Summary:
Busy show today with everyone at the hospital wanting answers...Jack and Jen are hot on the trail of the story...Shawn and Belle fight...it's a big payday for Sami...John and Tony square off in the basement...Brady and Chloe return to Salem.

At Hartley House...
Cynthia is lurking in the hall as Shawn is on his way to see Belle. When he knocks, Philip answers the door half naked. Shawn gets angry thinking the worst and storms in. As they argue, Belle and Mimi come in and hear Shawn accusing Philip of sleeping with Belle. Belle, Mimi and Philip try to explain, but Shawn is too angry. Mimi and Philip leave them alone as Belle tries to explain and they argue. Belle is now furious for what Shawn thought. Mimi and Philip go to Shawn's room (with Cynthia lurking in the hall listening). She learns that Philip and Chloe have broken up. Back in Belle's room, they continue to argue and Jan's name comes up yet again. Belle still isn't over the fact that Shawn didn't trust her with that situation. He apologizes yet again and promise it will never happen again. She says that he just doesn't trust her. Philip feels bad about what happened and wants to go back and try to explain, but Mimi stops him. She claims she has to get to class and leaves, but not before she and Cynthia have an exchange in the hallway (Mimi calls her the "Whore of Hartley House".) They argue about some kind of upcoming homecoming queen contest and after Mimi leaves, Cynthia vows that Belle won't win. Cynthia goes to see Philip and tells him that she knows about him and Chloe. She accuses him of going after Belle as he denies it. He tells her to get a life and storms out. She says his payback has only just began. Back in Belle's room, Belle is crushed because Shawn doesn't trust her, saying he is suspicious of her all the time as she defends her friendship with Philip. Shawn vows his love for her, but she ain't buying it. He asks if they are through but she doesn't answer him. Mimi rushes in with a copy of the Intruder. Belle is sure that Cassie and Rex may be in trouble and wants to get to the hospital. Shawn tries to stop her, but she is determined. Seeing he can't stop her, he tells her he is going with her, so they all leave.

Back Home...
Brady and Chloe are back in Salem and arrive at his loft as she has flashbacks of the kiss. Craig arrives (they had called him) and is happy to see them. He wants to get her to the hospital to have her checked out, but she claims to be fine. He wants to hear everything, so they tell him about finding Sykes, and how he got away. They all realize he could be in danger again. Chloe wonders why Craig doesn't want Nancy to know all this information and he claims he doesn't want to worry her. He gets beeped and has to get back to the hospital as he hugs Chloe and thanks Brady on his way out. Chloe wonders what is really going on with Nancy. Brady makes her some tea as his mom urges him to tell her how he really feels. But he backs out. Later, they talk about the kiss and wonder where they go from here. He says that the kiss felt right and she agrees. They almost kiss again, but Brady pulls back, saying that their top priority is getting her well. Everything else can wait. They hug as Isabella watches over them, smiling.

Over at DiMansion...
Tony and Colin are discussing the Intruder story and Tony is furious over the break. He is sure that the twins are somehow connected to Stefano and wants them under HIS control. Jack strolls in and asks "wazzzup?" Tony and Colin excuse themselves, leaving the paper behind (on purpose). After they leave, Jack finds the paper and sure that Colin is involved, rushes off to the hospital.

Breaking Loose at University Hospital
Nancy is admiring the heart frames, wishing Chloe would come home. She hopes that she will be happy over the news of the new baby. Craig's secretary comes rushing in looking for him. She shows Nancy the cover of the Intruder and Nancy rushes off, vowing to get to the bottom of it.

John is in the basement with Spector as they discuss the security breech. They review the tapes and lo and behold...guess who shows up on them lurking in the hallway...yup, Sami. Spector wants to go and have her arrested, but John stops him, asking to let him handle her. Meanwhile, Sami and the reporter are on the terrace and she is getting her big payoff. She crams the envelope of money in her purse and he leaves. She still can't believe that people are falling for it, sure that the whole thing about the aliens is a joke. As she goes back inside, she runs into Jennifer, who wants to talk to her about the Will/Abby incident. Sami is in the dark, as Lucas has told her nothing about it. She gets offended that Jen is insinuating that it wasn't an accident. John comes up and drags Sami away, asking her if she is the one who leaked the story. She tries to deny it first, but he tells her about the tapes. She claims she was delivering papers to the morgue and got lost. Tony and Colin arrive and Sami takes the opportunity to slip away, claiming she has to get back to work. Tony claims he is there for more tests as John says he was called by the hospital over the alien story (he being on the board of directors).

