so
Victor invites him to live at the mansion. He says that since the
recording studio will be on the grounds of the estate, it would
save him a lot of time, etc. etc. Brady agrees, and in the
background, Nicole's mouth drops open. (Her expression is
hysterical) After Victor leaves, she asks Brady why she wasn't
consulted about this, since she lives there, too. Brady tells her
to ask her husband. Ha.
Shawn is spreading a blanket at Lookout Point, hears someone
coming, and is surprised Belle is already there, but it turns out
to be Cassie. She claims Belle is too wrapped up in Philip and
probably won't come (like Shawn would believe that) and comes on
to him. When he emphatically tells her that he already made it
clear he wasn't interested, she says he has needs, so does she,
no strings, etc. etc. blah, blah. Shawn says a firm no.
Now we see Philip crawling thru what appears to be some sort of
crawl space between floors, as he moves some shiny ductwork aside
(lucky them, sooooooo CLEAN!) & pulls up a register to watch
& listen to Tony & Maya in the library below. John is
having a fit because he has lost contact w/Phil. We hear Maya say
another shipment is coming in, which makes Tony happy, but he
asks if she doesn't have something else to tell him, that she is
a smart cookie. Up over them, Philip takes pictures with his tiny
camera, hears a noise, and here is Belle, crawling thru this
space in her beautiful gown... GMAB!!! Phil signals Belle to go
away, and urges her in a whisper to get outta there. Ooops, she
is stuck, her dress is caught! Philip attempts to help, and we
hear fabric tearing. He says she is going to have to take it off.
Preview:
Philip to Belle "If we want to get out of here, we have
to take off the dress - as he helps her remove it. Shawn
to Cassie "I'm NOT going to have sex w/you". Brady (in
the pool) to Nicole "What do you want" as she stands at
the edge saying "Isn't it obvious?"

THURSDAY, JUNE 19TH, 2003

As the party continues, Nicole spends most of her time
trying to distract Brady, Belle and Philip continue to sneak
around, Tony and Maya talk business. Elsewhere, Cassie comes on
strong to Shawn, then finds herself in hot water, again.
Shawn & Cassie
Cassie comes on really strong to Shawn and pressures him, trying
to kiss him, promising him that no one will ever know. He turns
away, telling her that he is NOT going to have sex with her. But
our little Cassie just keeps on (What part of NO does she not
understand? He makes it pretty clear). She begins to undress, but
he stops her, saying that he loves Belle and is committed to her.
But she continues and he tells her to just stop as she pushes him
down and crawls on top of him. He pushes her away again, telling
her that he doesn't care about her, just as no one else does. She
claims that she could have any man she wants, but, he says, NOT
him. He finally tells her to just leave. She tells him that while
he is there waiting for Belle, she is off partying with Philip
and begins to make fun of his relationship with Belle. She tells
him that he is blind and that Belle doesn't love him. He tells
her that she is just jealous of Belle, when she is the one person
who has done so much for her. He rakes her over the coals and
tells her that NO ONE will EVER fall in love with HER. In a huff,
she tells him that when Belle finally dumps him, don't come to
her and she storms off. After she is gone, Shawn tries to call
Belle to see where she is, but gets her voice mail. Cassie
ventures over to the docks and eyes some guy hanging out there.
She sashays over there and begins some heavy flirting. His name
is Toby and she tells him that he can be with her, if he has what
it takes. He tells her to name her price as he pulls out his
wallet. She comes on strong to him and he slaps the handcuffs on
her, telling her he is an undercover cop and she is under arrest
for solicitation as he leads her away, reading her the Miranda
rights.
Meanwhile, At The Party...
Victor and Nicole discuss Brady's moving in. She is po'd because
Victor didn't discuss it with her first. He basically tells her
that what he does in none of her business. He threatens making
alternative living arrangements for her, telling her that he
understands that "Statesville" is nice this time of
year. She leaves in a huff. Brady goes out to the pool (during
the middle of a party?) for a swim. (LOL at that tiny pool). He
comes up out of the water to see Nicole's long legs in front on
him. He asks what she wants and she says "Isn't it obvious?"
They argue about his moving in. They talk about the kiss (Nicole
threatens to tell Victor) and eventually says that it didn't mean
anything to her. As he gets out of the pool, he splashes water on
her. I think she goes to slap him and he grabs her arm and their
eyes lock. Finally he just backs off when her cell phone rings.
