Show #9060
Director: Roger Inman
Tape Date: 4/28/01
Another exciting show...as the dust settles at Tuscany...but in
other parts of town, things are heating up. Nancy lets off a
little steam ;-) and bid goodbye to little JT. Thumbs up to
Melissa Reeves (Jen) for her scenes!
The Night The Lights Went Out In Salem
Part One - Tuscany
In case you miss it today, there is a replay of the explosion
scenes at Tuscany. We also see (from Rolf's point of view) how
things transpired at Maggie's car. She has the package in her
hands as Stefano rushes out and snatches it away from her and
tosses it and throws her to the ground. Rolf says that he has
killed Stefano. The smoke clears to show the almost total
devastation at Tuscany with debris and bodies strewn all around
the floor. Bart can't believe that Stefano and Maggie are dead as
Rolf goes to check on them. Stefano is okay and alert and chases
Rolf away before Maggie comes to. She wonders how he knew about
the bomb. She immediately blames Stefano but he explains that he
figured it out by what she told him about the caller. She becomes
a bit hysterical and apologizes. A cook/waiter comes out and
tells them that it's bad inside and tells them that John and
Marlena are helping the injured. Stefano is sure that Lexie is
helping as well. Inside, Marlena and John have recovered, as well
as Bo and Hope and they begin to help others and try to figure
out what happened. Bo tries to call the station, but it won't go
through. Philip and Chloe are also okay and Nicole calls for help
for Victor, who is shaken up pretty badly. Bo and Philip help him
and try to take him to the hospital, but find the road is blocked.
Hope and Marlena immediately suspect Stefano is responsible.
Stefano helps Maggie inside and she tells about the bomb in her
car and how Stefano saved her life. He begins to look for Lexie
but no one has seen her and they begin to panic. Rolf tells Bart
it's time for the lights to go out in Salem (Bart says like in
Georgia, LOL). The next explosion hits and the lights go out in
Tuscany as everyone grabs candles. Everyone is searching for
Lexie in the rubble and Stefano is hysterical. Victor says he is
okay and wants to help, but Nicole won't let him and volunteers
herself and Chloe (who refused to call and check on Nancy).
Stefano continues to scream for Lexie and Bo tells him to just
shut upm if she had heard him, she would have answered by now (LOL).
Marlena sees a foot sticking out from under a pile of debris and
they begin to dig. They find her unconscious and badly injured.
John begins to act strange and has flashbacks of war (uh-oh, it's
"Merc-John" emerging). He begins to bark orders at
everyone as Stefano begs John to save Lexie, saying that he can't
lose her. John and Marlena begin to feverishly work on her as she
stops breathing momentarily. John has Stefano call for a chopper
as they continue to work on her and he watches in horror.
Part 2 - Belle and Shawn
Belle and Shawn are walking home as they talk about Brady and
then JT. They talk about their plans for the summer. He wants to
get a job on a fishing boat to earn some money (so his folks can
save for JT). Belle asks him if he is going to the Last Blast and
after no answer, she gives up and gets on the elevator. He stares
at her for a moment and then joins her (saying it's the
gentlemanly thing to do). They both press the button at the same
time which leads to an awkward moment. Once in the elevator, the
power goes out and Belle begins to get claustrophobic. They try
to get out the top and then the door, but to no avail. Belle
begins to panic, but is at least glad that Shawn is with her and
she isn't alone there. She remembers she has her cell phone and
calls Brady to come and help them.
Part 3 - Glen and Barb
Glen and Barb were both restless and couldn't sleep and drive
around Salem (they keep hearing sirens, but don't know what is
going on). They see the lights go out and wonder what is going on.
They eventually spot the lab across the street and decide to park
and wait for morning. That way, the Carvers can't pull a fast one
on them. The building explodes and we see cars being tossed
around and exploding as well.
Part 4 - Craig and Nancy
Roman, Craig and Nancy are in the car rushing to the hospital.
Nancy keeps moaning and groaning, saying she isn't going to make
it. Roman calls in and learns that there have been several
explosions around town. They get to the ER (which is in the dark)
as Nancy continues to scream and cry. They do tests on her and
are waiting the results as she cries and Craig comforts her. She
wants to sit up. When she does she lets out a HUGE belch (sounds
like a fog horn, good grief) as life in the ER stops and everyone
stares at her. She says that the pain is gone. Then she says she
is tired and passes out. Everyone stares as Craig looks around
sheepishly.
