Summary:
Billie gets a welcome reception from Sami as they exchange words...Hope is preparing to leave for Iowa...Shawn and Belle hide the "alien" kids...and Chloe is able to receive visitors. (Thumbs up to Nadia Bjorlin and Jay Johnson (Chloe and Philip) for a touching performance today).

Sami Does Her Version of the Welcome Wagon...
Brandon is in the hallway outside Sami's apartment demanding his wallet as they get into it pretty good. Billie and Kate come along toting a huge box as Billie is moving in with Kate. Brandon offers his assistance as Kate gladly accepts. He and Billie are chatting it up as Sami returns with his wallet. Kate tells her to shush as he and Billie are getting acquainted. Everyone is laughing and having a good time except Sami. She returns Brandon's wallet as Kate calls her a thief. Billie informs Sami that she is moving in and that she is now on the Salem PD. Sami is really nasty and sarcastic with her and accuses her of chasing after her uncle Bo. A nod to history as Billie refers to the time when she and Carrie shared the apartment Sami is now living in. She says had she known that Sami would be living there, she would have never given it up. Kate and Billie go inside their apartment as Brandon berates Sami for her behavior. She sort of apologizes as she suggests that they be friends again, saying she wishes he could lean on her and she could help him. He calls her territorial and clingy and tells her she needs professional counseling and leaves.

In their apartment, Kate questions Billie about her being back in Salem. She suggests that there are other men besides Bo. They joke about her going after Brandon and how that would really drive Sami crazy. Billie gets a call (asking Kate to leave the room). She learns that Hope's flight has been confirmed as she grabs her purse and leaves.

Over at the Brady House...
Hope is busy packing for her trip when she finds a box of chocolates in Bo's things. She asks why he is hiding it and he confirms it is a surprise. She thinks it was intended for Billie. He says it was a surprise for her as she apologizes to a hurt Bo. She swears that she trusts him...it is Billie she doesn't trust. Bo swears that no one can ever come between them again and they kiss.

The kids are dubbed "The Gemini Twins"...
The Aliens (the gang) have the kids trapped in an alley as Shawn and Belle argue over interfering (Shawn believes they are part of the gang). But Belle says she can't turn her back on them and wants to help. Shawn has a plan as they push the dumpster toward them as a diversion and the kids scamper off. Later, Shawn and Belle are searching for them and find them (hiding and scared) in the park again. Belle has an idea and gets them to follow her. They end up at the Brady house in the garage. She wants to teach them to trust them and hide them there in the meantime. Shawn reluctantly gives in, believing there is something wrong here, thinking perhaps they are runaways. She pleads with him to go along with her, at least for a couple of days and he agrees. She says that she feels that there is something important with this and she feels connected to them for some reason (hmmmm...) As the kids explore the garage, Shawn promises to be right back and leaves. He goes in the house to find his dad packing some surprises in Hope's carry-on bag. Bo tells him about her going to Iowa and the JT situation. Bo offers to get him a ticket to go too if he wants to. But Shawn decides not to. He seems to be distracted but Bo wants to tell him something important...about Billie being back in town and on the police force. Shawn asks if she is stirring up trouble, but Bo assures him that isn't the case. Shawn goes up to see Hope and Zack as Bo promises himself again that nothing will come between him and Hope again. Back in the garage, the kids go to leave as Shawn comes in with Zack. He says "Zack...meet the aliens" (ROFL) who seem to be intrigued by him. Shawn has a bag of pretzels as he and Zack begin to eat them (LOL as Zack is asking for candy). They offer some to the kids who eat as well. Belle notices that they look similar and ask if they are brother and sister. She decides that they must be twins and since they came to them in the Gemini meteor shower, dubs them "The Gemini Twins."

