MONDAY, APRIL 8th, 2002**1/2

SUMMARY: It's a new day in Salem! Today's show deals with the Bradys, Carvers & Wesleys. More thumbs up performances from Kristian Alfonso & Peter Reckell today as the deal with the fallout of the night before.
In Las Vegas,
Philip shows up at Belle's room with breakfast, bagels and cream
cheese. Of course it has it's price, he wants her to do him a favor.
She agrees as long as it isn't one of those "Fear Factor" stunts,
like with bugs or scaling a building (LOL, 2 of the things that Ali
Sweeney recently did on that show). No, he wants her to call Chloe
for him.
Meanwhile in Salem,
Brady Black drops by the Wesley house (with doughnuts) to check on
Chloe. Craig welcomes him and sends him on up. A lady from the
hospital lab calls about an article in the Intruder. Upstairs, Nancy
is waiting on Chloe hand and foot. She isn't too happy when Brady
pops in, but eventually leaves him and Chloe alone. Nancy looks at
the paper and realizes that it is really going to hit the fan today.
Chloe wolfs down a chocolate doughnut and goes for the last chocolate
doughnut which Brady acts like he wanted. The phone rings (Belle) and
Brady answers. She asks what he is doing in Chloe's bedroom at 8 am?
He tells her about Chloe's not feeling well and he brought doughnuts
over, then talks with Chloe, who assures Belle that she is okay. As
Philip listens in, he hears Chloe tell Belle that she doesn't want to
talk to him. After they get off the phone, Philip is distraught and
gets all bent out of shape over it. He is sure that Brady has found
the tape and has taken it to Chloe. He says it is like a bomb waiting
to go off. Belle tells him that at least he still has hope with
Chloe, something she doesn't have with Shawn.
Brady jokes with Chloe about her being sick and playing it for all it's worth. But she decides she needs to get out of the house and wants to go for a ride. When she stands up, she almost falls. Brady offers to get Nancy, but she stops him. He goes to get her a glass of water and she looks at her leg, seeing a huge bruise and wonders how she got it. She hides it from him when he returns. He wants to talk to Craig about her almost fainting again, but makes him promise not to tell.
Bad News for Chloe,
Downstairs, Craig is working the phone as every department manager at
the hospital is calling and it is ringing off the hook. It seems that
the baby-switching story made the front page of the intruder. Nancy
tries to calm him down wants to go and throw Brady out. But Craig
says he may be good medicine for her. With Nancy out of the room, he
calls the lab, but no results on Chloe's tests yet. Nancy comes back
from the kitchen and tells him that some photographer was peeping in
the window. The phone rings and he stops her from answering it. She
figures out it is about Chloe and is sure he is hiding something from
her. He lies and tells her that Chloe is fine. When Nancy goes to
take some of that powerful Salem tea up to Chloe, Craig calls the lab
and the results are back. He seems upset and thinks that her blood
counts are way too low. He asks them to run the tests again and
thinks that it must be the antibiotics Chloe is on that are affecting
the tests.
Over at the Brady House,
Shawn is in bed, dreaming about Belle telling him that Jan needs him.
He wakes up calling Belle's name and hopes she will eventually
understand (dream on) and wait for him. He goes to JT's room, but it
is empty. Bo comes home from his run to find an INTRUDER paper on his
front porch. A photographer shows up and a cop hauls him off. (It
seems that the Brady's have a blockade around their house to keep
away reporters). Hope is in the kitchen cooking away and tells Bo
that she is angry with him and feels that he betrayed her. Hope (who
hides behind a plant, LOL, love these ways they try and hide her
growing belly) explains her feelings. She is angry and wants Isaac
now, for she feels as if she is dying inside. She talks about how she
wants him with them. Shawn walks in and asks what about JT, thinking
that his parents have given up on him. Bo comes down on him pretty
hard and then apologizes as they tell what happened at dotCom and
about the tabloids. Hope freaks out over seeing the INTRUDER. The
Reibers show up at the back door, returning JT. Hope is reaching for
him, but Glen is reluctant to give him back and tells them that he is
filing for custody. Shawn threatens him and Bo has to settle everyone
down. Hope begs them not to do it, but Glen is determined as they
tell them to get used to the idea. Back inside, Hope takes JT to his
room as Shawn suggests they pay them off. Bo is appalled at his son,
but realizes he is desperate. He tells his son that they must be
strong for Hope's sake. Upstairs, Hope is talking with JT, telling
him how much they love him. She picks up the photo of him and Isaac
and has another "whiteout". She wonders what is wrong with her.
