MONDAY, APRIL 28TH, 2003

Salem continues to shake as Lexie is trapped in a pit, Kate is
trapped in a crumbling building, Victor and Nicole are trapped in
their limo, John is trapped in a sauna, Brady is missing, and
wouldn't you know it? NO ONE's cell phones work!!! Meanwhile, at
the hospital, Shawn, Belle, Mimi, Rex and Cassie volunteer to
help out.
In Her Room
Chloe is terrified as another tremor hits. A nurse comes in to
check on her, but Chloe is worried about Brady and she hasn't
heard from him. She fears the worst as she keeps calling his cell
phone but gets no answer. She wants to go hunt for him, but the
nurse talks her out of it. After the nurse leaves, Chloe undoes
her IV and decides to go and look for him herself and sneaks out
of her room.
In Their limo
Nicole comes to but Victor and Don (the driver) are out cold. She
tries all the doors and sunroof, but can't get out. She checks
Victor's pulse and realizes that he is still alive and notes that
he IS indestructible. She whips out her cell phone (starting a
trend here) but there is no signal. She finds a corkscrew in the
floorboard (good thing she is a drunk, huh?) and leans over
towards her beloved, prepared to seize the opportunity to put him
out of his misery. But a knock on the window stops her. It is
Brady who spotted their car. She lamely tells him that she was
going to use the corkscrew to break the window. He works on the
doors and finally gets one of them open. He gets in and checks
Victor, telling her that his pulse is very weak and they must get
him to the hospital.
In The Old Building
Kate holds on as the shaking continues and she keeps pressing the
down button for the elevator. She whips out her cell phone, but
has no signal. She thinks it might work on the roof, but can't
get the door open. She is terrified as the building begins to
crack and moan around her. Then she hears Roman's voice calling
for her. She follows his voice to the window and sees him across
the way in another building. He tells her to shut up and listen,
he has a plan to save her. They bicker back and forth as he
informs her that the elevator shaft has collapsed and that the
stairs are too dangerous and unstable. She is becoming slowing
hysterical as he tells her to move away from the window. He fires
one of those climbing ropes into the building (you know, the ones
with an anchor type thing on one end) and tells her to secure it.
He ties his end off and tells a bewildered Kate that he is going
to help her climb across. She flatly refuses, saying she ! is
terrified of heights. So he goes out the window and begins
working his way over to her.
Down At The Cop Shop
it is hopping with activity as Abe remains worried sick about
Lexie. Roman finds out from Kate's secretary that she is missing
and then a fireman tells him about a building collapsing in the
area Kate is in. Abe tells him to go and Roman rushes off. Abe
keeps trying to leave as well (to look for Lexie) but keeps
getting stopped with one emergency after another. He keeps
calling her cell phone, but there is no answer. Finally he gets
free and rushes out the door.
Speaking Of Lexie
We see her down in a pit on the DiMera estate. She comes to,
dazed and confused, yelling for help. She tries her cell phone
but it won't work. She begins to have pains as she holds her
stomach and talks to the baby. Using her scarf (tying it on to
roots) she tries to climb out, but one of the roots breaks and
she falls back down into the pit. When she comes to again, she
feels that something isn't right. She gets up and begins to have
pains. She prays to God that she isn't going into labor.
In The Hospital Trauma Center
Pandemonium is the order of the day as Craig is directing
personnel and patients around. Belle, Shawn, Mimi, Rex and Cassie
show up to help out. Mimi explains that she and Belle were candy
stripers as Cassie makes fun of them, saying what does that make
them, one step below a surgeon? Rex tells Cassie he has something
to take care of and disappears. Cassie decides that SHE needs
more coffee. Near the coffee pot, she finds a little girl crying
and in the process proves that she indeed HAS A HEART. She finds
out that the little girl's parents were injured and she is
frightened. So Cassie promises to stay with her as she holds her.
Later, she checks with the nurses and informs the little girl
that her parents are okay. She tells the little girl that she
lost her parents when she was young but that hers are okay. She
sees her mom and dad and rushes to them and introduces her new
friend Cassie and hugs her. They thank her for her help a! nd
leave. Belle and Shawn talk about how a situation like this makes
you put everything in perspective as he apologizes for they way
he had been treating her and talks about how much she means to
him. Meanwhile, Mimi is helping bandage a girl's wrist and she
recognizes her as "flirty Mimi". She tell Mimi that is
what they call her on the ëLove is Blind' promos that are airing.
Cassie walks up as Mimi excitedly tells her about being
recognized. The girl also recognizes Cassie and then Belle when
she walks up. She is telling them about the promos as it comes on
the TV. They all watch (too funny, it calls Mimi "fun and
flirty", Belle "adorable and vivacious" and Cassie
"slinky and sultry" (she LIKES that). Mimi and Belle
seem somewhat embarrassed but Shawn goes off, telling them all
that it will turn into a circus and says that it is just a stupid
game show and that there are more important things to worry about.
Meanwhile, Chloe is wandering the halls, but tires out and sits
down. Craig finds out that she is missing and organizes a search
party. He finds her and lectures her, then gets her back to her
room. She is running a fever and she fears the worst.
