Bo and Hope share some quiet alone time (as danger
lurks at the Horton cabin), as John and Tony face off at
DiMansion. But this show is devoted mainly to the Wesley family's
emotional turmoil. This is clearly the "Kevin Spirtas
Episode" as he steals the show. Thumbs up to his emotionally
charged portrayal of Craig Wesley.
Bo & Hope Catch Up
at home. Zack is upstairs asleep (Bo says he fought it all the
way) as Bo and Hope share the sofa. She talks about how this was
the best Thanksgiving ever and how happy she is to be in his arms.
The scene changes to the Horton cabin as someone comes stumbling
in. In the darkness, we see that it is Larry Welch. Bo and Hope
cuddle and cherish their time alone. Bo makes tea as she begins
to fret that she hasn't started her Christmas shopping. He says
she will start on December 23rd, like always and they laugh. They
talk about Shawn and how much it bothers her that her "baby"
doesn't live there anymore. She asks about his roommate "Dozer"
and Bo explains it all to her. She doesn't like the sound of it
and also doesn't like that fact that Rex (the genetically altered
teen as she calls him) living with Shawn now. Bo assures her that
all seems to be going well. Hope begins to think about Larry
again and becomes anxious. Bo assures her that he will never
bother them again, for he is at the bottom of the river. But
Larry is very much alive and making himself at home at the cabin.
He picks up a framed photo of Bo and Hope and says that he and
Hope WILL be together again soon. Bo takes Hope on a bit of a
trip down memory lane, explaining if not for Larry Welch, they
may not have ever gotten together. He tells her that whenever she
hears the name Larry Welch to think of their love. Later, Bo asks
Hope if she is ready for bed. She is but NOT for sleep (o-la-la)
They start kissing on the sofa as Hope says she wants to show him
just how much she missed him. Meanwhile, Larry finds an envelope
with the DiMera crest on it, with Larry Welch scribbled on the
front. He picks it up and says "the Phoenix will not rise,
but thanks to Stefano DiMera I WILL.
Over At DiMansion
We get a replay of John charging in and grabbing Tony. Tony
shoves him and John punches him in the face. While down, Tony
moves the chair to hide the Phoenix box. After he gets up, John
accuses him of going after Marlena. He tells him that he will
NEVER have her and to save himself the trouble. Tony swears he
isn't after her and John says she wants nothing from Tony. John
brings up the twins and how Tony is using them to get to Marlena
and says he is becoming obsessive just like Stefano. They argue
and John tells him to leave Marlena out of it and not make her
suffer. Tony asks if there is something wrong with her. He then
refers to he and Marlena as "family", pointing out that
they shared a step daughter, Carrie. (wow, that sure is a stretch
as John points out). John laughs at him and says inlaws, outlaws,
whatever you may be you have respect for NO law. Tony brings up
Kristen and how John stole her from him and destroyed his life.
John then accuses him of going after Marlena for revenge. Tony
says he is not interested in "tit-for-tat" (sorry, but
LOL) but talks about how he admires Marlena for her compassion
and intelligence. He says that he is sure that he and Marlena's
pasts are connected in some way. John talks about how Stefano
tried to possess Marlena and how his presence corrupts those
around him. Tony says he remembers Kristen when she was younger
and she was a good person until she met John and says that HE is
the one who corrupted her. After all, Tony says, you ARE one of
the family. John remembers the letter Marlena found and grabs
Tony by the collar saying he is NOT a DiMera. Tony says he became
one when Stefano trained him as one of his pawns and that he only
latched on to Marlena because he needed her goodness to save him.
He says if he loses Marlena he loses who HE is the heroic John
Black. THEN he will be one of them again. John says NEVER and
stay away from my wife. Tony asks him to leave and John storms
out. Tony unveils the painting of Marlena and talks to it,
telling her that John will fight to the death to keep her. He
goes back to the Phoenix box and calls it Pandora's box. It opens
to reveal smoke and a blue light. As it shines on his face, he
says "Oh my God".
At the Hospital
Craig and Dr. Bader wheel Nancy on a gurney into the ER. Craig
wants to help, but Dr. Bader advises him not to, for Nancy will
see the fear in his face. After she examines Nancy, Dr. Bader (who
has quite a meaty part in this show and even gets a first name
"Karen") talks with Craig. Nancy's blood pressure is
extremely high and she is running the risk of stroke. He tells
her that he had some exciting news for Nancy but didn't get the
chance to tell her. Dr. Bader says it may excite her too much and
advises him not to tell her. He goes to Nancy and she admits to
having dizzy spells and just thought it was morning sickness. Now
she is afraid she was missing warning signs. She talks to the
baby, promising to take care of her. Back outside, Karen (Dr.
