MONDAY, JUNE 24TH, 2002***

Episode #: 9334

Tony Dimera makes his appearance and explains where he's been over the past few years. Sami and Brandon have an honest discussion on the terrace while Belle and Brady do so in his loft.

BRADY'S LOFT
Brady and Belle return to his loft after being evacuated from the PHG. She's concerned about her parents safety and upset they didn't call her. He reminds her about their father's hero complex (LOL) and stayed behind. Brady calls and finds out everything's okay at the restaurant. Belle's still upset as Mom and Dad would have a fit if SHE didn't call if the situation were reversed. He goes to open up salsa and tortilla chips to cheer her up. She goes to use her cell and he stops her from calling Shawn (why wasn't Shawn with her at the party, his parents were there even). Belle can tell Brady's still upset with Shawn and ends up telling him what really happened to Jan and how Shawn was vulnerable at the time and did what he did to protect Jan. Brady remembers what a wreck Jan was on the island and understands why now. He claims Shawn should have gotten help for Jan and she tells him Shawn tried, but Jan refused. Brady's still angry how Belle got hurt as a result, but she stands up for Shawn and tells Brady she loves Shawn. She lets him know she can tell how much he cares for Chloe and he even admits it's true. She asks what he's waiting for then as Chloe needs him now. Brady tells Belle how he and Chloe "bonded" last summer while sharing what they had in common. It was the first friend he had made since boarding school. They never really dated and most of the school year she was obsessed with "Uncle" Phil. Belle asked why he never asked Chloe out, but he said it's too late now as she's in the hospital. The subject changes to Isabella and how she died of cancer. He felt helpless as there was nothing he can do to help his mother and now, to save Chloe. Belle disagrees. She tells him how she never realized before..but Chloe and Brady are like soul mates. Chloe looks up to him and he and Chloe connect over music and are both the most stubborn people she's ever known. When he visits Chloe at the hospital, her face lights up. All that positive energy helps Chloe get better and he is doing something, maybe more than anyone else. He hugs his sister as his mother Isabella appears saying that he has a beautiful heart and to open it and give his love. The snow in the snow globe Chloe gave him starts moving as he looks at it.

PHG TERRACE
Sami and Brandon spend most of the show oblivious to what's happening in the dining room. Sami gets on the defensive and expects Brandon to dump on her. He tells her he's found it safer to be on his own as he won't get hurt that way and she promises she wouldn't hurt him. He reminds her how much he wanted her before and she ran off with Austin. She thanks him for his help in having the last two years with her son. He thought he had gotten over her and then after Austin left her, she started hitting on him again while on the rebound. He asks what she wants, love, lust or friendship? She tells him how she had loved Austin since she was a teen and she knows now it's over with Austin as she hold's his letter to Kate in her hands. She asks Brandon if he still loves her. She reads the part of the letter where Austin pities her and states she'll never have a permanent relationship with any man. She tears up the letter (hope Kate didn't want it back, haha) and throws it over the terrace (litterbug). She asks Brandon if he still wants her. He asks if she just wants a fling and use his affections again? He tells her to call him when she can't stop thinking about him just like she couldn't stop thinking about Austin. She admits using his feelings for her to get Will back from Kate in Italy, but she cared about him too. She couldn't call it love then or love now, but thinks it could be if he's willing to give them a chance. When he doesn't say anything, she sobs and tells him to go and do what's best for him as she sobs looking over the terrace. He tells her he can't just leave her and she needs to just be herself. She needs to face her fears. He tells her he's not rejecting her, just being her friend. She wants more than that, but asks what he's going to do now that he's broken off with Jennifer. He tells her it's none of his business about him and Lexie.

Sami tells herself the truth sucks and she should have just lied. Maybe it's not too late. She walks into the dining room and sees Tony.