At the Hospital...
There is a replay of Brady going in to see Chloe and sees her and says "Oh, my God". She asks if she looks THAT bad. He goes to kiss her and she stops him, telling him she is to have no contact. Philip, Nancy and Craig arrive to find him there. Chloe tells them all not to touch her, her immune system is rebuilding. Brady tells her about the tape as Craig tells them all that her vitals are improving. Chloe wants a shower more than anything so the men folk leave. Nancy helps her to the bathroom and wants to help, but Chloe wants to do it alone. As she showers, she ends up with a handful of hair, upsetting her. After she is finished, she won't tell Nancy what is wrong, but as she brushes her hair, Nancy notices all the hair in the brush, telling her not to worry, it was expected. Philip comes in and notices as well and tries to console her as she breaks down and sobs in his arms. In the hall, Brady questions Craig about the progress of finding Chloe's father. Craig calls the bone marrow bank and they inform him about a match for someone else, but nothing for Chloe. Back in her room, Chloe apologizes for her vain behavior, but Philip tells her he doesn't care if she loses all her hair, she will still be beautiful. She is really down on herself as he tells her that she is brave and strong and that makes her even more beautiful. He is really sweet and tender with her as he offers encouragement and promises her that she will beat this. He pulls out the tree necklace as she asks him to put it on her. In his office, Craig gets off the phone and tells Brady there is no match for Chloe yet. Brady gets upset and goes off on Craig, blaming him for not diagnosing Chloe's condition sooner. He gets really ugly as he berates Craig. Finally Craig has had enough and tells him off. Nancy walks in and hears and slams the door behind her. Brady and Craig both apologize as Nancy goes off on them, especially Brady. (and it's well deserved, IMO!!) She lets him have it with both barrels as he continues to apologize. Craig tells her about the match for the other little boy, which offers encouragement to her. Brady apologizes again, explaining that he is upset and only wants to see Chloe get better. They finally accept his apologies as he leaves. In the hallway, he vows to not let her die. Back in her room, Philip tells Chloe that he has a surprise for her and helps her to the balcony. Outside, there is a wooden heart with "P&C 4 EVER" carved on it hanging from a tree. He tells her "Forever...that's what we will have together...years and years of happiness...I promise you"...as the credits roll.

More clues are unveiled about the mystery key, Brandon spreads his good mood around Salem, and Hope prepares for Iowa.

COP SHOP
Abe returns to his office and Sami arrives, wanting to talk about Brandon. He warns her that Brandon's a troubled guy and she should stay away from him. She tells Abe he's the reason Brandon's troubled. She tells Abe she loves Brandon as he's been there for her. Abe warns her to be careful. She tells him what Brandon said about Abe's breaking up his family. She's sincere in saying she cares for all of them and not judgmental, just wants to help. Abe tells her that he loves her and she's like a daughter to him, but to stay out of it and away from Brandon before he takes his rage out on her. She feels she's the only one who can keep Brandon away from Lexi. He tells her no information as Brandon walks in (love that open door policy at the Commander's office). Brandon wants to talk to Abe in private, but Abe isn't interested. Sami speaks up, but Brandon tells her to „shut up‰. Abe tells Brandon not to talk to Sami that way or take his anger out on her or his wife. Abe gets called away and tells them they have to leave and just takes off and leaves them in his office. Sami tells Brandon she's worried about his anger and maybe Abe was there to give his mother the love she needed when his father couldn't. What's the matter with that? Brandon leaves after saying it was more then an affair.

Nicole (wearing a knock out halter top and spandex shorts, whoa!) receives an expensive vase of orchids from Victor with a note saying he wants to fulfill all of her desires. She figures she's got him where she wants him. Brandon arrives needing her help. He blames Abe for ruining their family and Nicole tells him that he needs a reality check. He trashes Victor, accusing him of being a classy version of their old man (hardly). The two both try to justify their current feelings. She tells him she's back with Victor for good as he gives her everything she wants or needs, but he compares it to her father, she's just selling herself to the highest bidder. Now she has a choice! She tells him neither Sami or Lexi will love him and to let them go. She opens the door and tells him to leave.

Later, Nicole's changed into a sexy dress and has the apartment set up for a candlelight dinner ready for Victor. He arrives, but she fakes being distracted due to Sami's chasing after her brother. Victor tells her not to worry, if she wants Sami to keep her distance from Brandon, consider it done. A big smile flashes across Nicole's face, happy it was so easy to get what she wanted.

BRADY GARAGE
Belle proceeds to have fun with different garage items and the GT's (Gemini twins) (hoola hoop, cowboy hat, etc.) as they imitate and repeat phrases. Shawn brings sodas out for all of them and the GT's shake them and scared when it sprays when opening. Belle asked where they're from and she says Hol-ly-wood. Shawn takes it that they're actors, but Belle shows them the Hollywood sign that was in the garage as the two mimic phrases.