Shawn, Belle and Mimi hear about problems down at the homeless
shelter and decide to head down there to volunteer. Cassie finds
Rex (I don't think we ever found out what he went off to do) and
is chattering about being on TV. She tells him about how Tony
went into action upon learning about his kidnapping. He has now
had a taste of the kind of power that Tony has and he likes it,
telling Cassie that they were created for a purpose, but she is
uninterested in finding out what that purpose is. Shawn, Mimi and
Belle ask them if they want to go with them, but Cassie declines.
After they are gone, she tells Rex he is right, they are DiMeras
and they have better things to do.
At The Titan Gym
John is yelling and banging on the window of the steam room as he
sees Tony lying on the floor. He tries to make a call on his cell
phone, but you guessed it, no service. Tony comes to and see
John, who is begging Tony to help him, but Tony just sits and
looks on. Finally Tony tells him to give him one good reason why
he should help him. He slowly gets up and reminds John about
holding him over a pit on DiMera Island. John keeps begging for
help but Tony tells him that he is sorry, but he has to go. He
tells John not to worry about Marlena, for he will comfort her in
her time of grief. John pleads for help as Tony calls him
pathetic and says he needs to do something before he leaves. He
goes over and turns up the thermostat to the steam room and heads
for the door as we see John beating on the window and calling him
a son of a bitch, as the previews roll.
Preview:
Kate and Roman are arguing with her saying that she is NOT
going out that window,
Eugenia tells Sami that Brandon deserves to know the truth.
Sami says that if he finds out he is the father of Lexie's baby,
it will destroy him. Then we see Lexie with a startled look on
her face (did she hear?) Marlena asks Tony where John is. Tony
says he was with him at the gym earlier, as we see John yelling
for help.

TUESDAY, APRIL 29TH, 2003

This show is the RESCUE show as Lexie, Kate, Eugenia, Marlena,
Victor, Tony and John all manage to get help.
Sami finds Brandon at the hospital. Not seeing the urgency as
to why he was called in, she tells him she'll stay around in case
she's needed. She tears into Eugenia for calling Brandon back to
work, telling her what she interrupted. Eugenia replies it's
probably the only good thing that came out of the earthquake. (LOL)
Sami catches Eugenia by the ladies room. She threatens to expose
her lab mistake if she blabs on her switching Lexie's dna test
results. The two face off as we seeing the bolts loosening on the
overhead fixtures above them. Brandon joins them in the hall
asking what they're arguing about. They cover saying how Sami was
upset she pulled him away from the resort. Eugenia leaves and
Sami suggests they head back to the resort after hearing the kids
have settled down. He knows he's still needed and rushes off
after being paged. Sami and Eugenia exchange last words before
Sami tells Eugenia to go to hell and walks off. Brandon rounds
the corner and pulls ! Eugenia away just in time before the
fixture falls. Sami returns, apparently surprised herself at what
happened. Eugenia asks Brandon how she can repay him for saving
her. Sami offers to take over and suggests Eugenia go to the
lounge for some tea to calm down. Lexie is rolled in as Brandon
rushes to her side. Sami follows Brandon. Abe rushes in to
Lexie's side as she cries worried about their son. Dr. Bader
orders an IV drip and heads out to check on a delivery room, just
in case (isn't that a nurse's job doc while YOU check on the
patient?) Lexie tells Abe about falling in the hole and how
someone saved her. She's never seen him before, but he was an
angel. Dr. Bader rushes in as the others are rushed out. She
talks about going to stop the contractions, but the baby may be
too advanced. Lexie panics, saying it's too early and she can't
lose her baby.
Lexie is hysterical in the pit. Ops is searching DiMera
estate with his flashlight, reporting his actions via ISA
satellite link. As he's about to enter the house he hears Lexie
yelling for help and rushes to find her. He finds the pit she's
in and she frantically tells him she's in labor and needs help.
He tries to calm her as he assures her he'll get her out of there.
He pulls her out of the pit and lies her on the ground. He dashes
away and tells the contact on his headset to call for an
ambulance as there's a woman in the labor. He doesn't have time
to explain as Lexie screams in pain. We hear an ambulance as Ops
grabs his gear and says he'll show them where she is. She doesn't
want him to leave her, but he dashes around the corner just
before the paramedics find her and attend her. Lexie remembers
telling Abe about the baby and having premature pains. She
remembers Abe after seeing the Lamaz childbirth video and Abe
saying he can't wait to meet their son. The ! paramedics roll her
to the ambulance.
Brady & Nicole run into the trauma center asking for help
for her husband and their driver. Victor is wheeled in as they
report he's in full cardiac arrest. Nicole and Brady are told to
stay on the other side of the curtain. She tells him she knows
he'd rather be with Chloe and to leave. Why does he care if the
old geezer kicks it. Cue surprised look on Brady's face. He
checks with the nurse and asks Chloe Lane be told he's there and
okay (why not just run up the stairs real quick?). The nurse
heads off to send someone with the message. Nicole rounds the
corner, surprised he's still there. He returns and the nurse lets
him in to see Victor, saying Victor requested to see him, alone.
