Nancy is in labor, Shawn is cleared as Larry confesses, Victor
covers for Nicole making her even more indebted to him, Marlena
and Tony break the news to the twins.
At The Hospital
Brady and Chloe are there in the waiting room, waiting for news
on Nancy. You can hear Nancy off in the background moaning and
groaning, as Chloe comments she isn't so sure she wants to go
through that. Craig comes out and tells Chloe she can go on.
Nancy is doing better now (she had an epidural) as Chloe comments
that Nancy had said earlier she wanted no drugs. Well, Nancy
changed her mind and Chloe says she will probably be the same way.
Nancy asks why she and Brady were talking about having children.
Chloe tells her that she loves Brady, but is in no rush. Outside,
Craig tells Brady that they will be able to do the transplant
immediately. Back inside, Nancy begins to moan and says "here
we go again" and Craig rushes back in. Belle comes by to see
Brady and they catch up. They talk about Shawn being in jail as
Brady comforts her. Belle feels guilty over how she treated Shawn.
A nurse comes by and tells them that Marlena called and wants
them both to come to the DiMera Mansion ASAP. (Hmmm, how did
Marlena know that Belle wasn't in Paris?) Chloe comes out and
wants to go and get coffee, but they tell her that they have to
leave, with Brady promising to be back soon. Craig comes out and
tells Chloe that he has an examination set up for Chloe
immediately.
At The Penthouse
John and Marlena return home, as she seems a bit miffed at him
and wants to talk about his attitude over all this. John gets
defensive, saying he is handling it well, but that's what Marlena
wanted to say, she is proud of him, even though she knows it is
hard on him. But John is sure his attitude may change as Tony
begins to worm his way into their lives. Marlena is sure that
won't happen but John is sure that Tony's plan is to slowly take
her away. Marlena doesn't believe that but says if he tries, so
what?, it's not their problem. She thinks that being a father may
have an affect on and change Tony. John thinks she is being naïve,
but she says she is crazy in love with him and no one can do
anything to take her away from him, he is her obsession and they
kiss. John goes to take their bags upstairs and she tells him
that she agreed with Tony to talk to the twins and tell them what
they learned. John wants to go along with her for support.
At The Police Station
Larry tells Abe that he wants to confess something, waiving all
his rights. Abe has a stenographer brought in to take down his
statements. Larry confesses to killing Colin. Abe is skeptical at
first as Larry explains he wants to cut a deal for cooperating.
Abe explains that the DA will have to do that so Larry tells Abe
to get him. Abe asks Larry WHY he killed Colin as Larry goes into
the explanation that Victor laid out for him. He says he hired
Colin to kill Bo, but he blew it. He and Colin fought and he shot
him in the stomach. Abe thinks there are still too many
unanswered questions but Larry says he will tell them more after
he talks to the DA. Abe says he will get back to him.Belle stops
by, but isn't allowed to see Shawn, so she leaves him a letter
professing her love to him and how she believes that he is
innocent. It says that she will always love him. The guard comes
by and tells Shawn that Abe gave him orders to hold him there for
the time being, he will find out why soon enough.
At The Brady Pub
Bo and Hope are inside as Bo makes notes on the case, saying he
must find the real killer. Roman and Kate come by, but Roman
decides not to go in when he sees Bo and Hope in there. Nicole
rushes up, telling Roman she needs to talk to him, to turn
herself in, but refuses to talk in front of Kate, so Roman sends
her inside the pub. Just as she is ready to spill her guts,
Victor walks up, telling her to shut her mouth. Inside, Kate
talks to Bo and Hope but Bo starts in on Roman so she just walks
off. Bo says he doesn't know which is worse, his son in jail or
the fact that his brother put him there. Outside, Roman threatens
to run both Victor and Nicole in for questioning. Victor does all
the talking and gives Roman a cover story about Nicole having a
bunch of unpaid parking tickets and being afraid she would be
arrested. Roman doesn't really believe them, but goes on inside,
telling them to take it up with the DMV. After he is gone, Victor
chastises Nicole, saying the only reason he is covering her sorry
butt is to save face. He tells her that he found someone else to
take the rap, leave it up to him. He tells her that she must doe
as he says as she begins to cry and they leave.Inside, Roman and
Bo shoot daggers at each other from across the pub as Kate urges
Roman to talk to him. Roman tells Bo that they need to talk. Bo
says okay, I'll start, "Go to HELL!" Roman gets a call
from Abe, asking where Bo and Hope are, he needs them at the
station too. They all rush off, with Kate staying behind. After
they are gone, Kate wonders what was up with Nicole and vows to
get to the bottom of it.