From across the room, Jen sees Lucas and Sami arguing. As they take it out to the terrace, Jack sneaks in and tells Jennifer about his suspicions of Tony and Colin. They decide to follow them. Tony sees Jack and Jen talking and is happy that Jack took the bait and followed him there. Tony heads to the basement (with Jack following) and Jen talks with Colin (fishing for info). He claims he knows what is really going on down there and if she is nice to him, he will give her a scoop (sleazy bastard). A few minutes later, 2 men dressed in black come dragging Nancy and Jack into the lobby (picked them up on the stairway). Nancy is livid and orders Brenda to call the police. Craig arrives and tries to clear everything up. He tells everyone that there are indeed 2 special patients in the basement in isolation, but they are very much human. After his explanation, Jen gets an envelope (Brenda says that Harold sent it over) and is shocked at what she finds inside. She tells Jack that it says it has all the information on the Gemini Twins. (I'm assuming that Tony had it sent). Colin sees them and is pleased that Tony's plan is working. Craig tells Nancy that Chloe is back in Salem and she wants to throw a big party for her.

Sami and Lucas argue on the terrace. He tells her that Will intentionally hurt Abby and when he asked him, he bold-faced lied to him about it...just like his mother. Lucas says the sooner he gets Will away from her, the better. Sami is furious and they argue. On her way back inside, she drops her purse and all that money falls out. Lucas asks if she won the lottery. She tells him it's none of his business and claims that she just got her paycheck cashed, but he doesn't believe her.

In the Basement...
John hooks back up with Spector as they discuss what is going on. They spot Tony wandering around the basement on the security cameras and John goes after him. John tries to run him off, but Tony demands to know what is REALLY going on down there and for John to drop the pretense. He asks him about the Gemini Twins, the project name and the pillow that Stefano left Marlena. He knows that they are all connected somehow. He says that it would benefit them both to learn the connection. Tony is willing to share what he knows if John will do the same, but John is sure that Tony doesn't have that much. John goes to leave but Tony stops him and says that together, they can find the KEY that will unlock the mystery. Freeze frame on John's face...as the credits roll.

Colin tells Nicole some bad news today while everyone else just reads her medical file lying on the counter. Belle and Shawn make up while others investigate, argue or loiter in the dorm or hospital.

While lurking outside Nicole's room, Kate hears Victor's plans to take Nicole back to his mansion to recuperate. Nicole is even surprised by this. As Victor steps out to attend to something, Kate slips in and threatens Nicole. She taunts Nicole, saying Victor won't let her sleep with their clients. Colin walks in and Kate takes off. He has bad news for Nicole.

Victor and Philip meet in the hospital cafeteria. He asks his father if he wants his car keys now. Victor tells his son that he talked with the manager at dotCom and she will give him a job, but Philip feels stocking shelves is beneath him and he can take care of himself. When asked where he spent the night, Philip continues his pity party and tells his father in the dorm where he didn't sleep well and caused trouble for his friends. He tells Philip that Nicole's moving in with him as Philip mouths off about it. Philip announces he might not even register for the next semester at Columbia and stomps off (think he needs a time out Victor!)

Harold joins Jack at the hospital and both are excited about the scoop they're getting on the teen's storyline. Jack's researched recent police calls and found where some teens in Salem Place were questioned for robbery at Ballistics showed up. He sends Harold to investigate, then asks Sami for any inside info on the story. She changes the subject to Brandon and her big plans for a trip with him. Jack easily gets Sami to tell him about what happened in the morgue with Nicole and he pieces together how she was in the morgue/basement and now has money for the trip with Brandon. She tries to deny it, but Jack tells her she's a lousy liar. He wants information and she eagerly obliges if he'll not divulge his source. He writes quickly and as they finish up, Belle and Shawn overhear and realize Sami was the one to leak the story. Jack jumps to Sami's defense and they laugh over her „No Comment‰ response to all the reporters. Sami changes the subject and asks about Marlena, but Belle tells her Mom's been busy lately and she and Shawn head back to the dorm to study. Jack decides Belle's the one covering up.

