Summary: Bo, Roman, Bo and Hope search for Lexie (who is on the Run)...Kate, Lucas and Sami continue to battle for the tape...Jack gets a job. A rather exciting show, but it seems to be marred down a bit by long flashbacks. However, there IS a nice flashback for the Jack and Jenn fans!

Sami Gets the Upper Hand,
Kate and Lucas paw through Will's backpack looking for the tape recorder as Sami tries to beat down the door as she screams at them. But they can't find it. Back in her apartment, Will has the recorder in hand. He takes out a CD and pops it in a CD player. In the hallway, Sami is furious that she let 'Beavis and Butthead' (her words) outsmart her. Kate opens the door and Sami barges in looking for the recorder. She finally realizes that they don't have it so she gathers Will's things and goes home. She walks in to see will with the recorder taping the music off the CD. Kate and Lucas are sure that the recorder is somewhere in Sami's apartment and work on a new plan to get it. Lucas has a series of flashbacks of his confrontation with Sami in Vegas where she admits everything and Austin catches her. They become more determined than ever to get the tape back. Sami helps will with the tape and when they finish, they come over. Kate and Lucas see the recorder as Sami tells Will to play it for them. They are horrified as Sami makes the "loser" sign on her forehead (holding up the thumb and index finger) and gloats, saying she won. Kate slams the door in her face.

Down at the Spectator,
There is a replay of Jack groveling for a job and finding out the new editor is Jennifer. They argue over how Jenn got the job and he isn't too thrilled with her luck. (Man, there is so much fast dialogue here, I can't remember half of what they said, they are GOOD at this!) She tells him that she can't give him a job because Oliver hates him and would fire her if she did. So just hit the road, Jack. He tells her that Vern and Harold both have talked to Oliver on his behalf and he has said it is all up to her., but she informs him that she doesn't want a pathological liar on staff. He leads her to think that Oliver offered him a job, but Jenn doesn't want to hear any of this. She tells him that she has more important things on her mind and tells him about Bo and Hope losing JT earlier. He tries to convince her that she NEEDS him and she tells him that she needs him like the plague. She opens the door and tries to throw him out (as Vern and Harold are watching). Vern laughs and tells Harold it's just like old times and that this type of behavior is the status quo for them. They go back inside and he continues to beg. Just give him a chance, 6 months is all he asks for. He talks about how well they always worked together despite everything. This leads to a flashback of a very young Jack and Jennifer working at the Spectator. (I don't know what was happening, but I'm sure some of you longtime viewers may. The power was out at the office and they were working on a story. They mention Steve and Kayla and they almost kiss. The lights come on, interrupting them and Jennifer heads out on her way to Wings.) Back in the present, Jack promises that if he doesn't live up to his end of the bargain, she can fire him. She finally caves and gives him a job, asking him if he knows what a "pion" is. She tells him that she kind of likes the idea of bossing him around. She gives him his first assignment, reporting on the city "pooper scooper" laws. She tells him that he is always bragging on how he can "sniff" out a story, here's his chance to show her that he really has a "nose for news". (Kudos to the dialogue writers here, snappy stuff here).

