MONDAY, JUNE 10th***
Episode: 9324
Directed by: Phil Sogard
Tape Date: 5/20/02 (10 day break after the filming of today's
graduation episode)
Summary:
A bit of a lighthearted episode filled with GETAWAYS. Brandon,
Jenn, Colin and Nicole all start their romantic weekend getaways, as
Jack and Sami are sent on a wild goose chase, finding themselves
WANTING to get away, but can't. Lexie plans and executes her own
getaway, as we see the return of Celeste's psychic powers.
Sami & Jack's Big Adventure
Sami is joined by Jack in Salem Place as she shows off her new "sexy
props" for the weekend. She has bought an electric blue teddy for
herself and what looks like a flannel bathrobe for him. Jack isn't so
pleased with his attire and decides to go and exchange it. Kate comes
by and seizes the opportunity to rag on Sami a bit (her favorite
pastime). She advises Jack to NOT go away with Sami. While he is
gone, Kate calls them quite the pair, with both being con artists.
They bicker back and forth about who is the biggest slut and then
Kate rubs Sami's nose in about how well Austin is doing and brags
that she, Lucas and Will are going to visit him in NY, then strolls
off. Jack returns as he and Sami have a chuckle about how Kate thinks
they are an item. She tells Jack to stop his yapping, and he calls
her ill-mannered. With their props in hand, they take off to stop
Brandon and Jennifer.
Kate and Victor,
After her sparring match with Sami, Kate encounters Victor at the
Java Café and informs him that she is tired of swapping
insults. He talks about her being all alone and the fact that none of
her sons need her anymore. She spots Nicole and Colin practically
making out in the street and delights in pointing them out to him.
She asks what he is going to do now, since Nicole dumped him. She
inquires as to what he has planned for Nicole. She tells him that
when he "sticks it to her, be sure to twist the knife a few times for
her". With that, she leaves and Victor is joined by Nicole. He
informs Victor that he can't find out much about Colin, except that
his background is full of holes. Victor tells him not to worry, that
he will take it from there.
Romantic Weekend Getaway?
Jennifer is at the hospital looking for Brandon and sees Colin on the
phone (with Green Mountain Lodge finalizing the arrangements). She
speaks to him as he passes, but he ignores her, heading straight to
Nicole, kissing her right in front of Jenn. Nicole spots Jenn and
realizes he was doing that just so Jenn would see. But Nicole doesn't
care, she is in heat. So, they take off for their weekend. Brandon
finds a shaken Jenn and tells him that they can postpone their
weekend if he needs to. He assures her that he has sent Sami and Jack
off on a wild goose chase and they won't bother them.
The Psycho Getaway
Earlier, Brandon went to the psych ward to try and see Lexie (one of
his nurse friends let him in). We see Celeste leading a haggard
looking Lexie down the hall. Lexie sees Brandon and clings to him
claiming that he is her only friend. Abe shows up demanding Brandon
takes his hands off his wife. Lexie goes ballistic on Abe as he goes
to have Brandon thrown out. But Brandon leaves on his own, with Lexie
screaming for him. In the hall, Abe and Brandon argue as Brandon says
it's all Abe's fault. Abe threatens to have Brandon arrested if he
goes near Lexie again. Later, Lexie begs Celeste to go and bring
Brandon to her, but Abe swears that all this is for her own good and
that he just wants to help her. She says that NO ONE can help her now
and that she is Abe's worst nightmare. She (very creepily) says that
she will rise from the ashes and that she will not fight her heritage
anymore, she is her daddy's little girl. (cue eerie Phoenix music) as
she calls herself the second generation Phoenix and says that all of
Salem will regret what they have done to her. She starts cackling a
maniacal laugh (geesh, she is starting to scare me). In the hall, Abe
and Celeste talk to her doctor as he tells them that he is going to
increase her medication. Lexie is eaves dropping and has a plan. When
the nurse comes in to give her a shot, she attacks her and sneaks out
in the nurse's uniform (the nurse is either dead or knocked out,
occupying Lexie's bed). In the cafeteria, Celeste stops dead in her
tracks, telling Abe that she has a bad feeling that something is
wrong, with Alexandra (as we see her getting into the elevator).