Bader) tells Craig that she isn't responding to the medication as
she hoped. Craig has to go and do something and tells Karen to
call him if she needs him. He goes to the chapel and has a
tearful talk with God. Great scene here (and if you have a tender
heart, have a hanky handy), as Craig apologizes for not visiting
God often enough, but he needs him now. He talks about how
thankful he is for his wife and daughters and for the gifts he
has given him, but feels that those skills he was given to him
are useless now. He prays for God to help them and not take the
baby from them. But he says what ever happens, what ever is meant
to be to just give them the strength to make it through. Later,
he is back with Karen and she tells him that Nancy isn't doing
any better and if she carries the baby full turn, there is high
risk of stroke. He asks her if Nancy should terminate the
pregnancy. Karen says that she isn't sure but it is an option
that needs to be considered if Nancy doesn't respond. Craig
realizes if they take the baby at this stage, it would never
survive and that it could come down to the baby or Nancy. Craig
goes to Nancy and she caresses his cheek, realizing that
something is terribly wrong.
At The Cabin
Chloe is ready to make love, but Brady stops her, saying that she
needs to be sure. He wants her to focus on getting well. She says
she is sure and knew from the moment she first saw him that he
was the one and they begin to kiss. He confesses that he has no
protection and she informs him that she saw something in the
bathroom cabinet. He checks it out and returns and they kiss
again. He carries her off to the bedroom and they begin to make
love to the song from last week ("My Destiny"). Later
the song continues to play as we see them going at it, with
glimpses of skin and kissing. Afterward, she tells him that for
the first time in her life, everything seems right and perfect.
Brady tells her that everything IS perfect and will stay that way
as the music begins to play again and the credits roll.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3RD,

A new morning in Salem as Bo and Hope chat about Billie, Jen
makes several stops running into both Jack and Colin, Kate's
troubles increase by two and Billie's told to pack up her desk
and get out.
Hartley House
Belle returns to her huge dorm room to be greeted by Shawn. He
decorated her (and Cassie's) room for Christmas, including a
Christmas tree and reindeer. He plucks the little heart saying I
LOVE YOU off a small snowman to give her and tells her he loves
her. Cassie and Rex walk in and find them kissing. They wanted to
drop off their books before another meeting with Professor Putnam.
Cassie raves about how Belle decorated their room, but Belle
tells her that Shawn did it. Shawn gives Belle an early Christmas
present, a purple sweater with a snowman near the shoulder. She
loves it as it reminds her of him. Cassie's jealousy is obvious.
She tells Belle she loves her sweater and they excuse themselves.
Shawn shuts the door and they continue the smooch fest. Later we
see Belle finishing a call with her mom about shopping. She wants
to get Cassie a sweater too, but Shawn tells her no snowman on
hers though. They snuggle as she hopes they can help Cassie and
Rex. Shawn tells Belle that he wants to surprise her every day
this month (like an advent calendar he says).
DotCom
Billie thanks Jack for calling her as they sit sipping coffee in
a booth at DotCom. Jen walks in and spots them. Billie suggests
Jack go talk to Jen, but he refuses. She sends him for a refill
for her, which of course is near the line where Jen is standing.
Jen stops Jack, wanting to talk. Jack is still hurt about her not
telling him the truth. He excuses himself after Jen tried to
apologize again.Outside, Colin stops Nicole before she goes
inside. He asks if Victor included her in on the fact that Hope
wasn't really dead. He's happy to learn she was excluded just as
he was from his family from the truth. Victor walks up nearby,
unseen by Nicole, as she tells Colin she and Victor understand
each other and are entering a life long commitment because they
want to very much. Victor surfaces, saying he's glad to hear that.
Colin tells them he comes to dotCom several times a day as the
hospital coffee is swill. He didn't see it as a place for
magnates though, as Nicole reminds him Victor's son works there.
Victor rushes to open a door for a woman carrying her young son.
