Dr. Colin Murphy shows his dark side. Jack interrupts Jenn and Brandon. Sami gets just what she deserves!

Jack, Jenn, Brandon & Nicole
Jenn is in her room getting ready, when Brandon shows up, needing help. She helps him fix his tie and they almost kiss, but she pulls away. She goes to return to her room, but is locked out without her key. He has a spare (says the desk clerk thought they were together). They end up thisclose and kiss.

Out in the hallway, Jack gets off the elevator and literally runs into Nicole (they seem to do that a lot, huh?) They are oh-so thrilled to see each other and begin to argue and talk about how each of them is so annoying. Both ask why the other is there and banter back and forth. Nicole shoves him out of her way as Brandon and Jennifer hear the scuffle in the hallway and go to investigate. Jack is shocked to see Jenn in Brandon's room, wearing only her bathrobe as Nicole makes cracks about the lipstick on Brandon's face. Jenn heads to her own room as Nicole rubs it in and snickers to Brandon.

Brandon and Nicole go into his room and Brandon asks what is wrong with her. She goes on to talk about the Amazing Sami. She asks if he is jealous over Sami marrying Austin and he tells her that he is with Jennifer now. She tells him about Victor proposing to her. Brandon catches on and asks if she is in love with someone else. She tries to justify marrying Victor, but he tells her not to sell out, if she loves Austin, to go for it. But she says there is nothing else she can do. He tells her not to settle for less than true love. She acts tough, like it doesn't bother her, Austin is marrying Sami and there is nothing she can do about it.

Jack follows Jennifer to her room as she tries to get rid of him. He asks how she can kiss one man and love another. She has flashbacks of her and Colin in Africa and then of him kissing Liz. Jack tells her to stay true to her dreams. She tries to slam the door in his face, but he barges on in and asks if she is still in love with him. He wants to know what is going on with her and tells her not to expect him to give up without a fight. On his way out the door, he says that he KNOWS she still loves him. As Jennifer gets ready, she can't understand why Colin's wedding is getting to her so much. She says that Jack can never know that she has feelings for Colin. In the hall, Jack is sure that there is something else going on here, and he vows to uncover the truth.

Dr. Murphy's Dark Side
Colin is on the phone with someone (we never find out who) and his side of the conversation is lots of "uh-huh's". He tells the other person that once he and Liz are Dr. & Mrs. Murphy, the plan will be in motion and that she doesn't suspect a thing. Well, she has walked up behind him and heard it all as he talks about sealing the deal. She rushes off and when he turns around, she is gone. He goes up to their room, looking for her, but she is gone and so are all of her things. He tears up the room (not sure what he is looking for) and then finds a note on the mirror. It says that she heard everything and knows that he doesn't love her. She says she is glad she found out and for him not to look for her. He crumples the note and then goes ballistic, then storms out the door. He calls "whoever" and tells them that the wedding is off and that they must devise a new plan. He tells them that Liz has no idea of what was really going on or who he is working with. He tells them they have gone too far for it all to come undone.

The Wedding that Wasn't
Belle, Philip, PopShawn and Caroline are all in the chapel waiting and chatting, wondering where everyone is. As Belle and Philip talk about Shawn and Chloe (respectively) Will wants to go and see his mommy, so Shawn takes him. But before leaving, he makes a crack to Caroline about this wedding being on April Fool's Day. (ROFLMAO!!!)

We get a replay of Sami and Lucas going at it, with Austin overhearing. Sami asks how long he has been there and he replies "long enough". He asks Lucas to step out of the room as Sami tries to spin her lies. Austin says NO, not this time. In the hall, Belle and Philip walk up and talk to Lucas. Then Will and Shawn arrive, all wondering where Sami is. Lucas tells them that she will be "finished" soon. (LOL! Ain't that the truth). Shawn needs to go and buy more film and Lucas offers to watch Will. Belle and Philip want to check on Sami, but Lucas stops them, telling them that Austin is in there with her. Will asks if that is bad luck as they try to explain to him. Belle and Philip leave to return to the chapel and Will stays with Lucas. Will and Lucas hug as he tells his son that it's the two of them together forever. Shawn returns to the chapel with the film and Caroline sends him to get Will and to tell Sami to get a move on. Belle and Philip return too, only to talk some more about Shawn and Chloe (yawn). Lucas starts feeling his pockets, looking worried. Will asks him what he is looking for and Lucas replies his insurance policy. He has flashbacks and we see that he had a small tape recorder in his pocket. Shawn comes back and gets Will and Lucas has flashbacks of fighting with Sami and figures that the recorder must've fallen out of his pocket. Then there is a shot of it sticking out from under the sofa in the room. Back in the chapel, Shawn tells Caroline that he thinks something strange is going on with Lucas. Will tells them that his daddy lost his insurance policy. Confused, all wonder where Sami could be.

