Episode #9455
Tape Date: 11./14/02
Director: Randy Robbins
Brady tries to reach out to Chloe Marlena and a shaken John share
an evening of passion as the Bradys share an evening at the pub.
Brady, Chloe & Isabella
Brady keeps trying to call Chloe (she isn't answering though) and
he decides he needs to go over there. But Isabella appears and
stops him from going. Chloe tries to study but asks what's the
use, since she is dying. Brady explains to his mom how and why
Chloe feels so guilty over Nancy's condition and she says that he
tries to help, he could end up driving her further away. Chloe
sits alone and feels sorry for herself as Brady gets upset with
his mom for just appearing anytime she wants. But she explains
that she appears when he needs help. He asks what does Chloe want
from him and she says that he should trust Chloe and let her come
to him when she is ready to face what she is going through. If he
pulls her closer, he could drive her away like Philip did. Brady
realizes that she is right. He calls Chloe and leaves her a
message (as Chloe listens) that he is going to give her time and
asks her to just maybe give him a call if she needs anything and
that he loves her (as Isabella smiles). Later, he does the exact
opposite (whatsupwithat?) and goes over to the Wesley house with
a pint of peanut butter fudge ripple ice cream. But Chloe isn't
in the mood for visitors and wants to be alone. He says that he
will be here, waiting on her because he loves her. She goes
inside as he waits on the front porch.
At The Penthouse
a messenger brings an overnight envelope for John from Shane.
John says that if Tony is actually his brother, all his years in
Salem have been a lie. Marlena tries to reason with him, saying
that regardless of the test results, he is still the same man her
husband and Brady and Belle's father and they will see him no
differently. John is sure that the results are wrong, because he
knows that he is an Alamain. Shane had also told him that they
are chasing down Lawrence to do more DNA tests on him as well.
Marlena are sure that THESE tests are the accurate ones and that
he IS Tony's brother. She opens the envelope and reads the
results there is an 80% chance that he and Tony share a parent.
John it encouraged and thinks that also means that there is a 20%
chance they are not brothers. Marlena tries to reason with him,
telling him that even though they may share a parent, it's not
necessarily Stefano. John remembers that Stefano had the chance
to kill him before and didn't. Maybe he KNEW that John was his
son. He says if it is true, he must protect his family from the
DiMera curse. An angry John snatches the papers from her hands
and slings them to the floor as Marlena tells him that no test
will change the fact that she loves him and always will as does
his children. She begins to kiss him and he reciprocates and
scoops her up and carries her up the staircase. We see them in
bed going at it hot and heavy with John saying "I need you".
Marlena says "you have me always" and John repeats
"always" as the camera fades to black. When we rejoin
them, Marlena is sleeping and John gets up and goes to the mirror
and studies the Phoenix tattoo. But, Marlena is not asleep and
watches him.
Over At The Brady Pub
the place is decorated for Christmas. Lucas and Jen are there
with Will and Abby (Lucas needs to wash that dirt off his chin,
LOL) as Lucas tells Jen that he saw Jack with Billie earlier.
Outside, Jack and Billie arrive (he wants to see Abby) but she
refuses to go in with him, fearing that Bo and Hope will be there.
After he goes in, Bo and Hope and Zack come around the corner.
Inside, Jack, Jen and Lucas make small talk as Lucas mentions
seeing him with "his sister" earlier at the tree
lighting. (Funny that the two women in Jack's life are BOTH
Lucas' sisters). Jack wants to visit with Abby as Lucas and Jen
discuss her feelings for Jack. She tries to act like it doesn't
bother her that Jack is seeing Billie, but Lucas can see it does.
Things are heating up outside as Billie, Bo and Hope get into it.
Roman walks up and informs them that the commissioner has gotten
involved in the investigation and is pushing for Billie to be
indicted for "conspiracy and accessory to kidnapping"
and that she could end up serving time. Bo sends Zack inside with
Roman as Billie says she doesn't want to talk to them and that
she is going to go. Hope says she is "going to Hell"
for what she did to her. Bo and Hope gang up on her as she begins
her routine about not wanting to hurt Hope. Hope says she is a
liar. Bo tells Billie that he does NOT want her around his wife
and to stay out of their lives for good. With that, the go in the
pub. Back inside, lots of little conversations going on, as Will
and Abby argue while decorating the tree and Jack playing referee.
Bo, Hope and Roman catch up with Caroline. Lucas and Jen watch
the kids and talk about how great it is that they have kids the
same age and how glad they are to have each other in their lives
again. They also talk about their respective love lives (or the
lack thereof) as Jen keeps one eye on Jack. Lucas talks about how
hard Billie is having it right now and hopes she doesn't start
drinking again or turn back to drugs. Jack spots Zack and it
dawns on him that Bo and Hope are near, and fears what would
happen if they ran into Billie. He rushes outside, but she is no
where to be found. She calls him on his cell and tells him that
she went on home and is getting into bed. He offers to go by and
see her, but she declines. But as she hangs up the phone, we see
that she is actually outside the Cheatin' Heart and goes inside.
