Episode #: 9372
Directed by: Mary Madeiras
Tape Date: 7/23/02
Summary:
Dot Com seems to be THE place to be today...Philip, Chloe, Jack,
Jenn, Abby, Marlena and Colin all end up there interacting. Brady
follows his mother's advice and pays a visit to Roman. Brandon and
Lexie do the NASTY, but Abe is on to them.
DiMansion...
There is a replay of Tony's cryptic dream (just in case you missed
it) where he is dressed in white and hears the voice about Marlena
turning the key. As he mumbles (in real time) Colin is there and
overhears him. It seems that Eliana found him out of it and called
Colin. Colin brings him to as Tony describes his dreams. Colin
suggests that he get therapy or hypnosis. He tells him about
Marlena's refusal and asks Colin to try and talk to Marlena and
change her mind. He then dismisses Colin and he leaves.
At Dot Com...
Marlena selects a book on Dissociative Disorders from the shelf. Jack, Jenn and Abby are all there enjoying ice cream (as Jack goofs off). Marlena spots them and stops to talk. Jack and Jenn ask about the book, but she says it's just for research. Abby spots Chloe and Philip and rushes off to say hi.
Philip has been trying to convince Chloe to go off with him on a trip. He begins naming exotic places and it starts sounding pretty good to her. He tells her to stay put and he will be right back and rushes off. Abby comes over to see Chloe and calls her turban "cool", saying it makes her look like a genie with wishes. Jack, Jenn and Marlena come over as well as Abby is talking about how she was sick and had a transplant as well. Jack and Jenn take Abby as Marlena sits down to chat with Chloe. They talk about the scene at Brady's place earlier as Chloe explains that she feels that Brady treats her differently now. She talks about how comfortable Philip makes her feel and Marlena agrees that Brady isn't one to sugar-coat things. But she assures her that Brady is on her side and he too believes that she has a full life ahead of her and he does care about her as well. Marlena assures her that both guys care about her in their own ways. Philip returns with a cannoli from Café Fiernze as Marlena gets paged and excuses herself. Philip asks Chloe what happened as she tells him about her visit with Abby and says she isn't so sure she will get the transplant she needs. She gets the feeling that Philip wants to take her away and show her things that perhaps she will never get to see otherwise. He assures her that is not the case. She talks about Cassie and Rex and how that got her thinking how it would be cool to live in an alternate reality...one where she wasn't sick. As she eats her cannoli (gee that made me hungry) Colin comes by and Philip asks him if there is any reason Chloe couldn't go on a trip. He says as long as she feels up to it and is able to get medical assistance if needed, he sees no reason. They ask him not to tell Craig and Nancy about this. Later, she tells Philip that she accepts his offer and will go with him where ever he wants to go.
Colin walks over to the books and picks up one of the same books Marlena got as he spots Jenn, Jack and Abby. He heads over their way and Jack gets really nervous. Abby says I remember YOU from Africa. Jack takes Abby over to look at books as Jenn notices the book Colin has. He begins to talk about blood disorders in Salem and brings up Abby's illness, practically blaming Jack. He asks her if Chloe's illness brings back painful memories. Jack comes back with Abby and practically chases Colin away. She tells him about Colin questioning her about Tract 5 and that she is letting Colin believe she still holds it against Jack. He thinks she is, but she assures him that she forgave him a long time ago. She tells him about the book and they rush over to the book section and find one more copy of the same book. As Jenn flips through it, they come to the conclusion that perhaps Marlena and Colin are both are perhaps treating someone with that condition...Tony DiMera.
Over at Brady's Loft...
Everyone is gone (another foodless dinner?) and he is playing with
the snow globe. Isabella appears telling him to follow Marlena's
advice and go see Roman. He is skeptical, but will give it a try.
Later, he shows up at the cop shop and talks to Roman about Sykes.
Roman says that he can't help him, it would compromise the witness
protection program. Brady begs for his help, but Roman turns him
down. An upset Brady leaves, slamming the door in his wake. He
returns home, furious with his mom, but she isn't there.
At Salem University Hospital...