Back Down At The Station
Bo, Hope and Roman are all waiting for Abe in his office as Bo is
still extremely hostile with Roman. Abe joins them and tells them
that Larry Welch confessed to the murder and explains it to them.
Roman asked why he confessed as Abe tells them about the deal he
wants. Roman says there is no evidence as he and Bo get into
another heated shouting match with Abe and Hope breaking them up.
Roman storms off, saying he will find the evidence.Bo and Hope go
to visit with Shawn and tell him the good news about Larry's
confession and they are all excited and hug. They explain all
they know and how Larry killed him. Shawn tries to explain why he
kept it from them, feeling that he was a coward and that they
would be disappointed in him. Bo promises to get him out soon.
Meanwhile, Roman visits with Larry asking about the gun he
supposedly used. Larry tells him that he buried it on the grounds
of the Kiriakis Mansion. While this is going on, Victor and
Nicole are at the mansion as he forcers her to dig a hole to bury
the gun and shell casings. Later, Victor watches from the mansion
as Roman and Abe search the grounds and find the gun,
corroborating Larry's story. Victor tells Nicole that Shawn will
be cleared and he saved her sorry ass as well, as she realizes
that her hole is getting deeper and deeper.
Over At DiMansion
The twins welcome him home as they tell him about Shawn being
arrested. Tony is sure he couldn't have done it as they fill him
in. Cassie is sure that Shawn will be cleared, even though Rex
isn't so sure (since he has been studying the judicial system)
and Cassie stomps off. Tony says he needs to talk to them as he
and Rex talk about law. Rex says he believes given the
circumstances, he thinks anyone is capable of anything. Tony
talks about his father and how important kindness is. He says
that his father taught him that emotion shouldn't cloud your
vision and that the end always justifies the means. Cassie (who
seems to have cooled off by now) returns with lunch for them. As
they sit down to eat, John and Marlena arrive. Cassie isn't too
thrilled to see them but Tony says that Marlena has something to
tell them, but Cassie is sure it is just a lie (someone slap that
girl). Tony convinces them to stay as Marlena apologizes to
Cassie for what she did earlier. Marlena tells them that
everything has changed now. Tony offers to start and tells them
that they went on a trip, to their birthplace. He says that going
there caused Marlena to remember giving birth to them. Marlena
says "I am your mother". Tony walks over and says
"and I am your father, we are a family now" just as
Belle and Brady walk in to hear this, fade to black.

Brady hugs Rex,
welcoming him to the family, Marlena hugs Cassie (both crying),
telling her everything will be alright, Belle rushes off, with
Brady chasing after her. She says she doesn't care, she is NOT
staying there, Tony promises to always take care of them, his
family. Closing shot on Marlena, as the credits roll.

Shawn's released, Tony and Marlena bond with their
children, Shawn sneaks up to Belle's bed and gets a surprise, Bo
and Hope return home and Jack and Jen put their story (and
themselves) to bed at the Spectator.
Cop Shop
As Bo, Hope and Shawn absorb the good news about Larry Welch's
admission to killing Colin, Carson Palmer bursts in. Angry that
his orders for no visitors weren't followed, he rants away as Bo
smirks. Bo refers to Palmer as "little man" as his loud
mouth and arrogance prevails while he demands that the Brady
reign in the police department is over. Hope and Shawn try to
keep Bo centered as Palmer shouts in Bo's face inviting him to
hit him (what a little instigator he is!) Abe and Roman walk in
and Abe tells them both to shut up. They announce getting the
murder weapon and the lab just confirmed it. Palmer's reaction to
hearing that Larry Welch confessed and told them where the gun
was buried and thinks it's contrived after Shawn Brady confessed
as well, fires up Roman's Irish temper. Abe pulls both Palmer and
Roman into the hall to talk. Alone in the visiting room, Hope and
Shawn hug as Bo takes in Palmer's reaction. They hear Roman and
Palmer arguing which Bo appreciates, about dropping the charges
against Shawn. Palmer returns to the visiting room and tells
Shawn he's free to go. Bo tells Roman he overheard him with
Palmer in the hall and although still upset with him, he
appreciated what he overheard. Shawn tells his parents he'll see
them at home later as he's anxious to see Zack.. There's someone
else he's got to see right now. Hope winks at Bo and tells him ok.
