New Year's Day--nno show

It's New Year's Eve, as the Salemites get gussied up for
the big wedding, while Colin earns even more animosity than he
already has, and Hope sees Larry everywhere. The setup has begun for
Murder at Midnight!
The Loft
Chloe comes down the stairs, looking absolutely gorgeous, as Brady
soon tells her. They kiss, and the scene switches to the elevator,
where Shawn & Belle are lip locked, as they ride to the top and
back down again. (Does this not remind you of not being able to get
your tongue off the frozen lamp pole, lol). They talk of their
upcoming evening at Salem Inn, but first the wedding. They make it up
to the loft, and inside Chloe is telling Brady how she knows this is
his grandfather, but he doesn't care for her much, and she wishes
they did not have to go. The doorbell rings incessantly (how come no
one has ever used the bell before, hmmmm?) and Brady opens the door
to find Shawn & Belle at it again. Oops, so busy kissing, they
did not notice Belle was leaning on the bell.
At DiMansion
Cassie is holding mistletoe over her head, as she practices coyly
talking to Shawn. Rex grabs it away, telling her to get a grip, she
could put a whole mistletoe bush on her head, & Shawn still would
not kiss her, he loves Belle. Inside the library, Bart brings Tony a
report on Colin, which includes his $5 million check from Nicole, and
the plane tickets he reserved for the flight to Shannon airport. Tony
is furious, & declares that no one betrays the DiMera family and
lives to tell about it. Cassie & Rex arrive to overhear this last
part, and talk of protecting the DiMeras, much to Tony's surprise.
They sit down for something to drink, and he questions them, but they
want to see Prof. Putnam. Tony goes out in the hall, & Bart says
Rolf just pulled up. He walks in with his ridiculous Putnam wig, and
Tony lashes out at him, wanting to know what he has done to the
children., and tells him what they said. In the library, Rex wants to
find Putnam, but Cassie says, no, Shawn first. Out in the hall, Tony
is leaving, telling Rolf to guard the twins. Rolf goes into the
library, but the twins are gone.
Meanwhile At The Brady Pub
Colin is on his cell phone outside, checking to see that his $5
million is safely deposited in his account (WHO does he call for that
at that hour of the night on New Year's Eve?) . He then talks again
to the bullet he pulls out of his pocket, about his plans to do away
with Bo & Jack. Inside, Jack finds Jen in a booth, and tries to
get her to tell him what is troubling her, but she is too sad, and
cannot seem to find the words. Caroline, Bo & Hope chatter about
the wedding, Hope goes to the ladies room, and while looking in
mirror, sees Larry behind her. She turns, and no one. Back to mirror,
he is there, again. Roman appears at the Pub, to pick up his takeout
order, some good natured ribbing about take out on New Year's Eve,
but he clues everyone in to his date, who arrives, dressed to the
nines. Oops... but Kate is amenable to take out at Roman's place, and
watching the ball drop at midnight. As long as she is far away from
the wedding. LOL
Outside, Sami appears, telling Colin she knows what he is up to, she
will have no part of hurting Jack, or helping Colin do him in. They
argue big time, and Colin pours it on about what the revelations of
her changing those DNA results will do. Lose her job, lose custody of
Will, have her parents know she committed a felony, lose Brandon,
etc. etc. He really pours it on, and Sami stalks off.Inside, Jack
cannot get Jen to open up, but she will only say it concerns Colin,
and that Jack cannot be seen with her in the booth, as Colin will get
suspicious. Bo & Hope begin to leave to get dressed for the
wedding. Jen jumps up, claiming to be working on a story, & needs
some info, she grabs Bo, whispers in his ear that she cannot talk to
him there, and loudly saying Happy New Year to everyone. Bo &
Hope leave, along with Jack, as Colin comes in. He tells Jen he
cannot spend the evening with her, as he has to work, will see her
later, kisses her and leaves. Jack follows him. Later, Jen is picking
up her takeout order, when her cellphone goes off. Tis Jack,
informing her that Colin sure cannot be working in a tux, as he just
showed up at Victor's house for the wedding. Jen tells him to wait
there.