Inside the house, Hope comes downstairs after a little afternoon delight, looking for everyone. Bo said Shawn must have put Zack down for a nap while they were busy. She mentions going out to the garage for her suitcase. She teases him about keeping her too busy to pack. He tells her that he misses her already and she tells him „ditto‰ (ahh...GHOST fans?). He'll go get her suitcase for her and she winks and throws kisses to him as she goes upstairs (they must have had fun making that scene with her being 8 1/2 months pregnant in real life, ha!)

John finds Bo on his way to the garage and tells him what he found out about the blue key. He tells Bo he had the key tested and NASA developed it for the space shuttle to withstand extreme heat and not released to the outside world yet. They talk about Tony's behavior with neither believing him. Bo's happy Hope and Zack will be in Iowa. John wishes he could send Marlena with them and worried as she's home alone. Bo walks him to his car. Bo gets to the garage and Shawn orders everyone to be quiet as Bo pounds on the door calling for Shawn. Shawn pretends the door is sticky as he pulls away the chair in front of the door knob and says he was in the garage looking for the big box of toys that were JT's (they didn't give them to Zack to play with?) as Mom might want to take some back to JT. Bo agrees, but realizes Shawn's trying to get him out of the garage and asks why (Belle and the GT's are hiding behind boxes...guess the Brady's don't park in the garage, but don't remember a driveway either for that matter? haha) Shawn sends Bo back to the house with the box of toys, saying he just wanted to be alone, and will bring in the suitcases. He tells Belle they needed a better hiding spot and takes the suitcases to the house. Both Bo and Shawn let Hope know they'll miss her and she loves it, saying she won't be gone that long, but laughingly asks Shawn not to chase any aliens while she's gone. (I read Kristian will be back filming in October, but has pre-taped shows during the time she'll be on maternity leave). Shawn looks at the door and sees the female half smiling at him. Belle finally pulls her away and Bo and Hope notice Shawn's edginess, but figure he and Belle are still just working things out. Shawn leaves to take a drive and Bo and Hope turn off the lights and head upstairs (hey, leave the light on for the kid at least!). The knucklecracker watches from outside.

Shawn tells the GT's to stay in the garage as they don't want to keep them there under lock and key. Belle holds up her keys and the GT's get scared. Belle holds the key out to assure them it's safe, but it just frightens them more. The male GT holds his hand out with 3 fingers extending (like the 3 edges of the key).

THE PENTHOUSE
We see Marlena on a table in a white room, being told to sleep. She's having a dream and clutching the pillow from Stefano while on the couch. A knock on the door wakes her up and she tosses it on the floor. It's Tony. He knows he should have called first, but finds now she's in a trance similar to his own, as we hear „Sleep Marlena, Sleep‰ that she's hearing. She comes out of it and flat out tells Tony she knows he's back to finish his father's job. She gives him one minute to say what he came for. He says he doesn't understand, but she watched his face while others got Stefano's bequests. She FIRMLY orders him to stay away from her family, stop his friendship with her husband and warns him that if he hurts Sami, he'll have to answer to her! (Wa-hoo...you tell him Doc!!) By the time she finishes, Tony is in one of his trances. She goes to get something for him (love how she's still in her suit, but barefoot) as Tony opens his eyes. He's had so many trance episodes, he knows how to fake them, and just wanted her out of the room. He takes a tracking device out of his pocket (to find the key) and walks around looking for a signal (geez, where did Marlena go, the hospital?) Later he's back in the living room (looks like he had gone upstairs earlier) and Marlena returns with a glass of water (oh, just what he needed, haha). He pockets the tracking device and says he's okay. She noticed he was putting something in his pocket and says he was just taking something out of his pocket for her...and takes the queen chess piece out of his other pocket that he brought over. Holding it up in Marlena's face, he tells her to take her, but she doesn't want anything from Stefano and refuses to take it, so he puts it on the table and walks out. (the Black's need a Carleton the doorman like in the old sitcom Rhoda, announcing their visitors!) Later John returns home and Marlena tells him about Tony's visit and needed him. (John said he was at the office doing some work) He knows Tony really came to case the penthouse for the key. She tells John to give Tony back the key, tonight! She takes the key and something happens. She tells John that this key can NEVER be in the Dimera's possession again!

