Bo's outbursts to the press continue, Eugenia becomes a time bomb
in Sami's eyes, Denise dumps Lucas, the party rocks on at
DiMansion, ending in turmoil.
Bo & Hope visit Abe and Lexie at the hospital (she's
doing fine now) and as they leave, Abe catches a bit of Bo on TV
shooting off his mouth about the Salem PD. Abe is furious as Hope
tries to explain/apologize. But Abe chews him out and issues a
warning to keep his mouth shut. After Abe leaves, Hope tries to
be the voice of reason, explaining that Abe had the right to be
upset. She suggests that they go on home. Once they get there,
the place is crawling with the press and Bo goes off again as
Hope tries to get him inside. Once again he slams the drug
dealers as well as the department. Inside, she tries to calm him
down, but he is wound too tight. He rants on and on as Hope gives
up, only shaking her head. He is really worked up as she tries to
reason with him, explaining if he puts Ramsel away, someone else
would come along. But Bo is determined and she promises to stand
by him, sure he will do the right thing. (Oh, wait a minute, do I
hear Tammy Wynette in the background? LOL)
At The Hospital Brandon and Eugenia talk as she thanks him
for saving her earlier, calling him a hero. Sami rushes up
yelling for her to shut up. Brandon apologizes to Eugenia (for
Sami) and she leaves. Sami needles Brandon to find out what was
going on. He talks about how strange Eugenia is acting, like she
is indebted to him or something. Sami promises to handle her.
After Brandon leaves, Sami comes down on Eugenia, threatening her
yet again. (second verse, same as the first). Eugenia tells Sami
to be nice to which Sami informs her she doesn't DO nice. They
continue to argue until Eugenia just smiles at her then walks off.
Brandon drops by to visit with Lexie as he and Abe are actually
civil to each other. Lexie is restless so Abe suggests a game
that they play at parties "Truth and nothing but the truth".
(How contrived is THAT?) Lexie doesn't want to, but Abe persists.
Sami walks up overhearing the game (she overhears Brandon saying
that Lexie is lying) and panics. She storms in demanding to know
what is going on as they explain it's just a game about telling
the truth (something that Lexie points out Sami wouldn't
understand). Lexie comments how strange it is that neither Abe
nor Brandon can fool each other, almost like they can read each
others' minds. Eugenia comes in with papers to be signed as Lexie
defers to the "baby's father", leaving Eugenia in a
quandary. She eventually hands the papers to Abe as Sami tries to
get Brandon out of there. He refuses to leave, saying he is going
to stay around until Lexie is released. He tells a fuming Sami to
go on home.
At Lucas' Place
He and Denise return from a date and they chit-chat about various
things, especially about how much she likes Will and vise versa.
They hope to get to know each other better and talk about how
much they have in common (especially that both of them dislike
Sami. Well Lucas uses the word HATE). Lucas is glad that they are
taking things slow and not rushing things as they kiss. Sami
calls, reminding that he is to pick up Will at Shawn and
Caroline's in the morning. (Funny, he answers the phone thinking
it's Will calling and says "Hey Buddy". Sami assures
him that she is NOT his buddy). She begins by insulting Denise,
who Lucas defends, calling Sami a slut. They bicker back and
forth as we see Denise gathering her things to leave. Sami tells
Lucas to go to hell and he asks why, so he can be there for her
to torment. (These 2 always get the good zingers). When he gets
off the phone, Denise says it's clear what was going on, he was
fighting with his EX! . She, like us can see the sparks, and
decides to bow out gracefully. Lucas asks if he can call her and
she says it would be best not to and leaves. Later, Lucas is seen
arriving at this girls apartment (her name is Jewel and is
apparently a hooker).
At DiMansion
the party is rocking on. Some of the kids are laughing at Cassie
for being kicked off (one of them calls her bitchy). Everyone is
dancing as Chaz slips out to the terrace with Vin, who says he
has a surprise for Shawn Brady. He plans on spiking his drink.
Inside, Shawn and Belle banter about the show but she still won't
tell him the outcome. Rex tries to comfort Cassie, but she just
can't understand why she was dumped for she thinks she is MUCH
prettier and sexier than both Mimi and Belle (ego check). Rex and
Mimi dance then talk as she chatters on and on as you can clearly
see that he is smitten with her. Belle tries to get Shawn to
forget about the show but then another promo comes on as everyone
watches. Rex suggests some alone time so he and Mimi go upstairs.
Cassie is still upset so Chaz offers to distract her. She
suggests her bedroom so they go upstairs as well. Before they
leave, Chaz offers Belle and Shawn a drink which they accept.
Shawn ! notices that Vin is there (he is inside now) and wonders
why he is there. Chaz and Cassie go upstairs for a major tease
act with her stopping him and wanting to go back downstairs. In
Rex's room, Mimi notes how neat everything is. Rex stares at Mimi
as she comments that she feels like he is undressing her with his
eyes. She goes on to talk about how beautiful his eyes and asks
if they are cerulean or azure. He asks if he can kiss her and she
says she will just die if he doesn't. Rex says they are BLUE.
