MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2001
As Harold talks with Greta while she gets ready for their
date with Jack, Jack calls Jennifer who is already on her date
with Brandon. The two argue about their relationship and when
Jack boasts that he's moving on with Greta, Jennifer wishes him
well and hangs up. Harold is forced to hide when Jack finally
arrives. He rushes Greta out and off to the movie theater while
Harold waits in the bedroom. As he does so, Greta realizes he's
hoping to catch Jennifer with her date. Meanwhile, knowing how
upset Jennifer is, Brandon guesses she's still in love with Jack
and offers to take her someplace else but she refuses. Already at
the theater, Chloe and Brady are nervous as they compliment each
other and compare their "loner lives." Hearing the
movie has been canceled, Brandon suggests to Jennifer that they
go back to his place to watch a video. Inside the theater, Jan,
Jason, Belle, Shawn, Mimi and the others wait in hopes the movie
will start. Philip arrives with Cynthia and quickly tries to spot
Chloe. Belle's unnerved to find Jan staring at Shawn all the time.
When Jack can't find Jennifer, he takes Greta and leaves. Jan
becomes sick and rushes to the bathroom where Cynthia offers her
help. Running into Philip, Chloe ends up screaming at him as he
insults her. The manager kicks them both out of the theater as
Belle and Mimi watch them leave together. A mistaken Belle stuns
Brady with the news that his date left with Philip. Cynthia
finally rejoins Philip who takes her back to her place while
Chloe stares at them as they leave.
Over At Greta's Apartment
Harold is there, dressed in jeans and flannel, showing Greta his
new look. Greta is nervous as Harold tries to calm her down.
Outside in the hall, Jack calls Jen (who is arriving at the
movies with Brandon - see below) and harasses her. They argue and
Jack tells her that he is moving on with Greta. Jen tells him to
go for it and hangs up on him. Jack is pleased with himself, sure
that he got to her. As Jack arrives at Greta's, Harold hides. In
her efforts to get Jack out of there, she goes overboard with her
silliness (yes, more than usual) and they leave. Next, we see
Jack running through Salem Place, dragging Greta behind, trying
to get there in a hurry. She realizes that he only
wants to get there to see Brandon and Jennifer.
Brandon and Jennifer arrive at the movies and after her phone
call with Jack, offers to just call off date. Brandon has idea
that Jen still in love with Jack and offers to take date
elsewhere. Jen refuses and they decide to go to the movie.
In The Deserted Theatre
Chloe and Brady talk and she tells him that it is fun to be with
him. They chat politely, but nervously as they compliment each
other. Brady tells her that she looks really nice (then hot) and
to just admit it. They talk about the night they first met (at
the pier). Chloe talks about how she is a loner and has never had
to need someone to depend on. He says that he feels his life is
better for knowing her. Her mind seems to wander as he asks her
what is wrong. She turns and hugs him, saying that she is crazy
about him. (Brandon and Jennifer come in to the theatre). Seeing
them with popcorn, Chloe offers to go and get some for them (seeing
that the movie is delayed, due to electrical problems). Jen tries
to question Brandon about his family, but he isn't saying much.
Later, they learn the movie is cancelled. Brandon suggests
picking up a video and going to his place, which makes Jen very
nervous.
Over In The Crowded Theatre
Belle and Shawn continue to smooch in the back row. Mimi and
Kevin arrive as do Jan and Jason. Jan speaks only to Shawn and
smiles at him a lot. Because of the technical problems, the movie
is delayed and some people leave, allowing the others to find
seats. Jason starts everyone chanting "We want the movie"
much to Jan's embarrassment. Philip and Cynthia arrive (with him
scanning the theatre for Chloe) and they find seats as well.
Kevin proceeds to explain to Belle, Shawn and Mimi the countless
reasons for the delay (who cares?) Philip decides to go and get
popcorn as Belle cross-examines Shawn as to why Jan keeps staring
and smiling at him. Cynthia becomes impatient and goes to look
for Philip. Greta and Jack arrive as he looks all over the
theatre for Jen, she sits with Shawn and Belle. He finally
realizes she isn't there and grabs Greta and they leave. Jan gets
sick and rushes to the bathroom. There, she runs into Cynthia who
offers help. Jan basically tells her to mind her own business.
