MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2003
Episode # 9503

Director: Herb Stein
Jack and Jennifer spend a romantic evening, as Brady and Chloe do
the same, Marlena has a breakthrough in her memories and
discovers something startling, Larry is apprehended by Bo as
Shawn comes to the rescue of Hope and Belle, Roman is torn over
what to do, and ends up arresting his nephew.
On DiMera Island
John, Marlena and Tony all go to the tower room as Marlena says
it is just like walking into one of her dreams. She says that
something happened to her there. She says "yes, yes, yes,
everything is just the way it was." John asks Tony what is
going on as he swears that he only wants to help her remember and
is not trying to manipulate her. Marlena speaks up, saying she
will do what Tony asks. She feels that she is close to
remembering and will do whatever it takes. She hops up on the
gurney as she says she remembers. Tony asks here what she
remembers as she begins to have flashbacks and begins to moan and
groan. She talks about a terrible storm and wanting the pain to
stop. In the flashbacks, the camera pans back and we clearly can
see that she is giving birth, with Rolf as her doctor, as he is
telling her to push. You can hear a baby cry as he tells her she
has a beautiful baby boy. Back in real time, she says "he's
here". John asks "who's here?" and Marlena says
"my son" as both Tony and John look on, shocked. John
wants to snap her out of it, but she flashes back again as she is
delivering another child. This time, Rolf tells her it is a girl.
In real time, Marlena tells them that she gave birth to the twins
in this room, a boy and a gril. Tony says "you gave birth to
our babies, yours and mine" as he takes her hand and John
stares at them horrified.
Jack & Jennifer
Jack lies on the bed waiting for Jen (LOL as he turns the picture
of Abby around). Jen comes in dressed in an off-white gown
looking beautiful. They stare at each other. (no dialogue in
their first scene, and trust me, it is not needed). He finally
tells her she is beautiful as both admit to being a bit nervous.
He unties her robe as she pulls off his shirt and they fall to
the bed kissing. We later see them lying in bed kissing as Jack
pulls out their wedding album, surprised that Jen kept it. She
says she couldn't get rid of it and got it out the other day,
remembering their love from their wedding day. Jack says he never
stopped loving her and she admits that she is "deeply,
madly, completely in love with him, heart and soul". They
flip through the album, giggling at the pictures as Jen says that
they are amazing together. They talk of starting over as Jack
tells her that he wants to get her a new ring, if she is going to
marry him. She reminds him that it was SHE that proposed. He has
a surprise for her and pulls out her wedding ring. (It seems that
she had mailed it to him after their divorce was finalized). He
asks her to wear it so he can know that she is really his and she
smiles. Jack slips in on her finger and says "with this ring"
and they begin to kiss again.
Brady & Chloe
return to Green Mountain Lodge as she tells him that she was glad
to learn that what happened wasn't Nancy's choice and how this is
bringing them closer together. Brady has a big evening planned
for her, if she isn't too tired. Later, they go out to the hot
tub and he gets in, inviting her to join him. As she drops her
robe, he stares at her, telling her she is beautiful. She joins
him and they kiss. He turns on the CD player with one of his
favorite singers as we hear Chloe's voice singing. He begins to
sing along and they kiss. Later, he carries her inside and they
crawl into bed. Later, as she sleeps, he kisses her on the cheek
and says a quiet prayer asking that their time not be over. He
then lies down beside her.
At The Hospital
Roman listens as Bo tells Shawn to stay put and that he is
heading for the house. On his way out, he asks Roman to leave
Shawn alone. Kate offers Roman a shoulder to lean on, and asks
him what is wrong. He tells her of Shawn's confession and Kate is
as shocked as he is. She asks him what he is going to do and
Roman says he is forced to treat him like any other suspect. He
tells her how difficult this is for him and she asks if they (she
and Roman) should stay away from each other. Shawn is in the ER
working on the nurse to let him go. Roman goes to check on him
and finds he is gone. He calls the station and puts out an APB on
Shawn. Later, he gets a call from the Brady house, telling him
that Shawn is there, so he and Kate take off.
Over At The Brady House
Larry comes to in the basement, coughing. Upstairs, Belle weakly
calls out for help and is on the verge of passing out. We see
Larry outside now and hides in the bushes as Bo rushes up. The
cops (plain clothes man and woman) tell him that all has been
quiet and also tell him about the young blond arriving. Bo
deduces that it is Belle. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees
the manhole cover move and rushes over to it. We next see Larry
running through the sewers, with Bo in hot pursuit. Outside the
house, the cops are trying to get in but are having no luck.