Victor asks about the driver and Brady tells him it was only
superficial. Nicole eavesdrops as Victor thanks Brady for saving
his life, knowing others might not have done so. Victor tells
Brady that bringing him onboard was the best decision he's ever
made. He wants him close by to carry! out his orders at Titan.
Brady didn't plan on running the company so soon, but with Victor
as his mentor he should be able to do it. He excuses himself,
telling Victor to rest. Nicole asks what Victor told him, but
Brady tells her it's none of his business. Nicole talks to Victor
and he tells her he knows she hovered over him after the accident
and could have let him die. She tells him to get well and then
they can start fighting again. He mumbles thank you (I think) and
she turns wishing he meant it, and walks out.
Chloe wakes up and seeing Craig looking at her chart, calls
"Dad" to him and apologizes (awww). He assures her
everything and he'll take care of her as she tearfully looks at
him. Until she knows Brady's okay, she won't calm down. She
doesn't know if she could live without him. Craig joins her later
explaining that someone in the trauma center called with Brady's
message. Relieved Brady's okay, she asks Craig to look after
Brady's grandfather and not worry about her. Alone she tells
Brady to hurry.
Kate helps Roman into the building, tearing into him for risking
his life. The building cracking makes noise as she panics with
Roman calming her down. She refuses to use the rope he came over
on. They argue about it as he insists on it, claiming she'll live
to hate him for it. We return to find Kate's got the harness belt
around her waist, but too terrified to use it. Roman kisses her,
telling her to focus on him as he backs up toward the window
while the ceiling starts to crumble. Trying to distract Kate by
talking about the steak dinner they'll have to celebrate, she
looks out the window and faints after saying she can't do this.
Roman looks up, thanking God for the lucky break, as he hooks up
her belt to the rope. We see him pulling Kate into the room on
the other side as he wakes her up. She wakes up saying his name
as she realizes where she is. He tells her she can give him her
undying gratitude now.

John is down to his sexy shorts in the sauna. He tries his
cell and upset there's no signal (waiting for the Verizon guy to
show up asking if he can hear him now, ha!). He tries to get the
plate off the wall to turn off the heat, but without a
screwdriver, can't get it. Reading my mind, he disassembles his
cellphone for parts to unscrew the plate. He gets the plate off
and unfastens the electrical connection, relieved the heat will
stop. His strength isn't depleted as he manages to pull one of
the bench boards out. He vaults the board through the sauna glass
window, breathes fresh air and uses the board to pry the weight
stand away from the door, then push the door open with the 3
barbells jammed against the door. He collapses on the floor in
relief just as Ops runs in (that guy is FAST!!) John asks for
water as Ops notes that John is burning up, saying he can't leave
him for a second (LOL!). He hands John a bottle of water as John
gulps it as pours it over his hea! d as he reports DiMera tried
to cook his goose. Ops reminds John if Tony's trying to kill him,
he definitely needs back up. John realizes he now has a valid
reason to hate Tony that even Marlena would understand.
Abe is still at the cop shop, worried about Lexie. An officer
reports a 911 call came in reporting a woman in labor at the
DiMera estate (the other party Ops was talking to must have been
in Salem to dial 911). Abe knows it must be Lexie and runs out
the door.
Brady looks into Chloe's room. She turns and smiles at seeing
him. We return to him gowned up as she mentions how much they
have to be thankful for.
Kate & Roman are at the hospital after he had her checked
out. She was fine. He asks if that proves something to her and
she concludes he'd rather risk falling from a high rise for her
then telling her he loves her as she walks away leaving him
baffled.
Lexie's contractions decrease a little as Dr. Bader talks to
Abe outside the room. Sami also arrives and looks in as Eugenia
joins her. After Brandon saved her life, she feels he deserves
the truth. Lexie can see them arguing outside in the hall.
Tony is relieved when Eugenia tells him his children are safe
and sound at the hospital. He rushes into the elevator where
Marlena is. They head down to the cafeteria to see Cassie and Rex.
Seeing his cut face, she asks about the "other guy".
She figured John and Tony would be at Police headquarters with
the man who had Rex hostage. She asks if he knows where John is
as he isn't answering his cellphone. He remembers his parting
scene to John as he turns up the heat. She asks him to tell her
where John is if he knows. Before he can answer, the power goes
out and the elevator stops in place. (hello, you DON'T use an
elevator during earthquakes!!) The phone either isn't there or
not working as well. Tony calls out if anyone is there and can
hear him (I'm dying here, Tony wants to be the Verizon man, LOL!!)
Marlena is calm, saying the staff uses the elevator (apparently
no safety emergency classes are taught there..tsk tsk) and will
find them soon. She asks again about John. He tells her he saw
John at the gym earlier and left after John accused him of
setting up his own son's kidnapping, before the earthquake.
