MONDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2001
In the Cellar
There is a replay of Shawn and Belle getting trapped in the
secret corridor. Lights come on inside as Shawn and Belle aren't too
worried about being trapped. Outside the door, Choe IS worried about
them as she and Brady try the button to reopen the door, but it
doesn't work. Brady explains that Stefano must've had it rigged as a
escape route. Brady tells her not to worry as he is sure that Belle
and Shawn are in no hurry to get out. They are inside kissing and
discussing their relationship. Shawn tells her that he is crazy about
her. Brady looks around the cellar and talks about how Stefano may be
evil, but sure has style, talking about how it all looks so medieval.
He says that he feels like a knight as she laughs and calls him Sir
Lancelot. He says that she would make a "passable Guinevere". Brady
explains that Guinevere was in love with 2 men and had to give one
up. He talks bout how she is so right for the part and says that he
can hear her heart from across the room. He moves closer and puts his
ear to her chest, making her clearly uncomfortable. She changes the
subject and talks about getting Shawn and Belle out. They realize
that they will be busted for snooping, but Brady decides they should
go and get his fatherHE will know what to do. Back inside, Belle is a
bit disappointed to learn that she isn't the most important person in
Shawn's life, until he goes on to explain that spot is filled by JT.
As the talks about his little brother, Belle calls him sweet and says
that he is so different from most guyssensitive and caring to love
his brother so much. After kissing a while, they decide maybe they
should find a way out. Belle hopes this feeling can last
forever.
Back at the Party
Sami and Austin talk about how she upstaged the party. Marlena is
worried because Hope and John are missing. Alice is getting ready to
leave (past her bedtime, I guess) and informs Jen that she has called
a cab. Rolf tells Lexie to go and find Bo, but Lexie is a nervous
wreck because Barb is still putting the squeeze on her for money.
Everyone else begins to miss Hope as Lexie goes to find them. But
before she can get up the stairs, Abe stops her and convinces her to
rejoin the party. In her earpiece, Rolf assures her that everything
was successful. Once back with the party, Lexie begins dropping
obvious hints for everyone to leave (like constant yawninghow RUDE).
Barb gets hold of her again and threatens to expose her. Lexie begs
Barb to give her a break, but she is relentless. Rolf comments that
he needs to silence herpermanently. Jen interrupts them to tell Lexie
goodnight. Since Jen came with Bo and Hope (and they can't be found)
Mickey offers to drop her off at home and she accepts. Julie tells
Lexie she would like some cake to take home, but Lexie is a bit rude
and tells her that it has been put away and she will send her some
tomorrow. Lexie is in a hurry to rush everyone out as PopShawn
suggests a nightcap. Marlena tells Lexie she thought she heard noises
upstairs, but Lexie poo-poo's the idea. Lexie abruptly tells everyone
the party is over. Sami looks for another drink as Lexie practically
shoves everyone out the door. Barb goes for her coat, but tells the
guard she needs to use the little girl's room and disappears. The
Horton clan (Mickey, Maggie, Doug, Julie and Jen) all leave, followed
by the Bradys (Shawn and Caroline) . Sami offers Marlena a ride, but
she insists on waiting for John. Marlena heads upstairs to look for
him, but Lexie stops her.
Meanwhile, Upstairs
John asks Hope to say something. In her Hope voice she says "John".
He is relived, but then she says his name again, clearly in the Gina
persona. She grabs his face and begins to kiss him, just as Bo opens
the door and sees them. John tells her "we can't do this" and a
furious Bo asks "why not?you have obviously been doing it for some
time now". He storms across the room and proceeds to jerk John of the
bed and beat the ever-loving crap out of him. As he tosses him all
over the room, wrecking it, Hope begins to have Gina flashbacks. She
yells for them to stop and the memories continue to flood her mind.
(For all that missed itthere's PLENTY of sex-on-the-sub stuff
hereGOODY). Then, she begins to have flashes of Hope's lifeBo and
Shawn rescuing her from the castle turret, telling him she was
pregnant, giving birth, etc. She remembers everything as Bo and John
continue to tear the room apart. She tries to stop them as Bo yells
"You don't want me to kill your lover?just how long has this been
going on?" Hope tries to explain that he saw "Gina" kissing John, not
her. She tries to explain, but Bo isn't buying it and is FURIOUS. He
tells them, next time, go to a hotel and that they deserve each other
and storms out, leaving Hope in tears. She panics, not knowing what
to do. A bloddy-faced John worries how Belle and Shawn will react,
learning that they share a brother.