Shawn rushes up and tosses them the keys, but that doesn't help
either. He looks inside and sees his mom and breaks out the
window, yelling "MOM". The cops break down the door and
Shawn happens to see Belle as well. As the cops carry Hope
outside, Belle is able to mumble about carbon monoxide and Shawn
breaks the railing she is cuffed to and carries her outside as
well. Bo finally catches up with Larry (they are in what looks
like an alley now). Bo traps him and they fight as Larry pulls
his gun. Bo kicks it out of his hands and they struggle. (Pretty
good fight scene staged here, looks realistic). Bo finally gets
the upper hand and overtakes Larry, demanding to know why he was
at his house. Larry tells Bo that he poisoned Hope and that she
is dead as Bo drags him off.The paramedics are now at the Brady
house as both Belle and Hope are getting oxygen. Shawn talks with
Belle, who tells him that this was all Larry's doing. He tells
her that she is safe now as she says she loves him. He hears his
mom mumbling and he goes to her, them telling that they love each
other. Shawn stands between the 2 gurneys, holding both their
hands and cries. Later, Belle tells them she is fine and removes
the mask. Shawn wants to know why she was there as she explains
about how Rex talked her into coming back. Shawn tells her that
he never wanted to turn away from her and will always love her.
Bo comes dragging Larry up, and as the cops take him away he says
it's NOT over. Bo rushes to Hope's side as Roman shows up as well
(sans Kate, he says he sent her home). Bo kisses Hope,
apologizing for not keeping her safe, but she says she is safe
now and asks him to stay with her. As Belle and Shawn hug, Roman
watches, knowing what he must do. Shawn tells Belle he loves her
and promises to never be away from her again. Roman butts in,
saying that is a promise he can't keep as he begins to read his
Miranda Rights. Bo, Hope and Belle all watch in horror, as it
fades to black.
Preview:
Victor snaps to Nicole: "You're my possession and always
will be" Sami: "This is the happiest I have ever felt"
Brandon: "Me too" Lexie (lying in bed): "No, this
can't be labor!" Shawn (in jail) to Belle: "You have to

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2003

Many of our Salemites have gone to bed (most are
woken up during the night) to go to the cop shop, bars and
hospital.
The Newlyweds
In their living room, Nicole tries to drink her sorrows away as
Victor reminds her that she's his "possession". He
closes the bar (after calling her a slut) by swiping the liquor
bottles onto the floor. She grabs her fur and said Ricardo will
drive her somewhere where she can drink herself to death and
hopefully forget his touching her all over. Leaving in tears,
Nico asks Victor if he should stop her, but Victor only wants him
to follow her and keep in touch with her driver. Sooner or later
she'll hang herself if he gives her enough rope. Nicole walks
into the Cheatin' Heart as the bartender is closing up. She
offers her watch for a drink, but he refuses saying it's illegal
to sell anyone a drink this late. Seductively slipping her strap
down her shoulder, she tells him he can give her one then.
Brandon's Pad
Brandon wakes Sami out of a sound sleep after telling her that
Lexie needs him as she's pregnant with his baby. He rolls her out
of bed onto the floor as Lexie joins Brandon in his bed and they
both laugh at Sami, saying it's a long way down, isn't it? Of
course it's a nightmare as Brandon wakens Sami out of it. She
pretends not remembering what the nightmare was about. Thinking
she's worried about moving in with him, he promises to not start
leaving the toilet seat up or beer cans around. She isn't
concerned about space and can live with the one closet and two
shelves in the medicine cabinet he offers, but asks if he can
live with a 9 year old. They both are sure everything will work
out fine and turn of the light. The phone wakes them up. It's a
drunk Nicole calling her baby brother from the bar. Sobbing she
tells him he was wrong, marrying Victor wasn't a mistake. She
tells him she's at Art's and he asks to speak with Art. Art tells
him he's at the Cheatin' Heart and Brandon asks him to keep
Nicole there until he gets there. Brandon tells Sami he's got to
leave and she understands, telling him she's going home too, to
see Will before school in the morning and tell him about their
exciting move (like that's going to excite him, moving away from
Lucas?)
At The Carvers
The Carvers are sleeping as the phone rings away (Lexie doesn't
even awaken until she hears Abe's voice). He's summoned to the
cop shop because Shawn's been arrested for Colin's murder. Abe
dons his suit and tie (can't he even wear a sweater that late at
night, poor Abe!) They both feel for all the Brady's have gone
through lately and how his uncle was the one who arrested him.
After Abe leaves, Lexie gets some cramps. She figures it's
Braxton Hicks, but calls Dr. Bader, wanting to meet her at the
hospital to be checked to make sure.
At The Cop Shop
Bo helps Hope follow Roman and Shawn in. Bo wants her to get
checked out at the hospital first. She refuses, concerned about
Shawn (thank goodness Doug and Julie have Zack, huh?) Shawn
figures it was time the truth came out as Bo tells his son he
doesn't have it in him to murder anyone. Belle walks in asking if
that's why Shawn's been pushing her away. Roman takes Shawn to
book him as Hope tells Bo she might have really killed Colin and
Shawn's covering for her. Not believing that, Bo helps Hope sit
down and calls Mickey. Belle asks Roman for a really big favor
while Shawn's being booked. We see Shawn getting fingerprinted
and his mug shot taken before getting his standard blue jump suit
and shoes. Roman takes Belle to the visiting room and will give
her and Shawn a few minutes together. The guard stands inside the
room after bringing Belle in. Belle tells him nothing's changed.
