Salem Hospital deals with the aftermath of the meteor showers, the capsule couple come to, and Billie Reed is on a mission.

AT THE BRADY HOME
At the Brady home, Bo gets a call to go to the site of the meteor crater, and investigate the accident. He is told about all the people at the hospital now. Hope is worried, but Bo assures her all is o.k. She later gets a phone call from Shawn, but he has hung up b/4 she answers, and tho she tries many times to call him back, there is no answer. When Bo returns, she tells him, and he asks if she called Belle, & Hope says her phone doesn't answer either. Bo assures her that Shawn is just with his girlfriend, and they are fine, nothing to worry about.

SALEM HOSPITAL
Salem Hospital is bustling. So many people are coming in, claiming to have suffered some sort of consequences from the meteor showers. Philip comes in, but Craig stops him, saying Chloe has had enough visitors today, and tho Philip just wants to be sure she is o.k., Craig assures him that last time he looked she was sleeping. The accident victim is brought in and directed to cubicle 3. Philip spots her, and cannot believe his eyes. He goes into the cubicle, and sure enough, it is Billie. She tells him not to tell anyone who she is, that it is a matter of life and death, and she has to get out of there. As Colin is shining lights into Billie's staring eyes, he says he is ordering tests for her. A police officer brings the victim's briefcase to Nurse Brenda, who tells him to just put it down. Philip grabs it and takes off just as Bo arrives. Bo wants to talk to the Dr. taking care of the accident victim, and finds it is Colin. Neither is friendly to the other as Colin brings Bo into the examining cubicle. Surprise.....she is gone!

In Chloe's room, Brady is looking out the window, then sits next to Chloe, as they talk of dying. Chloe wonders what it is like, and Brady tells her that it happens to everyone at some point in time. But to live now, in this moment. She mentions that today was to have been her audition date, but that it does not bother her. She doesn't think about being that great opera singer, only that music comforts her. Brady tells her that as a kid, he used to think that all the songs possible were already written, & that he did not realize all the notes that were still to come. Chloe replies that there are probably a million notes up in the sky, waiting to fall on them. She hears Craig, & tells Brady to hide, as Craig would have a fit if he knew Brady was there after hours again.
Craig comes in, and we see Brady under the bed. He spots his wallet near Craig's foot, and slowly reaches for it, but Craig moves his foot, right onto Brady's fingers. (The "owwwww" expression on Brady's face is priceless, as he tries to stop from yelling). Chloe asks Craig for a glass of water, thank goodness, so poor Brady's fingers are at last released. (wonder why Craig never felt anything under his shoe?LOL) She says she is tired, Craig leaves, and Brady comes out. When Chloe asks how his fingers are, he says he will never play the accordian again. ROTFL. He starts to leave, but Chloe asks him to stay, saying she is afraid if she goes to sleep, she may not ever wake up.

The detective approaches Craig, saying he has a lead on Dr. Sykes. He has found his sister in New York City, at 242 Central Park West. Craig tells him to get on airplane in morning, to GO, and spare no expense. But find Dr. Sykes.

Jen approaches Colin, for some info on the accident victim, but he gives her a hard time, saying she has refused to even give him the time of day in the past. They have words, and Colin tells her she is hiding her feelings for him (no conceit in this guy). Meanwhile Jack tries to tag along with Bo, seeing what he can find out. Later Jack & Jen compare notes, talking of all the different things people are claiming, and making references to X-files Scully & Mulder & David Duchovny (never watched that show, so bear with me) as they giggle over aliens & space ships. (they should only know), but agree they are a responsible paper, and don't print outlandish stuff. (just wait, J&J - lol)

Philip returns to the hospital, sneaking over to Chloe's room, but when he opens the door, is NOT pleased at all when he sees Brady laying next to a sleeping Chloe on the bed. (I think Brady is sleeping, too).

