SUMMARY:
A new day dawns at last in Salem as the Blacks pay a visit to the Bradys, Nicole shows Victor what he is missing, plus Sami & Kate go at it once more. (Remember...yesterday the Bradys went to court, Hope sewed labels, the teens went to school, skating afterwards, Shawn drove Jan to Chicago and then back again, John took DNA from Isaac and got results, Will got Lucas to talk, and it was a very late nite at dot.com.....whewww!)

BREAKFAST W/THE KIRIAKIS FAMILY......Philip is getting dressed, as the phone rings. He hopes it is Chloe, but Kate is calling to give him the news about Lucas speaking. Philip is very happy, and informs Kate that Nicole has moved out, which thrills her. She asks to speak to Victor. Downstairs, Vic is eating breakfast when in walks Nik wrapped in a long fur coat. She got in with her keys (she is returning them) and drops the coat to reveal spandex shorts and bra top....(tho her hairdo leaves a great deal to be desired). Vic smiles appreciatively, and when Philip walks in, she is demurely sipping coffee at the table, & Victor says they are having a business meeting. Phil tell Victor he has a phone call, and after his dad leaves the room, asks Nik if this is the latest thing in office attire. She says she was on way to the gym, since she cannot use the workout room in the mansion any longer, but Phil reminds her it is on other side of town.

On the phone, Kate tells Victor the good news about Lucas, then asks his advice on helping Austin. Victor declines to help her plot, whatever it is...and we do not hear whatever the rest of the conversation is about. (Guess Phil was in such a hurry to tell his dad about the phone, he forgot he had not yet washed his hair..needs it badly!) He & Nik argue a bit, Phil tells Nicole his mom is on the phone, and tells her Lucas is coming out of the coma. As they argue, Victor comes in, telling Philip emphatically that Kate is NOT moving back into the mansion. Phil angrily leaves.

Nicole tells Victor this would not have happened if he had not forced her to move out, cause Phil would not have gotten his hopes up. They argue about Kate worming her way back in....and Victor tells her she is turning into Kate herself. The same desire for money and power, and probably the only reason Nik ever cozied up to Victor in the first place. She puts on her coat, slams the keys down and stalks out, telling Philip at the door that Kate better not ever hurt Victor.

AT THE PENTHOUSE......Belle is remembering talking to Shawn about him & Jan hugging....and wondering what is going on. Upstairs John is showing Marlena a plastic baggie to aid her in getting a DNA sample from Hope. Marlena is worried but John says they have to do this now. They go downstairs, telling Belle they are going to the Bradys, and she asks to come along. (O.K. ....middle of winter and Belle is wearing a very pretty pink flowered blouse....very off the shoulder, and when she puts on her jacket, she has a pink boa around her neck!) They all leave, grabbing a huge, cellophane wrapped basket as they go out the door.

WAKE UP LUCAS.....Will is sitting on the bed, pleading with his daddy to wake up, and say his name again. Sami tells Will it is time to go, but Will refuses! Sami is shocked, but Will is adamant, telling Sami she cannot make him. She begins to pull him, and he yells, no, as he stuggles to stay on the bed. Austin steps in, calming Will down, and telling Sami to cool it. He promises Will HE will bring him back to see his daddy, and gets Will to kiss Lucas goodbye. Sami tells Austin to take Will to cafeteria (WHAT????) and she'll meet him there....then goes back to taunt Lucas. Kate overhears all out in the hall, comes in and the two of them have a most delicious verbal cat fight. Sami brings up Kate's abandoning her children to climb the corporate ladder by sleeping with all the married men in town, and threatens Lucas, even going over to put a pillow over his face, trying to smother him! Kate is back at her, telling her she will lose both Austin and Will all by herself, and how Austin already has seen Sami's vicious temper. Sami threatens to kill Lucas (c'mon Sami!!) and they verbally spar for some minutes. Kate sees Austin arrive behind Sami, and turns on the tears, begging Sami to leave her alone. LOL...Sami is furious and Austin drags her out of the room. Sami tells Austin to SHUT UP...as she shoves him away from her and rushes off down the hall.

