Summary:
Rex and Cassie go for a drive (into a tree)...Marlena and John learn a bit from Tony about the island...Billie visites Kate...Philip and Chloe have a talk...all this while Roman zooms all over town.

At the Brady House...
Shawn is there (along with guards) as Belle arrives, worried about him. She brought her notes from class for him. They hug as she tells him that she is so sorry for him. He tells her he is waiting, but hasn't heard a word yet. About that time Bo calls and gives him an update as to what they know (we don't see Bo). After he gets off the phone, Shawn is sure the DiMeras are responsible, but Belle tries to reason with him. He tells her about going to confront Tony and she worries about the safety of the twins. She tries to call them on their private line, but gets no answer. They hear a huge crash outside and everyone goes rushing out there.

What Caused the Crash?
Earlier, over at DiMansion, Marlena is still talking with the twins and asks them about going to college and Cassie claims that Tony wants them to. John interrupts and takes Marlena out into the foyer to take a look at Tony. After they leave, Cassie and Rex can't understand why Marlena is against them going to school. Cassie wants to go and see Shawn, so she takes Tony's keys and (against Rex's better judgment) tells him that they are going to learn to drive.

The Twins Arrive...
The twins arrive at the Brady House with a bang as everyone rushes outside. They come back in and we learn that Cassie was driving and hit a tree (she says sorry, she was aiming for the driveway, LOL) The cops want to run them in, but Shawn talks them out of it as Cassie promises not to hit anything next time. They ask what Shawn's problem is and he explains about Hope and Zack. Cassie says she knows where they are. But when questioned, she says that they are where ever her mother and family is...gone. She talks about how someday they will walk through the door and they will be reunited, but Belle tells her not to get her hopes up but Cassie doesn't understand why...for Shawn is sure his mother will return. Shawn explains that he thought maybe they had seen them at the mansion and he goes into the Reader's Digest version of the baby switch and Lexie trying to take Zack. They can't believe it because Tony is so nice to them. Shawn warns them not to trust him and ask if they have noticed anything suspicious. No, but they promise to keep their eyes and ears open for him.

Over at Basic Black...
Apparently Brady is in charge as he barges into Kate's office only to find Billie there. She jumps him about his attitude and they get into it. He slams her for trying to ruin Bo's life. She gets upset and he says that she can arrest him for telling it like it is. Billie tells him that it's none of his business and informs him that Hope and Zack are missing, which he didn't know. She fills him in and tells him about the DiMeras being suspect. He apologizes for his behavior and she apologizes as well. He heads back to work as she spots Kate and Roman in the lobby. Roman has told Kate that he can't make their lunch plans and explains about Hope and Zack. (He explains that he had been upstairs at the office of Global Airlines trying to get information). He is on the phone with Bo when Billie comes out and has to rush off, promising Kate that he'll call later. Billie grills Kate about Roman as Kate asks her if SHE has a thing for him. Kate takes a call in her office as Billie has flashbacks of arguing with Roman over Bo. After Kate finishes, Billie swears that she is not attracted to Roman and that he isn't right for Kate either. Kate advises her to concentrate on her OWN social life and launches into her about her job. Billie tells her that she is upset that she can't work on the biggest case ever. Kate informs her that she knows about Hope and Zack and she feels for them, but wants to concentrate on her own family right now and she doesn't like how secretive Billie has been. Billie claims that she is NOT after Bo (like everyone thinks) and is trying to make a fresh start. Kate says she believes her (she is the ONLY one, I think) and they hug. She asks Billie not pass judgment on her either. Kate has to leave and Billie makes a call on her cell phone to some man (not sure if it is Mr. Knuckles or not). She tells him that she has nothing. She wants to go to Cedar Rapids and hook up with Bo, but he tells her no. Brady sticks his head in the door and overhears her telling the guy that she will stay put in Salem and stay clear of Bo.

Back at the Brady House...
Roman rushes in (he heard about the accident) and is introduced to the twins. He asks if Tony knows they took his car and they tell him that he was busy with John and Marlena, so they just left. Roman gets upset and rushes off (any guesses where he is headed now?) After he leaves, Cassie feels bad for Shawn and wishes she could help. Belle suggests they do what the Bradys always do in tough times...pray. Rex asks if they believe in God and Belle confirms it, saying that they must believe in someone watching over them. They all join hands as Belle offers a simple prayer that God's goodness shine down on them. Cassie asks "like the sun?" and Belle says yes, like the sun and they all smile.