AT SALEM INN
At Salem Inn, Kate is awakened by knock at door, surprised to find Philip. He steps aside to reveal Bille. Kate is delighted to see her, but Billie is evasive to all questions. She says she was on her way to Green Mountain for some down time, before she appeared in Salem, but the accident happened. Kate wants to call Lucas, since he is leaving in the morning, but Billie says no, she'll see him when he returns. Kate asks just how long are you planning on staying, but again Billie is evasive, saying only, who knows. Philip leaves, and Kate tells Billie to stay w/her. Learning Billie's luggage was shipped to the Lodge, she goes to get something for Billie to sleep in. Billie immediately calls someone, saying "I'm here, and don't worry. Bo Brady won't know a thing til I'm ready".

UP AT LOOKOUT POINT (at least that is where I think they are), a replay of the oyster capsule opening again, revealing the sleeping male and female. As sparks fly up around the capsule, and little explosions rock them, Belle notes they have these large glowing bracelets. Shawn pulls both people out away from the capsule, and in a few seconds, a big explosion! Oops.....no more capsule. It has evaporated. ( Gee, now wasn't that totally unexpected? am giggling here! lol) . LOL Belle notes the lights on the bracelets are fading. (ET, where are you?) Both people are wearing these sort of swim suit outfits made of aluminum bubble wrap. Shawn says don't touch them, and tries to call home. (see above). Now why would Belle listen to Shawn, as she puts her finger on the male's neck, (looking for a pulse) commenting he feels cold. Shawn sees her, hangs up, and rushes over. She is upset the two people are not breathing, (well, if they are aliens, how would you know what gives them life?) so says they should give them CPR. She starts CPR on the guy, Shawn the gal, (his phone drops to the ground nearby) and both come to, smiling as their eyes first see a blurry view, which then clears up, of their rescuers. The male reaches up, putting his hand on Belle's neck, she screams and rushes into Shawn's arm in one direction, as both the male and female scream, jump up and the two couples huddle together, looking scared, as they stare at one another.
The couple run off into the bushes, but Shawn & Belle cannot find them, and return to the clearing. Suddenly Belle spots the aluminum foil shining thru the bushes, (jeez, folks!!) and they realize the couple has returned and wonder why. Shawn goes over to check, Belle shouts a warning, the couple rush out, knocking Shawn down, and as Belle is right behind him, she falls, too, appearing to hit her head on a rock. (Again?) And the credits roll.

TUESDAY, JULY 9, 2002***

It's a new day in Salem (finally!) as there are plenty of flashbacks to update everyone about the close encounter. Lexie prepares for court while Chloe's support group make plans to keep her spirits up.

CHLOE'S ROOM
As we see the front of University Medical Center, a surprised Brady wakes up snuggled next to Chloe in her hospital bed (man, those nurses were in every few minutes when I was in the hospital, how did they get away with that?). It takes him a long time to wake Chloe up, but when she does, she can't believe he spent the night and thanks him. She tells him how weak she is. Nancy joins them and he tells Nancy he just stopped by on his way to work. He leaves them alone as Chloe thanks him for everything.

Chloe and Nancy solemnly talk about what will happen if they can't find a bone marrow match. Nancy tries to encourage Chloe and assures Chloe it's okay to be scared and encourages her to talk with her about it. She warns her daughter that she'll be positive and encouraging to her, but promises to understand as well. A teary Chloe now appreciates the life she had. Nancy promises Chloe that she'll be home soon and hugs her.

Philip is down in the alley smashing boxes after seeing Brady in Chloe's room. He vows not to let Brady take Chloe away from him. He approaches Chloe's hospital room door and sees Philip coming out with shoes in hand. He pulls Brady down to the alley and is ready to fight him. Brady reminds Philip that they were supposed to be united in this help for Chloe and how weak she is. He tells him how Chloe was afraid to fall asleep alone and that's why he stayed with her. He can't believe Philip would think they would do anything with Chloe so weak. Philip apologizes and promises not to be jealous anymore (yeah, right..) and Chloe's getting better is all that matters.

A nurse asks Nancy for a few minutes to examine Chloe and Nancy steps out to find Philip and Brady back in the hall. She asks Brady why he was still there and they tell her how they're joining forces to help Chloe. Nancy thanks them and mentions how cold the hospital room is and how Chloe misses her own room. Brady has an idea and Nancy smiles. He says they need to break some hospital rules to do what he has planned and Nancy says she has pull and knows the COS intimately as the trio are glad to do something for Chloe to lift her spirits.