On the Way Home
Sami talks about how Austin is the only man for her and how she has
loved him since the first time she saw him. She has a special
surprise for him when they get home. In the Horton car, they talk
about how happy Sami is (as Jen looks out the window and has some
long flashbacks of her wedding to Jack). They all talk about how
nervous, jumpy and strange Lexie was acting and about some of the
strange things that happened at the party. Julie comments that it was
almost like Lexie had another agenda. She also calls the DiMera
mansion "Castle Dracula". None of them can understand why Lexie and
Abe moved there to begin with. They also discuss how Lexie
practically threw them all out.
In the Foyer
A furious Bo comes storming down the staircase. Marlena wants to know
what happened, but he won't say a word, he is just in a hurry to get
out of there. In the basement, Rolf says "very interesting", which
leads Bart into a dissertation about his all time favorite show
"Laugh-In". As they watch the monitors, Rolf says it just keeps
getting better and better. Marlena tries to get Bo to tell her what
happened and he says that he caught his wife in bed with HER husband.
Brady and Chloe have entered the other room and overhear this.
Marlena is shocked, but Rolf and Bart celebrate. Hope and John come
tearing down the stairs, trying to explain, but Bo won't even look at
her. Lexie plays dumb as Hope all but accuses her of being
responsible. Hope begs Bo to believe her and swears that she is Hope
and that he is the only many she loves or ever will. Marlena believes
them and tells Bo that she KNOWS that John loves her. Barb comes
around the corner and sees all that is going on. To herself, she
comments "Holey schmoleygo to the can and miss ALL the action".
Through clenched teeth, Bo tells Hope that he WANTS to believe her,
but knows she has been hiding something all along. He wants her to be
honestwhat secret has she been hiding from him? Barb interrupts and
tells them all that she doesn't know about Hope, but there is someone
in this room that is lying to EVERYONE as Lexie begins to panicand
the credits roll.

Peter Reckell continues to
shine with another excellent performance of someone's who's both hurt
and feeling betrayed, Barb goes from being a pain in the butt to
getting one, and Belle and Shawn's latest adventure although a
shorter one, has probably has as many kisses as on the island, haha.
Shawn and Belle kiss in the secret passageway, wanting this feeling
to last forever. Although enjoying the privacy, she hopes Brady is
getting help to get them out of there. They wander around and find a
flashlight. He suggests they race for the exit and she slips with her
heels and falls on the floor. Shawn takes her shoe off and massages
her foot as they talk about their favorite topic, Chloe and Brady.
(don't these kids talk about music, movies, tv shows, teachers,
etc.?) They wander further into the tunnel and find some stairs going
upstairs.Meanwhile, upstairs we see a replay of Barb's announcement
that someone in that room is lying. As she starts to tell them WHO
that person is, Dr. Rolf takes aim with his magic blow dart gun and
blows a knock out dart into her butt with some fast acting stuff as
she keels forward onto the ground. Rolf tells Lexie in her ear to
find the dart before anyone else does and to be careful or it'll be
night-night for her too. She finds it and Abe suggest they take Barb
to the ER and Lexie agrees. (anything to get Barb out of there I
guess) Someone asked if Barb was drunk, but Lexie tells them Barb is
pregnant and wasn't drinking (hmmm). Bo doesn't want Barb to leave
and demands answers from Lexie, but Lexie shines him off and says she
has to get Barb to the hospital. Barb mumbles babies and Lexie
reminds them that Barb is pregnant. Lexie puts the dart on the wall
outside and Rolf comes and gets it.
The Confession
Inside Bo realizes John, Marlena and Hope are all in on this secret
and insists on knowing what it is. Hope finally agrees to tell him
and makes him promise that it can't go any further (uh, Brady and
Chloe are 10 ft. away around the corner and listening intently).
