MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2001

It's morning in Salem and Bo & Hope chat in bed, Lexie
convinces Abe they should stay longer at her father's house, the
jewels are found and Paul makes his move.
Dr. Psycho & Company
Rolf turns off Bart's 50's film festival on tv and tells him
Stefano called and told him about a problem with Bo Brady.
Stefano wants him to turn on the Gina memories in Hope's brain.
Rolf isn't sure he can do it without hurting Hope and needs to
experiment first on someone else. He wants to use Bart and they
banter back and forth about it. Turning on and off the satellite
will only activate the chip. He needs to be close to Hope for
hours to do the trick. Bart uses Harrison Ford as a role model.
Rolf thanks Bart for being helpful and leaves.
DiMansion Boudoir
Lexie and Abe wake up in their bed at Stefano's mansion. She's
clearly at home in the comforts of daddy's house as Eliana
delivers breakfast to them in their room. When Lexie takes a bite
of an apple on their breakfast tray and offers a bite to Abe, it
reminds him of another man who's woman did the same. He hopes to
get kicked out of there too. Lexie refuses to leave as she likes
the luxuries of a chauffeur, built in nanny, etc. Abe reminds her
she's on leave from the hospital because she WANTED to stay home
and take care of Isaac. Uh yeah, but she tells him she really
didn't like their cramped little house and calls him an old fuddy
duddy. She likes all the perks daddy's money buys and refuses to
go back to rocking chairs on the porch. Abe agrees to stay if she
feels she and Isaac would be more comfortable there (oh Abe, show
some backbone!) She tries to entice him to stay home from work,
but he counters back with taking her out to dinner being Eliana
can babysit. She likes that idea, but when he suggests they
double with Bo and Hope, she doesn't agree. She's still upset
about Bo and the nurses talking and refuses to be around them.
She goes to check on Isaac as Abe heads to the shower. Rolf comes
around the corner as soon as she leaves the bedroom. They talk in
the hall and he reminds her she's been the one reluctant to do
anything til now. She wants Rolf's guarantee that Hope won't be
hurt and he tells himself it's Harrison Ford time. Rolf tells her
he needs access to Hope for a few hours and he needs to watch
Hope's eyes to know if it's working or not. Abe took the fastest
shower in history as he comes fully dressed in his suit and tie
to the bedroom door to head to work. He shuts the door while
eyeing the breakfast tray and shuts the door for a croissant. He
tells himself a guy could get use to this as Lexie and Rolf
continue their discussion in the hall about Hope's transformation".
Rolf assures her he can make Hope's Gina memories reappear. They
decide a party at the house would be a good "coming out"
party for Gina and Lexie convinces herself it's the right thing
to do.
Brady Bedroom
Bo has a nightmare of the nurses at the hospital telling about
the baby swap. Hope is awakened as he launches up in bed and asks
what the nightmare was about. He tells her JT. Hope tells him she
just wants peace (after she drove us crazy 3rd degreeing everyone
last month?). Bo remembers Hope's comment after the baby was born
about how the baby looked different when he was brought back from
the nursery. She tries to laugh it off, but Bo's not so sure. She
tells him those bracelets are hard to remove and JT still had his
on. She figures Isaac's immune system must just be stronger than
JT's. She tells Bo that even if it turned out to be true, she
wouldn't want to know. JT is their child, the only child she's
known and loved. She's thought also about his not being JT's
biological father. Hypothetically, Hope asks if they find out JT
isn't her son, would it change Bo's feeling for JT? They both vow
they'd NEVER give him up. Although sure she gave birth to JT, she
says the bond of love is more powerful and she uses Lexie &
Abe's love for Isaac as an example (wonder if she'll remember
that when the truth is found out?). The two cuddle, talk and
agree to love JT no matter what. Hope's happy with their talk
until Bo says he still wants to do a DNA test with Hope and JT.