THE BRADYS........Shawn answers the door to Belle, and tells her to come in. He tells her how much she means to him.....then tells her Jan is pregnant and he is the father. UH.....wait a sec. Shawn is sleeping on the sofa and wakes up startled. All a dream. He wonders how he can tell everyone.

Upstairs Bo wakes up to an empty bed...but Hope comes in all dressed and all smiles. JT is still asleep, but Shawn is not in his room. They talk about the upcoming visit from Glen today, the phone rings and it is John saying they are coming over. Bo tries to put him off, but John is insistent.

They go downstairs, and Shawn tries to tell his parents more about Jan, but John & Marlena arrive, as does Belle. They are offering their support, John wants to see his godson, JT, and the basket contains food, since Marlena says they probably won't want to cook. JT cries, Hope goes to get him and Marlena insists on coming along to help. They play w/JT on the bed, while getting him dressed, and Marlena says she wants to clean some spittle off her blouse, so gets into the bathroom. She pulls out a white plastic glove, puts it on and extracts a strand of Hope's hair from the brush, putting it into the plastic bag in her purse. She sprinkles a bit of water on her blouse (which is nearly gone when she comes out....lolol) and they both take JT downstairs.

John realizes she has succeeded, so says they want to give the family some time alone, and prepares to leave. Belle asks to stay for a while, so John & Marlena leave. Outside Marlena asks John why he did not tell them about his DNA results from Isaac, but John wants to wait until they know everything.

Inside, Hope worries that JT does not seem to be right, and is taking his temp, telling Bo no one is taking her son if he is sick. Shawn takes Belle outside,and they talk about JT. Belle says maybe they should just have kept on going with JT, while Shawn replies it is always worth anything to save a child. She wants him to tell her about Jan, which he promised to do....but he says not yet....he wants the two of them to spend the entire day together, and for her never to forget how much she means to him. Shawn tells her he loves her and she says she loves him, and thinks she always has. He says he does not know what he would do without her in his life....and she tells him she isn't going anywhere..

Over at the DNA lab, John is pacing as he & Marlena anxiously await the results of the test. Marlena is surprised they can get the results so quickly, but John says money talks! Marlena worries that if Hope is Isaac's biological mother, and Stefano the father, this nightmare will never be over. But John assures her that it WILL be over, for all of us. He takes his wife into his arms.......and the credits roll.

ON THE PLANE......Austin, Sami & Will are returning to Salem, and Will accused Sami of breaking her promise. She explains to "William" that no, she didn't, she promised him to stay one day, and that is what they said. He says he is sorry. (GMAB). The flight attendant comes by asking for beverage choices, and Will wants cookies. She gives him some choices, but he is silent, so offers to take him back to galley to see the cookies. (Boy, aren't Sami & Austin lucky, they find sitters anywhere and everywhere to watch Will for them). Sami tries to explain her actions w/Kate to Austin, but he does not want to get into this here and now. He asks her to at least try to get along and be civil with his mother. Sami says Kate is evil, but smiles enuf so they kiss. Will returns, Austin says he is happy Lucas is making such progress and the visit was so successful, but Sami says nothing is going to come between she and her son. SHE has full custody.

THE THREE'S COMPANY group are up to their silly antics once again. Abby comes down, in cute pigtails, and Jack tries to question her about what the "ladies of the house" are talking about upstairs. Smart Abby doesn't fall for this. Upstairs Jen & Greta are bedmaking, while talking of books and favorite authors. Greta admits loving mysteries and Agatha Christy being her favorite author (mine, too, Greta!) & how she's read every book 4 or 5 times. Jen tells her about P.D. James..then Greta gets serious about Jen knowing Jack's secret. Jen assures her, she did not tell, Jen guessed. They laughingly decide to go down to breakfast in pigtails themselves, and Jack, downstairs, can hear them laughing hysterically and wonders what's up. They troup downstairs w/Greta chasing Jen around the sofa (Jeez, this is so dumb) & she bumps into Jack. Abby sees all the gals with their hair like hers, so says those are not pigtails, they are antennas, and will aim at Jack turning him into goo, or something. She chases after him on his knees...lol....around the sofa, as do the gals, all pointing their pigtails. (Egads). Ah, the horn beeps, tis the carpool for Abby, and she is rushed off, backpack and all. Jen taunts Jack a bit about his "secret", as she & Greta pinky swear about being "girlfriends".

