Summary:
Sami makes nice with Brandon...Philip has some 'splainin' to do...It's a good day for "Broe‰ fans as Brady and Chloe get close...and Nancy gets a surprise!

In Salem Park...
We get a replay of Philip's arrival and Nancy's fainting spell. They call an ambulance and rush her to the hospital, but Criag wants Philip there as well and explain what's going on and where Chloe is. Victor says he has some questions himself, so he and Kate go too.

At the Hospital...
Later, Nancy is in the ER awake and alert now. She is demanding to know where Chloe is. Colin comes in as Nancy is demanding to go and talk to Philip, but he and Craig make her calm down. In the waiting area, Philip is being grilled by Victor and Kate (Belle and Shawn have tagged along and are in the background listening). Craig comes out and demands to know where Chloe is. Philip tells them all that she is fine and is with Brady. They question him, but he offers no details about it. Philip is angry and rushes out, followed by Shawn and Belle. Craig returns to Nancy with Brady's cell phone number (Belle gave it to him). They call it, but there is no answer, worrying them even further.

Meanwhile, out on the terrace, Sami is waiting for Brandon. She wants to celebrate, but he wants the whole story. She gets agitated, saying he is taking Nicole's side. She finally spills SOME of the beans, talking about the tape Victor is holding over her. He questions her as to what is on the tape, but she tries to change the subject. He doesn't understand because he knows she is holding something over Kate as well. She just wants to forget about the tape and start fresh. She assures him that if there were more, Nicole would have told him all about it for she hates her. He says they can't start fresh if they aren't honest. She says that she will never be an open book and knows he is the same. Brandon says he just wants to be sure he can trust her. About that time Kate pops her head out the door and says "You have GOT to be kidding‰. She comes out and threatens to tell Victor that she saw them together. As Sami begins to rant at her, Kate asks where she got the shiner. Sami asks if she wants one too. Kate vows to get to the bottom of what is going on as she goes back inside. Brandon asks Sami about her eye and offers to go and get her some ice. He returns with an icepack and she thanks him for taking care of him. He suggests that they start over...as friends and see where it goes from there. He introduces himself and asks if he can call her some time. As he goes back inside...Sami is in 7th Heaven.

Belle and Shawn catch up with Philip and find out he is angry because of Brady and blames Belle somewhat. He starts going ballistic at her as Shawn tries to calm him down. They ask him about school and he calls them hypocrites because they changed their plans as well so they could be together. He says there is no way he would go off and leave Chloe when she is so sick. He says that Brady could never love her or take care of her like he could and then rushes off. Belle wishes she knew what happened, but Shawn suggests they stay out of it (For THAT, Shawn deserves the Œbest advice of the day award'). As Belle and Shawn talk, she brings up Rex and Cassie. As they talk about them, Colin is eaves dropping. He beats a path to the nearest phone and calls Tony, telling him that he has news for him, courtesy of Belle Black. Shawn and Belle decide to head back to the dorm.

Back inside, Kate rejoins Victor and they start on Philip again. Victor says that they will sit down tomorrow and reach a solution to this problem and they leave.

At the Campsite...
Brady is outside by the fire and Chloe wakes up and joins him. He jokingly says he couldn't sleep for she was snoring Madame Butterfly in his ear. She remembers the Light the Night Walk and Brady asks if she is thinking about Philip. They joke about her being so out of place out there and he offers to make s'mores. She asks s'more what? (LOL) for she has no idea what he is talking about. He explains and it sounds good to her. They talk about lines from Romeo and Juliet (about the stars and Heavens). She takes his arm as the watch the stars. Chloe talks some about her childhood as he talks about his mother and how his dad named a star after her. He points it out to her. He tells her about talking to his mother and how she is helping them. She becomes misty, saying that once no one cared for her and now it seems that she has so many people in her life caring for her...she doesn't want to give it all up. They talk about the necessities of life...Brady says they are friends, family and love. Brady asks her about Philip and she talks about his jealousy as Brady defends him somewhat, saying that Philip does truly love her and would sacrifice anything to save her. Chloe agrees and sees those as some of his qualities. She takes his hand, saying that now she knows what was meant to be. She says that Philip was an illusion to her and everything she thought she saw in him wasn't there at all. As they sit, both catch a whiff of something and realize that a skunk is somewhere nearby (LOL). Later, Brady is in the creek washing off (off camera) as we see his wet clothes hanging in the trees. Chloe hears a wolf howl and gets frightened, wanting him to come back up with her. He comes back (naked) and she gets him a towel. They sit by the fire as he teaches her the fine art of toasting marshmallows and making s'mores. As they joke around for a while, she places her head on his shoulder and falls asleep. He looks at the stars, thinking of his mother. He says that Chloe always wanted to be a star and vows to see that she is...with him. He says this is where you belong.