Out In The Lobby
Chloe spots Philip and they begin chatting politely as she waits
for her popcorn. Then they start to argue and Chloe tries to walk
away, but Philip stops her and ends up insulting her. They start
to scream at each other, bringing over the manager. They continue
to argue and the manager throws both of them out. Belle and Mimi
come out just in time to see Philip and Chloe leave. Then Brady
comes out as they tell him they saw them leave together. Jack and
Greta try to get into the other theatre but finds out it was
cancelled. He has a crazy plan to get in, but Greta suggests they
just wait. Greta thinks that Jack's quest to get Jen back is
sweet, but it would never work. Greta suggests they go back to
her place. After Jack refuses, she storms out. He ends up
following after her. Outside, Philip and Chloe continue to argue
as Cynthia joins them. Chloe calls her a slut (or something) as
they leave together to go back to her place. Alone, Chloe says
"Why, Philip? Why?" Fade to black.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2001
Greta convinces an upset Jack to stay at her place.
She then plies him with tequila and offers to give him a massage.
As she starts rubbing his back, Greta prepares to switch places
with Harold. Meanwhile, Brandon assures Jennifer that he will be
a gentleman at his place as they watch a video. When the VCR
"eats" the movie they rented, Jennifer accidentally
spills water on Brandon who changes into a sexier shirt. Nervous,
Jennifer decides to go home but Brandon convinces her to stay and
offers to rub her neck. Upset that Chloe left with Philip, Brady
leaves the movie theater. Belle and Shawn run into Chloe later
who attempts to explain what happened earlier. Belle doesn't
believe her and blasts her for hurting Brady's feelings. As Shawn
and Belle go home, Belle calls Brady to check on him and mentions
leaving Chloe alone outside the theater. He decides to run after
her unaware that she has chosen to go to the penthouse to try to
talk with Brady. As she does so, a van pulls up and two men jump
out. Kevin charms Mimi by having fun at the empty theater with
her, showcasing his hand shadow talent. Meanwhile, Philip and
Cynthia kiss passionately at her place.
Does Jack Get Rubbed The Wrong Way?
Jack returns Greta to her apartment. Inside we see Harold dash
out of the living room when he hears them in the hallway. Jack
wants to just call it a night, but Gretas wont take NO for an
answer and pulls him into the room (is this suppose to be funny?)
Harold listens in as Greta promises Jack a surprise that she
knows he's gonna love. (This is the chick who's favorite video
was Snow White, right?) She offers him a drink as he spots a copy
of Muscle Men Monthly on the coffee table and says her neighbor
left it there. She goes into her room, throws the magazine at
Harold and hauls out a HEAVY massage table as she falls on the
floor with it. Jack offers to help and she asks him to put it
together for her as she pours a couple shots of a vitamin drink
for them. She downs hers and tells him to do the same. He does
and has two more, saying it tastes more like tequila. (Greta must
have gotten fond of the stuff that night at Alices) She orders
him to take off all his clothes and tells him its just a massage.
A tipsy Jack plucks off his shoes and clothes... leaving only in
his red plaid shorts and black socks on. He gets on the table
with a blanket over his lower half as she turns off the lights
and puts on some soft music. She has him lie face down in the
table head rest. He wonders if shes going to get naked too as she
quietly brings in Harold to massage Jack. She tells him NO
TALKING and to relax. He tells her its just what the doctor
ordered and even suggests she do it harder around the neck as
Harold takes over. Jacks surprised at her strength as she
continues to talk to him while Harold does the massage. He tries
to raise his head to thank her as she changes places with Harold
and pushes his head back down.
