Hope and Jen continue their talk as Bo, (just)Shawn and JT have a
"boys night out" at the pub. Lexie demands the truth
from her father.
Hope and Jen Continued
Hope and Jen continue their chat, but are interrupted when Shawn
and Bo come home. Bo suggests a "boys night out" and
decide to take JT along with them. As they leave, Hope jokes (in
the true spirit of Survivor) not to vote anyone out of the tribe
(LOL, I think she was talking about JT and his stinky diaper). As
they leave, Jen tells Hope what a wonderful family she has. Hope
wants to hear more about this Colin guy, but Jen says that she
thinks it was just all in her head. She calls herself pathetic
but Hope promises not to judge her. She says that now she feels
that Jack has even more power over her than before. She explains
how when Colin left Africa, she followed him to Ireland and that
he wasn't so pleased to see her there. (He asked her WHY she was
there). He told her that he though of her as a "chum"
and nothing more. She talks about how nice he was to her in
Africa and truly thought he cared for her. She says once in
Ireland, he
treated her differently and ended up sneaking off. She calls
herself a "lovestruck teenage girl", but she is
actually relieved that she will never see him again. She tells
Hope that she feels like an idiot for following him and that she
was out of her league. Hope reassures her that she is beautiful,
intelligent, etc. and would NEVER be out of her league. Jen
appreciates the kindness and thanks her for being such a good
friend, but now she must go home to Jack. Hope has an idea and
invites her to spend the night there and Jen decides to take her
up on her offer. Sure she can get home before Abby wakes up, she
isn't even going to call Jack to tell him where she is.
Meanwhile, Bo, Shawn & JT arrive at the pub, much to the
delight of Grandpa Shawn and Caroline. (just)Shawn and Bo joke
about how neglected they are over all the attention JT is getting.
They haul him away to show him off to everyone as Bo and (just)Shawn
talk about how Bo's attitude has changed towards JT in the past
few months. Grandpa Shawn decides to call his sister in Ireland
and(guess who answers the phone. You got it, Colin. Shawn asks if
all is okay and Colin (we don't see his face) explains he is
lying low after all the trouble Bo caused there. He tells Shawn
to keep Bo away. Back at the table, Bo questions (just)Shawn
about girls/dating, etc. and about Belle Black in particular. (just)Shawn
gets kind of flustered as Caroline returns with JT. Bo calls JT
his buddy and can't imagine life without him. (Another
foreshadowing).
At The Deveraux House
Jack is asleep on the couch and hears a noise outside. He jumps
up, thinking it's Jennifer then he thinks it's a burglar.
Actually, it's Greta coming by with some accessories for the
house. She decides to leave them at the door and sneak away
quietly. Not so, Jack comes rushing out the door with a frying
pan (as a weapon) and falls over the stuff. He invites her in and
doesn't even offer to help her. She lectures him on how to treat
women. He takes note and goes for tea. Greta wonders how Jen puts
up with him. Jack loves all the stuff she picked out and Greta
hopes Jen likes it as well. He doesn't know where she is and
thinks Jen is trying to teach him a lesson. Abby comes down,
looking for her mom as Jack jokes about the "princess"
and calls her "Lady Abigail". Greta goes to leave as
Jack offers Abby a cupcake. Outside, Greta thinks he is really
weird, BUT is a good father. Jack and Abby enjoy their cupcakes (Abby
really enjoys hers, she has icing all over her face) as Abby asks
again where mommy is. Jack changes the subject and sends her off
to bed, before he wonders where Jen is as well.
The Carvers
At DiMansion, Lexie is ringing the doorbell, but Stefano won't
let Abe answer it. The phone rings and Stefano tells him THAT is
probably Lexie and for him to get it. No, it's Celeste who is in
a panic, telling him about Glen, Barb and the lawyer at the door.
Abe tells her he will be right there and not to panic. He storms
off (as Lexie hides in the bushes). After he is gone, she comes
in and Stefano hands the phone to her. She gives Celeste
instructions on how to handle the situation and does so as Lexie
listens. She tells her to take the papers and be polite. After
this is done, Glen and Barb wonder what is going on and what the
Carvers are up to. Lexie assures her mom that Abe will be there
soon and that she will call back in five minutes to talk to him.