Back at the Hospital...
Nancy is feeling better and wants to go home, but Craig makes her rest. Colin comes by with Nancy's test results. Craig informs her that she does NOT have indigestion. She asks what is wrong with her and with a huge smile on his face, he tells her they won't know until they find out if it's a boy or a girl...yes, she is pregnant. Nancy is overcome with emotion as they hold onto each other and cry...and the credits roll.

Roman Brady has a date!

Roman walks into Kate's office while she gloats over how easily she got a big account for Basic Black. An account that Victor or his trashy blonde wouldn't get. He agrees to help her celebrate that night as she suggests Tuscany, but he wants to choose the place. His place or hers she ponders. He promises not to mention Stefano's name unless she does first and wants a chance to get to know her better. Sami walks in after hearing that, asking if he's serious about that? Roman's furious with Sami's interference as Kate and Sami argue. He demands Sami leave and says they'll talk about it later. Kate notes that Sami doesn't approve as Roman stares at her. He asks that they not let Sami ruin their date tonight and sets some ground rules. Tonight it's all about them having fun...no Sami, no Dimera. She agrees and he tells her he'll call her later and leaves. She gets a business call from a client backing out as they're going back to Titan.

At the park
At the park, Abby and Will are playing football as Jen and Maggie watch. It's teachers conference day, so Jen's happy for the excuse to play hooky too. Maggie mentions the perk of working with Jack at the paper, but Jen mentions it's the only place they get along. Maggie asks Jen if she's caught between Colin and Jack. Jen tells Maggie about how her feelings have changed about Colin after he told her about her father. He was wonderful and was even there when she called her father. She feels she needs to give him the benefit of the doubt about his involvement with the Dimeras. She admits being attracted to Colin and even though she's still attracted to Jack, can't let him hurt her again. Maggie shares that years back, Mickey was always wrapped up in his work too (still is in my opinion) and she turned to another man who seemed to be more caring, but was lucky that Mickey took her back. Jen gets the drift that Jack might not be as forgiving if Jen continues on with Colin. Maggie tells her to follow her heart. Maggie reminds Jen how Jack loves her and adores their daughter. Maybe they should consider counseling together? From the distance, Abby screams as Jen rushes over to her. Lucas also arrives and finds Abby's forehead bleeding. Apparently Will was pushing an empty swing too high out of anger when Abby played with some other kids. Abby said he intentionally wanted to hit her. Will denies it, of course, but Lucas helps Jen carry Abby to the car for the hospital.

At Dimansion
At DiMansion, Colin arrives to see Tony. He starts to tell them about what he overheard Belle and Shawn talking about the twins, when Jack and Lexie loudly come downstairs. She wants him to let his readers know she learned by her mistakes and loves Abe still. Cameron arrives and at the door loudly tells Lexie of course she'll represent her in the divorce suit and make Abe pay for hurting her. She rushes Cameron in to quiet her and introduces Jack and his purpose there. Jack walks into the parlor and hears Colin saying Tony's making a mistake. When asked, Colin tells Jack he was referring to a medical issue which is none of Jack's business. Colin gets paged back to the hospital and can't find his doctor bag. Bart had moved it closer to the door and uses his Australian lingo on him as Colin leaves, then delivers the newspaper to "Mr. Deveraux‰ per his request and heads upstairs. Tony tells Jack that he is in remission, but Colin's going to do a paper on his case.