At dotCom...
Philip is just finishing up work as Chloe arrives to talk. They sit as he babbles on but she stops him, telling they are not getting back together. She wants to talk about all the tension between him and Brady and how now Belle was dragged into it. She still cares about him, but Philip doesn't want to be just "friends", claiming he loves her and that will never change (oh, geez...same song, different verse). He thinks she is just confused because of all that has happened with her and that things will change. She says she and him were not meant to be but he can't accept it. He promises not to chase after her and that he trying to get his life in order. He is moving in with Lucas and taking a class at Salem U. He says he learned she was taking a class too, but not to worry, his was different. He tells her that he was going to sign up fo the same one, but Belle talked him out of it. She gets a call from Brady, but is abrupt with him. After she ends it, Philip guesses who it was. He tells her to go and meet Brady, he will be fine. But he knows that eventually they will be together. He offers her a walk home, but she declines and leaves with a worried look on her face.

Back at DiMansion...
Marlena studies Tony, telling John he is one of his states but John thinks he is faking it. Tony repeats "Marlena" and asks her to help him unlock his dreams. They go into the den as Marlena explains to John what is going on, convincing John that she should converse with him. She questions him and he says that "HE" said she could help him unlock his dreams. She asks him who...Stefano? He tells her the man in white (as he has flashbacks of being on the gurney in the white room). He tells them that the man said "you aren't the man you were". She questions him, but he has no answers as to what it means. Tony begins to get agitated as Marlena asks where the man was. Tony tells her on the island where his destiny would be fulfilled. John and Marlena exchange bewildered glances. John asks about the island, but Tony wakes up, claiming to remember nothing about what just happened. John says he knows damn well what happened. John thinks he was faking but Tony claims not to remember. John says he was covering so he wouldn't answer questions about Hope and Zack. Roman walks in and hears this and is really po'd at John. He takes John and Marlena into the foyer as Tony begins to panic. Roman chews John out for being there and accuses him of blowing the entire case. John promises to back off and stay behind the scenes from now on to find Hope AND the island. Confused, Roman asks "what island?" John explains that they learned that Tony was on an island "where his destiny would be fulfilled". He says that this may bring down the entire House of DiMera for good. In the den, Tony begins to freak out and rips open the drawer and starts digging through it, with an aerial picture of the island falling to the floor...as the credits roll.

Bo returns home with no good news, Cassie ingratiates herself w/Shawn, Lexie finds something shocking, and Hope's kidnapper is revealed.

DOT COM
Dot Com is all decorated for Halloween, as Lucas arrives to give Philip the keys to his apt. Philip thanks him & Lucas assures him he is glad to help out (still want to know where Phil is gonna sleep...is this an expandable apt.? lol) & that Billie is rarely there. Lucas talks of how their mother sent him to military school for the discipline, and says Phil is lucky to have gone to co-ed high school. LOL! Lucas then tells Philip he is sorry about what happened with Chloe, and tells him how he used to be hung up on Carrie, doing all these things to try and get her. It did not work. He advises Phil to expand his horizons, stop focusing on Chloe, and maybe go after his childhood crush, Belle. Phil explains he & Belle are just friends, and he will always love Chloe.

BELLE'S DORM ROOM
Belle's dorm room is where Chloe has stopped in before classes to catch up. Belle hangs up the phone, after checking with Shawn, and tells Chloe she wishes she could do more for him. Chloe encourages her to just be there, listen and encourages her to try and comfort him. Chloe really gives Belle a pep talk about Shawn, telling Belle how she does not dwell on her leukemia every single minute, then wants to talk about Philip. Belle tells her that Phil is no longer staying in her room (cannot believe the school allowed that to begin with) & he is moving in with Lucas. They chat a bit, with Belle saying Phil seems to be getting his act together, they are just friends, etc. (Uh, oh, too much of this sort of dialogue...is trouble ahead?) Phil comes in, on his way to class, everyone chats a couple minutes, then Belle & Philip leave. (they are taking same history class). Chloe looks in the mirror, asking herself if she is really over Philip.

