That was pretty cool until the first week of september when it ended. At one
point the canadian version was put in a 3:30-4:30 timeslot
which ended at the
same time. I guess if was good for people who missed a show as they could watch
both the american & canadian version & be caught up.

: It's a new day in Salem as Kate and Sami get into it, AGAIN…Greta decides to move out of Jack and Jenn's house…Jenn and Brandon visit the gym, and Shawn tells Belle about Jan. This show is a sharp contrast from some of the last few…showing just how the veteran performers make a HUGE difference.
: All About Sami
: Sami is up fixing breakfast for Austin and Will. Austin comes out all dressed up, ready for work. They both apologize to each other for their behavior the night before. She informs Austin that they are getting married in less than a week (anyone wanna take bets on that one?). Austin leaves for work without even eating. Will rushes in all excited and informs his mother that he is NOT going to school today and wants to go and see his daddy. She tries to convince him to go to school, but he refuses. Over at Austin's apartment, Kate is asleep on the sofa as Nurse Jane tends to Lucas. He wakes up and looks at Kate as she hovers over him. Jane leaves to run some errands, but first stops over at Sami's and rails her out for her behavior. She informs her that Lucas NEEDS Will. She pleads with her to let Will go and see him, saying it is for the best. Sami starts in on her when Will comes over, claiming to be finished with breakfast and is now ready to go and see his daddy. Lucas asks Kate where he is and she fills him in. She asks if he remembers Will visiting and he begins to ask for him. Kate is sure that Will is the key for Lucas' recovery. Sami brings Will over (who runs and jumps in the bed with Lucas, who is thrilled). Sami (NOT a happy camper) and Kate watch on. Will cuddles with Lucas and kisses him (AWWW) as Kate rubs it in to Sami, telling her how Lucas and Will's love is unbreakable…but hers and Austin's is "unmakeable". To keep from fighting in front of Will, the go to Sami's apartment and get into it. Kate cannot believe that Austin is going to marry her and says that Austin has sunk to the ultimate low. Sami goes to throw her out and (it looks like) Kate trips her, with Sami sprawling to the floor. Kate laughs and says she is right where she belongs…at her feet. Kate tells her that she blames everyone for her problems, but she is her own worst enemy. She tells her that she will get her just rewards…and will lose everything…including Austin and Will. As she leaves, Sami slams the door on her. Kate returns to Austin's apartment to find Will jumping up and down on the bed and Lucas smiling. She hugs Will and tells him that he can come over anytime he wants and stay for as long as he wants…his mommy would want it that way. Sami fumes in her apartment as she goes to her closet and pulls out a bag (her blackmail material). She picks up the phone and calls and asks for Victor Kiriakis.

: Austin goes to work and tells Nicole about Lucas being back in town
and that he is improving. He doesn't get the reaction he was looking for, with
her actually seeming happy for Lucas. She tells him that she is okay with it and
asks how would he (or rather Sami) feel about Carrie returning to Salem (There
they go again…talking about Carrie…Hmmmm). Nicole notices that Austin has on
mis-matched socks (LOL) and explains about staying at Sami's with Kate and Lucas
at his place and she is like oh, goody…Mommy too! She asks if Sami has
physically attacked anyone yet. (ROFL). He tells her that he will need a couple
days off…to go and get married. She is shocked over this as Austin tries to
justify it. Nicole thinks that he is making a huge mistake and that if anyone
deserves a happy ending, it is him. He tells her that she will get her happy
ending someday too.

: Jack, Janet, Chrissy & Larry (oops…I mean Jack, Jenn, Greta &
Brandon)
: Earlier, Brandon had called Nicole (from outside Jenn's) and told her he had a breakfast date with Jenn to go to the gym. Inside, Greta and Jenn talk about Jack's reaction to that sexy dress she had on. Greta thinks that Jenn is torturing Jack, but Jenn is still trying to convince Greta that Jack is NOT gay. They hush as he comes in and tells them that his ears were burning and they must have been talking about him. Brandon arrives and Jenn rushes to the door as Jack makes smartass remarks. Jack wastes no time in insulting Brandon before they leave. After they are gone, he rants over Jenn and Brandon. Greta gets upset because Jack is so obsessed over Jenn. She tells him that she feel that he is only using her to make Jenn jealous, but SHE (Greta) is the one who has ended up jealous. She rushes off in tears and he follows her. She explains that (basically) she is in love with him and knows that he doesn't want her. She says that she can't stay there any longer and is moving out. He tries to stop her and apologizes and says that she deserves better. She agrees that she does deserve better and storms out the front door. After she is gone, he is angry with himself for ever lying to her in the first place and hopes he can make it up to her...somehow…someday.

: At the gym, Brandon and Jenn are preparing to work out and he offers
to help her. They start off with pushups. (LOL…she does about 4 before she says
her arms are shaky). She picks up 2 dumbells (almost dropping them) as he helps
her. (Sorry, folks, but these 2 do absolutely NOTHING for me). Later they are
doing crunches and she says she will pay for this tomorrow. She goes to take a
break and runs into one of Abby's friend's mother. She notices Brandon and
assumes he is Jenn's trainer. Jenn lets her think this, which hurts Brandon. She
claims that she just doesn't want everyone to know her business and calls him
her "boyfriend" which gives Brandon hope.

: At Salem High…
: Shawn runs into Chloe, as he is looking for Belle. We see Belle and Mimi together as Belle talks about what happened over at Jan's house. Belle anxiously wants to know what is going on. Philip and Chloe talk and he hands her a beautiful red & white rose (he calls it "fire and ice"). Mimi and Belle watch them and Belle notes that they look so happy as Mimi mentions Cynthia and the video. Chloe and Philip talk as he leans over and kisses her. He begins to apologize again and promises to never hurt her again. She asks if she is willing to try again, but she makes no promises. After talking awhile, they kiss again, leaving Mimi to wonder what will happen when Cynthia sees them.

: Mimi encourages Belle to go find Shawn and find out what is going on
with Jan. Shawn is worried about talking with Belle (note the poster in the
background for a St. Patrick's Day dance). He hates the thought of telling her
as he has flashbacks of telling Jan he will claim to be the father. Belle finds
him on the phone (calling for Jan, I think). She wants to know what is going on
and about his mom calling her for Jan's number. She also tells him about her and
Philip going over to Jan's and what happened with her mother. She talks about
what damage keeping secrets can do and demands to know what is going on…NOW.
Shawn has flashbacks as he begins his explanation. He tells her that he is
trying to do the right thing for everyone and believes that he is. He truly
loves her and never wants her to forget that. He feels that they were meant to
be together but is afraid that after what he tells her, she will never forgive
him. Belle is getting more and more upset as he says if she can't forgive him,
he will understand. Then he just blurts out "Jan is pregnant". Belle thinks that
she misunderstood, but then starts crying. Shawn starts crying as well as he
tells her, "this hurts me to tell you, but I am the father of this baby. "
Belle, continuing to cry, looks devastated…as the credits roll.