Nicole is not happy about the new doctor as he tries to get her to walk. Grabbing her side she demands he get Colin there ASAP. (she didn't have any problem moving last week while attacking Sami!) Victor arrives and tells her he fired Colin. Later, back in bed, Victor tells Nicole how Colin's believed to be involved with Stefano. Victor tells her to trust he knows what's best for her and to get strong again so she can come home for their wedding. She tells him that's what she wants more then anything as he leaves. She calls the nurses station and demands they page Dr. Murphy and it's urgent. Colin finally arrives. She insists he be reassigned to her case so they can talk about what they're going to do. He asks what's in it for him. Nicole tells him that she knows the Dimera's own him. He threatens restraints and sedation again as she grabs his tie. He tells her no one controls him and wishes her luck with Sami. Sami's got her where she wants her, chained to Victor for life, a slooow death and that bullet would have been an easier way to die. Nicole throws the flowers at him (ouch, using the arm on the sore side too). He tells her so long beautiful as he stares at the mess on the floor.

Back at Dimansion, Colin returns and Iliana tells him that Jack's in with Tony. He hopes Tony doesn't have an episode while Jack's with him. Jack's cellphone (that he left in the foyer) rings and Colin notes it's Jen's cell number calling. He decides it's one call Jack won't get and after getting paged back to the hospital himself (aren't there any other doctors at Salem U?), pockets Jack's cellphone.

While Tony takes a call, Bart and Jack talk. He tells Bart that Colin's trying to get Tony to fire him. Tony overhears and realizes Colin is right about not trusting Jack.

In another room, Lexie tells Cameron she needs her help, but to get Abe back. Cameron wants to know anything that might be a problem, so Lexie levels about her one time fling with Brandon. Cameron tells her she must make that problem go away.

In her apartment
In her apartment, Sami flips through the Salem Intruder at the various articles. She sees a contest for Sextional Stories. After chewing her out for leaving her door open, Lucas walks in and taunts her about submitting her Las Vegas tape to The Intruder and if he would win. He insists she sign the custody papers or else, when Brandon walks in behind him and grabs him. Sami insists Brandon let Lucas go. He does so, but wants Lucas to leave. Lucas refuses to leave without the signed joint custody papers. Sami agrees to sign them and Brandon gets a call from Lexie. He tells her it's not a good time, but she insists on needing to see him at Salem Place right away. He's honest with Sami about where he's going and asks if she wants him to get Lucas out before leaving, but she tells him she's okay. Lucas goes on about Sami being jealous over Lexie. The two argue as he reminds her how Brandon will feel if he knew she perjured herself about his hitting Will. She grabs the joint custody papers and signs them. Lucas tells Sami to keep her father away from his mother and how he saw them together. Does she want Kate as a mother in law? That did it as Sami tears out of there after he leaves.

Brandon finds both Lexie and Cameron in Salem Place waiting for him. Lexie tells Brandon how she wants Abe back and needs his discretion about their one time affair. If he forgets what happened, she'll finance his own private practice and could do so anonomously if he'd prefer. He asks for her to get Cameron out of there and after she's gone, tells her she's a fool to want Abe back and there's not enough money in the world for him to help her keep him. He tells her to think about someone other then herself for a change and walks away.

Abby is brought into the hospital and asks for her daddy. Maggie leaves to call Jack on Jen's cellphone. Colin returns from his second trip to Dimansion and examines Abby. He determines only a few stitches are needed and he'll use a new technique not requiring a needle to do it. Jen watches as Maggie returns saying she left messages on both Jack's cell and the newspaper office. Jen figures he turned off his phone as he always does while involved in a story, but raves how good Colin is with Abby.