Romantic Weekend Get-Away?, continued
Jenn and Brandon arrive at GML as Jenn is a bit nervous now that it
is just the two of them. Colin and Nicole also arrive and are in the
room just next door. Nicole starts undressing Colin and informs him
that she wants to "try everything" this weekend (WHOA!) He promises
her a weekend full of surprises. Next door, Jenn and Brandon are
kissing as Jenn backs down (she is having memories of her and Jack's
first anniversary). He tells her that they don't need to rush
anything if she doesn't want to and offers to go and get another room
for her. Colin suggest that he and Nicole needs champagne, but
pretends that the phone isn't working. He offers to go down to the
restaurant and get it. He knows that Brandon and Jenn are next door
and snoops around their door. Jenn stops Brandon from getting another
room and suggests that they try the hot tub. Nicole catches Colin in
the hall and they return to their room. He suggests the hot tub and
they undress (with Nicole admitting she forgot her bathing suit).
Brandon and Jenn (who BTW, have THEIR suits) slip into their terrace
hot tub, just as Nicole and Colin slip into theirs, in the nude.
Colin and Nicole are quite noisy as Jenn recognizes Colin's
unmistakable voice (he is practically yelling). Brandon recognizes
Nicole's giggling and says "that's my sister!" as both of them poke
their heads through the bushes.
Sami & Jack's Big Adventure, continued
Later, Sami and Jack arrive at a place called the "Full Moon Bed and
Breakfast" to be greeted by an elderly couple, Iris and Harry. Sami
piles her luggage on Jack and strolls on in. Iris whispers to Harry
that they will be "easy pickins" and he says "they'll be dead by
midnight". Sami and Jack are NOT impressed with the creepy place at
all. As Jack checks in, Sami notices all the murder mystery books on
the table. (Harry is my hero as he tells them that Stephen King is
his favorite author.) Sami finds a gun and jokingly points it at
Jack. Harry snatches it away, telling them that they only use it to
scare off would-be burglars. While they are standing there, Iris gets
a call from Brandon and she plays along with his rouse. He tells her
to keep them there and not let them get away. When she gets off the
phone, she tells them that Brandon and his guest will be arriving
late. They assure them that they have "entertainment" planned for
them and Iris shows them to their room. Once there, a book
mysteriously falls off the shelf by itself and Sami is a bit freaked.
Jack goes off to snoop around, telling Sami to lock the door. Once
gone, she realizes that there ARE no locks on the doors. She picks up
the book, thumbs through it and finds a bloody handprint inside and
screams. Downstairs, Jack finds the gun and realizes it is real, and
loaded. He also finds the reservation book and sees that Brandon is
NOT in it. Upon hearing Sami's scream, he runs back upstairs. After
he is gone, Harry picks up the gun, saying yes, it is loaded and
before the night is over, Jack will find out why. Back in the room,
Sami shows him the book and they read a passage from it. They are
both scared and when they hear gun shots, decide to make a run for
it. The wall moves as a man steps out and grabs Sami. Jack turns
around and she is gone, Sami?, Sami?, he calls, and the credits
roll.

TUESDAY, JUNE 11th**
Episode: 9325
Directed by: Phil Sogard
Tape Date: 5/17/02 (taped 3 days BEFORE Monday's show!)
Summary:
Phil, Mimi, Belle, Chloe and Shawn are all getting ready for the
Last Blast, Bo and Hope learn of Lexie's escape.
At the Pub,
Shawn and Caroline are hosting a combination birthday party for Zack
and graduation for Shawn. They have picked up Zack and are playing
with him as Bo and Hope arrive. Caroline keeps winding up that horrid
jack in the box, singing along with it. Over at the DiMansion, Bart
is listening in and is sick of hearing that music. Rolf comes in and
tells him to stop complaining. Doug and Julie show up at the pub.