Well, she is in the bridal room, getting reamed out, that's where she is! Austin is furious with her as she begins trying to cover up with lies. But he has her number this time! She tries to say she was protecting Will from Lucas, but he tells her that Will needed to be protected from HER and that she should be in jail. She keeps trying to explain, but he is furious with her, saying that she betrayed him and he will never trust her again. She turns on the waterworks and cries to cry her way out of it, but he just stares at her. He demands to know the truth about her blackmailing Victor, but she lies again, saying that she just wanted to get them away from Kate and Lucas. By this time he is really angry with her and tells her that her sick game is over and that she has lost both of them have. He calls himself a naive idiot (no comment) and her a sick liar. She pleads and begs but he tells her it is over and his feelings for her are dead as she boo-hoos harder. He pulls out his vows and tears them up. She begs him to forgive her, but he tells her that she needs help. She apologizes through tears and begs him to marry her. NO, he yells at her that he is NOT going to be her husband, boyfriend, friend, pen pals, etc. We are THROUGH, he says, get it through your thick head. (LOL). He says he is through with her FOREVER and not to make a scene. As he goes to leave, she falls to the floor, latching onto his leg, crying and begging him not to leave her...and the credits roll.

TUESDAY, APRIL 2, 2002***

SUMMARY: All in Salem today as Chloe takes a fall and Brady rushes her to the hospital, Celeste shows up at Lexie's front door and the Brady's have an emotional evening.

THE WESLEYS
Chloe and Brady stroll in the park eating ice cream. Her mind is on Shawn and Belle and she can't get how Brady hit Shawn. Brady's sorry they ran out of mocha chip ice cream that she wanted, but she admits the Rocky Road was good. She tells him she went to the park for ice cream last summer to get her mind off her problems, but something better came along, him. They talk about last summer and how nice it was to hang out with him. It really helped her move on in her life and he's really been a great friend to her. She can't believe he and Philip are related. Phillip's so high strung and he's not, he's the easiest person to be around, at least for her. He turns and stares at her and wipes away some ice cream from her face and licks it off his finger. She asks him to swing her and dashes for the swing as he pushes her higher and higher at her bidding. We see the foreground swaying as she's getting dizzy and she sails off the swing, smack onto the ground. Brady rushes over and apologizes for swinging her too high. She tells him she's okay when he asks if Craig and Nancy are still at the hospital as he wants to take her there to get checked out, but she tells him no until he sees a bruise on her arm (that was fast). She gets up and collapses again as she tries to walk away and he picks her up (a couple little groans doing so, haha) and carries her off.

At the hospital, Nancy is restless, waiting for Craig to finish up his work. He asks her to wait patiently and if she did, he'd take her to Tuscany for dinner on the way home. Nope, Nancy wants to fix a good dinner for him and Chloe as she can tell Chloe's not feeling well. Brenda interrupts with a note. Mrs. Winston and the other board members are worried about the baby switch rumors and want to talk. Craig denies this could happen, but Nancy remembers something and said it might not be a rumor after all. She reminds him how last May when she was in the ER after the heart attack scare (the infamous belch scene) and Lexie was brought in from the explosion at Tuscany. When Lexie was coming out of unconsciousness she was mumbling they switched the babies while they were in the ER at the same time. Lexie came up with a lame excuse and then Stefano threatened her to not say anything. Craig gets mad that Stefano threatened her and she didn't tell him, but she said it slipped her mind and there was so much going on. She tells him Stefano's not around anymore and Craig said they have to get to the bottom of this. Craig calls his secretary and asks her to set up a meeting with Lexie Carver first thing in the morning. Nancy begs Craig to set up a physical for Chloe and he finally agrees, but she has to make sure Chloe shows up for it. Love her "Lucy" type of reaction, saying that won't be easy. She reminds him no Tuscany tonight, she's cooking. He steps away and Nancy overhears some nurses rave over cookies Jen made with Alice's recipe. She also overhears that Jen and Abby are submitting the recipe for the magazine contest and gets irate. She drags Craig over to test the cookie, proclaiming it dry and how Alice's days as cookie queen are almost over. Nearby, Nurse Brenda is dealing with a reporter from The Intruder as Craig overhears and comes to the rescue and gets rid of him. As he threatens to fire any staff member who talks to The Intruder, Brady rushes in carrying Chloe and telling them what happened. Craig calls for a gurney. Craig rushes off with Chloe as Nancy asks Brady what he did to her. He tells her he just pushed her on a swing and Nancy swears to hold him responsible if anything's wrong.