Back downstairs, Belle guzzles down her drink and then goes for
Shawn's. He sees Vin and Chaz watching them, so he slaps the
drink out of Belle's hands. Vin runs as Shawn takes down Chaz,
demanding to know what was in the drink. As he pins him to the
floor, he calls Bo. Bo gets off the phone and tells Hope that
something bad went down at the Dimera Mansion, as it fades to
black.
Preview:
Lucas (to Sami) "Sorry, but I just don't feel like having
sex with you right now" as a disgusted Sami says "Is
that ALL you think about?", Shawn and Chaz argue,
Marlena chastises Cassie because her boyfriend almost killed
Shawn and Belle. Cassie turns to Belle and says "I bet you
are just loving this aren't you?" as the credits roll.

Kate's at the airport, Lucas rescues Sami, Bo makes some progress
as does Mimi
Leaving On A Jet Plane
Kate sits at the airport for her flight to board as Roman tries
calling her on her cell. She knows it's him and ignores it. Roman
calls John asking if he knows where Kate is. He tells him he
knows but Kate had asked him to not tell Roman where she is (LOL,
a little get even for the bug Roman gave Marlena probably too).
Captain Brady calls Kate's voice mail and leaves a message that
he needs to talk with her and to call..ending with take care of
herself. (I think if he had said I love you it would've gotten
results).
The Black Penthouse
Marlena comes in and John wishes Kate hadn't involved him in her
love life, but will respect her wishes. Marlena is so glad John's
okay. They talk about Tony and his running a brothel. She can't
believe Tony believes he's helping women by advancing them to
"sleep to the top?". She's concerned about his example
of social skills to their children. John isn't defending Tony,
but knows there's worse going on out there then a brothel.
Marlena appreciates his reaching out to Cassie and Rex (tattoo
removal). Holding her hand on his chest, he says love can do
anything. The phone rings as they start to kiss (of course). It's
Belle. Marlena asks about her dating show, thinking that's why
Belle sounds so upset. Belle tells her Cassie was the one who got
the boot, not her. Belle tells her Cassie's party got a little
out of control and Bo and Hope are there and Tony's not home yet.
(you think Tony was in trouble before with Marlena) She tells
Belle she's! loving her and will be right over. Marlena fills
John in and they head over as well. Before leaving, she calls
Tony and asks where he is. He tells her meeting with a business
associate (ooooookkkkk, he does pay her so I guess that's
technically correct). She tells him a little of what happened and
he tells Tasha goodbye with a kiss and leaves. Lucas, who had
bumped into Tony in the brothel common room, tells Tony goodbye
and that he'll see him later. He gives a tip to his own paramour
and leaves as well.
Back To Salem USA Airport
Kate checks her voice mail and gets Roman's message. She calls
Lucas and tells him she's going on a business trip and will be
gone for a long time. He asks if Roman's going with her and she
tells him no. She asks for him to tell Will goodbye for her. She
takes her perfume out of her purse and remembers putting it on
Roman's cut in the elevator that time and then when he saved her
from the building in the earthquake.
Sami Asks Lucas For Help
Sami hangs up with a call from Brandon, telling him she loves him
and to hurry home. She hears a noise and goes to check it out,
but gets scared. After Lucas hangs up from his call from Kate,
Sami hears him in the hall and yanks him into her apartment,
saying she needs him. Recharged from his love fest, he tells Sami
he's not in the mood and gives her a hard time. She explains the
noise on the fire escape and he taunts her more. Scared, she
finally plays the Will card and he casually opens the window to
the fire escape and climbs out calling for the boogie man to
watch out. Sami calls out to see if he's okay and we hear a
scream. Sami is terrified and grabs Will's baseball bat. She
climbs out on the balcony and sees Lucas unconscious. She rushes
over to check on him and he yells Boo, causing her to jump and
the window slides shut. He tells her it was only some windchimes
that Will must have hung up clunking (didn't sound like clanging
to! me, more like a bird pecking a window..you be the judge) as
he holds them up. She can't get the window open and orders Lucas
to. He refuses taking any more orders from her. He asks if she's
not grateful for anything as he comments on it being spring and
how beautiful the stars are. She asks if he's on drugs. They talk
of old times when she sat by his bed telling him to die while in
the coma. He remembers people talking to him while in the coma,
even Will. Sami said that was a mistake to let Will see crispy
critter coma boy. Lucas said it wasn't as that's what brought him
back. He asks if she has any regrets or is happy with the way
she's lived her life. She tells him she regrets him getting joint
custody of her son. He wished he had let her fry on death row
when he had the chance. Thinking he means that, she tears up a
little. She tells him that Will loves him and wouldn't wish that
on him. He tells her Will loves her too. She asks him to open the
window and he does. She r! ushes in telling him goodbye and to go
to hell.