Downstairs, Bo has flashbacks from the night before and remembers
having a whiteout himself and wonders whatwasupwithat??? Shawn takes
a bottle up to JT and Hope, then Bo comes up, telling them that he
just talked to Mickey and that Glen was serious. He tells them that
they have a meeting with the judge today to begin proceedings.
Over at DiMansion,
Abe and Celeste see the INTRUDER and wonder who leaked all that info.
Meanwhile, Lexie is on the phone trying to reach Cameron Reese,
wanting a restraining order against Hope. Abe catches her and rips
the phone away. A huge argument ensues with Lexie going ballistic.
Finally, Celeste tells her to just put a sock in it! (LOL) Lexie
thinks the whole world is against her as Celeste ends up siding with
Abe. They show her the paper and she is not phased by it at all. He
thinks that kind of info could only come from an insider and tells
her that that kind of press hurts them as well. Celeste gets a bad
feeling, VERY bad. As she questions Lexie, Abe calls the INTRUDER,
but the won't reveal their sources. (I think they both suspect Lexie
of leaking the info, but neither will say it). Lexie gets upset and
storms off. Abe and Celeste discuss how he is sure that Bo and Hope
are going to lose JT and that they will lose Isaac for the very same
reasons. He says that he will do what he can LEGALLY, but they must
face the facts, they are going to lose Isaac. Lexie meets up with
that reporter in an alley and gives him another envelope of info on
the Bradys. She says that it includes info on Hope's affairs and
about their son "knocking up" some girl. She says that it's time
everyone found out what a bunch of low-lifes they were and that no
judge would ever take her baby away from her and give him to them, as
the credits roll.

TUESDAY, APRIL 9, 2002**

SUMMARY: It's a new morning in Las Vegas as our Salemites start their day and most prepare to head home.
Greta wakes to find Jack sleeping in a corner chair, clutching his briefcase. He's dreaming of finding the money in his briefcase the night before (even wearing green himself in the dream), cherishing each bill saying it's all his (tell Guido in the lobby that Jack). An excited Jack can't stop talking and even Greta is worn out by it (not a morning person obviously, haha) and heads for the shower. Jack opens the briefcase and lustily holds the cash, saying possession is 9/10's of the law. He lectures himself about the consequences of using the money for himself and if Jenn were to find out and decides to do the honest thing, figuring he'll get his just reward by doing so. In the hotel, the goons weren't able to find anyone knowing Jack Deverox's location, but when he's found, say he's a dead man.
Downstairs in the casino, Jenn and Brandon hide behind menus in the restaurant. Neither wants to be found (by Jack or Sami) there. He hopes the next morning they can have breakfast in bed and no one will see them (so much for an overnight trip, just how long is Abby's camping trip?) They don't know that Colin and Elizabeth didn't marry after all and figure they're on their honeymoon. Jenn asks if he wants to help Sami, but he tells her Sami's not his responsibility, but Nicole is and wants to check on her before she leaves.