They love each other. He keeps insisting he shot Colin and tells
her she deserves someone better. She realizes he loves her and
that's why he was pushing her away. Frustrated, he tells her he
loves her so much that her happiness is more important to him
then his own. Belle's happy to be part of his life again and
understands what he's going through and won't let anything come
between them again. Guard tells them time is up and Shawn asks
her to let go and look forward to her future. This is his forever
as he sadly looks back at her while leaving.Abe arrives and Bo
and Hope tell him what happened. (does Abe even know they caught
Larry yet?) Abe can't believe Roman would arrest his own nephew
without reason. Bo tells him why did he expect to get any support
from this department, but Abe assures him they're all family and
short of breaking the law, look after their own. Roman returns
and tells them Larry's been booked and in his cell (Abe didn't
look surprised). Bo rants about his son's doing time with Welch,
but his son's the one booked for a capital offense. Roman
mentions they gave Shawn a chance to open up, even mentioning the
broken tuxedo stud. It's the first Abe's heard of that and
worried what would have happened if the DA learned they were
withholding evidence, they'd lose their badges. Hope reminds them
it's her son in there (opposed to someone else's son?) and Abe
apologizes. Belle joins them, telling them that Shawn figures
he'll be in jail the rest of his life. Hope asks Abe to speak to
her son, wanting him to open up as she figures Shawn's been
holding back because of her. Still unstable on her feet, Bo would
prefer she get checked out first. Abe takes Belle and Hope with
him. Hope and Shawn talk in the visiting room. She asks if he's
covering for anyone. He tells her no, he did it. She asks why,
did Colin threaten him? Shawn tells her no, he did it for dad.
Roman apologizes to Bo. Bo doesn't believe it, saying Roman was
like a bulldog, especially after everything his wife and son have
been through tonight (well, a day in Salem is a week in real
time, haha). The brothers argue about if there were extenuating
circumstances with what happened with Shawn and Colin. Bo argues
his son will have an arrest record the rest of his life so Roman
could follow the DA's rules. Bo rants he'll never forgive Roman
for choosing his job over his family. Roman and Abe ask Belle if
Shawn said anything to her. Hope hurriedly returns after seeing
Shawn, asking to speak with Bo. Before she gets a chance to,
Mickey arrives and Bo asks Mickey if they can speak to Shawn
together. Abe agrees.
Cheatin' Heart
Brandon arrives at the Cheatin' Heart as Artie and Nicole play
rock/scissors. He asks why she's there and not home with her
wonderful husband. Asking for an explanation she drunkenly tells
him she's rich now. Nico arrives to take Celeste home. Brandon
offers to take on Nico and take her to his apartment instead, but
Nicole knows she'd better go with Nico and leaves.
Salem U Hospital
Guess Sami detoured by the hospital in the middle of the night as
she catches Lexie (not realizing it was Lexie) as she starts to
collapse at the counter. Lexie assures them it's Braxton Hicks
and she's waiting for Dr. Bader to arrive (NO one sleeps in Salem
tonight, haha). The nurse asks Sami why she's 5 hours early! Sami
tells her the voice mail's down and she needs to take the next
day off. The nurse asks her how many vacation days does she have
left? (good one!) Sami tells her she needs to take a personal day
off to move, which Lexie overhears and asks about. Sami happily
tells her she's moving to Brandon's place. Dr. Bader arrives, not
upset Lexie got her up out of her bed. Sami overhears Lexie
mentioning to Dr. B. how Abe didn't want a fertility test a long
time ago, but apparently didn't need one. Sami jumps a mile when
Eugenia, the lab tech, taps her on her shoulder (love her comment
about how Sami should be use to watching over her shoulder). She
tells Sami she's backing up patient files in the lab, pulling an
all nighter, and found out that Sami switched the paternity test
results for Lexie. She asks Sami who's going to tell Dr. Carver
the truth.
Back To Brandon's
Brandon returns home and calls Sami. He gets her answering
machine figuring she's sleeping. He tells her he misses her
already and doesn't mind playing second fiddle to the other guy
in her life (Will). He promises to never hurt Will the way his
father hurt him and how much he loves her.
