Tape Date: 11/19/01
Director: Herb Stein
Some of Salem's couples come clean with each other as Barb tells
Glen the whole truth about who has his son...and Lexie tells Abe
(who is getting a clue) a partial truth. Peter Reckell and
Kristian Alfonso (Bo & Hope) continue with another pair of
POWERFUL performances...as trouble looms in the distance for
Shawn and Belle.
Shawn & Belle
There is a replay of the snowman scene for Shawn and Belle as
they kiss in the falling snow. She tells him that telling her
that he loves her is the best Christmas gift he could ever give
her. He pulls off his class ring and gives it to her and asks her
to wear it, which thrills Belle. They talk about how they feel as
he tries it on her fingers, finally fitting her thumb. They get
back in the truck and kiss some more as they talk about the
future. She talks about his old truck pointing out that Bo
probably brought Hope to this same spot in this truck (LOL Shawn
would rather NOT think about that). They talk about how much his
folks love each other. They promise to always be friends above
all else and then kiss some more.
Over At DiMansion
Lexie is having a restless night, up pacing the bedroom floor as
Abe sleeps (or is he?) Through the window, she sees Rolf arrive
and takes off to greet him. Abe opens his eyes and follows after
her. In the den, Rolf explains what happened and promises her
that by tomorrow, all of her problems will be over. Abe walks in
and tells her that maybe she should explain. A startled Lexie
tries to cover, but Abe isn't buying it and wants answers. She
'fesses up to at least part of it, telling him that Barb is
blackmailing her because she thinks that Lexie and Stefano blew
up the East Side Lab to hide the DNA results of Isaac. Abe asks
her if she is guilty of that as Lexie acts hurt. But Abe is the
one who is truly hurt and rants at how he never believed that she
had anything to do with that incident and even defended her to
others. He says that there is evil in this house and he is
looking at it right now. Lexie starts defending herself again,
talking about how disappointed she is in him and that he is wrong.
Later, she is in the bedroom pacing again. Abe comes upstairs to
talk, but the bedroom door is locked. Rolf follows and asks if he
wants him to get a key. Abe spits at him to just STAY AWAY.
Inside, Lexie says that from now on, Abe will play by HER rules.
At University Hospital
Glen isn't all that surprised to hear the news about the baby. He
wakes Barb up to question her further, but she starts talking
about THEIR baby. He wants to know where his son is and she tells
him the truth the whole truth. She tells him that Bo and Hope
Brady have him JT is his son. Barb explains in detail what
happened and about the DNA test they had done when they had JT.
She tells him that the test proved that JT is his son. She tells
him that upon returning to Salem, Lexie all but admitted it to
her. She starts crying, apologizing to him for keeping it from
him, but he goes to leave, to get his son back. She stops him,
telling him that she has a plan.
At The Brady House
There is a replay of the scene outside, as John and Marlena leave.
Marlena's heart goes out to Bo, remembering how she felt when she
learned the news herself. Hope goes to put JT to bed as Bo stares
at his picture and has flashbacks of happier times. Hope watches
him from the stairway. She thanks him for coming home and begins
to apologize to him. When he finally speaks, he is very bitter
with her and says that everything they ever had ended tonight. He
is angry that all she did was lie to him all along and puts the
blame squarely on her shoulders. She tells him that it will never
happen again John made sure of that. This seems to infuriate him
even further and she asks if he is leaving her. He admits that he
does feel like walking out the door and never looking back and
says he feels like he could never trust her again as he goes out
on the front porch. (There is a LOT of stuff here and if you are
a Bo & Hope fan, you need to see it. Another day of POWERFUL
performances from Peter and Kristian). She joins him as they talk
about their relationship and she says that she put all her faith
and trust in him and talks about how bad situations can turn
around. He is really upset about her lying to him all along and
asks who all else knows about this and is laughing behind his
back. She finally admits that Lexie knows as well, leaving him
even more upset. He rakes her over the coals pretty good here and
she admits she is afraid he will never forgive her. He says that
he fell in love with JT not because of who the father was or was
not but because part of him was from Hope. He swears he has loved
JT as his own, but afraid that after tonight, it may not be so
easy. (Geez, Bo is really hurting here). He storms past her and
goes upstairs, leaving her crying in the doorway. Later, she is
sitting alone crying as Shawn comes in. He rushes to her, wanting
to know what is wrong. She tells him that she and Bo had a fight
and it was her fault and for him not to worry. He wants to help,
but she hugs him, telling him that time is the greatest healer of
all. Later, Shawn goes in to see JT (who is wide awake playing
with his blocks). He talks to him about Belle, saying that he
loves her. He kisses all over a chattering JT, then takes him to
his room to spend the night. Bo is in bed as a solemn Hope joins
him, sliding into bed. Without a word, he rolls over, turning his
back to her, brooding. She rolls over as well, crying.