Jack goes back inside and tells Lucas and Jen that Billie went
home, but Lucas thinks otherwise. He rushes off, asking Hope to
keep an eye on Will until Sami gets there. Vern shows up to pick
up Abby and he and Jack get into an argument over Jack's behavior.
He says that he is tired of Jack's whining. Jen and Hope talk
about Hope's feelings over Billie and Jen can see that she is
still haunted by all that happened. Bo and Roman talk about the
fact that Larry's body was never found and Bo fears that there
will be no peace for Hope until they are sure he is dead. Bo also
mentions Colin's visit and the Irish whisky. Bo thinks he is up
to something and Roman is suspicious of him as well. Jack and Jen
decide to call a truce for the holidays (for Abby's sake) but
then 2 seconds later, they are arguing over Colin, Billie and
about his being left out of the whole ruse to save Hope. (Will
this bickering EVER end?) Bo tries to cheer up a down and out
Hope as everyone goes upstairs and join popShawn for the tree
trimming. Billie orders a vodka on the rocks as she sits alone
and feels sorry for herself. (Some guys give her the eye but she
makes a face at them). Lucas walks in and sees her lifting her
drink to her mouth, but she sits it back down and doesn't take a
drink. He joins her, telling her that he is proud of her. He
knows how she feels and wants to help her. They decide to go to a
meeting (I'm assuming AA) and leave together. As he goes to get
the car, she stands alone and says she knows exactly what she
wants and NOBODY is going to stop her this time. At the same
time, Hope is telling Bo that she won't relax until Billie is out
of their lives for good. Split screen on Billie and Hope as it
fades to black.

Episode #: 9456
Directed by: Roger Inman
Tape Date: 11/15/02
Brenda's the only one with the ho ho ho spirit as other staff
members are wrapped up in own their lives, the Brady Pub is the
hangout du jour, Nancy takes measures to protect the baby and
Larry Welch proves everybody doesn't love Raymond.
Hospital
Brenda hangs Christmas cards on the walls as Sami wearily walks
to her desk carrying some flowers. She is tired after helping
decorate the pub late the night before. Brenda dispatches her to
deliver something and Brandon suggests a coffee break together
later. She accepts and leaves happily as Brandon spots Lexie and
Abe arriving for her ultrasound.
Colin gets paged by ER and asks Brenda if any docs are around
that can cover for him as he has a meeting. She informs him due
to the holiday's, they're short staffed. Unable to meet with
Raymond Grant, he heads for the ER. Brenda offers to call
whomever he was going to meet with, but he tells her they'll wait
and can't start without him.
After talking to Chloe (see below) Craig returns to Nancy's room
to find Mickey there. Surprised, Craig learns Nancy is having
Mickey draw up a living will that no one is to take her baby.
Craig is furious and opposes it (not helping Nancy's BP Craig!).
As they argue about it, her bp rises and she starts breathing
hard. Mickey runs to the nurse for help and she rushes in as
Nancy tells Craig they must do everything to protect their
children. She asks Craig to agree.
Dr. Bader does Lexie's ultrasound and both Lexie and Abe are
grinning with wide smils as they look at their baby. Dr. Bader
informs them that their baby is doing well and is a boy. Lexie
and Abe are delighted they'll have a boy, just like Isaac. Abe
asks to stay for the CBS test (not the NBC test?) and Lexie
happily agrees. Sami joins Brandon for their coffee break and
finds him in an irritable mood. He tells her about Lexie's
pregnancy and vents Abe shouldn't be anybody's father. Knowing
the truth, she studies Brandon's reactions. Sami assures Brandon
that Abe loves Lexie and they wanted a baby. Maybe it's a sign of
God they belong together. Brenda dispatches Sami again and Abe
joins Brandon.
Raymond Grant's Office
Larry Welch slithers in the locked offices wearing a long blonde
wig and facial hair, proud even his mother wouldn't recognize him
much less the "Brady Bunch". He leaves an envelope (with
DiMera crest) on Grant's desk. Grant arrives and finds the note
Larry planted. Larry walks up, pretending to be a not too smart
DiMera delivery person. He reminds Grant that Colin Murphy needs
to complete his mission. Knowing DiMera's don't trust secret
stuff with people like the delivery person, Grant turns his back
to call security (so much for HIS smarts!) and Larry whips out a
huge gun with silencer telling him not to. He confirms he USE to
work for Stefano, but his last assignment was delivering items
Stefano bequeathed. Grant guesses the bullet wasn't really part
of the package from Stefano and Larry confirms it. He admits
being the one to order the hit on Victor and sorry the blonde got
it instead. Telling Grant he's making sure that Victor, Bo and
Hope pay for sending him away to prison for 10 years and how Hope
should have married him. Grant, super genius, figures out that
he's Larry Welch. Desperate, Grant offers to get Welch back in
the DiMera organization, but Larry knows after framing Lexie, he
doubts that would happen, ha! He likes working solo and Grant
compares him to Stefano. Larry tells him like Stefano, he doesn't
leave witnesses either and shoots Grant in the chest, then the
back after Grant falls (might not be good for kiddies to see)
Thanking the dead Grant, Larry opens a folder on Grant's desk and
chuckles. To himself he suggests Salem PD roll out the body bags
as Larry Welch is on a roll. Later Colin arrives to find Grant
dead on the floor. He feels for a pulse and knows he's only been
dead for a short while. He opens a briefcase and hears Grant's
secretary from the outer office asking if he needs anything. She
opens the door and Craig hides behind Grant's tall chair as the
secretary finds her boss bleeding on the floor and runs to call
911. Colin grabs some papers and dashes out another door.
Wesley Home
Craig calls and tells Chloe that Nancy's stable, but BP still up.