Back To The Cop Shop
Now in the revolving door visiting room, Mickey and Bo ask
Shawn to stop being noble and open up. Tell them exactly what
happened the night Colin was shot. He agrees. He tells them about
overhearing Colin telling Bo to return to his place so he could
blow him away. Bo's shocked at that as Shawn says he knew what he
was doing, he shot him in the back. Bo doesn't believe it and
will prove Shawn's innocence. Back in his office, Abe feels for
Roman, knowing how he feels after arresting his own wife for a
murder she didn't commit. Roman explains hearing Shawn confess
and doesn't believe Bo would ever forgive him.
Back To Victor's Prison
Nicole returns home, upset. Victor tells her she's his body and
soul. Either here or in prison. He has irrefutable proof that she
murdered Colin Murphy.
Preview:
Chloe brushes her hair and looks in the mirror, shocked, Rex
tells Cassie that being Tony's away, they can search the place.
She hopes Tony doesn't find out, or there will be hell to pay.
John walks into a room (looks like he just worked out) and asks
Marlena what she's doing in DiMera's bedroom (strange, looks like
Tony's in black and white tones while the rest of the room's in
color) Sami tells Brandon that she feels so torn.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2003

Tony thinks he has confirmation on his parental status - tho John
& Marlena are not so sure, Sami's moving plans get changed,
while Cassie & Rex embark on a hunt.
Brandon's Pad
Brandon answers the door to find Sami, a bit upset. She tells him
it is not going to work, she cannot move in with him. Seems Will
freaked out, accusing Sami of trying to separate him from his dad.
Brandon says not a word, leaves the room, returns in a bit,
dressed, (oh, forgot to say he was shirtless) and with a suitcase.
He tells Sami he is going "home". He'll move in with
Sami instead. He goes on about how important a father is, that
Will is very lucky to have such a caring dad in Lucas (unlike his
own childhood) and that he hopes to also be a good father figure
to Lucas. (Hope you can hold that temper around him, Brandon).
They both engage in some lovey dovey talk on the sofa (like
telling her she is great in bed, but a lousy cook, lolol), then,
remembering to take along his Boston fern, (Sami is a stitch, for
sure) and with one last look around his place, they leave.
Green Mountain Lodge
Chloe awakens alongside Brady in bed, flashes back to their
evening in the hot tub, leans over to kiss him, and gets up,
putting on her robe. She looks into the mirror, discovering a
nosebleed. She retreats into the bathroom, as Brady wakes up. He
peeks into bathroom, sees Chloe tending to her nose, but steps
back calling to her. She doesn't tell him, as she comes out,
wanting breakfast. Brady has brought in the paper, and is
ordering pancakes w/strawberries, as Chloe opens the paper and
reads the headline, about Shawn. She tells him they must return
home immediately. Brady tells her she must call her dad, yes he
knows she has had a nosebleed, but it may have been triggered by
the hot tub/cold night air on the previous evening. They read the
story, he tries calling Belle in Paris (oops, she didn't go,
Brady) to let her know. We next see them arriving at the Wesley
place, and no one is home. Chloe goes upstairs, running back
down, panicked, as Nancy's "hospital" suitcase is gone.
They try calling the hospital, as her cell phone rings. It is
Craig, telling her that Nancy went into labor, and her baby
sister is being born right now. (O.K., I KNOW I am not gonna be
the only one feeling cheated by not seeing Craig or Nancy during
those scenes, shame on Days!) She excitedly tells Craig they will
be right there, and he should tell Nancy she loves her.
DiMansion
Cassie comes in to find Rex on the sofa, busy with his laptop.
She says she had to escape the dorm, as everyone was coming into
her room with questions about Shawn. (Looks like Shawn is
definitely gonna get an incomplete this semester, so will Belle,
probably). Rex is researching crime on the computer, and talks of
how the innocent sometimes get convicted, while the guilty walk.
They talk of their friendship with Shawn, and with Belle. Rex is
onto the fact that Cassie is not happy she no longer shares a
"secret" with Shawn, and talks of how neither Belle nor
Shawn ever lied to them. They talk of how they wrongly trusted
some people they met, who had ulterior motives, and how they
should not have trusted them. Cassie, of course, brings up
Marlena, but Rex includes Tony, saying he seems to not be
entirely truthful with them. They decide to take advantage of his
absence and search the house.
