Summary:
Emotionally charged episode as everyone learns of Chloe's illness...Sami rakes Jennifer over the coals for her behavior...Lexie turns to Abe...and John goes on a rampage at DiMansion.

Over at DiMansion...
John storms the place in a rage, followed by Marlena, who is trying to stop him and reason with him. She asks what he hopes to accomplish, but he isn't paying much attention to her concerns. John is storming upstairs as Roman arrives and finds a shaken Marlena, who explains that John is in his "mercenary" mode. She worries, not wanting John to hunt down Stefano alone. Roman promises to help. John tells them that he can handle it himself. Meanwhile, Rolf and Bart are watching them on closed-circuit tv. Rolf gets a call on the "bat phone" (well, it IS red) and gets instructions as to what to do. Later, we see John and Roman searching the basement, with John saying that he knows there is a secret door somewhere. They find it AND the secret room, but it is empty...completely cleaned out. Marlena comes in as they continue to search. John finds a slip of paper on the floor and says that it is part of an order form for some kind of wine (which happens to be Stefano's favorite) that is supposed to be delivered later in the week. John says he isn't there, but he is on his way. Rolf and Bart are somewhere else now as Rolf bids him farewell, saying he has to leave town for a while. Bart wants to go with, but Rolf tells him that he is to stay there and watch out after Lexie and wait for further instructions.

The Carvers...
Brandon wakes up to find Lexie gone from the motel (at least I think it's a motel). He finds a note explaining that she has gone to Abe. Over at the Carver place, Abe is asleep in his chair as Lexie shakes him to wake him up. As he sees her standing there, he thinks it is a dream. When he finally wakes up, she begs him to hear her out. She (calmly) tries to explain/justify her actions, saying she did it all out of love to help keep their family together. She tells him that now she has accepted that she has lost Isaac. She begins to cry as Abe holds her, but Brandon rushes in, yelling for Abe to let her go. Abe lashes out at Brandon as he realizes that he has been helping Lexie all along. They begin arguing as Lexie begs them to stop fighting. Brandon apologizes for bursting in and accusing Abe. Abe talks about how it almost killed him to commit Lexie, but thought it was for her own good. She asks what he is going to do now. He explains that she has done some terrible things and that the law holds her accountable. She picks up the phone and tells him to call and turn her in. Later, a doctor arrives and as Abe lets him in, the phone rings. Lexie answers it to find Rolf on the other end. He tells her that she will get out of this mess...her father will see to that. She tells them that it was a wrong number. She swears she is fine and is now ready to face whatever happens to her.

At the Full Moon...
As Jack lies on the floor bleeding, Jennifer says "Die, Jack". Sami is hysterical as Jen repeats herself "DYE, Jack...it's red dye". Jack tells Sami that he is okay. Harry and Iris are laughing, explaining that it was all a game. Yes, it's an overnight Murder Mystery Game. Colin was tipped off by the phone call (it was someone looking to make reservations). The way it works is: if people "live" through the night, their vacation is free. Jack has questions, but Iris explains that Brandon filled them in on a few details, like "Deverocks" and the purple boa, to make it more personal. Jack is furious and would like to get his hands on Brandon right now. Harry and Iris excuse themselves as Jack demands to know if Jen was in on it all along. She swears she just found out herself and thought that it was just another one of Jack's schemes. Sami takes up for Brandon, blaming Jen for all of this and explodes all over her (which at the moment, I think Jen rightly deserves!) Sami says that it is Jen who has been playing games ever since she came back to Salem and continues on to lay her out pretty good, saying that she has been stringing 3 men along all at once. As Sami rants at her, Jen fires back a time or two, but after that has little to say, perhaps realizing that Sami has her number. Sami says that Jen likes to play the game, but her problem is that she is afraid to score. Finally Jack stops Sami, but the damage has already been done. He and Sami decide it's time to leave and go upstairs to get their things. A shaken Jen puts in a call to Brandon, telling him that they need to talk. Outside, Colin is thrilled with Sami's tirade. Sami sits on the stairway listening to Jen's call to Brandon. She says "perfect...it won't be long now."