(LOL, as Hope is hiding behind a bunch of balloons to cover
Kristian's pregnancy). Bo can't believe that they have a two year old
and a high school graduate at the same time. Bo and Hope discuss the
Shawn situation and even though they feel sorry for him, can't
believe how he lied about Jan. Roman arrives as all talk about Zack's
safety. (Bart and Rolf are listening to all the conversations at the
pub). Shawn arrives to hugs from all the grandparents and everyone
notices that he is a bit down (he had just tried to talk to Belle at
Salem Place, see below). Hope gets JT on the phone and talks with
him, wishing him a happy birthday as well and passes the phone
around. Shawn gets to talk to him (and says that JT calls him "bro").
Abe comes by and informs everyone about Lexie escaping from the
hospital as Hope holds Zack tight. Well, this dashes cold water on
the party as Bo and Hope decide it's time to go. After they leave,
Abe and Roman discuss the situation and the possibility that maybe
Stefano helped her. They are sure she had some help, but Abe begins
to suspect Brandon. They talk about how he had helped her before and
that he had gone to visit her earlier that day. Add to that that he
is now nowhere to be found.
At Salem Place,
Chloe, Philip and Mimi are walking around, talking about how to get
Shawn and Belle back together. Marlena and Belle are also there
(Belle has just gotten a new haircut). Marlena talks about exchanging
some graduation gifts that her grandparents from Colorado sent her,
but Belle doesn't hear a word she says. Shawn walks up and wants to
talk to Belle alone, so Marlena excuses herself. Shawn tries (in
vain) to explain and apologize to Belle, about how Jan manipulated
him and he fell for it and is upset with himself. But Belle isn't so
forgiving and pretty much blesses him out and storms off.
The other kids put their plan into action as Philip meets with Cynthia at the Java Café and gives her the old heave-ho. He tells her that she is just like Jan and will NOT be taking her to the dance (which really ticks her off). Mimi, who had been watching and/or listening, congratulates him on his performance. Marlena comes by and Mimi begins to explain to her what they are up to.
At the Brady House,
They all return home (cute as they come in the door, little Zack is
chattering about a ball). Shawn wants to stay home with them, but
they encourage him to go to the dance. He talks about trying to
apologize to Belle and about how mad she is at him. They finally
convince him to go as he goes and gets ready. He comes down in a
black suit as his parents give him last minute instructions. They
rush him off before he changes his mind. After he is gone, Hope is a
bundle of nerves, knowing that Lexie is out there somewhere. She
paces the house and holding the baby monitor to her ear (Bo had put
Zack down). Even though the house is being guarded, she keeps hearing
noises and worrying. Bo makes her sit and tries to calm her, but she
can't relax. He assures her that neither Stefano or Lexie will win.
Later, Hope brings Zack downstairs (waking him up), saying she just
couldn't leave him alone. She is worried about what Lexie may do. But
Bo says he has an idea. (I think they go to visit the Reibers,
because Glen and Barb are listed in the credits on Monday's
show).
Over at the Wesleys,
Craig and Nancy arrive home, so proud of Chloe's speech at the
graduation. Nancy starts saying that Chloe is everything she never
was: poised, beautiful, talented. But Craig gives her a pep talk and
they talk about how much Chloe means to them as she has come into
their lives. Nancy is worried about her health and doesn't want her
to go to the dance. But Craig begins to plead her case, just as Chloe
arrives as Nancy tells her she can't go to the dance. Craig sides
with Chloe, telling Nancy that she needs this. Nancy finally caves as
Chloe goes to get ready. She returns in a peach colored dress as
Craig and Nancy ooh and aah over her (she does look lovely). She
doesn't want them to worry about her and says it will be a night to
remember. Shawn shows up and is greeted by Craig on the front porch.
He checks to see if Shawn has a cell phone and gives him all their
numbers. He wants Shawn to call if anything happens. Chloe comes out,
ready to go, but Nancy makes them come back inside for pictures. As
they leave, Chloe tells them not to worry. After she is gone, Craig
assures Nancy that she will be okay. Outside, Shawn asks her if
everything is okay. She tells him that by the end of the evening
everything will be even better.