Marlena hopes John's okay and suggests Tony get the wound on his
face looked at when they get out. He mumbles about how John came
at him which surprises Marlena. Tony tells her that he thought
John was going to kill him and pretends to be light headed. She
insists he lie down on the floor as she hold him on her lap and
strokes his head (as he smiles). The elevator returns to motion
as they stand up. Tony tells Marlena he's fine and she works
miracles. They thank the maintenance man as the elevator door
opens. Marlena dashes off to find John. Realizing why Marlena
wants to find John, Tony laughs to himself as the previews for
tomorrow roll.
Preview:
Sami tells Eugenia that she can't tell Brandon he's the baby's
father as she knows he'd claim it as his own.. Brandon's in the
chapel and says if he's the baby's father he'd promise to give
him the kind of life he never got, Lexie is in labor, saying it's
happening, as Abe wipes her forehead, John tells Marlena that
Tony DiMera tried to kill him tonight.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30TH, 2003

The meds finally take effect for Lexie, as Marlena questions
herself, John confronts Tony, and Rex makes what Cassie thinks is
a drastic decision.
DiMansion
Rex is listening to radio reports of all the havoc wrecked in
Salem by the earthquake. The announcer says it amounts to over 10
million dollars (bet your hefty allowance won't cover that, Rex)
as Cassie walks in. She gives him a hard time about causing all
the problems with the earthquake. (The epicenter is said to be
downtown) Rex defends himself, and his scientific knowledge/ambition,
his need to follow up, and how he had given no thought to what
could happen if things went wrong, but it adds to his knowledge.
Cassie reminds him that it was an accident, someone knocked over
his machine. Rex wants control of his destiny, wants to unlock
his DNA secrets, know how he is wired genetically. Wants the whys
and wherefores of his personality and brain power. Cassie pleads
no, saying since they're twins, hers will be unlocked, too, - she
wants to be normal, not a freak. Rex ignores her, says he has to
find his destiny.
Salem Hospital
Lexie continues her labor pains as Abe comforts her. Outside the
cubicle, Brandon stands, worried, as Sami comes up, cheerfully
trying to distract him, wanting to leave, but Brandon has
patients. Sami accosts Eugenia, arguing w/her about telling
Brandon that Sami changed the test results. She tells Eugenia
about Brandon's hatred of Abe, due to his mother and Abe's affair
years ago, and pulls the "for the sake of the baby"
card. Meanwhile Brandon is flashing back (this is a new one, must
have been filmed for this episode) to being a little boy, on a
hospital bed, as Paul explains to the doctor how the boy fell,
causing all the bruising. The doctor leaves, and Paul tells both
Fay and little Brandon to keep their mouths shut, & that Fay,
the slut, got what she deserved, her and Abe Carver. Meanwhile,
the meds begin to do their job, Lexie's contractions slow down,
and Dr. Bader says she should rest.
Brandon heads for the chapel, where he talks! aloud to God,
saying he knows he is not the father of Lexie's child, but that
God knows why he feels a connection, and talks of how he would
protect that child at all costs. Abe comes in, wondering what
Brandon is doing there. He tells him Lexie is O.K., meds are
working, saying he knows Brandon hates him, asking why. Brandon
says people who do bad things shouldn't come out on top, it
offends him. (Hmmmm, that doesn't apply to Sami, huh, Brandon?)
Abe says he knows Brandon is offendedby his "past sins"
but that if he really wants to be a man, he should grow up, let
it go, but Brandon says he can't. Sami, meanwhile, has accosted
Eugenia a few times warning her to keep quiet. Brandon goes to
say hi to Lexie, with Sami close behind him. She has been
suggesting returning to the resort, going for coffee, etc. all to
get him to continue with the question he was ready to pop. (Rather
an obvious eager beaver, our Sami, lolol). But Brandon is
distracted, finally tells her they shou! ld just go home. She
stops by Eugenia's once more to make sure she wil l keep quiet.
Eugenia caves in, but as Sami turns away, Eugenia tells herself
"for now".
John & Ops are still in the gym, with Ops tracking Tony's
car. He notes the neighborhood, and John realizes it is Echelon.
He leaves, promising to go after that SOB. Joshn, now fully
dressed, approaches the Echelon door, but is stopped by one of
Tony's goons, who says the place is closed. John claims to have
lost a wallet, called and was told to come pick it up. The goon
says no, John leaves, the goon locks the door, leaves, John
returns and picks the lock.
Meanwhile, Tony has arrived a bit earlier, now in a suit, to meet
a newly arrived man. (never hear his name) They talk of the
quake, and Tony tells of being caught in an elevator, yakking
about how well it turned out, even mentioning he was stuck w/a
woman. Later they go over a business contract, agreeing it will
make profit for them both, as Tony says the evening was a good
one, he sealed a deal, and got rid of a competitor. The man
leaves, and Tony is in the darkened club alone, as John's voice
says, "So you got rid of a competitor" and chuckles as
he says "I don't think so" Tony queries..John? But John
replies that John is dead, you killed him and I came back to
haunt you. Tony is startled, as turns on the lights, to see John
comfortably seated, arms folded, up on the stage. John calls Tony
a sick SOB and they argue. Tony denies wanting John dead, admits
to wanting Marlena, wanting John to know what it feels like to
lose his wife to Tony, like Tony felt when John took his wife
from him. John is angry, telling Tony to admit trying to kill
him, and grabs him close, but the goon comes in with a gun,
saving the day for Tony. John leaves, telling Tony that he
overplayed his hand, screwed up, and will regret it.