Roman apologizes to the manager and informs him the bridal party will be checking out that day. The manager tells Roman the bride's room is almost cleaned up and Lucas and Kate overhear, planning to find that recorder. Dressed in maintenance coveralls, Lucas dons a BIG fake mustaches for a disguised (LOL) and they tell the two cleaning guys they've been reassigned to the health club. The guys believe them and leave, but return a minute later, saying they're on to them. They figure they're another team and were warned about them. Their friend said the woman half is pretty and in her late 20's, early 30's. Lucas muffles a "yeah, right" (ROFLMAO!) as Kate turns and glares at him. She tells the other guys her partner (Benji) was anxious to get to the health club and chat up the pretty gals working out down there. The guys decide that would be the better assignment and leave. Later Kate and Lucas have searched the room and can't find the recorder. They leave and run into Brandon in the hallway. Fearing they were recognized when he calls for them to stop, he tells them they dropped a screwdriver and they hide their faces and skidattle away. Brandon sees the room torn up (that's almost cleaned up?) and picks up Sami's bouquet, wishes her luck (to himself) and too bad she chose the wrong guy as he tosses it on the couch and leaves. The cleaning guys return, frustrated with being sent to the club unnecessarily. They pull the recorder out of their pocket, glad they found it before being sent out and hope to get a reward for it. The other cleaning guy offers the first $10 and he takes it.
Upstairs Sami (finally in shirt and jeans) wakes up calling for Austin. Now with no make up on, she tells Marlena that she saw Nicole and Austin and how they ran away together. Roman comes to the room and Sami tells them (after she puts on her glasses?) about her theory that Nicole and Austin took off together after Kate and Lucas put her up to it. (gee, after crying so much all night, her eyes aren't very puffy ;-) Roman tells her he ran into Austin outside the hotel while he was getting into the cab for the airport to go to NYC (alone) and Austin told Roman to tell her that he didn't want to see or talk to her and it's over. She can't believe he could do that. Grandpa Shawn brings Will and explains that Austin told Will about the wedding being canceled and Will wants to know why. She doesn't answer, just tells him he was a good boy and will get that skateboard he wanted for being so good. She promises him that she and Austin will be married soon. The others realize she's lost touch with reality and change the subject, talking about their flight home. Shawn mentions Austin promised Will he can be with his daddy when he gets home and Will asks about it anxiously.
Nicole and Philip bump into each other downstairs. He tells her he'll see her on the plane. She tells him things have changed and he notices her ring is gone. She tells Philip she never really accepted his father's proposal and things happened. He's not disappointed, it's no secret he's always wanted his parents together anyway.
Upstairs Victor tells someone that Nicole has become a problem (gee, he was professing never-ending love the day before, guess love is like a business deal when it goes sour to Mr. K) She goes to his room to make sure he's okay. He doesn't buy that reason, but she wanted to tell him about Austin's business proposal before he left. Victor brushes her off, saying they'll talk about it at the office and to make an appointment with Marie. She tells him she didn't know he was coming and booked a commercial flight, round trip. He hopes the lines aren't too long and she decides to leave, but he calls her back. He coyly tells her he just needs time alone with Philip and she leaves, saying she'll see them in Salem. Victor mutters to himself that she won't as she leaves. Philip tells his father he knows about him and Nicole not getting married and is sympathetic for him. Victor isn't upset at all and Philip asks what Victor is planning to do to Nicole (a fine example for you son Vic) by the way he's reacting.
Jack comes down to the casino with the briefcase and runs into Jenn. He tells her that Brandon will be in the gym most of the time and not much fun for her. He goes to leave to return the briefcase and she asks what's in it. She can tell by the way he clutches it something big is going on and she just doesn't want to be involved in whatever it is. He tells her that his night with Greta was "intense". She laughs and can tell he slept in his suit and tells him she's going to enjoy the rest of her time there with her date. He walks away and overhears the goons asking about him and hides being a suitcase trolley as they describe how they're going to clean him like a fish. He returns to the room clutching the briefcase, scared stiff as Greta asks whatsup. He shows her the money, saying they're going to kill him.
Marlena talks to John on her cell in the lobby saying she'll see him on the jet and glad to hear Belle's okay. Sami sees someone that looks like Austin, but he turns around startled being it's not when she runs after him.