AT THE BRADY HOUSE
At the Brady house, Cassie arrives (assuring the guard she came by cab this time, lol) to find a distracted and distraught Shawn. He tells her his dad is coming home any second, & he cannot deal with any problem she might have. As she assures him she just came over, cause he shouldn't be alone, Bo comes rushing in, updating Shawn on what he learned in Cedar Rapids. He wants Shawn to return to school, will have all calls transferred to his own cell phone. Shawn protests, but Bo convinces him to go. Abe comes in, and they talk of going to the DiMera house. No, Shawn cannot come; this is police business. Abe asks Cassie if she has noticed anything suspicious, but she says no, & promises to keep an eye out. Abe & Bo leave, & an upset Shawn begins to pack up his books. Cassie sees the bio-ethics book, & mentions she & Rex are in that class. Shawn wonders how she can catch up at this point, but she leafs thru the book, says how easy it seems, then talks of her photographic memory, and offers to tutor Shawn in his various subjects so he will ace his classes.

LEXIE & BRANDON
Lexie and Brandon are sitting in her car, having spent the night searching Stefano's various hideouts. Lexie cannot believe her father had anything to do with the kidnapping, claiming he would not worry her about Isaac. Brandon reminds her that if Stefano set this up before his demise, perhaps his minions are not as concerned as Stef would be. Lexie remembers one more place, and takes Brandon to the secret underground room at the mansion. All the equipment is covered with sheets, & tho Brandon suggests perhaps using this stuff to try and locate Hope and Zack, Lexie replies she has no idea how to use any of it. She gets light-headed, feels slightly faint, and Brandon hurries her outside. He convinces her to get checked out at the hospital, & says he'll drive. They get in the car; she drops the keys on the car floor, feels around for them, and as she picks them up, picks up a red wallet at same time. She is truly puzzled, as it is not hers. But as she opens it, both of them are astounded to see it belongs to Hope. Lexie realizes she is being set up.....and just then Bo & Abe arrive, telling them both to get out of the car. They all spar back & forth a bit, but Abe gets the feeling Lexie is hiding something. Brandon steps in front of her, signaling with his hand behind his back. She puts the wallet in his hand, he steps aside, hiding it in his back under his belt. Bo goes to search the car, and Abe questions Lexie. With Bo finding nothing, he & Abe go to question Tony inside the house. Lexie wonders who & why someone is trying to set her up.

THE CELL
The cell is dark, as Hope awakens on her cot, and goes to check on Zack, who is sleeping peacefully. She wonders how this could have happened, and thought they would be safe from her tormentor forever. The kidnapper enters, taunts Hope a bit about having to sedate her after her "hostility" the night before, then comes into the light, revealing himself to us as Larry Welch. He explains how his "good behavior" merited him an early release from prison, and the connections he made there enabled it to be kept secret, and mentions he has plans for Hope.
She knows he wants money, security and prestige and offers to help him achieve it. Flashback to Larry proposing to an 18 yr old Hope, who won't say yes or no...then another flashback of her deciding to accept the ring. Larry claims she really did not intend to accept, but Hope insists that at the time she did, but she was just a kid. He threatens her, and she talks of how he threatened her before, when he said he would harm Bo if she did not marry him. She knows Bo will figure it out, but Larry gleefully tells her he has chosen a fall guy, and already planted evidence. He talks of having gone to prison.....and we have another flashback of Victor making a deal with Larry to take the fall for the crime, telling him he would have 2 yrs. in an easy prison, where he can work on his golf game. In the present, Larry says, instead I got 20 years in pin stripes, but Victor probably sent me to the best place, as I learned a lot. He vows never to go again. Hope wonders why he blames her instead of Victor. He tells Hope she is a liar, a destroyer of dreams, and now it's payback time. Fade to black & white. And the credits roll.

All over Salem, it's citizens are talking of the disappearance of Hope & Zack, the Salem PD continues it's investigation, while our Jack & Jennifer banner is right on the mark! Yayyyy!.