After The Movie Is Cancelled
Brandon suggests they go back to his place and watch a video. Jen
asks if theyre going there alone and not ready for anything like
THAT yet. Brandon assures her that he just meant a movie (how did
she survive in the wilds of Africa?). Jen apologizes for thinking
the worst and thanks him for being honest and up front with her
as shes not use to it. He offers to go have coffee or dessert
somewhere instead, but she insists they go to his place as shes
curious to see how a bachelor lives. After he takes her in and
shows her around, she loves his place and the view. She even
likes the punching bag and said she needs one at her place (aint
THAT the truth). He offers her the use of his whenever she needs
it. He asks what she would like to drink and she asks for water.
He puts on the movie as they sit on the edge of the couch to
watch it. His vcr eats the tape (oops) and he comments the movie
gods must not have wanted them to watch a movie tonight, haha. He
puts on some jazz and she cant help being nervous. He suggests
they dance and with her water still in her hand, spills it
accidentally all over him as she goes to dance with him. She
watches as she gets a clear view of his upper torso as he goes
into his room and pulls off his shirt and pulls on a black
sleeveless t-shirt. She tells him she has to go and gets her
coat, but he brings her back into the room. He wants to massage
her neck to help her relax and is a CMT (certified massage
therapist). (Ironic how Jack and Jen are getting massaged at the
same time, huh?) Jen tells him it was just what she needed and he
agrees, leaning in closer to her for a kiss.
Belle tells Brady that Chloe took off with Philip. Kevin and Mimi
split and Brady tells Belle he has stuff to do at home and leaves.
Belle thinks its all her fault.
Outside the theater, Chloe tears into Philip for embarrassing her.
Cynthia calls Chloe a loser and Chloe comments on him dating the
class slut. Cynthia appears offended, calls Philip baby and she
and Philip leave to go back to her empty house. Chloe softly asks
Philip WHY (he doesn't hear) and he turns around to see Chloe
looking hurt as she watches them walk away. He reconsiders going
back to her, but Cynthia talks him into going back to her place
for a beer. Cynthia and Philip go into her house and she offers a
beer to him and promises to make him forget Chloe and all that
happened earlier. Later, handing Philip a second beer, Cynthia
straddles him and starts kissing him, then pulls off her top and
unbuttons his. She takes off her bra and tosses in on the floor.
Chloe sits on the bench outside the theater and Brady doesnt see
her as he leaves, telling himself to forget her. She remembers
Brady and goes to find him and runs into Belle and Shawn. Both of
them tear into Chloe for what she did to Brady and Belle tells
her to stay away from her brother. Chloe tries to defend what she
did, but neither listen and walk off. Shawn offers to take Belle
home to check on Brady, but she doesnt want their date to end,
which hes happy to hear.
Brady returns to the penthouse and goes out to the balcony to
think. He figures Philip won and he lost.
Mimi and Kevin walk around Salem Place and shes bummed their date
isnt going well. He promises the night isnt over yet and takes
her hand. They return to the theater as he puts her in the back
row and goes to do something. He returns, explaining his friend
is the projectionist, and does a hand puppet show for her from
the projector light, much to her delight. He shows her how to do
it and from behind her moves her hands as Mimi enjoys it. She
tells him her shadow bird was beautiful and he tells her she is
too as they kiss and we see a shadow of their kissing.
Shawn and Belle go off to neck in his truck. Outside the theater,
Chloe goes to call Brady, but remembers leaving her cellphone on
the charger. She decides to walk to the penthouse to see him. She
didnt realize it was that far (how many times has she gone from
the penthouse to Salem Place?) and a mystery vehicle drives up
and she panics. Two older guys get out and offer her a ride, but
not the kind she wants. They come toward her as she panics and
the credits roll..
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2001
Brady comes to the rescue when two men try to grab
Chloe. She thanks her hero and assures him that he is her best
friend and would never walk out on him with Philip. With Rolf
continuing to disavow being Barb's attacker, Lexie advises him
that Barb now wants $2 million. She also announces she wants Hope
transformed into Gina at the party. Rolf lies that Hope's life
will not be in danger. Making out in his truck, Belle and Shawn
discuss their petting session in Puerto Rico and she explains her
thought that it was her insecurity in their relationship that
pushed her to have sex with him. When she confides her fear that
he didn't want to make love to her, Shawn assures her that he
still lusts after her. Meanwhile, at Cynthia's place, Cynthia
removes her clothes and starts passionately kissing Philip.