In the exam room Chloe is awake, telling Craig she was just dizzy. He sees the bad bruise on her arm and asks her to humor him by letting him do some tests. She agrees. He orders a full blood panel and Nancy overhears when she rushes in. He lets her see Chloe, but as soon as Chloe tells her she's fine, Brady walks in with a bunch of flowers as Chloe smiles. Craig rushes Nancy away to avoid a squabble. Chloe looks at her bruise, but assures Brady she's fine.

LEXIE GETS (IS) A HEADACHE
Abe comes home and wants to talk with Lexie, not liking the way things were left between them. First he wants to go upstairs and see Isaac, but she tells him he can't. She just got Isaac down and he hasn't been sleeping well. She'll bring him down to the station when he wakes up, so why doesn't he go back to work? Too bad Lex, he's not going anywhere. She gets a call on her cell with Abe watches. She's rude to the person, saying the meeting will take place when she's ready. Abe asks and Lexie said it was Linda, her tailor, wanting to do a fitting. (Ok, I'm a make believe tailor, Barb is Glen's wife, when's Laney going to show up in Salem??, haha) He doesn't buy it or her spiel about wanting to be alone. She tells him she has a bad headache and will lie down for a while. She apologizes for what happened earlier and promises to talk when she's feeling better. He tells her that he'll leave for about an hour and her headache better be gone by then when he returns. She lies she's sure it will and rushes over to the phone when the door slams. She tells whomever that she's ready and she'll meet them in their arranged place. She makes sure Abe's driving off and rushes to the door to open it and find Celeste there, saying she's returned (welcome back Celeste!) and laden with gift bags. Lexie thought her mother wouldn't be back until the end of summer, but Celeste explains she's been having "irritating vibrations" that her family needs her and rushed home to civilization. Lexie admits something's wrong and they'll talk, but needs to get out for some fresh air. Celeste refuses to go anywhere w/o seeing her grandson first.

AT THE BRADY'S
Glen, Barb and the social worker arrive to pick up JT. Bo gives them the bag they prepared with clothes, food and toys. Barb comments they had stopped by for some toys for JT to play with on the way over and Hope comes downstairs with JT. Bo hugs the two of them and says it's time. She hugs JT and reluctantly hands him to Glen. She confirms his medicine needs and tells them the Dr.'s pager number is in his bag. Barb assures Hope nicely he'll be okay as does the social worker. As they walk away, Bo holds Hope asking what he can do to make it better for her. She wants him to lie that there's no doubt they'll get custody of JT, but knows he can't. She urges him to go back to work. They need to resume normal activities. She has laundry to do (convenient laundry basket and plant to cover her stomach), but tells him the hardest time will be bedtime when JT won't be in the next room. He promises to be there for her, now and always. He kisses her goodbye with orders to call if she needs him. She puts away clothes in JT's nursery and breaks down while looking at his empty crib. She looks at a dual framed picture of JT and one of them flashes, disappears and a picture of Isaac is there. Hope rushes out of the room saying she has to get out of there.

AT THE MOTEL
Glen is playing with JT and tells Barb he can't give him back. She turns off the baby monitor (that's the supervised visit?) asking if he's crazy and not planning to steal the kid again. He denies wanting to do that and feels the judge will rule in their favor. He's going to call Miss Reese in the morning and put a fire under her. Barb's now in favor of JT being with his dad and says soon there will be four of them. She can see how much JT means to him.

AT COP CENTRAL (yes, I'm a big J.D. Robb fan too ;-)
Bo and Abe both show up, admitting they both got kicked out. Bo wants to talk with Abe about how Lexie's in over her head on this. He asks Abe if he knows what Lexie is up to. Abe vents, then apologizes. Bo tells him how JT is spending the night with the Reibers. Abe feels for his friend as Bo goes on about he knows they're going to lose JT to the Reibers for good. He asks how long it'll be before Hope comes after Isaac after she loses JT.