AT DOT COM
Chloe arrives to find Brady listening to Leotyne Price singing Carmen. He offers her a listen, but she says it is too sad. She is down in the dumps, as she just sat in on her lst class at Salem U. and feels woefully behind. Brady is happy to hear that, cuz it means Chloe is back to her old self, just needing some build up of self esteem.....and proceeds to make a speech to all of dot.com about Chloe's efforts. They applaud (sorry, this scene seems so forced, and lame). Chloe tells Brady she is probably going to drive him crazy with all her little worries, but Brady replies she already is driving him crazy, and that "I love it, and I love you". Chloe is startled at that word - love - but Brady says he just loves having the old Chloe back, as she was when they met that lst summer. Cue flashback to a conversation between them at dot.com about the name calling she endured, and another of them playing basketball. They talk of Hope and Zack missing, how terrible it is for the family, and Brady encourages her to be a good friend to Shawn, just be there, listen, etc. Her cell phone rings, it is Philip asking her to meet him, and she says she'll be there.

AT DIMANSION
Abe & Bo are looking over the equipment in the underground "secret" computer room, with Tony watching. Tony claims Rolfe used this equipment, but no longer works for the family, they have not seen him in months. Abe says the lab boys are going to check what's on the computers, and Tony says fine. Bo flies off the handle, attacks Tony, wanting to know where his wife and son are and calling him a psychopath. Bo "knows" the DiMeras are responsible for Hope & Zack vanishing. Abe intervenes, but both Tony and Bo threaten each other. Abe gets Bo out of the room (so funny, when they are in corridor, the door swings shut with Tony inside, & the door becomes just part of the wall, with no handle) Abe calms Bo down, & realizing Bo has not slept in days, tells him to go home and rest.....that Abe has a plan!

IN BRANDON'S APT. Lexie is going thru Hope's wallet for the umpteenth time, trying to find a clue to her whereabouts. Brandon tells her that is useless, and reminds her someone close to her probably planted the wallet in her car. She defends Tony, but Brandon reminds her how she defended Stefano about the baby switch, and he had lied & deceived her. He asks her where she was when Hope disappeared (Jeez, he was right there when she told Bo & Abe her actions that entire day), and Lexie gets upset at the idea he even remotely thinks she might be responsible. Brandon reminds her of her previous breakdown, and that she is under a lot of stress. She passionately defends herself, when a knock at the door reveals Abe, who wants to talk to his wife alone. (Lexie had quickly hidden the wallet in her purse) Brandon blocks his way into the apt. and refuses to let him in, actually shutting the door in his face. Lexie says it is o.k., evidently hopeful that Abe called her his wife, so Brandon goes to the lobby, to give them privacy. Lexie & Abe sit on the sofa, and Abe proceeds to apologize to Lexie.

AT THE SPECTATOR
 Jen is on the phone with Iowa newspapers, happy they got the pictures she sent, and that the story will be on their front page. Colin comes in, accusing her of suspecting the DiMeras of being involved, and it is not "officially" a crime yet. Jen says yes, it is being treated as such, and gives Colin a hard time about his friendship with Tony. Colin says it is just doctor/patient and he is a Brady first, but Jen says since Tony is in remission, why not tell him to get another doctor, a specialist! Colin schmoozes Jen and finally tells her he will do just that, if that is what she wants. He kisses her, but Jen pulls back. Colin gets a call from Tony, who tells him to get over to the mansion...NOW! He leaves, & Jen remembers a conversation with Colin where he denied knowing anything about the nefarious deeds of the DiMeras.
Harold pokes his head in the door to tell Jen he still can't locate Jack, when ol Jack, looking a bit tired, walks in the door. Jen lights into him, accusing him of not knowing what has been going on the past 24 hrs. But Jack pulls out a card from Cedar Rapids, where he has been. Jen is relieved, but so upset over Hope, and leans on Jack, who is very hesitant to even touch her. Jen tells him she wants them to work on everything together from now on, and urges him to go home and get some sleep. Jack won't leave with Jen so upset. (Harold is listening outside the door, and with a smile of satisfaction, walks away) They talk about Abbie, and Jen tells him that Abbie said God will bring Hope & Zack back to them like he did JT. Jack tells Jen that all the way back from Cedar Rapids he kept thinking how he would not know what he would do if it was Jen & Abbie, then thought of all the times he had left the two of them, and apologizes. Jen apologizes right back for the things she thought about him, and how she treated him. She hugs him, in tears, and Jack is once more hesitant to touch her, but he finally has his arms around her, and as they hug, says it seems like old times. Eventually Jen lets go, looks Jack right in the eyes, just inches from his face. Jack is tentative, but leans in to kiss her, and tho it starts as a small quick kiss, it quickly turns passionate, as Jen responds. (Oooh, have I been waiting for this for ages and ages! Sigghhhhh).