Lexie on the Run,
Abe and Roman meet up at the cop shop as Abe has flashbacks of Lexie lying to him about moving back home. Bo and Hope rush in, with Hope determined to not let Lexie get away. Cut to Lexie and Isaac in the car speeding away as she explains to Isaac that she is doing this all for him and that they are never going back to Salem. Abe apologizes to Hope and vows to return Isaac to her as she and Bo demand that he stop her. Rolf calls Lexie on the cell phone and tells her that there is a problem with the helicopter and that she must keep on the move, driving around until it is ready. Smith (the undercover cop tailing Lexie) calls in and tells them that she is driving around in circles which gives Abe hope that she may not be running after all. Lexie tells Rolf that she thinks she is being followed and tries to lose him. Smith tells the folks at the cop shop that he thinks she has made him and is trying to lose him. Lexie panics because she can't shake him. Rolf summons Bart and gives him his orders (we don't hear, but Bart isn't too thrilled about it). Bo, Abe, Bo and Hope continue to listen to Smith's updates and Hope wants her pulled right now before something happens. Abe has a long flashback of when he left Lexie (including the mirror speech). Rolf gets Lexie's location and tells her to drive straight on Linden Road. She tells him that the road veers right and that there is a huge bolder ahead, but he insists that she trust him and keep driving straight. Roman tells Smith to pull her over now, but he says she disappeared with her tracks leading up to a huge bolder. He continues to look for her as Hope worries that something has happened (Bo holds her). Smith spots the car and pulls her over, only to report back that it isn't her, but a man in drag (Bart) as a decoy. Roman tells him to bring him in as Abe orders an APB on Lexie. We see Lexie in her car, INSIDE the boulder (it closed behind her), with Rolf telling her that Stefano had that built as a hideaway in the rocks. (Shades of Batman). He tells her to do as he says and she will get out of Salem. Bo realizes that Hope has disappeared and fears that she has gone after Lexie on her own. We next see Lexie on the docks (as Rolf instructed) looking around. Hope charges around the corner, demanding that Lexie hand Isaac over. Lexie says NO. Hope says "Give me my son, Lexie!", and the credits roll.

Jack knows which buttons to push for a job at the paper and getting the scoop on a hot story, Nicole and Colin meet, Brady gets help moving into his new loft and Shawn and Belle have a quick hug before Jantilda arrives.

THE HOSPITAL
Nicole arrives at the hospital hoping to spend the evening with her brother, but is disappointed to learn he and Jenn have plans. Colin spots Nicole and is interested, lurking nearby as Brandon asks if Nicole's so desperate for male company that she wants to go out with her brother. Colin saunters over and is introduced to Nicole. Brandon mentions the last time he saw Colin, he was in Las Vegas getting married. Colin explains he's still single as Jenn walks up (to get Brandon for their date) and overhears Colin saying he's still very much a single man. He asks Nicole out for dinner and she readily agrees. Jenn takes Brandon's arm and says she's ready for their date and Colin suggests they double. Nicole and Brandon step aside to talk and Jenn asks Colin if this is his pattern, to get close to a woman, then break up. He asks to explain, but she rushes off to be with Brandon. Later Nicole finds Colin and they agree to meet in an hour as they flirt with each other. Brandon and Jenn talk as he gives her a small box to help her forget Jack.

Elsewhere, Mimi and Chloe talk about Belle and Shawn. They're glad Shawn wasn't at school today as Belle would have lost it for sure then. Shawn finds Belle in the hallway at the hospital, saying he couldn't stay away. She's automatically defensive that she's not to blame for his getting Jan pregnant and she didn't push her. Shawn tells her he lost everything, including JT and tells her about Glen taking him. Later we join them and she asks about JT being on his way to Iowa now. Shawn goes to leave, feeling bad after what he said the other day to Belle and she tells him it's okay. She puts her hand on his cheek and tells him she's sorry. He takes her into his arms for a hug and as they're hugging, Jan walks up behind him and Belle sees her. She rushes off saying she can't do this and Shawn sees Jan, asking why she's there. She claims to have a follow up doctor appointment. Belle rushes past Mimi and Chloe and they see Shawn and Jan, knowing why. Jan asks if Shawn will wait and take her home. He agrees and she walks off smiling. Mimi and Chloe join him and Chloe signals to Mimi that she wants to talk to Shawn alone. She tells him she wants the truth as he refers to Jan as a friend that he's just helping. Chloe asks who's helping Belle when she's crying her eyes out every night after what he did. Jan joins them and tells him the doctor said she'll be okay, but needs to rest for a while still. She asks to leave and Mimi and Chloe watch as she walks off with Shawn.