DOT COM
Lexie and Celeste wheel Isaac in. Lexie tells her mother to find a table and she needs to get his diaper bag out of the car. She dashes to a dark alley and meets The Intruder reporter and gives him all the info on Bo and Hope Brady that they don't want anyone else to know (slap).

After Lexie rushes out of dotCom, Hope approaches the door. She sees a white gloved magical hand open the door for her (no, it's not Michael Jackson) and wonders what's going on with her. She walks in and sees Isaac, her son, with Celeste. She greets Celeste and welcomes her home. As Celeste tells her about her trip to the Himalayas, Hope looks at Isaac. Celeste asks if she's okay and Hope tells her she hasn't slept well lately and asks her to get her a cup of tea and she'll watch the baby. Celeste agrees and Hope picks Isaac up out of the stroller and hugs him as the credits roll,

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3, 2002

All Vegas today, as Sami's lies catch up with her, and she pays the price. Kudos to Allison Sweeney for her tour de force today as the scorned bride.

In the chapel, John, Marlena & Roman anxiously wait for Sami, wondering what is taking so long. John goes to see to the other guests, while Brandon keeps looking for Nicole, telling Jen that Nicole makes a lot of mistakes, and is about to make the biggest one. Nicole is gambling in the casino, while Lucas is still outside the Bride's room. Kate comes along, spewing venom about Sami, but Lucas tells her he is taking care of it all, and to trust him. She then finds Philip, who is happy she is there for Austin. John is calming the guests, and has a few special moments with Belle.

In the Bride's Room, a replay of Austin telling Sami NO, and her sinking to her knees and grabbing his arm. He tells her to get up, but she is crying and begging him not to leave her. He pulls her to her feet, & Sami says "I can't let you go now, not when I'm having your baby". As Austin stares in disbelief, Sami paints this romantic scenario of how she planned to tell him on their wedding night. Austin grabs her hand and says let's go. Sami happily says "to the chapel? I'm not quite ready"..and Austin says No, to the pharmacy. We're getting a pregnancy test and you are gonna take it right in front of me. Now! (LOL, .glad that light bulb is staying lit! Good for Austin, calling her bluff!) Sami's face tells the story to Austin, who thanks her for that particular lie, which has only served to strengthen his resolve.

Now Sami pulls the Will card out, going on about how much Austin loves him, how Will loves Austin, being a good father, etc. She makes quite a long speech, and when she is done, Austin tells her that all the lies thru the years have caught up. He tells her she is a lying, manipulating, backstabbing schemer, and tho he thought he'd never say this, she is a bit*h! He then says if she wants to blame someone for all this, just look in the mirror, and walks out the door.

At the lobby desk, Nicole has retrieved her safety deposit box, opens it and takes out her ring. (gee, right there in the lobby with no security around?) In the chapel there are little conversations going on all over the chapel. Lucas comes in, and Kate questions him about what is going on. John wants to know, too! Suddenly they hear a crash, and the boom box begins blasting out a rock song (sorry, don't know the name, but the lyrics go "how can I be so miserable, compromise my principles, , ) Sami is crying, and goes over to the mirror, remembering Austin's words. She throws a tantrum big time, clearing off the tables, smashing lamps and knocking furniture over. She throws something at a knob on the wall, which has the music blasting in her room. She really trashes the place.

In the chapel, Jennifer turns the boom box off, as Austin comes rushing in. Everyone is relieved to see him, Belle turns on the music (Here comes the Bride), softly playing, as Austin announces the wedding is off! Everyone looks stunned, except Nicole, who gives a small smile. In the trashed room, Sami is crying, and then finds her bouquet amidst the debris. She picks it up, saying, .this is SOOO not over, and rushes out.

In the chapel, Austin begins to tell everyone why the wedding is called off, when Sami comes running in, begging him not to say anything. Grampa Shawn comes in with Will, (guess they really did go to the little boy's room, lol) but Caroline tells him to take Will away, she will explain later. Roman gets defensive about Sami, (what else is new?) & Austin tells Sami to explain. Of course, being Sami, she puts on the performance of her life. LOL. She makes a long, apologetic speech, with tears running down her face, (mascara running, too) telling everyone how sorry she is for all the mean things she has said and done, even on this, her wedding day. That she has been unsympathetic, rude, etc. She talks about how she had to grow up without a mom, and every little girl needs her mom (oh, get out the violins), and how she always looked for someone to come along to protect her, strong, handsome, etc. and remembers when he finally came, on the day she first met Austin. Austin is just staring at her. He says "Wow, you just don't quit". Sami pleads with him to believe her, as she is being the most honest she has ever been. He tells her he believed Julia Roberts in Erin Brockovich (yay, for the mention of Days most fervent fan! Lol) and pulls her aside warning her about the truth. She has lied about Carrie, lied about Lucas hitting Will, and even being pregnant now. He turns to tell everyone exactly why there will be no wedding, but Sami's sobbing stops him.