Hope's worried how it would affect their children if it came out. He
won't promise until he knows what's going on. She needs him to trust
her love for him. Marlena intercedes and reminds Bo that Hope and
John have gone through their own private hell. Bo realizes what the
truth is now and is upset how Hope and John have lied repeatedly to
his face about it. He finally confronts Hope and demands to hear her
say that John is John Thomas' father. She admits John is JT's
"biological" father. She wants to put the children first and keep
this information quiet. He insists on knowing how long she's known
the truth. Marlena puts her arm around Hope and asks him to be calm
so Hope can explain. He asks Marlena if she was calm when SHE heard
her husband had fathered Hope's baby. She admits she felt what he is
right now. Hope tells Bo she loves him and he tells her she disgusts
him for lying to him and leaves. Outside he remembers telling Hope he
would have killed John if he had known he was the father of JT and
wished he had now. Hope rushes after Bo and weakly falls into John's
arms. He looks at the back of her neck and then Hope cries into
Marlena's arms, wishing she had told Bo the truth from the beginning.
John and Marlena tell Hope the best thing she can do is to give Bo
time to think this over. They assure her that Bo would never do
anything to hurt any of their children. Bo returns home and gets a
bottle of something out to drink. He remembers questioning Hope about
John and Gina and how Hope lied to him repeatedly.
Hi Ho, It's Off To The Hospital We Go
While driving to the hospital, Lexie suggests they take Barb to the
Salem Inn and let Glen decide what to do with his wife. Barb starts
mumbling about someone trying to kill her and Abe asks Lexie what's
going on? Commander Carver uses his brain and insists Lexie level
with him as he's going to talk to Barb when she wakes up. Lexie tells
Abe to shut up and drive.Abe carries Barb into the hospital and a new
doc in the ER and Nurse Brenda attend to her. Barb is more alert now
and doesn't want Lexie near her. They wheel Barb into the ER and
suggest Lexie stay out as Abe holds her back and wants answers. Lexie
remembers Rolf's having her look at the Phoenix in the necklace and
how to act like her father. She claims being shocked at Barb's
behavior and he doesn't buy it and wants the truth. He interrogates
her until she sees Rolf in the corridor. She slips away and asks Rolf
what he did to Barb and is she going to die? She takes his silence as
a yes to that question. He tells her it was only a sleeping potion,
but once Barb wakes up, Lexie's going to be in grave danger. Rolf
insists she act like a Dimera and to silence Barb. Lexie knows the $$
won't keep Barb quiet forever and Rolf whips out a lethal syringe to
use on Barb. It's either use this or lose her son forever. Inside the
ER room, Barb asks Brenda to call her husband at the Salem Inn, then
passes out. Brenda tells Abe whatever happened to Barb really knocked
her out. Abe informs her that he's posting a policeman on Barb's door
and wants to talk with her as soon as Barb wakes up.
Back To The Missing Teens
After overhearing the confession upstairs, Brady and Chloe return to
the cellar to decide what to do about both Shawn and Belle and how to
handle what they overheard upstairs. Shawn and Belle surface out in
the yard to fresh air. A kissing marathon ensues until they see Chloe
and Brady walking up to them. Brady and Chloe soberly watch, then
cover by saying all the cake's gone and the guests have left. Brady
offers to drive them home in his jeep and come back the next day for
Shawn's car, but Belle wants her coat first and heads back to the
house (hello Shawn, why haven't you given her your jacket yet, even
in the cellar??) Brady dashes after the couple assuring Chloe he'll
keep them out of the house. Before they get to the door, Belle
reminds Shawn this will be their first Christmas together as they hug
and kiss again. Trying to keep them from going inside, Brady tells B
& S that Chloe's going to make hot cocoa at her house for them
(just what time is it?). John, Marlena and Hope hear the kids coming
in the door and John rushes out of the room as Marlena and Hope try
to look normal. Belle tells them they won't believe what they went
through tonight and talk about a disaster as the credit rolls with
Hope's nervous face.

After the party, four couples
have one on one talks about their love life, or lack
thereof.
Austin's
Apartment
Sami & Austin are playing kissy
face, as they dance. Sami once more tells Austin how happy she is,
how happy Will is, what a great Christmas they are going to have.
Austin mentions how much stuff Sami has done to get to this point.
