Episode #:  9215
Tape Date:  12/06/01
Director:  Randy Robbins

Wonder when all of Salem's residents found time to take down all the Holiday decorations....  lol!  The Carvers and Bradys are still dealing with the court orders, Brandon socks it to Sami, and Arianne Zuker is outstanding as Nicole confronts her mother Fay.

AT SALEM HOSPITAL
Meow, Meow......  Sami has changed clothes and returned to work, thanking Larry for covering for her, as her lunch break went all the way to dinner, and then asking Larry if he knows if Brandon is in.Larry hasn't seen him, and Sami makes a crack about Brandon maybe having had a date, and she wishes he would just dump Jennifer and move on....  as Brandon comes up behind her...  and orders her into his office...  NOW!  He proceeds to ream her out (about time) for gossiping about him, is sorry he ever told her anything about himself or his family, and is realizing that she is just as selfish and manipulative as everyone told him.  He talks about her flashing her ring constantly (oh, how true) and tells her she is not the first person to ever be engaged.  (Guess he doesn't know it took her 8 years to get that ring, Ha).  He is sick of her game playing with him, and doesn't want to be friends any more.  At first Sami plays her innocent "who, me" schtick....but then the tears flow, she apologizes, admits she selfishly liked Brandon's attention focused on her, even though she was engaged, promising to change.  They call a truce, with her even inviting him to her wedding (gag me) whereupon Sami immediately asks him if Nicole is seeing anyone.  (Is this gal transparent, or what).   She mentions Nik's relationship with Victor....which Brandon assures her is strictly business (Oh, Brandon, open your eyes!)  He tells Sami what Nik does is none of his business and none of hers, to which Sami says....  as long as she stays away from Austin.  She leaves and Brandon says aloud that Sami better not mess with Nicole.

AT DIMANSION.......
Lexie is playing with Isaac on the floor, as Roman arrives.  Abe lets him in, and Roman, very gently, lets them know about Cameron Reese's court order for a DNA sample of JT within 48 hours.  He explains about Glen and the possibility of a baby switch at the hospital.  (The Carvers never mention they already have had papers served on them and their passports confiscated).  Lexie begins her standard rant....  how the Bradys should refuse, how terrible this is of Glen, it is impossible for a switch to have occurred.  She begins to really go on a rampage, refusing to accept what Roman is telling her.....  and eventually orders him to leave.  Abe is appalled, apologizes to Roman.  Roman tries to explain
that he wanted them to hear this from a friend, but Lexie is out of control.  He leaves, and furious Abe asks Lexie
how she could do that to such a good friend, who has stood by him, and backed him up when no one else would.
Lexie says Isaac is hers, and no one will take him.

AT THE WALKER HOME....
Nicole arrives at her mother's, saying that she still cannot believe her father is gone.  Fay immediately pulls her into a hug,
going on about how she cries herself to sleep every night, thinking about him.  The expression on Nik's face changes, as she asks how Fay can say that when he was so mean.  Fay tells her that Paul was abused as a child
(used to be locked in the closet), and that was why he was the way he was.  Nik says...  but he beat you, too...  however Fay insists she really was not hurt that much (Egad, this woman is in so much denial!), and that Paul was smart....  Nik reminds her Paul could not even read his own rap sheet (LOL).  When Fay talks about the kind and good father he was, Nik is visibly getting more and more upset....  she pulls the porno video (Locker Room Lolita) from her purse, and shows it to Fay, who is taken aback, but cannot believe Paul would have encouraged her to do that.  Ah, but Nik has more.....  she pulls out the coup de grace'.....  the tape Eric got her of the behind the scenes.  Though Fay is reluctant, Nicole is insistant her mother watch....and we see young Nik crying that she doesn't want to do this, and Paul whipping out the hypodermic to give her something to help her.  Fay is horrified, but Nicole is relentless.  She accuses Fay of not protecting her, saying she had to know something was going on.  Fay denies this, both are in tears.  Nik snarls at Fay that tonight SHE will have to live with this image of what Nicole had to endure burned into her memory, just as Nicole has all these years.  She grabs the tape, saying that instead of being happy during her young teens, she had to live with THIS....holding up the tape.  She leaves Fay crushed, and in tears and outside, she cries.  (Powerful performances here)