IN SAN DIEGO.....Kate talks to Lucas, encouraging him to open his eyes. Today he is propped up a bit, and wearing a dark shirt instead of the white gown. Kate begs him to do it for Will, and Lucas moves his lips, flutters eyelids a bit. Kate calls the nurse, all excited....but the nurse says no, he isn't there yet. (Bravo to Brian Datillo, who has to just lay there sooooo still, that has to be very difficult - bet he wanted to laugh yesterday at Kate & Sami!) Kate realizes what she must do, and asks the nurse to call the doctor in. If Will cannot come to Lucas, then she will bring Lucas to Will.....and intends to transfer Lucas to Salem today, right NOW!

IN DIMANSION...Lexie remembers John coming for the DNA sample, & is startled when Abe says her name. She barks at him, and he gets ticked off. She says she is just on edge...and he wants to know what is going on, she has changed so much....and tho claiming to be on edge....she won't take his advice, see a psychiatrist, counselor, etc. Wants to know what she is keeping from him. She tells him about John coming yesterday...and really pours it on, tears forming as she says she thought John would kill her and she would never see Abe again. Incensed, Abe call the station to put out an APB on John, but Lexie signals NO. They argue about Isaac, the possibility of Hope being his mother, and how Lexie will not allow anyone to take him.

AT THE LAB....John & Marlena anxiously await the test results of Hope's DNA. At last they arrive, and prove that Hope IS the biological mother of Isaac. They worry about Stefano probably being the father, since John is not. Marlena says there is no way to get a DNA sample from Stef to prove he is Isaac's father, but there may be a way to prove he is not. She gets an idea, and they go to the hospital, into the file room where all the records are kept. Marlena uses her keys to open the drawers, first checking Stefano's file, then Isaac's. She tells John they have to go and tell Hope right away.

AT THE BRADY HOME....Bo & Hope talk about the impending visit from Glen, and are anxious. Suddenly Hope has a flash of white, thru which she sees Bo's face. She gets a bit dizzy and sits down...Bo is clearly worried, but she seems o.k. and he goes to get her a cup of that ever curing, soothing, Salem tea. She has another white flash...like a white screen. Bo comes out and Hope tells him she is worried. It is like she is trying to remember something...but doesn't know what. The doorbell rings, and the Bradys are surprised to see John & Marlena arrive again. Bo starts to say this is not a good time....but they immediately tell Hope the news. Marlena tells her she IS the mother of Isaac.....& John chimes in with fact he is not the father. Hope panics at the idea that Stefano probably is the father...but Marlena quickly explains that No, Stefano cannot be. Hope grasps these implications...the father of her baby is some unknown....and sits down, clearly shaken, with Bo next to her. She looks at him, has another white flash, with Bo's face in it....the screen fades to white, then the hourglass....as the credits roll.