DiMANSION
Tony returns and gazes at his model house. He pulls a baby crib out of an upper bedroom and finds a note hidden under it. He opens it and reads it. It tells Tony to open the door with the key and it will open the door to his dreams. Cue a split screen and background music with drums as it shows Marlena holding the key on one side as Tony looks at the mysterious note in the other (nicely done) as the credits roll...........

A new day dawns in Salem, as it's residents enjoy breakfast (some actually eat a few bites, lol), Belle & Shawn christen the Gemini twins, & Hope leaves for Iowa.

IN NICOLE'S APT.
In Nicole's apartment, both Vic & Nik are in robes, eating breakfast, as they talk about Sami. Victor says not to worry, but wonders why Nicole hates Sami so much. Nicole is worried about Brandon, and they talk a bit of Austin, Vegas, etc. Victor assures her he will go take care of Sami right now, but Nicole has a better idea, and leads him off to the bedroom first

IN THE HOSPITAL
In the hospital, Brenda, the head nurse, reminds Sami she is on duty now, and the nurse's station is the other way. Tho Sami agrees, she is not to be deterred, and goes barging into Brandon's office. (Wonder how she holds her job!). Brandon has just been remembering his conversation with Sami about his mom & Abe, and is not pleased to see Sami at all. With her usual tact, (said tongue in cheek) Sami badgers Brandon to "let her help", and to show how much she "understands" she blabs all about seeing her mother & John on the conference room table when she was 15. She says that was when she lost her innocence, and that Brandon only saw his mom & Abe kissing, this was much more. She continues with her "poor me" confessions, talking about how she has had relationship troubles ever since. Brandon pushes her away, telling her to just leave him alone.

Sami finally shows up for work, only to have Victor approach her, wanting to talk, NOW! He won't let her even answer the phone (guess it pays to be on the hospital board) & takes her outside. At first he makes just veiled threats, but when Sami says she has no more to give him, he has the photos of Kate, the tape, Lucas has Will in Africa for the summer........Victor adds his latest demand. She stay away from Brandon, no visits, no conversations, no nothing. Or Brandon himself will hear on the tape how Sami lied about Lucas hitting Will, plus a few other of her misdeeds.
Meanwhile, Nicole has arrived to visit Brandon. He invites her into his office (never knew he had one, must be why that hospital looks so big from the outside...lots of offices inside...lol). Brandon apologizes to her for their argument the other day, and comparing Vic to their father. They talk of love and relationships. Nicole talks about how Sami is after him, and that after her "what you see is what you get" approach has not worked, next on her list is the "let me help you"(Nik has Sami's number down cold! lol) to which has to agree. Nik explains how sure she is Victor loves her, but admits tho she cares about him a great deal, it isn't love. And perhaps she is not meant for that. (Uh, oh). That maybe she just doesn't know what love is, except the kind between brother & sister. Brandon says the other has to be more intense.

THE BRADY HOMESTEAD
The Brady homestead is bustling, as Shawn is hanging a huge "We will miss you" banner, & Bo is assisting. Shawn sees Belle thru the window, and says he is going to check on gas in the car. Hope comes down, with a worried look. She is concerned about JT, wants to be there for him, but hates leaving Bo behind. They talk of all the time they have been apart, and about Billie. Hope trusts Bo, but not Billie, knows she has ulterior motives, whatever they are. (Smart girl, you got that right!)

Outside the garage, Shawn & Belle are startled to hear the twins talking about spaceships, controls, etc. and freak out. Then they realize the twins are mimicking the television, which has been going all night, obviously. We now get treated to a scene straight out of either the movie Splash or E.T., as the twins recite commercials, dialogue, etc. from the programs they have watched all night. Yes, they learned the language, but unsure if they understand what they are saying. Belle decides they need names, and talks of Castor & Pollux, the names of the mythical Gemini twins, who were both males. She decides Cassie would be a good version of Castor, & Shawn dislikes either Paul or Lex (remember Lex Luther from Superman? Lol) and Belle suggests Ollie (Egads) which sends the male twin into a TV commercial for olive oil.....thus Shawn suggests Rex. Everyone likes it. Suddenly Rex goes into a baseball announcer mode, raving about a home run, and knocking into boxes all over, making lots of racket. Shawn tells everyone to stay put as he will go outside to run interference.
Sure enough, here comes Bo to investigate the noise, but Shawn claims he did it, Hope comes out, & they all say their goodbyes.

