Brady and Chloe go on a "date" as Philip mopes over
losing Chloe... the kids continue their flight to Puerto Rico as
Paul prepares for their arrival.
Tuscany
John and Marlena are still at Tuscany as we get a replay of the
last few minutes of their "tell Hope" conversation and
their kiss. They toast to themselves and then John mentions how
he has been in meetings about his new company "Basic Black"
all day. He says that he is close to diving into the world of
high fashion and publishing. Brady and Chloe are in his van on
the way home. She remembers that she left her suitcase on the
plane. Brady asks if she regrets not going, but she just wants to
go home. But he wants to go somewhere and get something to eat
and eventually talks her into it. They end up at Tuscany and
Maggie refuses to seat him because they have a dress code and he
is in jeans and a tee shirt. He makes a scene (like father, like
son) until they provide him with a dinner jacket as John and
Marlena observe. As Dave, the waiter, seats them, they pass John
and Marlena (who comments that she is surprised to see Chloe)..
John gives her the signal so sh! e butts out. Chloe says that her
hair is a mess so she retreats to the ladies room, followed by
Marlena. In there, Chloe talks about what happened. Marlena tries
to comfort an upset Chloe and offers to brush her hair. Chloe
sadly recalls that her adoptive mother used to brush her hair and
would tell her that it was the only pretty thing about her.
Marlena disagrees and tells her that she is beautiful, smart and
talented, or so she hears. Chloe thanks her for her kind words
and her help and leaves. While they are gone, John visits with
Brady and wants to know what's up. Brady explains what happened
at the airport and swears it's no big deal. But after John
leaves, Brady wastes no time checking his reflection out in his
butter knife, winking at himself, LOL. Back at the table, Brady
and Chloe talk and he wants to be sure that she is okay. She
finally smiles and thanks him for rescuing her. Marlena and John
talk about them and Marlena explains why Chloe didn't go. John
thinks th! at Bradydoesn't want to admit it, but he actually
likes Chloe.
On The Plane there are lots of little
conversations going on. This was the bulk of the show and I'll
try and remember all I can. The kids are all having a big time
throwing stuff around and acting like, well, kids. Mr. Woods
calms them down and gives instructions about what all they will
be doing. Belle just sits and stares at Mimi and lets her do all
the talking. Mimi tells her to just let her have it. But Belle
says nothing so Mimi gets uncomfortable and leaves. Jan gives
Shawn a hard time about him and Belle (calling her a Polyanna).
They trade barbs until Jan gets po'd and stomps off. Philip is
asleep with visions of Chloe dancing in his head (ie. Flashbacks).
He wakes up and starts talking about Chloe and his problems.
Shawn has heard enough of it and pretty much tells him to just
get over it and have a good time. Chloe will be there when he
gets back. Shawn leaves (can't say I blame him) and joins a group
of other kids talking to Mr. Woods and Ms. Perez about th! e trip.
Susan and "shy girl " (Penelope) talk and Susan notices
that Penelope is now wearing lipstick. They chit-chat about self
esteem and make up. Penelope tells Susan that she is really
pretty and hints about why she doesn't lose weight. She
apologizes but Susan admits that she knows she is overweight.
Kevin comes by and offers to get them sodas. After he leaves,
Penelope starts questioning her about Kevin and Susan gets the
hint that she is interested in him. Susan acts like she doesn't
care, but warns Penelope not to use her to get to Kevin. Penelope
tells Susan a secret, she overheard Belle and Shawn talking and
knows about their plans to go on a treasure hunt.Shawn and some
of the other kids talk to Mr. Woods about the trip and they
question him about some of the islands. They talk about how some
of the islands are off limits, but when the kids question why,
they are very vague with their answers. They say that sometimes
criminals hid out from the law there and are nev! er seen again.
Belle goes and finds Mimi and wants her to explain everything
that happened. It all comes down to this, Mimi is jealous of
Chloe because in her mind, Belle exchanged her for Chloe for best
friends. Mimi tells her to just go on, she is off the hook and
doesn't have to be friends with her anymore, she will understand.