HOME SWEET HOME
Sami’s been home long enough for Will to clutter up the living room as we find Sami picking up his toys when there’s a knock at the door. She looks through the peep hole (atta girl) and sees it’s Marlena. She opens the door and Marlena walks in laden with Bridal magazines. Sami’s concerned as her mom looks worn out, and Marlena admits it’s been a stressful day (ya think?), but glad for the change. As they start to talk about the visit to Lucas, there’s another knock on the door..it’s Roman. He’s surprised and happy to find his 2 favorite women there. Sami tells them the trip went well, but she’s decided on Will not visiting Lucas anymore. Roman and Marlena exchange glances and are amazed how Lucas was saying Will’s name in such a short time and encouraged with that progress with Will’s short visit. Sami tells them she doesn’t want Lucas to wake up and start drinking again and won’t let Will see him again. Her parents are adamant that she can’t refuse Will’s visits to Lucas if he’s helping his progress so much and Sami’s just as determined not to let him visit. Roman hopes she didn’t act this way in front of Will. Sami is blown away when her parents both tell her she’s wrong and Roman moves closer and asks what da hell did she do/say in San Diego and Marlena insists she answer her father. She tells them she didn’t say anything in front of her son, but tells them Kate is after her blood and she will not let Kate win. We know Marlena’s angry with Sami as she calls her Samantha Jean, showing her displeasure with Sami’s actions. Marlena calls Sami insensitive when she learns that Sami insulted Austin’s mother and brother to his face. Sami has a plan and goes off to get a picture of what she has in mind. Roman and Marlena hear a noise in the hall and Roman investigates. He only sees a patient being brought home from the hospital (didn’t see Kate or Lucas apparently) and Marlena suggests offering her help, but he didn’t think she needed to. Sami returns with a brochure on Hawaii and tells them Austin, she and Will are going to move to Hawaii and get a condo on the beach there (guess she’s going to use that moneymaking copier in the closet) after they’re married. They ask if Austin knows about this and she tells them no, but she knows it’ll be okay. Titan’s got a subsidiary in Honolulu he can work at. She’s decided that’s what they’re going to do and no one can stop them!

AUSTIN RETURNS TO TITAN
Austin returns to Titan and apologizes to Nicole for taking longer then expected in California. Nicole understands why they had to stay as she heard about Lucas’ progress. Austin’s surprised she cares about Lucas. She makes light of the situation and changes the subject and when Austin calls her on it, she gets defensive. She lets him know she has a surprise for Kate when she returns. While Kate’s out of town, she figures it’s a good time to dig into the Permalash campaign. Austin first wants to find out how she is doing as she’s his friend. She tells him she’s an official single working woman and living in her apartment. His face scrunches up when she tells him Kate is responsible for getting her out of Victor’s home as she (Kate) wants to move back in with Victor. Austin says Kate’s got other things on her mind and Nicole guesses, it’s her obsession with Sami and judging by Austin’s reaction, figures she’s right. She asks what happened and while Austin doesn’t tell her, she asks if Kate and Sami got physical. She knows she guessed right by his reaction and said she would have paid big money to watch that on pay per view as they duke it out. (gotta love Nicole as she’s saying this..she’s so animated and having fun with it, haha). Austin says it’s not funny as she lightly punches his arm. The poor guy is confused as he wrinkles up his face about wanting peace between the woman he’s going to marry and his mother. Nicole reminds him the adage about you can pick your friends, but not your family. Take Kate’s advise and run to the hills and away from Sami. Austin tells Nicole that Kate called and told him she has a surprise for him (huh, you got THAT right). Nicole goes on warning Austin about not wasting his time trying to make peace between Kate and Sami. I can’t even describe the zoned out Austin as he proclaims he doesn’t understand women. Maybe they should keep their personal and professional lives separate (uh, Austin…Nicole wanted to talk business and YOU were the one who wanted to talk about her personal life…) He winces up his face and gives her the infamous wide eyed look telling her she’s crossing the line again..LOL! She pushes him into a chair and warns him not to marry Sami unless he’s prepared to live with Sami’s non-stop scheming and lying. She tells him fine, let’s talk about work then and he challenges HER to have a conversation without putting someone down (so much for not talking about themselves). He suggests they go to lunch to see if she can and she agrees.