Her visit really helped the day before. She tells Craig she got
his message and is bringing him some clean clothes and on her way.
She walks onto the front porch and finds Brady sleeping in his
sleeping bag (his jeep might have been a little warmer). She
notes that he's cold as ice and brings him inside to warm up.
Thanking her, he tells her what she's thinking is wrong and that
she only brings good into their lives. She gives him hot cocoa
and asks he not do another vigil out there. He agrees to be
patient, but can't make a promise he can't keep.. He asks one
more thing as she's getting irritated and he only asks for some
graham crackers to go with the cocoa (remembering their s'mores).
She smiles and admits she was selfish the night before and
realizes she must focus ONLY on Nancy and the baby. He tells her
he understands, but won't stop worrying and caring about her. He
offers to drop her off at the hospital and she accepts (when will
she get a car?).
The Pub
Did Bo go home the night before? This morning he's cozy at a
table by the wall reading the paper as Kate walks in looking for
Roman. The waitress tells her that Roman always stops by on his
way to work, so Kate has a cup of coffee and will wait for him.
Tony walks in and Kate says hello. Bo hunkers behind the paper to
observe discreetly as Kate tells Tony she knows what he wants. He
asks if she comes there often, but telling him she's fresh out of
servants, unlike him, to perk her coffee. She knows he and Lexie
would love to know the sealed contents of what Stefano left her,
but it's going to remain a secret. He saw her car out front and
thought he'd try his luck for breakfast together. She asks if he
can stomach an Irish breakfast and he cites bangers, porridge and
black tea (oh yeah, hear those ordered all the time at the pub,
haha). She agrees, as long as they don't drift back to Stefano's
bequests. They order as Bo slips out in his black coat and hood
to find Roman out front. He also saw Kate's car in the lot (must
be pretty distinctive) and asks who's Bentley is next to it. Bo
fills him in and how Kate asked about Roman when she got there.
Roman walks inside and Kate and Tony are served their breakfast
of porridge, eggs and bangers (can't believe Kate eats all that
for breakfast!!) already. WOW!! Fast service at the pub. Roman
comments on the duo together and Kate certainly has cooled off as
she flicks Roman off like a mosquito. This big mosquito stings
back, asking if Kate would like some kippers to top off her
breakfast, haha. Roman leaves after both Tony and Kate give him
the cold shoulder. Joining Bo at the coffee pot he's worried that
Kate's playing a dangerous game and Bo realizes Roman cares about
her. Roman gets a cell call and he confirms being in charge while
Abe's on personal business. He tells Bo to join him and stops by
to tell Kate (and Tony) about Grant being dead. Kate takes it in
as Tony asks if it was due to natural causes. Tony reminds them
he has an alibi and taunts Bo about how clueless Salem PD is
after not finding Larry Welch and framing his sister. Roman sends
Bo outside as his furs starting to rise and before anything
happens. Kate and Tony exchange quips about secrets and Stefano.
He goes to leave and she hands him her business card as he throws
some $$ on the table. (good luck finding her at work though Tony!)
Brady's Loft
Brady returns home and Isabella tells him he did a wonderful
thing, but to be prepared that Chloe might not be able to accept
his love. Yawning, Brady goes up to take a nap as his mom
suggests (guess Basic Black is on it's own this morning).
Grant's Office
Roman and Bo ponder Colin's involvement with the DiMera's. They
hope to find some clues in Grant's office.
Back To The Hospital
Chloe arrives, asking for Craig. Brenda tells her he's with
Nancy, so Chloe goes to drop off his bag of clothes in his office
and will join him in Nancy's room. Colin returns from his "meeting"
and heads to the ER. Abe asks for 5 minutes with Brandon and they
head out to the terrace. (a friend who worked in many hospitals
mentioned hospitals usually don't have outside terraces/balconies
for various reasons. Time for a new poll question on it I think).
Abe thanks Brandon for being there for Lexie. Brandon spews back
warning Abe to not hurt Lexie. Abe tells Brandon that Lexie
doesn't need him any longer and to stay away from his wife.
