SUMMARY:
Oh, lucky me (NOT)..both the 3's Company and abortion storyline today. Only good part is Jen finally finds out the secret! Hang in there though as the Bo and Hope scenes are excellent. These two shine tomorrow as they talk about their sons while trying not to worry about losing JT.

JACK, OLIVER AND HAROLD
The Brady pub is busy tonight. Jack walks in the pub as we see Harold approach outside. Jack, all dressed in a nice suit with a light blue tie, meets with Oliver Wentworth (he must have hopped a concorde from Las Vegas when Jack called him from the skating rink as it’s only a couple hours later). Oliver mentions how Jack gets bored easily and not sure if he’s interested in including him in his business dealing. He knows about Jack and Jen’s off and on relationship, but Jack assures him he’s in a new relationship with a beautiful princess, but doesn’t want others drooling over her. Oliver doesn’t want a single man working for him and asks when the wedding will be. Jack assures him Greta even knows secrets that no one else does, he hopes. Oliver demands Jack be married to work for him..whether it be Greta or Jennifer. Harold spots Jack inside the pub with another man and wonders if he dares go say hello. Oliver tells Jack he needs someone mature and committed to the job (and in a relationship). Oliver leaves to make a phone call as Harold walks in and sits down with Jack. They talk about the massage and Harold tells Jack he’s in denial. Jack starts to tell him he’s not a homo&..as he collects himself before anyone overhears and says &sapien. Harold is confused and realizes he was wrong about Jack and not interested in him anymore and walks off.

AT DOTCOM
Greta and Jen arrive at dotCom after walking and talking for 90 minutes (where’s Abby?) Jen pushes Greta’s honest button about how Jack shouldn’t have put a good person like her in a position of keeping a secret she knows is wrong to keep. The two sit down with a couple mochas as Jen continues trying to guess the secret. Greta suggests like the story of Rapunzel. They both realize they sound like Jack in their nonsensical discussion. Jen reminds Greta how she started telling her something and called Jack a “ho”. (Greta doesn’t remember that cuz she was tanked on Tequila). More bantering with Jen trying to pry the secret out of Greta. Greta mentions how Oliver wouldn’t like it if he knew the truth about Jack as Jen freaks and is confused. The light dawns as Greta mentions that Jack must remain single. Jen cracks up and can’t believe that Jack told Greta that he’s gay. Greta feels Jen can’t accept the shocking news, but Jen laughingly assures her that Jack Deveraux is definitely NOT gay and lied to her.

THE NIGHT BEFORE
Hope is sewing JT’s name and address labels on every piece of his clothing. Bo joins her and comments JT is at that wandering age (have we even seen him crawl, much less walk?). They wonder where Shawn is and how much they appreciate his being such a good kid. Looking at Bo, she comments about where Shawn gets his “rescue mentality”. They talk his risk taking to get Gran’s ruby and Belle’s anxiousness to have sex. Bo mentions that ShawnD will be 18 in a couple of months (love that RAS!). Hope asks if Bo mentions how they celebrated HER 18th birthday and remember Doug walking in on them while celebrating. She didn’t think she could love Bo Brady any more then she did at that moment, but was wrong..she loves him even more now and even more so each day. Bo tells her how much he loves JT and their love is a part of JT and JT’s love a part of them. Bo mentions how his priorities got straight with this development and her lies about her and John aren’t important right now. Bo’s ashamed of ever thinking he didn’t want JT. Subject changes to ShawnD and they wonder who this mystery girl is that they don’t know about and why is she asking their son to keep secrets from them. The two solemnly hug on the couch, worried about losing their son. He brings some chocolate mint ice cream for them to have. He gets one bite, but it gets set down as they hug and talk about how she turned JT’s life around. Bo feels there was a reason that JT was put there with them and needs to stay with them. Bo assures her that they will raise both their sons.

IN CHICAGO
Jan and Shawn are in Chicago and they approach the clinic. She didn’t realize it was so close and could have come alone. He didn’t want her to drive afterwards. She thanks him for coming, but unless he came to support her in her decision, she doesn’t want him there (hey Shawn, judging by our current quizlet, most of our readers feel you should just leave her there, ha). He tells her he doesn’t feel like he doesn’t feel like he’s doing the right thing by her, but won’t leave her (damn!). He suggests giving the baby up for adoption again and asks her to think it through before it’s too late to. They go inside and a doctor stayed to see her. She gets all the preliminary info and asks if she has to have an ultrasound. She’s told yes. She realizes it would have been a lot simpler to have had the abortion sooner and asks herself why didn’t she. Shawn tells her it’s because she wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to do. Jan tells him everyone would know she was raped if she had the baby and she doesn’t want them to know she’s not tough. She’s taken back into the clinic (for the ultrasound apparently) and when asked if she wants her boyfriend to join them, Jan tells her no. Jan has the ultrasound and they have her return to the lobby to wait for the doctor. Jan is crying and Shawn tells her she’s not alone. Jan wishes she were lucky to at least be having her boyfriend’s baby. She tells him her parents don’t want her to interfere with their world. Shawn tells her she’s not alone, her baby is part of her. She doesn’t have to tell the world how it happen unless she wants to. He tells her that he’ll say he was the father, anything it takes, just don’t get rid of her baby as the credits roll&