Rex & Mimi
Back at DiMansion, Mimi and Rex talk. He doesn't know what to do
about Cassie. She could be done with school too if her priorities
were different. He tells Mimi he's finished with school for the
year and took his finals weeks ago. He wants to live to his full
potential and needs her help and kisses her.
Brady Action
Bo and Hope arrive at DiMera Mansion and find out what happened.
Bo's eyes widen as he hears Chaz was trying to poison his son.
Rex stops kissing Mimi in his room upstairs and hears something
going on downstairs. Accusing him of having bionic ears (LOL),
Mimi follows him. They arrive just after Bo shooed the party gang
into the other room for questioning. Shawn tells Rex what
happened. Bo knows Vin Ramsel was too chicken to come after him,
so went after his son instead. (why didn't Shawn call his father
when he recognized Vin Ramsel at the party is what I'd like to
know) Chaz mouths off to Bo that he can't prove he did anything
and threatens to leave. Bo phones Roman and promises to add
resisting arrest if Chaz leaves. He tells Roman what happened and
wants forensics sent to the mansion and an APB out on Vin Ramsel.
Bo smells the carpet and gets a little rough with Chaz promising
attempted murder charge too. Mimi and Cassie get into it. Cassie
calls! Mimi a loser (as Rex thanks her sarcastically for the
insult to himself as well).
Tony arrives and Bo tells him what happened. He introduces Chaz
to Tony and lets him know he doesn't want to cross him (Tony).
Marlena shivers a little when Bo tells Tony that Belle almost
drank the toxic substance meant for Shawn. Tony asks Cassie what
happened to her little party and notices alcohol was served too.
Cassie tells "daddy" that Chaz is her boyfriend and
he's not pleased to meet him for the first time as he's arrested.
Bo informs him this isn't the first time either and will probably
be in lockup for most of his misguided youth now. Tony lashes out
at Cassie, but she whips out the tears and says she'd die if
anything happened to Belle, she's her sister after all. Tony
caves and hugs his distressed daughter (oh palleez). Privately
Marlena is worried about Belle. Belle tells her she wasn't
drinking. They go to the couch to talk as John tears into Tony,
asking if he was at the men's club partying it up when the kids
turned his home into party central. Tony asks! John where he was
and did he know where his daughter was? John explains his
daughter is 18 and a responsible adult. She didn't invite these
low lives and serve alcohol (as he picks up the Jim Beam bottle
that hasn't been dusted yet). Cassie and Rex do not have
experience in these situations and shouldn't be left to their own
devices. Tony comments that everything's rosy under John's roof
and walks out.
Salem PD arrives and Bo has them arrest Chaz. He tells forensic
to test the carpet and broken glass. The forensic guy asks Bo if
it's true his son was almost poisoned and Bo confirms it, saying
Ramsel and his buddy will live to regret it as Chaz is led away.
Marlena comforts Belle and Hope comforts Shawn in the background.
Cop Shop
Bo escorts Chaz and the cops to the cop shop and Roman. Belle,
Shawn, Marlena, John, Hope follow too. Roman and Bo step aside to
touch base. Being Chaz hasn't lawyered up yet, Bo wants to talk
with him as they know he's not as smart as Vin Ramsel. Belle's
worried about Shawn's safety and Roman wants to talk with each of
them separately for a statement. (was it wise for Roman to leave
Bo alone with the suspect who tried to poison his son?) Marlena
feels responsible being Cassie's parent too, but John says Tony
has custody, not her. Cassie rushes in looking for Chaz, telling
Marlena not to tell her how to feel as Chaz is her boyfriend.
Marlena mentions her sister was almost killed. Belle suggests
Cassie might have been part of it to get rid of her too. Cassie
tells Belle she wants to turn people away from her. Marlena tells
Cassie she thinks Cassie feels deeply and trying to fit in with
people. Cassie pulls the tears again and tells Marlena all she
wants ! is for people to like her and the harder she tries, the
more they hate her. Marlena hugs her.
John and Hope talk from afar as they watch what's going on. She
reminds him to be vigilant. Tony arrives to take Cassie home.
John offers the penthouse as an option. The two bicker and
Marlena comments Cassie's confused enough. Both John and Marlena
touch Cassie's should and reassure her she has family to count on.
Cassie does the tear routine and as soon as her head snuggles
into Tony's shoulder, smirks knowing she got away with it.
Belle tells Hope you would think Cassie was almost killed tonight
and not the one who started everything. Hope reminds Belle how
protective she was of Cassie when she first got to Salem. Belle
knows that everyone now is feeling too guilty to give Cassie the
tough love she really needs now.
Inside the office Bo tries to relate with Chaz and tells him
about the stolen microwave he gave Roman when he got married. He
clues Chaz in on knowing Vin is using Chaz. Saying it's his last
chance and not to blow it, come clean. Chaz agrees, saying he
doesn't know much though. Bo has him taken to interrogation.