Brandon figures Lexie needs him more then ever now. Sami
overhears Lexie privately order an extra test from Dr. Bader, but
only she is to know about it. Dr. Bader assures her that she's
her patient and everything would be confidential (how about
closing the door when talking then doc?) She gives Dr. Bader
Abe's hairbrush and ask if she can run a DNA test to prove he's
the father. Sami rants to herself, knowing Lexie isn't sure who
the daddy is either. Mickey returns with Nancy's Living Will all
completed and ready for Nancy's signature. Craig urges her to
reconsider as Chloe overhears what's going on from outside. Nancy
asks Mickey to read it out loud and he does so. It states that
the baby should only be taken if she's (Nancy's) dead and unable
to sustain the baby's development. Outside the door, Chloe rushes
off after overhearing the Living Will's contents. Welch calls
Colin at the hospital. He warns Colin to follow orders or he'll
end up like Grant. Until he hears from him, the bullet is to
remain unfired. Colin hangs up, to himself telling cousin Bo he
gets to live another day.

Episode #9457
Taped 11/18/02
Director - Roy Steinberg
There is no joy in Mudville, oops, I mean Salem, as John
cries "foul" when his DNA results are received, our
devious Sami is plotting to steal 3rd, Jen gets a clue as to what
is being pitched, while Colin seems to be striking out.
The Penthouse
John is on phone, talking to Shane, who tells him that the ISA
tracked Lawrence in Europe, got a sample of his DNA, and is
faxing the results. John hangs up as Marlena enters (doesn't she
always look just beautiful!) & John relates all to her. The
fax comes in Tho there is a familial tie between Lawrence &
John, they are NOT siblings. Tests years ago must have been
misinterpreted, due to the less sophisticated techniques of that
time period. (HATE rewritten history!). John is angry, and
understandably upset at the idea he could be a DiMera. Marlena
reminds him that there is a 50% chance the common parent could be
the mother. He is very upset, as he tells her there have been
only 2 constants in his life, love and hate .hatred for the
DiMeras. He worries about his children, but Marlena reminds him
he is the same man as he always was. He tells her she is the one
who made him what he is, nurtured him, while she wonders if he
thinks she has not loved him enough. (Great scenes between these
two!). John calls Shane back, asking if ISA still has DNA sample
from Stefano. They do, and Shane promises to run it against
John's and get back to him within a few days. (Hope Shane brings
it himself, dying to see him again. LOL)
The Hospital
Colin's pager goes off, and he calls Tony, who wants to see him
in re: the death of Raymond Grant. Colin tells him he has some
paperwork to dispose of first, that is in his room, relative to
Grant. Tony insists on seeing him at the Salem Inn immediately.Sami
is standing near as Dr. Bader calls Lexie. She eagerly lends an
ear, but Brandon comes up, telling her he checked her schedule,
she has a few days off, and he wants her to go away with him. (HOW
does she get so much time off?) Sami declines, and Brandon is
puzzled, as it seems she is avoiding spending time with him. He
gets distracted by a young patient, who is leaving, and Sami goes
back to listening to Karen Bader & Lexie. Alas, the lab is
backlogged, no test results yet, but she will call Lexie as soon
as they come in. Brandon's patient leaves, and he asks Sami out
to lunch, since she is thru for the day. (Amazing .she only has
to work days??). He gets a call on his cell phone .while
she takes hers out onto that ever so chilly terrace, and calls
the lab. Sami tells Eugenia that Dr. Bader wants Lexie's lab
results ASAP, that Eugenia is to call Sami and she will come and
get them to deliver them, as Bader will be in surgery all day.
Eugenia is puzzled, but agrees. Brandon comes out on the terrace,
Sami pretends to be talking to Will .and they leave.
Brady Pub
Nicole is punching Colin's name into her palm pilot, when Victor
walks in. He asks if she if trying to find Dr. Murphy, being she
is at the pub, but she says she was out shopping, and came in for
some sustenance. LOL. She airily puts away the palm pilot, saying
.just wedding plans, and asking Victor if he is following her,
& he says no, but is there a reason he should? Sami &
Brandon arrive, not too happy at seeing Nik & Vic. Sami goes
to ladies room, as she is"feeling a bit sick" (oh, she
does get in the looks along with the lines, lol), while Brandon
pulls Nicole off to the side, once more wanting her to break it
off with Victor. They chat, and he mentions the $5 million she
already has (O.K. hasn't that money drawn ANY interest in all
this time? And hasn't Nik spent ANY of it? Jeeeez! And since it
is being mentioned so often, it is gonna come into play soon, I
bet) telling her she doesn't need Victor. Sami returns, Nicole
goes back to her table, while she & Brandon have lunch.