At the Hospital...
Craig and Nancy have just gotten the news about Chloe's tests and decide to go to the dance to get her. On their way out, Philip comes into the ER carrying Chloe, followed by Belle and Shawn. Brady also arrives as all are upset and tempers flare as Belle tries to calm everyone down. As they all wonder what is going on, Shawn tries to comfort Belle, but Brady stops him. In the ER, Chloe revives as Craig and Nancy explain what happened. She asks about the test results as Craig confirms her worst fears...she does indeed have leukemia. Nancy holds her daughter tight as she assures her that they are going to fight this will all they have. Craig explains about treatment and they tell her that her friends are there too. Chloe asks Nancy to go and tell them what is happening. In the lobby, Belle explains to Brady and Philip about what happened with Shawn. Nancy comes out and tearfully tells them what they know as Belle breaks down in Nancy's arms. Belle asks to go and see her but Brady says not a word and storms out of the hospital. Philip takes another approach and jumps Craig, blaming him for not realizing what was wrong with Chloe sooner. He and Craig argue as Philip vows to see her through this. He plans on calling his dad and getting the best doctor in the country to Salem. They yell at each other as Craig tries to convince him that they have an excellent doctor in Salem and that he is going to see to it that Chloe gets the best care possible. In the exam room, Belle hugs Chloe tight as she sobs. Philip calls Victor and asks for help. After a few minutes, Chloe asks Belle if she could leave her alone, but Belle refuses to let her shut her out. She swears not to let her go through this alone. Chloe promises not to do that this time. Outside, Brady throws a temper tantrum, kicking boxes and beating on the walls. Shawn finds him out there and tries to help, but Brady doesn't want to hear it. Shawn tells him that he made a huge mistake that lead to hurting Belle and he turned his back on her. He tells him not to turn his back on Chloe now...she needs him...she needs all of them. Philip goes to see Chloe and tells her that he called his dad for help. But she tells him that she has the best doctor and trusts Craig. He asks what can he do. She gives him the necklace and asks him to hold on to it and keep it safe. He takes it, but vows to put it back on her soon when she gets better. With a kiss on the forehead, he leaves. Nancy comes back and dotes on her, which gets a smile from Chloe. Brady comes in and tries to cheer her up with some really corny jokes, which gets a smile from her. Craig returns with a wheelchair to take her for treatment. As they wheel her out through the lobby, Chloe thanks her friends for being there and as she chokes back the tears. As Craig and Nancy wheel her away, she looks back and smiles...and the credits roll.

A new day in Salem as Chloe's friends and family deal with her illness. The pub is filled with people for Bart to eavesdrop on with his Jack bug. Brady gets a surprise visitor.

Nicole goes jogging and runs into Colin. He invites her to breakfast and she tears into him for using her. He challenges her to tell him she's never used men for similar purposes. She agrees to go inside the pub for coffee as he promises to tell her what he's up to. Inside he suggests an alliance (aha, more Survivor fans?) where they can help each other. She complains about the poor service at the pub as he's lost in thought. As she's about to leave Kate steps over to brighten their day (ha) and he gets paged to the hospital and leaves.

John returns home and finds Marlena and Belle asleep on the couches. Belle's still in her LB gown sleeping while Marlena tells John about being up with Belle all night, talking about Chloe. Marlena's calendar is clear that morning and John tells her he has a meeting. They argue about her concern for what he's up to with the Dimeras as it wakes Belle up. They tell her they're not fighting and go over to reassure Belle all's well. He heads off to his meeting (all in black, no suit). Belle wants to go see Chloe and Marlena tells her that Chloe's had her first chemo and allowed no visitors right now. Belle tells her mom about Shawn not sleeping with Jan and what happened. Belle tells her mom how perfect everything felt while she was dancing with Shawn and saw Chloe dancing with Philip. Marlena felt Shawn should have reported the incident (why, Paul was dead?).