But our Belle isn't like that, she thinks that Mimi has learned a
tough lesson and wants to give her a second chance and work it
out, their friendship has been too special to her. They have been
friends too long to just throw it all away. Both get weepy and
they hug as Mimi promises to NEVER hurt anyone again. They
promise to be friends forever. Belle can't keep it any longer and
tells her about opening the can and what they found inside. Shawn
comes by and sees that they have made up and suggests that Belle
tell Mimi about their mission, which she does. Mimi is intrigued
by the whole story as Belle makes her promise not to tell anyone
about it.Meanw! hile, Philip jumps Jan and Jason about what
happened to Chloe. They rag on him for letting that "freak"
change him and about falling for Chloe. Jan tells him that she
isn't the reason Chloe dumped him, HE is for not believing in her.
They remind him about her accusing him of rape and other ways she
hurt him. They urge him to get over her and he takes their bitter
words to heart. Shawn returns and Philip stars chattering about
Chloe again. Shawn tells him that he is only 17 and forget about
it (for at least the next 2 weeks) and have a good time. Philip
thinks that maybe everyone is right and Chloe ISN'T the one for
him. Jason asks if Jan really cares about Philip or is this just
another way of getting back at Chloe. She asks "what do you
think?" She wants to see Chloe pay for what happened. She
also vows to bring down Mimi for running her big mouth.
Puerto Rico
Paul has arrived in Puerto Rica ahead of the kids and is in a bar.
He meets up with the captain of their charter boat and questions
him about the trip. Paul buys him a drink and then drugs it, then
gets him to tell him all about the charter and the island that
they are going to. Paul gets all the info that he can from the
captain, who even draws him out a map. When he gets up to leave,
the captain is woozy and Paul offers to help him back to his boat.
Later, Paul returns to the bar and flirts with the waitress. (Hmmm...did
he kill the captain?...don't know.) He pulls some stuff out of
his pocket and says that he has the boat, the captains license
and a map. He just wonders where his buddy buried the jewelry. He
says that it is just out there waiting on him and if those kids
get in his way, it's just too damned bad, and the credits roll.

The teens arrive at the hotel, more at Tuscany as Hope and Greta
barhop and Colin introduces Elizabeth to Uncle Shawn (just what
we need, another rude female in Salem ;-)
Show starts with Jen driving, calling a restaurant for take out
food on her cellphone headset. She pulls it off after hanging up
and her mind is stuck on Colin as she has a different memory of
him by the campfire in Africa. She remembers telling him she
needed a man she could trust and that would love only her and
Jack's not capable of that. He tells her a man like that is
closer than she thinks. Back to present day as she wonders why
she thought he was talking about himself. She said that was the
past and the present is now with Abby and Jack.
Hello Colin & Elizabeth
It's decided Colin will stay in a cabin (Horton cabin). Shawn
says it's in the middle of the lake and he'll need to get the
cabin key from the pub and take Colin over in his boat. Colin
says he's taking a break from being a doctor in third world
countries and it wasn't even his idea to come to the states. He
goes to show Uncle Shawn his secret and brings out a sexy long
haired brunette with tall heels. He goes over and gets someone
out of the car and introduces his fiancÈe Elizabeth. Shawn is
polite, saying they make a lovely couple, but Elizabeth is
apparently a whiny, rude cookie as she whines about being cooped
up in the car, hungry and how does Shawn know they're a good
couple being they just met (maybe an Irish version of Nicole?).
Shawn is speechless.
At Tuscany
Marlena and John are still dining at Tuscany. Marlena wonders why
John's association with Hope is so worrisome to her. John
suggests putting the topic of Hope away for the night and Marlena
agrees.Chloe's cobb salad and Mr. Black's (Brady's) Coq Au Vin
are delivered and Chloe realizes she's not as hungry as she
thought. Brady gets ticked her attention is on Philip and not him.