Sami's cell phone goes off, tis Eugenia calling to say the lab
results are in. Sami tells Brandon the hospital cannot find some
file or other, tells him to finish his lunch, smooth things over
with his sis, and she'll be back. Nik sees Sami rushing out, and
wonders "where's the fire?". Victor replies (I love
this line) "After we're married, it'll be under Sami, while
you turn her on a spit..LOLOL)
Salem Inn
Jennifer is in the hallway, shopping bags galore in hand, as she
cons Mr. Mallon, the hotel manager, into letting her into Colin's
room. She claims he is soooo busy at hospital, and so little
family in town (yeah, guess that Brady clan is awfully small ..NOT!)
and she just wants to make his room a bit cheerier. Mallon lets
her in, and she is searching thru drawers, and about to force
open one that is locked, when she hears Colin & Tony at the
door. (Hmm, hotel rooms have desk drawers that LOCK???) Jen grabs
the packages, hides in the closet and the boys troop in. As Jen
listens, Tony bemoans the police confiscating all of Raymond
Grant's files, worried that there may something incriminating in
them about Stefano. Colin says Grant was too smart to keep those
kind of files in a public office, that Stefano knew exactly who
to take into his confidence, and never hired anyone that was not
100% loyal to the DiMeras, "including me". Cue a
shocked look on Jennifer's face. Tony then tells Colin that he
keep his priorities straight, that when he is summoned, he come
immediately, and that his lst priority right now is to find the
person who killed Raymond Grant.
Tony leaves, and Colin's cell phone rings. It's Larry (Colin
still has no idea who is calling him) who insists Colin meet him
immediately in the alley behind the thrift shop on 2nd St. (Larry
is in a Santa suit). Colin hangs up, unlocks the desk drawer with
a key from his pocket, takes out papers that he folds & puts
into his inside jacket pocket, takes out a gun, checks it, and
leaves. Jen comes out of the closet, saying Jack & Bo were
right about Colin. O, man, what do I do. A knock at door and it
is Mr. Mallon, who has brought a small, decorated, artificial
tree. Jen realizes there is no out for her, she has to go thru
with it, thanks Mr. Mallon, and proceeds to decorate the room. (O,
come on. Christmas lights along the headboard??? LOLOL) Jen calls
Jack, leaving a message - you were right all along, but want to
talk to you in person, and tell you all about it. She then writes
a note to Colin, saying something to the effect that she hopes he
enjoys the Christmas cheer, and they get the chance to spend some
quality time together soon.
DiMansion
Lexie hangs up on Dr. Bader, and remembers when she told Abe they
were having a baby. She shakes her head, saying Brandon cannot be
the father. Lexie then has a flashback of having sex w/Brandon,
and aloud, says, No, No, No. Tony returns home, and they both
chat .with Tony remarking how he cheated death once, and will
again. Lexie questions that cryptic remark, but Tony schmoozes
her, and they talk of Grant's death. Tony tells Lexie about a
board game called "Fungal" that Stefano learned from
some monks in Tibet. (hmmm, that guy was everywhere and wasn't
Celeste in Tibet not too long ago?) They talk of Lexie's
pregnancy, with Tony wondering how far along she is. Lexie
replies "A couple of months". Tony asks her about
having a paternity test .Lexie gets upset, but Tony reminds her
that she told him about sleeping with both Brandon & Abe
within a short time, and thinks it wise if she considers having
one. Cue Lexie wondering if she should tell him she already did.
The Alley
Colin arrives to find Santa waiting for him. They verbally spar
back and forth for a bit, when Larry finally pulls his beard
down, revealing himself to Colin to be a very much alive Larry
Welch. He admits to being the one to have killed Raymond Grant,
only to have Colin pull his gun, and overpower him. But Larry
plays his ace in the hole, telling of this incriminating file
with all sorts of sordid details on Colin that he has secreted in
a safety deposit box "somewhere in this country" (GMAB
like there was time to go somewhere else), with the fee to be
paid monthly. And if the monthly fee is not paid, instructions
are left with the bank to forward the contents to Bo Brady. Colin
releases Larry, who then tells him that he is no longer working
for Raymond Grant, nor is he working for Tony. From now on, Colin
is working only for Larry. Fadeout.

Directed by: Herb Stein
Tape Date: 11/18/02
Our Salemites prepare for the longest night of the year in
different ways deception, love, lust, greed and prayers while the
rest just watch.
Brady Pub
Lexie joins Brandon at the pub, insisting they talk. He agrees,
about her baby! She stands firm about the baby being Abe's (love
that power of positive thinking, ha!). He gets beeped away, but
warns her they aren't finished yet. Brandon continues about how
she and Abe tried and couldn't get pregnant, now it happens just
like that? Lexie tells him she'll prove to him that it's Abe's
baby and flaunts at least she's giving Abe a baby, all Sami will
give him (Brandon) is grief! Reminding him of all the grief
Sami's given others, she tells him to leave her (and Abe) alone
and screw up his own relationship. Ahhh, friendship. At the next
table Nicole looks through travel brochures that Victor had for
honeymoon ideas. Realizing that Nicole's only interested in what
he's going to do to Sami and Kate, Victor finally asks her if
that's why she's marrying him. She denies it, admitting the power
and ego trip she'll enjoy being his wife adds to it as well. Not
laughing, she tells him she was only joking and reminded him how
he always enjoys her sense of humor. Vic tells her that as long
as she follows the rules, everything will be okay. (gee, sounds
like a swell relationship NOT) She tells him it's easy to remain
with one man when you're deeply in love with him (she's just not
talking about YOU Vic). He gets a call that his afternoon meeting
was cancelled, so he tells her he's free. She, however, insists
on having work to do. (It's hell dating the boss sometime) as he
tells her no, she doesn't have to work and they're going home and
to bed. Whoa, no way she says. She wants to wait until their
married before sleeping together. She tells him that she and her
mom had a nice talk (yeah, right) and how her mom regretted not
enjoying special moments as they should be. Victor tells her
that's a load of crap and he's not buying it, LOL! She insists
she's the newer version of Nicole, Version 8.0, and wants their
wedding night to be romantic. He agrees. Her cell rings, it's
Colin saying he got her message and for her to come to his place.