Marlena's Office
Marlena is dictating notes into a recorder about a patient's
anxiety over the recent earthquake, which has heightened her
fears since 9/11. She finishes up the notes, turns machine off,
then back on, as she begins a long soliloquy about this woman,
referring to herself lst in 3rd person, then finally talking lst
person, who is losing control. Marlena struggles with herself,
examining her feelings for Tony, wondering why she is drawn to
him, when she loves John so much. She wrestles w/her conscience,
all her whys, the positive things that make her life so blessed,
but wonders about her addiction to danger, and that Tony is
danger. He unsettles and unnerves her. She comments that people
think she is perfect, but they will never see how I feel. I will
cover it up.
She says there is goodness, kindness and strength in Tony (Oh,
yeah, Marlena, he proved that alright, at the gym!) and for the
sake of Cassie and Rex, she has to try and change him, no matter
the risk. She repl! ays the tape back, and we hear just this last
part as she turns the machine off, the door opens and in walks
John, looking very angry, indeed. Marlena asks what is wrong, and
John replies that her friend Tony, tried to kill him tonight! Cue
a shocked Marlena. And the previews show.
Preview:
A big Welcome Home Chloe sign, as the Wesleys & Brady
celebrating Chloe's return from the hospital. At Echelon, Shawn
tells Belle his father will kill him for bringing her there,
while Belle says he didn't bring her, she came on her own (How do
these females get INTO Echelon, isn't it a "Gentlemen's
Club? An angry Marlena to Tony "You tried to kill my
husband!" Jack & Jennifer on TV as Jen says,
until next time..when we're here and Jack is gritting his teeth
in a fake smile as he joins her in saying "In The House".

THURSDAY, MAY 1st, 2003

Shawn and Belle serve the mayor, Chloe goes home, wave buh bye to
a few Phoenix tattoos and Marlena confronts Tony...
In The House
Jen does the intro as she tells the audience Jack has a special
project upstairs. She comments on the earthquake the night before
and reports that the tally of Jack's wardrobe contest are in and
calls him down to show the results. Jack comes downstairs dressed
in a casual grey sweater and hang out silk shirt. Jen applauds,
approving the final decision (which was not one of the outfits he
modeled, but very cool for a more relaxed Jack Deveraux). She
informs him that his old wardrobe is history, no more ties! Jen
talks about the earthquake the night before and how strangers
helped each other and thankfully there were no lives lost. She
then gives kudos to the police, fire and city workers for their
diligent work in getting the city back to normal and safe (being
a former city employee, I know how much those words mean to them
too). She comments about how they were alone at home when it
happened and the house was dark and shaking, love Jack's reply...
nothing new about that ;-) They announce their guest today is
Robert Clark and he'll talk about emergency procedures for people
like themselves to be more prepared the next time. Much later we
see the show wrapping up (we don't see it). Jen announces their
guest the next day will be an expert wedding planner and how the
audience will help select their invitations, gown, honeymoon
destination, etc. Jack obviously didn't know about this as he
looks at her and mouths WHAT as their show's theme plays.
The Hospital
Brady wheels a masked Chloe into the hospital lobby as she
prepares to go home. She's anxious to have him alone to kiss him.
Craig assures them the mask is not permanent and asks if Chloe is
ready to go home. No, she has one more thing to do. We find she
wanted to thank everyone who helped her, so Craig collected the
doctors, nurses, etc. in a group and Chloe thanks them all for
their help. She hugs the doctor and nurse and waves goodbye to
everyone.
Dot Com
Shawn and Belle find Mickey working on some legal papers at
DotCom. He's representing Ben Wells family. Neither Shawn or
Belle knew Ben Wells. Mickey said Ben's parents are slapping a
wrongful death suit against the mayor. He hasn't been able to
serve the mayor as he's keeping a low profile. Shawn offers to do
the job for him, saying he wouldn't suspect a college student.
Belle offers to help too. Mickey's not sure, but finally agrees
after they promise not to take any risks. He gives them the
subpoena with the instructions of what to say, and then to get
out of there quickly after serving him. He gives them his cell
number and heads to court. Belle calls Mimi as she did an article
on the mayor for the student newspaper. No luck. Later Shawn
reports his friend's mother works for the mayor and said the
mayor likes to have lunch at the Echelon Club. Shawn's going to
head there and doesn't want Belle around it. Belle calls it a
strip club, but Shawn refers ! to it as a girls-for-hire club.
Belle figures she'd have an easier time getting in then he would
and heads off to look for a job there.
Chaz & Vin
Chaz surprises Vin Ramsel. Vin's upset because Bo Brady's
responsible for him losing his house and car, and now he may have
go to jail (ya think?). Chaz assures him tonight's party will
remedy that. Chaz calls to confirm Cassie's party's on and her
"A" list (Mimi, Shawn and Belle) are going to be there.