Part 5 - Jack, Jen & JT
Greta is still at Jack's, trying to leave, but he won't let her.
He turns on the radio and grabs her and starts dancing with her.
(Geesh, that music sure is loud, that Abby must be a sound
sleeper!). The music stops for a news bulletin, telling about the
explosions. He calls Bo & Hope's, but gets no answer. He
learns that the Park Drive Bridge was blown and that Jen would be
driving home that way and panics. Meanwhile, Jen's car is hanging
off the bridge as she comes to. She looks out and sees the river
and panics. She calls for JT, but can't see or hear him (she is
pinned behind the steering wheel). She hears her cell phone
ringing (Jack calling) but can't get it. Finally, she hears JT
crying and is relieved. She tries to reach back and close the
back door, but the car starts rocking. Jack reaches the bridge (as
Jen sees the car lights and thanks God someone is there). Jack
has to leave and drive around since he is on the wrong side of
the bridge. Back at the house, Abby is awake now and Greta tries
to keep her calm. Jack takes another road and when he gets back
to Jen's side of the bridge, he calls on his phone for help, but
gets put on hold. He tells her to keep calm and not panic.
Finally, he loses contact on his phone. Jen looks in the rear
view mirror and sees that JT is right beside the door and afraid
he will fall. Jack holds onto the back end of the car as she
tries again to shut the door. The car rocks and JT (still in his
car seat) falls out the door down into the river below as Jen
begins to scream. Freeze frame on Jen's face as the credits roll.

Show #9061
Director: Randy Robbins
Tape Date: 4/30/01
Another exciting show...as Jack rescues Jen, John jogs Lexie to
safety and Belle freaks in the elevator! I gave it 4 stars for
Jack, Jen's and Belle's performances today...you could almost
feel their fright and fear.
At Tuscany
As Maggie rushes around setting out candles and gathering towels
for the injured, Nicole helps out by making martini's for her and
Victor (well, what did we expect, huh?). Philip gives Chloe an
update on Lexie (J&M are helping her), but then Chloe vants
to be alone and walks off. As Nicole tells Victor her secret to
coping during a bad incident (by finding something good to keep
her mind off of it) she kisses Victor on the cheek and Philip
witnesses it. He asks what's going on with them. Nicole makes
light of what he saw and he accepts that.
Stefano goes crazy about Lexie, wanting to get her to the
hospital, as John demands there must be a way and rushes out.
Chloe wanders outside and remembers telling Victor and Philip
about Nancy's status at the table earlier. She wonders why she
can't feel anything about if her mother lives or dies. Is she
that much a freak she can't even blend in with the Kiriakis
family? She asks for help from someone and lightning (big time)
starts crashing. (maybe that's her answer?) The lightning reminds
her of that night where she and Philip were together in the rain
and realizes she can't lose him. For the first time she realizes
she has someone in her life that truly loves her and fears it
won't last. Philip watches from nearby. He tries to stay away,
but can't. She asks him to hold and kiss her as she needs to feel
his love.
Inside Victor and Nicole chat about the dinner conversation
earlier. Nicole reminds Victor how well the two of them fit
together (in all ways). Victor tells Nicole he has to break up
Chloe and Philip.
John swaps his shoes with the chef's tennis shoes (both wear size
10 ?) to RUN Lexie to the hospital. John calls for help on his
cellphone (he calls the PD to meet him at the blockage) and then
tells Stefano he came up with an idea to save her. He's going to
carry Lexie to safety. They comment it's four miles to the
hospital.
Marlena calls Belle and she answers her phone in the elevator.
Belle is distraught and Shawn takes the phone away from her and
calmly tells Marlena what happened. Marlena explains Belle is
claustrophobic (I think Shawn figured that out). Shawn tells her
Brady knows they're there and is going to help. Marlena said
she'll send John right over as she tells Belle she loves her and
the phone signal gets noisy. John has Lexie in his arms as
Marlena tells him about the kids in the elevator. Bo tells John
to take Lexie and he'll take care of the kids. (Hello, it's HIS
son in the elevator too, John). (Being a cop and this is an
emergency situation, shouldn't Bo be thinking about calling
headquarters??) No, John said he'll take care of it and rushes
out with Lexie.