Abe rushes in and demands to know where Lexie is. Lexie is
furious with her father and demands the truth. They bicker and
she tells him that she knows that Glen is the father of Hope's
baby. She calls and talks to Abe (as he bombards her with
questions). She tells him that she is at Stefano's and they are
going to dinner as he fumes. She tells him that Stefano and
Brandon are trying to help her and for him to just trust her,
much to Abe's dismay. After getting off the phone, Abe asks
Celeste what is going on. She prattles on and on about Stefano's
involvement until Able blows his top. He apologizes to her and
goes to make some calls. After he is gone, to herself, she says
she always had a feeling that Isaac was going to be taken away
from them. At DiMansion, Lexie and Stefano get into it again and
she demands the truth. She tells him about switching the DNA
samples with Hope's baby and Stefano is shocked. She tells him
that she already knew that Bo wasn't the father and wonders how
Glen got Hope pregnant. She demands to know what he is not
telling her about the situation. Stefano says that he had already
told her everything and assures her that Glen is NOT the father
of Hope's baby. She wants to know how he can be so sure and says
that if Stefano is SO sure that Glen isn't the father, then that
means that he KNOWS who is. She stares at him as the credits roll.

Lexie figures out about the baby switch, John FINALLY gets a clue!,
Philip gives Jason what we've all been wanting to do and we
finally get some action with Bo and Hope.
Teen Scene
Jan and Mimi check out the web site at dotCom (oh, that's keeping
it real secret, isn't it?) as some guy asks what they're looking
at. They tell him it's a site for girls. Jan tells Mimi how she
plans to premiere the Chloe's web video on the large screen at
The Last Blast so everyone can see it at the same time. Jan
figures Philip will dump Ghoul Girl as everyone watches her wash
her "orbs" as they call them in her mom's romance books.
Chloe and Belle are sitting on Belle's bed talking about their
favorite singers/groups. Belle likes Macy Gray and Chloe Emandem.
Belle questions their dark lyrics. Philip calls and Chloe teases
him about she's standing in line for Emandem tickets. Philip also
questions their music as Chloe challenges her choice of music.
She kids with him (as Belle snacks on red licorice whips enjoying
Chloe's teasing) that there are plenty of guys in line to protect
her when he expresses his concern for her safety there and will
rush down to pick her up. She tells him where she really is and
he asks why she lied to him (she was kiddin' with ya turkey!). He
suggests they join him and Shawn (cute hand/eye signals between
Chloe and Belle and Philip and Shawn as this conversation goes
down. Shawn almost spits out his soda as Philip tells Chloe he
loves her. Belle comes up with a real good idea, why don't they
take Brady with them (ha!) Shawn teases Philip, who doesn't have
a sense of humor about Chloe he comes to realize. Later Jan,
Jason and Mimi (eating chocolate cake) run into Shawn and Philip.
Jan and Jason start egging on Philip about Chloe and Philip loses
it. He and Jason get into a fight and they take it outside. The
teen group watch (why doesn't Shawn try to stop it?) Eventually
Philip hits Jason (jerk against jock, no surprise who's going to
win) who falls and hits his head on the pavement and is
unconscious. Jan rushes to Jason while the other teens suggest
calling 911. Everyone, except Brady who appears to be proud of
how Philip defends himself, is freaking.
The Penthouse
Brady talks to John about the hearing. John commends Brady's
recovery from the shock of the hearing results. He offers to help
Brady with his therapy. Brady can't stand to say anything nice
and whines about how the penthouse still feels like a prison with
Marlena the warden. He tells his father remembering Marlena
giving him cookies and playing games with him and loving him.
Maybe when she told him she wasn't really his mother she stopped
loving him. Now she'd just like him out of all their lives he
thinks. Marlena listens from the balcony until she can't take it
any more and asks John how long he's going to stand there and
listen to Brady lie to him. John stands there quietly as she
tells Brady she's never said she didn't love him and has tried
every way possible to help. She felt his getting a job would
occupy his mind on other things. She isn't responsible for his
mother's death and John steps in on hearing that. She tells John
she's sick of being held accountable for everything wrong in
Brady's life and John's got to hold Brady accountable. Belle
rushes downstairs telling her to calm down. She tells Brady to
come to dotCom with her and Chloe and he grabs the chance to get
out of there. Brady eyes Chloe for his performance and she
indicates he's doing good. (Poor Marlena) After Brady leaves,
Belle asks Marlena what's happening to her and who is she?