Brandon and Nicole hug and talk in the lobby about the wedding that didn't happen. He assures her that Samantha is going to deal with this on her own as he's there with Jennifer. She asks whatsupwiththat, but he's vague. She figures Sami will try to get him again now that Austin's gone. He asks about her feelings for Austin and she agrees she felt more then she thought for him. He's happy to hear she and Victor aren't getting together and she tells Brandon that she'll see him back in Salem. Brandon's worried about her, but she tells him not to worry. She can hurt Victor if he tries to hurt her.
Kate plays the slots as she and Lucas talk. Kate gets a $20 jackpot and is excited, saying her luck has changed. Sami rounds the bend after overhearing, saying Kate's luck has changed for the worst. Kate asks the desk clerk about the recorder, saying it's her sons. They said they already mailed it to Austin at his home address (if it's in the "brides" room, why didn't they just give it to the "bride?") Sami overhears and after Kate and Lucas rush out to be home to intercept the mail, rushes her parents out the door. She's got a mission and anxious to get home, but just tells them she's had coffee and perky now, haha, as the credits roll, .

The judge reaches a decision, young people converge on Dot.Com, & Craig gets the results he has been waiting for (Warning, I needed tissues for a couple scenes today)
AT DIMANSION, Lexie tells Rolf how she has given the reporter the 2nd installment on Hope, and has still more for him. Rolf says how proud she is acting like a true DiMera, then informs her of the hearing about JT being moved up. Lexie has a fit, as Cameron Reese was supposed to insure that the Reibers dropped their custody suit. She wants Hope to keep JT (Lexie, you have GOT to be kidding, with all that gossip you gave the tabloids, what did you expect?) Eliana comes to remind Lexie about her appointment for a checkup for Isaac. She also mentions that Craig has called several times. When she leaves Lexie says she is not returning his calls, he hassled her about maternity leave, and again when she applied for an extension (AHA, ..so that is why Lexie has not worked in two years. Gee, a two year maternity leave, what a great place to work)
AT THE BRADY HOUSE, Bo is holding JT, as Hope plays with him, and Shawn watches. (that kid is soooo cute, and when Hope says JT to him, he repeats" JT", awwwww) She is disappointed they cannot go on the picnic today, since the hearing got moved up. Bo says they must prepare themselves for losing JT, and Shawn gets upset. Jan comes in, and Hope suggests she accompany Shawn to Gran's w/JT, but she wants to stay home and nap. When everyone is gone, Jan keeps looking at herself in the mirror, not liking how big she has gotten, and mutters to herself, that when this baby is out of there (pointing to her stomach) and she gets her shape back, Shawn is gonna say "Belle WHO?", and curls her lip into a snarl.
AT THE HORTON HOUSE, Shawn brings JT in. Alice chats with Shawn about JT, asking why he is always talking about Isaac taking JT's place, and asks about his own baby. Shawn squirms a bit, but talks about Jan getting more comfortable with the baby she did not want at first. (Oh, Gran knows something is amiss here), and gently questions him about when the baby is born, and Jan does not want to give up the baby for adoption. Is he ready to be a father, and more important, would Jan be ready to be a mother. (Yeah, right!)
AT DOT COM , Mimi & Belle meet up, and tis the end of
Spring Break. Mimi says she spent the time with Kevin, and bemoans
Belle's time with the wedding that wasn't. Belle gifts her with a
sack full of chocolate coins from Vegas. Mimi brings Belle up to
speed on how Shawn got beat up by Jason, & how he came back with
Hawk & another guy to drag Shawn into the alley. She tells how
she called Brady, which does not make Belle too happy, since Brady
has a temper. Mimi agrees and tells how Brady gave Shawn a punch or
two after rescuing him. They talk of Shawn, and how Belle feels, and
Mimi, shows her the Intruder article about the Bradys.