He asks about what her secret job to earn money was and she tells
him she had hoped to get a back up singer gig in Nashville, but
it didn't pan out. He tells her she doesn't have enough emotions
to sing country and she figures Nashville must have agreed. Hope
and Greta decide to barhop apparently as they went from The Blue
Note to the bar at Tuscany. (they must have seen our menus and
had to try one of everything, haha) Different location, same
topic (yawn) about Gina. Hope's determined to know everything
about Gina. Greta tells Hope about Gina and Father John. Gina
only drank the ! finest champagne and John only scotch over 25
years old. Hope has some memories about that. Greta laughs
remembering how as a child she thought they were just friends,
but Hope tells her she must now realize John and Gina were
probably lovers then. Greta looks a little uncomfortable and Hope
again asks who Gina said Greta's father was. Greta finally
notices Marlena and John dining there and says Oh my God. Hope
turns and asks if John is her father. Greta doesn't say anything,
but Hope smiles a little (gee, John would be catching up to
Stefano in the "kids from different mothers" category,
wouldn't he?)Jen pops in to pick up her take out. Hope invites
Jen to hang out with them for a while as she herself rushes after
Marlena. Greta asks Jen if they can schedule a time to get
together and get acquainted. Jen mentions seeing Greta on top of
Jack at the house and what she saw at Salem Place. Greta assures
her it was just in fun. Jen claims not to be jealous. Hope
returns and Jen'! s order is ready and she quickly leaves. Greta
asks if Hope fought with Marlena.Marlena excuses herself and
turns around to see the 3 gals at the bar. She and Hope privately
go at it on the terrace. Hope tells Marlena she's not after
details of her past for kicks. Marlena asks Hope why she needs
intimate details of making love with John in the submarine and
let's Hope know that John tells her everything and there's no
secrets in her marriage and leaves She rejoins John and suggests
they leave. He suggests a nightcap and she suggests they have one
in bed. He stands up quickly, liking her idea better and she
suggests they go out the back door as it's closer to their car.
He agrees again and off they go.
The Island Adventure
The teens noisily arrive at the hotel in Puerto Rico. Belle and
Shawn take hands in the lobby as two girl classmates observe them
and Philip. Paul walks in (wearing sunglasses that must be
superglued to his nose) vowing the kids won't be happy about the
trip after a while. Their Spanish skills are lacking as Jason
only knows 2 words..taco and bell, LOL. Jan tries to impress the
guys. It sounds good, but another student translates that Jan has
cheese in her suitcase?Mimi sits by herself, not feeling very
well and concerned about getting on a boat the next day. Shawn
and Belle move to a quieter table to look at the treasure map (haven't
they got it memorized YET?) as Paul lurks behind them. Mr. Woods
tries to tell the kids to shape up (uh, need a few more
chaperones, maybe?) Jan comes over to harass Mimi and suggest she
hit on Philip being Chloe's not there. If he'll fall for Chloe,
he'll fall for anyone, even her. DuhMimi goes over to Philip as !
she's told to as Jason and Jan giggle about it. Mr. Woods calls
Philip's name for his room and tells him no one ordered him to
come on the trip and perk up his mood! Shawn takes Belle's hand
and suggests they meet back down later to go over the map in
quiet. Mr. Woods has all the students checked in, 2 per room.
Mimi follows Philip around like a shadow until he asks about it.
She apologizes for Chloe cutting out on the trip and feels
responsible. She asks for his forgiveness and would like to be
friends again. He tells her he's moving on with his life and
suggests she do the same. Shawn asks Mimi if she's ok and leads
her to the table to show her the map. Belle joins them and Paul
watches from the bar. Shawn found another note (?) saying how
much his friend liked riddles and knew "Desi" didn't.
The kids are clueless what that means and Paul curses his "buddy".
Shawn reads the riddle to Belle and Mimi and Paul gets upset as
he won't be able to remember the long riddle. Appare! ntly he's
also illiterate. He remembers "buddy's" telling him he
won't be able to find the treasure without him and asks for a
phone. He calls the prison claiming to be a federal agent from
the keys and needs to speak to a prisoner (presumably "buddy")
Of course they put him right on the phone for Paul, LOL! He tells
Paul he'll be out soon and they can get it together. Paul
responds threatening to kill his friend if he double crossed him
(whatta guy!). Phil calls Chloe on a pay phone (she had her cell
and thinks it's maybe her mom knowing she didn't go on the trip
after all). Philip does all the talking about how wrong he was
and had good intentions. He hears music and people talking, and
asks where she is. While Marlena is with Hope, John gets up and
tells Brady his steak was excellent (tell MAGGIE that John!) and
asks Brady what he had. Brady points at Chloe (on the phone) and
Philip freaks when he realizes she's with Brady. She tells him at
Tuscany, so what. Philip asks w! here she is and when she tells
him Tuscany, accuses her of seeing Brady on the side the whole
time and she wisely hangs up on him. John apologizes for
interrupting her call, but she tells him it's okay as he leaves.