COP SHOP
A detective brings Bart into Abe's office. Roman asks Bart, who's pretending to be a cross dresser and offended for being brought in for what he was doing. Bart can't explain why his hair and car matched Lexie's and just pretends to have a quirk as too why there was a doll strapped in the baby car seat. Roman's not buying Bart's explanations, but an officer brings his papers in. He's B. Bartholomew and everything was correct (guess he's got a new car, ey?) Roman lets him go and orders he be followed.

THE SPECTATOR AND THE FLIM FLAM MAN
Disappointed with his pooper scooper assignment, Jack vents to Harold..who calls Jack a flim-flam man and Jenn joins them, agreeing. She just spoke with Oliver and learned the truth and promptly fires Jack. Jack fast talks and Jenn gives it right back to him saying Oliver gave her the discretion of what to do with him. Harold escapes saying he's just a copy boy (guess the fashion designing biz didn't work out for him) as Jack tries to rush off to do his pooper scooper story. Jenn fires him again and turns to return to work as he pulls his ace out of the hole (Abigail) for the job. He asks how Abby would take it if she didn't give him the job. He promises to change and is willing to take the lowest assignments. She gives him a six month trial basis and warns him he'll get the lowest assignments that no one else wants. He happily agrees and goes to kiss her in thanks as she twists his lips and warns him she's his boss and to be treated as such. However, she herself has a date with Brandon (short work day for a new job, ey?), grabs her purse and goes to leave. Jack calls Brandon "Mr. No Neck" and she says Brandon has a lovely neck and it's attached to a back bone, unlike his own.

BRADY'S LOFT
Marlena, John and Caprice help Brady move into the loft and give him a microwave as a housewarming present. Caprice feels something strange happening in the place and says Brady knows what it is, but isn't talking. Brady is startled by that, but tells them about the glass figurine that fell and didn't break. John is upset and asks Brady to go get it. John looks at it and recognizes it as Isabella's favorite piece of Venetian glass that she collected. This butterfly was a gift from the creator and although IzzyB was very careful, this one piece shattered John said. They all believe him to be wrong about the piece, but he's sure about it. Marlena closes the window as a breeze blows in. Brady explains he had opened it to freshen the air up as Caprice asks to go exploring in the apartment. Belle arrives pretending to be in a good mood, but Brady knows better. She tells them about hearing about JT and disappointed no one told her about it. Marlena told her she had a full plate already and she's happy to hear Glen told them to visit anytime. She tells her parents she's definitely going to NYC to Columbia. John and Marlena look crushed, but understand as they all congratulate her. She and Brady tease each other about being woosies and start tackling each other in fun and hit the counter. The glass butterfly crashes and burns again..shattering on the floor. Caprice sees it as a sign that Brady needs to fix something that's broken or something and leaves for an appointment. Roman calls John asking if he's heard from Hope. He tells him about Lexie taking off and John asks what he can do to help. He and Marlena rush off and Belle and Brady talk about Shawn coming to see her at the hospital. She tells him how all the hurt and anger disappeared when she saw Shawn's eyes. Every time she sees Jan it reminds her about the Philip/Cynthia video. She opens a box to help him unpack as Brady looks at the broken butterfly remembering Caprice's comment.

BACK TO COP CENTRAL
Jack rushes in wearing his press pass to ask about the pooper scooper law and sees Bartina walking out of Roman's office. Bart thinks Jack's coming on to him and shoves him away and leaves. Jack hears a couple of detectives talking about needing to follow Bart and knows he's onto something as he bursts into Roman's (Abe's) office about how the Salem PD has blown it. Jack pretends to know more about the case as Roman wants to know what he knows. Jack wings it, but Roman can tell he doesn't know very much and threatens to arrest him for obstructing a police investigation. He also refers to Jack as a flim flam man and Jack ponders this old term coming back to life. Jack helps himself to a cup of coffee and Roman calls him in and chews him out again. Jack asks to help and Roman will let him help if he doesn't put anything in the paper about it yet and to remember HE'S the boss (Jack's hearing that a lot lately, haha). Roman gets a call and Jack eavesdrops to hear it's Bo. Roman rushes out, after telling Bo he's on his way and Jack hides from view. He's excited about getting the story of the century as the credits roll, , , .