Marlena goes to her office and is looking at the book when the door
slams, startling her. She turns to find Tony. It seems that he is the
one who paged her. He tells her that he had another episode and it
concerns her. He tells her that Colin overheard him saying that
Marlena must unlock his dreams. He asks her to reconsider helping
him, but she talks about Stefano's gifts and how she feels that he is
carrying on Stefano's plans. She does not trust him and refuses
again. He asks if he could share with her what he learns and she says
sure...fine. After he is gone, she is using her recorder, saying that
she wants a record of what he tells her. She says that since she has
refused to be his doctor, she is no longer bound by the
patient/doctor confidentiality and can tell John everything. In the
hallway, Tony calls Colin and tells him that he has Marlena where he
wants her.
At the Cop Shop...
Abe tries to call Lexie, but she doesn't answer. She is BUSY with
Brandon ;-) Roman and Abe talk and Abe is afraid he has made a
mistake. He tells him what Celeste said and feels that he should give
Lexie another chance to explain. He is afraid that she will do
something rash. He tries to call her again, but she ignores the
incessant ringing. Lexie pulls away from Brandon (having second
thoughts?) , but then dives back in for more. He picks her up and
carries her off to the bedroom (dropping her scarf along the way). As
they kiss, she stops him (noticing the room) and asks him if this was
all for Sami. He tells her that Sami is history and they go back at
it. They get it on with lots of kissing and lots of skin showing and
lots of slow motion camera work. (Even if you don't like Brandon and
Lexie together, their scenes are pretty steamy). As they bask in the
afterglow, there is a loud banging at Brandon's door and we hear Abe
yelling for him. Lexie panics and begs Brandon not to tell him she is
there. Brandon goes to the door and asks what his problem is as Lexie
hides and listens. Brandon invites him in to search and Abe sees the
mess. Brandon tells him that Sami was to come over but cancelled.
(LOL as Abe says "good for Sami"). As Brandon goes to the other room,
Abe sees the scarf and realizes that it is Lexie's. He takes it and
leaves. Back at the police station, Abe pulls out the scarf, sure
that she was there. Back at Brandon's, they are dressed now and Lexie
is telling him that what they did was wrong...it never happened. He
reminds her that Abe is divorcing her, but she says that she still
loves him. (NOT what Brandon wanted to hear). After she leaves,
Brandon says that he planned on using her against Abe at one time,
but he got side-tracked...NO MORE. He says that Abe doesn't deserve
Lexie just like he didn't deserve his mother. This time, he will NOT
be the one that wins...as the credits roll.

Episode No: 9373
Directed by: Roger Inman
Tape Date: 7/23/02 (same as Monday's)
Plans for an interesting night in Salem are being made, Bo helps Jen realize her true feelings and Sami's back in action.
SAMI
Sami (her hair up, wearing her glasses and same red dress) flashes
back to the good, bad and ugly moments from the previous day's
events. She needs a plan to get Brandon back as someone pounds on her
door. Any guesses? Bingo! And he's NOT happy (hopefully he doesn't
need another apartment to trash). He wants to know why she changed
her mind as she tells him she does loves him and starts crying. He
refuses to leave without an answer. Victor's warning about keeping
quiet runs through her brain as he assumes her obsession with Austin
is still the problem. He throws something off the table (uh oh) and
mentions being with Lexie the night before. Remembering Lexie's offer
to be there for him and flashbacks of their close encounter followed
by her request that they keep what happened quiet, he changes the
subject. Telling Sami he won't believe her again and heads out,
running into Billie in the doorway. She was responding to a
disturbance call and asks if Sami's ok. Sami assures her she is and
begs Billie not to file a report about the call as Brandon and Billie
both wonder about the strange request. She insults both of them and
tells them to get out. She wants them and Nicole out of her life! She
is determined that Nicole and Victor aren't going to do this to her.
Brandon wonders why Sami brought up Nicole when she threw them
out.