Sami returns home, determined to save her Dad from Kate and Brandon from Lexie. She spots the Sextional Story contest article and the $2,000 prize. Figuring Kate's hooker days would be a winning story for sure and she would have the money to have a great weekend with Brandon.

Back to Nicole's room
We find her dragging her IV around the room and trying to decide what to do about Sami, especially while she's still in the hospital. She decides that checking Sami into the morgue would solve all of her problems and a still of her face in a wicked smile is shown as the credits roll....

Someone put nasty pills in Salem's water as nearly everyone gets into an argument with someone else, while the hospital basement reveals it's secrets. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

AT SALEM U
At Salem U., Belle & Shawn are studying in her room, but Belle is worried cuz she has not heard from her parents. John arrives, much to Belle's relief, but he & Belle argue about her seeing the twins & Marlena. He is on his way to see her & leaves. Belle has a fit, and gets into an argument with Shawn over her obsession with the twins. She throws up his previous obsession with Jan, and tells him they lost something important between them - trust. Shawn gets upset, packs his books & leaves. Later Belle comes downstairs, finds Caprice and cries on her shoulder.Caprice tells her that she may have forgiven Shawn, but no one expects her to forget. And she is going to have to work this out on her own.

 AT THE WESLEYs
At the Wesleys, we see an outside shot of a beautiful home, as inside Craig answers the phone to hear Brady at the other end. Nancy comes rushing up, and both are happy to know Chloe is alright. Brady apologizes for not calling sooner, explaining their cell phones needed charging. Craig is about to tell Chloe about Nancy being pregnant, but she stops him. Chloe is relieved to learn Philip said nothing, and claims to still be in NY, and talks of trying to find an old friend from the orphanage who now lives in NY. Craig & Nancy tell Chloe they love her and miss her and she promises to be home soon.
Craig brings Nancy breakfast and they talk of the baby. Nancy worries it might not be a match, but is so happy to be pregnant w/Craig's baby. He lovingly talks of the coming sonogram, & soothes her worries. She talks of the odds (1 in 4??) of having a miscarriage, or of the baby (1 in 4) not being a match for Chloe. Craig says the number 4 is their lucky number as they will now be a family of four.
Back in Dry Creek, Brady & Chloe return to their campsite, complaining about the news that Sykes is gone, probably back into another identity in the witness protection program (wonder if anyone will find out it was Roman who gave it all away) and their house is up for sale. Brady mentions that at least they know Mrs. Thompson had a son (hmmm, isn't Dr. Thompson the father?). Chloe is depressed, but Brady remembers Isabella talking of "the journey that will bring them home", and assures Chloe they were meant to go on this trip.He comforts Chloe, who wants to go home.

AT THE KIRIAKIS MANSION
At the Kiriakis mansion, Victor returns home, asking Henderson if Philip is up. Henderson assures him Philip knows that his father wants to see him, when Kate barges in, giving Victor a hard time about Titan stealing away the account. Philip comes down, but Vic shoos him back upstairs, til he finishes with Kate. Kate warns him she will not stand for this, but Vic just claims his favorite mantra...."It's just business". Kate leaves, Philip comes down, and Victor lays down the law about Philip missing the lst semester of college. He tells Philip he will not allow him to lay around doing nothing, that his bags are packed and he has until noon to get out. Philip is shocked, but Victor tells him his college education is for him, for his own good, & that he would not get a good job without it. Philip thinks maybe he can work for Titan....Victor says no way. Get his things together and he is on his own. The phone rings, & the hospital informs Victor that Nicole is nowhere to be found.

AT SALEM PLACE
Kate arrives at Java Café, and Philip spots her, coming over to cry on his mommy's shoulder about being thrown out on his ear. He is surprised when Kate agrees with what Victor has done, telling him she lives in a hotel room (doesn't she make enuf money by now to get an apt?), so could not take him in, and that she knows Philip will be able to make it. She tells him she, herself, was in the same position, and she knows Phil can do it, too.
Later Philip spots a distracted Shawn, and gives him his sob story, but Shawn has problems of his own. Shawn tells Phil his own sob story... about his argument with Belle, her obsession over the Gemini twins, how he has an alcoholic for a roommate. Philip leaves, and Shawn debates calling Belle, but decides not to, that this time she has to apologize first.
Philip goes to Belle's room at the dorm, tells her how his father threw him out of the house (wonder where his luggage is?), that his mom won't help him, and so he came to Belle, who seems to be his last friend in the world. They hug. .