Sami bristles at this, but Austin assures her he just meant she had
her sights set on this goal since she was a teen, and it finally got
her to this place. (Only took 8 years, right?) Sami tells him he has
lots of Christmas presents, and he should open one now....meaning
her....and he slips her strap off her shoulder. Later, she comes out
in a teddy and short robe, and Austin is disappointed his gift is
wrapped again. She talks about Nicole, and that she had better keep
away from Sami's man! They play games with the silk tie of her robe,
with her tieing his hands, then untieing them, while he chases her
around the room.
At The Deveraux Home
Julie walks Jen to the door, then invites herself in, saying she will
take a taxi home later, but she thinks Jen needs to talk. (She
already whispered her plan to Doug, Mickey & Maggie). Jen brings
out the cookies and espresso, and tells Julie about going to
counseling, and how mixed up she is. They talk of Colin, and Jen's
reaction to seeing him at the party, how she is still attracted to
him, in spite of how he rejected her in Ireland; they talk about
Brandon and what a nice guy he is (sorry, I don't see any chemistry
between Jen or either of those men), and they talk of Christmas, and
how all Abby wants is her parents together as a family. They talk of
Jack and Jen's feelings for him. Jen tells her of going to
counseling, and that tho she recognizes her problems, she still does
not know how to solve them. Julie tells Jen that she and Doug have
had a rocky road to their happiness, and it took 3 weddings before
they got it right. Julie's cab arrives, and she takes her leave.
At The Blue Note
Nicole arrives, happy Brandon invited her, and they settle in at the
bar. Nik mentions Kate always coming over, needing a check, and
Brandon encourages her to find her own place, and someone her own
age! (LOL) Nik suggests they share an apartment together. She asks
after Brandon and his love life, which is rather non-existent, &
she asks about his date with Jen and whether he slept with her. (None
of your business, Nik!) He tells her she is out of line, but admits
he has not. Nik is impressed, cause knowing him, it must mean he
cares about her and is taking it slow. She knows Brandon was hurt by
Sami, & he knows she has gone thru a lot with their father, etc,
but Nik gets uptight when Brandon gives her "some sanctimonius spiel"
like Austin does. She tells him she is not going to spend Christmas
with their mother (so much for Good Will towards all), but asks
Brandon if they could be together, maybe on Christmas Eve. They agree
they will each watch out for the other one, like when they were kids,
and shake on it. At a nearby table, Jack and Greta (so this is why
they disappeared ) are having a drink, as Jack, hearing the music
playing, comments that "Jazz! It's the Muzak of my life". LOL. He
suddenly realizes they are hearing jazz, are at the Blue Note, and
looks worriedly around for Harold. Greta assures him she learned her
lesson and will not interfere in his love life any more (Hmmmm,
wasn't she just all excited at the party, thinking Jack might be
interested in Brandon?). Jack says he was so happy at the party when
Brandon left w/o saying goodbye to Jennifer. Greta asks if he heard
from Oliver Wentworth lately, wondering when they were going to
Vegas. Jack gets depressed about not having a job, but seems to think
they will hear soon. They talk of their friendship, and Greta
solemnly tells Jack, that she has been thinking that as soon as Jen
told him that Greta might be falling in love with him, Jack told her
he was gay. And that she doesn't think he is. (Gee, Greta, ya think?
And when did you get the first clue?) Jack says that he doesn't feel
gay when he is with her. (C'mon Jack, tell her already!). Jack talks
about Jen, Abbie and being happy. Jack spots Brandon at the bar,
wonders who is the sleezy blonde he is with, cause he cannot wait to
tell Jen. He convinces Greta to help him spy on the twosome, and they
both skulk around in different directions to get a good look. Jack
even tries to hide under someone's table, causing the man to get
angry, thinking Jack is trying to cop a feel on his date.
(Egads....this is so lame). Jack pretends he lost a contact, and
hurries back to Greta where they both are laughing hysterically that
the blonde pick-up w/Brandon is his sister! Jack throws money on the
table, (hmmmm, was just moaning about no job, no money, etc.) and
they run outside. They both are hysterical over her Nancy Drew act,
while he was crawling around on all fours. They laugh about how much
fun they had, with Greta remarking the last time she had such a good
time....was with him! She then asks him what he is doing
Christmas....after Abbie opens her gifts....later in the afternoon.