It reminded him of Philip as a baby and Nicole said after seeing
Philip's baby pictures, he was cuter. They go into dotCom and
Colin smiles knowing Victor's history with unfertile women. Colin
joins Jen at the coffee pots. Now that the newspaper crunch is
over, he invites her out for dinner. She agrees, wanting to just
check about Abby first and will get back to him.Victor and Nicole
sit in the chairs as she asks if he's upset about her talking
with Colin. She tells him Colin's interested in Jennifer. He
tells her she knows why Colin is the only one he doesn't want her
around and she knows why. He leaves to check on Philip (who we
never see) as she tells herself that she alone controls her life,
not even he will do that. Colin joins her, asking if she was
commanded to sit and stay. Nicole pulls out her business card and
writes her private cell number on it, suggesting Colin use it and
hands it to him. Victor joins them and Colin said he was just
checking on Nicole's health and if she saw the fertility
specialist he recommended to her. She tells him she's been too
busy with wedding plans and Victor reminds him he's not Nicole's
doctor anymore and it's none of his concern. Colin tells himself
that Nicole's playing with fire.
Kate & Raymond Grant
Stefano's lawyer is surprised that Kate finally agreed to meet
with him. She reminds him about Stefano's request for her
discretion on a certain matter. She wants something in return to
do so. He tells her that Stefano is 6 ft. under and in no
position to help her. Smart Kate remembers Stefano was cremated (gotcha
Raymond!) and figures someone must benefit by her silence. She
doesn't want Victor and Nicole to be married for her continued
silence. The lawyer doesn't appreciated her blackmail threat and
reminds her she's been paid for her cooperation as a courtesy. Mr.
Dimera has other methods of insuring cooperation as she must
realize. If she's having problems with her ex-husband, they're
her problems and she's not to contact him again.
Bo & Hope
At the kitchen table, Hope is sad Bo has to go to work. He
promises to make the day short, just tying up a few loose ends.
She knows that means Larry Welch. She also asks about Billie.
While Hope is convinced of Billie's guilt, he reminds her of due
process and how they arrested Lexie and don't want to make
another mistake. She reminds him how Billie's done bad things
before and he believed her. He agrees with her and admits that
he's been looking through rose colored glasses since her return.
He promises nothing will ever happen to her like that again (how
many times have we heard THAT gang?) While kissing, she unsnaps
his shirt, but holds him off until later, sending him off to
work, LOL! He teases her about unsnapping his shirt and heads off.
(Zack must be a late sleeper). Jen arrives and asks where Zack is
(LOL!). Hope tells her he's sleeping in and Jen worries the
doorbell might have woken him. The two cousins hug, glad to be
back together. Hope thanks Jen for all she did to help. She
overheard Jen telling Julie about problems with Jack that arose
due to his being left out. Jen's afraid this might have been the
straw that broke the camel's back for them. She's held ancient
history over Jack's head, why shouldn't he do the same for her?
Zack calls out for his mommy on the baby monitor and Hope tells
Jen she'll be right back as she goes to rush and get him..but Jen
has errands to run. She asks Hope if there's anything she can get
for her, but Hope has errands too and Caroline's anxious to see
Zack (why, they had him the last week before she was rescued,
haha) The two cousins hug and tell each other they love each
other as Hope rushes upstairs.
Professor Putnum
Rolf takes the cobalt key out of his briefcase, privately
thanking Tony for returning it to him. Cassie and Rex join him in
search of answers about their DNA. He tells them to close their
eyes and relax, then count to ten. He slips the bracelets on
their wrists and turns on the device. He orders them to protect
the Dimera's at all costs. Later they're back to normal as he
hands them paperwork on their DNA test results. He dismisses them
until their next appointment. Alone he comments on their
innocence and potential lethalness.
Back To DotCom
Victor goes to fetch a Mocha Java for Nicole to take back to
Titan while she freshens up. Kate walks in and Nicole tells her
she and Victor are getting married soon. Nichole warns Kate to
enjoy what life she has left and joins Victor. Out loud to
herself Kate damns Victor, Nicole and the Dimeras for not helping
her, wishing them all dead. Cassie and Rex walk in and overhear
that and their programming to protect the Dimeras kicks in as
Cassie picks up a knife off the table.
Hospital
Jen stops by the hospital to finalize their dinner plans. She
tells him Abby's sleeping over at her friends house. Colin is
happy to hear they'll have the house to themselves when he takes
her home as Jen squirms a little. He's paged and calls Raymond
Grant. He reminds him about the silver bullet with Bo's name on
it and wants to be sure a plan is in place. Colin assures him
he'll take care of it as he sees Jennifer nearby apparently not
listening. He tells Jennifer he's all hers tonight.