THE HOSPITAL BASEMENT
The hospital basement is a whirlwind of activity, as John arrives to confront Agent Spector about seeing Marlena. Spector claims she is just starting a hypnotherapy session, but John could care less. Spector gives him a note from Marlena, but reading it only makes John more determined and he barges past Spector.

Meanwhile, Sami arrives in the morgue, unsure of why Brandon wanted to meet there, but the place seems too creepy, and she turns to leave. A hand reaches out from under a sheet, grabbing her arm, setting off a scream, but ahhhhhh, tis Nicole, welcoming Sami to the morgue. (No IV connected to her now, lol). She pops off the gurney, and shoves Sami into a supply room, where she picks up a jar of formaldehyde. They banter back & forth about Brandon, the tape, the pictures, and before you know it....ding, ding.......the two blonde babes are rolling around on the floor in round two of their ongoing catfight. (They sure do a good job of it) Nik spots a cutout ad that dropped from Sami's purse, about paying for Sexsational stories. She reads what Sami has written on it...Kate - pest....Agrees that Kate is certainly a pest! ROTFL. Then looks closer, seeing it says Kate's past. Sure sounds like a good idea to Nicole. LOL Sami is up first and runs out. Nicole goes after her, but lo, there is Victor, wanting to know what is going on. (he did not see Sami). Nicole claims to have gone for a walk (in the MORGUE!!!) & got lost, as Victor takes her back to her room. He gifts her with a pretty nightie, toasts her with non-alcoholic champagne, telling her of how he closed the deal with Brad Wallace. Nik is delighted to once again put one over on Kate, and Vic talks of their upcoming wedding. Kate is lurking outside the room, vowing they will not best her any longer.

Sami is still wandering the basement corridors, when she hears John's voice. He had just come from seeing Marlena and was telling Spector how devoted Marlena is to her job with the Gemini twins. He sarcastically calls them aliens, talks about the tests on the Gemini twins, wholeheartedly wishing another spaceship would come for them and take the aliens away. This is what Sami hears. Aliens is Salem! Hidden in Salem Hospital. She pulls out her ad cutout, as lightbulbs go off in her head. Boy the Intruder would pay triple for a story like this. A Cheshire cat grin spreads across her face. And the credits roll.

While the teens complain about their problems at Hartley House, John and Colin are busy doing undercover work.

HARTLEY HOUSE
After Belle bought Philip a mystery meat burger in the dorm cafeteria, they return to her room. When he finds out her roommate hasn't arrived yet, he teases her that she and Shawn will make good use of the room. She tells him she didn't come to school for that and wants to know what happened in NYC. He asks if she can keep a secret. She says yes and he tells her how they never made it to NYC. Philip tells Belle everything and she tears into him about how he screwed up. He knows what he did might have been the last hope to save Chloe's life. She tries to assure him that Brady and Chloe will keep going until they find her father. She tells him to think positive and as he puts himself down saying the president should declare him a disaster area, she tells him the president has better things to do as he gets insulted, saying he thought she was his last true friend. She leaves to get her art history book that she left downstairs before it disappears. Assuring him that everything will be okay, she takes off. He whips out his cell and calls Marie and asks for her help. Later he calls Nico for a loan too, but both were given orders by Victor not to oblige (guess he didn't want to bother his sister and brother?)

 Belle returns and tells him he can spend the night. Cynthia overhears from the hall and wonders what Shawn would think about that.