At The Black Penthouse
John and Marlena are at home now as she makes tea. She talks
about how all this started on their honeymoon and how hard it was
for her to think she had lost John forever. They talk about lying
to their children to protect them and wonder if they could really
do that. Marlena talks about Lexie's behavior when she returned
home and thinks that maybe she had something to hide. John asks
about Barb, but they are interrupted when Belle comes in. She
asks to speak to Marlena. Taking the hint, John excuses himself
and goes upstairs. She tells her mom about Shawn telling her that
he loves her. Marlena is happy for her, but concerned. She goes
on to talk about how they feel about each other and thanks her
mom and talks about how both of them have such good examples of
parents to follow. Belle notes that Marlena seems really serious
and she attributes it to worry about Belle possibly getting hurt.
Belle tells her that she has learned that whatever happens,
people should move ahead with their lives, hope and pray that all
will work out okay. Marlena calls her wise and hopes that Belle
and Shawn are always as happy as they are tonight and they hug.
Later, Marlena is with John in their bedroom and talk about Belle.
She tells John what Belle told her and they kiss as Marlena says
that Belle needs their protection. She says that they (J&M)
have learned tough lessons the hard way and hopes that their
daughter won't have to as well.In her room, Belle is on the phone
with Mimi, excitedly telling her about her evening as she fingers
the ring. She apologizes for waking Mimi up so late and promises
that they will talk tomorrow. She goes to the window, staring out
at the snow as the credits roll.

HIGHLY
recommend you watch and tape this show. It's a definate keeper!!
Show #: 9207
Tape Date: 11/27/01
Director: Phil Sogard
A wonderful show that shouldn't be missed with the cast
reflecting on Christmas' past and a tribute to our country's
heroes and victims of September 11th.
A personal note from Linda (Barb and Laney).
A giant THANK YOU to Ken Corday and his staff for such a
wonderful Christmas present with this year's Christmas show.
Although this spoiler admits to an occasional misting of the eyes
while watching DOOL, I literally was watching this show with
tears streaming down my face (both times I've watched it). Barb
and I have watched this show since it came on the air and like
many of you, the characters have come to feel like family to us
over the years. At first I contemplated not doing a spoiler for
this episode so that you all could be as surprised and touched as
I was. I remembered, however, how many of you we hear from who
can't watch the show due to being in the armed services or
attending school outside the U.S., among other various reasons.
We are leaving the decision up to you if you want to leave the
show as a surprise or to read below. It truly is a gift for all
Days of Our Lives fans. If this heartwarming show is any
indication of future changes in the show, it will be a year round
present to all of us. The Early Edition wishes a safe, warm and
happy holiday to all of our readers throughout the world. A
special hug to all of you who are not able to be home with your
families so that you can make the world safer for all of us who
are and to those who lost friends and family members on September
11th.