Maggie offers to get Stefano something and when he tells her no,
she thanks him for saving her life. He mournfully thinks how his
precious Alexandra was the only one hurt and wonders if this is
the price he must pay. Maggie hands Marlena a bottle of water as
Stefano walks away to pray John saves Lexie. Maggie tells her how
Stefano saved her life.
Bo comforts Hope and tells her he misjudged John. He admits
telling John he'd like to kill the man who made Hope pregnant. He
asks what she was going to tell him earlier and she just hugs and
tells him she loves him. He tells her how John told him to
refocus all his attention on raising JT and he knew at that time
John wasn't JT's father. Marlena tells them what's happening (with
John and Lexie) and Hope asks Bo if they can get to Jen's house
to check on JT.
John jogs with unconscious Lexie's arms draped around his neck.
An exhausted John meets up with a squad car (parked on the other
side of the blockage) waiting for him and hands over Lexie with
orders for them to rush her to the hospital. He calls Marlena on
his cell and tells her Lexie is on the way to the hospital and
Stefano asks to speak with John. Stefano tells John how much he
owes him and John tells him he'll remind him about that. He asks
to speak with his wife and Stefano hands the phone back to
Marlena. John tells her he's on the way to the penthouse now and
to tell Bo and Hope too. They tell each other they love each
other.
At The Lab
Barb and Glen sit in their car covered with debris, but are
otherwise ok. Glen turns on the radio hearing about the bombs
going off around Salem. He asks if the bombs were because of them
(he's new in Salem and still has brain cells).
Claustrophobia Anyone?
Yup, my heart goes out to Belle as she feels the walls closing in
on her. Brady knocks on the wall nearby asking what floor they're
on and Shawn thinks between 10 and 11, but not sure as Belle begs
Brady to get her out of there. While Brady goes down the stairs
as fast as he can on two canes, Shawn unsuccessfully tries to
calm a panic stricken Belle down by reminding her how scared they
were on the island, but all turned out okay. He asks her who her
favorite actor is (she tells him Freddie Prinze, Jr.) as he goes
off about a movie Freddie was in and his co-star and a movie she
was in, yada yada to get her mind off things. Doesn't work, but
nice try Shawn. They hear Brady outside the door as Brady knocks
on the elevator door. He knocks on the apartment door across from
the elevator (Apartment 34, so much for 10th or 11th floor Shawn,
LOL!, more like 3rd floor) and asks for something he can use to
pry the door open with. The pretty resident tells him her husband
isn't home, but she'll dig in the closet and comes out quickly
with a pry bar (yeah, always keep one hanging in my coat closet).
Hallways (and apparently her apartment) are well lit (??) as he
starts prying the elevator. Doesn't work and he asks about a door
in the top of the elevator. Shawn tells him it's stuck and Brady
tells himself he'll climb down the elevator shaft and open the
door from the outside. Brady struggles up the flights of stairs
with his canes. He yells down when he gets there and Shawn tells
him to wait for help. Brady knows Belle and can't wait.
On The Rocky Bridge
A replay of Jen yelling to Jack to hurry to help as JT's about
ready to fall out the door. As she reaches out to close the door
she watches JT (in his car seat) fall while looking up at her
before hitting the water (like in the airplanes, I guess his car
seat becomes a flotation device?) Jen screams JT several times in
shock and passes out. Jack sees the car wobble and rushes over to
counter balance it to keep it from falling, frantically urging
her to wake up. She does and urges him to go help JT, but he
tells her first he has to help her. When she keeps insisting he
reminds her that HER baby (Abby) needs her too. He asks her to
push her seat back (now that the car seat's not blocking it). As
he holds the car down she cries and tries to move the seat. (Can't
believe no one else was heading towards the bridge and comes by
there..if they know about the bridge, Salem PD should be there
putting flares up) After Jen gets her seat pushed back, he tells
her to unbuckle her seat belt and get in the back seat, closer to
the bridge. As poor Jack is probably getting a hernia holding the
car down, Jen crouches in the back seat and picks up JT's rattle
and cries about the baby after crawling through the front seats.