Nice, fast paced show today, as we move all over Salem, but stay in the same time frame. The search for Lexie & Isaac intensifies, as the net is spread wider and Lexie decides to trust no one but herself, while Jack is in 7th heaven being back on the reporter beat.

In their car, John & Marlena are driving, evidently searching the warehouse areas Stefano has used in the past. Marlena says how apparent it is now that Lexie had to know of the baby switch. They both feel for Abe, and John says he thinks the Carver marriage is over. Marlena calls the station, telling them no sign of Lexie anywhere, and informs them the reward money put up by John is in place.

At the cop shop, replay of Jack & Roman making a deal about the story. Jack begs for something to do, and Roman gives him posters to put all over town. Abe is upset, saying Stefano got control of my wife, he is NOT going to get control of my son, then correct himself to say "Hope's son". John & Marlena arrive and Abe asks John if his pilot can help update the Salem airstrip list. Bo has left to search for Hope, & is in Salem Place, mistaking one woman for Hope, thus upsetting her. He then gets a "feeling" & leaves, saying Hope, hang on, I'm coming"

On the foggy dock, Lexie is pacing, waiting for a boat to come get her, when Hope rushes up, asking for Isaac. Lexie refuses, saying he is HER son. Hope begins to dial the police on her cell phone, when a hand with handkerchief (chloroform) grabs her from behind, and out she goes. Rolf has arrived in the nick of time, when they hear Bo calling Hope's name. Rolf is saying he is taking charge of Lexie now, but he turns around and she has vanished. He leaves, Bo arrives, finding the unconscious Hope.

At the hospital Brandon has gifted Jenn with a small package. She opens it to reveal a framed penny, (the one she had found) all shined up. Brandon says it is good luck for her new job, and promises her they are going to have a most memorable evening, one she will never forget. As they are leaving, Bo is bringing Hope into emergency. Colin checks her out, while Bo explains to Brandon & Jenn how Lexie has kidnapped Isaac and is on the run, with everyone looking for them. Brandon gets a call, then breaks his date with Jenn for this emergency, (see below) while Colin asks him to let Nicole know he won't be able to keep their date either.

At Salem Place, Jack is putting up posters, and making up sentences for the story he is planning on writing, when given the go ahead. LOL. Unbeknownst to him, Rolf is taking them all down behind him. Lexie is there, too, but hidden from view. Jack decides he has put up enough posters, and leaves to return to the police station. Lexie calls Brandon, begging him to help her, she is at his loft. He tells her where the key is, and promises to be there soon. Back at the station, Hope & Bo are reporting what happened to her, and that Lexie was there. Jennifer spots Jack and scolds him for not doing his pooper scooper story. (Jeez, how I want the old Jenn back!) He wiggles out of that, explaining that Roman had him putting up the "missing" Lexie & Isaac posters, which Roman confirms. Marlena tells Bo & Hope that all the family (Mickey, Maggie, Doug, Julie, Caroline) is out looking, including Shawn Sr. on his boat, combing the river. Abe has a very long flashback of the Carvers bringing the baby home from the hospital, naming him, and of Abe saying goodbye to Isaac. He looks at the picture of Isaac, saying "Isaac, son of Abraham" as he picks up the phone. (his goodbye to Isaac is so heartbreaking)
Abe comes out of his office, telling Hope that he has called Judge Ross, who is issuing an order granting full custody of Isaac to Hope. She is overwhelmed at this and embraces him. An officer tells them all the posters are gone, and they realize Stefano's operatives must be out. Jack claims he thought perhaps someone was following him. Abe tells Roman to pick up Rolf at DiMera mansion, but gets the report back that he is not there. Colin arrives, saying the Brady family is in trouble, they stick together, and he is there to help. Bo takes Hope into Abe's office, asking her how she knew to go to the docks. She said it must have been the dream, the pier in her dream. She looks at a picture of Isaac on Abe's desk, and tells Bo that he is still here in Salem. She can feel it.
Marlena asks if Lexie has any special friends she might contact. Abe gets a look on his face and leaves. Jack & Jenn argue about him working on this story, but Jack convinces Jenn that she would not want other newspapers to get the story and not them. She agrees to let him write it, but she will oversee every word. Roman is told he does not have enough backup to cover all the areas he wants, so Jenn volunteers to go to the DiMera house. Colin insists on going with her, Roman agrees, & it seems Jack is going to follow them. LOL