The Horton Living Room
The show starts with a flashback of 1965 when Mickey walks into
his mother's house, arms laden with Christmas presents. He came
to help his mother decorate the tree, which she had already
decorated. We blend into current time with Frances Reid and John
Clark standing in front of the fireplace as they dedicate a very
special Christmas show to the magic of Christmas and power of
memories. The old hourglass greeting is morphed into the current
one as the show opens with the Horton clan gathered in Alice's
living room. Peter and Kristian introduce themselves along with
Deidre and Drake. D & D kid around and flash back to when he
gave her the charm bracelet with the couch on it and holding baby
Brady.Kristian and Peter take over and remember their first
Christmas together (when she had a piece of mistletoe she had
taken from a party) as they kiss. Peter tells Kristian how cute
she was and how beautiful she is as she's caught speechless,
which makes him laugh as that's not a common occurrence.
Flashbacks of their wedding last year and Peter reflects how long
it took to film it. Kristian wonders where Jason is as she holds
his tree ornament and Peter reminds her that Jason is an actor,
LOL.Missy and Matthew talk to us next about their characters, Jen
and Jack. They tease each other how he and his character are
alike and a flashback of Jack and Jen in their ho ho ho mode ;-)
One flashback of Jack crashing into the Christmas tree with a
black ski cap on as Jen kisses him and then punches him in the
eye. Another one has Jack in his santa suit as he comes down the
chimney and proposes to Jennifer which blends into their wedding
ceremony. In the flashback Jen mentions a character named Hawk. (Hawk
was a young guy, (played by J. Eddie Peck) a con man, who along
with his con artist Dad, bilked Jack out of all of his
inheritance and his money. (a get rich scheme gone awry) Susan,
Bill, John and Suzanne have their own flashbacks of Maggie on
crutches as she hugs Mickey (who thought he was someone named
Marty at the time being he had amnesia). John and Suzanne kiss
with the memory and when someone asks who "Marty" was,
they laugh and Julie explains it's like the Hawk character, but
they actually liked the Marty storyline, LOL. Matt jokes how Jack
and Julie don't get along on the show, but had Jack known Julie
from yesteryear, he would have thought her ..Kristian says "hot".
Jack said he was going to say "interesting"..but Susan
says she prefers..and Kristian joins her in saying "hot"
as they laugh. Susan tells Kristian how much the character of
Hope has meant to them (her and Bill). They reflect back how
Julie reminded Doug it was Hope's first Christmas when he was
depressed. Julie came to Alice's and found Doug and baby Hope
there. (Julie was married to someone else at that time on the
show). They comment it's hard to top that story, but Frances
reminds them about when Tom read the Christmas Story to the
children at the hospital it blends into Alice reading it in
recent years. Frances remembers the first time the story was told
on the show as Tom (and their daughter Marie) are standing next
to the tree as he tells her they are on this earth to serve God
and their fellow man.Missy accidentally calls Frances "gram"
and they laugh and talk about how much Days of Our Lives
represents family. Suzanne reflects when she first felt part of
the Horton family. Julie thinks she knows when that was, her
first time when Peter interrupts asking for some decorum (LOL).
They continue with the first time Maggie hung an ornament. They
comment on how many years the annual ornament hanging has been
going on and how many years they've been on the show. Bill
mentions he and Susan have been on 30+ years and John and France
even longer (since day 1) as Frances recommends they roll that
footage of yesteryear. We see Laura and Bill helping Tom and Alice
as they go through the personalized ornaments of the family
members. Alice gets sentimental as Tom kisses her. Back to
present time, the cast talks about how much they miss MacDonald
Carey and how this year has been hard on everyone. They hope that
their family on Days of Our Lives has helped people this year.
Peter comments about his character being a police officer. They
comment about they wanted to start a new tradition this year and
bring out a red, white and blue box of ornaments. Each couple
takes turns hanging ornaments with the NYPD, NYFD, EMT, Father
Mychal Judge and one with just the U.S. flag on it.