The Island
John & Marlena wake up, and talk of her recalled memories of
the night before. John is not too sure they are true memories (and
that's a fact, John!) but Marlena is convinced they are, and she
is mother to those twins. (Ah, but maybe not bio mom, Marlena),
but that Tony may not necessarily be the father. John goes for a
5 mile run, and Marlena goes to see Tony. He talks of parenting
the children together, and she talks of how she & Roman
parented Sami & Eric, after both of them being separated from
them for years. She tells Tony that the blood marker he shares
with Cassie is not absolute proof he is the father. John returns
to his empty bedroom (fast runner, that John) goes looking for
Marlena, and is not pleased to find her in DiMera's bedroom. (Oh,
John, you know better!). They all talk more about the twins and
the parentage, and Tony calls up Rolf on his palm pilot. (I think
that is what it is, anyway, it has a screen which shows Rolf's
face). Rolf is in the DiMera's computer room, and getting the
beep, sits down at a computer to answer. They talk back and
forth, no keyboards. He tells Rolf to take off that ridiculous
wig (the Prof. Putnam one) which Rolf does. He shows Marlena, who
recognizes him. John does not seem to do so. Tony begins to
harshly question Rolf about the t wins parentage. Rolf refuses
any info, saying he cannot give it. Tony asks if his sperm was
taken to "father" the twins. Rolf will not tell, saying
Tony is going into dangerous area. Rolf can hear other voices,
asks where Tony is, and who is with him. Tony tells him he is
where it all began, on the island, that John & Marlena are
with him, and he wants answers. Rolf finally admits only that
perhaps he did take a sample from Tony (let's not even think HOW!)
but will not say any more. (That STILL does not mean Tony is the
father. The sample could be of something else, not sperm, thus
certain cells were isolated and used. - yeah, I'm babbling here,
sorry) John becomes enraged, grabs the palm pilot, yelling - what
have you done to my wife? He warns he is coming after Rolf, who
quickly disconnects, and begins to pack up his things.Oops, too
late, here come Cassie & Rex on their treasure hunt, and
looks like they found the mother lode! Rolf gets his wig back on
in time, along with his Kennedy accent, and assures a very
surprised Rex & Cassie that he has permission to be there. He
claims some research project Tony is funding, and they should not
tell a soul. He won't tell them what it is, and practically runs
out the door. Cassie remarks how all this equipment is new, Rex
agrees. They decide to investigate the machines, and Rex loves
nothing better than a high tech challenge. He sits down at the
computer, but is unable to break in, and decides to try again
later. They agree not to say anything to Tony, since he has his
secrets, they will have their's.Back with the trio in the DiMera
bedroom, Marlena is sure Tony is the father, after what they
heard. John asks if Rolf is still under tony's employ, but Tony
says he wants nothing to do with Rolf, that he was Stefano's
right hand man. Marlena is accepting Tony as the father, and they
talk of parenting the children together. (Puleeze, this is
ridiculous, Rex & Cassie are grown up and in college). John
is suspicious, and he & tony butt heads over who will tell
the twins about Marlena being the mother. They ask Tony to leave,
so they can talk privately (hey, that is HIS bedroom! Lol). He
does, but listens outside the door, as John tells Marlena that he
loves her, loves her more than his hatred for Tony, or distrust
of the twins. He will go along and support her, stand by her, and
they will do it all together. Marlena is very happy, telling John
how much she loves him. Tony comes back in, and John &
Marlena leave. Tony, smiling, says aloud how he looks forward to
telling the good news to the twins, Marlena, just the lst of many
things we do together. It's only the beginning.

A new morning in Salem as Shawn's family and friends deal with
his arrest and the real murderer is finally revealed! (Unfortunately
no scenes with Craig and Nancy having the baby.)
Salem PD
Jack tells Abe they're making a big mistake arresting Shawn. Abe
said Shawn confessed, they didn't have a choice. Jack reminds him
how innocent people have confessed before (LOL, like him). Abe
says no comment, but DA Palmer arrives and announces they're
going to prosecute Shawn to the full extent of the law. He wants
Jack to let the public know that Shawn will not get any special
treatment because his name is Brady either. Palmer tells him that
if the city had spent as much time and money hunting down Colin's
murderer as they did Larry Welch, Shawn would have been in prison
right now (they must have a fast court system in Salem). He tells
Abe that Shawn isn't the only Brady being scrutinized right now.
If Bo compromises the case in any way, Bo and Shawn will have
adjoining cells in prison. Shawn, handcuffed, is brought into the
visiting room to see Belle. The guard waits outside as Shawn
tells Belle he didn't sleep all night and his father was there
all night questioning him. He tells her his father is in denial
and lets out how Cassie has known all along and told him anyone
else knowing would become an accessory. Belle leaves, angry at
Shawn for keeping something else from her.Abe comes in to talk
with Shawn, but Mickey tells him not without his presence. Shawn
tells Mickey he's taking responsibility for his actions, that's
what Brady's do and how Mickey is not needed. Bo arrives and he
and Abe want Shawn to repeat exactly what happened that night. We
get a full flashback from the time Shawn sees Colin, wrestling
for the gun, losing the tux stud, his encounter with Colin and
finally shooting the gun with Colin falling. Bo (and Abe) both
agree that they believe Shawn and how forensics concluded that
Colin was shot up close in the gut from the front. Shawn
rationalizes Colin was close enough that he saw his expression
and was turning when he shot him. He shot him to prevent Colin
from killing him (Bo) and guilty is guilty. Speaking of Cassie,
she gets pushy with the cops, demanding to see Shawn. Belle
leaves the visiting room and runs into Cassie in the hallway. (How
do all these civilians get into the heart of the police station
is what I'd like to know!!) She asks Cassie how she could do that
to her. Cassie smirks, calling Belle "Honey", saying
not to yell in her face. Belle's just warming up, calling Cassie
a manipulative liar to do whatever she could to get closer to
Shawn and how it's only hurt his case now. Cassie disagrees,
saying she's only helped Shawn and he's all she cares about. The
guard tells the "kids" they have to leave (about time!).