COP SHOP
Roman shows the newspaper to Abe, who goes straight from the front page to the article on Lexie. He's worried she'll go over the edge if she has to go to jail. Later, while alone, he flashes back on his last discussion with Lexie about their relationship. Roman returns and they talk about Brandon. Abe knows Brandon's got a personal vendetta against him and will use Lexie to do that.

SAMI
Sami calls the hospital from her apartment and Larry tells her Brandon took the day off. She gets the newspaper outside her door and reads the banner about the meteor light show the night before and inside the article about Lexie being sentenced today, knowing why Brandon took the day off.

SALEM INN
Lexie gets ready for court and is wearing a sleeveless white blouse (with the collar up) and her hair up. Room service delivers breakfast that she says she didn't order..but Brandon holds out a red rose saying he did. When asked, she tells him Celeste was up at 5 a.m. and is downstairs in the gym working off some steam before court. A little pity party as she wonders if she'll eat gourmet breakfast one day and oatmeal in jail the next. He hand feeds her cherries and they come close to kissing as the police knock on her door. An officer arrives to escort Lexie to the courthouse an hour early, before the reporters show up, saying he was ordered to do so. Lexie lashes at him and threatens to call Abe and tell him off, but the officer panics a little, saying he's just following orders and backs off after Brandon tells him to leave. In the hall, the officer tells Sami he tried, but it didn't work as inside Brandon comforts Lexie. Sami chastises the officer for not doing what she asked. He responds he was only trying to do a favor for her being Roman's kid, but could have lost his badge if Lexie had called Abe. Big deal she says, and he calls her an ungrateful brat while leaving and loud enough for Brandon to hear and open the door. He figured she'd be behind this and is fed up with her games. Lexie needs him today and he tells Sami to grow up and move on. He returns to find Lexie calling Abe and upset he's not there. Brandon hangs up the phone.

BRADY HOME
John and Marlena arrive in a panic looking for Belle. Bo answers the door and Hope joins them, saying Shawn never came home either. John is throwing a major tude as the other 3 parents trust their kids and figure the meteor shower was so overwhelming to them. John returns and didn't find the kids in any of the usual places. Hope asks Bo to call the station again, but Belle and Shawn walk in. After seeing their dirty clothes, John asks Shawn where they've been and what they've been doing. The parents question the teens who explain they tried to call, but their cellphones fell and broke. Belle tells them that Caprice was right and something happened where they'll never be the same. John thinks the obvious, but they explain how they went to a higher vantage point to watch the showers and tell them about the spaceship and giving mouth to mouth to aliens. Bo calls Roman and asks if any calls about spaceships came in. Roman tells them the switchboard is lit up with calls. Bo tells Roman the gal who was hit by the meteor disappeared. John asks the teens if they had been drinking and they both deny it.

AREA 51-SALEM STYLE
Shawn and Belle rehash what happened the night before. He looks tired, but she looks pretty darn fresh for a long night and having been unconscious, haha. They recollect coming to (that girl needs a helmet, I swear!) and the couple were gone. Could they have been aliens they ponder? Shawn touches the ground where the space ship landed and they have flashbacks of what happened (for those of you who missed it the first time). Belle wonders why they came to Salem and more flashbacks of when the aliens woke up and the eventual chase. Shawn wonders how they're going to explain this to their parents.

Later, after they leave Bo's house, John and Bo show up at lookout point. They find the area in question taped off and step over the tape where Agent Spector from the government (note the X-File's type eerie music, haha) checking out the area (so much for evidence). John and Agent Spector glare at each other briefly. The Agent tells them they think there was a landing there. He's just been debriefed by NASA scientists about the fragments found there and around Salem. Bo and John are glad their kids weren't hurt.

BACK TO THE BRADY'S
Bo rushes off to the station and tells John to come with him. Marlena continues the questioning and they tell her about the streak in the sky and what happened afterward. Belle wants to find the couple that disappeared and wonders what they should do to find them. Marlena and Hope try to get the kids to stay home and rest first, but they refuse and take off. The suit clad knuckle cracker who had beening watching through the window, hides behind the fence while the teens leave (don't Bo and Hope's neighbors find that a little strange?) as the credits roll....