Shawn just walks out, watching the officers in the outer office
to see they're not going to keep him from leaving (hey, he's
still wearing his jail clothes..so much for processing him out
and giving him his own clothes back, haha) Later we see him in
his own clothes (either processed out at station after all or
stopped by his dorm room) as he prepares to knock on Belle's room
door. He remembers their discussion in the visiting room before
knocking softly. He walks into the darkened dorm room and quietly
walks over to Belle's bed and kisses her hair. Mimi jumps up as
he falls to the floor, LOL! She explains she's got a nasty cold
because her immune system was down because of worrying about him
and asks if he's really there? She still thinks Belle's in Paris,
haha. Mimi rambles on and finally hugs him. She tells him her
coughing was keeping her little brother up all night, so that's
why she's at the dorm. Love that Mimi as she continues her
rambling. Even Shawn laughs, saying it's so good to be around her
and laughing again. The two friends hug. Mimi's cell rings and
it's Belle on the phone. Keeping Shawn's news secret, she
suggests Belle come to the dorm and talk, but Belle tells her
she's got a lot of thinking to do and is going for a walk along
the pier (uh oh, usually not a good thing in Salem). Mimi hangs
up and tells Shawn, who rushes off to the pier as well.
Spectator
Jack and Jen have returned to the newspaper to write up the
article about Shawn. Jen encourages Jack to write the article in
a positive way. Harold brings the mail in and Jen gets a letter
from her dad (he sends it to the office, not her home?). He tells
her that he's sending her a surprise and hopes she's home to
receive it. J&J hope it's good news.Later Harold answers the
phone and trips over a wastebasket to tell Jen there's breaking
news at the police station. Jen takes the phone and learns new
evidence came in and Shawn's free. Jen calls for an impromptu
staff meeting and orders them to STOP THE PRESSES. Jack kids her
about her always wanting to say that as they happily focus on
rewriting the story now. Jen issues assignments as they send
Harold to the police station for the full story. Jack asks Jen
for something and she kisses him on the cheek willing to get him
anything he wants. Cute, cute as she gives him a big smack on the
lips as he types away like crazy while she does so. Later the
story is off to the presses. Jen sits on Jack's lap saying they
can't go home until the papers hit the street. Jack closes the
blinds, locks the door and turns off the light as they fall to
the floor. We hear Jen's "Oh Jack" as the scene closes.
DiMansion
We return to Marlena and Tony's telling the twins that they're
their parents. Belle and Brady overhear from the foyer. John
explains how they were conceived in a lab. Marlena reiterates
having a strong maternal sense towards them from the first time
she saw them in the Brady garage. Tony says they're all family
now as. Cassie disagrees they aren't as her parents aren't
married (oh PALEEZ! How long has she been in Salem?) Marlena
rationalizes this notion, but Rex explains their parents don't
even like each other, haha. Tony disagrees, he likes their mother
very much. John tells the twins how his focus has been on
protecting his family and that's why he's acted in the way he has
to them, but in lieu of this news, he's willing to reevaluate
their relationship. Cassie spews anger at him with her "too
little, too late" speech. Even Belle doesn't want her new
step-sister and how they love their Belle and Brady so much there
will never be room in their heart for them as well (anyone else
want to help pack her bag with me then?) Her outburst silences
everyone. John tells Cassie he didn't have any identity when he
arrived in Salem either. He resisted love from others when
offered and pleads with her not to do the same. The most
wonderful mother in the whole world is standing right there and
he suggests she let her do that (yeah, maybe one of her kids will
be with her on Christmas next year this way). Brady walks over
and hugs Rex, welcoming him to the family. He stands in front of
Cassie as she cries. Marlena hugs Belle while Rex asks Tony if
he's sure about this. Marlena explains her memory of having them
while on DiMera Island and how Cassie came first and then Rex.
Recalling having them and holding them, she senses that was the
last time she ever held them. She saw someone in a cloak putting
the baby's in a boat and taking them away. Everyone watches as
Marlena remembers. Tony and John ask if that was the memory she
had when they found her on the cliff. She agrees. She remembers
calling out, but forgot about it until now. She stands up and Rex
goes to her open arms. Cassie is unsure and watches. She finally
rushes into Marlena's arms in tears and calls her mom. Marlena
assures her everything will be alright.