AT THE BRADY HOUSE...
Hope hugs JT, saying John's test was done, and no one is taking JT away from them.  She talks about the time JT said his first word, and we see the flashback of JT saying Dada (that kid is SOOO cute).  John wonders to Marlena how Glen's DNA test could have come back positive.  He and Marlena worry about telling the kids.  Hope insistantly repeats JT is her son.
Mickey arrives, and they show him the court order, which he says is standard.  They mention stalling the DNA test, but Mickey says that would be fruitless.  John then asks what would be the next step after the test (gee, Mickey never asks why John keeps saying "we, us, our").  Mickey tells them, that obviously, by asking for the DNA testing, Glen is going to probably sue for custody.  All four looked shocked.

Marlena says first thing they must do is tell the children.  John agrees, but adds "what do we tell them first.....that Glen wants to take away JT, or that JT is my son".  Cue Mickey to now look very shocked....  asking him if he means he is father of Hope's baby...  to which John replies in the affirmative.

Marlena says that "as difficult as that seems to accept, it will be more difficult for Shawn and Belle".
The camera moves to Hope's unhappy face.....  and the credits roll.

Episode #:  9216
Tape Date:  12/07/01
Director:  Phil Sogard

A few heart to heart talks (Abe/Fay, Brandon/Sami, Austin/Nicole
as the Brady's and Black's bring Mickey up to speed on the situation.

SAMI, SAMI, SAMI
After a long day at work, Brandon's finally gets off duty.  He gives little Jimmy's file to a nurse with instructions
as Sami barrels in out of breath.  She has a little present for Brandon for staying her friend, a "peace" offering.  It's a new Miles Davis CD that was a live recording back in the 60's.  She asks if he's off work
and invites him to the Blue Note.  He asks about Will (who she says is at the pub with her grandparents) and Austin.
She tells him she's Austin's fianc?e, not his prisoner (we all know Austin's working and kicked her out, haha).
She's jealous of Brandon's liking his job, hers just pays the rent (quite a come down for an ex-exec at Titan to a receptionist
at the hospital..  wonder if step-daddy John will give her a job at Basic Black and she'll be a competitor to her husband
along with his mother, haha).  He suggests she find a new profession and she informs him she found one, Mrs. Austin Reed.

After finding a dark table at the Blue Note, Brandon reminds Sami that his personal life is still off limits.  She can't stop interfering and sharing her thoughts about him and Jennifer.  She wants him to be as happy as she is.  She apologizes again, but can tell he's upset with her again.  He tells her that since she's gotten engaged to Austin, she's not the same old Samantha and more of a suburban matron (she feels he's calling her a phony).  She tells him that's not so and pulls him up to dance with her.  As they dance VERY closely (let's call it hugging while shuffling), he teases her he foresees her having five kids and a maxed out credit card, LOL.  When the music ends she's obviously a little breathless from the closeness with him
as Brandon goes to get them something to drink.  Another patron named Scott walks over and compliments her dancing
with her boyfriend (takes a lot to hug and shuffle ya know) and she tells him he (Brandon) isn't her boyfriend.
An encouraged Scott compliments Sami's beauty and asks to join her.  Sami says sure, but Brandon intervenes and asks if Austin would appreciate that while he's off working his fingers to the bone (nah, he's too busy making friends with Nicole).
Loving being the center of attention, Sami tells Scott how he'd be perfect for Nicole Walker.  Sorry, he's been burnt by Nicole already and leaves.  Brandon has Sami pegged knowing she's trying to keep Nicole away from Austin.  They both have different views of Nicole and her relationship with Austin.