Marlena apologizes that Belle had to see that. John tries to keep
Belle out of it. Marlena tells John how Brady knew she was
standing there on the balcony while he was giving John his line
about trying to get along with her. John doesn't believe it until
Belle tells him that Brady is a good actor and how differently he
acts when alone with her about hating Marlena. All he wants is
for Marlena to leave. Belle leaves and John admits that men are
clueless (LOL) as they get older. It wasn't until Belle confirmed
Marlena's point about Brady that he believed it. He promises to
make the perks a little extra special if Marlena is patient with
him (as he pulls in for a kiss). She starts tearing up, telling
him he's mighty sure of himself as he starts kissing her. (love
how Marlena has gotten her back bone back again!!)
In the hall, Chloe gives Brady a reality check that his life
wasn't as bad as he says. He tells her that he and Marlena
competed for John's time and affection since he was 9 years old.
She was jealous of John's love for Isabella, his mother. He asks
Chloe to keep a lid on what he just told her and reminds her how
she spilled the beans about his grandfather still being alive.
Belle joins them in the hall and asks what's going on. Brady
tells her nothing and suggest they head to dotCom to listen to
some cool tunes.
Who's The Daddy?
Bo returns home and gives Hope a domestic news update that
Shawn's still at the pub and Jen's manning the baby monitor as JT
is asleep in his room. Hope falls into his arms for a long kiss
and suggests they have a go at another baby to play with JT (uh,
how about Isaac?). He picks up on the mention the next baby being
his and asks about it. She defends her stance that she thinks of
Bo as JT's father. Bo NEEDS to know who JT's biological father
really is. He figures JT's father is a man that Gina loved and
realizes it was John. She denies it and asks him to just forget
it. He can't, he has to find out who JT's father is (easy, it's
Glen, haha). She lights a candle and cradles Bo against her
breast (Peter must have hated that scene, haha), saying he's her
husband and the only father of her children. She asks him to make
love to her as he carries her to the bed and obliges.
The Dimera Duo - Lexie Gets The Salem Smarts Award
Lexie demands the truth from Stefano. He refuses to give it, but
she figures it out herself. She rationalizes out how PG didn't
drink that much, mostly champagne, unlike Marlo. She cries
remembering how she felt so sorry that Hope was raising a sick
baby while she had a healthy one. She realizes that the baby's
got switched. She flashes back to the day the baby's were born
and remembers how she and Hope thought the baby's looked
different from when they were born. She cries hysterically and
realizes she and Hope are both going to lose their babies. The
two argue as he reminds her that he told her to not do anything.
She asks if he knew about the baby switch while he doesn't deny
it, doesn't admit it either. She can't believe the nurses messed
up as the id bracelets are like steel and don't just come off. He
just agrees that she obviously got Hope's child and Hope got
Marlo's. She remembers all the agony Hope's endured with JT's
illness and goes to call Hope when Stefano stops her. She asks
God for a sign of what to do. She tells Stefano that the lab will
do another test tomorrow morning with the dna sample they have
left and she'll lose her baby. Stefano orders her to follow his
instructions to the letter and she agrees. Lexie says out loud
that she will not lose her baby to either Glen OR Hope as Isaac's
HER baby as the credits roll.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 9, 2001 (**1/2)
Salemites are in an argumentative mood, Nancy is crushed
by Craig's answer to her questions, & the fighting teens are
taken to the cop shop.
At Brandon's Loft
Brandon flashes back to the computer screen flashing the DNA
results, ponders the why, and tries to unsuccessfully call Lexie.
He attempts to watch TV, but is too restless. He calls Sami (see
below), paces back and forth, then answers a knock at the door.
Ben, the lawyer is very upset at the newspaper headlines (Top
Cops get Off - Brady's case). He complains about the case w/Larry,
and how Brandon has not been around, flying off to Europe, etc.
Brandon replies that he got Larry a job, he's doing well, and
that "life is what happens when you're making other plans".
Brandon says he still intends to bring Carver down, just not in
court.