At the Penthouse,
Later, Marlena and Belle arrive back home and Mimi comes by in her
dress for the Last Blast (it is a light green number with spaghetti
straps and she looks nice). She tells them that she is making one
last attempt to persuade Belle to go. Just on cue, the doorbell rings
(as Mimi says I wonder who that could be). Well, it's Philip all
dressed up in his tux, inviting Belle to go with him, calling her
Cinderella. She refuses to go as everyone tries to persuade her.
Finally, she claims she has no dress, but Marlena speaks up and pulls
out a dress that (Mimi told her) Belle had been eyeing at Ballistix.
She realizes that all of them are in on it as Phil and Mimi continue
to beg her to go. She finally gives in and goes to change. Philip
fills Marlena in on what they are doing as Marlena worries about her.
Philip promises to watch out for her and be a "cool escort". Mimi and
Belle come down ready to go. (Belle's dress is a light blue satin
number with a full skirt.) Marlena grabs her SONY Mavica digital
camera (Hey, it's just like mine!) and starts taking pictures of a
not-so-thrilled Belle. She still isn't so sure about going, but
Marlena pulls her aside and assures her that she will have a great
time. She tells her to go and have the fun she deserves, this is her
LAST high school dance and begins to cry as she holds her. Marlena
continues to take pictures of a down-and-out Belle as Philip and Mimi
try and cheer her up. As they leave, Marlena tells her if she needs
her, to just call and she will come and pick her up. After they
leave, she looks at one of the pictures and says 'Oh, Belle, I hope
you are going to be all right", and the credits roll.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12, 2002
Episode 9326
Tape date - Various
Director - Herb Stein***
The further, over the top adventures of the Mickey Spillane wannabe, Jack Deverocks & his gal, Friday (o/w known as Sami) remind me of an old Bob Hope movie w/Lucille Ball. LOL Elsewhere, the Bradys decide to take a trip, and the foursome at Green Mountain Lodge regroup.
AT BRADY HOME,
A replay of Bo coming in to find Hope has awakened Zack and brought
him downstairs. They talk of how worried they are, and Lexie's
escape. Bo decides they should board the Fancy Face and sail away
from Salem, until Lexie is back in custody. (GUESS where Lexie is
hiding!!) Abe comes in, Bo tells him, and Abe thinks it is a good
idea. Calls the cop shop for a sweep of the boat. Though Hope wants
Shawn to come with, Bo says he wants to stay behind, and Abe says he
will check on him.
On the docks, Lexie is hiding under a tarp aboard the boat, but after
overhearing the cops on their phones, manages to get off the boat and
onto the docks. She calls Brandon for help. (see below) The cops
seemingly have checked the boat and report all well. The Bradys
arrive, with Abe carrying Zack, who is entranced with "wawa". The
Bradys board the Fancy Face and Abe leaves to take a call from the
station, while the 2 cops get a 911 call. Lexie stands up, not
wanting her baby to leave forever, and goes forward, as Brandon comes
rushing out, yelling "Lexie, No".
AT THE FULL MOON, .
Replay of Jack telling Sami they should leave this place and going
for the door, as Harry (dark, pinstriped suit, broad brim hat, lolol)
comes out of the secret bookcase opening and grabs Sami. Sami
struggles with Harry, and then knees him (Yay, leave it to our Sami)
then runs off. Meanwhile, Jack is searching the room for Sami, when
Iris comes in, saying she saw the young lady in the hall, going
outside. Jack rushes off outside, no Sami in the car, but finds his
battery is gone. He hides as he sees two men dragging a body into the
trunk of another car, talking about the "dead weight" and that is
"the end of the the old lady". Jacks mutters about being at a mobster
convention, nearly runs off, but goes back to find Sami. Opens the
door to see Iris with two big knives - "sharpening" them. She says
"Cake??" (O.K. I am really laughing, very well done, all this farce)
Jack hears Sami scream, but Iris claims not to hear anything.