Cop Shop
Abe and Roman talk about Billie. Without Larry they can't prove
she was part of the kidnapping. Later Bo arrives and Roman tells
him Shane cut through a lot of red tape and got all charges
against Bo dropped. The judge and DA weren't pleased to be left
out of the loop. Bo knows he did what he had to to save Hope.
Billie (and Jack) arrive and she asks Bo if he still blames her.
He asks what she's doing there. She came to clean out her desk,
figuring she knows what the outcome will be. Bo doesn't buy her
just being a victim of Larry Welch's plan. He tells her she's
only wanted to be a cop for 12 months and has skated on thin ice
from being put in jail before. Whether it was sheer stupidity or
malicious intent, she helped a monster help kidnap his wife and
son and for her not to play a victim. Jack said she is a victim,
just as much as he and Hope were. Jack recalls Larry did
everything and just duped Billie. The 3 top cops suggest Billie
get a lawyer and the best she can find as she'll need the best. (if
Mickey wasn't Hope's uncle, I'd say she gets him being she's
leaving Salem soon, wink)Abe asks to speak with Bo alone and the
other three leave. Roman gives Billie 15 minutes to clean out her
desk and leave. Jack tries to comfort Billie, who's now weeping,
by asking her out. She agrees. She tells Roman to tell Bo she's
sorry and tells Jack she'll see him later. He tells her it'll be
okay the truth will set her free. Bo and Abe walk out of Abe's
office and Bo's heading over to the hospital to get a victim's
statement. He stops by on his way out and tells Billie goodbye
and to get a lawyer, fast. After Bo's gone, Billie picks up her
box of items and finds Hope standing there. Hope tells her she's
not going anywhere until she's finished with her. Cue a split
screen with black and white pictures of their faces as the
credits roll.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4TH, 2002

Hope & Billie face off, Nancy's condition does not improve,
Chloe & Brady's vacation ends, and Larry begins Round 2 of
his plans.
In The Colorado Love Nest
Brady & Chloe awaken to a new day, happy to be together,
As they snuggle under the comforter, the phone rings, & Brady
breaks the bad news to Chloe ..the rental car is fixed they have
to leave. Although they don't want to leave, Chloe mentions her
baby sister will be born in three months. They dress, go outside,
and we see each on a different portion of a big hill, shouting
their love for each other. (Nope ..no echo, lol). We then see
them cavorting in a meadow, video camera in hand as they tape
their surroundings. (I swear someone is atop a mountain in the
distance! .lol again) They go to the lake, and drink in the
breathtaking scenery all around them. Brady hands the camera to
Chloe, and reaffirms his love for her, picking up a stone as a
token of how long it will last, saying lakes, glaciers, etc come
and go, but the stone stays forever. Chloe is touched, gives the
camera back, thanks him, looks around for something to give him,
picking up a very large pine cone. She says it contains an entire
forest, and when she is with him, things are always unfolding and
growing. They kiss, as the camera completely encircles them, once
more giving us a taste of the gorgeous views.
Back in the cabin, Brady hangs up the phone, having confirmed the
afternoon flight to Salem. Chloe has written a note of thanks to
the cabin owner .saying "We've never met, but we owe you
special thanks. This beautiful cabin has transformed our lives".
She adds thanks for the man who brought them there, but no money,
as far as I could see, for all the food, use of the ATVs, bikes,
firewood, and .ahem "bathroom cabinet items" they used
up during their stay. (Tsk, tsk. That poor man will return from
Vegas to empty cupboards, dirty laundry, no firewood .) He
mentions that maybe they'll be back for their hon..(almost saying
honeymoon), but covers saying something else. Chloe leaves the
note by the phone, they leave, and within a minute or so the
phone rings. (See below)
At Salem Hospital
Craig is asleep at Nancy's bedside, as she prays to God to
protect her unborn child. He awakens, checks her BP monitor, and
it is still high. Nancy gets upset, & Dr. Bader consults
outside the cubicle with Craig, warning him that any news, good
or bad, would not be good for Nancy. Back inside the cubicle,
Nancy gets very upset at the "secrets" as Craig
remembers the speech he rehearsed telling Chloe that he was her
bio dad. Craig soothes and calms Nancy down.