THE BRADY BUNCH
Hope and Bo are still at home as Hope gets woozy again. She can’t fathom who Issac’s father is if it’s not Stefano or John. She can’t imagine being unfaithful to Bo and needs to know the truth. They talk about Issac and how he’s her son and how Lexie and Abe’s lives revolve around Issac. She hugs Bo and feels the need to hold Issac and look into his eyes and love him. Bo promises she will. She gets angry about all the time she’s missed with her son and how JT is part of them too. She starts crying and tells Bo she can’t lose him either. Bo comforts Hope. Later Mickey is there and reminds them it's only a two hour visit with JT and the Reibers. In walks Cameron with Glen, Barb and Miss Burns. Miss Burns (the social worker and registered pediatric nurse) who will supervise the visit. Miss Burns tells Bo and Hope she’s reviewed JT’s medical record and will get him to Salem U. Hospital ASAP if needed. Cameron assures them that Barb and Glen have read up on FAS as well. Glen asks to speak with Bo privately before they leave. Bo asks Glen to go out front and the social worker asks to show Mickey some paperwork. Cameron takes the opportunity to remind Barb about JT’s medical condition and Barb assures her and Hope that Glenny does understand and is also worried about her health being she’s pregnant. Hope pleads with Barb not to let Glen take JT away from them and to focus on their own baby.

Out front the two black leather jacketed guys talk as Glen assures Bo he’ll take good care of JT, he’s his son. What would Bo do if the situation was reversed. Bo admits he’d do the same thing. However, JT’s not healthy and not an infant. He’s attached to them and has FAS. He asks Glen to take his time and to consider the consequences to everyone involved if JT’s taken from the only home he’s ever known. Glen calmly tells Bo he’d like to know his son and is sure Bo can understand that. They return inside and Bo takes off his coat and joins Hope as she goes up to get JT.

Bo and Hope return downstairs with JT and his bag and she tells JT he’s going with these nice people for a little while and they’ll be there when he gets home. Bo hands JT to Glen who calls JT slugger and starts to tell him he’s his daddy when Bo tells him to leave, now. They head for the door as Hope breaks down into Bo’s arms. (Being pregnant herself, Kristian must be even more sensitive to the situation). JT cries on his way to the door in Glen’s arms and the social worker scoots him out as he just stands there trying to comfort JT. Hope runs after them pleading with them not to take her baby as Bo stops her and holds her crying in his arms. (get the Kleenex out as you’ll need them with these scenes)

WELCOME HOME LUCAS!
Kate has Lucas on a hospital bed on Victor’s jet. The doctor and Nurse Jane accompany them. Kate calls Victor and thanks him for the use of the jet. Later we see them rolling comatose Lucas down a hallway. Guess where? To Austin’s apartment. (hello, LOL, Kate didn’t even CALL Austin to let him know he’s got two new roommates…Lucas and Nurse Jane..who apparently is staying with Lucas as the doctor wants to go over Lucas’ file with her before HE leaves.) Kate tells Lucas he’ll be right down the hall from Will and after he’s awake again, can help Austin see Sami’s true ways and give her the old heave ho. Then they’ll get custody of Will and take over Titan. Later Lucas starts to come to and the doctor tells Kate it was a good idea to bring him home as the credits roll…

The Father Child Visit
Glen plays with JT as Barb and Miss Burns watch on, amazed at how well they are getting along. Barb admits feeling uncomfortable with the whole situation as Miss Burns assures her that she shouldn't feel guilty about her feelings of ambivalence. Barb says that she can see Glen loves his son so much and that she must stand by him and support him through all this. But to herself, she can't help but wonder what will happen to the Carvers when Glen gets custody of JT. She is sure that the Bradys will go after Isaac.

Meanwhile, Over at DiMansion…
Cameron Reese shows up, giving Lexie all the gory details about what happened when Glen came to get JT. She is confident that in the end, Glen will give up. Rolf praises her work so far as Cameron tells them that she is so glad that they got together. Abe walks around the corner asking what the HELL is going on. Lexie tries to cover as Abe wants to know just what Cameron is up to. He loses his cool and practically throws Rolf out of the room when HE tries to explain. Rolf tells him that Cameron will be representing them in the fight to keep their child. Color Abe confused. In fact, he wants no involvement with Cameron Reese at all. Lexie tries to explain but Abe doesn't want to hear it. Lexie and Cameron plead their case but Abe doesn't trust Cameron's motives or her ethics. He thinks she is playing both sides of the fence and is only in it for the money. (You are a wise man, Abe). (ROFLMAO) as he says Cameron is the type to check corpses in the morgue for loose change! She claims that she cares about the welfare of the children and promises to keep their best interests at heart. But Abe isn't buying it, so Cameron tells them to let her know what they decide and leaves. After she is gone, Abe and Lexie argue over it…Lexie wants to hire her, but Abe says no. He points out that he is suffering too and would do anything for Isaac, but not this. Lexie accuses him of just standing by and letting their son be taken away. She begs him to help, and as he goes up to see Isaac, she badgers him all the way. When she returns to the den, Rolf applauds her performance (she is pleased as well). They are sure that between Cameron's legal maneuvers and Stefano's money, they can keep this all tied up in the courts until Isaac is at least 21. Lexie is excited and believes that they are winning. Rolf tells her that her father would be proud of her.