Da Plane, Da Plane
Vic, Nic, Brady & Chloe fly towards Puerto Rico. Brady's a
little nervous about flying into the hurricane, but Grandpa Vic
assures him no problem. Nicole talks about her father and would
have no problem killing him after what he had done to her. Victor
assures them if Paul did anything on the island, he WILL be dealt
with, but not by Nicole. Brady gives Chloe a soda and they talk
about what Chloe and Nancy said to each other about the trip and
Chloe telling her she's still a virgin (something tells me this
argument was left on the editing room floor as we never saw it).
She tells him she's glad he was there at the airport the night
she got off the plane to Puerto Rico and the plane starts
bouncing. The pilot announces they're flying into the storm and
no place else to land and to buckle up. They all buckle up and
Victor assures them his pilot's the best. Chloe tells Brady she's
quiet when she's scared. He promises he's there to protect her
and nothing will happen (he can stop crashing planes too?) During
a bumpy ride the pilot gives them a play by play (didn't need
this happening today as I'm flying across country tomorrow myself!)
of debris flying towards them. They're flying into the eye of the
hurricane and going down.
Fantasy Island
The 3 teens eat fruit for breakfast before their treasure hunt. (Note
Belle's hair is not twisted anymore) Paul lurks in the bushes,
threatening to kill them after they find the ruby. Belle tells
Philip about Chloe telling him she loved him in her dream and he
gets excited and wants all the details (don't ask Philip). Shawn
tells Philip enough whining about Chloe (high 5 Shawn) and they
start their hunt. They move a rock and find another clue under it.
The clue tells them the ruby is in a purse, but beware of the
guardian angel's curse. Shawn ropes up to be lowered into the
hole and Paul wishes he had gotten rid of Belle as she's fretting
about Shawn. Philip lowers Shawn as Belle keeps warning him to be
careful as she watches from the ledge. Shawn finds the clue and
the purse and reaches for it. He opens it and finds the ruby and
other jewels. He sticks the ruby in his pocket and Philip goes to
pull him up when Paul grabs Belle with a knife at her throat!
Philip drops the rope and yells down to Shawn that it's Paul.
Paul orders Philip to pull "the bastard" up and yells
to Shawn he's going to give him the jewels when he gets there or
his blondie girlfriend will be dead. Shawn yells up for Philip to
secure the rope to a tree and he can climb the rest of the way up.
He does so as Belle yells for Shawn to give Paul the jewels.
Shawn hands the bag to Paul and punches him. As they struggle,
Shawn gets pushed back in the hole and grabs the rope. Belle
crawl over to help Shawn up as Philip fights Paul. Paul wins and
comes after Philip. They struggle some more and he knocks Philip
out and cuts the rope that Shawn's climbing up. Belle rushes to
see if Shawn was ok and falls head first into the hole and lands
on top of Shawn. Both are out cold on the ground (Belle really
needs to have a doctor as a bodyguard with all her accidents!)
Paul opens the bag and finds the other jewels, but the ruby is
missing. We see the ruby on the ground near Belle and Shawn as
the credits roll.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER
18, 2001

Lexie makes party plans, Victor's group arrives in Puerto Rico,
the islanders prepare to evacuate the island, but Shawn, Phillip
& Belle are in danger.
At DiMansion
Lexie wants reassurance from Rolf that all will go o.k. if Hope
gets Gina's memories back. Rolf repeats his "trust me"
routine (what a snake in the grass) and tells her that not only
should John Black be at her party, but also Greta, since Gina was
so devoted to her. Lexie calls Hope.
At The Brady House
Bo & Hope discuss getting a DNA test for her, to see whether
she truly is the biological mother of JT. Hope is very much
against this. Lexie calls to meet Hope at the park with the boys.
They decide instead to meet for breakfast at the Pub.
At The Brady Pub
Colin & Elizabeth are having coffee, chatting with Caroline
about a sale at Barrons. When Colin says Dr. Craig Wesley called
him back for another interview, Elizabeth is not pleased at all.