Back to the pub

The Brady Pub has been open 10 years. Roman is enjoying another free meal (breakfast) and sees Kate at a table. After raving over the pub's hash browns to his mom, he steps over to say hello and she taunts him about meeting someone there. Bart turns on his jack speaker and hears Roman's voice. John joins them and agrees to talk with Roman before he leaves about what happened the night before. He tells Kate it's not BB business he wants to discuss and asks her not to tell Marlena. Bart's ears perk up at that comment. Turns out John wants some help with a surprise anniversary party for Marlena. He suggests an early party (this Friday) even thought their anniversary is weeks away and she gulps, sort of, but agrees. He steps up to the counter to chat with John and Bart tries typing what they say (amazing how that Jack In the Box follows the key conversations and doesn't pick up any of the other's in the pub, haha) Roman tells his mother he doesn't trust cousin Colin.

John returns to the table and mentions the meteor shower as John tells Kate he wants to keep his family safe and show the love of his life a night she won't forget. Marlena overhears and wants to hear more about that (she does get around today!!) Kate leaves to start on that project they discussed as Marlena sits down, Kate and Nicole exchange quick barbs outside. John tells Marlena he's sure Stefano's returning. Bart emails Rolf and asks if they should take John out as he's getting too close for comfort.

At the hospital....
Craig finds Nancy researching Chloe's disease. He tells her to go home and rest, but she's determined to do everything she can to help save her daughter's life.

Chloe wakes up in the hospital with an IV in her arm. Brenda delivers A HUGE bunch of red roses (from Philip) and Chloe's told no visitor's are allowed for a while to give her time to rest but that Philip had stopped by this morning. Nancy and Craig arrive to check on her. Before going to the pub above, Marlena stopped by to check on Nancy and a sleeping Chloe. She offers her help to Nancy and Chloe at any time as Nancy strokes Chloe's hair. Craig asks Nancy to step out and is worried about her not getting any rest. She wants to be there when Chloe wakes up. Colin joins them (nice of him to show up) and Nancy looks in at her sleeping daughter through the door. Colin goes in and Chloe asks how much longer she's going to feel like this. He tells the flu like symptoms will last about another week or 10 days until the next round of chemo. He asks about the flowers and sure she has lots of boyfriends. She wonders why he's not married (touché) and he makes a quick exit.

Nicole runs into Colin in the hospital as she's there to see Brandon. She agrees to have a drink with him if he wants and tells him to call.

Later in Craig's office, Nancy is surfing the web about leukemia. The medical terminology is confusing, so Craig tells Nancy if the chemo doesn't destroy all the leukemia cells, the only other step is a bone marrow transplant. Nancy wants to be tested and he tells her parents rarely match, but a sibling, even a half sibling, are the best chance Chloe's got. He wants to know who Chloe's father is as it may be Chloe's only chance. She agrees to tell him only if she's not a match and they leave to test Nancy.

At the loft...
Brady returns home after a night at the hospital and a long walk. He ponders who sent him the message to go to the hospital. He goes to the computer, which he left running all night on-line apparently, and finds the message is gone. He surfs leukemia on the internet to do some of his own research. Belle arrives and she asks how he knew to go to the hospital. He tells her about the message he got. She asks if he got an instant message or something. (I like her hair curlier as it is today) They both agree Chloe's a survivor and will beat this thing. She's off to buy something to have delivered to Chloe to let her know she's thinking about her. Alone, Brady asks God to help Chloe and to help him as we see Isabella appear in glowing light watching her son. He feels a presence as the credits roll....

A new day in Salem, as many of it's residents make decisions about changing their lives.