Brady asks what happened and Chloe tells him Philip loved her and
she never told anyone but Sugar, her mom's dog (glad she's
finally referring to Nancy as her mom). Brady tells her to use
this pain in her music and there will be other loves.Back to
Puerto Rico, Shawn explains to Mimi that they have to keep their
treasure hunt secret, because if Jan and Jason found out about
it, they'd never get the ruby for his great gran. Mr. Woods asks
to speak with Paul when he gets off the phone. He explains the
desk clerk said the charter boat captain had left, but was with
him earlier. Paul brings out an id saying Paul Garcia, captain of
a charter boat and they shake hands. He tells Mr. Woods that the
other captain got sick and he's their new captain. Paul goes over
to the ! kids table and Shawn shows him the map, asking he can
take them there. Paul goes along with it, saying no problem, but
why do they want to go there. Mimi comes up with to see the birds
on that island. Paul said he'll talk to their counselor about if
it's okay and leaves. They all realize they have to do whatever
they can to find Alice's ruby. Paul said they can't fool him and
he'll drown them like rats if need be as the credits roll.

The teens board the boat, Chloe hooks up with Brady again, and
other Salemites gather at Brady's Pub. (In this episode the
scenes all seem to last 30-45 seconds and jump around back &
forth, from place to place a great deal, so will put it together
as best I can.)
At The Wesley's
Chloe & Nancy are having breakfast. Nancy at last gets Chloe
to tell her why she aborted the trip, and sympathizes with her. (Chloe
is actually pretty nice to her mom, thank goodness) They talk
about Philip being on the plane, and Chloe mopes about all her
friends being gone for the summer and she is all alone. Nancy
suggests they go shopping, have a picnic, get a manicure or
pedicure, but Chloe would rather mope, be by herself and grabs
her purse, is out the door.
At The BB Court
John & Brady are having a game of one on one, and working up
a sweat. (For you Brady fans, he is shirtless and glistening with
sweat - but only on his chest. His back is dry as bone, lol) They
take a break, talk about Basic Black & Brady wants a job
there, working w/his dad. John insists he go back to school. They
compromise. Brady will work w/John for a year, then if John feels
the same, Brady will go back to school. (Yeah, like any of
Salem's kids need a college degree to get these big paying jobs).
They resume play, as Chloe comes by. Brady spots her, reminds
John of an appt. he has to make (lol), John takes the hint and
leaves. Chloe makes Brady put on his shirt (hey, once the shirt
is on, he is miraculously completely dry), they banter a bit, and
he offers to take her to dotCom for an iced cappucino. She says
she can pay for her own, but he says he has to spend his big
setttlement from Salem PD on something!!!
At The Brady Pub
Jen arrives outside and looks at the sign, flashing back to a
sign saying Kelley's Pub in Ireland and her arrival there. She
remembers going in & Colin telling her to get lost. Inside,
Lexie & Hope are chatting, w/their babies nearby in playpens.
Hope talks about Brandon and Lexie maybe getting too close, Lexie
gets upset, claiming they are just friends. Hope tells her about
wanting to know about life as Princess Gina, and mentions talking
to John & Greta. Lexie warns her this may not be a good thing.At
the bar, Shawn is talking to Colin & Elizabeth, about the
island and the Horton cabin. Elizabeth is not happy about going
there, and Shawn teases a bit about the mosquito repellant and
huge spiders. Back outside, Caroline arrives and sees Jen looking
sad. They talk a bit, with Caroline telling her Shawn's nephew is
visiting from Ireland, but Jen would rather not talk of Ireland.
They go inside, Caroline takes Isaac & JT upstai! rs where
she has lots of toys (boy, this sure seemed a lame scene to me).
John has arrived, Hope spots him and excuses herself to have a
chat w/him. Jen joins Lexie. Colin & Elizabeth are outside,(went
out the back way) where she is protesting going to the island
cabin, asking if she has to "rustle some grub", too.
Colin gets perturbed, says they should go back inside and get
some of Aunt Caroline's famous chowder. He looks in the window,
spots Jen and cannot believe his eyes. Elizabeth doesn't like
chowder, so puts the moves on Colin how they can do something
else instead.Inside, Hope tells John about her run in with
Marlena. He says Marlena never told him about it. She talks about
her conversation with Greta and how she really has to know about
her life, and it matters not what Marlena, John, Lexie, Greta, Bo
or anyone else thinks. Caroline brings JT back, who is crying.