A SOFT SHOULDER AT TITAN
After the emotional encounter with her mom, Nicole goes to her office and sits in the dark, clearly shaken by what happened.  Austin finds her in the dark.  She asks if Sami objects to his working late.  He steps away for coffee for both of them which she appreciates until he starts pointing out her good points.  He refers to her as Nicky and she tells him that Brandon's the only one who can use that nickname for her.  He tells her he likes Nicole, but doesn't Nicky get lonely at times and need to kick back.  He loves to work, but enjoys playing with Will too.  He starts to leave when she won't talk about herself and she tells him about seeing her mother earlier.  He returns and when he refers to her as Nicky again, she reminds him only Brandon calls her that.  Austin knows he could never take Brandon's place.  He's been in the ring with that guy and knows she's in good hands with Brandon watching out for her.  Austin asks her to consider him a friend then.  She smiles a genuine smile (hey, she should do that more often) in response.  He hopes she finds someone to share the love with like he does with Sami (oh paleez).  She sincerely gives Austin her blessing and hopes he's happy.  He feels her worst times are behind her and good times are ahead.  He leaves, calling her Nicky, this time without her objecting, as she thanks him after he leaves and
hopes he's right.

POOR ABE
Roman finds a distraught Abe out in the cold.  Abe apologizes for Lexie's behavior earlier and Roman understands
(I don't!) about how Lexie's love for Isaac was the cause of it, not him.  He pats Abe's arm and tells him to take care of himself.  Later Fay finds him just sitting in his car in front of the diner.  She invites him in for something to eat.  Abe flashes back to their bringing Isaac home to his nursery that Celeste (where IS she?) decorated.  He knows there's nothing he can do
about the situation.  She joins him in the car instead as he pours his heart out about the situation.  Having a sympathetic ear
means a lot to him as she starts crying and he asks how she's doing.  She tells him what she found out about what Paul had done to Nicole and blames herself.  He asks when her shift starts and she tells him 15 minutes.  He wants her to stay warm in the car and goes in the diner to get coffee for them so they can talk until she has to go to work.  Later, sipping cups of coffee (real mugs...can't believe the owner let Abe take them out of the restaurant), Abe promises to always be honest and open with her (too bad Lexie can't say the same to you Abe).  She asks if he really loved her when they were together.  He tells her he did and she tells him she felt the same.  He tells her to forgive herself for what she just found out about Nicole and she can't do it.  She should have protected her kids from Paul.  Abe reminds her how her three children have done so well for themselves and she should be proud of them and take some credit as well. He mentions her youngest is about to graduate from college (aha, will Taylor be back in Salem now?).  She thanks him and heads off to the diner (hey, where are those mugs?).

BRADY HOME
Marlena explains to Mickey about John being JT's biological father.  Bo tells Mickey as their lawyer, they want him to keep
what he just learned quiet.  Hope pleads her case about not caring what's underneath the microscope.  They loved, raised and
fought for JT and that makes him their son (hmmm, Lexie's saying the same thing about Isaac, Hope).  Hope wants to flee out of the room, but Bo stops her and tells her running won't do anything as he pulls her into his arms to comfort her.  They worry about what could happen and she pleads with him to promise not to let anyone take JT away from them.
A silent Bo just hugs her.  Marlena assures them no matter what the DNA test results are, they're all going to fight for JT
as Mickey goes to make arrangements.  Marlena tells Hope to focus on the present for now.

Roman returns and tells them about his encounter with Abe and Lexie and how Lexie reacted about the baby switch scenario.
Hope doesn't blame Lexie and tells Mickey to sell the house if he needs to, but get rid of Glen and dashes upstairs.
Roman apologizes to Bo for upsetting Hope.  Bo tells him he understands it's out of his hands as Roman tells Bo not to worry about coming to work tomorrow, he'll cover for him.  Bo goes up to be with Hope
as Mickey asks John to talk with some investigators with him.  John agrees and they go to the kitchen to use the phone there.
Roman sits with Marlena and asks if Sami or Belle know yet.  She tells him not yet.  Mickey and John return and the foursome discuss what could happen if the DNA test shows Glen is JT's biological father.  Marlena asks what if Isaac is proven to be Hope's son and they all worry about if there really is that possibility and what it could mean.