Remembering his promise to Chloe to lose his virginity to her,
Philip suddenly stops, throws a blanket to Cynthia and gets
dressed. He explains that he can't do this and as he leaves, she
hints that she's going to tell Chloe everything. Waiting for Bo
and Hope at Tuscany, John remembers to Marlena his role as
Stefano's mercenary and calls him a father figure. Bo and Hope
interrupt. Mickey announces to Maggie that he just won a big case
that has given him enough money to take her on the trip of a
lifetime to Mexico.
At DiMansion
Lexie calls Rolf in to tell him the party is on, and he
is to give Hope all of Gina's memories. She also tells him of
Barb upping the ante to 2 million dollars.
At Lookout Point
Belle & Shawn are making out in the truck, but Belle is
distracted, and decides to get out of the truck, to walk off her
anger towards Chloe. They talk about Chloe & Brady, Chloe
& Philip, get chilly and go back into the truck. They have a
serious conversation about their time on the beach in Puerto Rico.
Belle says she was glad they stopped, but she had the feeling he
did not want her. Shawn reassures her that he "lusts"
after her all the time, but is glad they stopped, and explains
how close he felt to her, how special it was. They resume their
smooching session.
At The Brady House
Bo & Hope are all decked out, evening gown & tux, and
smooching away themselves. They start joking about just sitting
in the back of the car, then recall when they use to go to
Lookout Point......Hope suddenly gets worried about Shawn and his
date.....Bo admonishes her, saying we are not going there again....and
not to worry...if it will make her feel better, he'll call Ma to
say a novena to the saint in charge of teenage dating. LOL Hope
breaks into smiles.
At Cynthia's House
Philip is shirtless, Cynthia is topless and straddling him. She
gets up, removes her jeans, and they go into a major makeout mode.
On the floor, Philip suddenly has a flashback of a conversation
with Chloe....they were talking of him never having "been"
with a girl, inspite of being the school jock... and he finds
himself pulling away from Cynthia, saying he cannot do this,
gives her a blanket to cover herself, and starts pulling up his
pants, and grabbing his clothes. Cynthia is not happy, and as
Philip opens the door, says something about telling Chloe all the
details. Philip is upset at the idea, & Cynthia says, don't
worry, she won't tell.....she doesn't tell anyone who she sleeps
with. Outside, Philip is angry with himself, for giving in as
much as he did, saying Chloe would never forgive him if she knew
he had done that.
At Tuscany
John & Marlena are at the bar, talking about his memories as
Stefano's soldier. He says he sees himself running across a
rooftop with an assault rifle. Says how he viewed Stefano as a
father, and Stefano treated him with all the love as a son. But
Stefano made him a murderer. Marlena reassures him that he is a
good man, she trusts and loves him (she shines in these scenes!)
as does his family. He brings up Hope, but she says the child is
wonderful, and so lovable, and what a lovable child JT is, he
deserves all their love. They hear Bo ask "what about JT,
and turn to find Bo & Hope have just arrived. They all banter
back & forth, and Bo takes Marlena off to dance. Mickey (boy
is it good to see him!) comes in, surprising aggie, telling her
how he just finalized a case that involved 48 million dollars,
and the bonus is enough to take his wife on the trip of a
lifetime (This had better not mean we won't see them for some
time!) Maggie excitedly asks where, and Mickey puts on a Mexican
hat!
John & Hope talk about the chip, with John saying it has to
be done NOW, before Gina's memories come flooding back, ruining
everyone's lives. Hope says she wants to have this fun evening
with Bo...and they can wait a little longer.