At Brandon's loft, Lexie calls Rolf, who informs her of the bounty on her head. She refuses to tell him where she is, just that it is a safe place. Brandon comes home, and Lexie tells him Isaac is asleep. He tells her about Hope, and Lexie pretends it is news to her. Brandon calls her on it, Lexie gets indignant at the cross examination (typical Lexie response) & Brandon tries to talk her out of running, telling her to think of her son, and does she really want him to grow up like Stefano. Isaac wakes up (that kid is a darling chatterbox today, lol) & Lexie once again puts on her "help me keep my son" mantra, when there is a knock at the door. She asks Brandon not to answer, but he has to, his car is outside. She begs him not to give her away, as she scurries into the bedroom. Brandon answers the door, , .to find Abraham. "Where is my wife?, and don't try to tell me you don't know" Abe snarls at Brandon. AND the credits roll.

The same night in Salem as the search is on for Lexie and Isaac. Chloe prepares for her audition at Julliard, but will she'll make the plane? The teens gather at Salem Place (doesn't ANYONE stay home and do homework any more?).

VIC AND PHIL
Philip visits Victor asking if he's available October 12th and 13th for family week at Columbia. Victor is not pleased with Philip's decision solely based on Chloe's being in NYC. Philip smart mouths and harasses his father about his own personal choices and insists he's not a kid anymore. He admits messing up and tells his father how Chloe said she never wants to see him anymore. He feels they just had a little misunderstanding and it will all work out as usual after she returns from her audition at Julliard. He tells his father about Brady making the moves on Chloe and threatens to put him back on crutches if he keeps it up.

WESLEY HOME
Nancy isn't crazy about her and Chloe taking the red eye flight to NYC for Chloe's Julliard audition. She suggests calling and asking them to give Chloe a couple more days to rest up first, but Craig takes a firm stand that everything will be okay. She finally agrees to think positive (but love the lip curl she makes when Craig holds her, ha! Hopefully one of the photo sites will capture it) Upstairs Chloe knows she should be excited about the audition she's waited so long for, but doesn't have the energy to be excited. She calls Brady, saying she needs a pep talk before she goes to NY. He tells her she'll emit confidence and the piece they picked will be great for her. She'll be brilliant. She gets tired after hanging up with him and lies down. Craig gets a call about Chloe's blood tests are in and how Dr. Murphy's on a family emergency. He tells the lab he'll be right there and acting nonchalant, assures Nancy he'll be home to take them to the airport, but goes to the hospital on the ploy of a scheduling problem needing fixing. Nancy tries to stay positive and calls up to Chloe if she needs any help and Chloe yells down she's fine and will be right down (as she struggles up in bed).

Craig gets the results in the lab and verifies the slides for himself. He's relieved as it's not what it appeared to be and the previous blood tests must have been due to the antibiotics. He recommends another blood test next week to make sure her white count is up and heads home.