PENTHOUSE GRILL
A replay of Tony's entrance to the dining room stating that the Phoenix has risen John launches onto Tony and has to be pulled off by Roman and Abe. He fumes at Tony about how he was framed for his murder and almost executed for it. John rants that Tony was declared legally dead years ago and you can't be convicted of the same crime twice. Abe asks Tony if he's Tony Dimera and Tony agrees to that and is taken back by all that's going on. He only came there to get acquainted with his sister. Roman and Abe want to take him down to the cop shop, but Tony asks to say something while everyone's there. Bo steps forward to say Tony's there to get his son on Stefano's orders. Tony's apparently baffled and wonders why he would kidnap Shawn Douglas at his age. Bo isn't buying that Tony doesn't know about his son that Stefano had taken and given to his daughter Lexie to raise. Lexie's gasping in disbelief as Bo says this. Lexie tries to get Abe's help for her brother. John wants Tony to talk and promises not to touch him. Marlena asks John to leave, wanting to be away from Tony, but he's not budging.

Tony remembers last he was in Salem and his wife Kristen was in love with John and they were having an affair. He was mad enough to want John dead for it. We see Jennifer taking notes like crazy in the background as John and Tony talk. Tony tells everyone that it was his cousin Andre who died in Aremid. He explains about finding out about his rare blood disease in Salem and how Stefano took him off in his jet to get help for him. He was in a coma for years. Tony said he had lost the will to live after learning about Kristen's affair with John and how she was planning to marry John after divorcing him. Tony calmly tells all that Stefano hated Andre and while he was in the coma, convinced Andre that he shared the same fatal blood disease that Tony had and convinced him to pretend he was Tony in Aremid and to set John up to kill him. It was a way to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Tony says he did not send John to the gas chamber and can prove it. He asks them to compare the handwriting in the diary they still have from Aremind and it will show it was Andre's handwriting in it. He also suggests they dig up his/Andre's grave and do a dna test. Tony gets light headed and Lexie helps him to a chair. As soon as he sits down, Abe and Roman go to help him up. Nicole tries to get Colin to leave, but he refuses as he watches the action closely.

Tony stares in the distance (at Colin) and Bo picks up on that as does Nicole. She asks Colin what's up and Bo takes Colin aside. He calls Colin scum and states he knows more about the Dimera operation then he's letting on. He knows Colin knew about Tony's appearance, but Colin claims to only being there to be with his beautiful woman.

Jen called her exclusive in, happy to beat their competition to the big story. Poor Harold, who's apparently chained to his desk, haha, promises to hold the front page for the story. Jack ponders why Colin Murphy is still around when he could be rolling around the back seat of his car with Nicole as the two make out in the hallway.

John isn't buying Tony's story and Tony decides to tell everyone where Stefano is. Lexie asks when father is coming home and Tony tells her that their father is dead. He holds Lexie's face as she starts crying and the camera pans around other surprised faces as the credits roll...

TUESDAY, JUNE 25th***

Brady and Philip visit Chloe, Tony's taken to the cop shop for questioning and Jack and Jen do what they do best ;-)

CHLOE'S HOSPITAL ROOM
Alone in her hospital room, Chloe remembers Brady's visit as she puts on her cd player's headset. Philip stops by after visiting hours. (like his relaxed, casual hair style). She's not happy about his late visit, but he tells her he can take care of it. He finally admits the nurses gave him 1/2 hr. He opens a grocery bag and unloads books and games he got for her until Chloe stops him. She tells him he's trying too hard. She needs some time alone to deal with what's happening to her. Right now she needs to listen to some music, what she was going to do before he got there. He gets angry and hurt, knowing Brady brought her the cd player, and leaves. She looks down to turn on her cd player and looks up again, finding Brady had walked in as he smiles down at her. He offers to leave if she'd prefer to be alone, but she stops him and thanks him for the cd's. They relate how music is so soothing and discuss the selections he made for the cds he made for her. One of the composers was his mother's favorite, Scarlotti. He cues up the selection he's referring to for her to listen to. Later, Chloe falls asleep and Brady takes off her headphones and kisses her forehead. He turns off the light and instead of leaving, shuts the blinds, pulling up a chair to sit and watch her and smiles.