On the dance floor, Bo & Marlena are doing the Bossa Nova, he
tells her what a peach she is, knowing he is not JT's father, but
always acting as tho everything is normal. She says love IS
normal. As he "dips" her, Mickey is "dipping"
Maggie, and they all laugh. Mickey asks for a favor from Bo....takes
him off, Maggie & Marlena follow along. Soon, Maggie comes to
the table where Hope & John are sitting, talking about the
new waiter. Up pops Mickey with a big pitcher of Margaritas, Bo
following with a platter of guacamole dip (nachos, tostados....whatever
accompanies it) Marlena & Maggie bringing glasses and a
couple more bowls. Mickey & Maggie tell everyone of their
planned trip, and IT IS PARTY TIME! The camaraderie among
them all is fabulous and they truly are having a wonderful
time, as are we, the viewers. Great scenes. Hope is
reminded of a birthday party for Shawn when he was still
Shawn D....LOL....with a Mexican theme....and the pinata they all
tried to break, and it would not break. They are all laughing
hysterically. Finally Lexie took it down and stomped on it,
breaking it open. They all toast to "The Pinata".
Mickey mentions Lexie's upcoming party honoring Hope, and how he
hates the idea of it being at Stef's house. They all get a
bit solemn here. Marlena agrees, but says Lexie considers it her
home, so they should honor her wishes about it. They resume
munching, laughing and bantering among themselves. (LOVE these
scenes..very fun) Mickey & Maggie decide to get on the floor
to do the Mexican Hat dance. The other two couples are not to be
left out and get up and join them. They all dance around the hat,
swinging partners, etc. (APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE, lol)
Chloe In Danger
The two men are confronting Chloe, and dragging her into their
vehicle. Just then Brady drives up in the jeep. He punches out
both guys, he & Chloe run, but one guy grabs him, seeming to
knock him out. The other guy grabs Chloe, who gives him the
elbow, going to Brady on the ground. The guys again attack, but
Brady is faking, trips one, lots of leg kicks & punches, one
guy draws a knife, good fight scene....the bad guys lose, Brady
& Chloe take off in the jeep. We next see them walking in the
snow covered park (hey, the snow is BACK!) with coffee or hot
chocolate cups. Brady wants to know why she was walking alone on
a deserted street. She explains what happened at movie theater,
how she was kicked out w/Philip, and says she had no money, and
was walking to his house. She says she would never leave her best
friend. They talk about singing, connecting voice to the soul,
and he tells her singing from the heart is the closest thing to
making love. They talk about Philip and Miss "Easy" but
Chloe is convinced Philip would not be intimate with such a
person. Brady teases about nominating Phil for sainthood. Chloe
says you know what I want.......to reach up and grab a star. She
walks to the swing set, gets on one, asking Brady to push her,.......higher,
please...and the credits roll.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2001
At Tuscany when Marlena worries about Belle and
Shawn's date, John, Hope and Bo assure her that they are
responsible kids and will be fine. Mickey and Maggie pipe in with
their opinions about the special twosome which leads to
flashbacks about all three couples. Meanwhile, Belle and Shawn
continue to make out with both agreeing that they won't make love.
As they head home, Belle calls her mother to apologize for losing
track of time. Marlena invites them to Tuscany where they join
the party. As Brandon tries to get Jennifer to relax in his
living room, she finally stops him and confesses that she is
terribly nervous. She then reveals that she hasn't been in
another man's apartment on a date in ten years. Brandon counters
her confession with his own and mentions that he was told that he
wasn't good enough for her. Jennifer assures him that that isn't
true. Jennifer then decides to go home to Abby. Meanwhile, Jack
doesn't appreciate it when he finally realizes that it's been
Harold massaging his aching back and not Greta. He blasts Greta
and demands that she gree never to do this again. Greta offers to
find another man for him.
Brandon & Jennifer
The two almost kiss a couple of times as he tries to relax her
massaging her shoulders. She keeps pouring water and drinking it
while trying to explain how she feels. She levels with him and
tells him how nervous she is and how its been 10 years since she
was in a mans apartment on a date. Brandon levels right back that
he too was a little nervous when picking her up and tells Jen
some girl at the hospital (Sami?) said he wasn't good enough for
her (Jen), which she tells him is not true. She tells him she
hates the phrase "wrong side of the tracks", thinks
about Abby and says she has to leave.