JAVA Café
Jen is reading the clinical book she purchased at dotCom as Jack
joins her. She confesses to feeling like she's got many of the
psychological problems described in the book, including paranoia
(LOL). He tells her she needs to take a break from work and flashes 3
tickets for the touring company of Annie. Jen's excited as Abby's
been singing Tomorrow since she returned from drama camp. She
hugs him and tells him he's such a good dad. Colin rounds the corner
and observes the hug (although he doesn't know why). Jen apologizes
to Jack for the hug, saying she shouldn't be doing that in a public
place if she's pretending to romance Colin. Even if he's not there,
other people are. Colin angrily walks away, knowing Jennifer still
loves Jack. Jack leaves, hurt by Jen's rejection. Bo joins Jen and
she tells him she made a huge mistake by hiring Jack. She figures
Jack still loves her and it's hard to work with him without giving
him mixed messages. She confides in Bo how smart and fun Jack is and
he smiles, telling her she still loves Jack. She tells Bo she's just
like a news story to Jack. After he gets what he wants, he'll move
on. She's envious of his and Hope's relationship and all they've
overcome to be together. He reminds her how he almost didn't get a
second chance with Hope after he didn't believe it was her and
married Billie. Fortunately Hope took him back. He had to trust she
would come back to him and she did. Jen worries that Jack will leave
her and Abby again and Bo suggests Jack might be able to help her get
past that fear. She deserves to be loved. She thanks him and he won't
leave until he knows she's ok. She assures him she is and he kisses
the top of her head goodbye. Jen calls the newspaper office for Jack
and surprised he's not there (why not call HIS cell?)
NICOLE'S APARTMENT
Nicole and Victor celebrated their bringing Sami down all
night, and now she's ready to celebrate again as she learns that
Titan stole another one of Kate's accounts. She lets Victor know
she's got something (in a ring box) for him, but he doesn't want it
to be for the power he's wielding over Sami. She suggests giving it
to him that night over dinner at PHG over champagne and caviar. He
agrees and tells her to pamper herself that day as she deserves it
and heads out. She opens the box and we see a HUGE diamond ring. She
tells herself she doesn't love Victor, but the life he offers is
right for her.
Knock knock, Victor's back. She opens the door and he reminds her that if she marries him she's his for life and the terms she must agree to. He snaps a handcuff on each of their wrists as she wakes up from her nightmare on the couch, haha. Another knock at the door and she figures it's Victor again. Nope, it's Colin. She rants at him about how he's treated her, but he explains she's been the only one honest with him. He wants her to lose herself with him saying they both need it. A little kiss has her hastily agreeing, but she pulls away and flashes her engagement ring in the box, worth over $1,000,000. She tells him after she's married Victor she won't need anyone else and Victor loves her. He tells her she'll only be Victor's toy and tries to convince her to be with him. Even while hearing Victor's warning in her head, she drops the ring and falls on the couch in Colin's arms. Later, Nicole puts her robe on as Colin mentions they both needed that. She asks they keep this their secret. She lets him out the door and Sami rounds the corner (now in a black dress and ponytails) to see Colin leaving.
Changed into her blue halter top and slacks, Nicole finds the ring box under the couch. Victor calls, hoping she's pampering herself and anxious for their night together. She tells him she's getting ready for their night, but is obviously stressed as she talks. He picks that up as she rushes him off the phone when someone knocks on her door. She hides the ring in a drawer and opens the door to Brandon. He wants to know what she said to Samantha!
Victor books the honeymoon suite at the Salem Inn (wonder if it's next door to Kate's room?) as Roman overhears. He'd like to congratulate Vic, but wishes him good luck instead saying Nicole's trouble. When Roman gets a key for his own room, Victor asks if he and Kate have a romantic evening planned too, reminding him about the elevator incident. Roman tells him they were trapped due to a power failure, but Victor mentions Kate's lipstick all over his face afterwards. Roman knows Victor is having Kate tailed and suggests he do the same with Nicole.
COP SHOP
Billie over hears Roman's end of a phone conversation with the
commissioner. The commissioner is not happy with the protocol being
broken in the drug bust. Roman strongly disagrees with the
commissioner's decision, but will relay his orders. Billie scoots
back to the desk as Roman heads out, telling Bo (who just arrived)
and Billie he needs to talk with them upon his return. Bo asks Billie
if she knows what's up and Billie feels she's being tossed off the
force. She tells him she overheard Roman's conversation and what she
gathered from it. He explains protocol takes time to understand and
offers to call the commissioner and explain, but she refuses his
offer. It meant a lot to her that he feels she's a good cop. He
leaves to do something and she goes into Abe's office to make a call
on her cell. She tells whomever it is what's going on and she's going
to fight it. She's not leaving the precinct or Bo.