Jack tries to calm her down and urge her towards the back door,
which she finally does. She reaches out for him and the car
moves, so she grabs the car door to hold on and hangs from it.
Jack tells her to jump to a nearby pole and she does as he lets
go of the car and it plunges below. Jack climbs over and pulls
Jen off the pole and to safety. They hug each other tightly as
she cries about JT. He holds onto her as she turns around and
looks down. She tells him they have to find JT, dead or alive as
the credits roll.

Show #9062
Director: Stephen Wyman
Tape Date: 5/1/01
Salemites deal with the aftermath of the explosions ... Brady
continues to try & rescue Belle & Shawn, as John arrives
to help out, we are "treated" to a pec parade, Lexie
has a bad dream, while Jack & Jen turn in more awesome scenes
as the search begins for JT.
At Tuscany
Stefano tries to reach the hospital, eventually contacting Craig,
who tells him Lexie's condition is very serious, and they are
running tests. Stefano promises anything money can buy - a new
wing, research facilities, whatever they want, just save his
daughter. Craig tells him all the money in the world cannot buy a
miracle, but maybe a prayer will. Rolf comes up to Stef, who
proceeds to punch him out, while berating him for the injuries
Lexie has sustained. Rolf babbles out his excuses, but Stef will
have none of it. Stef gets very emotional thinking about his
beloved Lexie. Eventually his chauffeur arrives, saying the road
is open, and Stef tells him to head for the hospital.
Bo & Hope are still frantically trying to reach Jen on the
cell phone. They get word that the bridge is out, realize Jen's
new house is on the other side of it, and once they realize the
road is now open, they, too, leave.
Chloe & Philip are in the Tuscany garden, and talk a bit
about Nancy. They decide to walk to the hospital (Phil makes sure
Chloe can walk far in the shoes she is wearing) by climbing over
the rocks, etc. on the road.
Salem University Hospital
is a very busy place, with all the injured being brought in.
Nancy is awake, listening to nurses laughing about her "heart
attack" that was cured by the a burp heard all the way to
Chicago. She has a flashback of the incident. (sorry, we do not
need to see or hear this again.....was not funny to me) Chloe
& Philip arrive, with Chloe asking if Nancy Wesley is dead.
The two nurses explain about indigestion often being mistaken for
a heart attack, and vice versa, and how one should always have it
checked, but have to mention Nancy's loud burp relieving her.
Though they ask Chloe if she wants to see Nancy, Chloe says no,
why should she, she might have to burp her. (Smack that girl,
this is your mother). Nancy overhears all.
When Craig comes to see Nancy, she tells him, wondering what she
has to do to make Chloe like Nancy even a tiny bit. Craig tells
her to reveal the name of Chloe's father, telling her how much he
loves her, and if she was raped he would help her deal with
everything. Nancy says it is private, Craig mentions her "indiscretion"
& Nancy blurts out "Indiscretion - I had no choice"
but immediately shuts up, and feigns some dizziness. She asks
Craig to go home, he agrees.
Lexie is brought in, has undergone some tests and still
unconcious. She dreams of being in a garden, everyone in white.
Stefano is holding Isaac, telling her how he promised she would
have her son. Glen & Barb arrive, insisting they want his son.
White bars appear and Stefano is behind them, as a judge
sentences him for stealing this baby. Hope arrives with JT,
insisting they not take Isaac from Lexie. And here comes good ol'
Marlo, white boots, short white sequin number, drinking from her
quart bottle of booze - LOL - saying she wants her baby. Barb is
holding Isaac, and Marlo rips the front of Glen's tank top,
telling him Marlo is back. Glen tells Barbie bye bye and kisses
Marlo. Lexie begins to babble about the baby switch.....&
Marlo takes JT from Hope, who then insists on taking Isaac from
Lexie. She says no, no, you can't have my baby. End of dream, she
sits up on the bed, yelling no, no, my baby. Nurses roll her to a
spot near Nancy who says Hi. Lexie is semi-concious, murmuring
about the babies being switched. Nancy hears every word.