Roman gives Bo the forensic results (wow, Grissom on CSI would be
proud!). They found cocaine tainted with arsenic. Bo's furious
and wants Vin Ramsel bad and leaves. Roman tries calling Kate's
cell again and she turns it off while standing in line to board
the plane. No luck on the APB for Ramsel and Bo knows he got away
and made fools of them again, as the previews roll for
Wednesday's show.
Preview:
Belle shows Shawn the purity ring she got for each of them as
a symbol of their love for each other. Jen and Jack welcome the
viewing audience to wedding central (we see a wedding cake on a
table). Sami tells Belle that she knows Brandon's going to
propose to her. Roman's on tv (looks like IN THE HOUSE set) and
has a message for Kate. He tells her he loves her and not leaving
until she comes there so he can tell her that to her face.

A day of commitment for our Salemites, as on In The House
Jack & Jen talk wedding plans, Brandon finally pops the
question to an anxious Sami, Belle & Shawn make a decision of
their own, & Roman tells the world those 3 magic words.
Sami & Belle are having breakfast at the
Brady Pub. Sami (who looks absolutely beautiful today) is
encouraging Belle to have sex. Belle will not discuss the subject
w/Sami and tells her No. Sami just goes on about Brandon, love,
and how much she is glowing, explaining that she is expecting a
proposal any time now. Belle leaves, lst calling Shawn, who says
he is on the pier and she agrees to meet him there. Sami checks
her phone, to find a message from Brandon, telling her to meet
him at Tuscany at 10:00 a.m.
On The Pier Shawn and a friend are just returning from
baseball practice. His friend comments about getting married in 4
weeks and cannot wait. Shawn says yes, he can imagine, since the
guy's fiancee', Shannon, mentioned to Belle about them waiting
til marriage to have sex. His friend considers Shannon very
special, and tho he is no saint, wanted her lst time to be
something she would not regret. When he said he couldn't wait, he
meant he could then catch up with the Cubs. (LOLOL) They talk a
bit about marriage, commitment, etc. and the friend leaves.
When Belle arrives, they talk of their love for each other,
mention they are 19, & Belle talks of how the stupid dating
show has cut into her study time. They talk of when the show will
be over, and they can focus on each other. Belle pulls out 2
purity rings, one for Shawn and one for her. Evidently there are
3 circles, bound together, and Belle explains one is for love of
God, one for love of herself, and o! ne for love of her future
spouse. Shawn takes her ring, she takes his. He puts it on her
finger, saying it will stay there until he will replace it with a
wedding ring. They proclaim their love and kiss.
Outside Sami's Apt, Lexie bumps into Eugenia, wondering what
she is doing there. Eugenia at first claims to be wanting to see
Sami, (she has papers in her hand) but then says it concerns
Lexie, too, and brings up the paternity test. Lexie interrupts,
saying she was embarrassed to have even had to have the test, it
is over and she wants to hear nothing more about it. Brandon
comes up, Eugenia leaves, and he invites Lexie in. He tells her
of his plans to marry Sami, Lexie is happy as perhaps with his
own family, he won't be hovering around hers any more. (LOL, go,
Lexie!) She tells him that both he and Sami are such obsessive
people, they may just be right for each other, wishes him good
luck and leaves. Later, Lexie is talking to someone on the phone,
telling about bumping into the lab technician who ran her
paternity test outside the apt. where Brandon lives. She tells of
Eugenia bringing up the paternity test, and in a very determined
manner, says don't worry, she! will handle it. (Hmmmm, now THAT
is veddy interesting!)
At The Airport Kate & another woman are sitting,
complaining of their plane being delayed, in spite of the fact
the weather seems bright and sunny. Kate checks her messages,
finding yet another one from Roman. Meanwhile at the cop shop,
Roman is frustrated at being unable to track down Kate. An
officer comes in, reminding him of how he reacted when Kate
professed her love (yeah, like a real jerk, even tho she had no
business using the police radio, lol) & asking if Roman ever
said those 3 little words to his lady. Roman says no, his
mistake, then the light bulb goes off, and he races outta there.
In The House is on the air, and the house is decorated big
time for a wedding. Lots of flowers trailing down the staircase,
over the doorways, 3 tiered wedding cake. Jack & Jen welcome
everyone, slice the cake to take a taste, deciding whether to
smash or not to smash, LOL, as Jen takes a taste. Two filled
champagne glasses get lifted in a toast. (Have to say, these two
make even humdrum commentary fun to watch). They are seated as
Jack reads from an open newspaper of the Figg ń Newton wedding,
hoping they hyphenate the name. He then sees the personal ads on
adjoining page, noting SNM & being shocked that they are into
S&M. Jen explains that it means Single Non-smoking Male. Jack
wonders how she knew that, & she explains about being an
intern at a newspaper, whose editor taught her everything (pointing
to Jack) & she used to have to proof read ads. They banter
back & forth about her meeting her true love thru the
newspaper (and don't you all! wish they would go back there!)