John takes him and soothes him. Jen decides she needs some air
and goes outside the pub.
On The Boat
Paul is looking in the mirror at himself, while the unconscious
boat captain lays nearby. He talks about finding the treasure,
etc. & goes up on deck. The kids are all over the boat,
having various conversations. Belle & Mimi talk about Shawn
almost kissing Belle after Last Blast. Jason tells Jan about the
rum he has managed to get from some tour of a distillery and has
in his backpack. Paul overhears, but promises to keep the secret.(thinking
to himself as he looks as Jan that things may not be too bad on
the island..(oh, this guy is such a SLEEZE!!!) Phil tells Shawn
& Belle about calling Chloe. Susan & her teacher have a
few words about Susan's decision to study makeup, and she is
rather rude. Kevin questions her, but Susan says she is only a
teacher, not God. (Uh, oh, looks as tho Susan is getting an
attitude) Paul cons Shawn into reading his charts for him,
telling him he will take them to the island they want to go to
instead. Th! en tells Mr. Woods they are not going to the
original island cause the last group did a lot of damage there.
Woods does not want to go to alternate island cause he was there
once and the kids dug up a couple of dead bodies! Paul assures
him everything has been cleaned up and checked out. Woods is
angry, and is about to call the office about the change, but the
female teacher talks him out of it.Last shot of the boat on the
high seas, someone shouting Land Ho! and a shot of Paul's face as

All in Salem today :-) as the Black's get it on, Chloe and Brady
have fun (cute scenes), Hope gets close to the truth about the
baby swap, and Bo gets his first look at his cousin and Elizabeth.
The Blacks Have An Afternooner
John returns home from the pub and finds Marlena in the shower..He
joins her there and from behind, gets amorous while soaping her
down. Later as they cuddle in bed and decide what to have for
dinner (John says they need protein now and he'll grill some
steaks for them for dinner on the terrace. He sure loves that
Black-ened steak, doesn't he?). Something is said that triggers a
memory to John and he tells Marlena he's got some bad news. They
talk about Hope and her recent behavior. She asks if Hope's
taking on Gina's personality again. She tells him to tell Hope
whatever she wants to know and it's her only hope of not becoming
PG again.
Brady & Chloe
At dotCom, Brady and Chloe arrive to get some flak from the teens
who didn't go on the trip. Brady grabs the big mouthed male teen
(Matt I think) suggesting they take it outside if he doesn't
knock it off. Heather, the girlfriend, tells Brady to lighten up
and he tells them to never speak to Chloe like that again. He
asks Chloe why she never stands up for herself and she says she
couldn't rearrange Matt's face like he can and it's just easier
to not respond and they get bored. Growing up in foster homes she
was always the new weird girl wherever she went and she got use
to it. He tells her she'll be the toast of the Metropolitan Opera
while the other kids will be losers. He claims her newly broken
heart and help from him will get her there. She tells him all the
girls are checking him out and asks if he's got anyone special he
wants to date. Later, he grabs her hand and takes her somewhere.
We see them on rollerblades and he challenges her to a! game of
one on one basketball after they take the rollerblades off. (Amazing
recovery, canes one day, rollerblading the next?) We see the two
of them having fun playing and his shirt is soaked and she
suggests he take it off. He laughs and tells her to make up her
mind, on or off. She watches as he takes it off and he kids to
her to do the same, LOL. He challenges her to try and get by him
and she bounces the ball around him as she hold him off and falls
on the floor as he trips over her. He suggests she go home and
change and he'll pick her up in an hour to go somewhere special
for dinner. She agrees.