Jack overheard Iris on the phone to someone, saying not to worry, she
will take care of Mr. Deverocks...and remembers this what the goons
in Vegas called him, is now convinced he is a target. Meanwhile, Sami
remembers getting out of other bad situations -( flashback to her on
that cliff in Italy) and now realizes she has been running in circles
and is back at the same spot in the passageway. She starts pounding
on the door, calling for Jack. Hears chains rattle, and wonders if
next comes the ghost of Christmas Past (she is referring to Marley's
chains in A Christmas Carol). LOL She turns around, and suddenly
passes out. Harry comes up, saying got you, Goldilocks, and drags her
off.
Iris pulled a gun on Jack, but they struggle, he knocks her out, (LOL
at this scene) and begins to run away, but goes back for Sami. He
goes upstairs, and inside the bedroom, Jack realizes there must be
another doorway thru the bookcase but cannot find the way to open it.
He tries to call 911, but Iris is on the other end, pretending to be
911, and disconnects him. He mutters that this is a good story for
the Spectator and calls Jennifer on his cellphone.
IN THE HOT TUBS -
Replay of Brandon and Jenn hearing voices from next door, and peering
thru the bushes to find the naked Colin & Nicole. Though Nicole
claims not to have known J&B were going to Green Mountain, Jenn
realizes Colin knew, and he says guilty as charged. Nicole is
furious, gets out to put a robe on (wonder how she managed that - and
her brother right there, (sorry, yuk on this scene). She stalks off
to her room, Jenn tells Brandon to go check on her, while she reams
Colin out, telling him to go back to Ireland or Africa or wherever.
She goes back into her room, Brandon comes in, saying Nik won't
answer the door. Jenn comes on to Brandon big time, puts on some slow
jazz music, with a mournful trumpet playing, dims the lights and puts
the do not disturb sign on the door. Meanwhile Colin returns to his
room, to find Nicole, seductively arranged in the bed, inviting smile
on her face, as she tells him to drop his towel and join her. He
jumps in, not believing his good luck. She snuggles right up to him,
and then gives him a big slap across the face. She gets out of bed,
telling him she wanted him to know how it felt to be seduced and
slapped in the same instant. He protests, saying she should not take
things so seriously, and she comes up to him, saying "Chill Out" as
she picks up the blanket and dumps the bucket of ice - you know
where. ROTFL. The expression on his face is priceless.
Jenn & Brandon are going hot and heavy, when they hear noises and
a crashing so run next door. Nik has thrown a lamp at Colin. She
leaves, saying Colin better be gone when she gets back. Jenn and
Brandon go back to their room, resume their necking, and his phone
rings. Lexie is calling, begging for his help. He makes an excuse
about a patient and leaves.
Now Jenn's cell phone rings with Jack calling her, babbling in his
usual manner, trying to tell her of the danger he is in. Jenn doesn't
believe him but hears him say, , Please, don't shoot, then a gunshot,
and the phone goes dead. She tries to get a rental car, no can do,
but Colin appears, offers to drive her there. Though she hesitates,
she finally agrees.
OVER AT THE FULL MOON, ..
Jack is talking on his cell phone to Jenn, the bookcase door opens
and Iris sneaks in, waving a gun at Jack. She pushes him into the
bookcase which opens and dumps him into the secret passageway. He
turns around to see, in a pool of light, Sami's disembodied head. AND
the credits roll.

Episode #9327
Taped 5/23/02
Directed by Herb Stein***
The Last Blast begins, as the search for Lexie continues, and events at the Full Moon reach a shocking climax!
ABE & CELESTE
Abe & Celeste are at home, talking about Lexie. Celeste tells him
that when she tries to concentrate on Lexie, she gets this feeling of
water. Abe figures it out, putting out an all car alert for the dock
area. On the dock, Brandon has just pulled Lexie from the water,
telling her she has much to live for, but she angrily denies trying
to commit suicide, pointing out the boat sailing away with her son.
They hear sirens, and make a dash for Brandon's apt.