She tells him yes, and because Rex is there, hangs up. Chaz and
Vin Ramsel talk in the ally about Shawn joining Ben Wells in the
hereafter.
DiMansion
John storms into the mansion with Bart unsuccessfully trying to
stop him. Rex tells him it's okay and they shoo Bart upstairs.
John tells them he's there to see them, not Tony. He realizes
family is the most important thing and needs to help them, along
with himself, be set free of the DiMera curse. Telling them the
three of them were marked (tattoos) with the DiMera brand without
their consent, he asks if they're with him in fighting it. Bart
eavesdrops from the next room. Both Rex and Cassie aren't crazy
about their tattoo either. John's going to have his removed that
day and offers to take them along as well to have their's removed.
Rex agrees, but Cassie asks for a minute alone to discuss it.
Cassie figures they'd be more like their mother and father if
they didn't have the tattoo and agree. John's made arrangements
at the hospital and the three head off as Bart watches, not know
why they're going to the hospital.
Echelon Club
Tony tells the club manager they'll be ready to open by lunch
time after the earthquake damage is cleaned up. Marlena pounds on
the door and she rushes in. Angrily she accuses him of trying to
kill her husband. Cue innocent look on Tony's face. She tells
Tony she will never forgive him for leaving John locked in the
sauna. Tony back pedals saying he didn't realize John was trapped
and thought he could get out. Tony tells her that John broke into
his club the night before and tried to strangle him and has
witnesses. Marlena refuses to believe that. He feels deep down in
her heart she still trusts him and it's needed for the future of
their children she do so. Tony plays the victim of John's wrath
and urges her to help him convince John he's not the monster
Stefano was. She sits down and he offers her a cup of coffee.
Bart calls Tony and tells him how John just left with the twins
for the hospital. Tony tells Bart to keep an eye on them and
he'll meet! him there. After hanging up he accuses Marlena of
helping John by distracting him and that John's up to something
with the twins. He heads off as Marlena follows him.
Belle and Shawn walk into Club Echelon (it's now open) as they
check out what's happening in there. Belle knows her father would
kill her if he saw her there. They spot a mean looking bouncer
guarding a door, figuring that's where the mayor is, but Belle's
sure she can handle him. She tells the bouncer her cell phone
died but she has to return a call, it's urgent, it may be her
mother. She pouts and offers to pay for the use of the house
phone and the bouncer obliges taking her to the other side of the
club. Shawn walks in the room and the mayor and the flavor of the
day are cozied up at a table. Shawn approaches the mayor who
recognizes him, but just as a friend of one of his staff's sons
who plays baseball for Salem U. (doesn't know he's Bo Brady's kid
after all the hoopla with him being arrested for Colin's murder,
duh???) Shawn tells him he's there to serve him. The mayor smiles
saying they've been served already, but Shawn slaps the subpoena
in his hand and walks out,! bidding them a good day. He signals
Belle and after telling her mission accomplished, they high 5
each other at the door and leave.
Home Sweet Home
Chloe returns home and Nancy comes downstairs with Joy. Craig's
camera is snapping away in the celebration as they tease him
about it. Craig tells Chloe she can take her mask off as she
holds Joy and thanks her for saving her life. Craig asks Brady to
get a picture of him with the gals and he does (we'll post it
here tomorrow hopefully). We return to Chloe holding Joy on the
couch with Nancy and Brady alongside her. Joy gets tired, so
Nancy takes her upstairs to bed. Craig gets called to the
hospital, but apologizes for missing the big announcement.
Confused, Chloe asks Brady what he meant. Brady explains he meant
what he said about fulfilling all of Chloe's wish list, starting
tonight. He asks what her last wish was and she says it's not
important as she has the rest of her life to do that now. He
reminds her singing on stage to an audience was that wish. His
job at Titan and starting a music division led him to buy the
Blue Note. He said it's a! good place for her come back to start.
Everything is set, all she has to do is say yes. Chloe's
speechless as Nancy joins them. Chloe wants to go check on Joy
and even though Nancy tells her Joy's sleeping and they can hear
her on the baby monitor next to them, Chloe just wants to look at
Joy (and time to think me thinks). Brady's worried he hit her
with too much too soon as Nancy figures it just will need time to
sink in. Nancy figures it's best that Chloe doesn't know the
whole thing, that Cecelia Marin will be in the audience to hear
her to see if she'll be accepted into Julliard. Brady knows that
Chloe's meant to be at Julliard and they just need one more
miracle to see she's in it. Later, finally alone, Brady and Chloe
kiss on the couch as he asks about her feelings about the singing
gig. She's worried her voice may have changed and he invites her
to sing with him. He leads off with La Boehme (I think) and she
tries. Her voice isn't as strong and she's concerned she m! ay
have lost it. He assures her it'll just take time.
Dot Com, Part Two
Shawn and Belle return and find Mickey back at his favorite table
(poor guy really does need an office!). They tell him they served
the mayor at lunch (but neither say where that was). Mickey
offers them both a part time job at his firm with flex hours to
coincide with their schooling. Belle thanks him, but tells him of
her internship job at BB. Shawn asks what he can do at a law firm.