Bo finds Hope crying on their bed.  He checked and JT's asleep and comforts Hope.  She just wants to take JT and run away.  Bo wonders why Stefano would do what he did and hurt his own daughter.  Hope pleads with Bo to help them find a way for all of this to all just go away (with new head writers, hopefully Hope will get her wish granted ;-) and isn't sure
if she can do the DNA test now.  She tells Bo he's her hero and saved her life so many times.  They need him now and she has faith he can keep them from taking their son as she cries on his shoulder...

Episode #:  9217
Tape Date:  12/10/01
Director:  Roger Inman

Heartbreaking confrontations as the Blacks tell Belle, the Riebers
visit the Bradys, and arguments break out over breakfast at the K Mansion.

AT THE KIRIAKIS'S.....
Victor, Nicole and Philip are eating breakfast, as Nicole tries to explain to Victor what happened with Carl Liszt.
Philip keeps rudely interrupting with "pass the toast", "nothing like fresh O.J.", etc.  As Nicole continues, and
mentions Austin coming by in a few minutes, Victor tells her to conduct business at Titan, not at the house.  Austin arrives,
but Nik quickly pulls him out of the room, saying there is a change of plans.  Out in the hall, Austin insistently wants to know what is going on, and tho Nik is puzzled at Vic's attitude, she suddenly blames it all on Kate.  Austin attempts to defend her,
but Nik is confident Kate has some plan to get back into the house, and regain her place at Titan.  She and Austin argue about her theory, and she tells him to open his eyes.  That he doesn't hear her saying her mother is all sweet and nice, etc.
Austin says he came to work, he'll see her at the office and leaves.  Forgot to mention Nicole is wearing her usual office attire,
a black skirt just below her butt, and boots.  LOL....Inside the dining room, Victor and Philip have harsh words
for each other.  Philip lights into Victor about Nicole and her living arrangments there, mentioning he knows what is going on
is not all business, as he certainly knows whose bedroom Nik is tiptoeing into at night...and it is not his or Henderson's (rotfl!)
He mentions Vic being old enough to be her grandfather, how all the kids at school talk about it.  Victor doesn't like the idea of that sort of gossip (Hey Vic, what did you expect?)  At first Vic just says Chloe is nice to Philip cause she cares about Phil,
but Philip will have none of it.  He really goes on about Nicole's agenda, using Victor as her stepping stone to power and money, etc.  He apologizes for calling Victor a fool, but continues on about Nicole in their home.  Victor knows where this is coming from, and tells him to understand once and for all that KATE is NOT moving back in, they are NOT going to remarry (hmmm, did not think they were ever married) and that is final.  Philip rants about needing his mother, especially since other things in his life are not going well (meaning Chloe) and accuses his father of choosing Nicole over his own son.  He finally storms out saying that if Nicole doesn't move out, maybe he just will.  As he goes out the door, he runs into Austin, who says Hi, how's it going. Philip pushes past him, angrily saying, "he has his blond bimbo and you have your blond bimbo, and they both are making life hell for MY mother" (really ROTFL!) as Austin looks wide eyed and puzzled.  Inside Victor yells for Nicole, and when she comes in, tells her he wants to talk to her about her living arrangements.  "Make other ones!", Victor orders.  Cue Nicole to look shocked.