The Message
Greta/Harold continue massaging Jack, who keeps trying to turn
around. Greta tells Jack she has a surprise for him and when he
goes to pull up, pulls something in his back and lies down. We
see his face from the floor through the face holder on the table
(Matt Ashfords expressions and acting are about the only things
saving these scenes in my opinion). He suggests they start a
massage businessshe does the massages and hell manage itthey
could make lots of money (shes rich already Jack, remember?) and
when he tries to come up with a name, she says Massage by Harold.
Jack whips up on the table and grabs his clothes when he sees
Harold there. Hes furious at Greta for playing the trick on him
with Harold and makes her promise to never do it again when she
mentions someone else at dotCom he might like. He holds his shoes
up to his ears trying not to listen to what she and Harold are
saying. Jack is worried about what was going on with Jen,
figuring at least she too wasn't being massaged by some muscle
bound guy.
Tuscany
First of all - CONGRATULATIONS to Mickey for finally WINNING a
case!! Our three wonderful couples are having a fantastic time
dancing to the Mexican Hat Dance. John is exceptionally corny and
hilarious as he dances around Marlena clicking his fingers.
Marlenas worried about Belle, but John tells her that Belle will
call her on her cell phone if she needs them, but figures his
daughter is probably having a wonderful time, just like her old
man. Gotta love him. When Bo and Hope hear Marlenas concern about
the time and Shawn and Belle, they assure her that Shawn is very
responsible and will get Belle home on time. Mickey and Maggie
join in and rave about how sweet Belle and Shawn are. Mickey
tells them that Alice calls S&B the next Bo and Hope, Salems
newest storybook couple. (OK, do we all get the message now?
Belle and Shawn are the newest super couple on DOOL). The proud
parents kiss and John jokes that he and Doc arent exactly chopped
chimichangas LOL and deserve a chapter in that book. Mickey
comments that he and Maggie broke the mold (Maggie says they cast
the mold) in the couples department (oh, how truesorry for all of
you who missed the wonderful adventures THEY had
togetherespecially since no flashbacks of them are shown.
Hope remembers her and Bos two weddings as she comes down the
aisle in both London and Salem and Bos vows to her in the second
wedding ceremony.
Marlena remembers her and Johns wedding when John puts the ring
on her finger Maggie tells Marlena she never looked more
beautiful and exclaims about their Hawaiian honeymoon too, at
least until John came up missing. Marlena glances at Hope as John
and Hope exchange a quick glance before Marlena remembers a
montage of her and John having fun on the beach in Hawaii to
Martha and the Vandellas Heat Wave. Fun scenes as they kiss and
John clowns around, then her finding John floating in the water.
She tells John thats when God answered her prayers and she knew
she would never be separated from him again (uh oh... that's
always a sign of the opposite happening in Salem!). Bo and Mickey
both are sentimental about their wives too and Maggie says she
and Mickey are like a fine winethe longer theyre together, the
better they are. (Maybe well luck out and THEY'LL have an
adventure in Mexico???)
Belle and Shawn are still parked in the old truck. She is getting
warm and takes off her jacket as they start smooching. She
reminds Shawn they promised they wouldnt do it and they aren't.
She sees Venus and they stop kissing to talk about how Kevin told
Belle that Venus was the brightest star. Shawn tells Belle that
Kevin was wrong as she is his venus of love and the brightest
star to him. She never thought anyone would ever say sweet things
like that to her, then notices the time (midnight) and panics.
She calls Marlena at home (theyre now driving) and leaves a
message that shes sorry shes late and almost home. She wonders
why Marlena didnt answer and calls her mom's cellphone, which
Marlena answers at Tuscany.
Belle & Shawn come to Tuscany at Marlena's invite. Mickey
brings out a cake with candles, (Maggie says she bought Tuscany
so friends and family could come together......and there they
are, so let us celebrate.) They all blow the candles out
together, then Belle asks Marlena to talk to her privately. John
& Bo start to grill Shawn about being out past curfew, but
they are just putting him on. Belle tells her mom that she knows
they have been arguing a lot about sex. She wants to tell her mom
exactly what is going on. She figures it would be better to talk
privately at home about that and Marlena tells her daughter shell
be there for her. They tell each other they love each
other, kiss and hug.