Later, Sami is taking care of business (yes, she's actually working!) when Colin drops off Nicole's file on her desk. Sami looks inside and spots something of interest. Jack and Sami chat a bit about what's fair. He spots Belle and Shawn and figures they know about the twins. Bo takes B&S outside to talk as Belle has a fit about being kept from Cassie and Rex. Bo tells them John asked for his help with security after the Intruder article and could they have said something to someone who might have leaked the story to the press? Belle rationalizes that her family wouldn't, but accuses Shawn of doing so. Bo recognizes a problem between his son and Belle as she glares at Shawn. Shawn denies doing anything intentionally, but admits someone else might have overheard them. They start up about how he overreacted when Philip opened her door as Bo watches the verbal tennis match. He learns about Philip's dilemma and Shawn asks Bo if Philip can sleep at their house being they have an extra room now. Philip walks out on the terrace and overhears, accusing Shawn of being anxious to be rid of him at the dorm. Bo and Shawn explain they were trying to help him out. Philip apologizes, saying it's been a bad day as Victor walks out on the terrace as well. The teens quickly go back inside the hospital and Victor and Bo talk. Victor knows Philip's not happy about his engagement to Nicole, and asks Bo what his opinion is. Bo tells his father that if Nicole makes him happy, he's happy about it. Victor thanks him and after he leaves, Bo mumbles that he can't understand how that woman would make anyone happy, for long.

Victor returns to Nicole's room to find her crying and Colin's arm around her shoulder. Victor demands to know why Colin's there. He explains he was called in to consult and tells him about how the bullet hit one of Nicole's fallopian tubes and the other one was damaged already. Victor accuses Colin of sloppy surgery, but Colin said the surgery went fine, there was some sort of physical exertion that caused the damage. Nicole remembers struggling with Sami in the morgue. Colin leaves and Victor comforts Nicole. (shouldn't Colin have told Victor to speak with Nicole about it...what about patient confidentiality?) Nicole tells Victor he doesn't have to marry her now if he doesn't want to as she knows he wants more children. He assures her he still wants to marry her and leaves, saying it's not her fault. Nicole rationalizes it's not her fault, it's Sami's (yeah, she drug you down to the morgue Nicole)

Kate sees Nicole's file just sitting in the tray on Sami's desk. She looks at the file and leaves satisfied with something she also found in it. She returns to Nicole's room with flowers as Nicole bellows for a nurse to get rid of Kate (no nurse shows up, what if Nicole were hurt, geesh). Kate comments on Nicole's plumbing being damaged and Nicole realizes she saw her file and threatens to sue her. Kate figures Victor doesn't know about it and won't marry her if he finds out. Neither feels the other is mother material and Nicole tells Kate her children are proof of that..except for Austin, he turned out okay, but Kate didn't raise him, did she? She mentions Vivian was the one who gave birth to Philip and had she raised him instead of Kate, he would have turned out better (yes, bring Viv back!)

Jack finds Bo getting coffee and takes him out to the terrace to look at the reporters all there about the aliens. Bo tells him to give it up and returns inside. Kate walks out, ready to scream as Jack covers his ears, LOL. He asks who she's mad about and tells Kate he despises Nicole too. Kate rattles on about how angry she is about Nicole marrying Victor. Jack listens and she wonders why she's telling him all this as she goes on and on about it. She figures Jack hates her after she and Victor took the Spectator away from him years ago. She mentions his dating her daughter, but he says he hasn't even seen Billie since she started with the mayor's detail and Kate's relieved about the new job as it's safer. He understands what it means to worry about their children. She figures he and Jennifer can talk about Abby at least. He shares how it breaks Abigail's heart that her parents aren't together and when asked, tells her Jen is dating Colin. He flashes back on seeing Colin and Nicole kissing in Salem Place. He tells Kate that there might be something on Colin and Nicole that might help her.

Belle and Shawn return to the dorm, still arguing. Philip is there and apologizes for imposing on Belle the night before, accepting the responsibility. He tells them not to waste their energy fighting and the two quickly apologize to each other. He tells them to kiss and make up as they do. Philip leaves to straighten out his life and face his problems head on. They thank him for helping them as Shawn hugs Belle. Belle gives Philip a flier for the football game the next night and the dance afterwards. Cynthia tells them Hartley House will have a better party as Dozer sneaks in with a couple 12 packs of beer (after finding out Caprice isn't there). Shawn doesn't want it in their room, but Dozer tells him to find another room if he doesn't like it. Cynthia is handing out heartshaped sugar cookies with VOTE FOR CYNTHIA on them and gives one to Belle. Belle tells her a freshman never wins, but Cynthia's not to be discouraged as Shawn and Phil each grab a couple cookies. Belle and Shawn head up to her room to study and toss the cookies in the trash. Shawn tries to study, but Belle tosses the school book on her bed and the two take a kiss break.