Lexie is sentenced, the teens surprise Chloe, and we see exteriors of a couple more Salem buildings, and realize Salem is a much larger city than we first thought.

THE BRADY HOME......
Exterior shot of the huge Brady house (I find it hard to buy this, as the front yard is extensive, and this house is supposed to back up to the canal) Hope & Marlena are making small talk over the experiences of Belle & Shawn, laughing at the idea of spaceships and aliens. Bo & John return, with the stories of more meterorites hitting Salem, and the reports of many people claiming to have seen aliens. Both Marlena & Hope have a hard time explaining about Belle & Shawn running back out to search for the "aliens" without eating, sleeping or changing clothes (me, too). They all laugh, and decide that Shawn & Belle probably were somewhat dazed, came upon some couple making out, who were perhaps unconscious after being hit by meteor rocks, thus had to do CPR....then the couple were so embarrassed, they ran off. They all laugh, then get serious as they decide to go to Lexie's sentencing.

AT THE CRASH SITE
At the crash site, Shawn & Belle are surprised to see the area roped off, and spot Abe, who tells them about the government agents, and why they are there. He tells them the agents will want to question them, since they were up there and witnesses. Shawn quickly tells Belle not to mention the spaceship or aliens, and manufactures a story they can tell. (Guess honest Shawn has had a lot of practice with lies since his alliance with Jan - he never learns, does he?) Abe brings over Agent Specter (If they ever remake Dragnet, this guy would make a good Joe Friday, lol). Belle & Shawn stick to the story they made up, having a flashback to the oyster shell opening up, when asked if they had noticed anything unusual. Shawn tries to find out why the government is interested, and wonders if any strange phenomena was noticed. The agent laughs at the teens being so interested in sci-fi stuff, and Belle says, aren't we all. Her phone rings, it is Brady, wanting her and Shawn to come right away, as Chloe needs them. They both leave.

AT THE HOSPITAL - exterior view of Salem University Hospital (in big letters) as we see Craig checking out a sleeping Chloe. Nancy comes in, Chloe wakes up, and a nurse brings in huge bouquet of flowers. Everyone assumes they are from Philip, but it turns out Cecelia Marin sent them, along with a lovely encouraging note, and says she is looking forward to seeing Chloe at school. Chloe is delighted.
Out in the hall, Brady & Philip are happy their plan is a "GO", as Mimi & Kevin arrive to help. They all go off, as Brady again tries to get hold of Belle, finally succeeding. (see above). Philip & Brady barge into Chloe's room, telling her she is going on a trip, and bringing in her transportation (wheelchair). They take her down the hall, have her close her eyes, as they open the door to another room. They wheel her in.....and there are Shawn, Belle (both are cleaned up and in different clothes), Mimi, & Kevin yelling "Surprise", as Chloe looks around, realizing this is "her room from home". - bed, pictures, chairs, etc. & as Belle laughingly proclaims.....even Sugar & Honey, as she & Shawn hold two stuffed toy poodles. Chloe wants to know whose idea it was, Nancy says Brady & Philip, but Brady says it was the stuffed pink pig. LOL. Chloe is very happy.
As Nancy is packing up the rest of Chloe's things from her old room, Craig tells her the good news. The detective they hired has found Dr. Sykes' sister in New York, and is going there. They soon will find out where Dr. Sykes is, and if he has any other children. Nancy tells Craig she always has hoped Sykes was dead...but now she so wants him to be alive.
Later, Belle & Shawn decide to tell their best friends about what happened to them at Lookout Point. Especially since John will probably tell Brady, as he tells him everything (he does??) Everyone finds it hard to believe, but Brady says he would not scoff, as he has had some unusual things happen to him. He knows they are real, real to him.