Smiling, she agrees as Victor asks who she's so happy to see.
Covering, she tells him some new lingerie is in and although he
wants to join her to see it, she tells him no as it'll be a
surprise after they're married. She leaves, telling herself
she'll have sex before she's married, just not with Victor. Larry
watches her walk off and spots Victor inside sipping coffee alone.
Pulling a gun out of his santa suit, he decides to start Victor's
holiday off with a *bang*.Celeste walks by the pub and sees her
daughter talking with Brandon. To herself she knows that her
daughter must break her relationship with Brandon to have a
future with Abraham. She turns around and finds Caprice standing
there. She asks who Caprice is and suggests they go inside to
talk. Caprice refuses, saying she doesn't owe her any answers, if
anything, she (Celeste) owes her some.Celeste goes inside the pub
to find Lexie and Victor talking. Lexie thanks him for his
appreciation of what she did for Bo and Hope and says she cares
about them too. Victor gives his seat to Celeste, who warns Lexie
that Brandon will cause problems for her and Abe. Celeste and
Lexie talk about the baby and Celeste gets a psychic vibe. She
warns Lexie her happiness with Abe may be fleeting. Lexie prays
that Abe's the father of her baby.
Hartley House
The teens gather in the common room to decorate and chat
preparing for their holiday party. Shawn tells Belle that her
notes and Cassie's tutoring helped him with his finals. Belle and
Shawn spend more time kissing then talking while Philip arrives.
He gives Meems a big hug, happy he's aced his history final. She
asks if he's heading to NYC to Columbia after the holidays. He
tells Mimi he has to repair his relationship with his dad before
he leaves town. Shawn asks Belle if she's ready for their "special"
party that night and she is. Cassie unhappily watches the kiss
fest as Rex suggests they pack as Tony's waiting for them to come
home. Cassie comes back to inform Rex that Tony gave them
permission to spend another night in the dorm for the party. Rex
is happy about that and heads off to do something when Cynthia
joins Cassie. They watch Shawn and Belle (good grief, get a room)
kissing away as Cynthia tells Cassie that her test has just begun.
Can she keep Belle and Shawn apart before they get any closer?
Cassie refuses Cynthia help. In Salem fashion, Cynthia mutters to
herself how incredibly dumb Cassie is for being so smart. To
break up Salem's "super couple", she'll need all the
help she can get. Spotting Philip, she asks him about
transferring to Columbia next semester. She agrees getting away
from Chloe is the best thing he can do.Alone, Belle tells Mimi
that she and Shawn are going to ..that night. Mimi tells her they
can't. Mimi tells her about how she and Kevin almost did it on
the island, but didn't. Mimi was looking forward to telling Belle
about it and for once, having Belle look up to her about
something. She finally tells Belle if they're really ready..to go
for it. Shawn returns to his dorm room and Rex tells him he'll be
there that night. Shawn tells Rex he and Belle want to spend some
quality time together that night. He asks if Rex can bunk with
Cassie and he tells him okay. In the hall Shawn runs into Cassie
and thanks for her help studying. She hugs him and he takes off
as she delights in hugging him 1.8 seconds longer then the last
hug. Later Shawn returns with fresh flowers and a sack of other
goodies for his night with Belle. He breezes by and says hi to
Cassie on the stairs. She can't remember life before Shawn, and
knows that no one has cared or taken as good care of her as he
has. (yawn). Shawn unloads the bag (not even one twinkle light in
his room, yet Belle's looks like winter wonderland, haha, they
should use HER room). He unpacks tons of candles, candy, music
and makes sure the magic box of protection is in his drawer as he
looks at the picture of him and Belle on his nightstand. The
party's in full gear as B&S dance seductively. Mimi spots Rex
under the mistletoe and shows him what it means. He likes the
tradition. Another student gives Philip a paper snowflake for the
raffle and he balls it up and tosses it before storming out the
door. Rex wonders what's wrong and Mimi follows to find out.
Shawn asks Belle if she's ready as she nods before they kiss
again while Cassie lurks watching.
Hospital
Sami is in full mumble mode while planning her next move. Dr.
Bader overhears and inquires after hearing her name mentioned.
Sami covers about Brenda sending her to tell her as a patient is
in labor sooner then expected. Later Brenda finds Sami about to
enter the lab. She clues her in that Dr. Bader told her what she
was up to. Cue guilty look on Sami's face as Brenda rants that Dr.