Outside, Chloe tells Phil she was only concerned that she might
have caused the death....not about Nancy dying. (Talk about cold
and unfeeling). Phil refuses to believe Chloe is so wrapped in
herself, babbling about his love for her. Tells her to come with
him, he is taking her somewhere.
At The Bridge
Jack & Jen are down by the river. She is hysterical, crying
that she killed the baby. They see the car and she imagines it
fell on JT. Jack assures her it did not, and tries to console her.
He insists the plastic car seat would float (so they are going
for a Moses thing here??) They continue to look around and run
into Roman. (These two are so great together, wow) Jack tells him
what happened and Roman orders a search party and paramedics.
Roman wonders how he is going to tell Bo & Hope about this.
Jack talks to the paramedics about Jen's trauma & guilt,
& the need to get her calm. They give her a sedative. The
search party reports to Roman that the river narrows in just a
half mile, but there are lots of rocks there. Also that tho the
water level is usually only 2 1/2 feet, there has been lots of
rain lately. Meanwhile Glen & Barb are driving around (I
cannot imagine where they are headed, since the lab blew up), and
hear on the radio about the various places being blown up,
including the lab. Glen snaps the radio off, saying they are not
going to get away with it. They see the bridge is out, and wonder
what all the cops and vehicles are all about. As he changes
direction, Barb asks where he is going, & he insists he will
find a way to get across that river and get his son.
At The Penthouse
John arrives, talks to the doorman, runs up 32 flights of stairs
to the roof, discarding his shirt along the way. Yep, he is in
his superman strength mode. Brady has started to climb down,
telling Belle he is too mean to get hurt - (now ain't that the
truth) falls a bit, but regains his hold on the ladder steps, and
reaches to grab the elevator cables. He also is shirtless (told
you it was a pec parade). As he tells John not to come down, he
falls to the top of the elevator. Belle is hysterical inside,
Shawn trying to calm her, but she gets better. Suddenly the
elevator starts moving. John tries to pull a couple levers to get
it to stop, but it doesn't. (where's the maintenance man for this
building anyway?) John breaks off a pipe, and presses it against
the motor, with sparks flying (like welders have). He is pouring
sweat, but succeeds in stopping the elevator, reaches down hoists
an unconscious Brady on his shoulder and lays him down as it
fades out and the credits roll.

Show #9063
Director: Randy Robbins
Tape Date: 4/24/01
Another gripping show as Bo and Hope are searching for JT, John
rescues his kids (well, 2 of them so far) and Jack helps Jen
who's still in shock (Matt and Missy give another stellar
peformance today!!) During all of this, Philip and Chloe frolic
in the woods.
Philip & Chloe
Chloe and Philip are driving to his "surprise" location.
(Neither of them are phased apparently by all the terror that
struck Salem.) He teases her about being too mature and serious
for a teen and she lightens up, even sings along with a song a
little and hangs her head out the window saying she's a teen and
has the best boyfriend in the world. She asks if that was funny
enough and he hugs her close. He tells her he loves her and when
she has a hard time saying it back, he tells her he knows. Later
they walk into the woods with Philip carrying a toolbox. Chloe
jests about movies having guys with tools in the woods and if he
pulls a chainsaw out of his toolbox, she is so out of there. She
is clueless what he intends to do. Later we come back to find
Philip carved their initials (P&C) on the tree. He figures
that tree has been there 50 years and has that long left to go.
She's touched and almost speechless by it. He has her close her
eyes as he finishes his handy work. She opens them later to see
P&C 4 ever in a heart on the tree and she is close to crying
that someone like him feels that way about her. He likes making
her happy and they kiss. She figures this must be a dream. For so
long all she had was her clothes, glasses, singing and anger. The
heart on the tree makes her feel like she doesn't need anything
else. He kisses her and tells her he loves her again, knowing one
day she'll say it back. She grabs his head and pulls it to her to
give him another kiss. He turns on the car radio and wants to
dance with Chloe. They do a choreographed dance to LeAnn Rime's
"I Need You" and then we see a flashback of them
dancing at last years LAST BLAST DANCE, their ice dancing
together and the barn scene on the blanket before coming back to
them swinging in circles holding hands.