THE COURTHOUSE -Another exterior view, this time of the Salem Courthouse, as inside Lexie & Brandon arrive. As Cameron Reese comes in, Lexie tells her, in no uncertain terms, to do as she was told, make the calls. Reese is not pleased, but goes to do so. Brandon wants to know what that is all about, but Lexie won't say. Celeste walks in, (looking absolutely beautiful, with a great big black picture hat.....that lady sure can wear hats well!). She is followed in by John, & Bo, while Marlena & Hope slip in and take seats. (Love how well Kristian's pregnancy is being hidden via the camera work). Bo & John make a few comments to each other, then Abe walks in, and sits next to Celeste. Lexie ignores him.
All rise, as the judge enters, and announces this is not a trial, but a sentencing, as Lexie has pleaded guilty to all charges. It is mentioned the Doctor could not be there, but sent a written statement. Then asks if anyone wishes to make a statement. "Yes, I would" comes from Tony, in the doorway (I thought doors were always closed and bailiffs stationed outside them, but then again this is Salem....different strokes for different folks, lol). Tony makes an impassioned statement, citing Lexie as an exemplary citizen, former cop, devoted wife and loving mother (quick, the barf bag) etc. etc. Then Hope comes forward, talking of how Lexie had been her best friend, they had raised their boys together, and talks of the trauma she & her family have endured, and makes an emotional plea to the judge to consider the best interests of the child.
Next the prosecuting attorney recites the facts of the case - how Lexie had knowingly kept the fact she had another woman's child a secret, had tried to flee the country with forged European documents, had ignored a court order to not leave Salem, and was guilty of kidnapping, a crime unto itself. Cameron Reese agrees that all these facts are true, but there is one more - that Lexie was also a victim. She honestly had thought she was bringing home her own son. The one she legally adopted. She loved and raised that child for two years. Then Lexie gets up, saying that she is trying, with the help of her mother, brother and one friend (pointedly not mentioning her husband), says she is ready to accept her punishment, and asks to be judged on herself and her life, and not that she was born a DiMera. (give me a break!) The judge leaves the room, and there is a short recess. John confronts Tony (puleeze, John!) and wants to take it outside. Marlena's cooler head prevails, as she convinces John this is neither the time nor place. Lexie is nasty to Hope, and still ignoring Abe.
The judge returns, and pronounces sentence. 2 years probation with 3000 hours of community service at the Salem Free Clinic (wonder how much of that she will serve, lol), plus 1 year of psychiatric counseling by a court approved doctor. In addition, Lexie must have no contact with Beauregard Isaac Theo Brady until the Brady family deems it o.k. This will be strictly enforced. The Blacks and Bradys are not happy with these results, but Lexie is ecstatic. She turns and thanks her family and Brandon, and hugs all around. Abe again is ignored, and sadly leaves the room. (Reynolds expressions say it all, kudos!)

At the hospital, as Craig and Nancy are about to leave Chloe's old room, a nurse appears, saying there is a man who insists on seeing Craig. Tis a process server, and as Craig reads the papers with which he has been served, he realizes and is appalled to learn that Lexie is suing the hospital over the baby switch.

Back in the courtroom, Brandon hugs Lexie, saying "You're free now, it's over". Over his shoulder, Lexie looks straight at Bo, Hope, John & Marlena as she thinks "No, it's not. It won't be over until all of them have paid". And the credits roll

Evening comes quickly in Salem town as the hospital cafeteria and Tuscany are the popular spots in town for encounters of all kinds (except alien of course). Jack and Jen share more honest moments as they talk about Colin.

THE SPECTATOR
Jen and Abby are talking on the phone. Jack offers to wrap up the paper for the night so Jen can go home to Abby. (he just overheard her talking to Abby on the phone who's wondering when she'll see her mommy again). Jen shows Jack how their computer network now enables her to access all the newspaper's hard drives from her own unit. Not realizing this is possible; Jack panics as Jen finds a file he didn't want her to see called MURPHY.DOC. He tries to cover, but finally agrees it's about Colin and she should read it. After doing so, Jack talks about how even the top cops act strangely around Colin and that must spark her curiosity. He feels it's obvious that Colin turned her head, especially since she doesn't love him anymore. Shocked, Jen asks "WHAT"?. He tells her how Colin told him about her saying she didn't love him (Jack) anymore in Africa. She tells Jack she never said that in those words as Jack tries to rationalize how she does feel. She asks why Jack doesn't get other's opinions of Colin and he asks for hers. Jack asks Jen why Colin came to Salem and maybe he has plans for her. Jack is angry, as he knows Colin hurt Jen and it's personal to him because of that. He knows he hurt her too and wants to make up for it. She asks to be alone and he storms out, saying he knows Colin is bad for her and if she won't let him prove it (being his boss), he quits and leaves.