We see Belle, Shawn & the twins around the table, as the kids eat the melon balls with their hands, pour syrup into their milk glasses, & have even eaten raw eggs (oh, yuk)causing Shawn to remark, Zack has better table manners, and he is only 2. They decide to get the twins cleaned up, and take them upstairs for showers. (yes, Shawn takes Rex, and Belle handles Cassie) They all come downstairs, Rex & Cassie have different clothes on, and it is remarked that those glowing bracelets would not come off. Just then, Philip arrives, and the twins cower in the corner. But Shawn assures them Philip is a friend, and demonstrates shaking hands. Shawn gets onto the laptop, to try and find something out about the bracelets (GMAB), Rex is fascinated, Shawn lets him take over, and Rex very ably types away (O.K. if these kids could not understand our language, how do they know what the letters on the keyboard mean?). In short order, up pops a picture of a beach, with a seashell on it. Shawn wonders how Rex knows DOS, but doesn't know how to eat. LOLOL. Philip says he is on his way to see Chloe, is almost visiting hours, pulls out his keys, waving them and saying he will see them all later. Rex & Cassie scream, cowering once more. Shawn gets Phil to leave, saying he will explain later.

AT BILLIE'S APT
At Billie's apartment, she is putting things away, kind of moaning about Lucas not leaving much room, (well, hey, Billie, tis HIS place) when a knock at the door reveals Kate & Philip with breakfast in a bag. They sit around the table, & both visitors are curious as to why Billie was hiding out when she first came to town. Billie talks of how important being a policeman is, Philip brings up Bo (another Salem twist, Bo is his brother, and Billie his sister, lol) & knows how things must have gone for Billie before. She insists she only wants to work with Roman again, he was her inspiration for joining up. She asks about Chloe, and Philip fills her in, but then talks of both Billie and Bo being his role models for getting thru the bad stuff. (As he talks, he is shredding a muffin to bits, never once taking a bite, lolol) He leaves, Kate & Billie yak a bit, & Billie has to go to work. Kate volunteers to unpack for her, so stays behind. As she is filling drawers, she finds the blond wig, and tells herself she wishes she was not so worried about Billie.

AT THE AIRPORT (oh shoot, no exterior, lol)
At the airport, Bo, Hope & Zack arrive, & while Hope goes to check her flight, Bo talks to Zack (really cute scene here) telling him to take good care of mommy, and say hello to his brother (JT). Hope returns, they all hug, (Hope just looks absolutely beautiful!!), wave bye, bye and Bo stands, watching them go thru the gate. Behind him, we see Billie stepping out from behind a wall, watching! And the credits roll

Ever wonder why you're waiting so long for help in the hospital? If it's like Salem University Hospital, it's due to family and friend's continuous visits to the staff as you'll see in tomorrow's show, haha.

BRADY'S LOFT
Brady gets a visit from his mother and only confirms what she told him he needed to do for Chloe when there's a knock at the door. It's Pete, the investigator Craig hired to find Chloe's biological father. Brady had called him saying he had a lead on Chloe's father. He explains most of his cases involve finding the daddy and usually for money. Brady assures him that's not the case here, it's a bone marrow transplant (you would think Craig would have told him that). The investigator gets frustrated when Brady doesn't know anything and leaves after Brady realizes the investigator is a scammer, only out for the $$. Isabella pops up and she tells him to be with Chloe and the answers will come as to who can help her.