Brady arrives at the Wesleys and Nancy isn't happy to see him. He offers to drive them to the airport if Craig doesn't get home in time and Nancy lightens up on him and calls Chloe down. Chloe carries her bag down the stairs and Brady rushes up to help her with it. He and Nancy can both tell Chloe's ill, but she insists on going to NYC, until she collapses in Brady's arms. Nancy feels Chloe's head and she's burning up.

SALEM PLACE
Brady and Belle are at Salem Place and she calls Shawn to see if he knows about Isaac's disappearance. Belle gets his voicemail and asks him to call her back. They split up to look for Shawn and agree to call each other if they find him. Chloe calls Brady and asks if he can do her a favor. (see above)

Belle finds Shawn at an outside cafe at a table for dinner with Jan. Belle watches from the bushes as Shawn goes inside to place their order and follows him in. Jan spots them talking and gets up to break their conversation up. Mimi is watching nearby and stops Jan, telling her she knows what she's up to and she's not going to get away with it! (high 5 Meems!) The two argue about Jan's plan to take Shawn away from Belle and Mimi clues Jan in she's not going to let her do it. She tells her to enjoy her date with Shawn as it will be her last!

Belle tells Shawn about Isaac and he doesn't care, saying Isaac's not his brother, JT is. Belle gives him a reality lesson that Isaac is his mother's kid and how his parents are freaking out over this. She tells him he doesn't care as his hot date, Jan Spears, is waiting for him. Brady joins them and asks if Belle told Shawn. Shawn decides he needs to go to the police station to be with his parents and thanks them. He grabs Jan at the table and walks off with her filling her in. Brady asks how Belle is doing and Mimi joins them venting about Jan big time. Belle tells Brady to go see Chloe and to tell her break a leg for her. She ponders that phrase with Mimi while watching Jan hug Shawn in the distance (must be why he took her away from the table to talk with her). Mimi rants about Jan and Belle takes off to do something, saying she'll meet her in 15 minutes. Mimi watches Shawn leave Jan and Cynthia approach. She eavesdrop to hear Cynthia tell Jan she knows how Jan can get Shawn and she get Philip. Cynthia tells Jan not to be so aggressive to Shawn and she plans on getting Philip as soon as he realizes Chloe doesn't want him.

Philip runs into Brady at Salem Place. Philip asks Brady where he's off to and gets upset asking if he's going to see Chloe. The two argue and Philip blames Brady for showing Chloe the tape. Brady tells Philip to take responsibility for his own actions and to stop being a selfish, lying, immature brat he is. He tells Philip that Chloe is an artist and needs her space. Philip rants but listens as Brady tells him that Chloe insists she and Philip are finished.

Belle finds Jan alone and apologizes for anything she might have done to cause her losing the baby. Jan takes the opportunity and blasts Belle for the miscarriage and Mimi and Philip rescue her and tell Jan to back off. Cynthia tells Jan she should consider an acting career and smiling, Jan tells her she's just starting. Privately Belle blames herself and Philip and Mimi refuse to let her give up on Shawn. He's not giving up on Chloe either.

COP CENTRAL
Bo and Hope wonder where Shawn is as Roman joins them. They ponder where Lexie would go and Hope has an idea. She figures Celeste would hide her daughter, but Roman knows Celeste has been at the Carver house all afternoon and it's under surveillance. Bo goes somewhere and Hope and Roman talk about how Bo's affected by all this. She knows Bo's going to make a wonderful father for Isaac and after saying that, has a white flash of the gloved hand. It dawns on Hope that Lexie would turn to Brandon Walker. Roman orders units to check Brandon's, Nicole's and Faye's homes. Shawn arrives and Hope is happy to see him.

Bo goes to see Victor. Victor is always happy to see his son and asks him to sit down. Bo apologizes for always needing help when he sees him and Victor asks what's wrong and he's always there for him. Bo tells him and Victor knows just who to call. Victor talks to someone and learns about a hidden airstrip on the other side of town that drug runners use. Bo thanks him and tells Victor he owes him and heads out.