Meanwhile, At The Kiriakis Mansion
Brandon arrives early to see Nicole. She assures him all is
well, Colin got his check, she has the tape (gee Nik, have you made
sure it is the right one?) she is getting married in a while, and
once she is Mrs. K, she will have the power to deal with him. Brandon
is not convinced, and claims no one hurts his sister and gets away
with it. She tells Brandon, she is putting on this dress, and wants
to go get something to eat downstairs, as she is starved. Downstairs,
Victor is ordering Nico to make a clean sweep of Colin's room. Nico
asks if he is to still go ahead with the plans for Sami & Kate,
but Victor cancels them, mutter that Nicole may be unhappy with those
plans, but she has no idea what is in store for her. Brandon
overhears his threats against Nicole. Chloe,Brady,Shawn & Belle
arrive, followed by Bo & Hope. Poor Hope cannot talk to anyone,
without having their face dissolve into Larry's (now in a tux).
Nicole comes down, & snaps at Fay, who asked if she could get her
anything. Among other insults, she asks Fay to remember she is not
serving up French Fries, and that she is mother of the bride, try to
act like it). Fay leaves hurt, & Brandon tells Nicole that was
uncalled for. Nicole agrees. Colin arrives, and Nicole is shocked to
see him. She wanders over to ask what he is doing there, but Victor
comes up, saying it is at his invitation.
Outside, a bit earlier, Sami arrives to see Colin, saying he could
not be invited... and they get into a hassle again about her luring
Jack off. She runs off, and Colin goes in. But Jack is outside, as
Jen comes up, all dressed for the event, with clothes for Jack... he
has to change in the bushes, (ROTFL, as he moans about the cold).
They go inside, where Victor greets them, and Jen explains they are
covering the wedding for the Spectator, as their Society reporter has
the flu.
At Roman's Apartment
Roman & Kate are enjoying themselves, bantering back
& forth, and is not long before they take it upstairs. Outside,
even tho the house is dark, here comes Sami, once more gaining entry
with her key. Roman & Kate hear a noise, but then the fireworks
begin, and they decide they will make their own fireworks.
Downstairs, Sami sees Kate's purse, and realizes she is there, and
mutters a bit. She opens a drawer, takes out Roman's gun, and
leaves.
Back At The Mansion
Brandon confronts Colin, and berates him for his treatment
of Nicole. He grabs him by the shirt, but Jack comes up and breaks it
up. Brandon walks off, while Colin proceeds to gleefully tell Jack
the details of his afternoon tryst with Jennifer, bragging how they
made love for hours and hours (what a sleaze).Nicole goes upstairs to
change into her wedding gown. She finds a letter on her dressing
table, it's from Colin and extends his congrats on her nuptials,
while commenting that the $5 million was only a down payment. Behind
her, Victor walks into the room.Jennifer gets Bo, tells him they are
so close, and she wants to be wired now She informs him of Colin's
intention to do in Jack... and what she had to do to try and convince
him that Jack was no threat. She is in tears, as Bo hugs &
comforts her, and tells her she is no longer on the case. It is over
for her, and that he will deal with Colin. Hope goes outside for some
air, and comes upon Colin, on his cell phone, saying it is all set,
and he will kill Bo Brady tonight. Freeze frame on Hope's face.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 3,

It's Murder at Midnight at the Kirakis Mansion. Colin is
voted off the island as his fire is snuffed out during the wedding,
with a whole house full of suspects each with their own reasons (and
most of whom turn up missing during the ceremony). Since the whole
show centers around the wedding, the write-up today is pretty much in
order, act by act.
Act One
Chloe and Brady comment on how intense (or tense) everything/everyone
seems at the wedding. They just wish it were over already and they
could leave. Sami returns to the mansion and in the dining room,
pulls out Roman's gun, checking it out. Belle walks in and almost
catches her. Nicole reads in the letter from Colin how the 5 million
dollars is only a down payment and how she should save her pennies,
he will be back for more (as she has flashbacks of paying him off).