Down in the common room, we found Shawn and his study partner, Mimi comfy on a couch as she gets a headache just reading calculus. She marvels at how Belle and Kevin aced it in high school, but Shawn's not really listening and admits having a fight earlier with Belle. He tells her about Belle's obsession with the twins. The two jest about their own form of intelligence and he tells Mimi she has funny bone intelligence. She tells him he has body intelligence as can walk and chew gum at the same time. She figures Belle will be okay after she finds out the twins are okay. He tells her Jan was another sore point and Mimi reminds him Jan's in Europe (uh oh, will SHE be Belle's mystery roommate?). He's angry about spending the whole summer babysitting the twins and now Belle is still obsessed with them. Cynthia overhears and asks if he's having problems with his girlfriend. She offers to have a latte and talk with him if he needs. She joins a couple other female students and they refer to Mimi as that "sow‰ that caused the problems for her at the senior prom and did her piggy friends help. (I'd kill for a body like Mimi's myself). Mimi notes that that witch (Cynthia) is already forming a new coven (LOL) as Belle comes downstairs for her book. S&B make eye contact.

Privately Belle tells Mimi she's going up to study and that Philip is in her room. She tells Mimi not to tell Shawn that Philip is up in her room as he would just feel more justified in how much she cares about her friends. Cynthia follows Belle up the stairs. Shawn asks Mimi if Belle's still mad at him and she nods. She tells herself that maybe Cynthia is right and Hartley House is Heartbreak House.

DEVERAUX HOME
Jack arrives, explaining he just got the message about Abby. Jen tells him what happened and after explaining he misplaced his cell (while investigating Colin), she gets mad about never finding him when he's really needed. He gets so angry with himself she apologizes as he promises to never let it happen again. He hugs her and as they sit on the couch, was glad Maggie and Lucas were there for her and Abby. He asks if Dr. James treated Abby and she tells him, no, it was Colin and he's a good doctor. He comments Lexie is a good doctor too, but she's not trustworthy either. It's obvious he's worried about her and Colin while she's worried about his living at Dimansion. Jen admits Colin gave her a reason to trust him and is not suspicious of him now (but doesn't tell him why). Later he comes down from seeing Abby and heads back to Tony's. Jen can tell he's upset about her and Colin, but he's gracious about it and warns her to be careful. She tells him she'll let Abby know he came by. Alone, Jen leans on Abby's balloon, wondering who to trust as the balloon breaks and startles her.

DIMANSION
Colin arrives for the upteenth time that day to Tony's. He replaces Jack's cellphone on the foyer table and goes in to see Tony. Tony is upset Colin doesn't know more about what's happening at the hospital (he's been too busy driving between the hospital and DiMansion Tony). They argue as Tony's furious about not knowing what's going on and demands that John Black can not win. Colin assures him he'll find out more tomorrow and is concerned about Tony's health. No, Tony has a mission for him tonight. Colin's left and Tony looks at a book "G is for Gemini‰.