At the very end, Micky & Maggie talk about how in love
B&H, J&M and S&B all were and wondering if it would
last. Split screen with B&H on left, J&M on right. Then
Belle and Shawn appear in the middle kissing (funny... Shawn was
on same side of screen as B&H. Belle as her
parents) as the credits roll.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER
30, 2001
Belle apologizes to Chloe for her words at the movies
and the two are best friends again. Chloe fumes as she guesses
that Philip had sex with Cynthia and assures Belle that she and
Brady are just friends. Belle invites her to Lexie's party for
Hope tonight. Philip blasts Cynthia for telling everyone they
slept together. She forces him to agree to another date. Glen
doesn't like it when Barb reads about Lexie's party tonight and
decides to go. She doubts now that Lexie was behind her attack.
Barb calls Lexie and demands $50,000 or else she will tell all
she knows tonight at the party. Lexie asks Rolfe to take care of
this problem for her. Hearing about last night's date with
Brandon, Hope urges Jennifer to bring Brandon to Lexie's party
for her tonight. Jennifer sheepishly admits her nervousness about
the matter but assures her that she will show for the big bash.
Hope confides her concern about Shawn dating Belle for fear of
what it might lead to for the young teen. Again, Hope urges
Jennifer to bring Brandon and reminds her that Lexie and Brandon
are good friends. She also mentions Colin's name before they
leave to do some shopping together. Meanwhile, Colin talks with
Nancy and Craig about being invited to Lexie's party in honor of
Hope and doesn't know whether he and Elizabeth will be attending.
After he leaves, Craig points out to his wife how different she
acts around Colin. She responds with a warning about the stranger
and becomes upset when he suggests she befriend Marlena to get
some advice about Chloe.
Jen & Hope are at the Java Café having their morning dose of
caffeine as Jen tells Hope about her date with Brandon. Hope
reminds her of the party "tonight" and suggests she
bring Brandon along. Jen doesn't want to ask him and feels
uncomfortable about it, but promises her cousin to come anyway,
alone. The conversation turns toward other important things (such
as clothes) as Jen talks about how excited she is about the party
(even though Hope is a bit self-conscious about it being in HER
honor). Hope begins to run down the guest list and mentions how
she and Bo spent the evening with John and Marlena at Tuscany
"the other night" (I guess we have skipped a few days)
and talks about what a good time they had. They go on to talk
about Shawn and Belle dating and tells Jen that she needs that
"someone special" in HER life as well. She assures her
that in time it will happen. They talk more about Belle and Shawn
and Hope confesses she is a bit concerned about her little boy
moving too fast, too quickly. She is worried about him, even
though he has assured them that nothing has happened. Hope
informs Jen that Shawn is bringing Belle to the party and goes on
about how proud she is of him. Hope happens to remember that
Lexie and Brandon are good friends and tells Jen that he is
probably invited as well. This stresses Jen out (sure that Jack
will be there with Greta and convinced he will make a fool of
himself). Hope brings up Colin's name as Jen talks about how she
is over him and embarrassed about how she acted towards him. They
head off shopping to find something special for Jen to wear to
the party.
Over at the hospital Craig is in his office as Nancy comes
storming in, furious over being invited to the party at such a
late date. She tells him that she had already defrosted a roast
for dinner and they can't go. Colin comes in and they find out
that he was invited as well. He has more flashbacks of Jen as
they discuss the Hortons. Colin leaves, telling them he isn't so
sure they will be going. Craig notices a change in demeanor with
Nancy whenever Colin is around. She talks about Colin and his
"anorexic fiancé" as Craig questions her behavior. She
says that there is just something about him that she doesn't
trust and warns Craig to be careful around him. Craig thinks that
Nancy would like more attention from Dr. Murphy as he nuzzles her
neck and Nancy begins that patented giggle. Later, Craig tells
her that Marlena told him they were going to the party and Nancy
seizes the opportunity to bad-mouth Marlena. Craig suggests she
become friends with Marlena and possibly get a little help with
the Chloe situation in the process. Nancy is offended and wants
nothing to do with that suggestion. After Craig leaves for a
meeting, Nancy says that Marlena had better stay the hell away
from her husband if she knows what's good for her.