Mickey tells him research and foot work. He gives them an
envelope with $$ for delivering the subpoena. Shawn opens the
envelope and takes out the cash, giving Belle some of it for
mochas to help celebrate after Mickey leaves. She tries to talk
Shawn out of going to the party at Cassie's later, suggesting
they spend a quiet evening alone at the dorm instead. He reminds
her the party is in her honor because of her part in Love Is
Blind and they have to go.
Hospital, Part Two
Craig greets John and the twins. He's got everything arranged and
they're ready to go. Cassie asks if there will be any needles and
the nurse tells her it'll be okay. Craig explains a local
anesthetic will be used and gives them eyeglasses to wear. Cassie
asks if it'll burn. Craig tells her a little, but it will be okay.
Bart and Marlena arrive and Tony asks where his children are.
Craig handles the laser himself as he removes John's tattoo
first, then Rex and lastly Cassie's. Just a little local spray
that works instantly, then like an eraser, the red laser light
removes the tattoo leaving a pink skin in it's place. (amazing..anyone
know if it's really that easy?) Tony and Marlena walk in the room
and solemnly look at the untattooed trio as the previews for
tomorrow roll.
Preview:
Love Is Blind is on and the question is asked as to who raises
his temperature, and in the same format as Love Is Blind, we see
Roman blindfolded as he's asked Marlena or Kate (as we see them
sitting there), but back to Love Is Blind, the mystery hunk
announces who he "dumps" first. (judging by the
reaction of Belle and Mimi, it appears to be Cassie, but just
guessing). Shawn and Belle are with other students
watching the show, he goes to leave with Belle calling to him (obviously
she wasn't the dumpee by his reaction).

Happy May Day from Salem, where the show is centered around the
premiere of ëLove is Blind' (YAWN, Quite frankly, I would have
rather seen our Salemites dancing around a May Pole), Marlena's
blindness may be coming to an end as her eyes are opened after a
visit to Echelon, Roman is a guinea pig for the ISA, and Bo
publicly complains about the police department.
At DotCom
Shawn and Mimi watch the promo for ëLove is Blind' as Shawn
jokes around about her being a big time TV star. Mimi is eating
up all the attention and wonders if this is how J-Lo feels. Shawn
picks up her napkin (with her lipstick smudge on it) and jokes
that he bets he could sell it on ebay for at least $100. He
pleads with her to tell him the outcome, so she says she will
give him a clue. But Belle walks up and Mimi clams up and hustles
off. Belle and Shawn talk about the premiere party at DiMansion,
with neither of them really wanting to go.
At The Hospital
Tony confronts John about bringing Cassie and Rex there, but they
jump to John's defense, saying that they wanted to get the
tattoos removed. (FYI, Cassie is now wearing a bandage on her
forearm.) As Craig finishes up with Rex, John, Tony and Marlena
step out to the lobby, with Marlena a bit angry with John as well.
As John talks about them all being "marked", Tony tries
to convince him (or Marlena) that he is NOT like his father and
that he has marks as well, only his are scars that are much
deeper. John says he is worse than Stefano. They argue as Marlena
tries to keep the peace. Cassie and Rex join them and Cassie
pulls Tony aside, asking if she can have a few friends over to
watch ëLIB'. He gives in, explaining that he won't be there.
Marlena tells John how Tony explained what happened at the gym
but John tells her that if anything happens to him, Tony will
come after her. Tony agrees as John tells him to stay away from
her. They start argui! ng again as Marlena calls them immature.
Tony abruptly apologizes and leaves as John fumes. He apologizes
to Marlena and she suggests they go and get a drink. He suggest
the pub, but she wants to go to Echelon. Later, they arrive as
Marlena explains she was there earlier, but it was closed. Tony
greets Marlena (who had asked for time alone with him) as she
accuses him of lying to her. She seems shocked and appalled by
the place as Tony tries to justify the goings-on. She laughs at
him, asking just WHO he is trying to convince. He lays it on
pretty thick until she has finally had enough and goes to look
for John. Tony assures Bart that he is behind right now, but will
win in the end. Marlena joins John (as John refuses free drinks
from Tony) and they keep an eye on Tony from across the room.
Marlena comments on the young women working there and feels sorry
for them. They talk about Tony trying to kill John and Marlena
assures John that she believes him now. John says he has ! had
enough of Tony for one night and they leave. After they are gone,
Tony goes to a back room and meets up with a blonde woman (same
as last week) and they are last seen on the bed getting hot and
heavy (no words are ever spoken between the two).