BRANDON'S LOFT
A replay of Lexie talking with Brandon as Abe knocks on the door. He opens the door to Abe asking where the hell his wife is and threatening to arrest him for aiding and abetting a fugitive if he doesn't tell him where she is. He asks Abe what Lexie's done (that could turn around and bite him if Abe finds out Brandon was with Jennifer when Hope was wheeled into ER and found out about Isaac's disappearance with Lexie). He denies knowing where Lexie is, so Abe walks in saying he won't mind if he looks around then. Abe heads to the balcony and looks out as he sees Brandon looking nervously in that direction. Brandon mentally tells Lexie now's her only chance to get out the door and Lexie sees Abe on the balcony from the bathroom. Brandon tries to get Abe out of there, but they hear a noise from the bedroom. They find Nicole standing in there (how DID she get there?) She said she thought she heard a noise in the bedroom and was checking it out as the door was open. Abe even looks under the bed, haha, as Brandon enjoys telling Abe he was wrong. Where are Lexie and Isaac you ask? Of course, on the infamous Salem fire escape, hoping she doesn't fall while carrying Isaac, his baby bag and her purse. She slips once, but catches herself and gets down on the ground. She hides behind boxes behind Java cafe when she hears something (it's Shawn on his way to the police station (via the alleys?) A cat runs out and Shawn keeps going as Lexie calls Rolf telling him where she is. Later she and Isaac (guess Rolf has a car seat in his car too, haha) are driving through Salem with Rolf.

Abe leaves, calling Brandon a jerk as he taunts Abe. The two officers arrive and they leave with Abe. In the elevator Abe instructs them to follow Brandon and keep an eye on him. Inside Nicole watches Brandon looking for something. He tells her it's his pager, but she knows the truth. He walks her out without telling her what's happening and returns upset being he spotted the cops following him. He tells Lexie she's on her own because if he found her, he'd bring the cops with him.

Abe calls Roman from Salem Place. He got a lead someone saw Lexie there. Shawn goes down the hall to get some juice for Hope. Bo rushes in and tells them about the tip at the airstrip and he and Hope rush off to check it out as the credits roll,

SUMMARY: It's the same night in Salem, but not a good night for anyone...Lexie gets away...Jack and Jenn have a confrontation...and Sami is in for the surprise of her life! (which is a GOOD thing for Kate, Lucas & Nicole).

Over at Titan, Nicole drops in on Victor, who is extremely rude to her. She asks about the Brady baby, but Victor tells her to leave. She heads over to her office. Later, she sticks her head in to tell him that she is taking some work home, but he tells her to stay around. He has a meeting in half an hour and would like her to be there.

Sami is at Salem Place doing a little late night shopping (what time is it anyway???) and is spotted by Kate and Lucas (who are having a cup of coffee at Java cafe). Lucas is down in the mouth, but Kate is sure it isn't over yet. She considers the possibility of contacting Austin and having him testify against Sami. Lucas's goal is joint custody of Will, but Kate wants to destroy her. Sami sees them and decides to go over and kick them while they are down. She taunts them about winning, then struts off. Kate says that they MUST get rid of that witch for once and for all. Kate gets a phone call to go somewhere and tells Lucas that she'll explain on the way, so they take off. Sami gets a call from Victor, telling her to come to Titan right now and meet with him. She is curious as to what the "old fool" wants. What the heck, she has nothing to lose, so she thinks.

Sami shows up and asks what does he want and has a seat. She brags about blackmailing him and Kate earlier and then goes on to tell about how Kate and Lucas have been trying to get her (telling him about the tape). But she outsmarted them and pulls out her tape and plays the music for Victor. She says "you just can't beat Sami Brady!" She tells him don't call me, I'll call you. She turns around to leave and finds Lucas, Kate and Nicole all standing in the doorway. Sami looks at them and asks if this is some twisted version of 'Charlie's Angels' (ROFL). She goes to leave as Victor hits the PLAY button and plays her a portion of the tape. He says he "believes the expression is GOTCHA!" Surprised looks all around, especially Sami.