Next up is a dating video of Jack & Jen, showing how a date
can go. Jen asks about sports, Jack mentions the Cubs, and more
banter, with double entendres thrown around a bit. Now comes a
very animated Audrey Sims, the wedding planner, who arrives in a
wedding dress. A tiny fashion show follows, with Maggie modeling
a cream colored wedding suit (that woman always looks so gorgeous!)
and Jennifer coming in a strapless wedding dress that she seems
very happy about. She & Jack kiss. Back in their regular
clothes, with Jack giving Tuscany a plug as the place to have
your wedding (ah, and didn't the EE stage it's own April lst
J&J wedding there?) Maggie leaves. More wedding planning
talk, about favors, which Jack hates, themes such as a Luau, or
Wild West (both J&J laugh here, as that was their wedding
theme 10 years ago) As the 3 sit, supposedly working on home made
favors, Roman bursts in. He grabs the mike, and making a lot of
speech before he gets round to it, tells Kate and the whole world
that he loves her. He does make sure there is a big audience,
Jack assures him it is huge, but not as huge as Access Hollywood.
(Am guessing that is the show "Audrey" ordinarily works
on, love how they work these things in).
At the airport, Kate manages to see Roman's declaration, is very
surprised, and rather embarrassed. Her flight is called to board,
and she leaves.
In The House is finishing up, Roman keeps looking at his watch,
Jen tries to tell him that perhaps Kate did not even see the show.
As they start to say adios to the audience, in walks Kate. Cue
big, huge kissing scene, with everyone clapping.
Sami Walks Into A Darkened Tuscany, as Brandon turns on a low
light, revealing a small table, empty restaurant. They have it
til noon. Candles on the table, and he pours champagne. (hey, it
is 10:00 a.m., a bit early for that, Brandon). He drags this out
for an excrutiatingly long time. Sami tells him to forget the
atmosphere, she is so nervous he should just get on with it.
Finally he brings out the ring. But no, he drags it out even
longer. Slowly, getting up from table, goes around, slowly down
on one knee, and ever so slowly, Samantha Brady, Will you marry
me? Sami is practically going to faint by the time he gets
through, but yes, yes, big hug, big kiss.
Preview:
Hope, Marlena & Jennifer yelling Surprise to Lexie, Sami
showing her ring to Belle & Shawn, Sami tripping, falling
head first to the floor, while Lexie says something about Sami
knowing how to crash a party, Jen telling Hope that maybe Sami
will beat her to the altar, and Lexie saying "not in this
lifetime".

Sami crashes Lexie's baby shower, Kate and Roman pop by the pub,
and Shawn proves once again he's got the Brady blood in him.
Sami & Brandon arrive back to their apartment in bliss
over their engagement. In the hallway he says he'll be the best
husband to her and best stepfather to Will. Lucas opens the door,
not happy to hear that and asks Sami what she's trying to pull
now. Sami tells him she's engaged to Brandon and there's nothing
he can do about it. Will overhears from inside Lucas' apt. and
asks Sami if this just happened. She agrees and hopes he's happy
about it. Will asks if it's for real THIS time and when she tells
him yes, he tells her he's happy about it, even says it's great (Will's
been off taking nice lessons apparently!!) He had hoped they'd
both (looking at Sami and Lucas) get married this summer. Lucas
thought he meant to each other, but Will tells him duh, he meant
for mom and Brandon and Lucas with Denise. Will asks to go
upstairs to his friend's apartment and Brandon wants to take him
up so they can talk about wedding plans. Sami teases Lucas about
striking out with! Denise. Lucas and Sami bicker and she vents
about his not congratulating her. He just figures she duped
another guy and rants about her little diamond. He says after a
few more engagements she can make a choker from the engagement
diamonds and choke herself with it. She threatens to call Denise
and congratulate her on breaking up with Lucas. Brandon returns
and finds Sami upset in the apartment. He figures Lucas is just
hurt as he sees they're happy and in love. He tells her that
Lexie's at Tuscany for a baby shower and that Eugenia had told
him being she was invited. He reassures Sami he loves her and
dashes off to a page (guess he's on 24 hr. call). Sami rushes off
to Tuscany for any damage control.
Kate & Roman
Kate and Roman chuckle over their 30 seconds of fame as they
arrive at the Brady Pub. He confesses how he snapped when she
didn't return his calls and everything he said on tv was the
whole truth. She's loving it and wanting a repeat performance and
he obliges, followed by a kiss and hug. (Nice to see these two
happy!) Everyone in the pub awws and claps when they walk in and
Lisa tells them it was so romantic. Mom and Pop greet the couple
with hugs and smiles and want details about what happened. Kate
and Roman tell them and get more applause as they sit at the
booth to eat, both wearing grins a mile wide. They talk about
professing their love less publicly and he mentions how he was
given truth serum and found out his true feelings about her that
way. She's not pleased with the method it took. Holding her hands
he says it just forced some sense into his head. He realizes what
a jerk he was for not commiting to her before now. He admits what
happe! ned to Marlena in the past had prevented him from having
someone in his life. She doesn't want to just be a replacement.