AT THE PENTHOUSE.....
John, Marlena and Brady are in the living room, all looking solemn, as Brady calls for Belle to come downstairs.
She comes running down the stairs, all bubbly and breathless, with something she wants to talk to them about.  Though she is told they have something important to tell her, she goes first, and begins to babble about all of them moving to Malibu,
so she can go to Pepperdyne U.  Brady asks if Shawn talked about going to Calif, and she brightly says,
well he might have mentioned wanting to study Marine Biology there.  She goes on and on, finally getting a clue when the serious faces just do not change.  She asks what is going on.  John and Marlena, very gently remind her of the times Stefano made John into another person...  and Hope, too.  Belle says yes, when she was Princess Gina.  As John tries to explain how, there was another time, more recently, when Stef again took control of him, we see him remembering Hope/Gina in the park...  and then are treated to an entire flashback of the subsex episode (after all, we have not seen this a zillion times, and DO need to be reminded - NOT).  John says Hope also was being controlled....  and finally breaks the news
that he is the father of Hope's baby.  Belle cannot believe this...... and Marlena explains how somehow, at the party,
Hope finally remembered it all, and John verifies how he, too, remembered it.  Belle is very distressed, and Brady tells her
how great Marlena has been (Marlena seems surprised to hear him, but is pleased) and accepting.  She asks if Shawn knows, but Marlena says that since she already talked to Shawn and he is at school,
probably not.  Brady tells her Chloe does know, and explains how she overheard at the party.

John assures her Marlena is the most important person in his life, and his best friend.  He says he loves all of them,
and that will never change.  Belle cannot cope, and picks up her backpack to leave, refusing to stay and talk any more.  She tells John that she believes if you truly love someone, there is something way down deep, that should prevent you from betraying that person, no matter what.

AT THE BRADY HOME....
Hope is holding JT, wondering where Shawn is, but Bo says he left.  Hope is concerned they have not told him, but Bo says why not wait until they know more.  As they talk about the problem, a knock at door reveals Glen and Barb on the doorstep.  Hope panics and takes JT upstairs, as Bo opens the door.  Glen tells him they want to discuss the situation,
w/o lawyers and courts and everything.  Hope comes down, they look at each other, and finally ask the Riebers to come in.
Glen and Barb talk about JT, and how he only wants his son to know he did not abandon him.  Hope insists that JT is HER son, and Glen shows her a copy of the DNA results on the paternity test he had done on JT.  Barb reminds them how they brought JT right back when they realized he wasn't Isaac.  They know how sick JT has been, that it was Marlo's fault, and Glen thanks Bo and Hope for taking such good care of him.  Barb tells them that Glen is a good man, hardworking, honest, caring, doesn't do drugs, etc.  Glen mentions wanting to spend some time with JT, and Bo says NO WAY.  That they may have to submit to DNA testing, but nothing has been said nor is going to happen with any kind of visiting.  Hope finally blows up, talking about how their love has saved JT, their nurturing has brought him a long way.  She orders them to leave her house, NOW!  After they are gone, she turns to BO, pleading with him to tell her he is going to protect their son.  Bo wraps his arms around her, comforting her AND the credits roll.

Episode #:  9218
Tape Date:  12/10/01
Director:  Phil Sogard

Best friends are either supportive or arguing,
Jen visits with Hope and Rolf and Lexie try to enlist help in their camp.

SALEM HIGH
Belle's avoiding Shawn and Philip picks up on that.  She denies it, but while trying to pretend everything's okay, breaks down.
Philip wants to know if Shawn hurt her and she tells him no.  Confusing Philip, she goes on about how people should appreciate what they've got.  She admits something's wrong, but not it's not Shawn, something at home.  He can relate as he lost his home, family and girlfriend all in the same year.  Belle tells him there's nothing that can be done for her problem, but she can talk to Chloe about him.  Philip doesn't give her much hope and the two tell each other they love each other and
are there to help each other out.

Shawn and Chloe talk alone in the classroom.  She asks how things are going for him at home and then tells him
she's avoiding Philip.  He rattles on about his affectionate family and apologizes, knowing she doesn't have one.  He goes on
about his little brother and how much he means to him.  He tells Chloe about going to college in Malibu with Belle and
how everything is so perfect.  She wonders if she'd like living in Malibu and Shawn asks about her music future.
They talk about Philip and her both being confused about their relationship.  Shawn says either make up or break up, choose one.  Chloe keeps bringing up Brady's name and Shawn asks why she doesn't just date him.  Jan walks in and asks to speak with Shawn privately.  He tells Jan he and Chloe were talking, can it wait..but Chloe excuses herself and says it's alright.  Jan tells Shawn she thinks she's pregnant.