BRADY'S LOFT
A replay of Belle telling Brady how his visits brighten Chloe's day as his mother appears and tells him to open his heart and love. He stares at the snow globe as it's snowing outside the globe, and says he loves Chloe as a startled Belle looks up at her brother. She asks him about it and he tells her about the snow globe and the words just came out. She doesn't buy it. Words come from your brain and your heart. Belle calls and Marlena tells her all was well at the grill and will tell them about it the next day. Belle announces she's going to spend the night at his loft. Brady's totally fascinated with the snow globe as she talks, and she tells him she's glad he opened up to her. He leaves to take a walk as she smiles about her brother being in love, thinking it cute. Later, Belle's found one of Brady's shirts to sleep in and Philip pounds on the door. He storms in telling Belle he's not letting Brady move in on Chloe. Belle shocks him by telling him no, he's not. She tells him Chloe needs peace of mind which Brady gives her. She doesn't need Philip acting like a jerk. She tells him he's acting obsessive, but Philip just rants on about her knowing more about Chloe and Brady's feelings for each other. He leaves, determined to put a stop to it.

TITAN, NICOLE'S OFFICE
Nicole and Colin leave the PHG and go to her office. She demands answers, but he shuts her up by a big wet one on the mouth. Jack follows and observes, but leaves when the action starts. She hustles Colin's jacket and tie off and he closes and locks the door (new concept, ey?) before taking off his shirt and turning off the lights. He lights some convenient candles (oh yeah, all execs have some adorning their file cabinets, ha!). Clever use of the shadows from the candlelite as he starts peeling her dress off while lying her backwards on her desk (sure hope there aren't any push pins or one of those spikey note holders on it..ouch). Later we find them lustily going at it. Outside Jack returns and after hearing the elevator (wanta guess who gets off the elevator?) steps away from the door. Ok, it's Victor, BIG surprise, asking what Jack's doing there. Jack plays dumb about Nicole's whereabouts and hastily leaves when Victor asks him to. Nicole hears something in the reception area, but neither are concerned and go back to it. Victor walks in (thought the door was locked?) and turns on the lights. After they dressed, Victor orders Nicole to leave or she's fired. Colin tells her to leave, it's ok. Victor tells Colin he's investigated him and found he covers his past. Unless he stops seeing Nicole, he'll reveal all of Colin's secrets and will destroy him. Jack hears this from outside the door after he saw Nicole leave on the elevator.

In the PHG
In the PHG, Sami and Brandon walk in and see Tony Dimera as he tells Lexie about Stefano being dead. John chuckles, knowing that can't be true, but Tony states he was holding Stefano when he took his last breath. He gives a death certificate to Abe who reads what it is as Lexie cries in Tony's arms. Jennifer stands back in the room taking non-stop notes of
the scene unfolding in front of her as Jack returns, saying he just got some fresh air (when he was outside Nicole's door). He asks what happened in his absence and she tells him about Tony's speech. Marlena and John hug as Hope calls Shawn at the pub to make sure he and Zack are okay. She's relieved all's well there and the police are standing guard.

Tony (in his calm and relaxed manner) tells Lexie how he tracked down where Stefano was after all these years and was on his way to see him when he saw a car had gone off the road. He was surprised to find his father was in that car. He got to Stefano and was able to ask his dying father why he did what he did to him and Andre. Stefano said he did what he had
to do to protect his family and the last thing he asked Tony was to look after his sister before dying. John isn't buying it and suggests Roman investigate the certificate to see if it was forged.

Sami asks Marlena what she missed and Marlena brings her up to speed about Tony's speech. John walks over and tells Marlena he's going down to the "cop shop" (ROFLMAO!! I call it that all the time, but do they?)  He confronts Lexie about knowing Tony was coming and Brandon tells him to cool it as Marlena asks him to take her home. He steps aside (to the
men's room) to cool down. Lexie heads out with Celeste following her and Brandon supposedly going to the Salem Inn. Marlena has Bo check to see if John's okay. Bo checks and tells her John's not in there and she knows he's gone after Tony.

Jack corners Bo and Bo tells him (off the record) that he's going to keep an eye on Tony. Jen leaves to go to the station. Jack tells her he's got more to do there. Tony tells Lexie he's going to do what father asked and willingly goes with Abe and Roman who escort him to the cop shop for a chat. Brandon is there for Lexie to cry on his shoulder as Sami watches