He hears Belle tell Cassie it's over and she's not going to let
her get away with that (wonder if that will prove useful at a
later time?). Belle follows Cassie and blasts her for convincing
Shawn to not tell anyone about what happened to have their own
little romantic secret. If anything happens to Shawn, it's all
Cassie's fault. Rex comments on how everyone is out for them
selves he's come to learn and Belle turns around, telling him
optimism is good before announcing that she's heading off for the
arraignment. Cassie announces she's coming too (should have kept
quiet Belle).
Cheatin' Heart
Roman is shooting pool when Kate arrives, asking how he's doing.
He rants at first until she reminds him that he wanted her in his
life. He apologizes and says he's not going to the arraignment
today. Later we see Kate laughing (in her white pant suit) after
clearing the pool table of balls, proud of her victory. They sit
down to a steak and eggs breakfast and Roman reflects back to his
childhood when they went to church on Sunday and came home to
have a big breakfast. He remembers how pop got sick when Roman
was a teen and he had to become the man of the family. Roman
remembers how Bo was a maverick even as a kid and resented Roman.
He remembers (black and white flashback) of what Bo said to him
in the station about not forgiving him for choosing his job over
his family. Kate knows it may take time and even if Shawn's
convicted of murder, feels Bo won't blame him. They talk about
how it's different when it's family and reminds him how he was
quiet about Sami taking his gun. He tells her he would have
arrested Sami if the evidence showed she was guilty. The system
has to work, family or not. Kate asks if the two of them have a
chance and he tells her he hopes so and they kiss. She tells him
that he's the best and the best don't hide from their problems.
He needs to go to the arraignment along with the rest of his
family.
Brady Pub
Hope is happy to see her baby as Mom and Pop field the reporter
phone calls. Caroline suggests Zack take a nap and dispatches
Grandpa Shawn off with the little guy. Hope looks at the headline
and wonders how Jack and Jennifer could make Shawn's arrest the
headline. Hope tells Caroline she's not talking to the press as
Jen walks up, asking not even her. Jen explains they just
reported the facts that are everywhere in the news. Hope
understands and Jen tells her cousin that she and Jack are going
to do everything they can do to prove Shawn's innocence. Needing
a change of topic, Hope asks about Abby and notices Jen's ring.
Jen confirms she and Jack are back together, which brings a big
smile to Hope's face (and ours). The cousins agree they're going
to find out the truth. Hope gets a message to come to the police
station ASAP and Jen (and Jack who joins them) say they'll see
her at the arraignment. Jen's really worried about Shawn. Jack
has a present for her. It's a framed picture of her, Abby and him
(looks like Christmas morning? Wonder who snapped it?) She loves
it and he tells her he's devoting his life to making her happy.
Awwww.
Breakfast With The Kiriakis'
Victor enjoys taunting Nicole about the evidence he's got on her
murdering Colin. Henderson interrupts with the newspaper, which
Victor reminds him that he doesn't read until he gets to the
office (then how come it's delivered to the mansion?). Knowing
he'd want to see today's edition, Victor looks at it and orders
Henderson to get Bo on the phone. Henderson tells him Bo's on the
terrace, looking for clues. Victor joins him and agrees Shawn
didn't murder anyone. Glancing over at Nicole in the doorway, he
tells him definitely not. Bo tells his father that Shawn's
statement doesn't square with the forensic report. It couldn't
have been his gun that shot Colin Murphy. Nicole looks very
worried as she lurks from inside the doorway. Bo has Victor help
by standing where Shawn stood and he stands where Colin was.
Describing how Colin fell, Bo realizes the shot came from the
bushes. Bo remembers the arraignment and rushes off after Victor
asks Bo to call if he can help in any way. Bo thanks him and
tells him he might do that. Shivering in her sleeveless dress,
Nicole joins Victor on the terrace (shut the darn door please!).
Commenting on her worried look, he tells her he won't let his
grandson go to jail for her. Inside he demands the truth, so we
see what REALLY happened as she tells Victor. Shawn must have
dropped the gun by Colin and left. Nicole (in her bridal veil and
gown) walked out on the terrace and saw Colin lying in the snow.
He got up and brushed himself off, but she figured this might be
her chance to stop the blackmail. She picks up the gun and
pointing it at him. Calling her a bitch, he insists on her
handing over the gun (obviously still not realizing that it is
NOT wise to call names and make demands while being threatened).