Outside Chloe & Brady arrive (Chloe does look pale and wan,
appears tired) and Brady isn't too sure she should be out, but she
just wanted to get away from Nancy's hovering, and mocks Nancy's
queries to her (not nice, Chloe). They talk of college, Chloe's plans
for Julliard, and the acceptance letters should be arriving any day
now. She mentions Philip, and Brady is surprised to hear they are
sort of seeing each other again, tho Chloe says it is just as
friends. They go inside, where Belle spots them. Chloe & Mimi go
off to give Brady & Belle some time to catch up. Brady says he is
sorry that Belle had to go thru that non-wedding stuff, & he
knows Belle loves her sister, but he is happy Austin finally woke up
and saw the light. He mentions Caprice is arriving today, and she did
not want him to pick her up at the airport. Chloe & Mimi talk
about Shawn, & Mimi asks Chloe how she is feeling, since she
looks about like Jan did when they were cleaning toilets and she
would throw up - not knowing yet she was pregnant. Chloe assures her
she is NOT pregnant. Mimi then talks of how she just cannot believe
Shawn would do this to Belle, and tho she knows Jan has been after
him, something is not right, and she is going to find out what. They
rejoin Belle & Brady, Mimi takes off, Chloe sends Brady for a
coffee. She talks with Belle, & the Cynthia video is brought up.
Chloe is glad it is destroyed, but Belle explains how it wasn't and
she is sorry. Chloe panics at the idea Brady might find it and watch
it. Brady comes for Chloe, and he tells her of this important
appointment he has, one that should be life altering for him. She
refuses a ride home with him, saying she is fine, but after he
leaves, she admits to herself how tired she is.
Outside the Brady home, Belle is pacing, rehearsing a speech to Shawn about how sorry she is that Brady punched him out. She finally knocks at the door, surprised when Jan answers. She asks for Shawn, then his parents, ..with Jan saying no, none are there. When Belle asks her "Then what are YOU doing here", Jan drops the bombshell, ."I live here".
AT THE HOSPITAL, Craig calls the lab again, but the test results are still not ready. Lexie arrives with Isaac, and Nurse Brenda takes him for his appt., telling her how sorry she is about that baby switch. Craig spots Lexie, asking if she got his messages. She says yes, but she is suing hospital anyway about baby switch. Craig reminds her the hospital was a great place when she was brought in after the explosion, and he saved her life. He confronts her about her knowledge of baby switch, mentioning Nancy overhearing her babbling in the hall, and Stefano then threatening Nancy. Lexie denies anything, Nurse Brenda brings Craig a phone message. He leaves to call the lab. The tech tells him the results are the same, and Craig is not happy. He says when his stepdaughters finishes her round of antibiotics, they will do them again, and get a clearer picture, but it is obvious he is worried. Nurse Brenda brings Isaac out to Lexie, saying checkup was fine. Isaac is babbling away (cute to hear these kids talking) and Lexie swears no one will take him from her.
AT THE HEARING, Bo, Hope & Mickey talk in one part, while the Reibers and Cameron Reese talk in another. Ms. Reese again tries to talk the Reibers out of seeking custody of the child with such special needs, but they are determined. All go inside, as the Judge begins her statement. She talks of how well the Bradys have cared for JT, but how Glen was deprived of his parental rights. She talks of how he had the same job since high school, until he came to Salem to search for his son. She talks of several things, then awards custody to the Reibers. Hope dissolves into tears, accusing the judge of not reading all the material in the depositions. The judge threatens to remove her from the courtroom, then mentions the Reibers moving with JT to Iowa! Barb's extended family lives there, so they will have lots of support. Her mother and two sisters, one of whom is head nurse in the pediatric ward. Glen has gotten a job with his brother-in-law's company, so financially, they will be fine. Bo & Hope are devastated. The judge says Mickey & Cameron should formulate a plan for the Bradys to relinquish custody. The Reibers are very happy, and needless to say the Bradys are heartbroken. Hope is inconsolable. As Bo talks to Mickey, Hope looks at them, again getting a whiteout. Bo then orders Mickey to start the paperwork. The Bradys are going after Isaac. And the credits roll.

SUMMARY: Jack's on the run from the goons as Sami returns home to find Lucas is her new neighbor.