It's Larry, telling her that his move is scheduled for tomorrow.
She talks in code (Brady is still there) and mentions something
about the stables. She takes down a number of someone who can
help her out. Brady asks who that was and is sure that she is up
to something and heads over to the stables. She tries to stop him
and as a last resort, jumps in the pool (pretending she fell in)
and yells for him to save her. She goes under and he finally
jumps in to "save" her. (LOL as he helps her out, you
can see that the water is only waist deep!) After she is out, he
heads for the stables. She claims that she twisted her ankle and
needs his help, but he goes on. So she jumps up and chases after
him. We then see him in the stables searching around as she comes
in trying to stop him. He notices that her ankle healed quickly
and asks what she is hiding. She tells him that she has a secret
and moves closer to him.
Philip & Belle are still stuck in the air duct as he
tries to convince her to remove her dress (oh brother). John and
TEK (in the van listening) are frustrated because they have lost
the signal. Below the air duct, Tony and Maya continue their
discussion (how can they NOT hear all the commotion above?) Tony
tries to persuade Maya to drop her lawsuit but she assures him
that she will win and that he will get his share, split 50/50.
Meanwhile, Philip tells Belle if she wants to get out of there,
she must remove her dress. He finally convinces her and she slips
out of it and is very uncomfortable about it. Maya and Tony
continue to talk and she asks if he trusts her. They mention her
"late" father and how she is so much like him. He
toasts their mutually beneficial partnership. Tony (finally)
hears a noise above, but Maya says it is probably the air
conditioning system. (If mine made that much racket, I would be
calling a repairman!) Belle notices Philip's earpiece fall out
and asks what it is but he avoids the question. Later, we see
them sneaking down the front stairs (Belle in her slip and Philip
in a filthy t-shirt). Victor walks into the foyer and asks what
is going on. Philip stammers around (Belle has disappeared, I
don't think Victor saw her) and finally says he was working on
his car and removed his jacket as not to get it dirty. This whole
time, Victor has been looking for Nicole. After Victor leaves,
Philip talks with John (who is furious by now) telling him to get
Belle out of there. Philip looks around for her and finds her in
the closet. She keeps asking who he is talking to and he keeps
avoiding her questions. But he finally tells her that he was
talking to his contact. She says she KNEW it, he has some kind of
secret mission. They hear voices, so both of them duck into the
closet.
Meanwhile, Tony and Maya discuss he personal life as she
describes a guy she has her eye set on (Shawn?). She says he is
young, smart and easy on the eyes and that this one is a keeper
and she loves a challenge. Tony tells her that Victor can never
learn of their connection. Right on cue, Victor comes in as Tony
tells him that they are just getting acquainted. Maya leaves as
Victor offers advice, telling Tony to keep his distance from her,
she is just like her father. She has the same influence and not
afraid to use it. Tony chuckles, saying they have a lot in common.
He briefly tells of her father being an antiquities dealer and
that when he died, she took over the business, using his shipping
lines to transport items. He says that she is smart and not
easily manipulated. She returns as Victor leaves. Tony and Maya
discuss using Victor's shipping company to transport their gems.
They return to the party , with her telling Tony that a shipment
is scheduled to leave out tomorrow. Before she leaves, she tells
Tony that everything is set.
Hiding in the closet, she keeps questioning him, but he avoids
her questions about his mission. He tells her that it is secret
and no one must know, and she cannot tell Shawn. This bothers
her, but she finally agrees to keep his secret. In the van, John
and TEK pack things up to leave, John still furious with Philip,
saying he has some explaining to do. Philip and Belle notice that
the noise has settled down, so they sneak out of the closet (Belle
still in her slip), only to find Shawn standing in the foyer with
an angry look on his face.
Preview:
Mimi tells Rex that he must tell Cassie the truth about Roman
being their father. Rex says it will kill her. Roman tells
Marlena that her daughter was arrested for solicitation, as
Cassie yells that it's a lie. Maya tells Philip "You want
Belle, I want Shawn, do we help each other?" Belle is
in the pool and tells Shawn to do his Tarzan yell. He does and
jumps in with her.

The party wraps up as Belle and Shawn cool off, Nicole
and Brady talk in the stable, and Cassie is arrested for
prostitution.