Downstairs Cynthia trades her cookies for one of Dozer's beers, then sits next to Philip and reminds him about the night at her house. He doesn't want her help, but she talks him into having a beer as the three sit there and guzzle and stare at each other. (why is he hanging around the dorm?)

Jack overhears Colin and Bo talking about the breach in security the night before. Bo knows how close Colin and Tony are and ponders if he helped Tony get into the basement. Flashing back on his adventures the night before, Colin eyes Sami at the desk and suggests Bo might look at someone else in their family who's responsible. Sami sees the two staring at her and looks guilty, so Bo decides to talk with her. Colin figures he better warn Tony.

Bo hints to Jack to forget the aliens and tells Jack the real story is Colin and Tony. He suggests Jack return to the mansion. He also asks Jack to keep an eye on Sami. Jack on the pay phone as Colin watches from the desk. Kate watches Victor return to Nicole's room and through the blinds on the door, sees him sit next to Nicole's bed. She figures she knows Victor better then anyone and he won't want someone with damaged goods. Inside the room, Victor tells a sleeping Nicole that he's sorry, so sorry...as the credits roll....

Not much going on in Salem, tho several residents exchange angry words, others make vows, and the Wesleys celebrate Chloe's birthday, in spite of Philip making a fool of himself there.

SALEM HOSPITAL
Fay meets Abe in the cafeteria, & tells him about Nicole's latest test results. They chat & make a date for dinner after she visits Nik. Lexie comes in, spots them, but Celeste prevents her from going to confront them. Celeste tries to point out the reasons she should not cause a scene, and they argue. Abe & Fay talk about Lexie stalling the divorce. Lexie finds Brandon, and pulls him out onto that so popular balcony (wonder what all these people will do in winter, when it is cold out there) telling him about Fay & Abe being together. Brandon, naturally, gets angry, & then Lexie asks him to promise not to tell anyone about their making love. Brandon says it wasn't making love, was strictly sex, which he knows Lexie regretted 2 minutes later (deja vu! -haven't these two had this same conversation 2 or 3 times already?), but agrees that if anyone ever finds out, it won't be from him. Lexie hugs him, as Brandon notes Abe watching from inside. LOL
Lexie goes inside, approaches Abe, who asks her why she & her lawyer won't return his attorney's calls. Lexie claims no messages, (yeah, right!) & Abe tells her her stalling techniques won't work. Brandon comes in, telling Abe he is on HIS turf, and this is not the place for an argument. Abe tells Lexie the divorce WILL happen, Fay arrives and they leave to go to dinner. Lexie vows to get Abe back.

Brandon stops in to see Nicole, and say he is sorry about her test results. Nicole claims not to care, she did not want children anyway. And she is gonna use this to get what she wants. Brandon questions her as to what strain could have caused this problem, and guesses it was her altercation with Sami. Brandon tries to make her realize that if she married Victor just for the money, that without love in her life, she will be very unhappy, and tells her she needs to wake up.
Later, Nicole is in a wheelchair outside the nursery, watching the nurses and babies, when Celeste stops by. Nik tells her she cannot have a child, and Celeste offers some advice, telling her how she gave up her daughter for a rich & powerful man, not wanting him to influence the child. Instead in later years, he did, much to her sorrow. She looks at Nik's rock of an engagement ring, saying that if a relationship is financial, one eventually feels a prisoner.
Even later, Nicole is in her room, when Fay comes, telling her how sorry she is Nik cannot have a child. Nicole rants at her about Paul, & Brandon comes in. Fay leaves, he & Nik argue. He vows to keep Abe away from Fay, and leaves. Nicole vows to keep Sami away from Brandon. (yawwnn)

SALEM U
In the dorm lobby, Caprice tells Shawn & Belle that Mrs. Wesley called, and the birthday party for Chloe will start soon. Philip, who is laying on the sofa (for a guy who has no place to sleep, or money, he does not seem too concerned with finding a job, etc) and his ears perk up, realizing Chloe is back in town. Shawn, Belle & Mimi leave to go to the party. Cynthia gets a bright idea, whispers to Dozer, who invites Phil up to his room for some more beer, and says they should start with some shots of tequila.
At Brady's loft, Brady is on the phone, picking up his messages from Basic Black. (you mean he actually has messages there....when does he work?) They talk of how close they were to finding her father, how it failed. Brady tells her Nancy is anxious to see her, and they should leave.