BACK AT DIMANSION
Colin arrives, and Tony gripes to him about Bo. He is tired of everything being blamed on the DiMeras, is tired of being passive, and an angry Tony is going to make the town pay, he is going to take the plan to a new level. Colin informs Tony he wants out of the game, but Tony realizes it is because of Jen, and threatens Colin. He then makes him an offer, telling him to stick with him, and Tony will see to it that Colin gets the girl...promising him he CAN do it. Colin agrees. Tony says he is going to GAIN CONTROL, and the people of Salem will feel what power can do. He intends to spin a web, and they will be drawn in.

AT THE BRADY HOUSE
Bo arrives on his porch, talking to Shawn on his cell phone. He tells him to stick to the books, he will keep him informed, hangs up, then notices his front door is open. He draws his gun, but tis only Mrs. H. inside, having brought a peach pie for Bo, (So WHY was the door open?) but the guards are in kitchen eating it up. (Some protection!) Alice talks a bit, comforting Bo, and tho she doesn't have a magic wand to bring Hope back, there is magic in prayer, and that is what he should do. She leaves, and a restless Bo looks at a pic of him & Hope, hearing her voice saying she loves him. Out loud he says, I love you, too, Fancy Face.......as he tears down the Welcome Home poster. He sits on the sofa, and with tears, prays to God to bring Hope & Zack home to him. A hand reaches out and touches him on the shoulder. Startled, he asks "Hope?" as he turns his head, looking up. Fade to black & white.....and the credits roll.

Bo loses it until the calvary arrive and Jennifer's on an emotional rollercoaster of her own right now.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BELLE
Philip thinks a get together will bring Shawn‚s spirits up. Cassie and Rex arrive all dressed up and spill the „surprise‰ idea of what‚s planned. Chloe and Brady arrive. She filled Brady in on what the plans are and he tells Philip that Belle‚s against this. Chloe is introduced to Rex and Cassie. They mention her opera singing and Cassie asks if she‚s still in remission. The others are uncomfortable about her directness, but Chloe likes her directness and says she still is. Belle asks Philip why everyone showed up at the same time and he confesses to getting his first paycheck and wanted to splurge on something unselfish for once in appreciation of all everyone‚s done for him. Brady watches as Chloe takes that in. Philip tries to give Belle a birthday present without Shawn knowing about it. Brady spots it from the distance and vents to Chloe. When Shawn comments on Cassie and Rex‚s formal outfits, she blurts out about the occasion being a non-birthday party for Belle.

Shawn feels bad about not remembering and Belle hugs him, totally understanding why. He doesn‚t have a present for her, but commits to her in front of their friends, that he loves her and will never give her cause to mistrust him again. They kiss and hug as she tells him she believes him. Meem‚s is close to losing it, haha, and the others applaud. Cassie doesn‚t look happy at the lovebirds declarations. Mimi picks up a large spoon, pretending it‚s a microphone. She apologizes for her previous blunders over the years and Chloe tells her it‚s okay when they exchange looks. Mimi gives Belle a matching pinky friend‚s ring, saying she has one just like it. Belle puts it on and the matching pinkies clasp and they hug.

Brady asks if Belle can apply for her senior citizen discount now that she‚s 18. He tells her she‚s an amazing person and he loves her. Her present is back in the loft and she wants to know what it is. He confesses it‚s a digital camera for her to document her college years. Chloe takes the spoon and thanks Belle for her love and support, especially over the last year, recalling the wig incident. She hands her a bag and Belle finds a brown fuzzy beret in it. Philip takes the spoon and gives Belle the jewelry box he gave her earlier. She opens it to find a bracelet with a solid gold bell on it. The jeweler agreed to let him buy it on credit (don‚t tell his father he said). Belle is touched, but concerned about the expense. He rationalized that it‚s a special birthday.