Also in Salem Place,
Jack is following Jenn and Colin around (hey, I thought they were going to DiMansion). Jenn calls Roman for an update as Colin spots Jack lurking around the corner. He tries to talk personal to Jenn, but she is all business and is determined to find Isaac. He mentions Africa, saying he never meant to hurt her. She asks him why he and Liz didn't get married in Vegas (as he has flashbacks). He says it just didn't work out. Jenn doesn't like this explanation and goes to leave, tripping and almost falling. Of course Colin catches her and Jack sees it. He comes rushing out with Colin asking why he has been following them. This infuriates Jenn, who orders him back to the Spectator offices. She tells him that if she calls in and he isn't there, he is fired. Of course he doesn't take her threat seriously and as Jenn and Colin leave, he is once again following them, determined to get Jenn back.

Over at the Salem PD,
Shawn finds out (from Roman) that Bo and Hope have taken off after Lexie and wants to help as well. Roman gives him a stack of flyers to fax out (not exactly what he had in mind). John and Marlena return with an idea and a laptop. Shawn asks Abe HOW he could let Lexie do this and why couldn't he stop her. Abe explains that he trusted Lexie and was blinded by love. Now, she has turned on him and all he believes in. Shawn tells about when he and Belle ran with JT and how it was Lexie who turned them in, and how it was the right thing to do. Abe just prays that she will do the right thing this time as well. As Shawn and Roman talk, he worries about his folks, but refuses to accept Isaac as his brother. Roman explains that pushing him away will not bring JT back. Abe pulls out a picture of Lexie and Isaac, saying he knew all along that he would eventually lose his son, he just never realized he would lose her as well.

In the office, John takes out his laptop and fires it up. He pulls up an air traffic grid, looking for something flying under the radar. Roman comes in and questions him about what he is doing, but John just snaps at him and he leaves. Marlena questions him as well asking how he knows about all this stuff, but he basically ignores her. She points out how ironic it would be if he learned all this from Stefano and is now using what he learned to catch Lexie. The computer beeps as John spots something and calls the airport. They don't see it, but John persuades them to put out a call to that airspace. Later, he gets a call, telling him that there was no response, but John says that at least they know that they are on to them.

Lexie on the Run,
Lexie, Isaac and Rolf are in his vehicle (she now has on a short blond wig) on their way to the airstrip. Rolf knows all the back roads and tells her not to worry. Bo and Hope are also on their way there too. They spot a vehicle on the old quarry road and take off in pursuit. Rolf sees headlights in the distance following them as he speeds up and Lexie begins to panic. In their truck, Hope has flashbacks of her confrontations with Lexie. She says she refuses to lose another son. Lexie realizes that it is Bo and Hope following them and Rolf punches it. Bo tells Hope to hang on and they speed up as well. Rolf pulls a lever and it releases something in the road, causing Bo and Hope to skid (as you hear loud noises). Rolf tells Lexie that Beauregard and Fancy Face are no longer a problem. Bo and Hope are sitting on the side of the road as he gets out to investigate. He returns with a handful of nails and informs her that all 4 tires are blown and the radiator was hit as well. He tells her the airstrip is about a mile away and asks if she has on her running shoes. They take off on foot. Rolf and Lexie are now at the airstrip waiting on the chopper. He tells her that it will take her to Canada where she and Isaac will board Stefano's private jet and it will take them to Europe. He bids her farewell as Lexie has second thoughts, but convinces herself that she is doing the right thing. You can hear helicopter noises as she looks up, telling Isaac they are going on an adventure. Bo and Hope arrive, just as the helicopter has lifted off. She breaks down in Bo's arms and sobs, but you see someone else's point of view from the bushes, watching them, as the credits roll.