THE WESLEY HOME
Nancy is blowing up balloons, talking with Craig about Chloe's birthday. Brady & Chloe arrive, followed immediately by the arrival of Belle, Shawn & Mimi. Craig throws open the door to the living room, all decorated for Chloe's party. Chloe opens gifts - a vegetarian cook book from Belle & Shawn, a big bunch of broccoli (this is so hysterical....and sooooo MIMI) from Mimi, and the opera Carmen on CDs from her parents. As she is thanking everyone, the door bursts open, and a drunken Philip comes lurching in with a bunch of flowers, singing Happy Birthday. He knows he was not invited, and he picked the flowers from the Wesley garden (tells Craig he is sorry). Chloe explains to all that tho she & Philip are not together, she will forgive him if he apologizes, as she has learned life is too short. Phil apologizes, dropping to his knees as he grabs Chloe around the waist. He sees Nancy coming in with the cake and lit candles, and rushes to take it away from her, singing "Take me back" as he blows out HER candles (the two candles together say "18"). Shawn & Brady take Philip outside, and Belle & Shawn take him back to the dorm.

Belle & Shawn bring Philip back to the dorm (wonder where Caprice is now....isn't she supposed to be keeping an eye on the kids), & when Cynthia tells them Dozer is up in his room, sleeping it off, Shawn tells Philip to go join him, since he & Dozer are such good friends. Belle tells Shawn he can crash in her room in the other bed. They go up, and soon Philip comes down, complaining of Dozer snoring. He starts to whine to Cynthia about Chloe, but she tells him everything is his own fault and no one elses. He did it, and is constantly screwing up. She says he has no place to sleep, no money, no job...who would have thought Philip Kiriakis would end up being such a loser. Meanwhile, upstairs, Belle & Shawn say goodnight, and climb into their respective beds. She tells him she loves him and he says he loves her. In a minute, he is up and over by her bed, she sits up, and Shawn is saying he forgot to kiss her goodnight. They lock lips, and fadeout, as they both fall back onto the bed.

Back at the Wesleys
Mimi soon leaves, too.....and the cake is still there. Chloe tells Craig & Nancy her feelings, how much Brady helped her, how she was in denial over her illness, allowed Philip to have her escape reality with his gifts, (like the tree) . She thanks Brady, telling him she did not want to hear him at first, but is so greatful now. They decide to relight the candles, Chloe suggests they ALL make a wish together, and she blows out her candles. Later (nope, we do not see them eating even one bite of that cake, just the crumb covered plates, lololol) Brady puts his plate down, and gets up to leave. As he & Chloe go outside, Nancy tells Craig, she changed her mind, she is going to tell Chloe about the baby.
Outside, Chloe asks Brady if he purposely waited til she was 18 to kiss her, but Brady says the kiss just happened. He caresses her face, saying she looks especially beautiful tonight. He strokes her cheek with his thumb, then leaves. And the credits roll.

It's a new day in Salem! Basic Black management shows up for a few minutes work, Marlena works to set Cassie and Rex free, while Kate and Sami become allies against Victor and Nicole. A surprise announcement in Hartley House spurs Cynthia into more high school behavior (sigh).

HARTLEY HOUSE
Shawn, fully dressed and barefoot, sneaks over to Belle's bed and kisses her awake. Philip, in midst hangover, walks in (without knocking) and crawls under the covers of the other bed. Watching him moan, both B&S hope he doesn't get sick in their rooms. He asks for an aspirin and Belle obliges along with bottled water to wash it down with. Upset he wasn't invited to Chloe's party, he decides to go cold turkey on both drinking and Chloe. Belle's proud of his quitting drinking, but can't believe he won't see Chloe again. He figures Chloe will get well again and want him back. Belle and Shawn want to go downstairs for breakfast and to see who won the heartbreak contest for Hartley House. They kiss and Belle apologizes to Philip, but he's happy for them.