COP SHOP
As Roman sends for proof of the death certificate's authenticity, Tony waits in Abe's office. Cameron Reese appears having been sent by Lexie, who walks in too. Tony doesn't shake hands with Cameron and says he doesn't need a lawyer. John arrives, demanding to see Tony and warns Tony if they don't hold him there, he's all his. Jen stands writing notes like crazy (no tape recorder Jen?) John and Lexie exchange barbs about her ambulance chasing lawyer and her change in personality. Lexie slips into a quiet area and Brandon offers to take her back to the Inn. She tells him she doesn't need him any more (slap) and her brother needs her. Marlena arrives as does Sami to check up on their men. John is relieved that Pat, the DA, arrives. Now in Abe's office, Roman, Pat, and Abe talk to Tony. Abe offers Pat his chair as Tony tells them he returned to Salem to help make amends for what his father did to everyone there. Later, Pat and Abe tell John there are no reasons to indict Tony and they have to let him go. John calmly tells Tony he knows he's guilty and will do whatever it takes to prove it. Lexie tells Abe she's taking her brother home (watch out Bart!). Before they leave, Sami tells Tony she knows he's innocent and his father set him up. She gives him her phone number offering her help.

Roman announces they're digging up Andre's grave (that was quick!). John knows it will be empty. Marlena, Sami and Hope nestle in the background watching. Sami tries to talk Brandon out of helping Lexie. She wonders if one has to be in trouble to get Brandon's attention and decides to create a situation where she needs him.

Roman tells everyone the coroner in Monte Carlo confirmed Stefano's death in a car accident as reactions on faces around the room are shown..some believing, some not, as the credits roll....

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26th***

Summary:
Jack and Jennifer's story hits the paper...Craig and Nancy search for a donor for Chloe...As Tony and Lexie mourn, John continues his pursuit of Tony...and Stefano returns home.

At the Penthouse...
Marlena comes down (in her robe) to find John at work on his laptop, vowing to stop Tony. Marlena is worried, but John tells her not to try and stop him, he is not backing off. John is sure that the DiMeras will come after them but he plans on striking first. Later, the door slams and Marlena comes rushing down (now dressed), thinking John has left. But he explains that it was Caprice leaving as he comes out with breakfast. He asks her to trust him to do what he needs to do. He gets his briefcase and goes to leave, telling her that he has work to do. When she questions him, he says trust me. After he leaves, she grabs her purse and takes off as well.

Over at the Haunted Loft...
Belle welcomes a new day to be awakened by knocking on the door. She finds Shawn there with coffee and bagels and they kiss. She tells him that she has decided not to go to Columbia early as she had planned, but instead plans on spending the summer in Salem. They mention the Horton-Brady picnic. Belle realizes that Brady isn't there (she thought he was asleep) and proceeds to tell Shawn about Brady admitting his love for Chloe (well, actually he guesses it). They kiss and talk about making their summer special. Belle picks up the paper as they see the headline and realizes that is why John made them leave the party last night. Caprice comes by with an envelope for Brady (she says he was working on something for her). When Belle asks her about the party, she has flashbacks of seeing Celeste there. Belle asks how John is taking the news of Tony as Shawn points out the story in the paper about the upcoming meteor shower. Caprice talks about how this could change people's lives the leaves.

At the Spectator...
Jack and Jennifer wake up (both with their heads on her desk) after working all night on the DiMera story. As they survey the paper, both are proud of their work on the biggest story of the year. They talk about despite all, how well they work together. Jen compliments him and asks him where he disappeared to last night while she was at the police station (remember, he was following Colin and Nicole). He covers and doesn't answer her as Harold comes by and congratulates them. Jack says something about all the surprised faces of the guests. Jen asks what he means and he asks if she noticed Colin's reaction. She reminds him that this story is NOT about Colin...the DiMera family is the story. But Jack is sure that Colin is involved some way. (LOL as he mocks him, calling him "Crocodile Dundee".) Jen wants him to go and interview someone about the meteor shower and to stop following Colin. She leaves with Harold, but after she is gone, Jack is even more determined that Colin has something to do with Tony DiMera and he plans on finding out what.