HOSPITAL
Philip arrives to find Chloe now wearing a turban. He's been shopping and bought her something for each season (awww) starting with a bouquet of daisies for the summertime. Later we find them both lounging on the couch in her room with a beach umbrella behind them. They're wearing shades and sipping iced drinks as he mocks yelling at someone splashing water on them, LOL! He moves on to winter as he collapses the umbrella and sprinkles leaves on her and wraps a shawl around her. He plans a hay ride with friends and a horseback ride as he hugs her. He wheels her to the door to her terrace as they pretend to see various trees and pretending it's cold outside. He rubs her hands and tells her they're both happy and alive. He wants her to hold onto that happy feeling (and him) as the two hug. Brady walks in and orders him to let her go, reminding them about Chloe not having close contact with people. Philip realizes what Brady said was true as he takes his arm away. Chloe tells Brady about the four seasons. Brady asks for a few minutes alone with her and Philip agreeably steps outside. Brady tells her his mother said they should work together. He explains how she comes to him when he's alone as Chloe encourages Brady to talk with her. He reminds her how his mother died at a young age and Chloe gets upset, misinterpreting what he's saying and takes it as a reminder she might die at an early age too. Philip rushes in after hearing their loud voices and quietly suggests Brady leave as he holds Chloe from behind to calm her. Brady tries to explain, but leaves mad at himself for upsetting her.

Philip has Chloe get into bed and continues on with faux snow, by putting his cold hands on her face. She has him get into bed with her, covers and all and proceeds to kiss him and then snuggling into his shoulder. (so much for germs)

On the terrace, Victor orders Sami not to go near Brandon. (I think Sami popped a few buttons on her blouse today, can't believe Nurse Brenda doesn't call her on it!) Nicole asks a nurse where Victor is and Kate overhears as the two verbally claw at each other. Nicole suggests Kate use the internet dating service when Victor and Sami come in from the terrace. Sami knows Nicole's responsible for Victor's latest demand after watching their exchange and fumes. Victor adds Nicole to Sami's taboo list as he and Nicole exchange catty smiles.

Brandon sees Lexie and goes over to check on her. She immediately hugs him and tells him she loves him. She tells him she loves everyone right now and tells him about the note she found in the family crest from her father. He promised she would get everything she ever lost, i.e. love, a child, and family. Sami watches as a radiant Lexie hugs Brandon, wanting him to celebrate with her after he stood by her during her troubled times. Later, in his office, she realizes he's not as happy as she and realizes it's due to Abe. The two realize they both need each other in their lives.

Tony has Colin called away from his rounds. Colin figures Tony had more attacks and needed him, but learns Tony just wants his help in getting his precious key back. Colin asks how a Murphy is supposed to do something a Dimera can't. Tony knows Colin wouldn't be suspected like he is. Colin tells him to be patient as Tony shows him his minature Geiger counter for the substance the key is made of. He turns it on and it starts beeping indicating the key is in the hospital.

In her office, Marlena's busily dictating patient updates into her recorder when someone takes it out of her hand. It's John, wanting to know why she's terrified about the blue key as he lays it on her desk. She only knows she's afraid for someone, but not herself. She begs him to be careful when he picks it up. Tony and Colin are in the hallway tracking the key when Sami joins them and asks what the device is. Colin gets paged away. Tony tells Sami the device is a pager of sorts. Marlena and John hug and passionately kiss before John leaves as Tony watches through an open door to her waiting room. John finds Sami's id badge on the floor when he comes out.

Tony pulled Sami into Colin's exam room, saying he didn't want to talk outside Marlena's door knowing how she feels about him. Sami tells Tony about Victor's latest demand and Tony promises to take care of it. She hugs him when Colin walks in, wanting to finish Tony's exam. Colin tells Tony about John Black being in the hospital, so must have the key on him. Tony tells him about Sami and her dilemma with Brandon, then asks about his relationship with Nicole. Colin tells him they were hot and heavy for a while, but it's over. Tony tells Colin to turn it back on again.

John finds Sami in the hall and returns her badge, wise to her seeing Tony there. He tells her Tony is not friend material. Sami returns and walks right into Colin's examination room (glad Tony was dressed!) asking how Tony is. Colin leaves, saying he's fine and Sami hugs Tony for helping her. He mentions her maybe helping him later on (Sami, Sami, when will you ever learn?) She agrees and rushes back to work.

Brady returns home and calls for his mother. She appears and he tells her it didn't work. She explains Chloe wasn't ready yet and they need to go on a journey together, one that will give them hope. He tells his mother to leave him alone and she disappears as he remembers what she said.