Later, Dr Bader has a serious talk with them both, telling Nancy
of the danger she is in, and wanting permission to take the baby
now. Nancy is furious, and absolutely refuses. She understands
the danger to herself, and does not care. This is NOT just about
saving this baby, but also saving the life of her other daughter,
and she will not jeopardize the chance to save Chloe, no matter
the cost to herself. Bo arrives to interview a gang member who
had been shot, and is spotted by Colin. He pulls out his "Bo
silver bullet", and tries to strike up a conversation with
Bo, who brushes him off. Later, when Bo is going to leave, Colin
once more approaches Bo, talking of family, and wishing he had
been part of the family pow wow plan to save Hope. Bo lets him
know he doesn't trust him, mostly cuz of his relationship with
the DiMera's. Colin tries to excuse himself from that, talking of
Tony's rare blood, etc. and attempting to find another doctor for
him, but Bo isn't buying any of it. Bo is very abrupt, and leaves.Later,
Colin & Craig chat for a while, with Colin suggesting family
members be notified about Nancy's condition. Craig demurs, giving
some excuse about Nancy's family. They chat a bit, with Colin
talking about family in general, but Craig realizes that tho they
were speaking of Nancy's family, Colin was talking of the Bradys.
He leaves, as Colin gets a phone call. Craig finally decides it
is time to call Chloe, and rings up the Colorado cabin.
At The Cop Shop
Hope is in the doorway, preventing Billie's exit. She tells
her off about her participation in Larry's plan, and tho Billie
tries to leave, Hope stops her. They go into Abe's office, Where
Billie sets her box down, then tells Hope how sorry she is, but
she was scammed herself, believing Welch to be Agent Ross. Hope
isn't buying any of it, accusing Billie of always being after Bo.
Billie denies this, and tries to apologize about the danger to
Hope and her son, bringing up her own loss of a child. Hope is
furious at that, telling her that any loss of a child is tragic,
but that Billie used that loss to her own advantage, not telling
Bo initially. They argue back & forth, and Hope finally tells
Billie to just leave, as she picks up Billie's box of desk stuff
and gives it to her. Billie, box in her arms, shoves back at
Hope, knocking her against a desk, as Bo arrives. Bo tells Billie
to leave, and never bother his family again. She does so, as
other officers in the outer office ignore her.
Bo tries to calm Hope down, as she rants against Billie, saying
she hates her, and wants her out of their lives forever.
On Smith ISland
in the Horton cabin, Larry picks up a picture of Tom & Alice,
saying thanks for the well stocked cabin, medicine chest, no nosy
neighbors, the perfect hideout. He says this was only Round 1, as
he opens an envelope, saying here's my insurance. One paper seems
to be a bank statement from the Geneva Export Bank, another is a
blank sheet of stationery with the Phoenix crest at the top.
Larry remarks that Grant doesn't know he has this, and "with
Stefano DiMera's help, nothing is going to stop me".
He looks at a letter with a Raymond Grant heading on it, then
pulls another item from an envelope .a picture of Colin. As he
looks at the picture, he says "You thought all this time you
were working for Stefano, but you will have a big surprise, Dr.
Murphy, when you find out you were working for me."
Larry calls Colin, who does not recognize his voice. But Larry
tells him, that he doesn not know him yet, but they have mutaul
friends, as well as mutual enemies, and if they get together,
they can help each other out..Back at the Salem PD, Billie leaves
the main office, then calls someone saying "It's me, Billie.
I need a favor .a big favor". Freeze frame, and the credits
roll.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2002

A lot happening today as Abe asks Lexie to come back to him,
Roman and Kate get to know each other better (and how!), Brandon
tries to reassure Sami of their future together, Marlena has
another nightmare where she recognizes the man in it and lastly,
Tony finally has Stefano's diary explaining the past .
Abe's Office
Celeste visits Abe and finds him holding his and Lexie's picture.
She asks what he's going to do, knowing he can't stop thinking
about Lexie. They discuss what happened and he admits still
loving Lexie. She tells him Lexie still loves him too. She
encourages him to continue pursuing her daughter and she'll help
him. He agrees.