At the Hospital...
Craig is on the phone as an impatient Nancy is ready to go and visit with Chloe. Craig talks about how amazing she has been with Chloe as Nancy says that her priorities have changed and now Chloe has taken over the top spot. In her room, Brady awakens (still in the chair) to find Chloe watching him. She asks him why he was smiling and he tells her of a dream he was having of them sitting on a hill watching shooting stars. He tells her he thinks it means she will be a star someday. Craig and Nancy come in (a bit upset that he is there) and find out that he spent the night. Craig wants to talk to him in the hall as Chloe tells Nancy that with Brady there, she slept just fine. In the hall, Brady explains about last night and apologizes if he upset them. Finally, Craig thanks Brady for caring so much and for his help. They go back inside as Craig wants to talk to Chloe about her condition. She suspects it is bad news, as he tells her about how she will need a bone marrow transplant. He tells her that they will test as many people as possible as Brady wants to be tested as well. Craig gets beeped and he and Nancy leave. Later, Nancy is on the phone with her father and she tells Craig that both he and her mother have been tested and her brother is being tested as well, but so far, not matches. Craig is trying to locate Dr. Sykes (Nancy also asked her father about him) but so far, no luck. No one knows where he is. Back in her room, Chloe and Brady are flipping through the Intruder and reading about the meteor showers. Brady says he must be psychic and that may be the shooting stars he was dreaming about. They make a date to watch the showers together.

At Dimansion...
Tony picks up the paper to see the headline..."Tony DiMera Alive! Stefano DiMera Dead?" Lexie arrives to condolences from Eliana. Tony thanks Lexie for her support as she begs to know the truth about Stefano. Tony promises to never lie to her as he tells Lexie how Stefano was alive when he found him and he told Tony to tell Lexie that he will always be with her. He pulls out Stefano's Phoenix ring and tells of how Stefano told him to carry on the family name. Tony shows Lexie the article in the paper about the meteor showers and talks about it being a fitting memorial to their father. She says they need to plan a real memorial and she and Tony agree to plan the funeral together. She asks if his health is okay and he assures her that he is cured. As they talk, there is a knock, actually a pounding, at the door. Any guesses?...you got it, John is there. Tony invites him to breakfast, but John accuses him of trying to take over the DiMera empire. Marlena shows up and then Eliana announces that there is a man there who has their father. Shocked looks all around. It's actually an urn containing Stefano's ashes. Of course John doesn't believe them and wants to take the ashes to have them tested. Tony obliges and John and Marlena leave. After they are gone, Tony assures Lexie that he knows what he is doing...trust him. Outside, John tells Marlena he knows what he is doing and he will prove that Stefano is not dead. Marlena hopes that he is, saying that it will all finally be over. But John says with Tony back in Salem...the nightmare is still to come...and the credits roll.

THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 2002*** 1/2

Sami finds news ways to get into trouble, Nicole and Colin break up, and everyone wants Stefano's ashes.

TITAN
Victor is in his office, talking on the phone and happy to hear Bella's #1. Nicole walks in wearing a soft pink suit (her outfits are still short, but more professional at least) and donning a Marlena-style ponytail) and she overhears Victor congratulating Enzo (Bella's editor) on such a good job. She resents not getting kudos herself for her work on Bella, whereby Victor ponders out loud if she got any work done at all on that desk last night. She snaps back he knows how "wrapped up" she gets in her work. They exchange barbs about Colin and Victor's domineering her life before she leaves. Nico comes in and tells Victor that Colin is hounding Nicole day and night and is now in her office. Nicole opens her door, then tells Marie to hold all calls when she learns Colin's there. She finds him lying on her desk (oh paleez) and comments about never finding out where he's from.

Earlier, Colin arrives to see Nicole and lets himself in Nicole's office when Marie tells him Nicole's not there. He remembers Victor's warning about unveiling Colin's secrets if he continues seeing Nicole and promises to deal with Victor later for threatening him. Not wanting to ruin his plans however, he decides he'll have to let Nicole go for now. After she comes in (above), they talk about her job and her liking the power of her job. She gives him an A+ grade for the night before and he tells her she's off the charts. She asks why he was in her office just now...savoring the memories from last night? He tells her what they shared last night can't happen again. She's at first surprised, then po'd , knowing Victor's behind this, and interrogates him about what Victor threatened. He declares he's nothing to hide if Victor wants to investigate him and she figures he's still hot for Jennifer. She wished it was Victor who was responsible for this decision, but suggests he stay away from Jennifer as Brandon can tell him how she raked him over the coals. He offers his hand to shake goodbye as friends, but she pulls him into a kiss instead, then pushes him away, saying "goodbye mate". The kiss was a reminder of what he'll be missing and tells him to get out. She's furious how Victor interfered in her life again.