Abe & Celeste (I do like these two together) are now at the cop
shop, where Abe gets a report of a woman matching Lexie's description
having been seen on the docks, with a male companion, but they eluded
the police (what else is new, that was the Salem P.D.! LOL). Abe
realizes it must be Brandon, but Celeste tells him she overheard him
making plans with Jenn for a romantic getaway weekend. Abe hopes not
for Jenn's sake (smart man), makes a phone call and confirms the
news. When he contacts Green Mountain Lodge, though, he discovers
Brandon's been gone for hours, and has only one guess as to where he
went.
Meanwhile, Brandon has been trying to talk Lexie into going back to
the hospital on her own. He berates her for drugging the nurse and
escaping, as that only reaffirms the belief in her mental
instability. Lexie cannot understand why she has not heard from her
father, as he promised her she would never lose her baby, and that he
would never leave her. Brandon tells Lexie that going back to
hospital on her own will prove that she is strong and thinking
clearly.
THE LAST BLAST
The Last Blast is going full force, with the video screen showing
Chloe & Philip dancing at a previous one, big silver ball turning
on the ceiling, and everyone really looking lovely. Heads turn and
voices buzz as Chloe & Shawn arrive, but Chloe doesn't care they
are surprised. As they turn around, she remarks they are not the only
surprise couple, in comes Philip & Belle. Belle is angry with her
friends and tells Mimi so. Belle chats w/Chloe who tries to convince
her to let it all go, but Belle says she just cannot forget that
Shawn betrayed her, by sleeping w/Jan, and she does not know how she
could trust him again. Mr. Woods comes and chats w/Mimi a bit, as she
tells him how she has lived up to her obligations, and now Jan is
gone forever. Mr. Woods thinks Mimi will find some way to enjoy
herself at her last dance of the school year. He leaves and someone
arrives with a pile of boxes, it's Kevin, who has volunteered for
hospitality committee this year, instead of video, all for the love
of Mimi. (awwwwwwww). Cynthia arrives in a dress cut down in the back
to her tailbone, lol, and some gal friends tell her about Phil being
there w/Belle. She tries to get Philip to dance w/her, he brushes her
off & she vows to get even. Jason comes up behind her, asking is
she wants some help. (Jeez, are these kids not over their sophomoric
pranks yet?)
Both Shawn & Chloe, plus Philip & Belle get out onto the
dance floor, all the while each of them staring at their "love",
while remembering being together at previous dance. Belle suddenly
runs off, Chloe tells Shawn to go after her, which he does. Philip
pleads with Chloe, mentioning the necklace he gave her earlier, Chloe
& Philip forever, and talks of their future. Chloe says they may
not have a future, and Phil realizes something is wrong, and Chloe
seems to want to tell him, but doesn't. Out in the hall, Shawn tells
Belle he has something to tell her, and she is going to listen.
THE FULL MOON
The Full Moon looks peaceful enough, as Jenn & Colin arrive,
mentioning how it looks like a gingerbread house, and remember what
happened to Hansel & Gretel. (O.K. folks, just an aside from me,
but with that name Full Moon, I am really glad no werewolves or a
Dracula showed up, lol) They go inside, finding the place empty.
Colin finds a paper which says, Deveraux Must DIE. Upstairs, a replay
of Iris brandishing the gun at Jack, and pushing him thru the
bookcase wall into the passageway. He turns, seeing the head only of
Sami, but she is just holding a flashlight under her chin. (Where did
she find that?) She quickly tells how she kneed Harry and escaped
from him, & has been yelling for Jack. He fills her in on his
encounter with the gun wielding Iris, and babbles about how they must
escape from these homicidal Senior Citizens. The door moves and both
Jack and Sami push on one side, while Harry & Iris push on the
other. Jack finds something to wedge under the door, and then Sami
tries to hear what is going on on the other side. Suddenly an arm
reaches out behind Jack, and a purple boa is pulled around his neck.