Colin tells Caroline he thinks he will be offered a position with
the hospital, and while Caroline is delighted, Elizabeth clearly
is unhappy. Colin stalks out, upset. Bo arrives, literally sweeps
his mom off her feet, and she laughingly goes to fix him a big
breakfast. As Bo pours himself some coffee, Elizabeth comes on to
him big time, feeling his muscles, etc. Lexie & Hope come in
with the boys in strollers, and Hope asks who is the woman trying
to steal her man. Caroline explains about Colin's fiancee' &
the gals order a big breakfast. (gee, didn't Lexie eat anything
on that huge tray Eliana brought her earlier). When Bo doesn't
resonds to Elizabeth's comeons, she leaves, running into Colin
outside. He tells her they should postpone their wedding, but she
puts the moves on him, and convinces him to go back to their
place where she can "show" him how much he means to her.
Inside the Pub, Lexie tells Hope how she & Abe seem to be
outcasts ever since moving into her father's house....and he is
not there any more. She says she wants to throw a party in Hope's
honor.....and Hope is surprised, but doesn't think that is a good
idea. Meanwhile Bo is telling his mother how all is so right with
his world, and he could not be happier.
On Victor's Plane
Everyone is belted in, as the plane goes down, but manages to
crash land. Tho everyone is unconscious for a little while, they
all come to, and are evacuated out the chute. Brady goes first,
says it is very slick. He catches Chloe, then Nicole as they
slide down. Victor trips, and goes head first. Paramedics come
rushing up, Nicole is moaning to Victor, "Oh, no, I can't
lose you now". He comes to, and is put on a stretcher with a
possible sprained ankle. Brady assures him that he & Chloe
will check on the safety of Philip & Belle. In the ambulance,
Nicole is very worried about her father, but Victor says he will
always protect her, and she is in no danger from her dad. Nicole
is happy to hear that as she says that is all she has ever
wanted, was someone to protect her.
Brady & Chloe take off for the hotel, with Brady wondering
what the relationship is between Nicole and his grandfather, and
asks Chloe if she thinks they are doing it. (Duh, ya think?)
Chloe replies that is hard to believe, since Nik is so young, and
Brady's grandfather so old. They reach the hotel, and the desk
clerk tells them a ship is on the way to the island to bring the
group back. Relieved, Brady decides he needs a beer (isn't he
still under age?) and gets a mug, along with a diet soda for
Chloe. As they sit and sip, Chloe talks about how she has
butterflies in her stomach when thinking of seeing Philip again.
Brady is not too happy to hear that, saying butterflies mean one
is excited, but it could be happy excited, or nervous excited.
Chloe claims when she sees Phillip she will know which one.
On The Island
the storm has hit, it is raining and everyone is preparing to
leave, dressed in rain gear. Mimi worries about Belle, Shawn
& Philip being missing, and implores Ms. Perez to go look for
them. Jan does the same to Mr. Woods, telling him she thinks Paul
is to blame. When Mr. Woods questions her, she remembers Paul's
threats, and refuses to tell him why, only saying she has this
feeling cause the guy is so creepy. Jason comes along, wonders
why she is so concerened about Shawn, but goes with her to help
look. The storm gets worse, and everyone has to leave. Mimi
refuses, insisting on staying behind for her friends. Mr. Woods
says they have probably found shelter, and Mimi is literally
dragged away.