SALEM UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER
Craig tells Brenda he doesn't care how many tapes they have to go through, he wants the one with Isaac and JT found. (why is the head nurse doing this, don't they have a security manager there?)

Colin tells Craig about seeing Chloe's new VIP suite, but Craig's mind is on the lawsuit. Colin tells Craig he doesn't think Lexie has a good case and not to worry. Having her lunch while watching for Brandon to return after court, Sami is surprised to see Tony and Lexie (yeah, hardly would expect them to celebrate their victory in the cafeteria, haha). Sami tells Lexie she thought she'd be in jail, but Lexie tells her there's only one jailbird there. Tony just reads the newspaper, LOL. Sami confronts Lexie about why they're celebrating there too, haha, but Craig takes over and vents at Lexie about having the nerve to show her face there in lieu of the lawsuit. He asks Sami to give him some privacy with Lexie and Sami reluctantly agrees, telling "Tiger" to let Lexie have it (all you hospital employees treat your COS like that, right ??) He starts to give it to Lexie, but she tells him to shut up and listen. She raves loudly how she's going to expose him for what he is and everything he did to her friends Mike and Carrie to be in charge. She warns him he's going to be both unemployed and lose his license when she's done with him and if anyone deserves to have something bad happen to him, it's him. He gives it back to her that he's not afraid of the Dimera name and she's in for trouble too.

Tony takes this opportunity to visit with Colin at a table, but Sami asks to speak to Tony alone. Now finished with Craig, Lexie orders Sami to stay away from her brother. Sami informs Lexie that she and Tony are almost related. he's her sister's stepfather after all. Lexie reminds Sami how much trouble she has caused Carrie as Craig interrupts and they all bicker (too much to get here). Craig mentions the lawsuit that Lexie has filed against the hospital, which surprises Tony. Tony tells Craig he's sorry to hear about his stepdaughter's illness and when asked how he knew, says a nurse told him as he looks discreetly at Colin.

Tony asks to speak privately to Lexie and alone, asks her why she didn't tell him about the lawsuit. He doesn't agree with her doing this as she tries to convince him she's just in what she's doing. He tells her they're just getting over the loss of their father and it's time to heal and embrace what they have that's good in their life. She sees Craig and Sami talking and watching her.

Colin takes Tony into his office to examine him. Tony tells Colin he's trying to get things under control, including Alexandra. Tony is agitated, insisting he's fine, but goes into another blank stare while Colin's examining him (hope this man isn't driving!!!). Tony continues to be in a trance but manages to barely say Mar-len-a.

Later Sami and Lexie argue about Brandon and Tony. Lexie tells Sami how much dirt she's got on her. She knows that Sami came to her hotel room to catch her and Brandon and reminds her what happened the last time her family members crossed a Dimera. Sami leaves, picturing Lexie and Brandon, saying "Ick", she's so wrong and bad for Brandon. She knows she has to work with a Dimera to prove it though.

Mickey meets with Craig and comments how strange it is that they're on the same side for once. Mickey explains how much the hospital means to his family and they feel he did nothing wrong.

TUSCANY
Nicole received a note to meet someone at Tuscany at 8 pm. Sitting at the bar, she takes the time to call Austin in NYC. He's away at a meeting, so she leaves an angry message about needing to talk with him before a meeting the next day. After hanging up she spots Victor sitting at a table watching her. Judging by her glum expression, Victor asks if she's disappointed it was him. They talk about what happened the night before and his love for her. She asks what kind of love is it when he wants to control her. He asks if she blames him for Austin's move to NYC and Colin's moving on. He tells her they understand each other and she wonders if he believes he's the only one that can give her what she needs.