SUMMARY:
Another slow show...hard to believe this is the middle of sweeps period (had a feeling of deja vu as this show seems to almost be a repeat of yesterday)...as Jen & Greta continue their talk at dot.com, Chloe does more bonding w/Nancy, Shawn makes an offer to Jan, and Lucas seems to be waking up. (yawwwnnn, zzzzzzz)

THE LIGHT BULB GOES ON.... At dot.COM, Jen finally realizes that Greta thinks Jack is gay. As hard as she tries to convince her otherwise, Greta refuses to believe Jack is straight, & claims she understands why Jack was afraid to tell Jen, cause she wouldn't accept it. She babbles about the books, magazines she has read, and tells Jen about the blind date she arranged. Greta STILL doesn't believe Jen and Jen her to wake up and smell the coffee. Jen tells her she's almost sure if she (Jen) would let Jack sleep with her, he would. Sorry, Greta's sure that Jack's gay. Jen thinks that is pretty funny, but finally pretends to accept what Greta is saying....telling her that she understands and wants Greta's help in insuring Jack gets the chance to live the life he "so richly deserves" (Uh, oh, Jack, LOL....watch out now!)

Meanwhile, at the Deveraux house, Jack is reading a newpaper article about the internet and shopping (!) to Abigail, who is clearly bored. She knows he really wonders how come Jen and Greta are not home yet, and says she is glad Mommy has a friend, cause she needs one. But she knows Daddy is not happy Greta is living w/them. Then she asks when Mommy & Daddy are gonna get married. Jack says he has been working on it, but perhaps she could help. Abby agrees, since she is such a great hint giver. She tells her daddy she is as shrewd and calculating as he is, which gives him pause. She leaves the room, and Jack does a monologue aloud about Jen finding out what he told Greta...Greta finding out he lied, etc.

CHLOE IS AGAIN ON THE BED at the Wesley home, as Nancy comes in and we have a replay of her yelling for Craig after spotting Chloe's bloody nose, him bounding up the stairs. Chloe comes to, insisting she is alright, and for them to leave her alone. (Only bloody nose I ever saw where the one drop just sits there at end of nostril....sure not like any I ever had....Jack & Jen's were more realistic when they bumped into that door....but thank goodness we don't have tissues stuck up Chloe's nose) Craig checks her over, but her BP is fine, and no temp. Nancy wants her to have a physical the next day, but Chloe refuses being she had one before school started. Nancy asks her why she was with Philip....so Craig leaves, and Chloe tells her how Philip took her to the tree where he carved their initials, and then kissed her. When Nancy asks her how that made her feel, Chloe says trapped again in this jealous and possessive thing. Nancy says Chloe already told her this...but Chloe doesn't remember. Nancy is clearly worried, but again advises her not to see either of the guys, Philip or Brady. She tells Chloe she needs a nice young man like Shawn Brady, but Chloe tells her no way as he is just one of her good friends and in love with her best friend. They talk a bit about Chloe's adoptive parents, and Chloe repeats her mantra about Nancy giving her away. Nancy leaves, meeting Craig in the hall, telling him she is so optimistic about her relationship with Chloe. In her room, as she brushes her hair, musing about no longer seeing either Philip or Brady, she again feels faint, and wonders what is wrong with her.

AT THE CLINIC.....Replay of Shawn offering to claim to be the daddy of Jan's baby, if she will just keep it and give it up for adoption, saying he would do anything if she would change her mind. Jan asks if he would marry her (Egads....nooooo) and Shawn says yes. Jan asks about Belle, and Shawn says yes he loves Belle, she loves him, they plan to marry and have a family as they have talked about it. But that will happen if it is intended to be. Meanwhile he would marry Jan, if that would make her change her mind. Jan says she cannot let him ruin his whole life for her, and Shawn once more makes an earnest plea for her to just give the baby up for adoption. The nurse comes, and Jan leaves with her, telling Shawn she has to do this.