Up near the cavern, Paul is livid that the ruby is not among the
jewels in the bag. Phil is unconscious on the ground, & down
in the cavern, Shawn & Belle revive. Shawn cannot find the
ruby, but Belle spots it. Shawn agrees to give it to Paul if he
gets them out of there. Paul agrees, Shawn throws up a rope, Paul
secures it & Belle climbs out, then Shawn. Philip is groggily
coming to, and Shawn tries to talk Paul out of taking his great-gran's
ruby. Paul cunningly agrees, and when Shawn's back is turned,
attacks him, knocking him out. Belle tries to run away as Shawn's
urging, but Paul grabs her and knocks her to the ground. In the
ensuing strugges first Belle is knocked into the cavern, then
Shawn. Shawn grabs the rope, climbs back out, and fights with
Paul. Philip comes to, crawls over to the knife. Tho still
groggy, he stabs Paul in the shoulder, and tho wounded, Paul
knocks Philip into the cavern. Shawn & Paul continue to
fight, but eventually Shawn is tossed into the cavern, too. Paul
cuts the rope. Philip begs Paul to at least take Belle, &
Paul readily agrees, with an evil grin, but Shawn, remembering
Jan's description of what happened to her, says no. Water is
collecting on the floor of cavern. Paul takes a last look at the
hole in the ground, saying, "Enjoy your death scene, it will
be very slow and very painful". And the credits roll.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER
19, 2001

Jen has another appointment with Marlena, the teens try to get
out of the hole and Greta tells Jack how selfish he is.
A brief summary of the show. My heart just wasn't in it today. We
do NOT know when these shows will air on regular tv.
Greta and Jack talk about what Jack's doing to get back Jennifer.
She tries to convince him that reuniting with Jen may not be in
the best interest of Jen and Abby considering his being gay. She
threatens to be furious at him if he's not being totally honest
with her. Greta tells him how selfish he is and tosses him out,
slamming the door in his face.
Jennifer meets with Marlena again. Jennifer apologizes profusely
to Marlena for being late and feeling like she's wasting
Marlena's time. She remembers seeing Greta and Jack together and
confesses being jealous of Greta, especially when Greta keeps
asking her permission to move in on Jack. Jen feels Jack's at
fault and he doesn't deserve to be happy. Marlena's not as
concerned about what Jack did, but Jen's reaction to it. Jen
admits feeling guilty being a Horton, who believes marriage vows
are sacred and she's now divorced. She admits not being sure of
anything. Marlena tells her time's up and they'll talk more at
the next session. Jen isn't sure there should be a next session,
but Marlena tells her they made progress and recommends another
one. Jack admits loving Jennifer still and Greta warns him he
couldn't give Jen everything she'd need. She schedules regular
appointments with Marlena.
The teen boat bounces back to shore as Mimi and Jan talk about
the missing trio. Jan especially is worried about Shawn after he
helped her. Mimi figures out that Paul is missing too and worried
about what may have happened.
At the hotel in Puerto Rico, Paul is in his room remembering what
happened. Downstairs Brady and Chloe sip drinks awaiting the
teens return. Victor and Nicole arrive and Brady tells him the
kids are on their way back. He sees the police with the hotel
clerk and learns 3 kids never got on the boat. Paul goes to the
bar as Nicole shows her father's picture to the hotel clerk. Paul
spots Chloe and Brady and Chloe recognizes Paul and points at
him, yelling it's HIM. Nicole turns to look.
Belle, Shawn and Philip try to get out of the hole that is
filling with water. Shawn figures they can just float to the top.
The water stops and they seek other methods. The guys pull a
board out of the wall and a skeleton pops out. Belle freaks out
and Shawn tries to keep her calm. She finally does and admits
things could be worse as we see a snake crawling around on the
wall. Shawn asks for her help and we see the snake slithering
next to Belle's hand as the credits roll.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER
20, 2001

Director: Herb Stein
Jen and Jack talk, Lexie has breakfast with Bo & Hope, Jan
is seen by a doctor, Paul and Mimi are questioned and the 3 teens
are still in the hole.
At The Deveraux's
After her session with Marlena, Jen reflects on her comment about
Greta moving in on Jack. She figures Jack does have someone and
wonders what to do. Jack returns home, remembering Greta tossing
him out of her apartment. He walks in and finds Jen sitting there.
He tells her she looks sad and she tells him the same. He decides
to put music on, but she'd rather talk about them. She tells him
about her seeing Marlena on a regular basis. He doesn't
understand she means professionally until she tells him. He asks
if it's about her mother and the trauma she went through being
left on the bus. Jen is touched by his sensitivity and says so.