 Maggie greets Marlena and John and congratulates them on their belated anniversary. Before seating them at the best table in the house, she reminds them about how Tony's reappearance into Salem disrupted their other anniversary party and their jolly mood sours. They agree to forget all the Dimeras this evening, but Marlena tells John all she wants for their anniversary is for him to forget everything in the past. She wonders if this vendetta will be passed on to Brady and Belle's generation, but he asks that she just trust him. She reminds him how Tony use to be different and was a good stepfather to Carrie at one time. Perhaps he acted the way he did because of his illness. John realizes how upset she is about this and she asks if he'll drop the vendetta. All she ever wants is for him to be safe and he promises her that. She thanks him for letting this all be over (I think all he did was promise to be safe) and hugs him. Maggie delivers Marlena's anniversary gift to John and he finds a black leather briefcase. She tells him leather is the traditional 3rd anniversary gift and it's time to retire the old beaten up cop case he's using now. Maggie then brings a cake with 3 candles and softly sings "Happy Anniversary" to them and leaves. (nice how John's not nasty to Maggie any more) Victor watches all this nearby and tells Nicole how lucky Marlena and John are. Marlena's husband is not only rich and powerful, he loves her deeply (yeah, and he's not old enough to be her grandfather either) Nicole figures she doesn't deserve to love? She excuses herself and Victor wishes John and Marlena a happy anniversary. They talk about their friendly competition between Bella and Basic Black and Victor steps away. John and Marlena dance as Victor watches, apparently envious of their relationship. Later John gives Marlena a beautiful charm bracelet. One charm for each year..the sun (for her goodness) the moon (for being his anchor) and the stars (because she always shows him the way), sealed with a kiss. Nicole finally returns and Victor acknowledges how long she's been gone. She agrees to leave with him, but to her turf and her terms. He follows..

Marlena goes to call Belle to make sure she's okay (her cell doesn't get good reception inside the restaurant, so she goes to call by the front door) and John promises to keep all of their children safe. She asks from what? He reminds her there is evil in the world, not just from the Dimeras and the Phoenix is dead. Alone, he pulls out the blue key he found in Tony's desk and regrets breaking Marlena's trust, but he vows to keep his family safe and it's not over as the credits roll....

LOTS going on today in Salem...Jack and Bo decide to join forces to bring down Colin as Jennifer unknowingly puts herself in danger...Shawn and Belle find the aliens (or is it the aliens find them?)...We discover there is more to Tony and Colin than meets the eye...Someone in disguise is watching Bo and Hope...and Tony pays a visit to Marlena.

Basic Black...
The Salem exterior shots continue today as first up we see the Basic Black building (a tall modern, mirrored office building). Inside, Kate is on the phone with Billie (who lies and tells her she is at the spa at Green Mountain). She asks Kate to promise not to tell anyone she is back. When they end their conversation. Some guy comes in yells at Billie. Back at Basic Black, John comes in mumbling to himself something about liars. Kate offers her help as John explains that he lied to Marlena concerning leaving Tony alone. He goes on to rant about Tony's lies as Kate has a suggestion. John talks about how Tony is trying to make nice with everyone and Kate suggests that he play along, pretending to trust Tony and give him the benefit of the doubt. It's the old adage...keep you friends close and your enemies even closer. She urges John to stick close to Tony, that will be the only way to get to him.

Meanwhile, we see Billie (dressed in sweats) rush into a dark office. She pulls out a gun, saying "it's time".

Searching for Aliens...
Hope and Marlena meet up at Salem Place, worried about their kids. They decide to go searching for them. Meanwhile, at Lookout Point, Shawn and Belle are holding a vigil. The "alien" kids return (dressed in gold and silver) accompanied by two older "aliens" dressed the same. The boy kisses Belle as the two men grab her and she screams 'We're being abducted!' She wakes up (yes, she was dreaming THIS time) and tells Shawn she dreamed that they came back to get them. They hear a rustling in the woods and jump. But it's just their moms, coming to find them. They invite them to join them for breakfast as Marlena and Hope joke around about their alien search. Seeing that they won't be taken seriously, Shawn and Belle pretend that they have given up on the search and have come to the conclusion that perhaps they have imagined the whole episode. The moms continue to joke about it, asking questions like "did they have 4 heads?" Marlena and Hope want them to go with them to breakfast, but they claim that they have to meet up with Mimi and the other kids about the marrow drive, so Marlena and Hope leave, relieved that they have given up on the silly idea of aliens. After they are gone, both feel guilty about lying to their moms, but decide it is for the best. Shawn starts having doubts himself and suggests that MAYBE they did imagine the whole thing, but Belle is adamant about it as she has flashbacks of the "landing" (just in case you missed it the first few times ;-) They hear a noise in the back of the truck and discover a raccoon. Belle can't get it off her mind, so Shawn says he must do a mind sweep and kisses her. They pile in the truck to head back to town, but we see 2 sets of eyes peering out from under the tarp as they drive away. (Yes, it's the Return of the Alien Teens from Outer Space! ;-)