'Love is Blind' Premieres
Later, a few friends (geez, looks like about 50 kids) arrive at
DiMansion for the premiere. Mimi is busy looking for Rex as
Cassie pulls out the booze, explaining to Mimi that this is a
COLLEGE party, what did she expect, fruit punch? She barks orders
at Belle and Mimi to serve hors d'ourves but Mimi begs off and
goes upstairs to see Rex. Chaz arrives as he and Cassie make out
in the foyer and Belle grimaces at them. Upstairs, Rex is talking
to his tape recorder when Mimi arrives. He is quite rude to her (telling
her he doesn't have time) and shuts the door in her face so she
heads back downstairs. Belle is feeding Shawn pate and stuffed
figs (which he is practically gagging on, LOL) as a dejected Mimi
refers to Rex as a hermit crab. Penny (remember her? "shy
girl") announces the show is starting as everyone settles on
the sofa and surrounding area to watch. On the show, Gabby asks
the girls to describe each other. Mimi describes Cassi! e as
having great hair, no hips and interesting eyes. Belle describes
Meems as fun, loyal and her best friend. Mimi comments that she
sounds like a cocker spaniel. Rex joins the group, telling Mimi
that Belle is right, she IS amazing as Mimi smiles at him. Cassie
is asked to describe Belle as she isn't so nice. She says that
Belle is a priss who has had everything handed to her on a silver
platter and her idea of living on the edge is going to bed
without flossing. (ROFL!!) She tells the Mystery Guy if he wants
a little girl, to choose Belle, but if he wants a real woman, to
choose her. Gabby refers to Cassie as an F5 tornado. Later, the
Mystery Guy talks to Gabby alone and refers to Cassie as a ëhell
cat' and says he feels like he already knows Belle (hmmm, could
the rumors be true? is this actually Philip?) They then have one
on one sessions as each girl is asked to describe their dream guy.
Mimi describes Rex to a T which seems to embarrass him, so he
leaves. Belle describ! es her dream guy as thoughtful and
trustworthy (sure doesn't sound lik e our Shawn, huh?) Cassie
comes on to the guy, saying she wants someone who will treat her
like a queen and has strong arms and a warm smile (as she gets
touchy-feely with the guy). Shawn has had enough and walks away.
Mimi follows Rex upstairs but he isn't interested. She goes to
leave, but he stops her. They eventually go back downstairs and
watch the show. Shawn and Belle keep an eye on Cassie and Chaz, (who
are all over each other) saying they should "get a room".
The show comes back on with the Mystery Guy smelling each girl (yes,
I said SMELLING). He think Mimi smells like soap, Belle smells a
bit fruity, then he almost passes out from Cassie's cologne. (Gabby
calls her a ëblue light special'). Gabby asks each girl for
their best pick-up line, Mimi says he must be a parking ticket
because he has FINE, FINE, FINE written all over him, Cassie says
she likes his outfit, but it would look SO much better crumpled
up on her floor, Belle says his name must be VISA, because he's !
everywhere she wants to be. (cute, girls). The show is wrapping
up as the Mystery Guy is asked to dump one of them. It is Cassie,
who is shocked. She snaps that he has no idea what he just passed
on and stomps off. Gabby signs off and the show ends. Rex
whispers to Mimi that he wishes it had been her kicked off. Shawn
tells Belle that (even though he is a bit miffed at her) he is
proud of her. As they kiss, Vin Ramsel is watching them through
the window from outside.
At The Hospital
Roman calls and leaves Kate a message asking her to call him back.
Ops has a delivery for Roman. At the pub, Kate gets Roman's
message and refuses to return the call. Lisa (the waitress) has a
line and asks if she is okay. Back at the hospital, we see Ops
and Roman in a room as he whips out a HUGE needle explaining that
Shane has requested this. The TV is on as ëLove is Blind' is on
and both comment on the show. He gives Roman a shot (supposedly
it's some kind of new truth drug the ISA is developing). He
begins to ask Roman personal questions as Roman drifts off and
imagines himself on the show. Ops is the host and asks Roman who
he chooses, Marlena or Kate. He pulls off the blindfold and
approaches Marlena, telling her that he will always lover her, as
a friend and the mother of his children. But, it is Kate that he
loves and wants to spend the rest of his life with. Later, he
comes back to reality, talking about the strong affects of the
drug an! d that he remembers everything. He jumps up out of the
bed and takes off, saying he has to find Kate and tell her that
he loves her.
Meanwhile, Back At The Pub
Kate is on the phone asking someone for their help. Bo and Hope
arrive outside as a reporter asks Bo to comment on the recent
drug busts. He is upset that Vin Ramsel is back on the streets
and mouths off about the police department. Hope drags him inside
and chastises him, trying to get him to back off. She pleads with
him not to be a vigilante. They are joined by Kate as she can't
believe that they aren't home watching Belle on TV. Hope says she
forgot about the premiere as Bo goes to call Jenn to see if they
are taping it. Kate sits with Hope and informs her that she and
Roman are finished. She wants commitment and he doesn't and she
is NOT a patient woman. She tells her that she is going to Rome
for a while to work but Hope urges her to talk to Roman first. As
Bo and Hope leave, outside they are accosted by the press wanting
comments from Bo. Bo says he is going to fight the problem with
or without the help of the Salem PD. When as! ked if he is going
to take the law into his own hands, he says if he has to, it's
about time SOMEONE did something, as the previews for the next
show roll.
Preview:
Chaz and Cassie are making out, Mimi and Rex are making out,
Shawn and Belle are dancing as Vin says he has a surprise for
Shawn, Bo is telling (a horrified) Hope that something bad
happened to Shawn at the DiMera mansion, as the credits roll.