Jack blows it by joking around about things (to lighten the
moment) and tells her it works with Greta. They bicker a bit
about that and he asks why they're talking about Greta, he's not
dating her. He gets a notepad and tells Jen he can list 10 items
that aren't depressing and knows she can come up with 20 that are
depressing. He does his Groucho imitation to get her to smile. No
luck. He decides it's time to bring out the big guns and unzips
his pants, turns and moons her. It works and she breaks up
laughing. Now that he's got her relaxed, he grabs her hands and
pulls her out of the house for more fun.
Brady Pub
Lexie tells Bo, who's joined her and Hope with the boys, and
tells him about the party she's throwing for Hope. Bo asks if she
means HER house or the stinky Dimera mansion and Lexie tells him
yes, the mansion. She insists the party will be more elegant and
worthy of Hope in the mansion and Hope figures Lexie's living
there has made the house now acceptable. Bo's reluctant, but
gives in as he plays heartily with JT. Hope asks Bo if he still
feels she should have that test and Lexie asks what test. Bo
tells her about the DNA test for JT/Hope he wants. (I know
they're friends, but with recent conversations with Lexie about
the possible baby switching, you would think they wouldn't have
said anything to her about the test.) Lexie tries to assure them
the hospital has fail safe methods of security (yeah, right, let
me count the ways) and Hope feels Lexie's right. Bo agrees to
drop the subject and no DNA test. Bo and Hope talk about pursuing
Gina's past so she'll be prepared if Interpol comes looking for
her. Cute how Bo and Hope tease each other during this segment as
she warns him that being he's a cop, HE might be the one
handcuffing her. Of course Lexie promises to help Hope in her
quest. She remembers her discussion with Rolf about his having
access to Hope to watch her eyes. She encourages Hope to work
with Bo on this so he can help her if needed and he agrees. Bo
leaves to go to work and even suggests they should do breakfast
with her more often. Bo asks Lexie what's the REAL reason for the
party though before he leaves. He hopes it's not for a
reappearance of Stefano and leaves.
Hope thanks Lexie for talking Bo out of the DNA test (let's hope
he does it on the QT). Hope figures Isaac's being ignored (what's
new) and goes to pick him up when Lexie stops her. She claims
Isaac was wet and didn't want Hope to get wet too. Hope knows
Isaac's wearing a diaper and insists she's like a second mother
to Isaac.
Puerto Rico Hotel
Jan has cramps and burning up. Jason helps her to the hotel lobby
and the hotel clerk calls a doctor who's staying at the hotel.
Later Jason waits in the hall as the doctor is in Jan's room
examining her. After examining her, the doctor tells Jan he knows
she was brutally assaulted and tells her he can't tell anyone
what she tells him, so to be honest with him so he can help. She
remembers Paul threats if she told anyone. The doctor offers to
arrange more tests and an appt. with gynecologist on the island.
She refuses and he warns her she needs immediate attention for
tests and treatment. Jan thanks him, but rushes out, telling
Jason she just wants to go home and forget this trip. (Of course
neither teacher is even aware one of their students needs medical
attention, oy!)
Down in the lobby, Chloe recognizes Paul and as Paul tries to
flee, a group of teens stream through the door preventing it.
Brady grabs him and they all demand to know why he's there. Mimi
sees him and tells everyone he killed her friends, causing a big
panic amongst the new arrivals from Salem. The cops arrive, but
being Mimi didn't actually SEE Paul do anything, they can't hold
him. Brady won't let him leave as Victor tells Mimi to stop
blubbering and tell them where the trio is. Mr. Woods arrives and
tells them the trio slipped out of camp during the night and
never returned. They searched for hours, but he had to get the
other 30 kids to safety. (Why couldn't he put the kids and the
female teacher on the boat and stay on the island to look
himself?) He offers to help their search after getting the rest
of the kids settled. Victor asks Mimi what happened and she tells
him she promised not to tell. Victor barks, Nicole talks softly
and Mimi tells them about the treasure hunt. "the Captain"
claims no knowledge about any treasure (the fact he's not a
"captain" should tell it all..why would he be there at
all?) Nicole knows he's on probation, why not have them search
his room (and find the other jewels). Mimi tells them about what
she knows and Paul claims he's innocent. Brady threatens to beat
it out of him. Paul tells them he got hurt trying to secure the
boat when the hurricane was coming, so was coming back for
medical attention. He saw 2 boys and a girl swimming and goofing
around naked in the surf. Mimi insists that's not true, knowing
her friend. He said the girl got a cramp and the boys tried to
help her and drowned. He tried to help, but the storm got too bad.