NICOLE'S APARTMENT
Nicole and Victor return to her place. She hopes he'll work on Kate next, but he figures she can take Kate on herself. Later she agrees to that as her cell rings. Victor goes to answer it, but she takes it and finds it's Colin, wanting to see her. Not letting on to Victor, she agrees to meet with him.

BACK AT THE HOSPITAL
Marlena tries to dictate again when Kate knocks and walks right in, talking a mile a minute while apologizing for interrupting her. Marlena tells her she has to try decaf (LOL!). She asks Kate if she needs a session and Kate agrees she does (she should have found her in the cafeteria, it would have been free there ;-) Kate explains she's upset about the jar of kippers. Although she pretended not to know what it meant, she confesses having known Stefano and what it meant.. Later she leaves after realizing she can't talk about it now and asks Marlena not to tell anyone. Marlena assures her it's confidential and to pop in anytime (duh, everyone else does). John pops in (see) and Marlena tells him she and Kate were just catching up. He asks if Kate's ok (hey, who's holding down Basic Black?) and then tells her about seeing Tony and Sami together. Marlena says she'd like to lock Sami in her room, then jests about Sami having her own apartment, ha! John has a plan to separate them by getting tough. He walks out to find Tony in the hall. John tells him he knows what he wants and he's not going to get it as the credits roll...

Summary:
It's another busy day in Salem, with lots going on. John puts a plan into motion and makes Tony an offer as Marlena fears what may happen...Bo and Abe get a break in the baby-switching case...Lexie hounds Nancy and Craig...Cassie and Rex run off and end up seeing the mysterious key.

John, Marlena & Tony
At the hospital, there is a replay of John and Tony as John tells him he knows what he wants and isn't going to get it. Marlena comes out of her office and breaks it up. Tony asks what they are hiding from him. John says that it is Tony who is keeping secrets and warns him to stay away from Sami. Tony assures them that he has no romantic designs on Sami, informing them that she is infatuated with Brandon. He tells them that if Sami has a problem, it has nothing to do with him and that he invited her to dinner and to the memorial service simply because Brandon was going to be there. Marlena has to stop John from going after Tony as he leaves. He is afraid that Marlena or someone he loves is going to get hurt. But they are both afraid that it is Sami who will end up hurt...again. John says he needs to go for a walk to clear his head as Marlena returns to her office for a patient. In the lobby, John catches up with Tony and they talk about letting bygones be bygones and being friends. John talks business to him and makes him an offer to invest in a business deal. He says that they are thinking of investing in a new metal (now, what interest would Basic Black have in THAT?). The metal he is speaking about (in great detail) is the type the key is made of. He tells him that the metal was developed for use in outer space. He gives Tony an envelope of information, telling him to think it over and leaves. As John is leaving, Tony's detector is going wild and he realizes that John must have the key with him. Lexie walks up and berates him, telling him that cellphones aren't allowed in the hospital (LOL...since WHEN? Salemites seem to use them there all the time!) He asks her why she is there and she informs him that she is there to torment the hospital about the lawsuit and vows that Craig Wesley will PAY! Tony suggests that perhaps their father did have something to do with it, but Lexie defends Stefano, explaining that Stefano assured her he wasn't responsible. Tony warns her that with their father, it isn't what he told them that was important...it was what he didn't tell. Tony doesn't really have time to talk and leaves in a hurry.

Lexie the Tormentor
Yes and tormenting she has been doing. First on her list was Nancy. Nancy was checking herself with the ovulation test and goes searching for Craig. She runs into Lexie in the hallway, who wastes no time in jumping her. She tells Nancy that once the lawsuit is settled, she and Craig will be run out of town. An ugly scene ensues as Nancy walks away and is followed into Craig's office as Lexie spews at her, telling her she hopes that once Craig is fired, Mike Horton will return OR even she may apply for the job. They argue and Nancy tells her that even Stefano threatened her the night of the baby switch. Lexie warns her not to mess with the DiMeras. Then she throws up the fact that her brother made a huge donation to the Leukemia foundation to help her daughter. This sets Nancy off, telling her to NEVER mention her daughter again. Lexie tells "Missy" (she calls Nancy) that SOMEONE will pay and struts off. Nancy makes calls all over the hospital, trying to locate Craig, but Brenda only knows that he left.