She's distraught and begs him to promise to stop the blackmail.
Calling her a slut, he refuses and goes for the gun. They
struggle and the gun goes off, into his gut. (in my own head I'm
cueing up the chorus from the song Cell Block Tango from
CHICAGO soundtrack:

Have done the same!Sorry, I digress, haha). Nicole watches Colin
fall in the snow. Back to current time, she's crying and telling
Victor she only meant to scare Colin, not hurt him. She didn't
know what to do, so she ran. Victor asks if she was going to let
his grandson take the blame (in all fairness, she just heard
about that part), but she reminds Victor that he was the one who
invited Colin to the wedding. He tells her to shut up and get the
gun. He knows she kept it to make sure it didn't get in the wrong
hands. She leaves to get the gun. (Victor solves more murders
then the Salem PD, perhaps they should hire him?) Nicole returns
with the gun (don't these people watch Law and Order? You bag it!)
Victor examines the gun and notices two shots were fired,
wondering why the police didn't find the shell casings. Nicole
tells him she picked them up and gives them to him. He sees one
had the name BO on it. He walks off with Nicole asking what he's
going to do. She asks Henderson where her husband went and he
tells her Police Headquarters. To herself, she says, "Oh my
God, he's turning me in".
The Arraignment
Jack and Jen arrive to find the room almost empty. She goes to
talk to Mickey and Jack goes to call the office. Belle is angry
Cassie came and asks Mickey what Shawn's chances of getting off
are. Mickey's not very encouraging. Rex tells Cassie that Belle's
right, they shouldn't be there. Roman and Kate arrive. Pop and
Mom have a hard time looking at him. Jack tells Mickey and Belle
that Carson Palmer is out for Brady Blood.
Back To The Cop Shop
After being summoned from the pub, Hope joins Bo and Shawn in the
interview room. Bo agrees Shawn might have pulled the trigger,
but doesn't think Shawn's bullet is the one that killed Colin. He
asks Shawn what he did after shooting Colin. Shawn said he went
over and saw that Colin was dead, dropped the gun and left. Bo
speculates that Shawn's bullet went out to the lake, but the gun
wasn't by Colin when the police got there. Obviously someone
came, shot Colin in the gut at close range and took off with the
gun. Bo and Hope are not successful in getting Shawn in changing
his plea of GUILTY.Victor arrives at the cop shop, asking to
speak with Larry Welch as we see.
Preview:

Brandon asks Nicole what Victor's doing to her, and she tells him
"she's as good as dead".
Lucas rants at Sami that she likes to lie and play games. She
throws something at him as he tells her that every man she's
tricked into her bed has gotten wise to her. Mickey tells the
judge the defendant pleads guilty. Belle jumps up saying "Shawn,
no".

Today is the day of Shawn's arraignment, Sami tries
to back Brandon into a corner, Victor pays a visit to Larry in
jail, a panicked Nicole must decide between turning herself in or
running.
Down At The Cop Shop
Abe is on the phone with the medical examiner as Lexie arrives
with something for him to eat. They talk about Shawn's dilemma
and he can see that Lexie is upset by all of this. She says that
they have such dreams for their son and is sure that Bo and Hope
had the same for theirs. She hates that they are going through
all this and feels for them. She mentions the false alarm the
night before (didn't mean to mention it to Abe) and he wants to
know all about it. She tells him not to worry, she went to the
hospital and it was only Braxton Hicks and false labor. He asks
her to promise to tell him if there is anything else. He mentions
needing to head to the arraignment, but wants to drive her home
first. She assures him that she is fine and can drive. After she
leaves, a cop comes in and informs him that Larry Welch has a
visitor, Victor Kiriakis.
In His Cell
Larry has a vistor, Victor. Larry talks about the last time
Victor visited him in jail and how he convinced him to be his
fall guy. Larry asks what does he want this time? Victor tells
him he wants him to help solve a murder, that of Colin Murphy.
Larry chuckles and says that everyone knows it was Shawn Brady
and mouths off about how Shawn knocked him off the front pages of
the paper. Victor tells him not to worry, he will be back in the
spotlight soon. Victor pulls out the shell casing with "BO"
on it and tells Larry that he knows it was HIS plan, what went
wrong? Larry says that Murphy was an incompetent hit man. Victor
tells Larry that he has something he wants him to do as Larry
says it sounds like déjà vu all over again. At first Larry
refuses, but Victor tells him that he will take the rap for
Colin's murder, or he is a dead man. Larry finally gives in just
as Abe arrives asking why Victor is there. Victor says he is
there to get a look at the man who almost killed his daughter in
law. Abe assures Victor that he will pay as Victor leaves. Larry
tells Abe that he has something he needs to get off his chest.