Lucas leaves the room to go search the Bride's room for the tape recorder. He doesn't know how he will find anything among all the debris. He thinks he has found it under a turned over piece of furniture, but it turns out to be a cell phone. He is still searching, as the camera pans to the recorder just barely sticking out from under the sofa.

Roman threatens Austin, naturally, and Marlena says that Sami's parents have been thru a lot with her, and just tell them. Austin changes his mind, just saying the reasons are between Sami and him, and tho it is natural to want their curiosity satisfied, it will be up to Sami, As for him, he never wants to hear the name Sami Brady again. He leaves the chapel. Nicole looks as tho she is taking that rock of a ring OFF her finger as she turns to leave, too. Sami is crying hysterically, as both her parents come to her side. She drops down, tears falling, screaming Austin's name. Fade out, .And the credits roll.

THURSDAY, APRIL 4th, 2002***

SUMMARY: All Las Vegas today. Austin says goodbyes as others meander back to the casino. Lucas is anxious to find his tape recorder, but runs into problems. Congrats to both Austin Peck and Alison Sweeney on their great performances this week!

We find Greta (about time, wonder where she went) popping coins in the slots while Jack stands nearby clutching a briefcase and remembering his last conversation with Jen when she told him it may be time for him to move on.

A replay of Sami getting slam dunked at the alter with Austin leaving as much a gent as he's always been. Nicole follows him out to the lobby where he's waiting for an elevator. She goes to touch his shoulder as she calls his name, but he walks to an open elevator and gets in it without saying a word. We see Victor watching her. He sees the ring on her left hand and asks about it. She tells him she was trying it on but Victor zeros in on the truth about her having second thoughts now that Austin's available again. He tells her his offer is rescinded and their relationship is over and walks away. Later in his suite with a private bar and fountain, he tells himself that Nicole's playing games with him and not going to get away with it. He calls someone to do something for him.

In the chapel, Sami is crying hysterically as Marlena takes charge of her while Roman sees to everyone else. Caroline tells him that Shawn's with Will and Philip and John ran after Belle who dashed out of the chapel upset. Roman thinks Will needs both his grandparents right now and she rushes off agreeing. Brandon and Jen talk as Jen comments Sami doesn't have much luck at weddings. Sami sees Kate smirking as they walk her out and lashes out at her, swearing to get back at her for her part in this. Jen encourages Brandon to go after Sami as he might be able to help her. He admits it being his first impulse, but he's not going to be a consolation prize. He compares the situation to her and Colin, asking if she'd go after Colin if he was dumped at the alter?

Austin is quick, man! We find him all packed and in his t-shirt and jeans. He finds Kate at the door and asks if she came to gloat, but she calmly tells him all she's ever wanted was for him to be happy. He relaxes and asks her to tell Lucas he's going to make sure he sees Will more (remembering what he heard earlier) and tells his mom he needs to talk with Will. She wipes tears away and tells him to wait there and she'll go get him. He wonders how he's going to tell Will. Caroline brings Will and Austin crouches down to tell him about the wedding being cancelled. Will's quick and figures out they're not going to be a family. Austin explains he'll still be his uncle and his best buddy. He'll call and they'll talk all the time. He tells him how his mommy and daddy will be there for him and he has lots of people that love him and will be there for him. Caroline tells Austin if he ever needs anything, even chowder or a burger, and to take care of himself. They hug and she takes Will. Will tells Uncle Austin goodbye and tells him he loves him.