She turns around to find Victor standing there, asking who the letter
is from. Downstairs, Fay and Brandon discuss the wedding and how
Brandon feels the wedding is a mistake. Bo gets Jenn a drink to get
her to calm down as they discuss what she did. Bo promises to make
Colin pay for what he did and goes off to find him. Jack walks up and
tells Jenn what Colin told him earlier. He asks her if it's true and
her face falls, as does his. Hope goes outside for some air and
overhears Colin on the phone, saying he is going to kill Bo. He turns
around and she imagines he is Larry Welch pointing a gun at her. She
rushes back inside and runs into Shawn and almost freaks out.
Act Two
Shawn wants to know what is wrong, but she assures him that she is
okay and rushes off, but he is clearly worried about her. Alone, she
tries to convince herself that she just imagined it all. Fay can tell
that something is bothering Brandon as he explains that Colin Murphy
has hurt Nicole and that he is just scum. Jack begs Jennifer to tell
him that it isn't true, as she lowers her head, apologizing and tries
to explain. Bo comes into the dining area (where Sami and Belle are)
asking if either of them have seen Colin. After he leaves, Belle asks
Sami what is wrong. Sami brushes it off, saying that this is the
first wedding she has been to since Austin dumped her and she is just
upset. Sami tells Belle that she has something to do and rushes off
as Shawn enters. Belle comments on Sami's weird behavior and Shawn
says that everyone there is acting strange. Upstairs, Nicole hides
the letter from Victor as he asks why she is so upset. She claims the
letter is from her mother as she has flashbacks of rolling around on
the bed with Colin and then seeing the tape later. Again, Victor asks
her what is wrong, as there is a knock at the door. It's Bo, still
looking for Colin. In the hallway, Bo says that Colin has hurt some
people and is going to stop him. Victor tells Bo to let him handle
him. Bo assures him that he can take care of it and leaves. Victor
calls Nico and learns that all is set to "take care" of the good
doctor. Back downstairs, Chloe and Brady go outside to kiss as Colin
watches from the bushes, gun in hand.
Act Three
Victor returns to Nicole as she is beginning to get dressed. He grabs
her and asks if she is committed to him and asks if she has anything
to confide in him. She says that she loves him and looks forward to
being his wife as he kisses her on the cheek. He says he looks
forward to giving her the life that she deserves and leaves. (GULP)
She re-reads the letter and swears that no one will take this away
from her. Downstairs, Fay and Brandon continue to talk about how
nasty Colin is, Brandon explaining how he has hurt both Nicole and
Sami. He vows to take care of him and decides to go for a walk. Fay
begs him to not do anything foolish. Jack and Jenn continue to talk
as Jack asks if Colin forced her to do what she did. Then he tells
her that he can't listen to anymore and can't even look at her and
leaves. Jenn breaks down sobbing as Hope comes by and helps her out
of the room. Bo comes in (still looking for Colin, LOL) asking
Henderson about him. (Poor Henderson is a nervous wreck). On his way
out, Bo runs into Victor again and they discuss Colin again. Victor
barks at Henderson to round up the guests (LOL, as all the chairs are
empty) as Henderson jumps to it. He firs finds Brady and Chloe
outside on the patio kissing and rushes them inside. Colin sneaks
around to the window (where they were kissing) peering inside and
sees Bo with Victor, calling him a dead man.
Act Four
Hope is now outside with Jen, asking what is wrong with her. Jen
begins to explain. She rambles to Hope that she heard Colin say that
he was going to kill Jack and how she HAD to do it to save him and
now Jack hates her and she must make it right. She rushes off as Hope
stands there sort of dazed, remembering hearing Colin saying he was
going to kill Bo. Inside, Henderson does his best to get some of the
guests in place. Bo is worried because he doesn't see Hope anywhere
but Victor asks him to stay and wants to start the wedding. Outside,
Colin is still watching, gun in hand. Bo asks Shawn to go and find
his mother. The music starts, but Nicole is a no-show as Victor grows
impatient and goes to find her, he asks Bo to explain. LOL as Brady
and Chloe make cracks about it. (One of them says that maybe Nicole
gained a pound and her dress doesn't fit!) The minister asks if there
is a problem as Bo chuckles and says it is a big house, maybe the
bride got lost. Colin hears a rustling in the bushes behind and turns
with a startled look on his face.