He tells her he'll always love Marlena as a friend, but is high
on love with her now. She's the woman he's in love with. They
gaze in each others eyes before he reaches over the table and
kisses her. Pop and Caroline walk over and Pop teases them. Pop
wants Kate to come around more as they were about to give up on
Roman finding someone. Caroline suggests Shawn show Roman his new
car and Roman comments on her being subtle, LOL, as he heads out
with his father. Kate figures Caroline doesn't approve and think
she's all wrong for Roman. Caroline apologizes, saying she got
her all wrong and she's delighted for them. She explains how hurt
Roman was once and shut himself off for a long time. Kate tells
her she'd never do that and will do everything in her power to
make him happy. Caroline promises not to interfere anymore as
they're both adults and hopes she kno! ws what she's doing. Alone
waiting for Roman to return, Kate sips her coffee and remembers
her confession about her call girl past to Roman (while he was
sleeping). She mumbles he still doesn't know and he asks her what.
She tells him she has to return to Basic Black to call Italy and
cancel her trip. He offers to drive her, but she wants to walk (must
be close by in heels to walk). She kisses him goodbye and tells
him to stay and visit with his parents. She looks at him from the
window before leaving.
On The Pier
Belle and Shawn kiss on a bench when his cell rings. It's Mickey.
He has another job for him. He wants Shawn to talk with a hostess
from Echelon who could give evidence on the mayor. This hostess'
day job is a waitress at Tuscany. Belle wants to join him so they
head off to Tuscany.
Tuscany
Lexie arrives and Maggie asks if she's there for lunch. She tells
her she's meeting Hope and Marlena. Maggie escorts her in and is
surprised to see Hope, Marlena, and Jen saying SURPRISE. The
table is decked out with flower arrangements and balloons.
Marlena said Celeste couldn't catch a flight (from where?) but is
there (said in her mystical whisper) in "spirit", LOL.
Hope said Gran's babysitting Zack, so couldn't make it, but sent
a gift and a basket of special donuts for the new father. Eugenia
runs in late. Eugenia is introduced to Jen and she tells Jen she
watches In the House all the time (must be a tv in the
lab?) and asks if Jack's as cute as he looks on tv? Jen agrees.
Lexie orders herbal ice tea and Eugenia seconds that. Lexie asks
if she doesn't want to order a real drink, but Eugenia confesses
having to go back to work after lunch. Jen asks what women did
before Lamaz classes and they talk about how great a dad Abe will
be. Ice teas ar! e served to all it appears and Hope makes a
toast to the new parents.
Lexie opens gifts and gets baby clothes from Eugenia and a
stuffed rabbit from Alice. Belle and Shawn arrive in the midst of
the shower. He doesn't want any part of it and Maggie quietly
points out the waitress at the bar, saying Mickey called. Hope's
confused by it all, but lets it go. Shawn goes to talk with Anna
Beth. She accuses him of being a little young to hit on her. She
asks him to tell her what he likes, and knowing you Shawn fans
out there want every item, here they are, double java mocha
lattes, yellow mustard on hot dogs, geometrically designed t-shirts,
rainy days when the power goes off (only if he's not alone).
Looking at Belle, who he sees is lurking nearby, he says building
snowmen on mountain tops and counting the stars in the sky at
midnight. He asks her to pretend he's getting somewhere. She asks
questions next, and he replies short haired dogs and long haired
cats..she asks bikinis, briefs or boxers and he tells her briefs
with days of the week embroide! red on them. Camera pans on
Belle's reaction when he says that, haha. She asks his favorite
day of the week and he tells her Saturday and loves Sat. morning
cartoons, especially Superman. He brings the reference to ask her
to do the right thing, like testify for Ben Wells parents. She
isn't convinced her testimony would help and she offers to do
what she can. He encourages to go now, but she's nervous about
taking off work, so Shawn asks Maggie for her. Maggie tells her
to take the rest of the day off with pay to do it and she's proud
of her. Anna Beth thanks Shawn, telling him it was fun. Shawn
apologizes for making Maggie shorthanded now.
Lexie pulls Hope aside to confirm she hadn't told Bo about her
confession to sleeping with Brandon. Of course Eugenia overhears
this and exchanges looks with Lexie as she hugs Hope. Eugenia
goes to leave, but Lexie pulls her aside to talk hospital gossip
first. They return to opening gifts and Lexie opens a light blue
hand knitted gift from Marlena. Hope said the last time she got
something knitted from Marlena was when she had Shawn (we need to
see Marlena knitting now and then).
Sami arrives and Maggie won't let her in and goes to get Marlena.
Sami barges in and trips on something and falls flat on the floor.