The cops take Paul and Mimi off to get more information. Brady
tries to get a boat at the desk, but the clerk tells him no way.
Brady talks with Victor, determined to find the trio. Victor
nods, apparently happy with his grandson's determination.
In The Hole
We see Belle, Shawn and Philip trying to get out when Shawn spots
the snake by Belle's hand. He tells her not to move, but not why.
When the snake has passed her hand, Philip pulls Belle away and
Shawn grabs the snake and kills it. Philip checks to make sure
there are no more snakes as Belle freaks. They hope that Mimi is
Mimi and tells someone where the cave is (little do they know
they're alone on the island). They look for other ways out of the
cave and Belle worries about more snakes. Shawn tells her the
snake wasn't poisonous, but after looking at the snake again, it
looks like it is, but he doesn't say so. Belle says a prayer
first with Shawn and Philip. Shawn then asks Grandpa to help him
bring back the ruby to Grandma. They turn and see a tunnel. The
show closes as Philip crawls in to check it out while Shawn stays
to be with Belle.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2001

Director: Phil Sogard
This rating is based mainly on the Jack & Jennifer scenes (along
with GREAT flashbacks) and the acting of Ariane Zucker (some of
her best work to date, IMO).
Jack & Jenn
Are at a pay phone, he is making calls making plans with someone
(we later learn it's Maggie) as she sits in the car. When he
returns, she wants to know what he is up to but he won't tell her
a thing. He does his usual clowning around as he tells her to
follow his lead and begins to sing "Follow the Yellow Brick
Road". She finally laughs and gives in and off they go. They
arrive at Tuscany, greeted by Maggie (who gives an all-knowing
wink to Jack). They talk about a big surprise as Jenn walks in
and Abby is there, who yells "Happy Birthday Mommy".
They have a cake and balloons and the staff (along with Jack,
Maggie and Abby) sing "Happy Birthday". She is totally
surprised and Abby tells her that Daddy planned it all. Maggie
pulls out her camera and takes pictures, with Jack, Jenn and Abby
all clowning around and having a great time. The music starts and
Jack asks Jenn to dance. The song is "I Could Not Ask For
More" sung by Edwin McCain (the country version is sang by
the lovely Sara Evans). (Thanks to Beth for being the
first responder and to all the other 12 people who emailed the
name too!!) First one who lets me know who performs THIS
version will get there name posted here). This is the most
appropriate song that could be used as the whole song is
intertwined with J&J flashbacks (I LOVED IT, as I'm sure all
J&J fans will). (Lots of stuff here I'm not familiar with,
but I'm sure that longtime J&J fans will recognize it
immediately, J&J in disguise, him proposing to her, Abby's
birth, etc.) Abby and Maggie watch on and Abby tells her that she
KNOWS her mom and dad will get back together. After the dance,
Jack asks Abby to dance (cute as she stands on his feet). Jen
thinks that just MAYBE it will all work out afterall. Jenn breaks
in to dance with Abby as Jack and Maggie watch and he thanks
Maggie for her help. Later, Jenn opens her gift from Abby, it is
a family scrapbook complete with a drawing of Jack, Jenn and Abby
on the cover. (LOL, Abby thinks she made Daddy's head too big,
Jenn jokingly assures her she did NOT and that it is perfect).
Abby feeds Jack cake, getting it ALL OVER his face and Jenn
cleans it off for him. The babysitter comes by to get Abby as
Jack has even more surprises planned for Jennifer.