At The Penthouse
Shawn pries the elevator doors open to find they're only a foot
away from Belle's floor (amazing!). Belle is glued to the back of
the elevator, afraid to move, and refuses to go first. Shawn
jumps out to show her how easy it is, then calmly talks her over
to him and helps her out. (he is such a sweetie). She hugs him in
gratitude, then starts calling for Brady. She opens the stairway
door just in time for John (timing is everything) to come through
carrying Brady on his back (man, he deserves a massage after all
the lifting he's done) Shawn helps get Brady off John's back (wish
it were that easy to get him off Marlena's ;-). John and Shawn
put Brady on the couch and try to call 911. Brady wakes up and
tells him he just needs an aspirin. He laughs saying he didn't do
the bombs, it must have been Marlena. Belle slaps him telling him
this is not the time to kid.
Later, John comes downstairs from his bedroom (hopefully showered)
and in clean clothes and sees Brady's got a big knot on his head.
Marlena walks in and Belle squeals when she sees her. The
emotions of the evening hit Marlena and she starts crying and
notices Brady on the couch. They assure her he's okay and she
asks John why he left her there and he has the car keys. He gets
a little upset telling her his son fell trying to rescue Belle
and she apologizes. She tells him she has some very bad news and
he gives her that infamous John squint, wondering what it is. He
asks if Lexie didn't make it, but she struggles telling him about
Jen and JT. She didn't know Shawn was there (must have been in
the kitchen) as he asks about his brother. She tells them about
Jen and JT as Shawn asks in a broken voice if his brother is dead.
John swipes the items on the desk on the floor as everyone turns
around and stares at him. Marlena knows he's exhausted after all
he's done tonight. Belle and Shawn rush off to help find JT and
when John suggests he go too, Marlena and Brady both tell him
he's done enough for the night. She quietly reminds him that Bo
and Hope will be there. John goes over and hugs Brady and wails
MY SON as he hugs him. Marlena (and we) know he's referring to JT.
He turns to look at Marlena and she understands and wishes him
luck with finding JT. He kisses her and thanks her for
understanding, promising to call.
Now alone together, Marlena rushes to help Brady, who's head is
bleeding. She tells him he probably should have an x-ray, but he
tells her she doesn't have to pretend she cares just for him and
she tells him she does care. He doesn't believe her and walks off.
Shawn and Belle run down the 32 flights of stairs and she asks to
catch her breath in the lobby. He can't believe his brother is
dead as she (neither are breathing very hard) tells him they'll
find him. Belle hugs him.
The Search For JT
Roman arrives at Tuscany looking for Bo and Hope. A rescue worker
tells him he can't come in there (why not?) and he tells him he's
the with the PD. He finds Marlena bandaging a woman's arm. She
tells him that John took off with their car keys (give him a call
Marlena, he'll run over and carry you home) when Roman asks where
Bo and Hope are. He's so insistent to know their where abouts,
she finally clues in and asks whatsup. He tells her what happened
and she asks if John knows. Roman doesn't know (why should he
care if John knows?)_as his first priority is to find Bo and Hope.
Marlena states whoever did this should burn in hell and rushes
out as Roman tells her that he will drop her off at the penthouse
on the way to Jennifer's house.
Bo and Hope are driving and Hope still gets an "all circuits
are busy" message on the phone. She senses something is very
wrong and figures it's JT.
By the river, Jack hugs Jen (who's sitting up on the stretcher)
as she cries on his shoulder about how she killed the baby. You
can see it's tearing him up seeing her in so much mental anguish
as he tries to convince her it's not her fault. The paramedic
tells Jack he should take Jen home and see her doctor in the
morning as she went through so much that night. She asks Jack
what she's going to tell Hope. Jack borrows a rescue worker's
cell to call home. He asks if Bo and Hope are there and when
Greta tells him no, he asks if she'll stay there with Abigail.