The trio joins the rest of the housemates for an official meeting. Philip feels he's intruding (ya think?), but Belle tells him that Mimi usually attends all of their meetings, but had a class right now (what a unique idea for a college..classes). The meeting is to divulge who won the heartbreaker contest. Margo, the president of Hartley House, opens the envelope and is surprised the winner is a freshman for the first time. Cynthia smiles, thinking her cookies did the trick, but the president announces Isabella Black as the winner. Shawn mocks Belle for being the most popular as a surprised Belle gets a paper heart to tear in half as her honor. Belle flashes back to tearing the paper heart saying I LOVE YOU in half when she thought Shawn had slept with Jan, and doesn't want to tear this heart in half. The president tells her it's a tradition, so Belle does. Cynthia pushes forward, insisting she knows she had at least 20 votes. Margo tells Cynthia she got only 2 votes and figures one was Cynthia's. She couldn't imagine who was the other one as we see Dozer guzzling another beer. Margo tells Cynthia she's gotten several complaints about Cynthia and reminds her this is college and to act like it. Insert some background laughs from the house residents as Cynthia fires back that Belle will surely break some guy's heart this year as we see Shawn's face. Belle's told that her first duty is to lead their house to the homecoming game, so off they go. Dozer throws another empty in the trash as he assures Cynthia he's playing tonight (hopefully college coaches are more observant then house supervisors). He wants to date Cynthia, but she tells him she only will if he makes sure that Belle breaks at least one heart to earn her title.

BASIC BLACK
Kate hangs up from a disgruntled client. John overhears from the door and joins her. He's dressed in a black suit and though apologizes for leaving the burden of the work on her shoulders lately, wants to know why business is slipping. She promises to keep him more informed. He assures her that both he and Brady will be back at work full time soon as he won't be needing to spend so much time at the hospital. She asks why the twins have been isolated. He only tells her that it's necessary for Marlena to do this now, but hopes to have her home soon. Marlena calls his cell and has some good news for him and asks if he can come hear the good news in person. John's much happier after the call and tells Kate he has his wife back now and rushes off, greeting Lucas in the outer office. Kate immediately launches a vase of flowers from her desk at the wall. Lucas asks if it was meant for John or him? She tells him Nicole and doesn't have time to talk to Lucas now as she dashes off to the hospital. They both leave the mess to housecleaning.

HOSPITAL
Rex beats Agent Spector in a game of computer chess. Spector learns that not only did the twins learn how to play chess just the day before, but that Rex wrote the game program and admitted programming it in his own favor. Marlena joins them and Cassie whispers something to her. Marlena tells Cassie she'll get her wish as will she.

Elsewhere, Sami and Brandon chat about the reporters all around. She's anxious for their weekend together and shows pictures to him. He comments how expensive it is, but she assures him it's paid for already. Victor wheels Nicole in from the terrace as he felt some fresh air would help her. She glares at her brother and Sami hugging and tells Victor what she needs is some peace of mind and Sami's the only one who could do that. Victor wheels Nicole over and she hears Brandon say he can't leave his sister right now. Nicole tells him to go as she doesn't need a babysitter right now. Nicole asks to talk to Sami privately. Brandon's reluctant to leave them alone, so Nicole tells Sami about her not being able to have children. She figures her brother deserves to have a happy family now and apologizes to Sami. She asks Sami to wheel her out on the terrace, which she does. Brandon and Victor exchange surprised looks. Now alone, Nicole tells Sami she's sorry....that she's with her brother. She tells Sami that it's her fault for what happened in the morgue. Sami reminds Nicole that she was trying to kill her, but Nicole tells her she just thought she was trying to kill her. She will be dead though after she tells Victor that Sami's responsible for her barren condition. Nicole knows she can phrase it so Victor will be sympathetic for her. Sami threatens to tell Victor about Nicole's sleeping with Colin. Nicole fires back with Sami's part in throwing her in front of a bullet, almost pulling her life support plug and then pushing her down in the morgue. Unless Sami proves she'll leave them alone forever, she'll tell Victor everything. She gives Sami ½ hr. to go home (being she lives around the corner) and bring her the tape and pictures. Sami rushes inside to Brandon, who's anxious for a report of what happened. Victor joins Nicole, also interested. Nicole doesn't want to talk about it right now. Inside Sami tells Brandon every thing seemed so petty right now as though she and Nicole had made up. Nicole asks Victor for the time when he wheels her in (loud enough for Sami to hear) as he replies 9:25. Sami dashes off for the elevator, practically pushing Kate and Lucas out of it, after telling Brandon she forgot her purse in the car. Lucas hints she rush right out of town and Sami snaps back he wouldn't like that as he wouldn't have anyone else to torment, then stomps on his foot (LOL) as she closes the elevator door as he hops up and down. Brandon chuckles, watching as Lucas vents off at him. Brandon tells Lucas he doesn't want to lose contact with him as he's the best case study he's ever met!