While others are worried she's hurt, Lexie softly tells herself
that Sami always knows how to crash a party, LOL. Sami's not hurt
and Marlena asks why she's there. Sami said the hospital sent her
to talk to Eugenia about hospital business and excuses them. Love
how Eugenia rolls her eyes as they walk away. Eugenia said she's
enjoying seeing Lexie so happy and returns when they announce
Lexie's cutting the cake. Sami suggests staying, but Marlena
softly clues her daughter in that she wasn't invited and should
leave showing some style and grace. Marlena starts to walk her
out, but Lexie invites Sami to stay for cake, so she bounces back
and sits next to Lexie. She announces her engagement to Brandon,
but Lexie doesn't act surprised saying she knew and it's old news
(slap). Before they get into it, Marlena, Hope and Jen ask Sami
to show them he! r ring and she rushes to do so. Belle and Shawn
walk up and Belle hugs her sister, commenting she knew how
desperately Sami wanted this. Offended, Sami protests, but
Marlena rescues the situation and asks Sami to come over to the
light to see the ring better and they walk away. Sami hopes her
mother is happy for her. Sami knows this is going to work and
hugs her mom as Lexie smiles cattily from the table at her. Jen
comments how Sami always manages to become the center of
attention and Hope warns Jen to make sure they aren't getting
married on the same day.
Shawn confesses to Belle that he can't remember everything he
rattled off to Anna Beth, but it worked. Watching Sami, Belle
hopes it works this time as so much secrets, lies and
manipulation are Sami's methods with a guy and it always seems to
backfire. She reminds him the second segment of Love is Blind
airs that night and they're going to meet at the Pub to watch it
with everyone there. He's frustrated she won't tell him what
happens on the show.
Back at the table, Maggie serves the cut cake and they all rave
over it. Lexie picks up the vibes around the table and says out
loud what they're all thinking, that Sami and Brandon will never
make it to the altar, not in this life time, as the camera pans
to Sami as she's glowing over her engagement while talking to
Marlena, as the previews for tomorrow roll.
Preview:
Rex asks Mimi for her helping and tells her it will be
dangerous. Cassie asks Shawn if he's man enough to take what she
has to give as he turns around to face her as Belle walks in.
Love is Blind second episode is on as the hunk is asked to
decide between Mimi and Belle, he's made up his mind. Hope says
she's never seen Bo like this before. Freeze frame of Bo
as we hear him say "I've had it, I quit", as the
credits roll.

Cassie makes a play for Shawn, Rex conducts an
experiment on Mimi, the gang watches 'Love is Blind' at the pub,
Victor and Kate are actually civil to one another over a common
concern, Bo and Abe have it out, resulting in Bo quitting the
force. (Thumbs up in the acting department for both Peter Reckell
and James Reynolds, powerful scenes for both of them).
At The Hartley House
Belle and Shawn are getting ready to go down to the pub to watch
the show, but she can't decide on what to wear and goes to change
one more time. As he waits in the hallway, Cassie comes by as he
questions her about Chaz and warns her to stay away from him, he
is bad news. She is highly offended by this and begins to smart
off to him. She says that just because he is a Brady, he thinks
he is so superior and tells him to butt out. They argue and she
asks if he is just jealous. Shawn tells her to get over herself
and that he cares because she is Belle's sister and Belle cares
about her and they don't want to see her get hurt. Seeing he is
getting nowhere, he finally just throws up his arms and tells her
to just do whatever she wants. She comes on to him, asking if he
wants a sample of what he is missing and tries to kiss him, just
as Belle is walking out (Shawn's back is to Belle and he doesn't
see her). But he does the right thing and push! es Cassie away.
Cassie notices their purity rings and, of course, makes fun of
them. She cracks that she can tell that Shawn isn't going to be
having much fun in the future. Cassie an Belle argue as Cassie
snipes at them and huffs off. Shawn tells Belle that Cassie is
really screwed up and that SHE is the only girl for him.
Over At DiMansion
Rex is in his room talking to his recorder about unlocking his
DNA when Mimi arrives. He tells her that he needs her help with
an experiment as he pulls out a syringe. (LOL at the look on her
face in the background.) He wants a blood sample from a "regular"
person to compare his to. He assures her it will be painless as
he has already drawn his own blood. She reluctantly gives in and
they kiss. As she sits there chattering, he informs her that he
is finished as she is amazed that she didn't feel a thing. She is
amazed by his abilities and suggests he go into medicine,
pointing out that he would make a great doctor. She remembers why
she came and wants him to accompany her to the pub to watch the
show. She gives him the pouty face and he says he can't resist,
so they hurry off to the pub.
At Tuscany
Victor is there on the phone when Kate rushes in with upsetting
news, she just learned that Philip's unit has been deployed
overseas to the war. Victor already knew about it (I think Philip
had called him) and Kate is upset because she didn't know. Victor
says that Philip didn't want to upset her. She says she had
called the base and was told and is upset that Victor didn't tell
her either. She falls to pieces as Victor assures her that Philip
will be fine and he tries to calm her fears. Victor tells Kate
that Philip isn't a little boy anymore, he is a man and is trying
to stand on his own. He assures her that Philip will be fine, he
is a Kiriakis, and a survivor. She is still worried though and
can't understand why Philip didn't call and say goodbye. She
waxes nostalgic and talks about how upset Philip was because she
and Victor never got back together and then comments on Victor's
miserable marriage to Nicole. He turns the tables and comments
about t! he spectacle she and Roman made on TV earlier. She
defends Roman, even though she feels that it is SHE that isn't
good enough for Roman. Victor knows what she is talking about and
tells her not to worry, he has all the evidence locked away and
no one will ever know about her past. But she says that Sami
knows, but Victor promises to keep Sami under control as well. He
tells Kate to just put the past where it belongs, behind her and
move on. But she worries about building a relationship on a lie.