DotCom
A replay of Kate wishing all the Dimera's were dead with Cassie
and Rex overhearing. Shawn and Belle run into Cassie and Rex as
she's about to pick up the knife on the table. Shawn announces he
and Belle were on the way to the movies, but stopped by for some
hot cocoa first. He offers to buy one for the twins too. Cassie
agrees and Rex slips the letter opener in his back pocket. The
guy who was sitting at the table picks up his things and leaves,
so Belle and Rex sit at the table. Belle tells Rex she can see
he's on a mission of some sort by the way he's distracted. He's
watching Kate, who's sitting behind Belle, and she figures he's
Christmas shopping. Being he's new at this, she takes his hand
and offers to help him. He smiles and agrees, still staring at
Kate. Shawn and Cassie return with the cocoa as Caprice walks in
from shopping. Cassie tells them she and Rex were going to the
movies too, but Rex has other things to do. He goes out back and
puts his gloves on.Roman is also there and runs into Kate, who's
trying to check on Billie on her cell. Roman asks why she's in
such a foul mood. She agrees to stay if he promises not to
mention Stefano Dimera's name. If he does, her car is right out
back and she'll leave. (Rex overheard that). Roman agrees,
neither mentions their past and focus only on the present. She
changes her mind and he stops her by commenting on what a
remarkable woman she is. Kate exits to the back parking lot and
while walking to her car, a construction scaffolding with lumber
starts to tumble onto her as she screams. Roman rushes out of
dotCom and pulls her to the ground out of the line of debris
falling. She's rattled, but okay as a female officer rushes up.
Roman tells the officer to secure the area and have someone down
to make sure if things were by code. Kate asks him to take her
home. Rex returns inside dotCom and Belle asks Mission Man if he
completed his mission. He hopes so.
Hospital
Lexie is furious with Brandon when he calls. Sami walks up with a
heart shaped balloon asking if it reminds him of their weekend
getaway. He tells her Lexie just hung up on him and she's the
reason why. Sami asks what that jealous tramp wanted and rants
about how Lexie is a liar and only cares about herself Lexie
wants Abe back now and he asks why she's continuing with the
divorce then? He also believes she erased all her messages on the
answering machine. He rationalizes that Sami thought she was
protecting him, but in reality, was protecting herself. He knows
how insecure she feels after what's happened to her in the past.
He mentions the bracelet he gave her and meant they're forever,
if she'll trust him and them. She agrees and they kiss. She
shouldn't feel threatened by Lexie he tells her and gets paged
away. Sami tells herself he's right, Lexie should feel
threatened, by her.
Black Penthouse
Marlena tells herself that those that forget their history are
doomed to repeat it. John joins her with a cup of something (hopefully
not Salem Tea) and finds her deep in thought. She tells him it's
starting all over again. He tells her the ISA is working on all
the clues they've found. He sees the flowers Tony sent her on the
floor and asks why they aren't in the trash where he threw them.
She has memory flashes of her portrait holding the flowers and
her holding them on the couch, but tells him she doesn't know.
She asks what happened with Tony, but he brushes her off. She
worries if Tony will come after her the same way Stefano did. He
admits that's been his biggest fear all along. The sooner the ISA
reviews all their evidence, the sooner they can hopefully figure
everything out. She's worried Stefano took his secrets to the
grave. John hangs up with Shane about what they've found out so
far. They haven't concluded if his and Tony's DNA show they're
brothers. They've identified her fingerprints as well as Tony and
Stefano's and are running the rest through the ISA International

information. She doesn't want him to, saying he'd be leaving his
family alone and vulnerable. The holidays are here and he's
needed there. He agrees to postpone his trip for a while as they
hug. We return to find Marlena asleep on the couch (that's all
she's doing lately) as John covers her with the throw. He strokes
her face and kisses her head telling her to sleep as she dreams
about the time she was held captive. Shortly thereafter we see
Marlena from the past (with long hair) sitting up in bed as she
rises the same way on the couch. A man approaches her wearing a
dark ring and John rushes to hold her as in a trance, she says
Stefano's name.
Back To Dot Com
Lexie arrives to find her mother beckoned her to see Abe. She
gives Abe 5 minutes after Celeste leaves. He tries to explain how
empty he felt seeing her supposedly dead on the roof of the
hospital, even though he knew she was really alive. He saw the
woman he loved when she was genuinely happy that Hope was alive
and back with her family. He asks if she'll come back to him.
Before she can answer, Mickey joins them and tells Abe he wanted
to talk with him, but seeing Lexie's there, it might not be a
good time. Abe's confused as Lexie looks a bit uncomfortable. As
they both stare at Lexie, Mickey tells him that Cameron Reese
called to tell him that Lexie's not going to contest the divorce.
Lexie walks away. Caprice sees Celeste at dotCom and flashes back
to the paper doll chain. Celeste stops her from leaving, asking
how she knows her. We didn't hear what happened, but Caprice
walks outside dotCom and comments how Frankie isn't aware of all
they have in common, including a man.Cassie is excited about
Christmas and can't keep her eyes off Shawn. Belle's on to her.