Bader told what Sami said and that patient is NOT in labor. Sami
apologizes, but a seething Brenda warns her that she is being
nice now and Sami does not want to see her angry before storming
off. (you rock Brenda! This gal should be used more!) Sami
mutters she doesn't want to see her now, haha..before going in
and bothering Eugenia in the lab. Eugenia thought about it and
won't release information without proper physician authority.
Sami subtly reminds the technician that SHE covered Eugenia's
butt when the technician sent a patient with a head cold results
back that she had lung cancer. The incident was corrected in a
couple of days, but due to some fancy paperwork on Sami's part,
the patient didn't sue as threatened and Dr. Wesley never found
out about it yet. Poor Eugenia hands the results to Sami and in
the hallway, Sami looks and says OH MY GOD. The baby is Brandon's
and she has to make sure he never learns the truth. After the lab
is empty, Sami sneaks into the lab and knowing the computer so
well from previous experience, changes the records to show the
baby as Abe's. Brandon arrives, asking Brenda where Sami is. She
tells him she saw her by the lab earlier.
Colin vs Larry
Colin and Santa Larry chat in the dark alley. Holding the
knowledge that Colin was working for both Raymond Grant and Tony
DiMera over Colin's head, he tells Colin that now he'll only work
for him. He'll also save the two million dollars that Colin was
going to be paid for killing Bo. Colin threatens he won't be
blackmailed, but mocking Colin's accent, he assures him he will.
The two exchange threats until Larry's threat of sending the
files he has on Colin to Bo and Shane silence him. Colin demands
to doing it right and without leaving proof, so Larry agrees to
give him until the end of the year to do it. He wants it a
memorable holiday for the Horton's and Brady's. Larry tells Colin
he'll be contacting him and ho ho ho'ing walks away. Colin pulls
the HUGE bullet out of his pocket wondering what to do now.Colin
returns to his decorated room and finds Jennifer's note. Smiling,
he whips out his palm pilot and looks up the paper's number. He
calls Jen but asks for her voice mail when told she's not there.
He thanks her and asks her to call so they can get together.
Noticing he has a message from the five million dollar gal (Nicole),
he now realizes how he and Jennifer can be together. Later,
Nicole knocks on the door and Colin greets her in his robe. After
some verbal foreplay about the decorations, Jennifer and telling
him how boring Jennifer is, they don't waste time getting to what
they both want. She pretends to be insulted that he think she's
marrying Victor for the wrong reason. Interesting tassle running
down her cleavage (doesn't it tickle?). Later we find them in
full throes of passion as he says "I love you Jennifer".
Insulted, Nicole didn't appreciate being confused with someone
else in bed. She tosses him aside calling him a loser, jerk,
idiot. When with a man, she demands he only think of her and
storms out. He pulls a video tape out of the cabinet (where was
the camera?) saying he won't need to see her again. He's got
everything he needs right there.
Back To The Pub
Victor steps outside as we see a REAL flashback of Victor and
Larry (gosh, fun to see them so many years ago). Victor offered
to pay Larry five million to spend two years in a country club
prison. Back to present time, he says Victor owes him as he
points the gun. Victor is surprised, but it's only Nicole.
Clearly upset, he asks what's wrong. She tells him the pressure
of getting married is too much and asks him to take her home. He
agrees and they walk away as Larry steps out, saying he could've
taken both of them out if he wanted to, but where's the fun in
that. First he wants to make him suffer at the loss of Bo.
Back To The Lab
Brenda calls Brandon away just as he's about ready to open the
lab door. Sami prints out the next test results and puts them in
a folder. Colin walks in, on to what she's doing. Nervous, Sami
watches as he looks at the paper and shreds it. He tells her that
her secret is safe with him as long as she plays by his rules. He
tells himself this day is turning out better all the time.

***Episode: 9459
Directed by: Roger Inman
Tape Date: Various
Cassie plots to ruin Belle & Shawn's night of passion (as
Mimi strives to preserve it) Nancy's condition takes a turn for
the worse Jack and Jennifer reach an understanding and decide to
go after Colin Philip finally realizes it's over between him and
Chloe (there is also an early Christmas treat for the "Phloe"
fans out there).
At The Hartley House
The party is in full swing as Shawn and Belle decide that they
are ready to head upstairs. Belle is nervous because Caprice is
there as Rex and Cassie have grown tired of watching. Mimi talks
with Philip about his leaving for New York but all he wants to
talk about is Chloe and not wanting to leave while she is sick.
She talks about how she and Kevin have had a long distance
relationship and laments that sometimes first loves work out and
sometimes not. She lets is slip about Shawn and Belle, so Philip
runs interference and drags Cassie outside to make snow angels.
Rex asks Mimi why they are trying to get rid of Cassie. Mimi
explains that Philip needed her outside. Rex asks what about HIM
and his needs? Once they make it upstairs, Shawn is lighting the
candles as Belle comes over in her robe. She tells him that she
is sure she is ready as he removes her robe, telling her she is
beautiful. Philip and Cassie end up in the park (as he spots
Chloe and Brady see below). She is cold and heads back to the
dorm. When she gets back, she tries to enlist Cynthia's help, but
she is busy slobbering all over some guy in the commons and
doesn't have time for her. After talking with Rex, Cassie
realizes that Shawn and Belle are having sex and is determined to
stop them. Cassie talks with Cynthia again who advises her to
stop them before it's too late. In his room, Shawn is massaging
Belle's back as they start getting really hot and heavy. In the
hallway, Cassie says "this will put out their fire" as
she tampers with the fuse box. Instead she turns on the sprinkler
and she ends up getting drenched.