At the Cop Shop...
Craig is with Bo as they decide to recheck the surveillance tapes from the night of the baby switch. When Abe enters, there is an obvious uncomfortable feeling between he and Craig. They head to Abe's office as Craig apologizes for the awkwardness of the situation. They watch the tapes repeatedly, but see nothing. Craig talks about how the key to the whole thing is in the id bracelets. Bo is sure that they are missing something. Craig has to get back to the hospital, so Abe and Bo continue to watch the tapes. As Bo keeps remembering what Craig said, he thinks he sees something strange, but isn't sure. He and Abe decide to send the tape to the lab.

The Gemini Twins...
At the Brady house, Shawn and Belle try to figure out why Cassie and Rex keep freaking out at the sight of keys. Belle suggests they try to teach them to communicate. She goes upstairs to get books and flashcards as Shawn gets a phone call from Bo. He wants Shawn to go down to the docks and drop off a check. While he is on the phone, Cassie and Rex take off. Belle returns to find the door open and them gone. She and Shawn look all around the house but come up empty. They are sure they couldn't have gotten far and take off, looking for them. Cassie and Rex show up at the dock at the Fancy Face boat. Someone comes by and they hide. After they guy leaves, John walks up. He pulls out the key, wondering what it means. Cassie and Rex see it and freak out, but keep quiet. Upon seeing the key, Rex holds out 3 fingers. After John leaves, Shawn and Belle show up. Shawn goes to drop off the check and Belle finds the twins. They are relived to see her and the feeling is mutual. She coaxes them out of hiding as Shawn returns. They wonder why they are so afraid of keys, but asking them is a waste of time and they freak again as Shawn pulls out his keys (again Rex holds out 3 fingers). Not having seen the mysterious key, Shawn and Belle are clueless as to what the 3 means. They decide they need to hide them in a secluded spot and Shawn suggests the boat. So they all begin to board the Fancy Face.

Back to the Hospital...
Upon returning to the hospital, Craig is covered by Brenda and another nurse with tons of messages. Nancy meets him at his door and gives him THE LOOK. He says "Now?" and she says "Right now!" so they head into his office. Later he gets a call and has to rush off (so much for afterglow). He promises her if it didn't work this time, they will continue to try. With a kiss, he is off. In the hallway, he runs into Lexie (who is still on the prowl) and they have an ugly showdown. She vows that he is going down.

In her Office...
Marlena is having flashbacks of grabbing the key from John and is bewildered by the feelings it caused. She says if Tony gets the key, their future could be destroyed. Disguising his voice, John calls to her from the outer office. He comes in (acting goofy) pretending to be a patient and makes light, saying he is searching for answers and whips out the key. Marlena is NOT amused by his antics. He tells her that he put his plan into action and about his offer to Tony. (I may be wrong, but she acts as if she knew about if beforehand). He tells her that Tony didn't bite and that the info about the strange metal meant nothing to him. They assume he is clueless as to the true meaning of the key. Marlena asks if John thinks that the key has any connection to the meteor showers. John thinks not, but Marlena is not so sure. She says that there is more to it than they know...and that their future depends on it. John asks her why she thinks it will affect the future, but she can't explain. She says that when she touched the key, it was almost like someone walking on her grave...it was just an intuition thing. But she is sure that Stefano isn't through with them. John vows to discover what secrets the key will unlock. Marlena says with Stefano...anything is possible.

Over at DiMansion...
Tony returns home mumbling about John and how he must get the key back. He wonders why John is so interested in outer space. He summons Bart (who is upset that he didn't bellow at him, LOL). He wants information from him and asks if Stefano showed any interest in outer space. Bart does remember a satellite Stefano had launched, but says that is more Dr. Rolfe's arena, but he disappeared. Tony wants him to get all the information he can find. Tony thinks about John's offer and is sure that it is all tied together somehow.

Back at the Cop Shop...
A cop returns with the tape, telling Bo and Abe that it has been enhanced. He tells them to take another look...they may have a breakthrough...and the credits roll.