THE BRADY PUB
The Brady Pub is the place to go today, as first Shawn and Belle arrive, getting the royal welcome from Caroline & Grampa Shawn. They are led to a booth, where a floral centerpiece is sitting, complete with their (Belle & Shawn's) symbolic snowman, handmade by Shawn himself. Belle is touched, and tho Shawn tries to once more say how sorry he is, Belle wants to just forget it. He gives her a graduation gift, lovely earrings, to remind her of the heart on their snowman. He then pulls out a pair of sunglasses, talking about going to Pepperdine, and hoping Belle will change her mind about Columbia and go there, too. But Belle says no, she is not going to allow her life to be all about Shawn any more, she wants to be "me". So she is going to miss him, look forward to seeing him when she comes back for holidays, etc. but she is going to Columbia. She then lets him know she is taking summer classes and leaves in a couple weeks. They leave, and outside tell each other once more that they love each other.

IN THE HOSPITAL CAFETERIA
In the hospital cafeteria, Sami is waiting for Brandon to arrive, and when he does, cannot wait to begin blabbing away. She scolds him for setting her up. Brandon tells her she deserved it, cause she wanted to ruin his weekend, but Sami says people at that place usually KNOW they are in a murder mystery place, and even the proprietors were astonished to find they did not know. She gleefully mentions Jen showing up w/Colin to save Jack....and Brandon is surprised. Sami pretends she did not know Jen had not told him (Hey Brandon, have you told Jen about running to Lexie?) Sami leaves, happy with the seeds she has planted. She wants Brandon for herself.
 

AT JEN'S HOUSE
At  Jen's House, Abbie is asking her mom if she went mountain hiking at Green Mountain Lodge (LOL on mountains in the Midwest, anywhere near Illinois & the Cubs - some hills and bluffs maybe.) & Jen says no, but tells her to get ready for her all day trip with Great Gran. Alice says it is a surprise, and when Abbie scampers off, Jen tells Alice her weekend was a disaster, and knows just what her Gran is gonna say. Jen tells Gran how Sami accused her of juggling 3 men, cause she cannot make a commitment, and that it was true. Just then Brandon calls and asks to meet Jen at the Pub.

ABE ARRIVES AT THE HOSPITAL
Abe arrives at the hospital pysch ward, and Lexie runs up, happily telling him she has been released and can go home. Abe is surprised, but the doctor comes up, saying Lexie has improved, has agreed to intensive outside psycho therapy and can go home. They leave (Lexie still in her hospital gown, but has been given her clothes), and we next see them in cafeteria, where Lexie seems to have put on a sweatshirt over her gown. Lexie tells Abe she is suing the hospital over the baby switch, and is not protecting her father, as she has not seen him in months. Abe informs her of John's belief that Stef is on the move. Abe says let's go home, but Lexie tells him, she loves him, but is not going to live with him...she will be better off at the Salem Inn. They are separating. Brandon comes in, she gives him big hug, thanks him for his help (Abe does not look too happy here) and goes to call her mother. Abe tells Brandon about Lexie suing the hospital over the baby switch & Brandon is not pleased at all.....he told her not to go forth with that idea.

AT DIMANSION......
Bart is happily playing lord of the manor, dressing gown, brandy snifter, etc. A knock at the door, and in comes Lexie's shrink. He has come for his money, & Bart pays him off, making him promise not to tell anyone. He leaves, and Lexie arrives. Bart is happy to see her, telling her she just missed her doctor. He tells her Rolf left after getting an important call, and Lexie figures that her father arranged for her release and is coming home. (Bart does a terrific imitation of Rolf here, lol). She says no one must know, she will only communicate by phone and is going to Salem Inn. Her father is coming to help her get her baby back. She leaves to meet Celeste, while Bart promises to keep an eye on things in the secret room. (thought that was dismantled?)