Brady Home
Bo and Hope return home as the clean up crew is replacing their
broken window. The furniture's all draped and the foreman tells
him they'll be done soon. Bo and Hope wait outside (it's dark out
now). Bo suggests they go somewhere else, but Hope knows she's
got to work through it and Larry's not driving her out of her own
home. Bo suggests she tell him what happened and they'll work
through it together. Bo wants to focus on making her feel safe
and secure, knowing she still isn't feeling 100% yet. They walk
back inside the house and the crew leaves, saying they'll be back
tomorrow to finish up. Hope goes to get them clean clothes to
take to the pub for the night. Bo suggests they stay there, but
frantic, Hope says no. (Thought Shawn was suppose to come home
and anxious to see Zack, but he's not there. Last time we saw
Zack was when Hope was at the pub with him. Bo convinces her
they'll be safe at home in their own bed. They head upstairs (just
what time is it? I'm confused) to create new memories.
Back To DiMansion
Belle rushes out upset, saying she can't stay there. John's
concerned about Belle as he and Brady stand out front of the
DiMansion discussing what's going on. Brady's impressed his old
man is handling this so well. They wonder about Tony. Inside Tony
smiles at Cassie and Rex and promises to always take good care of
his family. Marlena smiles while looking at the twins as well,
but looks up to find Tony smiling at her when saying that last
comment and her smile falls
Preview:
Cassie lurks on the pier watching Shawn and Belle hugging, (that
girl has a homing device planted on them I swear!). In Belle's
dorm room, Mimi helps Rex take off his shirt. She stares at his
chest as he watches her, Chloe and Brady are making out on the
couch, as the credits roll.

WEDNESDAY,
MARCH 5TH, 2003

This show is devoted to the teen set, as Shawn & Mimi
learn from Belle & Rex of the new family connection the twins
have to Salem, while we get an all too brief glimpse of Nancy
& Craig, as Chloe gets close to being admitted for her
transplant. ZZZZZZZ, oops, sorry, but this is surely the longest
day in Salem's history.
Cassie storms into the Salem PD, demanding to
see Shawn, and announces she will stay until she does. The weary
police officer (don't blame him, I'd be tired, too) tells her
Shawn has been released, and tho she demands to know where he
went (GMAB), he has no idea. She leaves in a huff, off to the
dorm.
As Rex Passes Belle's room, he hears the TV
going in Spanish. He knocks, then enters when no answer. He taps
the sleeping figure, huddled under the mound of blankets, calling
out Belle's name, and up pops Mimi. (Didn't we just see Shawn do
this?) She is oh so happy to see Rex, pops her glasses on, (which
he admires) and explains about crashing in Belle's room cause she
is sick. She explains that she is taking Spanish 1, and is
watching a Tele Novella, which is helping her. (I think NBC is
planning a joint fan thing with the TeleMundo network) learn the
language. Rex has studied it, they pass a few Spanish phrases
back and forth, as she mentions how all the actors look "muy
bueno" (very good) with their shirts off. LOL..don't you
just love Meems? Rex asks about Belle, Mimi tells of how she sent
the newly released Shawn off to surprise her on the pier. Rex
gets upset, Mimi lectures him on how he should get over his
crush, but he explains that is not the way he cares about her,
that she is his sister. Mimi is freaked out (yeah, and so are we),
as she realizes that makes Cassie, ..TADA! In she walks, saying
yes, makes me Belle's sister. Cassie goes to closet, taking out
one of Belle's outfits. Mimi tries to stop her, but Cassie
sweetly says sisters share clothes. Mimi again explains that
Shawn and Belle are in love, and Cassie should back off. Cassie
takes a framed pic of Shawn & Belle, and yelling NO, slams it
to the floor. Rex tries reasoning with her, ..they go out in the
hall. She calms down, asks Rex to tell Mimi she is sorry for
letting her "inner drama queen" out (just open the door
and tell her yourself, Cassie) and leaves.
Rex returns inside, helps Mimi clean up the
glass, and they talk of Shawn & Belle. Mimi flashes back to
the time, in high school, when she asked Shawn to take her to the
dance on bended knee, and tells Rex how Shawn arrived with both
her and Belle. She goes to take her cough medicine, cannot get
the cap off, Rex tries to help, it suddenly comes off, spilling
cough medicine all over Rex's new shirt. Mimi tries to wipe some
off, talks of club soda, and Rex takes it off, causing Mimi to go
a little bugeyed. (Muy Bueno, right, Meems, lol - however, a
totally unnecessary scene, JMHO) They each tenderly wipe a bit of
cough syrup off each other's faces, and he leaves.