HOME SWEET HOME
Sami and Will are escorted home by Roman and Marlena. They walk in
and Sami gasps in surprise (as the others stare too) at what they
find. The apartment is filled with wedding gifts. Will wants to open
them as Roman tries to explain why they can't. Marlena rushes Will
into his room to put on a video game she bought for him in Las Vegas
and Roman apologizes for not remembering to get rid of the gifts
before they got home. He'll return them to the senders now though and
she thanks him. Marlena asks Sami why Austin canceled the wedding and
Sami says 3 reasons, Kate, Lucas and Nicole. They don't buy it. She
accuses those 3 of brainwashing Austin, but her parents tell her to
take some responsibility for what happened. Sami spits back she
doesn't want her as a shrink and Roman tells her not to speak to her
mother like that. Sami agrees to tell the truth and tries to blame
Kate and Lucas again, saying Lucas came to the brides room pretending
to want to get along for Will's sake and Austin overheard their
conversation. Sami said Austin misunderstood and her parents demand
an answer before leaving. A replay of the Lucas/Sami encounter in the
bride's room as Sami remembers the truth about admitting Lucas didn't
hit Will and Austin overhearing. She says she threatened to take Will
away from Lucas forever and Austin overheard and went into a rage
over it.
Back in their own apartment (Austin's old one), Lucas and Kate unpack and gloat of their accomplishments in Las Vegas. They love living close to Will and being able to torture Sami more. Lucas knocks on Sami's door and Sami asks what he's doing there. Lucas informs her that he's her new neighbor as he's subletting from Austin. He calls out to Will that daddy's there and Will rushes out from his room. Sami tries to get rid of Lucas, but he's not to be put off, even as Roman said now's not a good time for a visit. Will wants to show him his new video game, so Lucas tells him to get it and bring it to his apartment. Will rushes and gets the game and dashes past Lucas and into the apartment on his own, LOL. Sami tells Lucas he won't get away with it and he smiles saying he just has. Kate hugs Will and they set up the video game for Will to play. Lucas tells Kate they have Sami just where they want her. He and Will play the video game and afterwards Kate and Lucas tell him about a model airplane they bought for him at the airport that he and Lucas can build together.
Sami feigns being tired and wants a nap (ha!) and gives her parents the bum rush after thanking them for their help. They leave and she tosses a gift on the floor damning Lucas and his mother and refusing to let them win. In the hall her parents didn't buy her "tired" spiel and the detective in Roman picks up on more going on, ha ha. They discuss Sami's explanation and Marlena figures the best thing they can do is be supportive. Roman realizes Las Vegas was calm compared to the upcoming bloodbath that will happen with Lucas living next door.
LAS VEGAS
Jenn is still playing the slots as red rose pedals are tossed over
her as Brandon hands her a bouquet of roses. Kiss Kiss Oliver
Wentworth sees Jenn and joins them. She introduces him to Brandon and
Oliver asks where Jack is as he's late for their meeting. She tells
him it's typical Jack's late, but covers in Jack's favor as Brandon
observes her double talk..especially when Oliver mentions wanting his
employees morally straight.
Talk about time blooper, Greta is still in her bathrobe after her shower asking about the money in Jack's briefcase (the bridal party hadn't even left the hotel when she went into the shower and they're back in Salem unpacking already). She asks Jack about the money as he fearfully tries to explain. She remembers the incident where he bumped into the goon and how his resumes identify him. He says their room is under Oliver's company name, but she reminds him his resumes in the other briefcase tell the goons everything they need to know about him. She figures as long as they return the money, all will be well. She goes back to the bathroom to get dressed and Jack panics as he turns on the TV to see the two goons faces on the news and are wanted for robbing an armed car. Down in the casino J&G run into Harold who's there on business (oh PALEEZ). Jack is rude and Harold calls him on it and hopes Jack comes out soon as he's so old already. Greta punches Jack in the gut and tells him to be cordial. Jenn and Brandon see them talking to Harold and join the group, asking who Harold is. Harold is dismissed and Jenn clues Jack in on Oliver's being around. Jack sees the goons and he and Greta disappear quickly. Jenn introduces herself and Brandon to Harold as he's checking into the hotel. She tells him she's Jack's ex and he refers to Jack as a closet case. Jenn is surprised that he thinks Jack is gay and she and Brandon talk about Jack's strange behavior after Harold leaves. She's determined to find out the truth and Brandon follows suit (a real romantic getaway, ey?).