Back from Sami's (quick trip), Billie and Jack are talking as he's anxious for a story on the drug bust. She doesn't want her involvement publicized, but suggests they go out together and he gets hysterical, thinking she's kidding. When he realizes she wasn't, he explains how he dated another woman and ended up hurting two women he cared about. She tells him they're friends and why can't they go out,.who knows what will happen? He agrees.
LATER....
Sami confronts Colin about what he was doing with Nicole in Salem Place.
Jack helps Billie get 16 cups of coffee to take into the station (guess their coffee isn't very good?) and suggests they go to a movie that night. She agrees and hugs him as Jen watches from nearby.
Back at the cop shop, Roman tells Bo he's sorry and he tried to talk the commissioner out of it, but hands Bo a key to the Salem Inn and says he (Bo) and Billie are spending the night together there (sorry Jack, I think your movie date was just cancelled)...as the credits roll...

Episode #9374
Taped 7/24/02
Director - Phil Sogard**1/2
In the aftermath of Salem's version of Sex In the City, Bo balks at an assignment, Sami is hot on the trail, Brandon questions Nicole, and Abe faces off with Lexie.
AT OUR FAVORITE SHOPPING PLAZA, SALEM PLACE
At our favorite shopping plaza, Salem Place, Sami continues to
interrogate Colin (hmm, maybe she should join Salem's finest, lol)
about what he was doing at Nicole's. Convinced he & Nik were hot
& heavy (you're right there, Sami, as Colin has a flashback of
his horizontal tango w/Nik) they trade insults about Austin &
Elizabeth dumping them both in Vegas. Sami figures Colin has been
sleeping w/Nik, which at first he denies then admits to having an
affair. However, the affair is a hospital fundraiser, & Colin
claims only to have been seeing Nicole about some publicity. (Boy, if
there is a big fundraiser, I hope it is an excuse for some Days
actors to be able to exhibit their other talents!! We can only hope.)
Colin brings up Sami's liaison w/Tony, and guesses he is helping Sami
rope in Brandon. They banter back and forth, & Colin leaves, but
when alone, stops with a determined look on his face.
OVER AT NICOLE'S APT.
Brandon is questioning Nicole about Sami, and of course Nik nearly
slips up, but covers nicely. Brandon tells her of Sami canceling out,
& Nik pretends to be sorry for him. She says Sami is a flake, a
user and a liar (the pot again calls the kettle black) & Brandon
is better off w/o her. Brandon agrees, saying it was for the best,
& his life now will be very different. He goes out on the
balcony, Nicole follows with 2 glasses of iced tea. He says they
should not have secrets from each other (Oh, yeah, right...they both
are not telling theirs, lol) and that it is the two of us against the
world. Nicole tells Brandon of her pending engagement, and he tells
her not to sell herself that way. He goes on how Victor is just a
bankroll version of their old man, abusive and controling, &
mentions the $5 million Nicole has stashed in the bank and her 6
figure salary, saying she doesn't need Vic. Nicole goes on about how
she wants more, and with Victor's bad ticker, she'll be rich beyond
her dreams. Nicole says she is accepting the ring tonight, and they
both agree to disagree about how they handle their private lives.
Brandon leaves, as Nicole tells herself, "Finally, Sami is
history."
AT THE CARVER FRONT DOOR
At he Carver front door, Lexie is fumbling with her keys, and
finally opens the door and goes into the living room. A surprised Abe
comes out of the kitchen, asking what she is doing there. Lexie
claims to be looking to reconcile (as she remembers her passionate
encounter w/Brandon, and we get treated to some very heavy breathing.
Sorry, this scene did nothing for me whatsoever, even the lst time).
When Abe asks where she went last night when she left, Lexie at first
claims to have gone home, but then launches into a big scenario about
a walk, a visit to the health club, into the sauna, phone in locker,
etc. etc. Abe shows her the scarf, telling her he found it at
Brandon's. Lexie admits having gone there for only a few minutes, but
claims Brandon was expecting Sami, and she left. (What a smooth liar
she is). Abe mentions Stefano, and wonders how many other crimes
Lexie is covering up. Lexie retorts her father is dead and please
have some respect. Abe repeats how important honesty is, and that
Lexie lies, cheats and blames everyone else. Lexie throws up Abe
sleeping with Fay, then defends her friendship with Brandon to a
shocked Abe. She proudly claims to be a DiMera, but Abe says HIS wife
was generous and kind, and he wants HER back, but she no longer
exists. He firmly tells Lexie he is suing for divorce, and she should
leave. She does (think maybe you should get that lock changed, Abe??)
and he sadly murmurs, "Goodbye, Lexie".