She finally agrees that maybe Victor is right, but worries about
down the road. Victor advises her to live in the moment and to be
happy. She thanks him and goes to leave and he promises to call
her if he hears anymore from Philip.
At The Brady Pub
Everyone is gathering for the show as Rex and Mimi arrive. Cassie
is already there whining and moaning about the "lame crowd"
that is there. Outside, Belle and Shawn arrive and as they kiss,
he spots Chaz lurking in the shadows. Shawn sends Belle on inside
and confronts Chaz. He tries to go in, but Shawn stops him,
pointing out that this is the BRADY pub and that he is NOT
welcome. Once inside, Shawn tells Belle, with Cassie overhearing
and getting huffy about it. The show starts as all gather around
the TV. The show opens with an animated boot kicking Cassie off
the show. She immediately gets upset and goes off to pout from
the bar. Gabby sets up the show as Belle and Mimi meet the
mystery hunk for a lunch date. First up, he asks the girls to
order lunch for him, Mimi orders him the "all American"
cheeseburger and fries. Belle, on the other hand, orders him
liver and onions (gag) which the guy says he loves. He begins
with the questions and ask! s them where they would rather make
out, etc. Belle's answers are not that great (okay, it's obvious
that she is trying to blow the date). He asks them about their
favorite pet. Belle answers with a cat (as Cassie pops up on the
screen commenting that she will scratch the guy's eyes out). Mimi
picks a pooch with Cassie commenting that "dogs go for dogs,
let's send this bitch back to the pound". While watching the
show (obviously Belle and Mimi didn't know about his part) they
are beginning to get highly offended. He asks them about
childhood memories. Mimi tells of her 9th birthday party where
her uncle ran over bike and then while blowing out the candles on
her cake, her hair caught on fire (LOL). Belle tells of going to
the planetarium in the 3rd grade and riding the simulator and
throwing up everywhere. Cassie pops in and comments that they
both make her want to hurl, get this guy a stomach pump. As they
shoot her mean looks from across the pub, she smirks at them.
During ! the commercial break, Mimi is embarrassed at her
performance, but Rex assures her that she was great. Belle clues
Shawn in that she wsa trying to throw it and not wanting to win.
The show comes back on as the guy says he has made his decision.
Down At The Cop Shop
Bo storms into Abe's office and they argue about finding Ramsel.
Abe tries to calm him down, but no such doing. Bo is really
worked up and flies off the handle and tells Abe that he quits.
Abe asks him to just take a break and think it over but Bo says
he can't take it anymore, he is just so frustrated and can't do
what he needs to by following the rules. He says this is
something he needs to do for himself. Bo says the criminals can
come after him all they want to, but NO ONE threatens his family.
Abe tries to convince Bo that he is making a mistake, and vows
that they will catch Ramsel. Abe lectures him about being proud
to be a cop and making a difference. Bo says that he IS proud of
Abe, but this isn't the life for him anymore and he just can't
continue. (Lots of di! alogue here and both deliver it perfectly,
must-see scenes). All misty-eyed, he hands over his badge and gun
and says it's over he can't and won't do it anymore. He heads for
the door, pauses, but then continues out the door with Abe
watching from the background.
At The Brady House
Alice and Hope are enjoying a quiet evening at home where they
are watching ėLove is Blind' as well. During breaks, they talk
about the episode with Shawn almost being poisoned and how Hope
is really worried about Bo. She just hopes he won't do anything
rash as Alice agrees. She only wants their lives back to normal (in
Salem???) Bo comes in as they can both tell that something is
wrong. He only says he had a rough day and is going to the
basement to work out. Later, after Hope has taken Alice home (Alice
suggested they need time alone). Hope asks what is wrong. Bo
tells her that he quite the force and she is shocked. She is
speechless but finally tells him that she is sure he has his
reasons and will back him 100% but still wants to know what
happened. He tells her that he will explain later and holds her
tight. He tells her that right now, they need to think about
their future, as the previews roll.
Preview:
Shawn tells Belle that he loves her and no one else, she says
that she loves him as well and that a pack of wild hunks couldn't
tear her away, Mimi walks in to find Rex shirtless on the bed
saying "Finally, we're alone". She says "I guess
it never hurts to see what's behind door #2!" (These
2 previews lead me to believe that Mimi is the next one booted
from 'LIB'), A man holds a gun to Sami's head (looks like at the
Blue Note) and tells Tony that if he takes one step, she will get
it.