At Sami's Apartment
Ah, our Sami is still playing mind games with Austin and
definitely winning (this is so easy). She just talks casual,
pretending she realizes she was moving too quickly for Austin and
he was right. She wants someone to sweep her off her feet, carry
her to bed and want to spend the whole day there with her, and
Ausdim (sorry, you Austin fans) swallows it all. Brandon calls,
inviting her and Will over to watch a G-rated movie. She tells
him Will is asleep, and that Austin is there, but says another
time and she will call him. She smoozes Ausdum about all the men
who lied to her.(Alan, Franco, Lucas) and how Austin turned on
her when she was trying to get Will back (guess they both forgot
how Austin left Carrie, and went on the run with Sami, hiding out
in the mountains). Will wakes up, missing Daddy. After Sami gets
him back to bed, she really pours it on, says she never
badmouthed Lucas in front of Will, and really snows him about
Lucas being Will's daddy and entitled to spend time w/him, blah,
blah. She then shocks Ausdim, telling him to leave. As she closes
the door, she thanks her gramma for the advice, and says it had
better work. Out in the hall, a completely snowed Ausduh mutters
to himself that he cannot lose Sami.
At The Wesleys
Craig arrives home to a beautiful laid out dinner table, and
Nancy all dressed up, preparing a scrumptious dinner of prime
rib, baked potato and creamed spinach (she had me til the last
item, lol). She is so happy Chloe won't be there, she'll be able
to breathe. Craig is disappointed as he wanted Chloe there for a
reason. Nancy gets on her high horse, sarcastically mentioning
how the two of them have bonded. Craig suggests she find
solutions instead of harping on the problems. Nancy tells Craig
about Chloe's "huge" friend who came over, and insulted
her by saying that Nancy, too, was fat. Nancy says the girl (she
could or would not give her a name when Craig asked) had such a
pretty face, and it was not healthy for her to be so big. She
then asks Craig if he thinks she is fat. He tries to avoid
answering, saying how he loves her and always has, just as she is.
Nancy persists, and Craig finally says she might be a few pounds
overweight. Nancy gets very upset, then Craig returns to the
subject of Chloe, telling Nancy about consulting Marlena for some
input. Nancy has a hissy fit, Craig says he was trying to find a
way to help "our daughter" and Nancy, in a nasty tone,
says "Our daughter, she is not yours, she is MY daughter".
Craig is very hurt, Nancy apologizes, and he smells something
burning. Nancy runs into the kitchen, returning with a casserole
dish and says, Chloe is not even here and she causes trouble.
Dinner is burned. Craig smiles and says it is a good excuse to
take her out to dinner.
And In The Center Ring
Phillip and Jason are still going at it, as Jason had faked being
knocked out. All the kids are yelling. Shawn tries to stop them a
couple of times & is thrown to the ground, hitting his head.
Brady starts to go, but Chloe trips him, claiming he might
further his present injuries (so, knocking him down to the ground
is o.k., tho?) Sirens are heard as Roman plus a uniform arrive
and break it all up. Chloe is furious at Phillip, telling him she
can fight her own battles, and violence solves nothing. He tells
her he was only defending her and trying to protect her cause he
loves her. (this boy has got a problem, and seems to be headed
for some bigger trouble about his obsession with Chloe, JMHO).
When Roman asks what happened, noone answers. He directly asks
Belle, but Brady harps on her to keep her mouth shut (Please tell
me WHY Brady is hanging around with all these 16 yr. old kids).
Belle clams up. So does Chloe. Roman says he is arresting the
boys. Chloe claims they were just horsing around, and got carried
away. Jan steps up and agrees. Roman questions some adult
onlookers, who don't want to get involved, but give him a hard
time about not stopping real crime, and picking on kids. When the
uniform tries to talk to Roman about community relations, Roman
brushes him off, telling him to go write his report. Jan talks
Mimi into confirming their version of events, which she does.
They whisper about getting back at Chloe at the Last Blast Dance,
and Phillip won't want anything to do with Chloe.
At The K Digs
Nicole looks unhappy, and tells Victor it is because of a
nosedive some stocks took. Victor knows better. Nicole is
thinking about Daddy Dearest, and we hear his voice urging her to
do something, and her pleading she does not want to do it. She
gets up to leave, but Victor stops her. He gets her to talk about
her father getting out of prison, and he tries to comfort her,
saying he will always protect her. She says she has always wanted
someone who could truly do that. She then gets hungry, and they
wonder what Henderson is surprising them with dinner. Victor
wonders what is keeping Phillip. He talks about breaking up Phil
and Chloe, and calling Nancy Wesley into his office for a "talk".