IN SAN DIEGO......Replay of Lucas murmuring Will's name, as Kate, Will, & Austin look on excitedly. Only Sami looks stricken. The doctor comes in, as Austin takes Will and Sami out in the hall. He asks Nurse Jane to take Will for ice cream and she agrees being she's on a break. When they leave, he tells Sami how happy he is about Lucas's recovery and thanks her for allowing Will to come. Of course, our Sami has a fit...telling Austin his mother was right. He is too "pure of heart" (cannot believe they dragged this phrase from that dumb Garden story), that he cannot see how he always chooses his mother over her and she wants to be first. They really start to argue, she says she wants to move far away from his mother cause she won't play 2nd fiddle to Kate. Austin tells her that he is marrying Sami, loves Will, but that his mother is Will's grandmother, and his brother is Will's father. Sami is in rare form as they argue, then Kate comes out. She tells Austin how Will has helped Lucas tremendously, and wants him to stay longer. Austin reminds Kate it is up to Sami, but Kate says Sami doesn't care a fig about Lucas's recovery. Sami's shooting daggers at Kate, as she tells her no way.....Will is returning to Salem. And the credits roll.

SUMMARY:
Valentines evening (which started 10 days ago when they went to court) in Salem as the teens rant and rave at dotCom, John enlists Marlena’s help, and Jan makes a decision. Bo and Philip score points for remembering their sweethearts!

TEEN SCENE
We join Brady pumping barbells in his room before he calls Chloe. She’s happy to hear from him. She wanted to talk with him about what happened earlier with Philip. She tells him easily about how she collapsed at the river with Philip and about the nose bleed. She tells him she’s bored and he teases about a special on the weather channel he wants to watch, but tells her he’ll be over in a little bit and she tells him to just pull up in front of the house as he’s not on Nancy’s list right now. He agrees and after hanging up, is excited about going to see her. Later she’s all dressed and has pillowed up her bed to look like she’s sleeping should Nancy come to check on her. She reads a message in a Valentines card Philip sent over. He hopes she’s feeling better and how he meant that he loved her and wants another chance for them. She remembers the initials on the tree, and admits still caring for him, but tells herself there’s less pressure hanging out with a friend, Brady.

Philip asked Belle to meet him at dotCom to talk about Chloe. He tells her about Chloe’s collapse and bloody nose. He goes to call her, but Belle stops him. She takes her jacket off and Philip raves about her new blouse (low cut, but feminine) assuring her that Shawn will love it too. She thanks him, wasn’t sure if she should even keep it. She flashes the price tag still on it, but doesn’t know if Shawn will even see it as they didn’t have plans and she doesn’t know where he is. She tells him how she was testing Shawn to see if he would call (being she initiates 80% of their phone calls), but he flunked as he hasn’t called her. Philip tells her forget the test thing and just call Shawn if she wants to talk with him.

Chloe and Brady are in his car and do rock/scissors/paper to decide what they’re going to do. Duh, big surprise..dotCom. She’s in a competitive mood and wants to play video games.

Cynthia tells Mimi they need to talk about Philip and if Chloe will take him back. Cynthia says Philip is cute and rich, but can be a real jerk at times. Mimi tells her to watch what she says about her friend. Cynthia tells Mimi about what happened that night at her place. She plays the innocent victim and tells Mimi that Philip had her do a strip tease and how he “used” her. Now he has to pay. Mimi tells Cynthia she’s lying, but Cynthia tells Mimi that her parents have ultra security cameras and she has it on tape&and considering showing it to others. When Mimi doesn’t go for the idea, Cynthia starts trashing Mimi and says Belle considers her a charity case. Mimi comes back with threats to expose Cynthia’s plans to Chloe, Belle and Philip and walks away. Atta girl Mimi. Cynthia leaves dotCom, but not going to give up her revenge plot.

CUDDLING BY THE FIRE&
Bo and Hope talk about Glen’s visit the next day and Bo’s proud of how well Hope is handling the situation. Bo gets up for another log on the fire and comes back with a valentines gift for her instead (oh, good news..holidays are being acknowledged again!). He figures there should be a valentines day sung and starts making up one ;-). She stops him when she pulls out the gift..a silver heart locket with a picture of JT inside. He tells her that way JT will always be with her and in her heart. Awww. She loves it and starts worrying about Shawn and if he’s okay. Belle calls and Hope answers the phone. Belle tells Hope about she saw Shawn earlier at dotCom with Jan when Hope asks and has Bo get on the extension. Hope tells Belle how Shawn left to help a friend in trouble and wonder if Jan was the girl he was referring to. They thank her for calling and ask her to call them if she sees Shawn.