At Sami's Apartment
Nicole arrives to looking for Brandon and isn't the happiest of
campers to learn that Brandon has moved in with her. She says
that Sami is "leading him around by his anatomy" (ROFL).
Lucas walks up and agrees with Nicole. Sami and Lucas get into a
heated argument as Brandon suggests that Lucas go inside and
discuss it with Sami as he and Nicole talk in the hallway. NOT a
good idea, as Sami and Lucas' argument escalates to a physical
one with Sami throwing things at him. Lucas says he is worried
about Will as Sami insists that Brandon loves. Lucas insinuates
that he may try again for sole custody, which infuriates Sami. He
says that he is Will's father and that Will is to NEVER call
Brandon "dad". Sami insists that Brandon loves her and
that they will marry. Lucas practically laughs in her face over
this, which infuriates her further. Before he leaves, Lucas tells
Sami that Brandon will NEVER marry her.In the hallway, Nicole
rags Brandon for moving in with Sami. He can see she is upset and
asks her about Victor and she gets upset. He wants to know what
Victor has done to her and she says she is "as good as dead".
She swears she is fine and that they just had a fight because she
went out to that bar alone. She says that Victor is right and
that she shouldn't be out boozin' it up all over town.By this
time all of them are in the hall and Nicole tells Brandon not to
worry about her, she will be fine and leaves. Sami and Brandon go
inside and she asks him to never leave her alone with Lucas
again, she HATES him. She tells him that they should forget about
both Lucas and Nicole and focus on themselves. They begin to kiss
and she asks him if they should make if official. Uh-oh, wrong
question as there is a long silence from Brandon. He explains
that he loves her and is devoted to her but wants to take it slow.
Sami is disappointed but doesn't let him know and makes light of
it.At the elevator, Lucas and Nicole run into each other. He asks
her what is her problem and she asks for some change. After he
makes a joke about it he gives her a penny, saying that is all
she is worth. She flips it, saying "heads, I stay, tails, I
run". As she gets on the elevator, she tells Lucas that she
is turning herself in. LOL, as he asks "turning yourself
into WHAT?" (He has all the best lines today).
At The Courthouse
As the arraignment is set to begin, everyone settles into the
courtroom. Kate and Roman are there, as are Jack and Jen,
Caroline, popShawn, Belle, Rex and (yes) Cassie. (Funny, but I
don't think either Jack or Kate say 2 words the entire show).
PopShawn and Caroline both give Roman the evil eye as he takes
his seat. Roman tries to explain to his dad, but they don't want
to hear it. Belle takes the opportunity to tell Cassie to butt
out and that Shawn doesn't need her. In the hall, Mickey is
leading Shawn in as Bo and Hope plead with him to change his plea
to NOT GUILTY. Shawn says not a word as he is lead in and his
parents take a seat behind him. The judge enters and asks for a
plea. Shawn has flashbacks of the shooting as Mickey continues to
beg him to plead not guilty. Finally, Mickey tells the judge that
Shawn pleads guilty. Belle jumps up, causing a commotion until
the judge has her removed. Jen and Caroline go with her. After
Belle has said she loves him, Shawn changes his plea to not
guilty. Bo tells him that he won't regret it.Rex wants to check
on Belle and drags Cassie out with him. He goes to Belle and hugs
her and tells her the news. She is all excited that he changed
his mind as Jen and Caroline go back inside. Carson Palmer asks
that bail be denied and Bo erupts. In the hall, Cassie and Belle
get into it with Belle telling her that her help is NOT needed,
and that if she is called to testify, she could damage Shawn's
case. Cassie says she only wants to help him. Inside, the judge
threatens to toss Bo out along with Miss Black so he settles down.
Palmer points out Shawn's recent drug problem as Mickey attempts
to explain. The judge agrees with Palmer and bail is denied. They
dismiss as Shawn is lead away in handcuffs and Palmer tells him
that his special treatment is over. His only visitor will be his
lawyer, no girlfriend, no mommy and daddy, etc. Bo grabs Palmer
by the collar but then storms off. He runs into Roman and tells
him that he has proof that Shawn is innocent and proceeds to tell
him about the forensic evidence. Bo blames Roman for Shawn's
arrest as Hope has to break them up. She lets Roman know as well
that she isn't happy with him, but in a more civilized way. Belle
rushes in, hugging Shawn, telling him she KNOWS he will be found
innocent. She hugs him, telling him that she loves him as Cassie
watches. As they lead Shawn off, Bo assures him that he will be
out soon. He tells them that he loves them all and asks Bo and
Hope to watch out after Belle as it fades to black.
Preview:
Roman tells Bo that they need to talk. Bo says "fine, I'll
go first, GO TO HELL!" Bo says that he doesn't know which is
worse, his son being in jail or that his brother put him there.
Marlena tells Cassie and Rex that she is their mother. Tony says
"And I am your father, we are a family now".