Act Five
Bo tells the minister he must leave to go and find his wife and son
and runs into Victor and Nicole as they are entering. Bo tells Victor
that Hope is missing and he is going to look for her, but Victor asks
him to stay by his side during the ceremony so Bo agrees as he can
look for her later. The wedding starts as Victor practically drags
Nicole down the aisle (she stumbles and looks as if she is going to
faint at one point). At this point in time, Hope, Shawn, Jack,
Jennifer, Brandon, Sami are all MIA and no where to be seen). The
minister starts the ceremony and we see the ending where he tells him
to kiss the bride. He kisses a solemn looking Nicole as everyone
applauds. Shawn stumbles in the back of the room, rubbing his head
and acting very disoriented when Bo talks with him. Bo tells him to
go and have a good time and he will go and find his mother. As Bo
leaves, Shawn acts upset.
Act Six
As people congratulate the couple, Nicole squirms. Belle goes to
Shawn, chattering away about the wedding and how he didn't miss
anything. She notices that something is wrong with him and volunteers
to go with him and search for Hope. Victor asks Nicole why she was so
late as Fay congratulates them. She tells them that she is worried
about Brandon as Nicole tells her there is nothing to worry about
anymore. Brady and Chloe are glad it is all over and decide to leave
as they congratulate Victor and Nicole and say their goodbyes. Fay
notices that Nicole isn't wearing her veil as she says she just
forgot it. But as Brady and Chloe are leaving, we see the veil lying
in the snow outside.
Act Seven
Brady and Chloe return to the loft as both scream about just how bad
that wedding was. They are glad to be alone as Brady worries about
Victor making the wrong decision. Chloe wonders if he really loves
Nicole. Brady says someone has to, after all, she IS beautiful, if
you like that type (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, for all of you that
don't know, Kyle Lowder (Brady) and Ari Zuker (Nicole) are married in
real life). He says he is into THIS type and kisses Chloe. They have
their own New Years celebration, with party hats, sparkling cider and
noise makers. Back at the wedding, Fay goes outside to hunt for
Brandon as Victor chastises Nicole for forgetting her veil (he says
he won't tolerate that type of lax behavior). He accuses her of
lying. Outside, Fay finds Jen and asks if she has seen Brandon. Jack
walks up as Jen begins to apologize to him. Jack doesn't want to hear
it, he wants to just forget about Colin. She says she can't. He will
be with her.
Act Eight
Chloe and Brady kiss and wish each other Happy New Years. He asks her
about resolutions and she says she is just going to live in the
moment and take it as it comes. He asks if he can join her as they
toss the confetti in the air. Back at the wedding, Victor and Nicole
get more congratulations then Victor grabs her by the arm as she goes
to leave. He says he KNOWS why she was late. Outside, Fay is yelling
for Brandon. Sami is seen at Roman's place returning the gun. She
says "I did it for us, Brandon". Shawn walks up to Victor and Nicole,
asking if they had seen Hope or Belle (they had split up outside).
Jack and Jenn are now in the foyer as he asks her if she wants to be
with Colin. She says no, she HATES Colin and wanted him dead, she had
prayed for that. And now that prayer has been answered. Outside Belle
hears Fay calling for Brandon and she begins calling for Hope. Bo
goes home and calls for Hope, with her coming out of the kitchen.
Belle turns the corner and finds Colin's lifeless body lying in a
puddle of bloody snow and begins screaming. As Hope rubs her head, Bo
notices blood on her hand and asks "What happened to you?" Fade to
black.