Chloe walks out in the hallway and sees Philip and Belle with hands on each other's hips and walks away.  Belle had seen her and tells her she was looking for her.  Philip stops Belle from going after Chloe, thanking her for the thought,
but tells her to just leave it alone and go look for Shawn.

COP SHOP
Bo comes to work and talks with Roman.  He tells Roman he came to work as he has a wife and two kids to feed (for now anyway he says).  He sees Abe in the outer office and knows losing JT would tear Hope apart.  He admits he would do the same damn thing as Glen if the situation were reversed.  There's an article about Cameron Reese in the paper and Bo tosses it
on the desk.  Roman comments that she's no pin up girl, she's too mean.  Bo would like to blow up her picture and use it for his dart board (LOL) and take aim.  Both agree she's a shark.  Abe joins them in his office and wants to talk.  Bo doesn't want to (hey, it's HIS office, haha), but Abe explains it's the kids futures they need to worry about. Roman suggests they wait until the DNA tests are back before doing/saying anymore.  Bo asks Abe if he's covering for Lexie and tells him about his conversation with the nurses on duty that night.  He figures Lexie knew about the switch from the beginning.  Roman acts as referee as Bo tells Abe he's acting brain dead about some of the circumstances involving Isaac's adoption.  Bo starts with Marlo and Abe's concern about her being a drunk...i.e. Isaac is a perfectly healthy and JT has FAS.  He reminds Abe
about Lexie's behavior the last few months with moving into the mansion and how strange she's been acting..  like a DiMera.
There's one word to describe how she's been acting lately...  GUILTY.  (how can Abe deny that?) Bo's sure their baby's were switched and she knew it.  Poor Abe sits in a chair to absorb this.  Roman tells him he's going to have to face up to it,
Lexie must have known.  Abe, close to tears, tells them Lexie's a good woman and loves Hope.  Roman reminds him
that Lexie doesn't love Hope as much as she loves Isaac (BINGO).  Bo admits if the baby's were switched, their heart will break too if they have to lose JT.  If that's the case, Abe will be involved.  Smart Abe asks if that means if JT is taken from them, would they want to take Isaac from them? (well duh)

Roman asks Abe to put himself in Bo's shoes...  wouldn't he do the same thing?  Abe bites back with comments about Roman's past with Marlena and then tells Roman about how John is the father of Hope's baby, much to Bo's chagrin.  Roman can't believe this (wonder how long it'll take for him to rush over and comfort Doc in lieu of this news).

COUSINS
Jen rushes over to be with Hope.  Hope starts to cry as her cousin is there for her.  As Hope looks at the paper with the story in it, Jen makes coffee and admits Bo called her.  She explains to Hope how necessary it is they do the DNA test as ordered.
Hope tearfully tells Jen how she and Bo have bonded with JT after almost two years of having him.  When she mentions the possibility of a baby switch, Jen realizes Hope's mind is open to that possibility.

Hope remembers previous incidents where Lexie's acted strangely.  She tells Jen about the time she went to pick up Isaac in the pub and Lexie told her not to touch him.  How long has Lexie known?  She's her best friend, but...  even Abe was suspicious about the night of the party.  Hmmmm

Hope hears something and rushes upstairs.  She returns with JT saying he was having a hard time breathing as he's coming down with a cold.  Jen's in awe as there wasn't even a baby monitor in the room.  Jen agrees, Hope can't give up JT.