Cassie takes the spoon and announces her and Rex‚s surprise. They‚re moving into Hartley House that day as he lugs in a satchel with their belongings. Belle and Shawn look more surprised then happy, but she perks up and announces she‚s happy about the news and hugs the twins. Brady gets Belle alone, warning her that their dad will hit the ceiling when he finds out what‚s going on! (ain‚t that the truth!!) Cassie offers to help Shawn study, whenever he wants. Chloe is envious of her photographic memory, saying it‚ll be hard to catch up with just one class so late in the semester. Shawn takes Cassie up on her offer and she asks for his books so she can read them overnight. He thanks her and offers to reciprocate the favor. Mimi can tell that Rex and Cassie are interested in Belle and Shawn and her work is cut out for her to crush out the crushes.

Brady tells Chloe that he wants Philip to stay away from Belle as he brings out a large cake with a monster candle in it for her. Mimi takes a picture of the group surrounding Belle.

ABE & LEXIE TALK
Abe apologizes to Lexie for treating her like a criminal. He explains how concerned he is for Zack and hasn‚t slept. He tells her how he woke in the middle of the night and for a split second wondered if this was all a night mare, the baby switch, etc. She admits how scared she is for Isaac too and Abe can tell she might have a clue to their disappearance. He asks what it is. She wants to trust him, but until she knows he‚s commited to them, won‚t tell him and walks out.

JACK AND JEN
The smooch fest gets a little hot and heavy in Jen‚s office until she starts thinking with her head, not her heart again. She goes into her „this isn‚t right mode‰ (NOT AGAIN) as he tries to convince her it is right for them. He demands anxiously that she has to trust he won‚t run off and hurt her and Abigail again. Holding her close to him he explains the power of love to her. She doesn‚t know her own feelings and turns as he embraces her, saying it‚s Colin Murphy that‚s in the way. She admits being attracted to Colin and she has feelings for him. She knows she can‚t shake them and doesn‚t know if she wants to. Jack looks at her, crushed, as Jen says she has to go. Colin hides around the corner as she walks out (please say she saw Colin approach).

SALEM PLACE
In a jewelry store, Colin looks at a diamond ring. Nicole spots him and asks if he‚s following her. He learns no one else refilled her pain medication prescription and figures it explains her crankiness. She lurks as he shops for rings. He leaves and Nicole enjoys trying on expensive necklaces and meanders to a mirror on the far side of the store. Colin returns and tells the clerk he‚s interested in a diamond ring and will return at a later date for it. The clerk knows her game and suggests he put 10% down (refundable of course) so that the ring can be held for him. He agrees as Nicole strolls up and taunts him about Jennifer‚s just being a tease and how she treated Brandon. He refuses to discuss Jennifer with her and turns around. She can‚t figure it out as Jennifer‚s so good and he‚s so bad. He tells her to go home and she realizes he does want Jennifer‚s respectability. She‚s worried about his going after a „recycled virgin‰. He gloats about how happy he‚ll be with Jennifer as she warns him it won‚t work.

BRADY MANOR
Outside we see the large house Bo and Hope live in (still too big for their cozy house inside I think. I know Alice didn‚t walk there earlier, so why didn‚t he see her car out front?) Almost in tears, Bo prays for Hope and Zack‚s safe return when someone‚s hand touches his shoulder. It‚s Billie. (darn, was hoping it was Isabella there to comfort him!) He collects himself and asks how she got in there. She saw the door open (think they need an automatic closer on that puppy) and was concerned about him. He loses control about not being able to go after Tony and throws the couch tables over with the collectibles on it flying. Billie stifles the raging bull and turns the pity on herself, telling him she knows what it‚s like to lose a child. He has to turn his strength on getting back into control. Later she doctors his bleeding fist as he apologizes and thanks her for talking him down. Caroline and DOUG arrive!!! Caroline brought chicken soup and Doug, almost in tears, said they have to be there for each other. Bo promises to find his daughter and embraces him as Doug said he knows they‚ll find Hope and his new little grandbaby. It seems like they just welcomed him into the family. Caroline tells him Grandpa Shawn is hanging posters around town. Doug picks up a picture of Hope and Zack with broken glass in the frame off the floor and breaks down. Bo rushes over and gently takes the picture from Doug as he cues his mom for help. She suggests they go to Salem Place and hand out posters and Doug, anxious to do something, rises to the occasion as they all leave to help. Billie tells Bo she has to make a call and pauses on the front porch alone as they all leave. She calls Larry Welch and tells him she can‚t do this anymore, she can‚t do it to Bo..as the credits roll....