At DotCom
Kyle, Kristen, Jason and Nadia are at dotCom. Nadia wonders why
they all aren't at the party and the other 3 tell them her they
don't have the amazing flashback material the rest of the family
at the house have. They remember some of their own, more current
flashbacks..including Belle hitting Brady with her scooter and
his getting feeling in his legs last year. They'd all like to
have some wonderful Christmas flashbacks, like Christmas 2001 as
an example. Belle lets us into a secret that there will be some
surprises ahead.Later, the group is joined by Jay as they walk up
to the Horton house. Kristin tells Jason that as the clock
strikes, they're all going to turn into their characters and the
show will be magically be about how their characters would want
the show to be in a perfect world. The clock strikes and "Shawn"
kisses Belle after telling her he loves her and they go inside.
Inside Bo and Hope kiss, as do John and Marlena. Jack tells Jen
that she loves him and she agrees, saying someone's gotta love
him as they kiss, haha. Mickey and Maggie each kiss Alice and
then kiss themselves.Outside Chloe's torn about something and
Brady tells Philip to give them a minute alone. Philip asks Chloe
if that's what she wants and she nods. Brady tells Chloe they're
suppose to sing at the Horton's and tells her she can do it as
they launch into a beautiful duo of Silent Night. Instead
of attacking her singing, Brady tells her that she sung like an
angel as the snow starts falling. We return inside with a tree
full of ornaments, many of those are red, white and blue
ornaments with names representing some of those lost on 9/11
along with the Horton clans. They notice someone's is missing and
hand Alice hers. Mickey helps her hang it (next to Tom's) as the
cast members group in their family units and Philip and Chloe
stand in the background arm in arm as they sing next to the tree.
The show closes with Alice's granddaughters all taking turns
kissing her on the cheek.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
TO EVERYONE FROM MARIA AND DONNA
Bo and Hope fans won't want to miss this show dedicated to them
and their love for each other.
Show #: 9208
Tape Date: 11/27/01
Director: Herb Stein
Another wonderful show for Bo and Hope fans as the couple wakes
up the following morning remembering happier times in the past
along with their current situation.
Shawn wakes up to find JT sitting up on his side of the bed. He
tells him how they have the best parents in the world. Bo and
Hope are still both wide awake with their backs to each other. A
flashback of a happier time in bed is shown before Hope touches
Bo's back and he pretends to still be asleep. Tears roll down her
face as she remembers his reaction to the news about John being
JT's father. She softly asks him if he really believes things can
never be the same.
Bo rolls over and lies looking at her with an angry look still in
his eyes before he gets out of bed. She tells him she knows she
should have told him the truth, but he walks out of the room
speechless. A flashback of Bo promising to be a good father to JT
while Hope was having JT and marrying her in the hospital. She
remembers when Bo told her he was going to Ireland after learning
JT was sick and his promise to not miss the christening..(which
he did miss and she remembers John holding JT during it).
A much older flashback of when Hope was a cop and they snuggled
in the movie theater. While Bo prepares to brush his teeth, he
remembers when he first met Hope. He gave her his motorcycle
helmet and gives her a ride home. Next, he remembers handing her
24 tickets he bought for her kissing booth she was running in the
park (ahh, remember the days when they did those things?) She
wouldn't accept his one kiss on the forehead and saying she
wasn't ready for any more and showed him how ready she was ;-)
More scenes from their younger southern adventure, concluding
with footage from their first wedding in England as she promises
to be his woman forever. Back to present he tells himself that
who knew forever would end last night. Twisting his wedding ring
he remembers their first wedding, giving her his baby spoon when
she was pregnant with Shawn and when Shawn was born. Some classic
footage of when he took Hope and baby Shawn to the pier and they
found the first Fancy Face and set sail for their adventure. Bo
remembers when he came to have her sign the divorce papers and
her crying, warning him that their bond would be broken forever
and no going back. He said that's what he wanted.