UH, OH AT THE COP SHOP
Uh, oh at the Cop Shop, as Bo & Billie get the news they
are to spend the night together. Bo refuses, saying he is not
spending the night at a hotel with anyone but his wife. (yay, Bo).
Roman explains there is a Master hit man gonna surface, a master of
disguises. They have word from CIA, ISA, and Interpol, that a
contract is out on someone, but they don't know who yet. The orders
are coming from the Commissioner. They want a couple, supposedly
living the high life, at the Salem Inn. (since when is the Salem Inn
the scene of the the veddy, veddy rich?) Billie is eager, but Bo is
very reluctant and he refuses. Roman insists, then leaves to meet
with the Commissioner. Billie pressures Bo, who tells her his family
comes lst always, talks of Hope and absolutely refuses to take on
this assignment.
Roman comes back with the shocking news that the victim is to be
Victor Kiriakis. That Stefano put out the contract on Victor, because
he gave Bo the location of Stef's secret airfield when Lexie was
attempting to abscond from the country with Zack. (If this is not the
lamest......o.k. I will shut up) Because it is his father, Bo now
agrees to help. Roman insists he not tell Hope, the assignment is
super secret. Bo argues the point, but eventually agrees. He leaves
to take a call from Hope, while Billie calls Jack to break their
date.
Hope tells Bo the good news. While they were all at the hospital for
JT's surgery, Barb went into labor, very short (lucky gal!) and had a
boy. JT came thru with flying colors, and Hope asks Bo if it will be
all right if she stays a while longer. With Barb just delivering, she
feels she should help out for a while, since JT is so comfortable
with her. Bo agrees, claiming he is putting in such long hours
anyway. (ah, so that is how he gets all that time off...lol).
Abe comes in, looking upset, and explains to Bo & Roman about
Lexie's visit. He goes into his office, calls Mickey and tells him to
go ahead with the divorce.
LATER......
Sami arrives at Nicole's apt., grinning like the proverbial Cheshire
Cat as she claims to be ready to tell Vic all about Colin. Nik fakes
her out, trying to shut the door in her face when the phone rings.
Tis Colin telling her to watch her back, Sami is on the prowl, and
giving her the "hospital fundraiser" excuse he used. Nik pretends it
is Victor on the phone, hangs up and plays along with this farce to
Sami, who is not buying it for a second.
Meanwhile, at Salem Place, Brandon runs into a distraught Lexie, who tells him of Abe throwing her out. She explains that Abe found her scarf (while Brandon flashes back to how he picked it up off the floor, putting it on the stool, so Abe WOULD see it) & Brandon claims it is all for the better. He promises not to tell anyone of their little fling, and that he will be there for her as she goes thru the divorce. They hug. (Boy, you can see Brandon's brain cells working here.....Lexie doesn't know what she is letting herself in for).
Billie comes out of a lingerie store, and looks inside the bag with a smile of satisfaction, saying "that hit man came along at just the right time" . The camera pulls back and there is our man with the cracking knuckles, watching Billie, as he once more does his snap, crackle and pop impression. And the credits roll.

Episode No.: 9375
Directed by: Randy Robbins
Tape Date: 7/25/02
A show full of surprises, answers and flashbacks (lots of flashbacks). Philip tells Chloe where he decided to take her as Belle and Shawn try to make sense of Cassie's drawing. John and Brady apparently forgot about Basic Black as they also seek answers.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK
Philip arrives to find Chloe on the front porch reading. He's decided
where they'll go on their trip. She doesn't want to guess where
they're going and he tells her to pack shoes as they're going to do a
lot of walking. Victor wasn't happy about their leaving the country,
so he decided on taking her to NYC to take in the scenery and
broadway shows as he doesn't have to report to Columbia for a week.