The phone rings, and Henderson says it is the police. Roman tells
Victor that they have arrested Phillip again and he is at the
station. Victor says he will be right there. And the credits roll.

Stomachs are rumbling and grumbling all over Salem, and just like
storm clouds, the Salemites begin to gather at Tuscany.
At Brandon's Loft
The table is set & candles lit as Brandon tells himself he is
no longer waiting around for Sami and is moving on. He answers a
knock at the door, opens it and happily greets his mother - Fay.
He has made her a special dinner, using her famous beef stew
recipe. They talk a bit about his father, but Brandon still
blames Abe for everything. Brandon tells Fay she is still young,
beautiful and should have a good man. After dinner, Fay breaks
the news that Paul (Brandon's father) is probably going to be
released on parole. Brandon hears in his mind, the voice of his
mother pleading with his father to leave her alone, and then
screaming. He tells Fay that if Paul lays one finger on her, he
will kill him.
And Behind Bars
Phillip & Jason, in separate cells, are still arguing about
Chloe. Jason tries to make him see how over the top he is getting
over a little teasing, but Phillip is still very angry. He does
calm down, tho, and worries about what his father will say.
Meanwhile Brady & Chloe arrive at the station and barge into
the office, where Brady demands Phillip be released. He gives the
sergeant a hard time, and when Roman comes out, goads him beyond
belief (someone shove a sock in this guy's mouth). The sergeant
is ready to put both Chloe & Brady into a cell, when Victor
& Nicole show up. Victor & Roman go into Roman's office,
where they have a few words about Phillip's troubles. The boys
are released, & Phillip is not happy that Brady is there,
tho, Chloe assures him that Brady was just concerned about him.
Jason & Phillip shake hands, as Victor tells Phillip that he,
Phil & Nicole are going to Tuscany for dinner. (I thought
Henderson had this great dinner made for Vic & Nik?) Phillip
insists Chloe come along and Victor agrees, Saying they will drop
her off at home to change, take Phillip home so he can change and
he can then pick up Chloe and meet them at Tuscany. They all
leave, Brady turns to Roman and with a smirky smile, says "I
was pretty good, wasn't I. But I have just gotten started".
At Dot Com
Belle & Shawn are yakking it up. Shawn takes off the ice
pack, assuring her he is o.k., after all he plans on joining the
merchant marine and has to be tough. They talk about how
ambivalent he is about joining up tho.....in one way he wants to
see the world, and in another he does not want to leave family
and friends. Shawn brings up the "mystery can", telling
Belle how it somehow vibrated off his nightstand onto the floor.
Belle gets shook up, and relates a nightmare she had about a
pregnant 8-headed spider inside, who gave birth and those spiders
got pregnant and got so full it burst (UGHHHHH). Shawn suddenly
brings the can up, slams it down in front of her, Belle screams (hey,
she can give screaming Mimi a run for her money here) and Shawn
thinks it is so funny, but apologizes to the dot.com staff.
More Than A Spoonful Of Loving
Both John & Marlena in the penthouse, plus Bo & Hope in
their bedroom, are "basking in the afterglow". John
offers to get pizza & beer, but Marlena thinks she is worth
more than that. They decide to go Tuscany, and tho John throws in
a few digs about nosy, gossipy Maggie first, Marlena defends her.
Over at Bo & Hope's, they, too, decide to get dressed up and
go to Tuscany for dinner. (She is still wearing that diamond
necklace (!) but nothing else...shades of Marilyn Monroe, lol)
Since Jen is still there watching TV, they figure she might not
mind staying a bit longer to watch JT (so she wasn't supposed to
stay overnight!) and Bo goes to ask her, telling Hope not to take
too long to get dressed. Cute series here, like in old movies,
with everything very fast....of Hope running to bathroom, to
closet, picking out different dresses, discarding them, and
finally emerging from the bathroom with her hair up, in a green
dress, looking absolutely gorgeous. Bo comes in, still sloppily
dressed as Hope coyly looks over her shoulder, saying "What
took you so long". LOL.
At Di Mansion
Lexie is visibly upset, as Stef tries to calm her down. He tells
her to trust in him implicitly, and makes plans to have dinner
with her at Tuscany. She leaves the room, as Stef says his plans
will have a series of event that will rock Salem to it's core.