BACK AT THE PUB, Brandon comes in and Jen asks if they can talk about "us". Brandon says there is no us. As they sit, Brandon tells her this is just not working out, he has tried to be patient, etc. Jen agrees, and they talk seriously about the men in her life. Brandon tells her that Sami filled him in about the B&B, & Jen tells him it was wrong of him to make Jack think he was being pursued by the mob. Brandon's pager goes off (for Lexie....see above) and he gets up to leave, telling Jen that both Jack & Colin don't deserve her, she is out of their league. Jen is in tears as Caroline sits with her a minute, but Colin comes in, and joins Jen. She asks if he is following her, & he says no, just came for lunch, but he had stopped at the paper looking for her. She just looks at him, saying I don't want to ever talk to you, gets up and leaves. Pop Shawn comes over, telling Colin that Jennifer is well liked, and he knows about Colin's reputation w/women in Ireland. Jennifer is not to be toyed with. He leaves, and Colin mutters that no, he is not planning on toying w/Jen....but something much better.

AT THE SPECTATOR,
At the Spectator, Jack is remembering Sami reading the riot act to Jen at the B&B. Harold comes up, mentioning Jack doing the story on the meteor showers due to arrive, but all excited cause Jen has given him the story on the annual "Day of Compassion" (he is wearing a red ribbon) to write. Jack listens as Harold reads some of what he has already written, about HIV and Aids Awareness, very heartfelt. Harold asks if Jack will proof it when done, and Jack agrees. Jack spots Colin looking into Jen's office, and asks him what he wants. Colin informs Jack that Jen doesn't love him, she has told him so in Africa, and that Jack should stop trying to get Jen back with his guilt trips about their child together, etc. etc. He departs.
Sami bursts in, all excited, telling Jack to get up and go make his play for Jen. But Jack refuses, telling Sami NO. Jack is done. He still loves Jen, but the pursuit of Jen is over. Sami is having a fit, but Jack is adamant, saying he is moving on. Sami tells him that is impossible, cause he will be thinking about Jen while dating another woman, and would not even be able to kiss her w/o thinking of Jen. (Uh, oh, I know what is coming). Jack insists she is wrong, and they banter back and forth, as Jack finally says, I"ll prove it to you.....as he grabs Sami and plants a big kiss on her. Cue Jen to arrive at that moment, and looking shocked as she watches.
And the credits roll.

Summary:
Major developments for Jack and Jen as they reach a crossroads in their relationship...Sami sets out on a new quest...Plans are underway for the big party as John fears Stefano...and Lexie has new hope for the future.

NOTE: Sorry, everyone, but Linda had some "technical problems" this morning and put out an SOS. This will be kind of short, because I'm working without a net here! ;-)

At the Spectator...
We get a replay of Jack kissing Sami with Jennifer walking in and seeing it all. When the kiss is over, Sami slaps him hard in the face, asking what does he think he is doing. Jen wants to know that as well. Sami practically accuses Jen of being jealous. She asks Jen what is wrong...did she and Brandon have a fight? Jen tells her no, they broke up (which delights Sami). With renewed hope, she takes off in a hurry to find Brandon before someone else snatches him up. Jack follows Jen into her office for a SERIOUS talk. (Thumbs up to Matt...I didn't think he could be that serious). He pours his heart out to her and tells her that he can't do this anymore...he is finished. He admits that he loves her still and probably will until he dies, but he can't compete for her anymore. Jen listens (teary eyed) as Jack tells her no more games...if she decides she wants a life with him, it is up to her. But, he warns her, not to wait too long...for he will be looking. Later, he is working on his story and she comes with some minor changes (which he has already made). He notes that despite all their personal problems...at work they have always clicked. She offers him a story of a lifetime...about Stefano DiMera. Of course, Jack is thrilled at the opportunity.

Over at Salem PD...
John shows up to talk to Abe and Roman about security for the party. He wants to be included in their investigation, but Abe is a bit reluctant. He eventually caves, but tells John that he reports to BOTH him and Roman. John seems to be okay with that. John invites Abe to the party and dances around it, but Roman takes the hint and says he WON'T be there. John thanks him for understanding. An officer tells Abe that Lexie has been spotted checking in at the Salem Inn (accompanied by Brandon Walker). Sami (in the hallway) overhears this and goes to make a mad dash over there. Roman tries to talk to her, but no time for dear old dad...she's on a mission.