(yes, like he would leave his daughter on Christmas!) and he tells
her that the Horton's usually have this family tradition, where
everyone gathers.....Greta remembers the ornament hanging with all
the family.....and Jack invites her, saying that Alice would probably
rather see Greta there than him, anyway. As they turn to leave, we
hear the screech of car brakes, and Jack pulls Greta away, telling
her she must be more careful....that he can't lose her now. As they
both look at each other, fade out and the credits roll.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2001

Lexie tries to handle the
situation at the hospital, Bo and Pop have a good father/son talk and
Belle and Shawn are confused.
At Party
Central
A replay of the teens entering the house. Belle and Shawn can tell
something's wrong and figure Brady knows why as he tried to keep them
from coming inside. Marlena and Hope shine it off, saying they were
just reflecting how lucky they are. Brady excuses himself and Chloe
to leave Marlena and Hope to explain to their children what's going
on. Upstairs John cleans his face in the bathroom as he remembers
earlier events. He rummages through the drawers and finds some
bandaids in Lexie's powder room (help yourself John) and is
determined to make things right with Bo.Belle and Shawn know their
family too well to believe their mother's lame explanations. Hope
tells them Bo was tired and went home already and John and Marlena
will give her a ride home (yeah, right!). Belle wants to see her
father and he returns with his eye bandaided. He claims to have hit
his head on the sink and they remain firm that nothing's wrong. Shawn
suggests driving Belle home and tells Hope he knows his dad will be
waiting up for his mom. She figures he's probably right.Brady and
Chloe go out front to talk about the situation. Of course it wanders
off subject to Philip for a moment, but they get back on track. Chloe
feels they should tell Belle what they overheard, but Brady doesn't
feel Shawn and Belle, who've had perfect family lives (except when
their parents are being held hostage by Stefano here and there of
course) could handle it. (What's the big deal, so they share a
brother, it's not like THEY are brother and sister) Brady figures
Chloe just wants to drive her point home to Belle that life is
horrible and demands her promise to not tell Belle. If she finds out,
it's her parent's place to tell her. Belle and Shawn come out and
know something's up and can tell by Brady and Chloe's faces that they
know the truth. Chloe's quiet and Brady insists he needs some real
food and suggests they go out to eat. Belle just wants to be alone
with Shawn and they walk off. Brady's serious, he is hungry, but
Chloe wants to clear the air first.Inside Hope, Marlena and John talk
about what's happening. On the verge of tears, Hope worries that Bo
will never feel the same for her after what he just learned. Marlena
tells Hope it's not her fault, and John agrees Stefano's to blame,
but Hope doesn't figure Bo will see it that way. John gets his coat
and sets off to see Bo.
Father & Son Talk At The Pub
Bo's having more flashbacks of Hope as he continues to take it out on
the pub's furniture. Pop Shawn comes down in his robe and pj's and
almost gives Bo a whack on his head with a baseball bat (guess he
knows no one is ever working on the Salem PD and took matters into
his own hands). Shawn fixes Bo something to eat as Bo has more
flashbacks. He quickly returns with some of ma's hot chowder (that
stuff simmering all night?). Bo remembers how the chowder use to be
the magic cure all, but unfortunately it's not working now. Pop wants
to know what's wrong, but Bo remembers Hope's plea to keep this
information between them. Pop tells him how Caroline's been upset at
the tension between him and Bo over the Ireland matter. He tells his
son how he loves him and wants to protect him. Bo understands and
says it's about the only love he can count on right now. Pop tells Bo
how wrong he is and reminds him about his wife and two children. As
long as he and Hope love each other, things will turn around and
they'll cherish each other all the more. He urges Bo to go home to
Hope and Bo thanks him and agrees. An emotional hug and Bo tells his
pop he loves him and leaves.