She tells him yes and continues playing games with Abby (send
that kid to bed!). Bo and Hope rush in minutes later, asking
where the baby is. Greta sends Abby (who knows something is wrong)
up to wash the chocolate off her face so she won't get Greta in
trouble for giving it to her) and tells Bo and Hope all she knows
is she and Jack overheard about the bridge being blown up and
Jack's on his way there now. Bo interrogates Greta about what she
knows. All she knows is what they heard on the radio and she
didn't have the tv on as she didn't want to alarm Abby. Bo
decides to call the station, but at that moment Jack walks in
holding Jen tightly to his side. Jen keeps crying, apologizing
and saying she tried so hard as Jack sits her on the couch. Abby
runs in and Jen hugs her daughter tightly. Greta rushes up to Jen
and helps her upstairs, saying she has to lie down. Bo grabs Jack
and demands to know what happened. Jack tells them about the
bridge and when Hope wants to know where her son is, Jack tells
her he doesn't know. Hope breaks down into Bo's arms as Bo looks
at Jack like it's Jack's fault the bridge blew up. Jack tells
them about how JT was strapped into the back of Jen's car in
Isaac's car seat and how Jen tried so hard to get him, but he
fell out. Hope breaks down and asks if JT is dead, but Jack tells
them they don't know where JT is. Bo asks how he and Jen could
just leave the scene, but Jack assures Bo there's a huge search
party and he had to bring Jen home as she's hysterical. Roman
walks in (guess nobody knocks nowadays) and Hope asks about JT.
They haven't found him yet, but cops from surrounding towns are
showing up to help with the search. Bo wants to go, but Roman
feels Hope needs him more. Bo offers to drop Hope off at Alice's,
but Hope wants to go too and they all head out as Jack asks them
to call when they know anything. Greta comes downstairs and tells
Jack that Jen fell asleep the second her head hit the pillow. She
asks what happened and he tells her. He's so worried about Jen
and Greta tells him how good he is for Jen. Upstairs Jen tosses
in her bed remembering what happened.
Abby rushes down and tells Jack she can't sleep. He tells her
it's in her job description, but doesn't make her go back
upstairs. Greta watches as he holds Abby, remembering when she
was a baby and how thankful he and Jen were knowing they had such
a healthy, happy little baby. Greta leaves after giving Abby a
kiss goodbye.
Roman is driving Bo and Hope (in the back seat of the squad car)
to the bridge with the red light flashing (no siren?) Hope
imagines what JT's going through as she breaks down on Bo's
shoulder. He reminds her what a fighter JT is after all he's gone
through with the FAS and surgeries and they're not going to give
up on him now. Hope tells Bo this never would have happened if
she hadn't let Jennifer take JT home. They mention Shawn and know
he'll want to help search for JT as they see lights ahead,
knowing they're almost there as the credits roll.

Kristian Alfonso & Peter Reckell (Hope & Bo) take up
where Matt & Melisa (Jack & Jen) left off. They, along
with Jason Cook (Shawn) give gut-wrenching performances as the
search for JT continues. Also, Nancy has the fear of God put into
her. Note to TPTB...PLEASE give Chloe & Philip a rest. They
detract from an otherwise dynamic episode.
Chloe & Philip
Chloe and Philip are still by the river and she is crying, happy
for the way he makes her feel. He tells her that she is special
as she talks about how she years for a normal life like his. He
points out that his life is far from normal. She tells him that
their relationship is unbalanced and that he spends so much time
trying to make her happy and she offers nothing to the
relationship. She wishes she could be understanding of his
feelings and problems. They talk about his mom and Philip tells
her that he was just too embarrassed to tell her about it before.
He says that it kills him to think of people laughing at her new
life. She encourages him to talk to his dad about the situation
and get him to help Kate, but Philip is sure he wouldn't. Philip
says that his father isn't the man he thought he was. Chloe
deduces that Victor hates her (yes, Chloe, EVERYTHING is about
YOU. Get over it!) Philip tells her if he has to choose between
her and his father, he will choose her. He talks about how
devoted his mother was to Victor during his time in the nursing
home, but once out, he changed his attitude towards her. Philip
hates the way that he treats her now. He talks about Nicole being
around so much and Chloe wonders if there is something going on
there. Philip doesn't think so, but isn't so sure. He tells her
that he is upset at how Victor treated her at dinner and that if
he doesn't like Chloe, there is no chance he will change. 2
things Victor Kiriakis doesn't do is change his mind, and forgive.
Philip suggests that they run away together, but as he is
talking, Chloe spots activity on the other side of the river and
seems more interested in what is going on than what Philip has to
say.
University Hospital
We get a replay of Lexie being wheeled into recovery with Nancy.