Chloe smiles up, apparently excited about the idea, but Nancy joins
them on the porch and says NO. Philip and Chloe try to assure Nancy
it's okay. Chloe reminds Nancy about their cancelled trip to NYC due
to her illness and she really wants to go. Craig walks in and
surprises all of them by saying he thinks the trip would be good for
Chloe. Philip assures Nancy that he's booked 2 rooms in a first class
Manhattan hotel while Chloe tells Nancy this will give her a chance
to see Julliard. Craig tells Nancy he can send a copy of Chloe's file
to a colleague in NYC too. Chloe promises to check in every hour if
that will make Nancy happy. Nancy agrees and smiling, says she'll
hold Chloe to that hourly check in. They ask Philip to give them 10
minutes alone with Chloe and he agrees to meet her at Java
Café. They have a present for her and Nancy holds out a round
box...Chloe opens it and is surprised. She pulls out a realistic wig
that was modeled using Chloe's own hair that Nancy took from her
brush. Craig tells Chloe that Nancy ordered it as soon as they knew
it would be needed. Chloe asks Nancy to help her try it on. The wig
isn't as full as Chloe's own hair and has bangs, but is beautiful on
her. Nancy looks at her daughter, flashing back to the first time she
saw her in the orphanage. She tells Chloe, when asked, what she was
thinking about and Chloe smiles, saying she doesn't know what else to
say, but thank you Mom. The two hug as Nancy closes her
eyes in happiness.
Later their detective arrives and tells them about Dr. Sykes testifying against a drug lord and disappeared. Nancy panics, thinking Dr. Sykes is wearing cement shoes. After the detective is gone, Craig and Nancy hug after he tells her they'll find a way to save Chloe.
BRADY'S ON A MISSION
Brady remembers Roman's telling him he can't tell him who Chloe's
father is as it might cost her father his life. IssyB tells him to
talk to Roman again, but Brady knows he'd be wasting his breath. He
explains why and she tells him he has to take a journey with Chloe.
He asks where and she tells him to see Roman. Brady gets frustrated
and rushes out of the loft with his mother telling him not to give
up.
ROMAN'S (er, ABE'S) OFFICE AT THE COP SHOP
John arrives to see Roman (who has taken over Abe's office) and
worried that something's going down with respects to Tony. Roman
tells him something IS going down, maybe tonight (so much for that
top secret undercover operation that Bo couldn't even tell Hope in
Iowa about!). Roman tells John everything, telling him it's a secret,
but doesn't want him to do anything (oh paleez Roman..you know that
doesn't work). John flashes the blue key at Roman, saying what
happens tonight will be the tip of the iceberg. He tells Roman he'll
do what he has to do and heads out.
HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Belle and Shawn are strolling with Rex and Cassie in Salem Place.
They turn to talk for a minute about when to turn the twins over to
the authorities while the twins are clowning in Ballistic's window at
their reflection. Of course the twins quickly disappear and help
themselves to food off a vendor's cart. Salem PD is on the spot, but
Shawn let's them know he's Bo's son and talks them out of taking
Cassie and Rex in. They convince them that C&R are foreign
exchange students and didn't know better (stealing's ok in Europe?)
as Rex and Cassie say or repeat appropriate foreign and movie
phrases. The two officers tell Belle and Shawn to make sure it
doesn't happen again (darn, was hoping these hide and seek scenes
would be over and they'd get arrested) At Java Café, B&S
feed R&C (who will be 300 lbs by the time Belle agrees to turn
them in). Belle wants to figure out what the mysterious drawing means
and Shawn says they'll just catch the next space shuttle to their
planet, but they aren't rich like that singer from Nsync to do that
(isn't John Black that rich?). They go up to the place where they
originally found Rex and Cassie and the twins lie on the ground
staring up. A loud rumbling noise is heard, but it's only a plane
flying over. They have a full loooooong flashback of everything that
happened July 4th evening in that location and how they found,
rescued, gave CPR, etc. with the duo. Back to real time, they tell
the couple to get up.
LATER.........
Belle wonders if the key might have gone over the cliff when the spaceship blew up and Shawn tells her that he and Rex will climb down to look. Rex heads to the cliff and his foot slips on the edge. Shawn grabs him and pulls him back up. He leads Rex to an easier way as Belle watches nervously and pulls the drawing out again to look at as Cassie sees it, looking scared. Finding nothing, the guys return hot and sweaty. Belle spots something shiny in a tree and Shawn climbs up to investigate. He tosses it down and Rex catches it. It's a key exactly like the one John has. Cassie and Rex hold it as they stare at it as Shawn and Belle realize they found the one in the picture.