Nico asks Victor if he should get rid of Colin, but Victor decides to leave the "Frog Prince" alone to swim or sink before boiling him if needed. Ribbit...

Taking off her jacket, Nicole struts her stuff into Victor's office and sits on his desk. She tells him she told Colin their relationship is over as he's too slick. He asks if she's a free agent again and she reminds him he should know she's not "free". She suggests they spend the 4th of July together and invites him to join her at her desk when he decides. Remembering what she does on her desk, he comments on it and she suggests he take a chance to see what'll happen, ha. They both know the other has an agenda. She promises to declare her own declaration of independence on the 4th and he'll enjoy finding out what she's up to.

DIMANSION
Tony and Lexie argue about his Stefano's ashes to John. He's confident all will work out and she demands to know what he knows that she doesn't. He insists he wants to rehabilitate their family and it's reputation, saying Stefano would have agreed with what he's doing. Lexie storms out to do what she feels needs to be done.

HOSPITAL
Sami fumes as she overhears Brandon checking up on Lexie on the payphone. She got rid of Jennifer, now it's time to get rid of Lexie. He rushes off to DiMansion to check on Lexie as Sami lurks in the shrubs, hearing him tell the nurse he's taking a break.

COP SHOP
John escorts Stefano (guess he got to do it one way or the other) to the cop shop and hands his urn over to Bo, Roman and Abe..who are all WORKING (no kidding!)! He explains how Tony gave him the ashes and wants DNA work done on it. Abe uses logic saying they can't do it as Tony gave the urn to John, NOT the police (guess John has the pocket change for another DNA test, even if he is just wearing a white t-shirt). Roman says you can't get DNA results after someone's cremated, but Bo stares in the urn, commenting on some large bone pieces (eww). LOL as he says it even "smells" like DiMera and starts to sneeze saying he's allergic as John grabs the urn out of Bo's hands before they're dispersed all over Abe's office. Bo was kidding (good one Bo!!) as Roman and Bo laugh while Abe freaks a bit (then laughs). They all agree John should go ahead and have them analyzed. John says he'll call Shane and have the ISA analyze the ashes when Lexie walks in (you would think they would have some type of reception desk at the cop shop where civilians can't just walk into the detectives area, much less the commanders office w/o being announced, wouldn't ya?). She calls them barbarians and demands her father's ashes back. She moans to Abe about losing her son, now her father. Abe promises to return the ashes safely to them, but Tony is the owner of the ashes and gave them to John. She grabs at the urn, but John was quicker. She rants about how everyone has ganged up on her just because she tried to save her son (Bo corrects whose son he is!). They tell her Stefano wasn't above doing this to her and Abe asks for time alone with Lexie. She verbally stabs Abe by saying he never loved her or he wouldn't have let them take their son away. She asks if it doesn't kill him to see another man holding his son and calling him son. Abe tells her how he still listens for Isaac at night, but it helps that that man is Bo. He asks if she can't see the truth or anyone elses pain but her own. He did love the child they raised and he loves her and always will. She tells him to prove it by giving back her father's ashes (hopefully John's scooped some in an envelope in the outer office, just in case ;-) She disses Abe about his cruelty and disrespect and stomps out as the other 3 return to his office. Abe fears Lexie's caught in the DiMera web forever now that Stefano's son has returned.

Bo rushes in Tony's transcript from the night before and goes to take it over for Tony's signature. John asks him to check in with him when he returns (excuse me?) and Bo agrees. John wants to lock up the ashes and Abe promises they won't go anywhere (uh oh, we've heard that before). Roman heads off to Aremid (for newbies, that's Dimera backwards) and asks John to say hi to Shane for him (hey, bring Shane to Salem, we'd love to say hi too :-)