On The Infamous Salem Pier, Belle is walking
alone, fingering her seashell, and saying Shawn's name. (Amazing
she feels so safe, alone, late at night, on a lonely pier). Shawn
appears, and she runs into his arms. He explains about Larry
confessing, and how Colin's murder probably happened. They
flashback to the lst time he told her he loved her, with the
snowman, and they talk of Shawn not confiding in her. He recites
his flimsy excuses of trying to shield her, but apologizes, and
they say no more secrets (and HOW many times is this, now?). She
talks of Cassie, telling him to run from her, and then breaks the
"sister" news. We return as Belle has finished her tale
of woe, saying her family tree really needs to be chopped down.
LOL. She is worried, and explains why she is such a straight
arrow - cause when she was little, she knew her parents thought
big sister Sami would set a good example, and that did not work
out that way. So now she feels they will expect HER to set an
example for Cassie, and she cannot stand her. (You have good
reason, Belle). Unseen by the couple, Cassie arrives (like a
homing pidgeon, I swear) and sees Belle and Shawn hugging and
kissing. She leaves, angry.
Craig & Chloe are outside Nancy's room
talking of it being a heck of a long day, and how tired Craig
must be. They are waiting for Chloe's test results, and Craig has
called for backup to watch out for Chloe. Tis Brady, naturally.
The two go to see Nancy, who looks pretty cheerful as the
epidural is working fine. Brady leaves, so Chloe & Nancy can
talk. Nancy gives a pep talk about how wonderful that this new
life will be helping Chloe. Craig & Brady come in, followed
by a nurse w/Chloe's test results. Craig tells Chloe to go home
and pack her suitcase, but Brady says it is already done and in
the Jeep. Chloe insists she forgot something, and they must go
home. As soon as they get in the house, Chloe locks the door,
Brady scoops her up to the sofa, does the obligatory take off the
shirt thing, and that scene fades away, to return to both lunder
a sheet. (wonder where that came from, lol). Cell phone rings,
Chloe realizes it is Craig, and says it is time. We then see them
back at the hospital, Craig mentioning he consulted with Chloe's
doctor as they were concerned about the level of her blood
platelets, but all was o.k. They will start her on radiation.
Craig leaves with Chloe, and Brady paces the hall, alone.
Preview:

Kate to Lucas: Roman is the best man I was ever involved with,
that's why I knew we were doomed from the start. Cassie to
Marlena "I was wondering if you'd still like to have a late

THURSDAY, MARCH 6TH,

Director - Phil Sogard
A new day in Salem! Chloe starts her treatment as Nancy's labor
continues down the hall, Roman learns of Sami's plans as he and
Kate share some electric moments, Lucas gets some action of his
own started, John and Tony continue their game playing while
Marlena bonds with her new children.
Chloe's Hospital Room
Brady's keeping vigil by Chloe's bedside after her first
radiation treatment while she's being told what lies ahead for
her. Brady compares her experience with a caterpillar to
butterfly metamorphosis. She'll be re-born in a sense after this
procedure. Craig pops in and Brady excuses himself to supposedly
check some cellphone messages. Craig tells Chloe that he talked
with her oncologist and everything's going to be okay. She hugs
her dad and a little choked up, shows him a bump on her forehead
that she got as a child. She whacked her head on a dresser while
doing ballet spins and was taken to the ER. While in the ER she
remembers praying that he daddy would come and kiss her owie and
tell her everything would be okay. Craig bends over and kisses
her forehead gently and tells her everything will be okay. (you
can really feel the sincerity in this scene) Later Chloe awakes
and finds Brady fluttering a stuffed butterfly he got for her at
Barron's Dept. Store. She suggests they nap together as he kisses
her, agreeing. We return to Brady thinking that Chloe was asleep
cuddling her butterfly and goes to get off the bed. She opens her
eyes and asks him not to leave.
Nancy & Craig
Nancy is frustrated they won't let her go to Chloe's bedside, but
Craig assures her that Brady is by Chloe's side. Nancy jokes her
new daughter is causing problems already by taking her time, haha.
Later Nancy is still frustrated at not being able to be near
Chloe when she has a strong contraction. Craig tells her she
can't get up with an epidural. She keeps having strong
contractions and can feel his hand on her leg, saying the
epidural has worn off and she wants to go be with Chloe! Either
he helps her or she's going on her own.