(a BOA!!! ROTFL) Sami doesn't hear a thing, but turns around after
Jack has managed to free himself. When he tries to tell her someone
tried to strangle him with a purple boa, she reminds him he was the
one who wore them (in Vegas). Jack now fills her in on his theory of
the two goons from Vegas who called him Deverocks, (they are in jail,
police have cash) and how they may have tipped off some friends who
are seeking revenge. And though Brandon set this up, he has
connections in Chicago, etc.
Downstairs, the phone rings and Colin answers. When he hangs up, he
tells Jenn he knows exactly what is going on. He finds a gun, puts it
in his pocket, & they go upstairs, finding the bedroom. Jenn sees
Jack's bag, looks inside, finding their wedding picture. She seems
touched.
In the passageway, Jack is still convinced the mob is after them,
& they work their way down the passage, coming across a large bag
of cement. As they wonder what that is for, Jack comments they just
may next find a horse's head in bed. LOL (am loving the dialogue in
this lil adventure) Sami is scared, & tells Jack how she felt
when nearly put to death in prison. He holds her, then steps back,
and they are about 2 feet apart, as it seems each of their spirits
steps forward and lightly kiss, then step back. Now they somehow
manage to step into some fresh, wet cement, and only extricate
themselves by wiggling out of their shoes.
Meanwhile, Colin & Jenn come downstairs where Harry & Iris
are sitting calmly on the sofa. They are surprised to see them, Jenn
explains they are looking for Jack Deveraux and Sami Brady. Iris says
they must have left, but Jenn says, their luggage is still upstairs
and Jack's car is in the parking lot. Colin tells them that he &
Jenn know exactly what is going on here.
In the passage way, Jack figures how to get out, and begins to pull
at some boards. He & Sami burst into the parlor from under the
staircase, excitedly telling Harry & Iris it is all over for them
(hmmm, thought that passageway was upstairs, never saw them going
down stairs inside the passageway, maybe I missed it) and so happy to
see their friends. Both Jack & Sami are yammering, when Jack just
looks at Jenn and says with a big smile, Jenn, you came. Thank God
you came. Jenn smiles back, but Colin pulls the gun from his pocket,
saying, "you can thank God in person", and pulls the trigger,
shooting Jack in the chest. Slow motion now, as Sami looks horrified,
Jack falls to the ground, Sami cradles him in her lap, blood seeping
onto his shirt. AND the credits roll.

FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 2002
Episode #9328
Taped 5/24/02
Directed by Randy Robbins ***
Summary:
Brady is spooked by the loft, Craig and Nancy get the news they
have dreaded, As Salem High students wrap up their school year with
the Last Blast, two people are humiliated, one is forgiven , one gets
her wish, and another collapses.
Over at Brady's Loft,
Brady is staring at the snow globe and has a strange feeling when the
piano begins playing (what sounds like the first few notes of "I'll
Be Seeing You "). He is startled even more when there is a knock at
the door. It's John, wanting to know what is wrong (apparently Brady
had called him). He fills John in on all the strange happenings in
the loft but he comes up with logical explanations for everything and
just tries to write it off as a case of nerves. John tries to
convince him that there is nothing "Stephen King" going on here.
(There sure have been lots of references to the 'KING' lately).
Finally, he settles Brady's jagged nerves and he thanks him for
coming over. In the hallway, John picks up a paper and reads about
Lexie's escape, which angers him. Then he picks up an Intruder, where
the front page story reads "Gemini Meteor Showers, Heaven's Fireworks
or the End of the World?" He starts acting really strange and says
that he can stop it, and ONLY he can. Back inside, Brady looks at his
computer, sure that he had turned it off earlier. His instant
messenger says he has no messages, but as he walks off, it beeps. His
message, "go to the hospital now".
Meanwhile, Over at the Hospital,
Craig and Nancy await the results of Chloe's bone marrow test. Nancy
urges him to call and check, which he does. He informs her that the
results aren't ready yet, so they just wait. Later, Craig gets the
call and it's not good news. It's for sure, their worst fears have
come true. He doesn't even have to tell Nancy. One look at his face
and she knows and begins to cry. He tells her the test was positive,
Chloe does indeed have leukemia. She breaks down in his arms and
falls to pieces. Craig decides that they need to go over to the
school and get her immediately.