Jack puts on a dealers visor and pretends to be dealing (yeah, I'm sure the pit bosses would let a non-dealer get away with THAT in Vegas, ha). He fumbles with the cards and the goons spot him and chase after him. Greta finds two muscle laden hunks in the hall and uses the damsel in distress line, telling them two guys (the goons) are harassing her and can they help. They take on the goons and Greta and Jack dash to get away.
Greta runs into Harold and tells him why she's there with Jack as he admires the fake engagement ring. She asks him for his help and grabs him into a kissing embrace to hide as the goons walk by. Harold tells her to get a grip. They run into Jenn and Brandon in the casino and all go to look for Jack with the goons on their tail, threatening to take out Jack and maybe the whole group if needed. They arrive at the backstage door and Harold wants to check if his shipment arrived (he's got a job there).
Jack tries different doors and happily finds the backstage door as someone touches his shoulder. It's Oliver, anxious to see Jack's resume (after all this time he hasn't gotten one?) to show his Human Resources people. Jack said it didn't copy very well and Oliver said they'll talk over dinner then. He asks about the gal he brought and tells him Jenn gave him an earful on Jack earlier. He assures Jack it was all good and doesn't want an employee who's driven by his libido, needing a straight shooter. Jack remembers the shower he and Jenn had together at home as they had their honest conversation that we know and love for this couple.. (if you missed it before, here's your chance to see it tomorrow). Oliver tells Jack he bought some property last week and wants Jack to run it , ..any guesses? Big surprise..he bought The Salem Spectator and wants Jack to be editor in chief. Jack is speechless and admits it's been his dream to do that. The search team sees them and joins them as Harold hugs his dad, Oliver Wentworth, (no, not another April Fools joke) as the credits roll, ..

SUMMARY: Chloe and Philip chat at the mall...Bo and Hope break the bad news to Shawn...Abe and Lexie celebrate their anniversary...Caprice makes her first appearance and Belle and Jan face off.
At Salem Place,
Chloe sits on a park bench as Philip comes by and joins her. From
afar, Mimi sees them and is joined by Cynthia who wonders why Chloe
would even speak to him now. Mimi informs Cynthia that Belle has the
video, Chloe has not seen it and never will and that Belle is going
to destroy it. Chloe tells Philip that she has not been feeling well
(as her hand trembles), thinking it may be the flu. He asks if she is
upset over Cynthia, but she doesn't want to talk about it. He says
that he is glad that Belle destroyed the video. He has a gift for
her, a necklace with a gold pendant of a tree, complete with their
initials carved on it. She thinks it is beautiful but can't accept
it, being it's too expensive and gives it back. He asks her to the
movies, but Chloe is distracted, keeping an eye on Mimi and Cynthia.
He talks about the last time they were at the movies and swears that
he never had sex with Cynthia, Chloe is the only one he wants. She
finally gives in to a low-pressure date, such as bowling, but not
now, she is really tired and wants to get better. Philip hopes that
they can work out their problems and that she is feeling better soon.
He notices that her hands are cold as he takes them. Cynthia watches,
wondering why Belle Black would protect Philip. She says that he
needs to learn a lesson.