Jen & Jack's
Jen's home alone with memories of Colin in Africa, then flashes
back to hers and Jack's wedding (yeehaw) as they exchange vows
and he puts the ring on her finger. She starts crying as Jack and
Abby sneak in quietly and he tells Abby their surprise will make
mommy so happy. Abby yells Boo and Jen jumps and lashes out at
Abby to never do that again. After collecting herself, she
apologizes, still crying, to Abby. Abby tells her they have a
surprise for her and dashes off to the car to get it. While
Abby's gone, Jack is very concerned and gently wipes a tear from
Jen's cheek and asks what's wrong. She tells him she's just an
upset middle aged lady. Jen says she's a mother and not a very
good one at that. Jack promises to cheer up the upset middle aged
lady and asks where she and shouts for a middle aged lady in the
house, and tells Jen she's still a kid. Abby returns with 2 big
bags from Buddy's Burger Barn and they remind Jen how much she
missed Budd! y's double deluxe explosion burgers (1/2 beef,
‡ pork, cheeseburger with a mountain of fries). Jen tells
Abby she's happy to be home with her whole family, including
daddy. He tells her to wash her hands and they'll set the table (hurry
before those burgers get any colder!!). She asks if he found a
job and he assures her he will. He asks about her day, dear and
that sets her off. She claims not to be his dear and he tells her
she could be, why not? He suggests she take a risk and reminds
her of their wedding vows. He tells her they tripped, but didn't
stray that far and if they try, they can find their way back. He
asks her to give it a whirl. Abby walks in and asks her mommy to
kiss daddy like in the movies. The two do so as Abby watches.
Carver Mansion
Hope and Lexie go to Carver mansion with the boys. Hope doesn't
want Stefano to return as she fears the worst. Inside Lexie is
curt with Iliana and Hope comments that Lexie's got the lady of
the manor routine down already. They banter about Stefano and
Lexie misses him, even lovingly rubs their Sherry container. Her
attitude leads Hope to ask if she's got the PMS blues (LOL!!) and
they talk about the dna tests. Marlo comes up into discussion and
Hope recalls how Marlo delivered her baby the same night as JT.
She compares the two boys health conditions and states it's like
the two babies were switched at birth. Rolf is listening from the
other side of the doorway and Lexie gets a little shaken at
Hope's coming so close to the truth. Lexie calls Hope deranged
and claims to be getting a migraine.
Brady Pub
Outside the pub we're still enduring the bitchy whiny Elizabeth.
Even Colin's getting disgusted with her I think. She hated the
creaky, spider webbed cabin with the outside shower (hey
Elizabeth, there have been some pretty steamy showers in that
outside shower!) Guess Pop lent them his boat or they swam back
to shore this morning. He apologizes thinking the cabin would
have been more luxurious being it was owned by the Horton's. She
calls Salem Dog Patch, USA and doesn't want to stay there. He
agrees on something, that he was apparently wrong thinking they
could be happy together (YES!) She snuggles up and disagrees, but
he tells her Salem or no where. She slams into the pub demanding
a drink from his uncle. She snaps out an order to the bar keep (Shawn)
and rudely asks for a Devonshire Whiskey. He goes to put ice in
it and she snaps out not to do that to British whiskey and slams
it down. Bo approaches from behind saying no one who talks like
that is! a lady and she snarls, but turns around and sees him and
is instantly attracted to him (big surprise there, ey?)
Inside the pub Bo, Abe and Pop talk about Stefano and Ireland.
Pop tells him about Colin's being in Salem at the Horton cabin.
Bo's curious as to why Colin (and his fiancÈe) are in Salem
while Pop strongly tries to discourage Bo from returning to
Ireland. Pop introduces them and the two banter about how strong
willed she is. Pop asks where Colin is and she tells him off
solving a mystery and that Miss Marple herself couldn't solve all
of his.
Outside Colin remembers a campfire chat with Jen over a cup of
whiskey laden coffee. He misses the pubs in Ireland and she tells
him about a great pub in Salem with the best chowder and the
friendly malls. He asks why they left if it's so wonderful. She
tells him Jack wanted to, so they did. However, Jack's not there
right now and she and Abby are. She's now stuck in Jack's journey
from Hell and he tells her she needs a man to take her to Heaven
and she asks if there's a man like that for her. He has no doubts
there is. He wonders where Jen is and figures she's worked out
her problems with Jack by now. He was a bloody fool for letting
her go. He goes inside to get some more of Elizabeth's rude mouth
and pulls her (then carries her) out of there. Pop introduces him
to Bo and Colin shouts back the pleasure's all his and Bo tells
Pop that the two of them deserve each other. Outside Elizabeth
hugs Colin and he tells her she's the only woman in Salem for him
and they'll lodge ! somewhere besides the Horton cabin.