Victor pushes Nicole right into Kate. Victor and Kate exchange barbs as Nicole watches only, playing the victim. Kate mentions how Nicole's gotten everything she wanted by lying on her back and she threatens Nicole she'll be more than barren of babies after she's done with her, she'll barely exist. Victor tells Kate that's enough and rolls Nicole off, whispering he loves her and Kate will pay dearly if she hurts her. Pretending to be distraught about being barren, Nicole returns to her bed and dispatches Victor to get her a stuffed animal from the gift shop, realizing Sami's ½ hr. is almost up. Sami brings an envelope with the tape and picture to a gloating Nicole. She tells her there are no duplicates. Nicole pops up and happily tears the pictures in two and pulls the tape out of the cassette in front of Sami. She tosses the debris in the garbage can. Sami asks if Nicole's now going to leave her alone, right. Nicole agrees as Sami leaves. Alone, Nicole laughs saying she's just getting started on Sami. Victor arrives with a cute soft white bear..awwww. Nicole tells Victor how Kate came the day before and told her he would leave her now. He promises to take care of Kate. She continues about not being strong enough to handle everyone right now and he demands to know what happened on the terrace. She tells him she tried to apologize to Sami, but that Sami promised to turn her brother away from her and that neither Sami or Kate are not happy with her marrying him. He has the perfect wedding present for Nicole, getting rid of her problems. Sami and Kate run into each other and realize they share a hatred for Nicole and that they both hate Nicole more then each other.

JOHN RUSHES INTO THE LAB...
and Marlena greets him with a big hug, saying he can take her home now. The twins are stable enough to just have therapy during the day now. She tells him she can tell that Cassie and Rex are good people, just like she knew he was the first time she met him. He wants a moratorium on twin talk, but she tells him about a wish that both she and the twins had. Her wish came true as John came to get her. She tells the twins to tell John and Agent Spector their wish. They do, that they want to be set free, today. Spector tells them he doesn't have the authority to let them go. Marlena tells the twins to go pack, she'll take care of it. John and Marlena don't agree on the twins leaving yet. She feels John wants to use Cassie and Rex to pay for Stefano's sins. He disagrees and doesn't want anyone hurt. She demands Spector call someone to sign the twin's release forms or she'll call a civil rights attorney. The twins are ready (not much to pack) and flashing their tattoos to John, asking him to have their tattoos removed so he'll know they're good. John tells them he still has a tattoo and doesn't believe that. Rex figures John thinks they're bad inside then. Marlena asks to speak with John alone. Spector returns and has the directive to release the twins. John asks where they can go and Spector explains that being they don't have any memories of their past and will need appointed guardians. Marlena suggests they move into Belle and Brady's rooms. John tells her over his dead body. (Being a computer genius, Rex could get a job writing software and support both he and Cassie in Salem style, don't ya think?)

BACK IN NICOLE'S ROOM...
Nicole insists on knowing what her wedding present will be. Victor promises to destroy both Kate and Sami (who are eavesdropping outside Nicole's room) on their wedding day. Cue surprised expressions on Kate and Sami's face as the credits roll...

Summary: Jack is kicked out of DiMansion; Chloe learns that she is going to get a sibling and John and Marlena argue over the welfare of the twins...as Tony offers his own (though unwelcome) suggestion.

At DiMansion...
Jack is pumping Iliana for information and hits a brick wall as she is tight-lipped. After she leaves the room, he decides to have a peek on Tony's computer. Outside Tony and Colin are talking about the article about the twins in the Spectator. Tony has a plan that he wants to discuss with Colin inside. Tony goes in alone first, in case Jack is hanging around. He finds Jack on his computer (as Jack claims to be sending an email to the paper). Tony asks him about the article in the Spectator but Jack refuses to reveal his sources. Tony confronts him about why he is really there...to uncover some deep dark DiMera secrets and calls him a failure. Tony tells him to get his stuff and get out of there and basically not to let the door hit him in the ass on the way out. Jack takes the not-so-subtle hint and leaves. On his way out, he runs into Bart who tells him that he saw Colin take his cell phone (Colin is lurking around the corner listening). After Jack leaves, Tony and Colin talk about the twins and the key. Tony claims he is close to uncovering their secret but won't tell Colin what he is up to. Later, Colin corners Bart and warns him to stop making trouble for him. Bart reminds him that he is NO DiMera, but Colin says he is just as dangerous.