Bo drops his pajama bottoms and gets in the shower (don't miss
THIS shot gals ;-) Hope looks at her anniversary card to Bo
remembering previous anniversaries when he gave he a diamond
pendant he had put in a clam shell and had her open and when he
gave her a new tookie (sp) bear. Hope also remembers when Bo
wanted a divorce and how she told him it would never be over and
that they love each other as she takes him into her arms. She
walks in the bathroom and sees him in the shower through the
frosted shower door and drops her pj's to join him in it (sorry
guys, not as revealing a shot as Bo's dropping his bottoms). She
hugs Bo from behind as we see a flashback of her stripping out of
her clothes and them in the outside shower together on Smith
Island. In present time, she tells him how sorry she is and goes
to kiss him, but he is still very angry and says he can't do this
and walks out of the shower.
Hope breaks down and slides to the floor in the shower. Now
dressed in their bedroom, Bo listens at the bathroom door for
Hope and then sees the anniversary card she gave him. He
remembers them on the Fancy Face in bed, when he gave her the
infamous music box that plays their song Tonight, I Celebrate
my Love for You as Bo feels that love will never be again.
Hope gets out of the bathroom to find Bo gone and while she
cries, we see a collage of classic Bo and Hope footage of them..in
the south, after their wedding, when he kidnapped her from her
wedding to Larry Welch (aha, you old timers remember that?), etc.
up to present time. Bo goes into JT's empty room and remembers
telling Hope how close he was to walking out on her and never
being able to trust her again the night before. Shawn and JT are
now dressed and in their dapper baseball caps. They head down to
breakfast and run into Bo in the hall. Shawn kids he and JT were
only up til 2 or 3 am (ha, we know Chloe and Brady were eating
BLT's later than that and you and Belle were kissing by the
snowman around 3 am). Shawn takes JT down for pancakes and Bo
returns to his room for his badge.
He tells Hope that he may have to work some OT and would call if
he'll even be home that night. She stops him and tells him she
loves him and can't imagine her life without him and all they
have to look forward to together like Shawn's graduation from
high school, JT's first day at school, grandchildren, etc. He
finally admits still loving her, but that's all he'll say before
leaving. Shawn, with JT in his arms, runs into Bo in the hallway
upstairs. Shawn offers to make pancakes for him and Hope, but Bo
says he has a stack of work at the office (I'll say, when was the
last time you worked Brady?). A crying Hope watches from their
bedroom door as Bo hugs Shawn and JT and tells them they mean the
world to him and to always remember that. Shawn asks if
everything's ok, and Bo hugs them again (as little JT's saying
Dada) and tells them how much he loves them.

Tape Date: 11/28/01
Director: Herb Stein
The aftermath of the revelation at Lexie's party continues to
reverberate all over Salem as it's residents wrestle with truth
and lies. Reckell & Alfonzo continue to shine!
At Salem Hospital
Barb is packing up, ready to leave when Glen walks in. He has
a plan to get his son back, but Barb talks money. They argue
about taking money from Lexie, as Barb feels the baby switch is
going to come out, so they should first get the money from Lexie......then
tell about the switch so they can get JT. Glen disagrees, wanting
no money. Barb talks about how much a sick child will cost them,
and then they are having their own baby, he has lost his job, he
could open his own auto shop, have nice house, etc. Glen says no,
and tells her he has hired an attorney....Cameron Reese....who
arrives. Barb has a fit at how they will even begin to pay Reese,
but she assures them that tho the court fight will probably be
long and nasty......Glen WILL get his son back.
Over At DiMansion
Lexie is fingering the chess set (LOL, DiMera to the core)
and arguing with Rolf, who assures her he is taking care of it.
Abe overhears as he walks in, demanding to know what they are
talking about. Rolf mumbles about running errands and leaves. (Boy
that place is all cleaned up, no trace of the party.....we all
should be so lucky). Abe wants the truth, but Lexie lies again
about the blackmail. Abe isn't buying it, saying what proof would
Barb have that Stef blew up the lab. Lexie caves, promises to
tell him everything....then says Barb & Glen found out John
is father of JT, and thinking the Carvers have money, living as
they do in that house, wanted money from Lexie to keep quiet. (AND
as wealthy as John Black is.....Barb would not try and get money
from him, huh?) Abe is shocked at the news, Lexie says she just
found out a few days ago, and Bo just found out last night.....that
is what the uproar was all about. Abe is all ready to swear out a
warrant for the Reibers' arrest, but Lexie talks him out of it,
saying the info about JT's parentage would all come out. She
convinces Abe that since Bo knows now, there is no point to the
blackmail, and the Reibers will slink off into the sunset. Abe
reluctantly agrees to drop the idea for now. Lexie spots Rolf
lurking, and asks Abe to check on Isaac. Rolf says Stef wasn't
happy, but has agreed to wire the Two Million.