Dot Com
While sipping java at DotCom, Lucas briefs Kate about Sami's new
roommate. He's concerned about how this new arrangement will
affect Will and damns Sami, threatening to wring her neck. Roman
arrives hearing just the end part and cautions him against doing
so. Roman catches on after listening to Kate defend Sami's having
someone live with her as the way of the times. Roman agrees with
Lucas, this is not good for Will. Kate dispatches Lucas (who
comments on how subtle she is, haha) to fetch coffee for her and
Roman. They argue about what Sami SHOULD do and Kate calls Roman
a hypocrit when he argues Brandon should ask Sami to marry him
then, to make a commitment. Roman disagrees saying he and Kate
aren't living together, nor do they have a small child to worry
about. Kate asks why they can't just have a few laughs and good
sex then? Poor Roman's confused about their relationship and Kate
jests if he's thinking about making an honest woman out of her
and telling him he's an old fashioned darling at heart. After
kidding him about it, he gets embarrassed and leaves. Lucas
returns with their coffee. Kate tells a surprised Lucas that
Roman's probably been the best guy she's ever involved with.
After Lucas mentions Roman's virtuous tendencies, Kate admits
that's why she knew their relationship was doomed from the start,
LOL...Later, after Kate leaves, Lucas bumps into a gal while
looking at music cd's, but can't place her. We learn she's Deb
from the 3rd floor nurses station. They discover they both like
older jazz and how she's not seeing anyone right now. Lucas
suggests she come over to his apartment for some food, jazz and
whatever else might happen. She zeros in on him and accepts,
saying she thinks they'll be on the same wavelength about a lot
of things.
Hartley House
Marlena visits Rex and glances around his dorm room. She inquires
about an object and is told it's an atom smasher. He explains he
made it, not even a school project (when did he have time?) as
Cassie knocks and comes in. Marlena was hoping to see Cassie as
well and learns Cassie aced another history exam. She learns
Cassie doesn't even go to her classes (they're boring). Rex tells
her he goes to his classes, but Cassie kids it's only to check
out the girls in them. Cassie automatically interprets Marlena's
surprise at their intelligence as thinking they're freaks.
Marlena tells them no, she's proud of them. Cassie and Marlena
admit they couldn't sleep thinking about this new development.
Marlena can't explain how come the memory was lost to her about
their birth, but felt the connection the first time she met them.
She'll love them forever now. As they start to talk about
Stefano, Marlena asks them to join her to eat so they can talk
more. The twins explain Tony's invited them for breakfast and
they have to leave. Cassie tells Rex she'll drive herself and
alone with Marlena, asks if this is only temporary again, like
before. Marlena assures her it's not and they both end up weeping.
Cassie asks if she's going to work now, but Marlena tells her
she's going to stop by and see John first.
DiMansion
Tony's having a meeting when Iliana interrupts to announce John
Black's arrival. Tony greets his brother (who's looking mighty
dapper in his black suit and blue tie..yum) and questions John's
sincerity in welcoming the twins into the family. John tells him
he came in peace. He realizes Tony is trying to cover something
and pushes him to learn more. He tells him that he's expecting
Cassie and Rex for brunch and the staff is preparing the living
room for it, so it's off limits (don't they have a DINING ROOM in
that big house?) John doesn't believe him, but sets some ground
rules. #1 Marlena is not to be hurt and #2 Tony is not to feel
anything about his wife. Tony warns John to control the green
eyed monster. John warns him to listen to what he said or the
twins will lose the father that they just found. Alone, Tony
tells "bro" they're playing this game by his rules, not
John's.After John's left, Tony finished his business and the two
men leave saying they'll contact him when "it's" over.
Rex arrives and tells Tony that Cassie's with Marlena. Listening
to Tony talking about how Marlena is the most caring, unselfish
woman, Rex tells Tony he can tell Tony loves her. The two sit at
the chess board in front of a crackling fire. Tony explains to
Rex how Marlena is married to John Black and doesn't trust him in
lieu of everything his father did to her. There's no point in
loving a woman who can't return his affection.
Basic Black
John arrives at the office and hey, you can actually see people
in the lobby and the secretary they finally hired way back when.
He throws his coat and briefcase on the chair (or floor) as
Marlena walks in right behind him (must be two elevators). Happy
to see her, he tells her about seeing Tony and tried to make a
truce for her sake and the twins, but things didn't go well.