Lexie calls Brandon, asking him to keep his promise to not reveal
the DNA match. He assures her he will. Stef comes in, furious at
Lexie for talking to Brandon, & makes her hang up. He tells
her no one must ever know his business. They argue some more and
she leaves to get dressed. (Eliana is getting her a dress from
somewhere) Stef calls Rolf, setting up a plot that includes Bart.
He brags about Lexie becoming a true DiMera and how he is
controling every facet of her life. Lexie, all dressed up, again
sneaks a call to Brandon, trying to warn him about her father. (this
girl just never learns) He is not afraid of him (ah, but you
should be, Brandon). Again Stef walks in, taking the phone away
from her, making her hang up. He lectures her again on keeping
cool, calm and her mouth shut and trusting him. He is wearing a
black opera cape with red lining, and puts a similar one around
her shoulders, looking at the two of them in a mirror.....THE
DIMERAS! (looks to me like Dracula capes...years ago had one for
Halloween.....but perhaps this was the idea - EVIL????)
The Storm Clouds Gather
John & Marlena arrive, overhearing Maggie telling Dave (head
waiter) how Vic kicked out kate at Titan and installed Nicole.
This just gives John more fuel for his impression of Maggie being
a gossip spreader big time. (WHY are they doing this to Maggie?)
Dave shows them to a table and Bo & Hope arrive. Bo is not
happy J&M are there and offers to take Hope some place else.
Hope says no, & they decline being seated with John &
Marlena, but stop by to say hello. John immediately asks about
JT, Bo says "my son is fine", and they go to their
table. Marlena tries to tell John he is being entirely too
obvious, but John says JT is his son and he has a right to ask.
John gets a call about a warehouse he wants to buy for Basic
Black, and leaves to take it on the terrace. Bo takes this
opportunity to sit down and question Marlena about his thoughts
regarding JT's father. At the same time, Maggie sits down with
Hope, asking her if she knows why John has changed so much, is so
edgy. Maggie gets annoyed and then hurt at Hope's response and
leaves. John returns and Bo leaves his table. He questions
Marlena about what Bo wanted, and she tells him Bo is getting
very suspicious. Stefano and Lexie arrive and all heads turn.
Marlena comments that Lexie looks as tho she is in a trance. Hope
cannot understand why Lexie is not home with Abe, since those DNA
results come in tomorrow. John and Marlena do not understand why
Lexie has been spending so much time lately with Stefano. As
Stefano and Lexie are seated, he urges her to stay calm, smile
and look relaxed. It is important they should look like they are
enjoying themselves. Lexie says she will do anything she has to
in order to keep her son. Stefano smiles and says "Spoken
like a true DiMera". Freeze frame on Lexie. And the credits
roll.

Bubble, Bubble, Toil & Trouble....the pot is being stirred
and reaching the boiling point.....
Nearly all the action today takes place at Tuscany but over at Bo
& Hope's house, Jen wakes up from her nap on the sofa to a
ringing cell phone. It's is Jack, wondering where she is and
giving her a hard time about not letting him know, and how upset
Abby was. Jen refuses to tell him where she is or what she is
doing. Abby wakes up and comes downstairs, and Jack gives the
phone to her. Jen tells Abby she is babysitting JT and will be
home later. Jack & Jen spar at bit more on the phone and Jen
hangs up, but calls Hope at Tuscany, asking if it is o.k. to take
JT to her house, since Abby is so out of sorts. Bo & Hope can
swing by and pick him up on their way home. She calls Jack, tells
him she is bringing JT home with her, and then proceeds to pack
the diaper bag, and get the car seat, etc ready for the trip.
At Tuscany
So many conversations at so many different tables as the camera
switches back and forth between them. Everyone looks wonderful
all dressed up, but not having the best of times. Here goes........