At the Brady Pub...
Colin pulls grandpa Shawn aside and asks about Bo and Hope. He tells him to warn them not to come back to town just yet. It seems that Shawn had talked to them and since they found out that Lexie was back in the psych ward, it was safe. Colin informs him that Lexie is out, but Shawn says they are on their way. (WHAT??? Last time I checked, both Bo AND Hope had cell phones. No one can call them?...or even meet them at the dock and warn them?) Colin tells Shawn that there is movement in the DiMera organization and that it will be big. Nosey Nicole overhears and wants to know what they are talking about. They cover and say they are talking about the meteor shower. Colin and Nicole return to their table and as they are talking, he gets a mysterious phone call. She questions him, but he offers nothing. (BTW, Bart is eaves dropping again today through the butt-ugly jack in the box and is really turned on by Nicole's sexy talk). Colin invites her to dinner (I think they are going to the Penthouse Grill...were they even invited to the party?...I don't think Kate would invite Nicole. But then I may have misunderstood). She tells Colin if he is a good boy, she will show him something more exciting than the meteor shower. He asks "what if I'm bad?"...and she replies..."even better!" (LOL as Bart is really having trouble now...he gets a phone call, informing on someone's arrival in Salem). BTW, the "knuckle-cracker" is back today outside the pub watching all that's going on inside. (In case you haven't heard WHO it is just yet...I won't spoil it for you. He will be revealed on Friday's show).

At the Salem Inn...
After a quick trip to DiMansion to get her things, Lexie checks in at the Salem Inn. But first, while at home, John comes by and they get into it big-time about her AND Stefano. (I can't remember all that is said between the 2, but trust me...it is UGLY) He calls Lexie a liar and vows to send her, Brandon and Stefano all to prision. When she goes into her "poor me" routine, John mocks her and pretends to cry. (No love lost between these two!) Sami arrives at the Inn, looking for Brandon, but (for once) the bell hop won't tell her what room they are in. (LOL as she describes Lexie...about this tall...African-American, with LOTS of attitude. Must be a good description as the bell hop knows EXACTLY who she is talking about!) As Sami wanders the halls trying to find them, Lexie gets a special delivery envelope. There's a note inside and as she reads it, she says that everything is fine now. She decides to share with Brandon, as long as he doesn't tell anyone. They hug (as Sami watches and fumes). To herself, she says "Damn you Lexie...Brandon is mine. I'll bet you out of his life if it is the last thing on earth I do." Inside, Lexie reads the note and is thrilled. She turns to Brandon and says "Father is coming home...tonight!" A huge smile comes across her face...as the credits roll.

A lot of stuff going on tomorrow. Salemites prepare for John and Marlena's anniversary party as concerns of Stefano's return is discussed. Thumbs up to Patrika Darbo for an excellent performance as Nancy tells Craig about the night she was raped by Chloe's father. The Phoenix rises at the end of the show.

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Belle, Mimi and Brady..all dressed up for the anniversary party, visit Chloe in the hospital. Belle admires Philip's roses and Chloe tells them he also got her a dvd player and is out shopping for dvd's for her. Brady gives her a portable cd player with some cds, some classical, some not. Belle and Mimi brought her magazines and books, but head off to the gift shop for the latest Bella Magazine with summer fashions in it. Chloe asks about his hand and what girl did he rescue this time? He tells her she's the only girl he wants to rescue and they have to get her well and out of there. She tells him they both know that might not happen. He gives her a pep talk about beating this thing. After Belle and Mimi return from the gift shop, Chloe tells Brady and Belle to get to their party and Mimi offers to stay until Philip returns and Chloe accepts. Later Mimi tells Chloe about Love Story being on and raves about it being a great movie. Chloe reminds her the girl dies in the end from leukemia. Chloe is a good sport and asks what else is on. Mimi tells her The Turning Point about a young girl going to NYC and becoming a star. Chloe said it's one of her favorites, but doubt that will happen to her as Mimi compares her with the movie plot. Mimi disagrees.