She and Shawn ponder Rex's strange behavior too. Cassie and Rex
return as they announce all of them are going to the movies. They
head for the back door and a plainclothes cop stops them, telling
them about the accident. Cassie figures Rex knows what happened
as she saw him go out back earlier (so much for the genius IQ, ha).
He flashes back to the scaffolding out back, but only remembers
the wind blowing. Abe said it looks like an accident and they
should contact the owner to clean up the mess before the storm
gets worse. The teens head for the movies.
Roman's Home
Roman gives Kate some scotch and is surprised she meant his home
as to where to take her. She didn't want to be alone and
surprised he didn't figure out she wanted a friend. They talk
about how rare it is to have a man for a friend and a lover. She
doesn't figure such a man exists. He challenges that and she
tells him it won't happen with them. They exchange clichés and
he tells her that he might be the last man she'll ever need as
they kiss and kiss more. She moves away and taunts him by
unbuttoning her jacket as he follows and they disappear from the
room in each other's arms. Later we find them in his bedroom. A
steamy scene as the two undress each other while kissing and
eventually end up under the covers.
Back To The Hospital
Lexie arrives and rants to Brandon about how he used her to get
back at Abe. He asks how she got that idea as Sami walks up. Cue
the deer in the headlight look.
DiMansion
Tony pats his covered picture of Marlena and sits down with the
book he found in the puzzle box from the island. Opening it he
finds it's the private journal of Stefano Dimera from 1960-1980.
Flipping through the pages, they're all blank. Such fancy
lettering for a blank book (maybe the writing is invisible?
Where's Harry Potter when you need him?? Were Stefano and Tom
Riddle related (Harry Potter fans can relate to that, sorry to
every one else, ha!) Tony throws the diary on the floor and Lexie
picks it up. She sees the Dimera crest on the book's cover and he
tells her he found he while she was playing dead. His frustration
about the blank pages flares, but she has another idea for them
to find out about the past. She tells him how Rolf took care of
her before and he should use him too, but she hasn't seen him in
months. Celeste calls from dotCom (see above) and asks Lexie to
join her, so she leaves to do so. He knows Dr. Rolf is close, but
doesn't know if he can trust his future with him. Tony called
Rolf who offers to help in any way he can. Rolf sees the diary
and comments on the blank pages. Frustrated, Tony throws him out.
To himself, Tony thanks John Black for a way to start his own
legacy. As he squats near the fire, it appears he's going to toss
the diary in when Rolf rushes in and tells him not to. Tony
denies going to do that and orders Rolf out again. Tony tells
himself the truth is frozen in time, but the words in the diary
appear. Stefano wrote that in the event of his death, he wanted
his next of kin to know their family secrets (about all I can
read) as the credits roll.

Chloe & Brady return home, Lexie gets surprising news, while
Bo & Hope's date isn't as private as they would have liked.
The show jumps around, back and forth a lot, so will do the best
I can with what happens where.
DotCom
Philip is bussing tables, thinking to himself that Chloe is out
having a good time with Brady, while he is stuck with dishes.
Cynthia comes in with one of her cohorts, and comes on to Philip,
who tells her to go away & stay away.
Later, Jack & Billie arrive (see below) and sit down to play
some game. Jack commiserates with her, moaning how people could
possibly believe she would help kidnap someone, but Billie says
that is exactly what she did. She admits that she agreed to aid
Agent Ross, just to be near Bo. That tho she moved thousands of
miles away, she still was hung up on him. Jack says her only
crime was loving someone who doesn't love her back. He has done
in a few times .and with the same woman. Philip mentions
overhearing them, and Jack tells him to sit down, and join the
Love 'em and lose 'em club. Philip joins his sis and Jack and all
3 feel sorry for themselves.
The Wesley Home
Chloe & Brady arrive home, all happy and kissy face, lol,
with Chloe surprised at the empty house. She calls out for both
Craig & Nancy, when the door opens, the next door neighbor,
Janet Morrissey, comes in, saying she was asked to feed and walk
Honey & Sugar (the two dogs). Chloe realizes something must
be wrong, and they rush to the hospital. At the hospital, Craig
is still maintaining a vigil at Nancy's bedside. Chloe &
Brady arrive, but Craig shushes them, and goes out in the hall to
tell them what happened. He gives Chloe a big hug (you can tell
how he feels knowing this is really his daughter! - so much
emotion shows on his face!). Chloe gets very upset over the news
about Nancy's health, and runs out. Brady tells Craig he will
look after her and follows her out. Craig returns to sit at
Nancy's side once more, calming her fears about her BP, &
reminding her she must remain calm and not get excited. (She does
not know Chloe came) Chloe is back home, totally convinced that
her happiness has resulted in these problems, and she is just a
jinx. Brady tries to reassure her, but Chloe will have none of it.