At University Hospital...
Colin is still with a trance-like Tony as he mumbles "Marlena". Colin finally gets him to come to (tells him he was out for about 8 hours). He is very concerned about these trances as Tony comes clean and tells him that it is happening more and more and he has lost count of the number times. Colin claims to be his "friend" and vows to help him regain his father's power. (He makes a statement here that Lexie is held together by spit and glue since she lost her baby and Tony needs to remain strong). Colin wants the truth as Tony tells him his story about since the time he came out of his coma in Switzerland. He remembers that there was a cross on the wall in the place he was held. He says there were lots of nurses and doctors and that he escaped and went to Paris, where he learned of Kristen's death. He talks about having blackouts and losing large chunks of time. (lots of stuff here) He talks about learning of Andre setting up John for murder and how he found Stefano in an auto accident and about him wanting to give him the secret to his past...and his future. He tells Colin about the key Stefano gave him, but not really knowing what it means, for Stefano was dying and he couldn't understand what he was saying at the time. About this time, Jennifer shows up in the hallway. Tony goes on to tell Colin that before he could discover what the key meant, John Black broke in and stole it (hmmm....he sure does trust Colin a LOT). By now, Jennifer is listening at the door and hears Colin tell Tony that "we're in this together". Colin sees the door move and goes over to catch Jennifer trying to sneak away. He demands to know what she is up to, but she plays dumb, claiming that she is there to apologize for her behavior the night before. He apologizes for snapping and goes on to tell her of Tony's strange symptoms (well, so much for doctor/patient confidentiality) and how familiar he is with the rare blood disease. After she leaves, he is very suspicious of her. He returns to the exam room to find it empty...Tony is gone. He wanders into the hall, talking to himself (of course) saying he is not finished with Tony and wondering where he is. Jennifer is around the corner, listening open-mouthed. Later, she sneaks into the exam room and paws through Tony's file. Colin sees her and wonders what to do about her.

Meanwhile, Marlena returns to her office to find Tony sitting there waiting on her. She isn't too thrilled to see him, demanding to know what he wants. He needs her help, but she refuses to counsel him. She threatens to have him thrown out and says that if John finds him there...oops, too late...guess who just walked through the door!!!

Investigating Colin...
Next up, we see the outside of the Salem Spectator as Jen in on the phone, trying to reach Colin. She doesn't get to talk to him, so she rushes over to the hospital. Meanwhile, Jack and Bo meet up at the Java Café. Jack hands over his file on Colin to Bo, suggesting they work together. Bo flips through the file as Jack tells him that most of the info came from Victor. Bo is reluctant to join forces with Jack and goes to leave. But Jack tries to reason with him. Bo realizes that Jack is concerned because of Jen, but goes on to explain that he believes that Colin is connected to Tony, who is a DiMera and poses a treat to most of Salem. He gets Bo's attention this time and decides to give it some serious thought. A blonde woman begins to lurk around (Billie?) watching them. Bo finally agrees to work with Jack and warns him to tell no one about this. They part ways, promising to compare notes again soon.

Jack calls in to the office and finds out from Harold that Jennifer is gone to see Colin at the hospital. This infuriates him as he heads to the office and begins packing his things...he is quitting. Harold tries to change his mind and as a last resort, calls Jennifer (who is now is Salem Place. Harold puts Jack on the phone but before Jennifer can say a word, Colin grabs her from behind, covering her mouth.

After Jack leaves his meeting with Bo, Hope shows up. She tells him that Caroline is dropping Zack off to go shopping and Bo wants to join them. Later, the 3 of them are sitting on a bench (Zack is chattering away as usual) going through their purchases. The blonde woman is still watching them from the shadows. The camera pans back to reveal that it is indeed Billie in disguise...as the credits roll.