At Austin's Apartment
Sami is fondly looking at a sleeping Austin, and remembering
him proposing. Austin groggily awakens, has a fit at the time,
and admonishes Sami for letting him go back to sleep after their
morning roll in the hay. (Hey, Sami, who is keeping an eye on
Will....remember that boy you could not wait to have full time???)
He is late for work (after promising Nicole it would never happen
again....lol) and Sami apologizes as he rushes into the shower.
The phone rings, and Sami answers, being very sweet to Nicole on
the other end. Austin comes out, towel draped, making excuses to
Nik, who shushes him, and tells him that the stock he had
recommended has split and Titan has made a killing. He promises
to be right there. Sami goes back across the hall to her apt. (Well,
where IS Will....alone in Sami's apt?....)
At Titan
Vic comes out of his office, asking Marie if Nicole has seen
the article in the paper.....when the phone call he was expecting
comes thru. He returns to his office to take it. Nicole is
looking at the engagement pic of Sami & Austin in the paper,
and not too happy about it. Austin comes rushing in, all
apologetic for being late, but Nicole is too happy about the
stock splitting, and asks what they should do now. Austin
suggests selling the stock, and putting the money into 2 smaller
companies he has been researching. Victor comes in, with the news
article, and Nicole gives Austin the credit. Victor tells her he
just heard from Carl Lizst of Permalash...and Nik tells Austin if
they can get Permalash, and make it part of Wilhemina they will
make a fortune on it. Victors informs her that Basic Black is
after it, too, and you know who is responsible for that. Austin
is lost here, and Nicole tells him Kate is working there, much to
Austin's surprise. (Gee, if Kate is working, why does she still
need money from Vic?) Victor leaves, as Nicole gives Austin a
hard time for not telling her about his engagement himself, as
she had to read it in the paper. She congratulates him anyway,
telling him that tho she is not a fan of Sami's, she wants Austin
to be happy, giving him a hug, while smirking over his shoulder.
(Oh, our naughty Nik has a plan, all right!) They talk about
Permalash, and agree to work late that night on it...as Austin
goes to do research on it. Victor comes back in, asking Nik to
dinner, but she has to work late. He's not too happy, but says he
will see her at home. As he leaves her office, he hears Austin
asking Marie to stay late and wonders to himself what is going on
(nothing yet, Victor...but just wait.....lol).
At The Brady Home
Marlena arrives at Hope's invitation, & Hope pours out
her unhappiness at how Bo is acting, the silent treatment and
worried she is. Marlena tries to comfort her, but tells her she
knows from personal experience how Bo is feeling. She tells Hope
to call Bo....just to keep communication lines open. Hope calls,
tells Bo she loves him, but Bo is very angry over the lies, and
is very cold, telling her he won't be home tonight. As Hope hangs
up, JT cries, and she picks him up, saying Bo loves JT so much,
he won't leave because of him. Marlena tells her to always
remember that love heals...and it make take time, but love always
heals whatever life deals you.
At The Cop Shop
Bo is snapping at everyone in sight, reaming out a fellow cop
for some minor problem. Roman (hey, good to see him again!!!)
wants to talk to him in the office, but Bo belligerently refuses.
Roman threatens to send him home, so Bo agrees at last. He tells
Roman only that he has lost his trust in Hope, and Roman realizes
something big is going on, but Bo won't confide in him the "what".
Roman gives him a pep talk, saying people do make mistakes, and
sometimes the most truthful person tells lies, everyone is human.