Over at the Loft...
Isabelle asks Brady why he is so angry and he explains that it is because he couldn't find Chloe's father. He remembers the kiss as she explains that it wasn't a waste of time, for they got somewhere with each other. Bo walks in and asks Brady who he is talking to. Brady covers and Bo says that's okay, everyone is Salem talks to themselves (ROFL). History remembered here as Bo recalls that he and Hope used to live there and that they are the ones that converted it from an old warehouse to an apartment. They talk about the PI that the Wesley's hired (he called Bo complaining that Brady ruined his investigation). Brady claims the botched investigation wasn't his fault...it was Philip's. After Brady explains all that happened (off camera) Bo agrees with him somewhat, but he should've let the professionals handle it. Brady explains that he wanted to be the one to come through, claiming to do it for his mother (as Isabella watches them). Bo softens saying he understands and tells him that if he needs help, call him. As he leaves, he "walks through" Isabella (she IS his sister, isn't she?) and says that the place has "good vibes". After Bo leaves, Brady asks her if she changed Bo's mind. She says that she only helped him listen to his heart.

At the Wesley House...
Craig, Nancy and Chloe are all having a nice family reunion, catching up on things and tell her that they have some wonderful news for her. They tell her about Nancy's pregnancy, not knowing how Chloe will take it. Not to worry folks. At first she is confused, then in shock (asking if it was an accident), then thrilled. She becomes very excited, offering to take Nancy to doctor's appointments, coaching her, etc. They tell her that they will know next week if the baby will be a match for her. She wants to rush over and tell Brady the news. But they ask her to wait and she agrees. But, she does want to go and tell Brady that she has new hope. After she leaves, they talk about how right this is. Later in the show, Nancy is already starting to have her cravings as Craig brings her peppermint ice cream and sauerkraut. Oh, gag me as she gobbles it down. She offers Craig some and he almost barfs as well. She talks about loving sweet and sour and suggests they have Chinese for dinner.

Cop Shop...
Jack shows up to talk to Bo. He tells him about being kicked out of DiMansion as Bo rakes him over the coals about the Alien Twin story. But Jack claims he only told the truth, feeling that they only told the truth, unlike the Intruder. Jack is more upset over losing the DiMera story, so sure that they are up to something. He is sure that Cousin Colin is involved somehow. Both are suspicious, but Bo says that there is no proof. Jack tells him about Colin stealing his cell phone to come between him and Jennifer. Bo questions him about his involvement with Billie as Jack wonders why Bo cares. Anyway, Jack claims that they are only friends. They are interrupted when Bo gets a phone call from Hope. Jack leaves as Bo and Hope talk. (REALLY good to see her). Of course she is calling from the Reiber kitchen, hiding behind her customary flower arrangement. They catch up as they talk about JT and Zack. She gives him (and us) the good news that they are getting ready to come home and Bo is thrilled.

Back to the Loft...
Chloe shows up happy and tells him that he has to have faith, telling him that she has had a miracle and hope for the future. She doesn't tell him the details, but knows where there is love, there is hope. He tells her that is the same thing that his mother said. He tells her about feeling his mother's presence and talking with her and how comforting it is to him to feel that she is watching over him. She tells him that before it scared her, but now she understands. She says that he inherited that quality as he is now watching over her. She tells him that she needs to get back home and how ironic it is that she is happy to be home. As she leaves, we see Philip lurking in the hallway listening. They say their goodbyes and Brady gives her a kiss on the cheek as she leaves. At the elevator, she says (about Brady) "

In the Hospital Basement...
Marlena works on John about taking the twins home with them. He is dead set against it, telling her he fears what Stefano has planned for them. John puts his foot down and says they are NOT living in his home PERIOD. Marlena is less than thrilled about this, even though he claims he is only trying to protect his family. Spector has to leave to take care of something while they discuss the matter. But John tells him it is settled...NO DISCUSSION. Marlena tells him she is not giving up. She goes in to see the twins, who are packing their things to leave. They are excited about getting out (Cassie wants to go shopping at Salem Place and Rex wants to go to dotCom). As Marlena smiles at them, they talk about living a normal life, getting jobs and finding a place to live. John excuses himself and Marlena and they go out to talk. He tries to explain his side of the story, saying they can't trust them...and he doesn't want her to either. Inside, Cassie and Rex pull out the pictures of Shawn and Belle and smile. But Marlena will not back down, and tries to convince him that they need some common ground, and that maybe this will be a good way to keep an eye on the twins. He agrees that they do need to keep an eye on them, but NOT in HIS house. (Excuse me...but isn't that Marlena's penthouse?) No discussion. Spector returns and tells them that there is a new development. Rex tells Cassie not to worry, Marlena will help them and be good to them. Spector returns with Tony, who has a court order to take the twins home with him. John and Marlena stand there staring in shock...as the credits roll.