In The Park
Chloe is walking along when Brady throws a snowball in hits her
in the rump. She is NOT amused and is a real sour puss with him.
He ends up calling her selfish and they begin to argue. Brady
says that Nancy is fighting for her life because of Chloe but
Chloe isn't fighting at all and is letting everyone down. Brady
rakes her over the coals pretty good, but she explains that she
is afraid that she will end up hurting everyone. It is about this
time that Philip picks up on their conversation as he eaves drops
from the bushes. As he listens, he realizes that they have made
love. Brady tells Chloe to stop pushing him away, but instead to
lean on him because he loves her and wants to help. He says that
when they made love, it changed their lives forever and that it
is the best thing that ever happened to him. He tells her that
she has so many reasons to live and needs to believe that as they
kiss. She gets an urgent call from Craig to come to the hospital
Nancy isn't doing very well (see below). Chloe tells Brady that
he was wrong..Nancy is dying and rushes off. After Chloe leaves,
Philip goes down to the river (to the P&C 4 EVER tree) as he
has flashbacks of their relationship. It is a nice montage set to
music and I could almost swear that is Jay singing (I may be
wrong, but it sure sounds like his voice). After the song, he
says that she doesn't need him anymore as he takes an axe and
begins to chop down the tree.
At The Hospital
Colin catches up with Craig and informs him that he may be
leaving Salem, as he got an offer overseas. Craig goes to see
Nancy (who isn't doing very well). She also has not changed her
mind and determined to carry the baby as long as she can. Craig
is worried about her as she explains that the baby is their
miracle and now they must believe. Craig pleads with her to
change her mind but she gets really agitated with him and begins
to have trouble. Later, Dr. Bader is with him as she explains
that Nancy's kidneys and liver are now in danger and her BP is
still sky high. Craig wants to take the baby now by c-section and
wants Dr. Bader to assist. She says that they can't do that and
tries to stop him. Craig breaks down crying, saying that he MUST
do something. She says that they must follow Nancy's wishes. He
then calls Chloe, telling her to get over there.
At The Cop Shop
Jennifer calls a meeting with Jack and Bo filling them in on what
she overheard in Colin's room. Jack is upset with her for putting
herself in danger as she explains what and how she found out.
Jack and Jen want Bo to arrest Colin, but he explains that they
have no proof and that he needs specifics. Jack asks about the
evidence at Raymond Grant's office and Bo explains that they came
up empty there. Jack doesn't want Jennifer in danger, but Bo says
to get the proof they need, Jen is in too deep and must continue
(or Colin will become suspicious). SHE must be the one to bring
him down. Jack is very uneasy and uncomfortable with this, but
she is determined to follow through. Jen is upset that Colin
played her for a fool and now she wants to "nail him".
Reluctantly, Jack tells her to "sign me up" as he wants
to help. Bo leaves as Jack offers to take Jen home.On the way
home, they stop in the park Jen wants to talk to him. Jack tells
her he isn't up to fighting. She explains that she doesn't want
to fight and admits that he was right about Colin all along. She
says that she went after the wrong man on purpose and that it is
a pattern in her life. She talks about ever since she was a
little girl and they took her mother away, she has had trouble
trusting people. She talks about the crazy and risky life she and
Jack shared and says that she is ready to take a risk again. She
says that she doesn't even have the right but asks if they could
start over and Jack says no (as Jen's face falls). He explains
that to start over, they must forget the past and he doesn't want
to forget a minute of the life they have shared. But, he says,
before they can move on with the future, they must put this Colin
mess in the past. He wants her to be careful as he worries about
her. She asks him if he would like to spend Christmas morning
with her and Abby. With a smile, Jack says that wild reindeer
couldn't keep him away.
Meanwhile, With LarryClaus
Colin visits with Larry (who is upset that Colin isn't following
his orders) and he threatens him again. Colin counter-threatens
Larry, saying that he is a wanted man. He informs Larry that he
has a new plan (as he pulls out his gun). He tells him that he
WILL take care of Bo, but in return, wants all the info Larry has
on him or Santa will be wearing a bit more red this year. Larry
reluctantly agrees, but will NOT give Colin the $2 million. To
himself, Colin says he doesn't need Larry's money when he can get
$5 million from Nicole plus he can have Jen to boot "Lucky
me" he says. Bo comes out of a store and spots Colin as
Colin tells him his plans to return to Ireland. Bo asks about his
relationship with Jen as Colin tells him not to worry, it will
all work out. They say their goodnights, and as Bo leaves, Colin
says that once he has his ducks in a row, it will be a permanent
goodnight for Bo AND anyone who gets in his way, fade to black.