Hoping they didn't have another sword fight (LOL). She tells him
about her visit with the twins and hoping things will work out in
time. Cassie overhears from the doorway and asks Marlena if they
could still have that late breakfast together Mom. Marlena is
thrilled until Cassie mentions having it at Tony's. Marlena
doesn't think that's such a good idea, but John disagrees and
tells them to have a good time. Marlena agrees and after she and
Cassie have left, tells himself damn, damn, damn..as Kate walks
in, assessing the situation. He tells her about Tony and Marlena
being the twins parents and Marlena's heading to the lions den,
with his blessing. Kate inquires if John's investigated Tony,
knowing his ex-cop background. He agrees and asks her to keep it
from Marlena. Kate's secretary buzzes in that she has a visitor
and Kate exits to find Roman in the lobby. He apologizes for
running out earlier and she tells him she was teasing him about a
wedding and thought he liked playing games. He tells her he does,
but HIS way as he grabs her into a big kiss (hello, in the lobby?
Some executive behavior there). A young black man watches from
nearby with a big smile on his face. Roman suggests they get out
of there, but Kate tells him they'll just to her office and lock
the door.
Back To DiMansion
Cassie arrives and Tony learns Marlena is joining them. Rex goes
to tell cook they're ready and Cassie to hang up Marlena's coat.
Marlena tells Tony that it was John's suggestion she come and
Tony feels they have to work together to make the twins feel
loved.
Back At Basic Black
The stranger enters John's office saying this place is alright
and thought John was expecting him. John doesn't know him, but
his eyebrow raises as the man says the magic words. "I have
what you need to take Tony DiMera down". Freeze frame on
John's face at that statement as previews for tomorrow roll.
Preview:
Victor screams at Nicole that he hates her red blouse and to
take it off. She peels it off (leaving only her black bra on) and
throws it at him, John tells the man in his office that the house
of Dimera is coming down. The man asks if he's going for total
destruction and John answers "he won't know what hit him".
Standing next to Nancy's bed, Chloe is holding her baby sister
and introduces Brady to "Joy Wesley" her baby sister (beautiful
baby). Craig is sitting on the bed next to Nancy and all are
smiling, as the credits roll.

Salem has a new resident, as the Wesleys' baby
arrives, Sami and Lucas go head to head, Victor strengthens his
hold on Nicole, and John gets a whole slew of new gadgets to
fight against Tony. FYI, tomorrow's show is the first where Dena
Higley is listed as the new head writer.
At The Hospital
Chloe and Brady are resting on her bed when the nurse comes in to
check her temperature. It seems that she has had her first
radiation treatment and she is very weak. While the nurse is with
her, Brady leaves. She questions the nurse about Nancy. In the
labor room, Nancy's contractions are getting stronger but she is
still begging Craig to let her go and see Chloe. After the nurse
leaves Chloe, she gets up unsteady and heads out the door. Brady
drops in to see the Wesleys to get an update for Chloe. About
that time, Nancy informs Craig that she thinks her water just
broke, so he calls for Dr. Bader. She arrives, telling Nancy she
isn't going anywhere. Craig goes outside and gives Brady an
update and he rushes off to tell Chloe. But when he gets to her
room, she isn't there and he panics. He grabs a wheelchair and
goes in search of her. We see her slowly making her way down the
hall. He finds her on the verge of collapsing and puts her in the
wheelchair and off to Nancy's room they go. Later, Nancy is in
the throes of giving birth as Brady brings Chloe in. Brady goes
back outside as Dr. Bader tells Nancy to go for it as Craig and
Chloe encourage her ad then we hear the baby crying. Later, Dr.
Bader gives the baby to Craig to hold as he coos over her and
tells her he will spoil her rotten. He gives her to Nancy who is
thrilled. She asks Chloe if she wants to hold her, so Craig gives
her to Chloe. She asks about the baby's name and Craig and Nancy
tell her that they are leaving that up to her. As she talks to
the baby, she says something about her bringing such joy and
decides that will be her name, Joy Wesley. Craig and Nancy
approve as Chloe turns the baby toward Brady and introduces Joy
Wesley to him.
Over At Sami's Place
Brandon comes home to find Sami dressed in one of his shirts and
they kiss. She has lunch ready for him and plans on desert in the
bedroom. As they kiss on the sofa, Brandon mentions something
about wanting to take her out tonight to Tuscany. She is all for
it, until she remember she Will tonight. She calls Lucas to try
and pawn him off, but Lucas doesn't answer. So she decides to go
over there. She throws on a trench coat and heads across the hall.