At Salem High…
Shawn and Belle are talking in the hallway about what Shawn's family is going through. Shawn says that no matter what, JT will always be his brother…in his heart. Belle asks if Bo and Hope will go after Isaac now. Shawn doesn't know…all he can focus on right now is keeping JT. She asks if Shawn had known about all the baby mess beforehand would he have still asked her out. He assures her that is not the case. He says it is destiny that they be together. He says he is in love with her and is sure that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He catches a glimpse of Jan, kisses Belle and rushes off to her. Jan tells him that she thinks she made a mistake and is worried what all of this may do to his and Belle's relationship. She asks if he is having second thoughts about claiming to be the father. Shawn sees Belle watching them and promises to talk to Jan later. After she leaves, Belle walks up, asking what is going on with Jan. Shawn promises to tell her all about it later. He tells Belle that he loves her and to never forget that.

Later, Jan arrives at home, afraid that Shawn has changed his mind. She says he can't back out on her now…she won't let him.

Over at the Penthouse…
John is at home waiting for Belle as Marlena rushes in. She wants to be there when he tells Belle the news. They are both relieved that Stefano isn't the father too. They talk about how hurt Belle was when they thought that John was the father and how much pain it caused everyone. Marlena talks about how the thoughts of that caused Belle to question everything…love, marriage. Marlena says she feels lucky to have her children and her heart goes out to Hope…she can't even imagine what it would feel like to face losing one of them. John says they will stand by the Bradys and help them through this. Marlena wonders what Hope's feelings about Isaac are during all this. She is sure that if they lose JT, they will go after Isaac. Belle comes in and they tell her the news of how John is NOT the father of Hope's baby. Then she asks the million dollar question…WHO IS THE FATHER? When they tell her that they don't know, she says for Shawn, this is never going to end.

At the Brady's…
Hope is a bundle of nerves, constantly checking her watch, waiting for JT to return. Bo tries to talk about taking a vacation, but she is a million miles away, worrying about JT. She promises to stop driving him crazy, but Bo understands and has no problem with it. She gets really upset, but Bo knows that the visit isn't the only think worrying her. She says she has too many things going on right now, and her focus is on JT. She says a part of her heart is with Isaac, but she knows he is with people who love him. She says she can't give up on him either and won't until he is with her as well. She upsets herself, realizing that what she is thinking of doing to the Carvers exactly what is happening to them. Bo tries to get her to eat, but a knock at the door sends her running to answer it. It's the Reibers with JT. She practically snatches him out of Glen's arms and begins to fawn over him as everyone watches on. They assure them that JT did fine and Miss Burns offers to take him upstairs as the Bradys and Reibers talk. Hope reluctantly agrees as Bo really doesn't want to talk with them. They let them in anyway as Glen chatters on about his visit and how well they did. Hope says that THEY are his family but Glen wants a family as well. Shawn rushes in, wanting to see JT and asks what THEY are doing there. Glen tells them that he wants to do this again soon. Barb tells Hope that JT is Glen's son and they are going to have to accept it. Hope says that she will NEVER accept it as Glen vows to never leave Salem without JT. As they leave, Hope breaks down in Bo's arms crying "Oh, my God, Bo…we are going to lose him…we are going to lose JT aren't we?"…and the credits roll.