Meanwhile, At Salem University Hospital
Barb wakes up, shaking from head to toe. Nurse Brenda and
the mystery ER doc ponder what's wrong with her as Barb fears for her
life. Abe is also pondering whatsup as Dr. Rolf privately holds up
the solution for Lexie, a lethal syringe of something to silence
loose tongues permanently. Lexie tells him she couldn't be
responsible for taking someone's life as Rolf tries to change her
mind. She'd rather pay Barb off and orders Rolf to put the syringe
away. Glen arrives looking a lot more macho then he did in his frilly
lounge lizard outfit, now wearing blue jeans, black shirt and knee
length black leather coat. He grabs Abe asking what he's doing with
his wife now and when Abe assures him she's in with the doctors,
busts into the ER and tells the doctor to stay away from his
wife!Rolf calls Bart and tells him Barb's blood sugar is out of whack
from the dart, but they'll attribute it to her pregnancy. The next
injection will be worse though (why would he call Bart to tell him
this?).Lexie returns to a confused Abe, demanding to know where Barb
is. He tells her she's in with the doctor and Glen. Abe wants answers
as Lexie tries to leave to see Barb. She denies anything's wrong as
she takes Barb's chart (she's been on maternity leave way over a year
now, but the staff all knows her and gives her access to everything?)
She sees Abe's tied up with Brenda and the doctor now and slips into
the ER. She tells Rolf that Bo and Hope have other issues on their
plate right now and won't have time to address anything else and
leaves. As Rolf overhears their plans to keep Barb overnight (and in
what room) for observation, he has his own agenda.Brenda asks Glen to
leave so they can move Barb into her room. On his way out, Glen stops
Lexie from returning to Barb's side and the two go at it (where's Abe
run off to and where's the guard Abe talked about?) about current
events. Rolf sees this behind the ER glass doors as Lexie tells Glen
to keep Barb away from her and how much $$ Barb is demanding. Glen
agrees to talk to Barb, but threatens Lexie if anything else happens
to Barb and strolls away. Rolf joins Lexie, sends her home and
promises to take care of matters there. Abe returns and a crying
Lexie falls into his arms saying her world is falling apart. Abe
wants to know why. Knowing what room Barb's going to be in, Rolf
slips into the room's closet (sure is big for a hospital closet) and
pushes the air out of the syringe as the credits roll.

Lexie begins to come unglued as Hope gets a clue and blames
her...Rolf misses his chance to off Barb...John and Bo talk with
their mouths (NOT their fists this time)...Barb begins to tell Glen
the WHOLE truth.
Over At The Wesley House
Chloe and Brady arrive. He is still hungry, but she is angry. She
won't fix him anything to eat, so he decides to do it himself. (Well,
Brady just make yourself at home). He is fixing a BLT, until she
decides he isn't doing it right, so tells him to sit down. As she
fixes his sandwich, she talks about how she was hurt by the mean
things he said to her. Nothing new here as they talk, but he does
apologize for the things he said earlier and says that he is sorry he
hurt her feelings. As he eats, they talk about Belle and Brady says
she wouldn't be able to handle the truth right now and wants to
protect her. As he gobbles down his sandwich, she forgives him for
his earlier behavior and even gets a smile from her.
Shawn & Belle
arrive somewhere (on a mountain, I think Shawn calls it their
"special place"). She is upset about their parents' behavior earlier.
Shawn suggests they build a snowman, but Belle is cold and won't get
out. She watches from the truck with a "thumbs up" as he works. He
finally coaxes her out of the truck and they kiss. They work on the
snowman and when they finish, they kiss some more. They get back in
the truck to warm up, but Shawn tells her it isn't finished yet. He
borrows her nail polish and paints a heart on the snowman that reads
"I Love You" inside. They kiss as it begins to snow harder.
Abe & Lexie
are in the car on their way home as she keeps seeing Barb's face in
the window and hearing her threats. Then she hears Rolf's plans to
kill her. When Abe asks her what is wrong, she almost jumps out of
her skin. She tries to brush him off, but he knows that she is hiding
something. She blames Barb and Glen for ruining her party and tells
him not mention their names again. She tells him that she and Glen
talked and Glen assured her that they are leaving town and sure that
they will never see them again. Abe becomes very suspicious and says
that she sounds like Stefano. She swears that she hasn't spoken to
her father but hopes to soon. She tells him that she just wants to
get home to Isaac and all will be fine.