Anniversary at DiMansion,
Abe rushes home (seems he got an urgent call from Lexie) to find her
dressed in her best red dress with an anniversary dinner waiting. She
tries to smooth things over with him, but Abe seems a bit wary. She
tells him that he sees her as a villain, but is just being a mother,
wanting to protect her child. She vows that she loves him and Isaac
and is sorry for all the nasty things she has said. After dinner,
Lexie tells him that she needs him right now and to not pull away
from her. He tells her that he truly wants to be there and to take
care of his family. He has a gift for her. She opens it to find a CD
(that he made) of the music from their wedding. (Wow, Abe, big
spender). She pops it and they dance to a Luther Vandross song. She
has a gift for him as well, a gold pocket watch, with a picture of
them and Isaac inside. She says that he will have them with him
always. Abe tries to prepare her for the possibility of losing Isaac,
but she doesn't want to hear of it. Later, Eliana brings down Isaac
(who is chattering away about "the book"). A messenger shows up with
papers, informing them that the Bradys are suing for custody of
Isaac. (Wow, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!)
Over at the Brady House,
we get a replay of the Belle/Jan confrontation. Jan rubs Belle's nose
in the fact that she is practically family and is now living there.
Belle gets sharp with Jan, who invites her in, as she flops on the
sofa (as Belle waits in the doorway) and prattles on about how Shawn
is being so good to her. Belle snaps at her about being a liar and
tells her that Shawn doesn't love her and she is ruining his life.
Belle tells her that Shawn will end up hating her. Belle comes in,
telling Jan that Shawn doesn't love her and never will. Jan yells for
her to "go to hell" and lunges at her. Belle side-steps her and Jan
hits the floor. Belle tries to help her up or call a doctor, but Jan
slaps her across the face, yelling at her to just get out. After
Belle leaves, Jan calls her a witch, saying that she will NEVER get
Shawn back. Later, (Jan has even changed clothes now) she comes down
the stairway and stumbles, tumbling all the way down the stairs.
Hello, Caprice,
Belle returns to the penthouse to find Caprice (a Miss Cleo clone)
and they have a reunion. (WHERE are John and Marlena?) She notices
the scratch on Belle's face and asks what happened. Belle changes the
subject and asks if she will be staying long. Caprice says who knows?
She asks what is troubling Belle, but she is reluctant to share. She
tells Belle if she needs to talk, just ask. She goes back to her
unpacking as Belle checks out the scratch in the mirror. She has
flashbacks of her and Shawn building the snowman and lies on the bed,
wondering how Shawn could be with Jan if he really loves her. She
goes to watch her 'Friends' tape that Brady made for her, but to her
surprise, there's Philip and Cynthia on her screen. She gasps is the
tape plays on.
At Alice's House,
Shawn and Alice await news from the hearing as Bo and Hope return
with the news, all bad. Needless to say, Shawn doesn't take it very
well and falls apart. Alice gives them some "family time" as Bo
explains what happened. Shawn is upset by all of it, especially the
part of the Reibers moving to Iowa. He also tells him that they are
going to file for custody of Isaac. This upsets Shawn even more,
feeling like they are trading JT for Isaac. Hope tries to explain
that she wants BOTH of her boys, but it just cannot be. As Bo takes
JT up for his nap, Hope and Shawn talk about JT and Isaac. She tells
him that he needs to be strong right now and he apologizes for making
it so rough on them. Bo returns and offers some sage advice on
parenting. But Shawn just can't accept losing JT and angrily storms
off. Later, Alice tries to comfort Bo and Hope as she has more of the
white flashes while thinking of Isaac. Bo goes to find Shawn as Hope
laments to Alice. Alice consoles her, telling her to hold on to the
joy, not the pain. Hope hates the thought of taking Isaac from her
friends, but Alice assures her that she has no choice.
After Cynthia leaves Mimi in Salem Place, Shawn comes tearing through there. Mimi tries to stop him and offer her help, but he tells her that he has something to take care of. She rags on Jan and tells him that she is his friend and can help if he would only ask, but he basically tells her to butt out and tells her that he knows what he is doing and rushes off.
Bo, looking for Shawn, returns home. He goes inside and finds Jan unconscious on the floor. He tries to wake her, but she doesn't respond, and the credits roll.