Hope and JT walk in asking about who those two were. Hope gives
JT to Grandpa to visit (JT starts crying when she does, LOL) and
Abe hugs Hope. She tells Abe she's worried about Lexie and thinks
something's going on. She feels Abe should go home and be with
his wife. Once he's gone, she tells Bo about how strange it is
that Isaac was so perfect after having a drunk for a mother. She
tells him how Lexie got outraged about that comment and feels
something is wrong and Lexie needs her.
Back At Carver Mansion
After Hope tells Abe she's worried about Lexie at the pub, Rolf
comes in and talks to Lexie. Rolf tells her that Stefano has a
plan for Hope if this came up and suggests they resurface Hope's
Princess Gina personality (on no, c'mon, we just got rid of her!)
Lexie claims Hope is her friend and she couldn't do that. Rolf
said if Hope thought she was Gina, she would be too worried about
getting John in bed and could care less about the babies. Rolf
tells her it may be the only way for Lexie to keep her son is to
make sure Hope Brady is history as the credits roll.

Call me crazy... but I enjoyed this episode! Good balance of
stories and good pace... Jack & Jen lovers will like their
scenes as Jack makes his true feelings known... Bo's temper comes
to surface (we even have Bo & Hope onscreen... TOGETHER) The
kids meet with their first obstacles... and best of all No Hope/John
scenes!
Lexie On the Edge
At DiMansion (sorry, Linda... I just can't call it the Carver
Mansion ;-), Lexie is shocked by Rolf's suggestion to switch Hope
back to Gina. He tries to convince her to go along with the idea
and that it is all part of her father's plan. He puts the
decision in her hands as she is torn. She says that she can't let
him hurt Hope but Rolf warns her that in the end, she could lose
Isaac. Lexie informs him that she doesn't want Hope hurt in any
way. He tries to convince her it is for the best, but the thinks
the whole thing is insane. She wants to talk to her father, but
Rolf tells her that he will relay her message. She says to tell
him that she wants him to protect her and Isaac and Rolf rushes
off. Abe comes in, startling Lexie, who turns and asks him what
is HE doing there? (well, duh, you are forcing him to LIVE there,
Lexie!) AND, he reminds her of just that. He tells her that he
spoke with Hope and that she told him that Lexie was upset and
that Ho! pe was worried about her. He wants to know what is
wrong, so she cries and tells him about Hope's suggestion about
the baby switch. He laughs at the thought as she declares that
with security at the hospital, it would be impossible. Then Abe
asks if she knows that, why is she so upset. She makes up a lame
reason, saying she is afraid that Hope will spread the rumor and
that there will be gossip. Abe tries to justify Hope's actions (saying
that she just needs answers) and promises Lexie that all will be
okay. Lexie starts talking about what if Marlo were alive and
decided she wanted her baby back. Abe tells her that she is
talking crazy, Marlo is dead. But, Lexie says if Isaac's
biological mother WERE alive, the courts would give him to her.
He hugs her, telling her again that Isaac's mother is dead. To
herself, she thinks, "No Abe, Isaac's mother is very much
alive and getting closer and closer to the truth!"
Bo Is Just ON EDGE
Bo and Hope are still at the pub as they discuss Lexie's strange
behavior. (pop)Shawn tells them that nothing good can come of
them living at the DiMera mansion and that Abe should get them
out of there. Hope tells Bo a cute story about JT playing with (just)Shawn's
picture and they talk about going on a family vacation. Bo
suggests Dublin, Ireland. Shawn overhears and is terribly upset.
Bo and his dad get into an argument over the issue as Hope tries
to play referee. Bo promises they won't go, IF Shawn explains,
which he refuses. However he has flashbacks of being near an
explosion (as a kid). Bo wants to know what happened in Ireland
and presses the issue. But Shawn refuses to tell him anything and
to leave it alone and concentrate on being a father and husband.
Bo keeps after him but Shawn just shames him for talking to him
with such disrespect and storms off. Hope tries to get Bo to go
and apologize. Then Bo says he KNEW Hope would side with Shawn,
because she is keeping secrets as well. He brings up the issue
about JT's biological father and then says that he is sick and
tired of all the lies, from her and his dad and storms out of the
pub. Shawn and Hope discuss Bo's behavior and she suggests that
maybe Shawn tell him what he wants to know. Shawn refuses, just
saying that Bo must NEVER go back to Dublin.