Brady and John run into each other at Salem Place (who's running Basic Black nowadays or are they on summer vacation?) John coaches his son to have faith and live each day as best he can. John feels that Isabella is looking over them every single day and Brady, knowing that's true, smiles and tells his dad that helped. He runs into Chloe and Philip and after telling Chloe she looks nice (in the wig after she asks his opinion), she starts to tell him where she and Philip are going. Philip cuts her off, saying they're going shopping and leads her off. Later he explains why he didn't tell Brady and tells her they're going to have a blast and go shopping for the right clothes to wear in Ballistics. They buy out Ballistics for their trip and he fingers her necklace saying P&C forever.
Brady returns to see Roman (who's very comfortable in Abe's office) as Isabella watches over their talk. Roman repeats what he said the day before, but pulls out a folder out of Abe's desk and taps it as he says it (to me that looks like a clue), but Brady rants and storms for the door as Roman calls him back. He tells Brady he can't give him the answers he needs, he'll have to find them himself, tapping the folder again. He excuses himself to do something, but warns Brady he wants everything to be the way it way before he left and leaves. Brady opens the file and starts writing information down. Issy smiles and disappears. Later Roman returns asking Brady why he's still there. Tucking the paper in his pocket, Brady tells him he was just on his way out and heads out. Roman calls his name and tells him to be careful out there (ah, Roman must have been a Hill Street Blues fan too ;-)
John sits on a bench and stares at the key as he has a flashback of stealing the key and his conversation with Tony about The Gemini Project. He wonders if there's any connection to the Gemini constellation and that key. Feeling it's the only way he can protect his family and friends, John is determined to find out what the key is for as the credits roll....

Episode No.: 9376
Directed by: Herb Stein
Tape Date: Various
Summary:
Bo and Billie go undercover...We learn a bit about Rex and
Cassie's childhood...Philip and Chloe prepare to leave as she has
second thoughts...Belle finds herself in danger...as do Nicole and
Sami. Really good show, IMO. Fast paced and exciting, with a final
act that is quite action-packed. Excellent Friday cliff hanger
episode!
At the Wesley Place...
Chloe is getting ready for her trip when Philip calls and they
discuss it. She tells him that Craig and Nancy have gone down the
hospital to fax her records to a doctor in NY but he assures her that
she will be fine. There is a knock at the door and it's Brady. She is
quite cold with him, telling she is busy as he notices the suitcase.
He questions her, thinking she is going back to the hospital. He
tries to explain that he cares about her and wants her to get better.
She finally tells him about her trip with Philip and he says she is
living in denial. Brady begins to slam Philip as she defends him. She
gets upset and tells him to leave. He refuses as he tries to explain
what is going on and both end up in tears. He tells her that he has
hope for her and is leaving town to find her father. He tells her
about Craig and Nancy hiring the private detective and why. He tells
her of his own search and how he has a lead. She questions him
further and he tells her her father's name and about the witness
protection program. She is overwhelmed and almost faints but later
wants to know everything he knows. She wants to know how he knows all
this, but he can't tell her. He tells her that he is leaving to find
her father, but she stops him and tells him that she is going with
him. Meanwhile, Philip mills around Salem Place the entire show.
First he talks with his father (see below) then later, he runs into
Shawn (again, see below). In the final scenes, he is at the jewelry
store, purchasing Chloe a diamond hairclip, then calls her to see if
she is ready. He gets the answering machine, telling her that he
hopes she is ready...he is on his way over.
In the Brady Garage...
Shawn and Belle return Cassie and Rex to the garage as Cassie mumbles
about danger...very bad...and code blue. Shawn is freaking out and
wants to go and turn them in, but Belle pleads with him not to. As
they kiss, Cassie watches. Shawn doesn't want to protect them any
more and reminds her what protecting Jan cost them. As they question
Cassie, she says jeopardy...code blue. She begins to have flashbacks
of their childhood. They are small children, dressed in white, in a
white room (not unlike the one we have seen in Marlena & Tony's
dreams). There is a garbled voice (I had to use the CC to understand
it) telling them "Goodnight, sleep tight...don't let the bed bugs
bite". The person leaves the room, locking them in with the blue key.