HOSPITAL BASEMENT
Cassie and Rex get shots from a technician. He comes out of their room to have John ranting about needing to see Marlena. John joins the twins and they call him Belle's dad. Cassie asks if he and Marlena are married and he gives them the "that's a fact‰ answer. He has his own questions for them. He asks the twins about Stefano Dimera, but before they answer, the tech returns to inform him that Marlena's conference will run late. He doesn't want to leave a message and will talk to Marlena on their cellphones later. The twins remember him unlocking their bracelets and ask him not leave and tell him they'll answer his questions. They want to see Belle and Shawn at school, but John tells him that's not possible and picks up one of their bracelets. Cassie doesn't want to wear it anymore and John tells them they won't have to. He's looking for clues as to where they came from. They talk about their Phoenix tattoos and John pulls down his shirt to show him his own phoenix tattoo. He asked what else happened that night and they tell him about kissing Shawn and Belle. The tech asks John to leave, saying it's past the twins bedtime. They say goodnight to Belle's father as John leaves. Outside John wonders what Stefano was planning on doing with those poor kids. (guess Cassie decided on not mentioning going after Belle with the saw in the garage to him, haha) Cassie and Rex miss Belle and Shawn and figure Belle will help them escape. John's cellphone rings and the tech assures him it's okay to answer it down there. It's Tony, wanting to see him and Marlena about the Gemini Project. Not telling him Marlena's busy, John tells him he'll be right there. He walks off to the elevator while we see the tech talking to the guard. He tells the tech that security's going to nightshift and he'll need his card as no one will be guarding the door. Colin rounds the corner afterward, eyeing the lab door. Later we see him put a wire across the basement steps and the tech trips and falls down the stairs (OUCH). Colin chloroforms him and drags him into a closet after taking the tech's security card. He puts a towel over the camera in the hallway. With his trusty flashlight he sees he can climb up a pipe of some sort to the ceiling, but knocks the towel off the camera onto the floor unknowingly. The guard returns to "area 51‰ LOL and spots the towel and calls in a breach in security. Inside Colin fixes the camera to show only the empty room and takes digi pix of the room. He peeks into Cassie and Rex's room and sees them sleeping. The guard walks in and tells him to hold it right there. Colin pretends like he's suppose to be there and tells the guard he shouldn't be in there as he'll wake their patients. The guard apologizes and leaves!! (after seeing the towel, shouldn't he check for ID?) Colin uses the tech's key, goes into C&R's room and takes pix of them sleeping. The flashing has Cassie dreaming about Belle and Shwn rescuing them. Colin goes to their computer and types something in as he whips a floppy out of the drive. Cassie is still having a nightmare of flashing lights, needles and doctors coming after her. Rex wakes up and finds Colin standing over him and tells him to get away from Cassie. Later we see the twins both sleeping (huh?) as Colin sees their phoenix tattoos on their wrists.

BACK TO DIMANSION
John arrives saying Marlena was busy in her office. He didn't come to talk about Marlena though. Tony tells John he discovered something about the Gemini twins in his research about his father. The pillow got him curious and he opens a book about the real Gemini twins and how they were suppose to enjoy the gift of life by bringing balance between darkness and light. Tony realizes his father's gifts upset everyone. He wants to bring balance and light by offering a peace offering. He tells John that he and Marlena are the keys to his success by knowing which charities need underwriting. Is Marlena working on a new project that he could underwrite? John tells him there is as Tony smiles. John tells him Marlena's got a couple needy cases at the hospital, but reluctant to say anything w/o Marlena's permission. He leaves to go see Marlena at the hospital. Tony tried to stall him by offering him a drink, but calls and alerts Colin that John's on his way. Colin puts a note on the tech's pocket after dragging him back to the bottom of the stairs. He waves something under his nose to wake him up. He had just passed by (oh sure) and heard the guy fall and wants to help him.

 John passes Jack on the way into the mansion and learns why Jack's there. He tells Jack everything old is new again and to be careful.

Jack walks in smiling, announcing he's back. He finds his cell on the table. Alone in the parlor, Tony tells himself that as soon as he uncovers the truth, no one will be able to stop him. He salutes Stefano's urn and toasts the NEW house of Dimera and laughs as the credits roll...

Summary:
Brady and Chloe celebrate her birthday...as Nancy has her first prenatal appointment. In Salem, the story of the Gemini twins hits the papers (thanks to Sami)...as Cassie and Rex plan their escape.

In the Hospital Basement...
Agent Spector checks in on the twins. They tell him about a man being there and how he knows a lot about them. Spector questions them but Cassie tells him it is Belle's father. They talk about not having a family and how John doesn't trust them. They claim that they are telling the truth and all that they know. They are tired of being studied and want to leave. They ask him about Stefano DiMera, who they claim to have no knowledge. They promise that they are not bad. They want to go and see Marlena, but are told that they can't. After Spector leaves, Rex is on the internet, learning about U.S. history. He reads parts of the Declaration of Independence to Cassie and they wonder why they don't have the rights mentioned there. They can't understand why they are being held prisoner and can't have the freedom mentioned there. They wonder if Belle and Shawn would help them get out. They decide to turn to Marlena to help them and if she won't...then they will attempt an escape.