Meanwhile, Lucas who 2 weeks ago just came out of a one year coma, is still crawling around under the furniture in the brides room. Roman, Marlena and Sami return to the room and Roman asks him what he's doing. He tells them he was in there looking for Will (LOL) and Roman asks if he expected to find him under the couch (can't pull anything off on Roman, ha!) He asks Lucas why he trashed the room and he denies doing it as Sami launches into him about her and Austin are getting married and taking Will to Hawaii and he'll never see him again. Marlena stares at her and Lucas suggests they take her up to her room to rest, but Roman tells him to leave. Lucas continues his nice guy spiel and leaves, but knows Sami's going down. Sami damns Lucas and throws her bouquet on the floor (covering Lucas' recorder). She wants to go find Austin, but Roman gives her a reality check that it sounds like she's responsible for what happened today, not anyone else. Sami can't believe her parents took Austin's side when they try to explain to her that Austin is a fair man and there must have been a reason for what he did. Sami cries in Marlena's arms and Roman suggests Sami go upstairs and get some sleep and they'll talk in the morning. He trips on something and asks what it is. It's her cellphone. They decide to take her up to Roman's room, not the bridal suite, to get some sleep. Lucas overhears the door being opened and hides. The hotel manager arrives and Roman apologizes for the mess. He gives him a wad of bills and tells him to put anything more on his bill that wasn't covered. The manager agrees and leaves too. Lucas finds the door is now locked, but Kate joins him saying she'll help. He tells her about his part in the wedding being cancelled. He knows he had to play as dirty a game as Sami played and about the recorder. Kate's impressed, saying it's too late to nominate him for the Oscars, but he tells her how Austin overheard everything.

IN THE CASINO,
Colin's (now clean shaven and looking much better in my opinion) at the bar chugging a scotch and ordering another. Greta joins him at the craps table, asking where Elizabeth, his bride to be is and does what she does best, babble. Jack figures out why Jennifer was so upset about earlier. He tells her about Elizabeth leaving and she asks if he's single now. Jack's got his briefcase on the craps table and is told to get it off. A woman nearby overhears and hits on Colin as soon as Greta and Jack leave. Jack tells Greta that his resume and other important papers are in the briefcase and has to keep it with him. They head out and Jack bumps into a big tough guy. Jack mouthes off to the guy, but Greta smoothes things out and they walk away. Jack picks up his briefcase and they head for the elevator (the briefcases get switched there) as Jen avoids being seen by him. Greta sees the King sized bed in the room Oliver booked for them and wants her own room. Jack gives her a fake engagement ring and talks her into staying in that room. She knows she'll be safe. They talk about Colin and Greta figures out that Jack's attracted to Colin (oh palleez). Later, Jack's sleeping in his clothes on top of the covers listening to Greta talking in her sleep as she's dreaming of being in bed with Colin (who still has his hairy face in her dream, haha). She rolls over and snuggles with Jack who slips out of bed needing a distraction, and opens his briefcase. It's full of money. Cue shocked expression on Jack's face.

The goons open the briefcase in the casino and find Jack "Deverox's" resumes. If Jack's got their do-ra-me, he's going to be DOA.

Sami's sound asleep in bed and her parents leave to talk privately. Sami was only faking it and hops up (still in her gown and train, haha., you would think Marlena would have loaned her a nightie from her room at least).

Nicole goes to the bar and orders water. She remembers her talk with Brandon encouraging her to go after Austin if he's the man she wants. Brandon sees Nicole and asks Jen if he can go talk to her. Jen agrees, wanting to try the slots again anyway. She sees Colin kissy facing with someone at the craps table. Nicole heads up to bed. In the lobby, Nicole sees Austin leaving with his bags. He tells Nicole he's leaving Sami, but he's not leaving her, .as Nicole smiles a bit as the credits roll, ..

SUMMARY: Lots of high drama today, in both Vegas AND Salem as only 2 stories are highlighted. Sami has yet another shock, Austin (Peck AND Reed) bids farewell to Days of our Lives, In Salem, 2 mothers fight over one baby, AND if you have any doubts as to who Isaac's father is, there is a HUGE clue in the closing scene!

A Cherry on the Cake of her Day!
Poor Sami (NOT!), just when you think it couldn't get worse, it does! She heads to the bridal suite, crying as she surveys the room. Her gown is lain out on the bed and she uses it as a Kleenex (LOL). She notices that Austin's clothes are gone (as is he) and begins crying for him. The rest of her scenes are of her having daydreams of what COULD HAVE been for them on their honeymoon, and then flashbacks of him dumping her. She does LOTS of that (what I call) "hitching-crying" and it gets a bit annoying. But I don't want to throw any stones at Alison's performance this week, she's been great. Anyway, she begins to blame Kate and Lucas, saying that she can't let them win. She vows to make EVERYONE who ruined her wedding pay. After some more flashbacks of the argument, she rips the train off her dress and sinks to the floor in a sobbing mass. Next time we see her, she is now in her slip, and holding the dress and has yet more flashbacks of Austin chewing her out. She can't believe it's really over.