Cassie cries and pounds on the door as Rex calms her. Back in real
time, the same is going on. But they are unable to find the words to
tell Shawn and Belle. Shawn has had enough and leaves to go and find
his dad and tell him all. Cassie tries to follow him, but Belle stops
her, pulling out the key, asking what it is for. She freaks out
again. Belle asks what the key unlocks and Rex shows her a hamster
cage. Cassie says that Belle is a "bed bug...Belle bites" (ROFLMAO!)
As Rex looks for their I (heart) Salem bag, Cassie eyes a circular
power saw. With tears streaming down her face, she turns it on and
goes after Belle.
Over at Nicole's Apartment...
She is getting ready for her evening when there is a knock at the
door. She thinks it's Colin (coming back for seconds perhaps?), but
it's Victor. Sami is lurking in the hallway listening (Victor leaves
the door partially open). Victor asks what was going on when he
called before and Nicole hung up on him. She has flashbacks of her
tryst with Colin. She talks her way out of it as Sami eavesdrops.
Victor gets a call from Bo, who needs to talk with him immediately
and tells him to meet him at Salem Place. He briefly explains about
the hit on him (over the phone???) so Victor rushes out, telling
Nicole that the date is off without explanation.
After Victor leaves, Sami struts in, leading Nicole to think that she put a bug in Victor's ear about her affair with Colin. Nicole tries to throw her out, but a determined Sami refuses to leave and rubs it in and taunts her. Sami doesn't buy the story about the fund raiser and wants to make a bargain...Brandon for Victor. She tells Nicole that if she backs of concerning Brandon, she won't tell Victor about Colin. Sami has some flashbacks of her hot evening on the rooftop with Brandon and pushes Nicole to go along. Sami says that if she doesn't, she will end up slinging hash right alongside her mother at the diner. That does it as Sami pushes her too far and she explodes. They argue as Nicole reminds her that Victor still has the tape of Sami admitting to lying in court about Lucas (insert flashback here). Nicole throws on her sleazy silver dress (with her red skivvies underneath) and storms out to find Victor, with Sami right on her heels.
The Stakeout...
At the Jave Café, Roman and Billie go over final details. She
tells him that before the night is over, she plans on having Bo in
bed! She wasn't serious, but tells Roman that is what HE is thinking.
She asks him if he is jealous and as a flustered Roman reminds her
that he is her boss. She assures him that she is not after Bo and all
will be professional and nothing will go wrong. Bo and Victor meet to
go over the plan. Even though Victor has booked a room, Bo tells him
to stay away from the Salem Inn. Victor refuses to back down and
informs Bo that he will be there as scheduled. (Hey, I just noticed
that Bo has an earring. Has that always been there, or is it just for
the undercover operation?) After Bo leaves, Philip sees him and asks
what is wrong. Victor refuses to tell him...only telling him to have
a good time on his trip and that he loves him.
Later, Shawn (looking for Bo) runs into Roman. Roman tells him that he is undercover and can't be reached. Shawn keeps calling Bo and leaving him messages. Shawn runs into Philip who is excited about his trip. Noticing that Shawn is distracted, asks him what is wrong. He tells him that it concerns Cassie and Rex and needs to talk to Bo. Philip tells him that he saw him headed into the Salem Inn earlier, so Shawn heads that way.
Roman gets a call and in turn calls Bo and tells him that the hit man is in Salem. Bo and Billie are at the Salem Inn (Billie in a sexy white dress and Bo in sunglasses with slicked-down hair). A stubborn Victor also arrives and checks in at the front desk. Bo and Billie spot two guys, one who is lurking in the shadows and one with a briefcase. Shawn comes in and sees Bo and Billie sitting on the sofa in the lobby kissing and storms out. On his way out, he passes Sami and Nicole arguing at the entrance. The two guys separate inside, with Bo telling Billie to follow the briefcase. Sami and Nicole storm in arguing the whole time and confront Victor. Bo sees the other guy pull out a gun and yells for everyone to get out of the way as he pulls his own gun. As Sami hits the floor, she shoves Nicole into Victor's arms and the gun fires. Fade to black as the credits roll.