Upstairs...
Sami is on the phone with the Intruder talking about the contest. Brandon walks up and she has to cut it short. He tells her that if Brenda catches her on a personal call, she will be in trouble (he didn't hear it). She tells him that she is planning an "out of this world" surprise for him. He tries to guess what it is, but she tells him to just trust her (big mistake). Brandon gets angry when he sees him and demands to know why he is there. He tells him he is there for an x-ray and Sami backs up his story. Craig and Nancy come by and Craig is also angered by his presence. Again, Sami lies and tells Craig that he is there for an appointment. Nancy reminds Craig that they are running late and they leave. Sami wants to know where her money is, but he tells her that she will get it when the story hits the stands. After he leaves, Brandon comes back and drags her out on to the terrace. He tries to guess what her secret is and thinks she is planning a romantic picnic or something. As they kiss, Sami looks in the window and sees the reporter holding up a copy of the Intruder, with the alien story on the cover and she gives him the "thumbs up".

Craig and Nancy are both excited talking about the baby and he reminds her that they have a long journey ahead. After their encounter with Sami, they are next seen returning from their doctor's visit. Nancy is a bit worried about the amnio test. But is excited that they will learn at that time if the baby is a match for Chloe. He pulls out a gift for Nancy. She opens it to find a silver tree with 2 heart frames hanging from it. One has Chloe's picture as a baby and the other is empty and tells her that is where their new baby will go. She is touched by it and talks about how it shows how their 2 hearts will be intertwined. He tells her that he has so many hopes and dreams for their baby and saving Chloe is only one of them.

Meanwhile over at DiMansion...
Colin arrives for the umpteeth time, only to be greeted by Bart who has plenty of insults for him. Colin barges on past, telling Tony to call off his dog (LOL). Tony dismisses Bart as Colin begins to fill Tony in on all that he has learned. He tells him that he hit the "bloody jackpot" as Tony is intrigued. Colin tells him about the twins in the basement and everything he found out. He tells him that he hacked into their files and learned everything there is to know, including their strange arrival in Salem. Tony realizes that John knew more than he was letting on and was only baiting him with the name "Gemini Project" to see if Tony would react. Tony wonders what Stefano was up to as he talks to the mighty urn on the mantel. He wants to see the twins, but Colin tells him it is impossible...he was lucky. But he has the next best thing and whips out photos of them. Tony is pleased, but wants more...he wants them under HIS control and vows that will happen. Colin tries to discourage him, but Tony won't take no for an answer. Bart comes in holding up a copy of the intruder. They wonder how the story has gotten out.

In Dry Creek...
Chloe awakens to the sound of Brady singing "Happy Birthday". Outside the tent, she finds him with a twinkie with 2 candles in it. He tells her that there is one for this year and one to grow on. He tells her that Craig mentioned her birthday and she fears that Nancy has a huge party planned or something. She tells him she likes things low-key, like Brady. He tries to cheer her up as she is afraid that this birthday may very well be her last. She feels that she will be going home to die. He tries to reassure her that they will find a donor and promises to celebrate all her future birthdays with her. She thanks him for everything as they share the twinkie. As they talk, she tells him about feeling bad about hurting Philip, for her DOES care about her, and how he made her feel so special. But Brady says that Philip wanted to be the one to save her and how he lives in a fairy tale and has problems with reality. She dreads running into him in Salem. Brady tells her that Philip had reason to be jealous. As they prepare to leave, he tells her that he believes they have a connection. He would never admit it before, but he has had feelings for her for a long time, but didn't want to add to her problems. She says that it is so easy to be with him and that she had realized it as well. He has a birthday gift for her...tickets to the Metropolitan Opera for this year and the three years after. She doesn't understand how he did all this in such a sort time. He tells her that he bought them for her while she was undergoing chemo to cheer her up. She is touched and thanks him with a kiss on the lips. They continue to kiss...as the credits roll.