BACK AT DIMANSION
Tony calls someone about Lexie's old DiMera ways as Iliana interrupts, announcing an insistent visitor. Sami walks in, announcing herself as the local welcome wagon. He didn't call the WW, but Sami tells him she took the initiative. He comments on her being all grown up now and she tells him she wants to be his friend. He tells her John figures he tried to kill him, Bo blames him for every tragedy that's happened to his family, and Marlena...he doesn't want to go there...(how about her father, Roman?). She tells him her family wouldn't approve of what she's doing (ya think?), but she's been the "small town" outcast, just like he is. Brandon makes a noisy entrance and Sami acts surprised that he's there. Tony's just confused what they're both doing there. Brandon pulls Sami aside, telling her if she's trying to make him jealous with Tony, it won't work. She tells him Tony's her friend (love Tony's amused little response in background, "not true"). Brandon tells her that her dangerous games aren't going to work. Brandon grabs Sami to get her out of there and she whacks her ankle on something, so Brandon helps her out. (According to Soap Opera Digest, Alison Sweeney hurt her ankle colliding with Justin (Colin) in real life during the celebrity basketball game during fan weekend in LA, so this is how they'll explain her limping on show) Tony tells her to call first next time and after they leave, ponders if Sami Brady might be useful to his family. Sami and Brandon return to the hospital, arguing about her showing up at Dimansion. He warns her to stay away from there.

Lexie returns and tells Tony how she'll protect him being everyone's against him. They laugh about being DiMeras. He answers the door (she tells him to let Iliana do it) but he figuring he knows who it is and there stands Colin Murphy. Tony and Colin stare at each other as Lexie joins them, asking Colin why he's there. Bo walks up, wanting to know the answer to that as well...as the credits roll............

Summary:
Tony is rushed to the hospital...John is on a new mission...Sami hatches a new plot...Philip and Brady make amends as all the kids decide to come together to help Chloe. Another day of thumbs-up performances from Patrika Darbo and Kevin Spirtas (Nancy & Craig).

Belle & Shawn...
Belle and Shawn are in the woods (I think Belle refers to it later as Lookout Point). He has a surprise picnic planned for her. As he gets things ready, she jokingly says he must be watching Martha Stewart (who's life, BTW, is a real soap opera now, huh?) There is lots of talk between them, with him apologizing more, and Belle talks about broken hearts, etc. She pulls out the heart that Shawn had made for their snowman (she had torn it in two) and asks him to help her put it back together. He holds it as she tapes it, but he explains that he is still sorry for hurting her. He promises to never do it again. They kiss and watch the stars and talk about the upcoming meteor shower and how Caprice predicted it will change their lives. She tells him about a dream she had where she was going on an amazing adventure to another world (is this a fore-shadowing of things to come?) She says in her dream a hand took hers and began to lead her away and that when she woke up, she had a feeling of disappointment. Shawn makes light of it as they kiss.

Over at DiMansion...
There is a replay of Colin showing up with Bo asking why he is there. Colin covers and says (that being a doctor) he is there to talk to Tony about his illness and his treatment. Tony doesn't believe him, but Lexie convinces him to let Colin in, as Colin makes a couple of cracks to Bo about his being so suspicious of him and that he is wasting his time. Tony tells Colin thanks, but no thanks...he doesn't need him. Lexie tries to convince Tony to let Colin examine him, but Tony collapses and all three of them rush him to the hospital.

At the Penthouse...
Marlena is reading the paper (the story about the meteor shower is front page) when John comes come. She has been worried about him, but he doesn't offer any explanations as to where he has been and what he has been up to. He informs her that he will be leaving again and won't be back tonight and for her not to ask what he is up to. They aren't seen or heard from again until near the end of the show, when John comes down the stairs dressed in black from head to toe (complete with black gloves). Marlena jokes, saying he looks like he belongs in his own comic strip "John Black to the Rescue". He is NOT amused and tells her that he knows what he is doing. He tells her not to worry, he is NOT Commando Black, but is going to use his skills to bring down Stefano DiMera's son. (O-KAY...whatever). With a kiss, he is out the door, leaving Marlena with a worried look on her face.