Rex & Mimi
Rex and Mimi are in lip lock mode back up in his room again (ok,
they've had THEIR turn, now how about the newlyweds, have they
even consummated their marriage writers?? You couldn't prove it
by us. C'mon!!!) Mimi frets she'll lose Rex when they find out
about Rolf. She suggests they leave town. Rex tells her they
aren't even looking for Rolf as he's been checking his PA (palm
pilot I assume) to keep up with the news (how romantic, haha).
She's too nervous to make love there with all the interruptions,
LOL, and he suggests they just hold each other and lie on the bed
together. He admits liking being a Dimera and doesn't want it to
change. He wants to stay that way and asks her to promise not to
tell anyone about Roman being his father. She figures Cassie
deserves the truth.
The Kiriakis Party
Shawn confronts Belle and Philip. They tell Shawn they bailed on
the party and her dress got caught somewhere. Everything was
innocent and looking eye to eye, Belle tells him that's the truth.
He says okay and storms out the front door. Shawn returns with
his letter jacket and gives it to Belle to put on. She thought he
was mad at her, but he knows she wouldn't lie to him, it's just
been one of those nights (yeah, about 2 weeks long I'd say, ha!)
She understands and is ready to leave as Philip makes an open
request (aimed at Belle) for them to promise not to tell anyone
what happened or no one will date him again. Belle agrees and
Maya walks into the foyer and is told that Belle is Shawn's
girlfriend and she grew up with Philip. Belle asks if they can
still have their date at lookout point. He tells her they're
alone now and the stars are right up there. She jokes about Maya
wanting him and he says the same about Philip. They talk about
all the changes with Chloe gone, Rex and Cassie her siblings, but
vow they are forever!! He threatens to throw her in the pool and
peels off his tshirt. She finally agrees and peels off his jacket
and slip and he his shorts as they get in Victor's teeny pool in
their undies. She made him do his tarzan yell (sorry, his doesn't
compare to Carol Burnett's haha) first. After he leaps in the
pool he realizes he lost his shorts and she asks if he's not
happy to see her ;-)
Guess the party's still going on as Victor sees some guests out.
Maya comments on his family missing in action, LOL. He warns her
again about Tony and when she asks about Nicole, he confesses not
knowing where she is.
Inside Philip returns in clean full uniform (must have had a
spare in his room?) He and Maya chat as he helps himself to the
buffet. She learns he, Belle and Shawn are best friends and Belle
is definitely Shawn's girl. Maya is disappointed, saying Shawn
has the makings of a fine lawyer and how much help he's given her
(escorting her across town?) Maya can tell Philip would like more
from Belle. They notice Belle and Shawn playing in the pool (Belle
found Shawn's shorts and is waving them around as he's trying to
get them from her..geez..I'm sure Grandpa Vic would appreciate
his fancy party guests seeing that). Maya levels with Philip that
she wants Shawn and he wants Belle..they can help each other. He
tells her Shawn and Belle are his best friends and he'll pretend
she didn't ask him that. She goes outside, ready to go in the
pool herself. She suggests Philip join her too, but he has to
return to the base. Shawn and Belle say they were about to get
out, they thought all the guests had left (did they check?) as
they have work in the morning. Maya takes the clue and leaves.
Philip goes back inside and calls TEK on his cell. He has a way
to get closer to Maya, but may have to use his best friend to do
it. Belle quietly tells Shawn she just met Maya and already hates
her. Maya watches them kissing from the distant bushes.
Cop Shop
Roman is at the police station (guess he got tired of sitting
with Sami?) and tells Marlena that her daughter was arrested for
solicitation. Poor little Cassie quakes in mommy's arms. He tells
her what happened at the dock and why he called her at the
hospital (aha, must have been her shift with Sami). Cassie
demands her one phone call. Marlena tells her she wants to talk
with Tony too, but Cassie doesn't want her father seeing her in
hand cuffs, it's bad enough her mother had to. She calls Rex,
tells him she was arrested and smugly tells Roman her brother
will help her. Roman tells her that she needs the best attorney
her daddy can buy. Marlena warns Cassie it's dangerous when
you're alone on the dock (and she should know!!). Roman hands
Marlena the arrest report with her verbatim conversation with the
undercover cop. Marlena looks at it and they argue over how
Cassie should be treated. Roman said they're past the tough love
stage and jail time might wake her up. Cassie is shocked as she
listens and tells Roman how does he get off telling her what to
do, he's not her father and just because he hates her, (Rex and
Mimi walk in and overhear this). Roman tells the uniform to book
her and Rex asks Roman what the hell does he think he's doing! He
tells Rex that Cassie's being arrested for prostitution. Roman
suggests Marlena call Mickey (oh no). She gets his answering
service and leaves a message for him (poor old Mick, he does need
his sleep!!) about Cassie. Rex asks to speak with Cassie alone
and Roman agrees. Sweet Meems offers to get Marlena some coffee
and she thanks her and nods yes. Alone, Roman apologizes for what
he said (about the jail time) and Marlena understands, just
frustrated not knowing what to do. He asks if she went back to
the hospital (that's where he said he just called her at???).