Summary:
This seems to be a long show today, with so many characters on and so much going on. Sorry if I missed some of it...hard to keep up. With all the secret alliances, backstabbing and general mistrust of each other going on, this is almost like an episode of Survivor, LOL. Plus, new questions are raised about Chloe's parentage. Hmmmm.....

Over at DiMansion...
Tony is looking at pictures of the island as Bart tries to make small talk, even suggesting they watch a game on tv. But Tony is clearly not interested in hanging out with him, telling him that the enemy is at the gate. Tony admits that he has nothing to do with the kidnapping, but everyone seems to suspect him. He says that he must stop John Black and learn the secret of the Gemini Twins before John does. He says that he will go after his Achilles' Heel...Marlena (as he fondles the queen from the chess set).

Meanwhile, Over at the Penthouse...
Marlena is on the phone with Caprice. When she gets off, she tells John that Belle is fine and Rex and Cassie have now enrolled at Salem U and that they are Shawn and Belle's respective roommates. John becomes very agitated over this tidbit, especially that Belle kept the news from them (calling the twins Stefano's minions). He goes to storm out, but Marlena stops him. She volunteers to go over to DiMansion to find out what she can, but John doesn't want her out of his sight. She pleads her case, telling him that she is the only one who can legitimately get in there. He finally concedes as she promises to play it safe. He vows to come after her if she isn't back in an hour. After she is gone, he rushes off, saying he isn't going to let the twins get that close to his daughter.

At the Hartley House...
Shawn, Belle, Brady and Chloe have been helping Rex and Cassie move in. After they are finished, Belle suggests they go shopping. Shawn needs to go check in with his dad, so he passes. Chloe gets a call from Nancy, who is getting ready to have her ultrasound, so she passes as well. Brady offers her a ride to the hospital. Belle assures Brady that she will be okay with Rex and Cassie (hey, where did Mimi and Philip disappear to?)

Later, Marlena Arrives at DiMansion...
(Have I mentioned what an UGLY outfit she has on? This brown color with it zipped all the way up to her chin. Yuck). Anyway, Tony tells her of the twins' move to Salem U. He says if she doesn't like it, he suggests that she talk to Belle, since it was all her doing. Cassie and Rex (who at Salem Place discovered they only had $16 between them, go to see Tony for money) arrive. They are happy to see Marlena, but claim to be going shopping and need money. Tony whips out his credit card. LOL as Rex snatches it out of Cassie's hands and puts it away. Marlena asks them about living at Hartley House. Rex says that Shawn and Belle are good friends and soon to be much more. Marlena seems a bit disturbed by this and he says that he means that they will be classmates and roommates as well. They rush off, telling Marlena and Tony that the others are waiting for them at the mall. Tony and Marlena laugh about how they seem to be typical teens as they leave (take the money and run). Marlena assures Tony that she will continue their sessions (at the mansion) as she leaves. Once gone, he is excited that he will be seeing a lot of Marlena in the future.

At the Java Café...
Celeste and Lexie meet up as Celeste asks almost immediately 'what's wrong?' Lexie has flashbacks of finding the wallet in her car. Lexie swears that she is not involved in the kidnapping as Celeste bombards her with questions. Lexie tells Celeste of Abe's apology and how she is sure he still loves her. Celeste offers sound advice and tells her daughter that one way for Abe to trust her is to stop seeing and confiding in Brandon. Lexie is offended as Celeste lectures her. This is not music to Lexie's ears and she goes to leave. When she sticks her hand in her purse, she finds a piece of paper that she didn't put there. Once she leaves, she pulls it out to find that someone planted Hope's travel itinerary in her purse, wondering how it got there. She returns to DiMansion wondering who is trying to frame her. Tony can tell she is troubled, but she tells him she is tired and going to lie down. Alone, Tony is upset that she doesn't trust him and says it will be her downfall. He says that he must stop John Black and the best way to do that is through Marlena...but how? Later, Lexie is back in the foyer, fingering the itinerary again. She wants to tell someone about this, but no one will believe that she is innocent. She says that whoever is doing this is very smart as she looks toward the den...does she suspect Tony?