She wants to be alone, goes inside and shuts the door. Brady
shivers out on the porch.
Back At The Hospital
Brandon has confronted Sami about Lexie's accusations. Sami
finally admits that she did, indeed, tell Lexie that Brandon was
only using her to get back at Abe. Brandon makes her apologize,
which she does (had to kill her, lol). Meanwhile, reporters are
hounding Abe for some diss on Lexie, wanting to know if she is
the proper kind of wife for a police commander. (Egads, their
questions all sound like they are from the Intruder!) Abe is with
Mickey, and becomes furious at them all, defending Lexie to the
max, praising how she stood by him thru thick and thin. Lexie
hears it all. Mickey gets rid of the reporters, and Lexie &
Abe talk quietly. A nurse summons Abe, who promises to be right
back. Sami takes the opportunity to goad Lexie, while Brandon
does the same to Abe. Dr. Bader runs into Lexie, and talks her
into coming into a cubicle for a little checkup. When Dr. Bader
asks when Lexie's last period was, she cannot recall ..and the
kind Dr. hands her a pregnancy test. Lexie looks a bit shocked,
but takes it.
Later, she is returning, and is spotted by Sami. She goes into
the cubicle, handing Dr. Bader the package, saying "you
look, I can't. Dr. Bader looks and happily announces that it is
positive. "You're pregnant". Outside, Sami looks
shocked and very unhappy. Lexie comes out, spotting Abe, goes up,
putting her arms around him and happily asking him to take her
home, she has something to tell him.
Meanwhile, Dr. Bader goes to check on Nancy, pulls Craig outside,
and tells him that perhaps he should put aside his stethoscope,
and just be Nancy's husband. That is what she really needs now.
Craig sees her point and agrees.
The Blue Note
Bo is seated at a table with Hope, when Jack & Billie arrive.
Hope is not happy to see them. Within a minute or so, in comes
Jen & Colin. None of the couples are happy to see one another.
Hope wants to talk to Billie, but Bo stays her, and goes to
Billie himself. Billie swears she did not know he was going to be
there, and Jack volunteers to leave, first wanting to talk to Jen.
Billie once again tries to make Bo believe she did not know
Larry's plans, but Hope comes up, and both she & Jack leave.
Jack has already had a few curt words w/Jen & Colin.
Jen & Colin stop by the Brady's table, & tho Hope invites
them to join them, Bo is throwing daggers at Colin. Jen &
Colin go sit at the bar, leaving Bo & Hope in peace. They
have some romantic conversation, talking of how lucky they are to
have each other. Bo has a gift for Hope, a bracelet with the
birthstone of her boys .Shawn, Zack & JT. He tells her how he
had decorated the house for her return, welcome banners, flowers,
etc. They have a loving conversation, when the lights go low, a
singer comes out on the stage. Hope asks Bo who the singer is,
and Bo replies, "Kelly Moneymaker" (she is Peter
Reckle's wife). Bo pulls Hope out onto the dance floor, as Kelly
begins to sing "Can't Live Without Your Love" (Kelly
wrote this song, especially for Bo & Hope), and we now get
the sort of ending montage we love and have been waiting for. As
Kelly sings, we see Lexie embracing Abe, with Brandon looking on,
and not very happy
Craig & Nancy in her hospital room, where she lovingly picks
up the picture frames of Chloe as a baby
Chloe in her house, sitting on her stairs, crying
Brady, holding vigil on the porch
Philip, looking morose, at DotCom
Jack, looking longingly at a picture of him, Jen & Abbie
Billie, sadly reading a newspaper headline - "Bo & Hope
Brady Reunited"
And back to Bo & Hope dancing together. Jen & Colin come
out on the floor, with Colin giving Bo the evil eye. Bo has eyes
for no one but his Fancy Face, and as the song ends (it sure is a
beautiful one, and Kelly sings it so poignantly) Bo dips Hope (love
that) and they kiss. Applause, Applause from the seated patrons
..and from this viewer. And the credits roll.