Marlena said she did and Sami was asleep, but then woke up and
wanted to write being she couldn't talk. Roman assures her
they'll see Sami through this. On the verge of tears, Marlena
worries that losing Brandon was too much for Sami. She feels it's
different this time. She watched Sami sleep and she seemed so
small and so young. She'd give anything to give back the time she
lost with her, and Cassie. She looks in the office to see a
distraught Cassie being comforted by Rex. (little does she know
why though). She apologizes to Roman saying what Cassie's going
through doesn't have anything to do with him.
Rex tells Cassie the charges are bad against her. She figures it
can't be worse then being arrested and strip searched (boy, they
book em fast in Salem, seems like she was just led away). She's
still in her dress, so guess they strip searched her and gave her
own clothes back to her to wear. Rex hates having to tell her,
but he does so. He tells her about the dna research he's done and
has found out that Roman Brady is their biological father. He
doesn't know who their mother is yet. After they talk, Roman has
Cassie taken down to lockup for the night being she hasn't been
arraigned and court's not in session. Cassie pleads not to have
to go, saying it'll kill her (oh heck, she can flirt with the
guard). Rex is torn, feeling helpless. He and Mimi return to his
room and he's concerned about Cassie being locked up alone for
the night. He vows to never let Cassie near Roman again when she
gets out. We see Cassie lying on the cot in her cell and
remembering her and Rex being locked in a room when she was about
five and terrified.
Back To The Kiriakis Party ... er... Stable
As Rolf lies dripping in the stall, Nicole and Brady stand
dripping in the stable. He wants to know what happened and she
finally tells him she did something bad and didn't want him to
find out about it. He figures she was just acting like a bitch to
torture everyone. She uses the excuse about being upset that
Victor sprung the party on her and then invited him to live there.
He demands the truth and she comes up with how the stable was her
safe haven. He can't figure out why she needs an escape anywhere.
She loses it and tells him she's lost her freedom and the job at
Titan that she was so good at. Brady tells her to tell Victor if
she's so unhappy. She compares herself to Victor's thoroughbreds,
well groomed, excellent housing yet yearning to be free. He asks
about a future to be free without her husband?? Nicole breaks
down and tells Brady she hates being a victim like her mother was.
He takes her arms and pulls her toward him as she sobs. He tells
her she has to confront this or it will destroy her. He knows the
way she fights she won't be a victim. She knows she use to be
like that and he tells her it's okay to ask for help once in a
while. She knows he hates her, why would she do that? He offers
her his hand and said they're living under the same roof and he
doesn't bite, much.
Later, Victor and Henderson chat about Nicole's absence. Victor
searched the house and Henderson says her car is still in the
garage. Vic figures she passed out drunk somewhere. Victor walks
into the stable catching Nicole and Brady shaking hands and asks
what the hell they're doing. He asks why she's bothering Brady
and she should have been up at the house saying good night to
their guests. Victor tells her the party is over and asks her if
she should do something about her appearance. Brady observes as
Victor chastises Nicole for ruining her gown, probably being
drunk as Brady covers saying she fell in the pool. Brady tells
Vic he and Nicole are on the same page about his moving in there.
He tells Nicole to go up to the house as he wants to talk with
Brady. She leaves and a minute later, after Victor tells Brady
that Nicole was drunk and won't remember what happened tonight (Brady
thinks she will) Victor tells Brady he needs a nightcap. They
leave and Nicole peers into the stable.
Preview:
Rex visits a distraught Cassie in jail. She always thought she
could count on him but doesn't believe it any more. Brady warns
Nicole if she thinks she's going to cheat on his grandfather to
forget it as he'll be watching her. Tony visits Sami in her room,
asking what she wants to tell him. She writes on a small white
board "GO TO HELL!!"