Over at the Hospital...
Nancy sobs as she reads Chloe's letter (actually her will). Craig comes in, telling her that he has had no luck in locating Dr. Sykes as Nancy shows him the will. A tearful Nancy reads on until she can't continue and hands it over to Craig. (Patrika is really rocking here). Craig reads in the will where Chloe speaks directly to Nancy, saying that she understands why she gave her up and bequeaths the name "Mom" to her, wishing she had used it more. Chloe begins to stir, so Nancy replaces the letter and rushes off, not wanting Chloe to see her cry. When she wakes up, Chloe realizes that Nancy read it, but she is not angry. Craig, sitting on the bed, puts his arm around her and tells her not to give up hope. She tells him that she trusts him and his staff and tells him that she knows that he is a great doctor...and DAD. She apologizes for coming into their lives and being such a brat and thanks him for being there for her and that she loves him. He tells her about being on the national donor list and promises her that they will find a match for her.

Brady is hanging out by the nurses station awaiting the results of his blood test, when Philip rushes up and they get into an ugly scene over Chloe. They argue over how Philip dated Cynthia as Philip tries to explain that he did it for Chloe. Lots of ugly words are being exchanged as Nancy comes in and breaks them up. She says only God knows why Chloe loves them both as she lets it slip that she read it in her will. She begs them not to say anything to Chloe about it and tells them that Chloe needs them right now to help keep her spirits up. They both apologize to Nancy and decide to put aside their differences for the common good. Brady tells Philip about being tested and he agrees to do it as well and Nancy is touched. They come to a truce and agree...no more fighting.

Later, they come into Chloe's room to help cheer her up and clown around, prompting her to ask just WHEN they became such good friends. Craig leaves them as they continue to goof off (they say something about the Phil and Brady Show and dance around), making Chloe smile. Belle and Shawn come by and tell of their picnic and wanted to bring desert by and share it with Chloe. It's brownies...her favorite. Brady assures Belle that all is okay between him and Philip. They tell her and Shawn about being tested as they agree to do the same. Belle has an idea for a bone marrow drive and all start making plans. Chloe is overwhelmed and tells them that she loves them all.

Later, Craig and Nancy talk about how hard it is finding Chloe's father and possibly a sibling. They comment that it's like he has fallen off the face of the earth. Craig sees Bo and gets an idea. He approaches Bo, telling him that they need his help. Later, Craig reports back to Nancy, saying that Bo has agreed to do what he can.

Elsewhere in the Hospital...
Sami and Brandon are arguing over Tony, with him asking just WHY she would want to put herself in danger. She defends Tony, claiming he has done no wrong and that they are like spirits (comparing when she was falsely accused of murder). Brandon calls her dumb but she says that he and the rest of Salem are wrong about Tony. He won't let her leave and wants her to promise to stay clear of Tony. She tells him that it is an NYB (none of your business). He tells her that when she is in trouble, do NOT call his name for help. As they are talking, Tony is rushed in on a gurney, along with Colin, Lexie and Bo. Sami hounds Lexie to find out what is wrong, but she just brushes her off. In the ER, Colin tries to revive Tony (who is in a trance-like state) as Lexie worries and Bo watches with a suspicious eye. Colin has no idea what is wrong with the non-responsive Tony (as Sami eaves drops from outside). Bo comes out and asks what she is up to. Sami claims that she is only curious as Bo warns her to watch her step around Tony. Tony comes to, remembering nothing. They question him, but he only wants to return to the mansion and gets up and walks off. He assures Lexie that he is okay as Bo questions him, but he just walks on past him. She tells Colin to go and check on him. Bo asks Lexie whey she is going along with Tony's ruse, he knows he is just faking it. By now Brandon is eaves dropping as well. Bo says he believes that Tony is up to something, which leads him and Lexie to get into an argument over Zack. Bo says that all of the Dimeras are liars. Brandon comes out of hiding and breaks it up which prompts Bo to ask WHY he is always inteferring. Bo leaves as Brandon hugs a distraught Lexie and offers her a ride to the Salem Inn. Sami is watching this and is stewing in her juices. She says that she must do something really outrageous to get Brandon's attention...like him finding her in Tony's bed. Watch out...Sami's wheels are turning!

Back to DiMansion...
In the last segment, Tony returns to the mansion, followed by Colin who congratulates him on his performance and helps himself to a drink. Tony informs him that he is tired and doesn't want to talk right now, but they will talk soon. After he ushers Colin out, Tony asks why does this keep happening (so is he faking or not???) He decides to go to bed and get some rest as he turns off the lights and heads upstairs. Outside, Commando Black is busy breaking in to the house. He comes inside and starts looking around...as the credits roll.