Belle decides to call Jan’s house to see if she’s there, but Philip agrees to do it for her. He apologizes to Jan’s mother for interrupting their cocktail party and hangs up saying Jan’s mother needs a serious lesson in phone etiquette. Belle apologizes for going on about Shawn when he called her over to talk about Chloe. Guess who walks in&yup. (well duh you guys, that’s where everyone always is in Salem!) They start playing at a table across from Philip and Belle and Chloe can’t help staring at Philip being he looks so upset. Brady wants to switch places, but she gets back to playing the game for about 10 seconds and looks up again. Philip is having a cow being she told him she was going to bed and now looks all refreshed and having fun. This irritates him being it’s valentines day. Belle assures him this day is obviously not important for many people (referring to Shawn). She assures him that Chloe and Brady are just friends as he rants on. She stops him from going over, saying it would just make things worse.

BACK AT THE CLINIC&
A replay of Shawn asking Jan to reconsider the abortion and her going in the back with the nurse. She comes back out saying she couldn’t go through with it. She thought about everything he said and the ultrasound. He tells her he’s proud of her and will help her anyway he can to get her through this. She asks if he will still tell everyone he’s the baby’s father. He confirms that and said he can handle it. She hugs him and thanks him for being the best friend anyone’s ever had. He tells her she won’t regret it. She feels stronger now that she’s not in this alone. Shawn pauses by the door after she walks out, then walks out.

BACK AT DESSERT CENTRAL&
Bo walks out eating a piece of pie (must be dessert night at the Brady’s, ha!). Hope calls Shawn on his cell (why didn’t Belle?). He and Jan are driving home and he assures her he’s okay and will be home soon. She apologizes for checking up on him, but was worried. He reminds her that she doesn’t want him talking on the phone and driving and will see her soon. Shawn tells Jan how shocked his parents will be disappointed, but will get over it. She isn’t sure if she should give the baby up for adoption, but Shawn tells her she has time to think about it and calls her officially a mom. She calls him officially a dad, right? He pauses, but reluctantly agrees. He tells her about JT and how important he is to him. Jan tells him she’ll be there and will do anything she can to help him. Bo and Hope head up to bed now that she knows Shawn will be home soon.

WHO’S THE DADDY, PART XIIV, WHO'S THE MOMMY, PART I
Marlena turns out the lights downstairs and heads up to bed when John walks in . She asks him what’s wrong as he’s so quiet and he tells her to sit down as he’s got some news for her. He tells her about getting Isaac’s dna and had the test run that night. He is not Isaac’s father. (wow..these dna tests are taking less and less time to run, aren’t they?) Marlena asks if this means that he didn’t sleep with Hope/Gina and he says no, he remembers they did, but doesn’t know if he resulted in her getting pregnant. He tells her that there were four babies born that night at the hospital when Isaac and JT were born and he needs her help. They need to get Hope’s dna to see if Isaac is Hope’s son. If he is, then John figures Stefano is Isaac’s father and it would make sense if Stefano wanted Lexie to raise his son. Marlena agrees. They don’t want to burden Hope and Bo with this latest dilemma and he tells Marlena she’s his secret agent (get out the Electra Woman outfit ;-) to get Hope’s dna sample. John feels it’s time that everyone knew the truth as the credits roll&(hey guys, aren’t you worried your daughter is still out and it’s a school night?)

SUMMARY:
The showdown continues at the clinic in San Diego, Bo and Shawn have a father-son talk, Jack worries what Janet and Chrissy (er, Jen and Greta) are talking about and the teens are still at dotCom as the rest of Salem heads to bed.

The Showdown&continued
Kate and Austin talk about Lucas's condition as Sami stands on the sidelines and stews in her juices. Sami and Kate get into it as Austin tries to break them up. She turns and yells at Austin to "SHUT UP!" Then Austin and Sami get into a shouting match (much to Kate's delight) as she steps in and tries to calm an angry Austin down, trying to convince him not to marry Sami. (She tells him to get that ring off her finger before it's too late). Sami starts again and Austin yells for both of them to knock it off. He comes down especially hard on Kate, calling her manipulative, saying she is doing all the right things&but for the wrong reasons. Sami finally agrees to spend one more night, but they will leave tomorrow. She asks Austin to go and get Will, but he is afraid to leave them alone (well justified fears, Austin!) but they both promise to behave. He leaves (bad idea) and he is no more out of ear-shot, until they are at it again. Sami tells Kate she wishes she would die and has the line of the day, saying "she and Lucas can just lie down together and be their own little vegetable garden". Will rushes up, asking Sami why she is yelling at Grandma. Sami assures him that they are not fighting. Kate pulls Austin aside again, working on him about dumping Sami.