Right then, Sami barges in (ever hear of knocking, Sami?) and
wants to talk to Daddy. Tho Roman tells her he is busy (Look at
their faces, Sami) she is insistent, so he tells her he will talk
to her in the outer office. When Roman asks her what is so
important, she just starts patting her own face, flashing the
ring, and only saying she wanted to see how he was. Roman plays
dumb, as Sami goes so far as to grab Roman's hand, babbling about
a manicure for him, and he finally caves in, saying who could
miss that spotlight on her finger. He congratulates her, and
seems to be very happy for her (Yep, Roman, your conniving
daughter has at last snared your older daughter's ex-husband, be
happy for her...) Bo comes storming past them, without a word.
Roman asks if a wedding date has been set, but Sami says not yet.
(Alison Sweeney is so delicious as the gal we love to hate....so
please folks, am not picking on her..) At the coffee machine, Bo
remembers the scene at the party when he realized John was JT's
biological father, and that Hope (plus John & Marlena) had
lied to him for months about it. (In this flashback, John has no
band-aid over his eye....very odd). Bo says aloud "Gotta go
talk to Hope - put an end to this once and for all", as he
grabs his jacket and leaves. Fadeout....and the credits roll.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2001
Show #: 9210
Tape Date: 11/29/01
Director: Randy J. Robbins
John, Marlena & Brady make a decision concerning Belle...Austin
invites Kate to the wedding...Sami and Nicole have a chat...and
Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso continue to shine as Hope
throws Bo's past in his face!
Sami and Roman
continue their visit at the cop shop. She is chattering on and on
about the wedding plans and he is happy for her. She is flipping
through a magazine looking at dresses and tuxedoes, etc. She
talks about how much Will loves and looks up to Austin and Roman
reminds her that he and Marlena aren't the ONLY grandparents that
Will has. He tells her that she must include Kate in Will's life
as well. She flatly refuses, telling him that in her eyes Kate
does not exist. He tells her that she is just as to blame for all
the trouble as Kate is. She accuses him of taking Kate's side and
tells him he must choose either her or Kate.
Over At Titan
Nicole and Austin are talking shop about the Permalash account.
She tells him that Victor really wants that account and they go
over the research. Austin suggests that maybe Nicole/Titan isn't
passionate enough for Carl (the inventor) and informs her that he
really likes Kate. Nicole decides that Austin is their secret
weapon in the deal and tells him to make sure that Kate doesn't
get this account for Basic Black. She invites him to lunch, but
he tells her that he has something to take care of and leaves.
Later, Sami shows up looking for Austin. She and Nicole get into
it as Nicole invites her into her office. Once inside, Nicole
belittles her over her job and sarcastically reads the engagement
announcement in the paper. She asks Sami what kind of "God-awful
outfit she will try and squeeze herself into". She goes on
to describe the outfit she thinks Sami will wear purple spandex
with sequins cut down to there. (as she makes a sweeping gesture
across her breasts). (LOL) Sami warns her to stop trying to pick
a fight and Nicole calls Sami a lost puppy that follows Austin
around licking his feet. Nicole tells her that she gives women a
bad name. Sami comes back about Nicole and Victor. Nicole brings
up Kate and informs Sami that Austin loves his mother and that
there is no way in HELL that Kate is going to let this wedding
happen. She slams the door as Sami storms out. Nicole chuckles,
saying "that felt good, I should do it more often!"
Earlier, Kate was on the phone with John talking about Basic
Black. He tells her that if she can land the Permalash account,
she has a job. Later, she is on the phone with Carl (check out
those HUGE hoop earrings she has on) making nice with him. After
she gets off the phone, she pats herself on the back, saying that
she still has it. She vows to steal this account from Victor then
take Philip away from his as well. Austin shows up as she talks
about how great her life was going until she saw this and pulls
out the paper. He apologizes for not telling her about the
engagement and proceeds to invite her to the wedding. She tells
him that there is no chance in Hell she would go. He says that he
loves her and needs her in his life. She tells him that he has a
good heart and feels that Sami will take advantage of him again.