STRATEGY PLANNING AT DiMANSION
Lexie continues to spew anger, this time at Rolf, about their plan not working.  He has a guaranteed plan if she'll
let him do whatever he needs to.  He tells her if she doesn't do this, she might as well plunge a knife in her heart as she won't want to live without her son (good grief Rolf!).  Of course she agrees.  She just wants to make sure SHE can live HER life without fear of being threatened or being held responsible.  Rolf has someone on the way that will take care of everything for them.  Ding Dong..any guesses?  Cameron Reese is at the door.  He verifies it's MISS Reese and Cameron laughingly asks Rolf where he's from and mocks his accent.  Cameron asks Lexie why she didn't adopt a black child and spouts off about how the Brady's are going to be short a child and coming for their own soon.  She tells them to stay out of her way and starts to leave.  Rolf asks Cameron about her real identity and how well she's covered her tracks, but HE knows the truth.  He tells her to sit down and will tell her what she's going to do to keep him from exposing her as he and Lexie exchange smirks.
Cameron isn't happy about her past, but it's not relevant here.  Eliana brings in tea and scones, both of which Cameron refuses
(I wouldn't trust them either) and calls Lexie and Rolf NUTS as they rave over the tea and scones.  Rolf blocks her leaving and shows her a briefcase of $50,000 in unmarked bills.  He also offers her protection if her past was found out and
possibly disbarred.  This is merely a downpayment for future $$ if she helps them.  Cameron smells and flicks through the wad of bills...contemplating what to do.  She sits down and sips some tea and bites a scone.  She tells them she knows whatever they want from her is BIG, but before she even knows what it is, she has to know if she can trust THEM and leaves.
Rolf assures a frustrated Lexie that Cameron will take the bait as the credits start...

Episode #:  9219
Tape Date:  12/12/01
Director:  Herb Stein

Talks continue with Jen and Hope, Shawn and Jan, and Salem's
top cops.  Sami has a surprise for Austin while Marlena and Belle talk.

MEET AUDREY, THE WEDDING PLANNER
Sami calls Austin to rush over and has a surprise for him It's Audrey, Salem's best wedding coordinator.
She gushes over Austin's manners and body as she whips out pictures of sample wedding outfits.  She also shows
how they do a complete digital video of the wedding in a dvd format.  Sami is bursting with excitement as Austin's a little shell shocked, LOL!  (hope that ring didn't wipe out your budget, cuz this wedding will finish off the rest, haha)  Audrey composed a computerized video demo of their perfect wedding that she made from notes from Sami as to what she wanted.  We don't see it, but after it's over, Sami raves over the white horse drawn bridal carriage.  Austin thought the 200 turtle doves being set free in the air a bit much, as was the life size ice sculpture of them kissing!!  Sami loves it, just like a movie.  Austin finally loses it when Audrey talks about their honeymoon video, kicks her out...  books, videos and all.  He asks her to send a bill for her time so far and slams the door on her, haha.  He asks Sami if she's mad, but she's not.  She didn't like Audrey coming on to her man anyway, admitting she was a little pushy, and mentions cement shoes.  Austin asks Sami to what lengths she'd go to to have him.  After being quiet for 20 minutes, he reminds her of all her past deeds.  She brings up Carrie and how Carrie was the one who lost out by leaving Austin and going with Mike.  Austin tells her he thinks she's (Sami's) changed in many ways...
he wouldn't be marrying her otherwise.  He makes a deal with her.  He'll cooperate with the wedding plans if she never deals
with Audrey again.  She wants a wedding that Salem will never forget, but he has one request.  He wants this to be a family wedding and for her to include her mother and sister (Belle) in the arrangements.  Sami hugs him and is happy to oblige.