Down in the lobby, there is a replay of Austin telling Nicole he's not leaving her. She (with a look of hope on her face) asks for clarification. He tells her that they can have it all and explains that when one door closes, another opens. He excitedly tells her about calling Carl Liszt and accepting his offer to work for him. He assures her that he will see that she gets the PermaLash account and talks about them having it all. But this isn't the kind of outcome Nicole was hoping for and tells him so. Austin says he is moving to New York and needs some time alone. She asks him to stay in Salem, not sure she can continue without him. But Austin assures her that all will be fine. Not sure that he understands, she confesses her true feelings for him and how he has influenced and affected her life. She isn't sure she can ever find that again, ever. They sit as he tells her that the timing isn't right, although as soon as he gets on that plane, he may be kicking himself. He tells her how much he loves her voice on the phone and promises to be in constant contact with her. She tells him that it won't be the same and that she will feel empty inside without him around to share in their victory. He decides it's time to go and assures her that she will make it on her own. She realizes she must let go and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Austin pauses at the door and drops his luggage and returns, grabs her and kisses her long and hard. He turns and leaves. Sami (who is now dressed) is watching and snarling from the background as Nicole watches Austin from the door, crying her heart out. Adios, Austin, (Peck and Reed), and best of luck!

Back in Salem, The Drama Continues
At the cop shop, there is a replay of Abe and Bo's talk. They begin arguing over Lexie, then Abe apologizes (poor guy is in SUCH denial). Bo tells him about the Reibers taking JT and Abe asks how long before Hope goes after Isaac. Bo tells him he believes it is already happening. Abe is disappointed, but doesn't blame Hope, even though he and Lexie love Isaac dearly. He worries about what will happen with Lexie, if she loses him. Bo tries to explain how Hope feels now that she knows Isaac is hers. They discuss who is to blame and Bo is sure that it is Stefano. If so, he knows that Lexie holds the key. Even though they have no evidence, Abe is sure that Lexie would never testify against her father. Bo asks if Lexie could have been in on it from the beginning. He asks Abe if he finds out that Lexie knew all along, could he stand by her and/or forgive her? Abe doesn't answer him. Both of them hate the situation as Abe says that he fears that the dam has broken and that they won't be able to stop the oncoming flood.

Over at dotCom, Hope is holding Isaac coming in. As she talks to Celeste, she sees them and panics. She first, jumps a bewildered Celeste, then barges across the room, pushing some girl out of her way. Hope is hugging Isaac, calling him her son (LOL, at how he keeps talking about "balls" and she ad libs along). Lexie storms up, demanding her son. Hope refuses, saying he is her son. She says that God gave him to her and only God can take him away. Celeste tries to play referee and Hope refuses to hand him over. Hope asks Lexie if SHE wants to tell her or do I? Some of the dotCom employees call the police as things are looking as if they are getting out of control. As Hope holds Isaac, he calls her "mama", which almost kills Lexie. Lexie tries to take him, but her mother stops her with Hope tightening her grip. The cops show up and demand to know what is going on. Hope blurts out that Lexie stole her baby. The cops recognize the ladies and call the police station. Hope tells the cops that Lexie has been lying and it is time to tell the truth. She shouts out "This is MY baby!" As a crowd has gathered, Bo and Abe rush in and Lexie babbles that Hope is kidnapping her son. Hope continues to hold onto Isaac, saying he is hers and just wants to take him home. Lexie sobs, wanting Abe to do something. Hope says that she can't let go and Bo tries to reason with her, saying that they have to follow the proper procedures. Hope says that he is her flesh and blood, Lexie stole him and she will die before she lets him go again. Celeste asks Abe if it is true and he tells her yes, briefly explaining about the baby switch. Abe says that he may be postponing the inevitable, but for now LEGALLY the baby is his and Lexie's. Bo is finally able to gently get Isaac from a distraught Hope, who is crying, "my baby, my baby". With Lexie reaching for him, Bo looks into Isaac's eyes and has one of those white flashs (much like the ones Hope has been having), and the credits roll. Any questions??? ;-)