At the Salem Inn
Barb (who has 3 butterfly bandages on her face now) and Glen, in
his standard-oiled-up-naked torso (he MUST have some sort of
clause in his contract ;-) are lounging around their hotel room
as she peruses the society page. She reads about the party (Hey
she can READ? LOL! She isn't as dumb as I thought she was ;-) She
decides they are going to this party. They argue about it a bit (Glen
is dead-set against it) but Barb is SURE that Lexie couldn't have
been behind her attack. She frets about how to do her hair as
Glen tries in vain to change her mind. She says that Lexie owes
them and she is going to pay. Glen gives in and goes to shower.
Alone, Barb says that she has some unfinished business with Ms.
Carver.
Meanwhile, over at "DiMansion" Lexie is a nervous wreck
as she frets about the party. Rolfe tries to calm her down,
assuring her that everything will work out okay. Abe overhears
part of their conversation and questions Lexie as to why she is
so upset. Rolfe makes up a lie, saying they were discussing
nannies for Isaac and Lexie backs him up. Abe (who must have left
his brain in the shower) is pacified for the moment. Abe has some
reluctance about the party as well, but he thinks that Stefano
might show up unexpectedly. They argue a bit over this issue as
Eliana interrupts them with news about the caterer (and
compliments Abe on his tie). After she leaves, Lexie tells Abe
that Eliana is sweet on him (trying to change the subject) but it
doesn't helpAbe just doesn't like living there. Abe leaves for
work as Lexie begins to fret again. Rolfe returns and tries to
reassure her. Barb calls, asking why she and Glen weren't invited
to the big shindig. Lexie jumps her and Barb informs her that
they WILL be coming and unless she comes up with another $50,000,
she will drop the bomb right in the middle of her party. After
getting off the phone, Rolfe offers to handle the situation for
her. Lexie tells him "fine HANDLE IT." (Look out Barbie!)
At Salem High Belle runs into Chloe in the hallway and apologizes
for her behavior, telling her that Brady had explained what
REALLY happened at the movies. Chloe finally forgives her and
they hug. They go off to a classroom to talk as Belle tells her
all about her evening with Shawn. Chloe talks about how bad her
evening wasfirst the fight with Philip and then almost being
attacked. Chloe is upset over Philip's behavior with Cynthia,
sure that they had sex. Belle tries to calm her down and tells
her that she really needs to have a talk with Philip. Belle
mentions Brady and Chloe INSISTS that they are just friends. But,
then she questions Belle about Brady's feelings towards her.
Belle isn't sure about how he feels, but is sure he cares about
her. Looking at the globe, Chloe wishes she could move away and
just start over. But Belle gives her a pep talk and says that she
has come so far, she doesn't want to see her digress to where she
was when she first met her. She ends up getting a huge smile out
of Chloe as they hug and tell each other they love each other and
"friends for life". Belle tells her about the party
tonight and suggests she go too. Chloe wonders if Philip will be
there and says she will consider it. She asks Belle for more
details about her date as Belle bubbles about it. Chloe thanks
her for her support and then head to class.
Out in the hall Cynthia is gushing to her friends (most of it
lies) about her date with Philip as Shawn overhears. He rushes to
Phil and tells him what he heard. Philip explains to Shawn what
REALLY happened and is upset about her spreading false rumors. He
is sure that if Chloe catches wind of them, she will NEVER
forgive him (and she shouldn't, IMO). Cynthia comes over and Phil
rakes her over the coals for telling lies. She says it's too late.
He raises his voice with her and she agrees to stop itonly IF
Philip will go out with her again. She is all over him like a
cheap suit saying "I KNOW you want me" as Belle, Chloe
and Shawn all walk up and overhear her. Philip looks like a deer
caught in the headlights. Fade to black and the credits roll.