Over At DiMansion
Marlena and Hope are still there and have mixed feelings about
letting John go after Bo. Marlena thinks it is a huge mistake, but
Hope is sure that if anyone can get to Bo, John can. Hope tells
Marlena that SOMETHING happened in this house tonight and that she
became Princes Gina. She can't explain, but for a split second, she
felt all the love and feelings that PG had for John. Hope worries and
frets about their children finding out the truth, but Marlena thinks
they are mature enough to handle it. Hope beats herself up as she
explains how she justified never telling Bo the truth. Hope is near
hysterical and crying when Abe and Lexie walk in the door. Hope darts
for her and grabs her shaking her hard, demanding to know what she
did to her. Acting hurt, Lexie turns on the waterworks. Hope tells
her that she remembers being Gina and that Lexie was responsible
somehow. Lexie continues to cry and deny it all. She vows that Hope
is her best friend and she loves her and would never hurt her. Lexie
is hysterical by now as Abe tells Hope to back off, but she doesn't.
Hope mentions JT (as Lexie offers to get him) but Hope spits at her
to STAY AWAY from her son. As Abe goes to get JT, Hope vows to find
out what happened there tonight. Then it dawns on her that there IS
one person who knows and may be able to answer all her questions Barb
Reiber. Hope believes she knows something and suggests they stop by
the hospital to talk with her. Abe returns as Hope takes JT and tells
them that they are leaving this "evil place" as she and Marlena make
their exit. On the way home, she watches JT and tells him that his
daddy loves him. Marlena assures Hope that Bo loves her as well and
she is sure that they can make it through this.After Hope and Marlena
leave, Abe questions Lexie again. Lexie blames Hope, saying that she
has some serious problems. She goes up to check on Isaac. Abe tries
to talk to her, but she heads on upstairs ignoring him.
Over At The Brady House
Bo is arriving home, to be greeted by John. Furious with him, Bo asks
if he is back for more. Bo rails at John, then goes to punch him. But
John grabs him and puts him in a choke hold and begs him to listen to
him. He tells Bo that he and Hope are not having/have never had an
affair. But Hope is in real danger and they need to protect her. Bo
takes offense to this, saying he can protect his wife and that JOHN
is the one he needs to protect her from. John tries to explain what
Bo saw, but Bo doesn't want to hear it. John tells him that he was
trying to help Hope, but somehow, she turned into Gina and blames it
all on Stefano. But, Bo is not stupid and KNOWS that it didn't just
start tonight it started a long time ago. He is most furious about
how everyone lied to him all along and kept the truth from him. John
talks about JT and Bo swears that he loves him like his own. John
asks if Bo knew from the start that JT was actually his (John's)
would Bo have still loved him. John wants Bo to understand that he
slept with Gina NOT Hope. But Bo is upset mainly because John, Hope
and Marlena all knew what was going on and kept it from him. John
asks again about JT and Bo admits that he may have not loved JT as
much. John swears that he gave up his flesh and blood so Bo could
love the child. John asks how can Bo punish them all for that. Hope,
JT and Marlena show up. Hope hugs Bo and tells him she is so glad he
is there. He asks, "where else would I be?" and they go inside.
Marlena kisses John on the cheek and suggests they go home as
well.
Meanwhile, At The Hospital
Rolf is hiding in Barb's closet waiting for his chance. He is ready
to inject her IV line when a nurse comes in and he hides back in the
closet, pulling a knife. Glen shows back up, wanting to stay the
night with Barb. He and the nurse go to find him a cot and Rolf tries
again. But Barb is lying on the IV line and he doesn't have time to
give her the injection before he hears Glen and the nurse returning
so back in the closet he goes. (Gee, wish there was SOME way we could
get rid of Barb, Glen and Rolf all at once ;-) As Glen is talking
with Barb (she is groggy now), Rolf sneaks out of the room, upset
that his chance passed. Barb cries as she claims that Glen is just
too good to her. Rolf paces the hallway trying to figure out what to
do next. Inside, Barb tells Glen that they must get their money
before leaving town (which he wants to do immediately). He tells her
to forget the money. But she cries and tells him that she has lied to
him and she is sorry. She keeps apologizing as he questions her. She
tells him that the DNA test proved that Marlo did indeed have his
child and she hid it from him. But, she tells him that Lexie doesn't
have his son but he IS in Salem and with (at this point she drops off
to sleep) and the credits roll.