Jack & Jen On The Edge Of Reconciliation?
Jack is holding Jen as Abby encourages him to kiss her, which he
does as Abby smiles. Jen pulls away from him and Abby asks if she
liked it. Jack just stares at Jen. They tell Abby to go and wash
up for dinner and she scurries off. Jen tells Jack to NEVER do
that again. She points out that it was wrong and how hard it
would be for her to forgive him and all he did to her. Jack gives
a heart-felt speech as Jen is shocked. She can't understand why
he does this to her, saying that he never made her feel loved and/or
wanted and how she always had to play second fiddle to everything
else in his life. (Good scenes here if you are a J&J fan). He
tries to explain how he feels, but she doesn't want to hear it,
it all means nothing to her now. He tries to kiss her again, but
she pushes him away. Abby comes back, telling them about her
friend Rebecca is going to get a new little brother or sister.
Jack recants stories about when ! Jen was pregnant (would have
liked to had some flashbacks here!) and Abby is excited about all
of it. Then she drops the bomb, and asks if SHE can have a
brother or sister. Jack says sure, of course (as Jen kicks him
under that table), LOL! Jen informs her that is private and that
they aren't going to discuss that with her. After they eat, she
excuses Abby and then proceeds to rail Jack out for saying that.
Jack says if he left it up to Jennifer, they would NEVER get back
together again and rushes off. She follows him and tells him that
they tried, over and over to make it work and she isn't going
back down that road. They are wrong for each other and she
doesn't want Abby to be living in a dream world. But Jack keeps
on, and Jen is torn. She asks WHY can't he just leave well enough
alone. Jack looks at her (about the most serious I have seen him)
and says "You know why, Jen, because I still love you."
Jen stands there with her mouth hanging open.
Mimi Goes OVER The Edge
The teens are all on the boat heading for the island. Everyone is
excited, except Jan and Mimi (who is having a real pity party).
Philip is moping around and Cynthia makes a play for him. Shawn
is helping Paul navigate the map and Mr. Woods is handing out
assignments. Paul warns Shawn that the island is dangerous and
informs him that he is going to stay on the island with them and
keep an eye on them to keep them out of trouble. He questions him
about Belle and asks just what are they up to. Kevin, Susan and
Penelope are talking about the island as Kevin dazzles them about
his knowledge of how the islands were formed. Then they talk
about the TV show "Weakest Link" (man, is NBC plugging
this show or what???) Kevin says that even Anne Robinson (the
host) would be impressed with him. He informs them that Anne was
named after Robinson Crusoe and Susan calls him on it. She and
Penelope make fun of Kevin's lame attempt at a joke, which hurts
his ! feelings. Jan informs Jason that when they get home, she
plans on getting a lawyer and suing Chloe for defamation of
character and he tells her to just let it go. (you GO Jason!)
Philip lets Mimi have it for being a follower to Jan. She turns
it back and lets him have it for not believing Chloe. She says
that he was worse to Chloe than her and Jan combined. Shawn (now
joined by Belle) tell Paul that they are on a mission for his
grandmother. Although, they tells him that they are going to
photograph exotic birds. Belle comments that the island is
beautiful and Paul (what a sleaze) says it would be the perfect
place for her and her boyfriend to "get it on". (The
look on her face is priceless!) She walks off as Shawn defends
her honor (how cute). Mimi's tongue lashing hits Philip hard and
Belle tries to offer him some comforting words (she says she
sounds like her mother here). She tells him he needs time to heal
and that in time things will get better. She says that maybe it !
is best that Chloe didn't come. She says that if they work it
out, both of them will be better people. He thanks her for her
support and for being such a great person and friend. Mimi
continues to feel sorry for herself and says (sarcastically) what
a WONDERFUL trip this is going to be. The real captain (now
conscious) comes up and questions Paul as to what he is doing.
Paul says he covered for him but when they get to the island, he
can take the boat back, he is staying with the kids. The boat
lurches after hitting a sandbar (or something) and Mimi goes
flying overboard (head first). The kids are all shaken around and
Belle hits the deck, with Philip crashing down on top of her. She
is unconscious and as Philip tries to revive her, notices she has
a wound on the side of her head and blood running down her face,
and the credits roll.
Laney