Janet & Chrissy Scheme against Jack
OOPS&wrong show! Jack is at home, waiting, worrying about Jen and Greta. He is sure that Jen knows everything by now. Outside, Greta is beating herself up over spilling the beans, but Jen promises not to tell. Jen has a plan to pay him back. Jen asks Greta if Jack were straight, would she make a move on him. After stumbling all over this question, Greta finally admits that she would. Back inside, Jack is arguing with himself over the situation and daydreams of Jen and Greta tying him up and torturing him. He tries to calm himself down with yoga, but the daydream continues where they take off his shoes and tickle his feed (SHEESH!) He snaps out of it to find them staring at him. He demands to know where they have been, but Jen goads him on. He wants to know what she is up to as Jen tells him that with Greta living there, she will learn a LOT about Jack. He is sure that Jen is up to something and plotting against him. She confirms this and tells him he should sleep with one eye open. Jack has had enough and heads to bed (or pretends to) as Jen and Greta talk. Greta feels really bad for betraying Jack as Jen assures her it will be okay. (Well, it looks as if this story may come to a screeching halt and be wrapped up soon!&For those of you who haven't heard, the soap mags are reporting that Juliane Morris (Greta) has been released from her contract.)

Over at dotCom&
Belle has to hold Philip back as he fumes over seeing Brady and Chloe together. Chloe is very uncomfortable and Brady suggests they leave. Belle urges Philip to play it cool as Brady and Chloe come over to join them. Philip is calm (as both Brady and Chloe are shocked by his behavior). Philip excuses himself as he wants to talk to Chloe privately. Brady tells Belle he can't believe how civil Philip is and she says he doesn't understand, because he has never been in love. Brady is hurt by this as she chatters on about he and Chloe just being friends. He gets upset and she realizes that he DOES actually have feelings for Chloe. Brady tries in vain to convince Belle that he doesn't want Chloe, but she double talks him into a corner, trying to get him to admit it. Mimi joins them and openly flirts with Brady. She asks about Shawn and Belle tells her that he is up to something with Jan, causing Mimi to blow her top. She slams Jan as Brady promises that if Shawn hurts Belle, he will have to answer to him. Mimi has some hot gossip, which gives Brady a reason to excuse himself. She tells her about her chat with Cynthia, the video tape and her plans to show it to Chloe. Belle feels sorry for Philip as she watches Phil and Chloe from across the room.

Meanwhile, Philip and Chloe chat and she asks him why he isn't mad at her&as usual. He explains that he lost her as his girlfriend and just doesn't want to lose her as a friend as well (as he takes Belle's advice and plays it really cool). Chloe is shocked by his behavior and they talk about he has changed. He apologizes for hurting her and losing his temper all those times, weakening Chloe's defenses. He promises to do anything possible to win her back. She talks about how he is still special to her and all the good times (sounds like the big brush-off to me). He takes her hand and they hug&as Brady watches from afar&eyes turning green with jealousy.

Over at the Brady House&
Shawn returns home with a heavy sigh outside the door. He comes in and picks up one of JT's toys and plops down on the sofa. He has flashbacks of promising Jan he will claim to be the father. He fingers Belle's ring around his neck as Bo walks up and asks if he is okay. Shawn tries to go off to bed, but Bo wants to talk about what may happen tomorrow. (He explains that JT and Hope both finally fell asleep, but he couldn't). There are some more good scenes between these two as Bo feels that he is letting everyone down and feels helpless in their situation. Shawn explains that he doesn't blame and again apologizes for things he said earlier. They promise to fight for JT as Bo reminds him that they have love on their side. He tries to prepare Shawn for the possibility of losing JT, while hoping that Glen will change his mind. Bo questions him as to where he was tonight (as Shawn has more flashbacks of Jan). Shawn tells Bo he needs to tell him something and starts talking about doing the right thing. Bo brings up Jan's name and explains that Belle had called earlier. Shawn tries to explain, but Bo doesn't like the sound of it. Shawn tells him the truth&that Jan is pregnant and how he talked her out of the abortion. Bo admires him but cautions him not to get too involved and not to make Jan's problems, HIS problems (Oh, Bo&if you only knew). He tells Shawn that she needs her parents help, but Shawn explains that they don't care and that he is all she has. Finally, Bo realizes that it is getting really late and that they need to get some sleep and promises to talk more later. Bo heads off to bed as Shawn sits alone on the sofa and sighs heavily. He says "How am I going to do this&How can I tell them?"&and the credits roll.