On The Island
Paul tries to get Nicole to buy his innocent story, but she isn't
as dumb as she looks. Brady assures Victor that they will find
the kids, he has a plan. Brady and Chloe try to question Mimi and
see if she can remember anything. She remembers the map, but not
much else, and turns out to be no help. Paul works on Nicole and
he assures her he has told her all he knows and leaves. She tells
Victor she hit a dead end and doesn't believe her father. She
tells Victor they must play Paul's game and that she will get
more out of him, but she is afraid. Victor slips her a pistol for
protection. Reluctantly, she takes it. Chloe and Brady explain to
Mimi just WHO Paul really is and she freaks out when she learns
he is an ex-con. Brady has a map of the island and shows it to
Mimi to try and jog her memory. She points to an area that they
MIGHT be in. He takes off and tells Chloe and Mimi to stay put.
As soon as he is out of sight, they follow. (One thing that
really bothers me in this whole story is this, has NO ONE
informed John, Marlena, Kate, Bo or Hope that their children are
in danger? In the last few shows we have seen Marlena carrying on
"business as usual" at the hospital, Bo and Hope are
frolicking around at the pub, and Kate and John haven't even been
seen in days and are MIA.)
Upstairs, Jan is having flashbacks of Paul raping her when he
walks. She freaks out and accuses him of giving her some disease.
He warns her to shut up or what she has will turn fatal. As they
argue, Nicole walks up and overhears and slams Paul up against
the wall, yelling at him to keep his hands off that girl. Jan
assures Nicole that she is okay and leaves. Nicole demands to
know what he did to Jan. He tells Nicole that he promised to help
her get into movies which infuriates Nicole. She rails him out
for ruining her family's lives and vows to find out what he has
done to Jan. As Paul leaves, Victor comes in and informs Nicole
that if she wants, he has connections in Puerto Rico that can
"take care" of Paul.
Jan goes to the restroom and cries and talks to herself in the
mirror. Susan comes in, offering help. Jan covers and says that
she is upset because Shawn, Bell and Phillip are missing, but
Susan doesn't buy it. Jan makes her promise to never tell anyone
that she saw her upset on the beach OR that she comforted her.
Upset and discouraged, Susan leaves. Jan wishes that Shawn were
there, he would protect her from Paul.
Meanwhile, Shawn is a bit busy. He and Philip crawl in a tunnel
of some sorts and try to dig their way out. Belle is worried
about them and they come out. They keep trying to assure her that
Mimi knows what they were up to and will alert someone. She is
also worried about what Paul might do to Mimi if she tries to
talk. Shawn suggests they talk positive and Phil starts to
chatter about Chloe. Shawn even promises Belle that when they get
home he will take her to the latest Julia Roberts "chick
flick". (Note to those unaware...Julia Roberts admits that
she is a HUGE Days fan). Belle is sure that they will get out
alive. She wants to help, so she crawls in the tunnel to dig a
while. She decides to pull a board off the wall of the tunnel to
help her dig, as they both shout NO to her. Too late, as she gets
the board, the tunnel starts to collapse around her, with dirt
and debris and the credits roll.

In an historic move, for the first time
in television history, ABC, CBS and NBC, along with FOX and other
networks will be airing the same program, "America: A
Tribute to Heroes", a relief telethon, which will be aired
live and commercial free this Friday night, September 21, from 9-11PMET/CT
(tape delayed 9PM MT/PT). Among those appearing will be: Tom
Cruise, Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Will Smith, Bon Jovi, Bruce
Springsteen, George Clooney, Kelsey Grammer, Sheryl Crow, Tom
Petty, Faith Hill, Jim Carrey, Robert DeNiro, Clint Eastwood, Tom
Hanks, and Robin Williams, along with many more actors and
musical acts. Please watch Friday night at 9PM and contribute
something to the relief effort. Whatever you can afford will be
helpful to those affected by this national tragedy.