Lexie begins to babble about the babies being switched as Nancy
listens on. Stefano rushes in and tries to shut her up as Craig
also rushes in and Lexie continues to babble. Abe arrives in the
lobby (with Isaac in tow) looking for Lexie. Brenda assures him
that Lexie is okay, but he needs to wait before going in to see
her. She offers to take Isaac. Roman arrives with a search
volunteer who was injured. Abe wants to know what is going on.
When we get back to them, Roman has explained about the bombs.
Neither of them believe that JT could have survived his ordeal.
Abe thinks that perhaps Stefano was involved, but Roman explains
that he and Lexie were there at Tuscany.
Back in recovery, Stefano immediately offends Craig and Lexie
continues to babble. Craig and Nancy ask what she is talking
about and Stefano tries to do damage control, explaining about
Glen and Barb trying to take Isaac (but they don't buy that
explanation). Craig asks Stefano to leave, so he corners Nancy
and demands to know what she heard and threatens her if she tells
anyone. Meanwhile, Craig tries to calm Lexie down as she
hysterically begs him to help her. Nancy is terrified of
Stefano's threats as he assures her that if she says ANYTHING, he
will sue her and Craig for everything they have, just to punish
them. Lexie drifts off and dreams that Glen and Barb are there,
trying to smother her. Actually, it's Craig and he is trying to
give her oxygen. Nancy starts to stammer and is clearly terrified
of Stefano's endless threats. Lexie begins to fight Craig,
screaming and flailing around everywhere, thinking he is trying
to kill her. Stefano rushes over to the commotion and warns Craig
if he harms Lexie, he will kill him.
The Search For JT
Bo and Hope are at the search site in hysterics as Shawn and
Belle arrive. Hope hugs onto Shawn tightly and sobs
uncontrollably. John also arrives as Belle sees him and asks him
why he is there. He tells her that he is there as she is, to help.
John tries to get her to go home, but she is determined to stay
with Shawn. She tells John that she loves JT too, just as if he
were HER brother (oh, Belle, if you only knew). Hope is falling
to pieces as Bo and Shawn try to comfort/reassure her. Bo holds
her and promises they will find him. Later, we see Hope (now in
Shawn's jacket) frantically searching through the weeds along the
riverbank as Bo tries to get her to stop and take a break. Bo
tells her that it has been a long time and that they are going to
start to drag the river as she falls to pieces in his arms. Bo
finally persuades her into letting Shawn take her home and he
promises to call if there is any news. Exhausted, she gives in.
John tries to get Bo to go with them, but he refuses. John tells
Bo not to give up as they continue to search. Bo thanks him for
being there to help. As the equipment is set up to drag the
river, Bo is worried about Shawn and Hope. As the dragging
begins, Bo says (to himself) that he only wants to hold JT one
more time.
Shawn, Hope and Belle arrive home as Shawn continues to comfort
his mom. She sees JT's shoes and freaks out, running upstairs.
Now, it's Shawn's turn to break down as Belle watches on. She
offers to go make tea for Hope, but Shawn stops her, not wanting
her to leave him. He admits he isn't doing as well as she thinks.
She hugs him as he continues to sob. Upstairs, Hope is in the
nursery, having flashbacks of JT. She picks up one of his toys
and prays to God to save him. Shawn thanks Belle for being there
for him and she assures him that she will be there as long as he
needs her. He wants to go and check on his mom, but wants to do
something first. He kneels to pray and Belle joins him.
Meanwhile, Glen and Barb are still driving around town, not
knowing exactly what to do or where to go. She suggests that they
just leave town now, without the baby. A huge argument ensues.
She wants to leave Isaac where he is pointing out that Abe and
Lexie are good parents and will be good to him. But Glen is
determined to get his son. They stop on the side of the road and
continue to argue. Finally, she apologizes to him. They sit by
the river and talk as Glen begins to have second thoughts and
says that maybe it WOULD be better if they left Isaac where he
was. They see something in the water.
Back at the Brady house, Hope continues to pray, saying it will
take a miracle to save JT. She prays that God will give them that
miracle. As we hear her words, we see Glen and Barb pulling the
baby from the river. Glen sees the name ISAAC on the car seat and
believe it to be Isaac. Both he and Barb stare at each other in
shock as the credits roll.