He vows that Sami has changed (heard that one before) but Kate
does not believe it. He says that Sami loves him and makes him
happy. Kate points out that Carrie loved him and made him happy
as well. OUCH that cuts Austin like a knife and he gets angry
with her. She tells him to leave and that she will NEVER forgive
Sami for all the things she has done. If he marries her, he will
be sorry. After Austin leaves, Roman calls (Kate answers the
phone with a "What the hell do you want?") He asks if
he can come over they need to talk. She tells him to give her 15
minutes.
At The Penthouse
After John gets off the phone with Kate, Marlena comes in the
door (from Hope's) upset. They talk about the Bo and Hope
troubles as Brady overhears from upstairs. He comes down and
reveals that he and Chloe overheard everything at the party and
that Belle doesn't know. He is sure that Belle will find out
eventually. Marlena is so worried about how she will react. Brady
is really upset with his father and wants to know what happened
comparing it all to an episode of "Peyton Place". John
tries to explain without going into detail, saying that there are
a lot of things about him that Brady doesn't know, but says that
Stefano DiMera is responsible and that he and Hope were victims.
John swears that there is nothing going on between him and Hope
now. Brady demands answers, but John refuses to give more. Brady
doesn't cut him any slack as Marlena just watches and listens,
taking it all in. Brady isn't sure just HOW Belle will react to
the news saying that she worships him (John) and adores Shawn. He
is sure this will turn her world upside down. He is sure that she
will find out eventually and when she does they will have to help
her through it. He thinks that Belle should hear it from them
rather than someone else, but says it is their decision. Marlena
tends to agree with Brady and assures him that Belle will be okay.
She hugs Brady and tells him that she loves him. (huge smile from
Brady). John says that their love as a family is what will get
them through it. John goes to call Bo and Hope and let them know
what they have decided. But Marlena isn't sure that they are
ready to deal with this just yet.
Over At The Brady House
Hope is in the floor playing with JT (having flashbacks of an
angry Bo) when JT yells "Dada" (is that cute and right
on cue or what?) and we see Bo has entered the house. He becomes
fussy (JT that is) and Bo takes him up for his nap. When he
returns, Hope thanks him for coming home as he gives her a steely
stare. He explains that he was mad, disappointed and angry and
for her to expect a LOT of that from him. He goes on to chew on
her pretty good about her constant lies. She tells him to go
ahead and let her have it just don't leave. She tells him to take
as much time as he needs, but he tells her that things will never
be the same for them. He admits he loves her, but he does not
trust her when he looks in her face. "Fancy Face" she
reminds him, but he says that was from another time, when he
trusted her. He continues to say hurtful things which is like a
knife through her heart. She tells him that she was selfish,
thinking she was protecting him, but actually she was protecting
herself, thinking that in time all of this would fade. She talks
about how the time allowed him to fall in love with JT and about
the guilt that she has lived with daily over something she had no
control over. She says that she barely remembers being with John,
and not because she wants to. Bo says that everytime he sees her,
she sees her with John and he just can't get past that. She tells
him that the bright spot is that despite what happened, she was
not turned back into Princess Gina. He continues to slam her,
until she has reached her limit. She tells him that she has one
word for him BILLIE! (I was wondering when that was going to come
up). He says that wasn't the same. She agrees, saying that what
he did with Billie Reed was worse and calls him a hypocrite. She
talks about how she forgave him when things didn't work out with
Billie and prays that he can forgive her now. He begins to yell
at her and wakes up JT in the process. Hope says that JT is only
a child who loves Bo and needs him as does she. She goes to get
him and hopes that Bo will be there when she returns. The phone
rings and it's John, telling Bo that they need to talk. Bo spits
that if and when he needs to talk to John, he will let him know
and slams down the phone on him. (bet John's ears are ringing).
He then picks up the phone and throws it across the room and the
credits roll.