The (last) Last Blast
As Philip talks with Chloe, he notices that something isn't right and
asks what's wrong. Chloe tells him that she is sick, but he doesn't
really get it. She talks about how great it has been to have friends
and how wonderful he has been to her (sounds like a goodbye) but it
just doesn't sink in with Philip. Chloe starts crying and doesn't
want to talk about her future. She abruptly changes the subject to
Belle and Shawn and wonders where they are and what is going on.
Mimi is also wondering about Belle and Shawn. She watches from the sidelines as Kevin dances with Susan. After they finish, she tells Kevin she wishes she could have one dance with him. They sneak away out into the hall, for a kiss, but they overhear Cynthia and Jason cooking up some plot (they hear Philip and Shawn's names mentioned). Kevin follows them and overhears their scheme (we don't). Later, he reports back to Mimi (who is serving drinks) and whispers to her as they cook up their own plot.
In another room, Shawn tries to talk with Belle, but she goes to leave, not wanting to hear what he has to say. He stops her and tells her that he has something very important to tell her. He tells her that he didn't sleep with Jan and wasn't the father of her baby. Belle stands there dumbfounded and can't believe what she is hearing as he professes his love. She demands to know the who truth, like just WHO is the father. He won't tell at first, because of his promise to Jan. He finally gives in and tells her all about Paul raping Jan. He goes on to explain it all in detail about how he promised not to tell and how she promised not to have an abortion if he claimed to be the father. Belle is shocked to hear this as he admits he made mistake after mistake and hurt Belle. He is almost to the point of tears by now. He asks if she could ever forgive him. But she turns away and rushes off without a word.
Chloe suggests that Philip and Belle dance the spotlight dance. While they are dancing, Chloe makes her way over to Shawn to find out what happened. She drags him onto the dance floor as he and Belle stare at each other from across the floor. Cynthia and Jason come sneaking in (each holding something behind them) as Mimi and Kevin spot them and put their own plan into motion. Everyone continues to dance as balloons fall and Cynthia and Jason nod to each other. They pull out (what looks like) large water balloons. Mimi signals Kevin and they push Cynthia and Jason into each other with the balloons (filled with punch) burst between them, looking lovely on Jason's white tux. The dancing stops as everyone starts laughing at them. Mr. Woods and Ms. Perez come over demanding to know what is going on. Mimi and Kevin begin explaining (cute how Kevin takes up for Mimi). Chloe breaks in and reads them the riot act, calling Cynthia and Jason losers (everyone joins in with her). She tells them that high school is over and it's time to grow up. She talks about how her friend Mimi (putting her arm around her) learned the hard way about this type of behavior. She tells them to let it go and that life is too short. Mr. Woods says that he was going to toss Cynthia and Jason out, but will let their classmates decide their fate. Everyone starts booing them and they slink away. As the dance resumes, with Woods announcing the last dance, Chloe goes to talk to Ms. Perez, who in turn comes over and informs an excited Mimi that she has suffered enough and can dance with Kevin. Philip thanks Chloe for going to bat for Mimi and reminds her that she promised the last dance to him and she agrees. He notices she isn't wearing his necklace (I don't blame her, that thing is ugly). She has it in her purse and he helps her on with it. Mimi and Kevin also take the floor. A sad-faced Shawn watches from the sidelines and there is a tap on his shoulder. He turns to find Belle standing there. She smiles at him and he returns it. All watch as they take each others hand and move to the dance floor and all dance to "Wishing You Were Here"(??? I'll try to find out what the song is) Shawn tells Belle that he loves her and she returns the sentiments. Philip tells Chloe that he loves her so much. She says "Philip, I, " as she gets weak in his arms and (in slow motion) faints dead away to the floor. You can hear people calling for help and begin rushing to her. Philip is caressing her face, as she lies lifeless on the floor, and the credits roll.