THE WESLEY'S
Craig gets Chloe's lab results after her first round of chemo, from the oncologist. The chemo will put Chloe in remission, but...neither he or Nancy's were a match for bone marrow doners. He mentions a DNA test was done as well, so it appears confirmed he's not Chloe's father. There's a 25% chance a half ˆsib could be a doner and he asks her to tell him who Chloe's father is. She tells him she was a freshman in college and home on a break after their horrible fight about her father. In tears, she tells them about how everyone called their relationship puppy love. Her parents had a dinner party and one of her father's doctor friends asked what was wrong and she told him. After her parents went to bed she told him all about Craig. While listening he kept refilling her wine glass and then offered to take her for a drive to help her feel better. They ended up at his house and that's where it happened. Craig comforts Nancy, telling her he's sorry. She tells him about having bad thoughts about the Dr.'s house being dark and quiet and wanted to go home..but he kept asking about Craig and then forced himself on her, even ripping Craig's necklace off her neck. Choking with sobs she describes how her father's friend hurt her. Softly Craig asks why she never told anyone about it. She tells him she couldn't being it was a family friend and how she told herself that if she didn't tell anyone, she could just go back to school and get back with him and try to forget it happened. Then she found out she was pregnant, with Chloe. Craig wants the name of the son of bitch that did this to her as he holds her close as she cries on his shoulder. She reluctantly tells him Dr. Frederick Sykes. Craig picks up the phone, hoping to find the Dr. to see if he can help Chloe, and then says he will kill him for what he did to Nancy.

COP SHOP
Sami storms in the outer office and Roman asks why she's there. She's angry and there to tell Abe about his wife shacking up with Brandon at the Salem Inn.

Abe talks with someone (we learn later it was the ISA) about John's concern that Stefano's returning. Jack walks in and wants to know if the rumors are true and Abe tosses him out as Sami confronts Abe about Lexie and Brandon. Abe takes control and tells Sami he knows all about it and for her to mind her own business and stop gossiping about his wife! This last loud statement stopped all action in the outer office as they stare at the action. Sami tells Jack about the party for her mom and John and he asks Sami to take him, knowing John is Stefano's nemesis. She refuses.

SALEM INN
Lexie gets a typewritten note asking from her to meet the sender at the Penthouse Grill that night. Although it's not signed, she's sure it's her father returning to help her as it's on their custom made family stationery. Celeste overhears and insists on going with Lexie being she refuses not going to see him.

BRADY PUB
Jen arrives for her take-out order and runs into Bo and Hope who have just returned from their sailing jaunt. Zack's up with grandpa and they tell Caroline and Jen that Zack got his sea legs, but they can tell he's happier on land, haha. Colin joins them and tells them they returned to soon. They mention their plans to go to the party at the PHG and Colin warns them about Dimera. Bo tells him they've been dealing with Stefano forever and he's the one on the run, not them. Bo's confident he can protect his loved ones and Colin hopes so and leaves. Bart overhears on the jack speaker and needs to email Rolfski to let him know the hit list is expanding. Jen hands Zack's ugly Jack in the Box to Bo and Hope who are collecting all of the toys in a cardboard box. Bo figured it would scare Zack (LOL), but he loves the toy. Bart's happy to hear Bozo will be around the action now.

Jack arrives and tells Jen what he heard about Stefano's anticipated return. He suggests they show up for dinner together and she's all for the idea. She's picking up take out for Abby and Gran being Abby's staying at Gran's tonight anyway and suggests he pick her up in an hour at her house. He agrees. (so great seeing these two not bickering and like the J&J we remember as a team!!)

PENTHOUSE
John and Caprice talk about the party and he comments they can't let Marlena find out when Marlena overhears that last part and inquires. He tells her he's been a brat lately and wanted to surprise her with a night out at the Penthouse Grill. She's thrilled, but says they can't do it. She tells him they can't go as Caprice is staying with them and they can't leave her alone. He offers to change the reservation for 3 and she and Caprice happily head upstairs to change while he makes the call, thinking this will be the best anniversary celebration ever (uh oh, a definite clue it won't be, ha!).