Deb (the nurse that Lucas picked up at dotCom) comes to the door
in a robe as we hear Lucas calling for her. He joins them and
notices that Sami is wearing a trench coat and not much else. He
tells her sorry, he doesn't feel like a three-way today (ROFL!)
as Sami's jaw drops. Deb goes to the bedroom as Sami and Lucas
get into it. She calls Deb his wind-up slut and accuses him of
playing "hide the thermometer" with the nursing staff.
(Hmmm, sounds like jealousy to me). They banter back and forth as
he tells her what he does is none of her business. She said that
he just made it her business. Deb comes back out (dressed) and
goes to leave. After she and Lucas kiss good-bye, Sami tells him
to put his tongue back in his mouth. They begin to argue over
Will and Lucas says that because of one careless moment, he is
forced to share the rest of his life with the one person he hates
the most, her. He says that even though, the sex wasn't that bad
and tells her that she does look good, in the trench coat. In
fact, she reminds him of his favorite x-rated movie. She yells at
him to go to hell and storms out. After she is gone, he chuckles
and says "got her again!"While Sami was gone, Nicole
came by to see Brandon. She sees the candles, etc. and goes to
leave, but Brandon stops her, demanding to know what that "bastard"
has done to her now. She tries to cover, but Brandon can see that
she is miserable. Brandon urges her to leave Victor and she says
she can't. There is a knock at the door, it's Nico telling her
it's time to go home. She assures Brandon she is fine and leaves
with Nico. After they leave, Sami rushes in, ranting about Lucas.
He tells her that Nicole was there and she goes off on her,
calling her a trashy loser. Of course, Brandon defends his sister.
Brandon finally forgives her, after Sami points out that Nicole
isn't nice to her either. He tells her that she is human and she
asks what can she do to make him happy. But he is still worried
about Nicole, and Sami says that Nicole isn't stupid and can take
care of herself and for him not to worry about her. They begin to
kiss.
At The Kirakis Mansion
Earlier, Victor was eating breakfast when Nicole came down and
poured herself a cup of coffee. He called her a "pig at the
trough" for not sitting down. Then he tells her to take off
that slutty blouse or he'll rip it off. She refuses to take it
off so he grabs her by the arm and twists it behind her,
reminding her he saved her from death row. He chastises her for
being late and lays down a few ground rules. From now on, she
will be up and down for breakfast at 6 am and no more drinking (he
had Henderson lock up all the liquor). He also tells her he also
cancelled her hair appointment and from now own, they will come
to her. He also cut off her credit cards as she is now totally
dependant on him. He yells at her to again take off that blouse,
so she rips it off and throws it at him and storms off. (This is
when she went to visit Brandon).Later, Nico brings her in as she
complains. Victor adds insult to injury, telling her that she no
longer works at Titan, she has been fired. He wants her available
to him at all times. He informs her that her purpose in life is
only to please him.
At Basic Black
John questions Odel P. Smith (he prefers to be called OPS) as to
who he is as he pulls out a gun. (LOL as John asks what the
"P" stands for and Ops tells him if he tells him that,
he will have to kill him). Ops chatters on and on about his name
but John wants to get down to business when he sees his id and
learns he is really from the ISA. He pulls out a bag of funky
gadgets, including some kind of weird glasses, a remote control
detonator, a global positioning device and a wireless remote (something
or other). He also gives him a small button with 2 wires on it
calling it "Wally Wabbit". He explains that it is a
listening device. Ops asks what is the deal with DiMera as he
chuckles about John keeping him away from his wife. He apologizes
as John pulls out some cuff links that are also digital video
cameras. Ops goes on about how he did a case study on "Papa
DiMera" and how he controlled the lives of John, Hope and
Marlena over the years. He also talks about using Tony and
Marlena and the result of the "test tube twins". (He
refers to Stefano as "Steffy D"). John gives him the
evil eye as Ops says he will stop talking about John's personal
business. Then he sees a picture of Marlena on John's desk and
says he understands why John would fight to the death for her, it
looks like she still has the magic. He asks if Marlena knows that
John is back with the company again. Ops then explains about he
gun he had and how it doesn't fire bullets, but instead, it
disables security systems. Ops goes to leave as John tells him
that he is going to bring down the house of DiMera, Tony won't
even know what hit him.
Preview:
Abby excited tells Jack and Jen to look at what Grandpa Bill
sent her from Africa. Jack asks "what the HELL is that?",
Bo is choking Larry through the bars, asking him what it feels
like to have his life in someone else's hands, Tony tells Larry
that once the judge passes his life sentence, he will be a dead
man, Larry and Hope come face to face, as he tells her "Always
a pleasure." And the credits roll.