Victor & Nicole arrive, and are greeted by Maggie. Nicole
takes offense at Maggie calling her by her first name, when
Victor was called Mr., and asserts herself, demanding a
respectful Miss Walker. Dave shows them to their table. Craig
& Nancy arrive, and stop at John & Marlena's table to say
hello. Nancy informs Marlena that she heard that Marlena gave
Craig some advice earlier about Chloe. Marlena says, not advice,
just some insight. Nancy tells her they don't need it and is
rather sarcastic. Phillip & Chloe arrive (she is minus the
glasses, and his hair is combed at last) and as they are being
shown to Victor's table, Craig stops them, telling Chloe this is
rather late for her to be out on a school night, and she did not
ask permission. Chloe makes a crack about Craig hanging around
"her" (meaning Nancy) and says she is going to join her
friends. Nancy gets upset at Craig for not defending her and
allowing Chloe to talk about Nancy in such a manner in a public
place. Bart arrives, looking around (he has a beard) and when
greeted by Maggie, is swept off his feet, calling her Rita
Hayworth. He seems rather smitten, says a few phrases to Maggie
in his terrible French, and takes a seat at the bar to await a
table, ordering a "Roy Rogers, with a couple extra marachino
cherries". (gotta love that Bart) He questions the bartender
about closing times, how long to clean up, when the help all is
finally gone, and just as the bartender wants to know why he is
asking so many questions, his cell phone rings. It is Rolf (Prowler
1) calling Kangaroo (these guys must have been watching Survivor
too much, lol). He tells him he needs Bart's help to complete the
job. Bart leaves, telling the bartender to watch his drink, he'll
be back to get Rita. LOL Later, we see Rolf thanking Bart for his
help. They are in a car. Bart tells Rolf that the Big Cheese
definitely did not want any killing, and Rolf gives his evil
laugh saying "I'll try my best". Bart says, Uh, oh,
watch out Salem.
Bo & Hope are enjoying their dinner, & when Bo spots
Nancy arriving, he mentions her radio show, and how Nancy always
advises people not to back down. He brings up JT's birth father,
and tries to pin her down as to who it was. He is very sure it
was John, but Hope insists that since John was on his honeymoon
with Marlena when JT was conceived, it was impossible. Hope gets
a phone call from Jen, who asks to take JT to her house. Bo
continues to question Hope and they have words. Hope gets upset,
gets up and leaves.
John & Marlena talk about Bo's suspicions. John is insistent
that since JT is his son, he has a right to be concerned about
him and so what if the truth comes out. Marlena asks if he has
thought about how this would affect his other children. How would
Belle take it. And what about Brady. John gets ticked she brought
up Brady....but she tells him he just doesn't get it. Does he not
realize how Brady would take John having a son with Hope. He
might turn all that anger against Hope. John scoffs at this, and
gets up to dance with his wife. later they are seated, seeing
Hope get up and leave. John wants to follow her to "help"
but Marlena restrains him, telling him to let it be.
Victor teases Phillips a bit about his run in with the law (Earlier,
Chloe had called Phillip "Rocky" and when they arrived,
Nicole referred to him as "the Champ"......both of
these are boxing movies) and Phillip says he was just defending
family, as Vic has taught him. Victor is surprised, asking if
there is something he does not know. Phillip replies that he
loves Chloe, and Victor asks Chloe if she loves Phillip. She
avoids the question....but being pressed, just says she feels
very close to Phillip (wiggled out of that one, lol). She excuses
herself to go to the ladies' room......and PHILLIP FOLLOWS HER!
Nicole tells Victor that Phillip has got it really bad (jeez, too
bad guys cannot go into the ladies room.....he would follow her
into the stall, I think) As they pass Nancy & Craig, Nancy
tells Craig that people should treat others as they would be
treated. And that if Chloe wants to treat Nancy like garbage, so
be it. She mentions her gut reaction at the orphanage was to
leave Chloe there, and she should have listened to her gut. Craig
tells her she knows she does not mean that.
Lexie is still nervous, as she & Stef try to enjoy their meal.
Stef's cell phone rings, it is Rolf calling the Big Cheese (LOL)
& telling him that Alpha & Beta are all a go, and Charlie
will be in 3 minutes. Stef tells him good, make sure it is done
right. Lexie pesters Stef about the baby switch and HOW did it
occur. He blatantly denies having anything to do with it. She is
upset at keeping the secret of Isaac's paternity from Hope, talks
of all the various factors, worrying about Glen demanding another
paternity test. Stefano tells her why worry, she knows Isaac's
DNA will not match Glen's. Lexie calms down. Stef's cell phone
rings again. Rolf says he only has to secure two more locations,
but this is dangerous stuff. Stefano tells him it MUST be done
tonight. "Unless we finish it tonight, the truth will come
out tomorrow morning". Freeze frame on Stef. And the credits
roll.