PENTHOUSE GRILL
Guests arrive as Abe and Sami (now buddy buddy) ride up in the elevator together. Abe tells Bo the ISA confirmed Stefano's on the move. Bo tells him about Colin's warning earlier. Abe asks if Colin's involved in Stefano's Irish branch. Bo doesn't know, but is growing to trust his cousin less and less.

Colin and Nicole arrive and someone other then Dave (where IS Dave) seats them. Jack and Jen are already there and he comments on Dr. Blarney's finding himself a new campfire girl (LOL!). Jen tells Jack she could care less about Colin and his love life. Nicole asks why they're there and Colin tells her it's for her (yeah, right!).

Celeste arrives with John and Marlena (who are snuggled together arm in arm) as everyone yells surprise. Marlena's surprised and thanks everyone for joining them tonight and promises it will be a night to remember. Bo and Hope hug the anniversary couple (I love how they're not hiding Hope's lower half, just being very creative in the way they cover her when needed!). The laugh of the day is Brady's telling Caprice how great she looks. She tells him she just got back from the spa and feels like a new woman...(she IS a new woman as they changed actresses portraying Caprice's character!) ROFLMAO and high five to the writers for their sense of humor in this transition! Brady hugs Marlena, who asks how Chloe is. John says this is a celebration for everyone they love.

Someone gets in a cab on the dark street and shows the driver a piece of paper with Penthouse Grill on it.

John makes a toast and they both agree being together is all they want for the rest of their lives. Brandon (all in black) and Lexie arrive (she's in a pink gown) and everyone gasps. Abe asks what they're doing there and they both show some attitude saying they're there for dinner and does he have a problem with that? The waiter seats them and Celeste (who pats Abe's shoulder while walking by). The Blacks and Brady's worry why Lexie's there. Roman (coat off and gun holster in place) joins them and assures them the place is staked out.

Kate gives Sami Austin's latest letter, happy to share what he said about her in it. Sami reads it aloud (with Brandon standing unknowingly behind her) and Austin tells his mother that Sami will ruin any relationship with a man she's in and is doomed to be alone forever.

Nicole asks to see Brandon alone to grill him why he's there with Lexie Carver. He tells her to trash her Dr. friend and tell him it's none of his business. She finds Colin (who just told someone the timing is perfect and will call after contact is made) and he tells her he just checked in with the hospital as he hates to use a cellphone in the middle of a restaurant (about the only thing Colin said that makes sense). Nicole's onto him that he knows more then he's saying about Lexie's mystery guest.

Abe asks Lexie to leave and she happily refuses. Caprice spots Celeste and has a flash about her, saying it can't be (two psychics in one room, watch out! Are they related maybe?) She tells Marlena she's got an upset stomach and will take a cab home. Marlena asks her to call from home to let her know she got there okay. John tells Marlena they're going to end the party early tonight as Roman makes an announcement saying there's a fire in the kitchen and although everything's under control, they need for everyone to leave. Abe stands up and says the officers will escort people out safely to the street. John goes to get Brady and Belle as Marlena wonders where Sami went (she's out on the terrace crying over the letter) as Brandon's joining her. Nicole urges Colin to leave, but he refuses. Hope spots a reservation for a Dimera (and not Lexie) in the PHG book and knows there's no fire. Abe wants Lexie and Celeste to go, but Lexie still refuses.

Abe, John and Bo are sure Stefano's on his way home. Abe could tell by the look in Lexie's eyes as she turns and looks at him confidently. John tells Marlena and she tells him they'll face Stefano together, like they always have. John senses he's there and alerts Abe as they all watch the elevator with shocked expressions as they see Tony Dimera walk in. Tony announces that the Phoenix has risen as the credits roll....