MARLENA AND BELLE
Marlena's home from work (on a break) when Belle comes home from school.  She wants a woman to woman talk to Belle.  Belle breaks down in her mother's arms as she tells her mom she can't stop picturing her dad in bed with Hope Brady and wonders how she'll be able to face Shawn again.  Belle doesn't understand and Marlena explains she was angry and it took time for her to sort through it all.  She explains how she and John are still in love and always will be.  Their love is real and she trusts it.  Belle doesn't want to be in love if this is what it's like.  Marlena assures Belle her anger will subside and things will be more in perspective over time.  Belle can't believe Stefano's brainwashing overrode her father's love for her mom.  Belle wants an honest answer from her mom about something.  She asks if there's anything else they're not telling her.
Marlena asks what and Belle asks if she and her dad are getting a divorce.  Marlena pleads with her daughter not to give up on love or her family.  She tells her mom how she couldn't even face Shawn today.  Yesterday they were talking about their future but everything's changed now.  She tells her mom it feels "icky" now to date Shawn under the circumstances.  He probably won't want to see her ever again when he knows.  They share a brother and it's almost like they're related themselves.  Maybe this is a sign they shouldn't be together.  Belle heads upstairs to be alone.  Marlena wants to talk more, but Belle figures there's nothing else left to say.  Marlena tells herself that after all her years of training as a therapist and mother, she doesn't know how to make this work for Belle.

JAN'S CONFESSION
A repeat of Jan telling Shawn she thinks she's pregnant and needs his help.  She tells him to keep it a secret and
he can't promise that.  She needs to see a doctor outside of Salem. She took a home pregnancy test and it came out positive.
(hey, give your baby to the Carvers...  then Abe can be a father to Brandon and Nicole's brother or sister...  hmmm...  never mind...too complicated, ha!)  She needs money for an abortion.
They argue over the issue and he wants her to talk to her parents about it.  She tells him they hate her already and
can never know.  She needs Shawn to drive her to Chicago for an abortion.  She gets a call from her mom on her cellphone and has to rush to meet her somewhere.

SALEM PD LOUNGE, i.e. Abe's office
Roman wants answers about the John and Hope scenario.  Bo explains how it was under the Stefano influence and wonders how much and how long Abe and Lexie have been aware of it.  Abe doesn't like Bo's interrogation technique and refuses to answer.  Bo asks as a friend and Abe's tells him how Lexie overheard Marlena and Hope talking about it a few months ago. They ask when Bo found out and he told them about what he saw at Lexie's party (Hope and John kissing) and understands now what had happened.  Roman, however, is furious with John and asks if Marlena knows and still "standing by her man"...  as she deserves much better.  He warns Bo that John and Marlena had a baby together and it ruined his marriage to her, don't let history repeat itself with him and Hope now.  Bo believes Hope's explanation about what happened, but he also knows that Lexie was up to something that night.  Abe defends Lexie, saying she loves Hope like a sister...(oh, she must be Auntie Lexie to Hope's son then, not mama).  Roman continues on his bandwagon about how John and Hope will be bonded for life by sharing a child together.  Bo finally leaves, to find Shawn, to tell him before someone else does.  Abe and Roman talk after Bo leaves about all the people that are going to be hurt by this.  He figures that Bo's in denial about John and Hope and in for big time hurt.

HOPE AND JEN
The two cousins continue their talk.  Jen assures Hope that Shawn is a good kid and will realize they were under Stefano's control at the time.  Hope explains how Glen and Barb came to visit and showed them the test results.  Jen hopes that Glen and Barb will care about the baby's best interest and leave him with Bo and Hope. Hope remembers how Glen seemed to be genuinely concerned about his son and figures it's worth a try to talk to him about it. The two move from coffee to tea as they discuss if Glen would go along with them raising JT.  Jen figures if they involve Glen in JT's life and when he's old enough, tell him the truth.  Hope's encouraged with that idea.  While gazing at a picture of Shawn and JT, she tells Jen how wonderful Shawn is with JT.  What's going to happen when he learns the truth?  Bo calls...he's on his way home and feels they should tell Shawn the truth, ASAP.  Jen tells Hope to keep the positive attitude that Glen will do the right thing and remember Gran's favorite saying, which they say together, love always wins in the end.

Shawn comes home, looking tired.  Hope tells him she wants to talk to him.  Bo arrives next and tells them they need to talk as a family.  Jen takes her cue and leaves.  Shawn panics a little and wants to know what's going on...as the credits roll...