At the Hospital...
Chloe joins Craig and Nancy for the ultrasound, with Dr. Bader presiding. They all watch excitedly as she confirms that all is a-okay with the baby. She can't tell if it is a boy or a girl, but assures them that they can tell during the amnio. They talk about the miracle in their lives as all three of them hug. After Chloe leaves, Nancy begins to worry what if the marrow isn't a match. Craig tries to be positive and asks if there is ANYTHING she is holding back from him. She doesn't understand at first and assures him that other than the incident with Sykes, he is the ONLY other man she has ever been with. (Hmmm, looks like they may be heading for a "Craig is the father" twist...but he was tested and found not to be a match...or WAS he?)

At Salem Place...
Rex, Cassie, Belle and Brady are there as the twins count their money. Belle offers to pay with her credit card, but they rush home to get money from Tony (besides, they say...he's RICH). Brady and Belle talk about how John doesn't trust them OR Tony. Belle wanders off as Brady spots their dad (who is searching for Belle). Brady tells him that he thinks the twins are okay, but John doesn't think so. He rushes off as Cassie and Rex are now back, watching from a distance. Rex tells Cassie that they must be careful around Belle and Shawn. They could be taken away from them and that could ruin everything. Later, an excited Chloe is back and rejoins Brady, chattering about Craig and Nancy and the baby. Shawn is also there now (see below to see where he has been). They all share their purchases (Belle bought note books and highlighters...how exciting) but Cassie whips out a black lace teddy right there for all to see and holds it up to her, leaving Shawn and Belle both quite embarrassed, as she asks him what he thinks. Belle crams it back in the bag and explains that Shawn is her boyfriend and flirting is NOT allowed. Brady and Chloe walk up as Cassie says that she can see that they are in love with each other as well, catching them off guard.

Back to the Penthouse...
Later in the show, both John and Marlena are back home. John is still upset over the twins moving in with Belle and Shawn. Marlena reasons with him, warning him not to alienate Belle. He even suspects Caprice as working for the DiMeras for her part in this. Marlena says "Wow, do you think I am too?" trying to prove how paranoid he is being. She suggests they just drop it. She says that Cassie and Rex are just victims...as he and Hope were. She does think it is better that they are at school than with Tony. John has an idea and says that he is going to help Marlena get closer to the twins...therefore getting him closer to Tony and all his secrets.

Down at the Cop Shop...
Bo is busy pounding away on the computer, tracking down leads. He is especially looking at DiMera connections as Billie watches over his shoulder, suggesting he is on the wrong track. She suggests that he look into maybe someone that has it in for HIM, perhaps someone that he put away years ago and is now out of prison. Shawn arrives and as he and Bo talk privately in Abe's office, Shawn keeps one eye on Billie. He doesn't trust her one bit and wishes she would just stay away from them. Bo assures him that Billie is NOT the bad guy here (Man, are they setting Bo up for a fall or what?) Billie gets a call from Larry, telling her to meet him on Pier 51. Billie thinks she has to stop this NOW, no matter what the cost. Later, Bo comes across something in the files and rushes off.

Larry gets off the phone and says that it's too late for Bille to back out now. In the cell, Hope and Zack sit in the floor and eat pretzels as she worries about their future. He watches them as Hope wishes Larry would at least let Zack go and she wouldn't worry so much about him. Larry loads his gun and rushes off to meet with Billie. He says if she (Billie) crosses him, Hope and her "brat" won't be the only ones to never see Bo again. Billie and Larry meet at the pier and he is mad at her as she tells him that she wants out and can't go on with this. He tells her that she is in too deep and WILL continue or else. A scared Billie finally sees it his way as he tells her to just tough it out and leaves. Billie returns to the station and is holding a paper as Bo comes in and catches her asking what she is doing with Hope's travel itinerary. Larry returns to the cell and watches Hope and Zack. As they lie down on the bed in the dark cell, he says "Cherish the brat while you can Hope...he isn't going to be with you much longer"...and the credits roll.
