Show #9025 (sweetened)
Director: Herb Stein
Tape Date: 3/14/01
Sorry folks... but the feed had some glitches and one segment
stopped about halfway through. They went back and replayed the
whole segment. By doing this, the show ran long and my tape got
cut off. I think it was pretty near the end of the show, but I
didn't get the final scenes. Maybe Linda can add to this later. (But
from what I saw, I doubt I missed much).
Unholy Alliance
Brady and Chloe (aka Sicko and Psycho) argue in Salem Place (after
she watched him and Abe). She congratulates him on his actions
and talks about what a manipulator he is, especially with Dr.
Evans. They argue over who is the worst brat (toss up if you ask
me). He calls her humorless, boring, untalented and not so
attractive. They continue to argue and trade insults and she
insinuates that when he got shot, he got what he deserved for
hounding Dr. Evans. He gives her the poor me story about how he
was mistreated by Marlena when he was raised. She doesn't buy it
and says something about him pouring out his sad little heart to
someone who was given up at birth and raised in foster homes. He
tells her to go away and leave him alone. He hobbles off, but she
follows snipping at him like a little dog after the mailman. He
calls Philip a fool and says that she has no friends, or a soul.
She calls him a sickening broken record. He insists that he is
only trying to help her, but she wants none of his help. He tells
her that she needs to forget he pettiness and hurt feelings and
listen to his advice. He also tells her that she many try to deny
it, but they are cut from the same cloth and are a lot alike.
Together, they just show the world. They talk about when they
first met (pier flashbacks). She admits that when she met him,
she saw a piece of herself in him. He tells her that he wants to
teach her and that all she has to do is listen to him and she
will be a star. (Personally, I don't get this, what exactly IS he
going to teach her? How to be a bitter, spoiled brat? Oh, never
mind. She already has that down to a science ;-).
DotCom
Belle and Mimi are at dotCOM as Belle berates her for spending
time with Jan, the bad seed. Mimi gets upset because Belle always
takes Chloe's side and warns Belle, that Chloe may dump Philip
and go after Shawn next. Belle tries to act unconcerned,
insisting that she and Shawn are just friends. Belle denies her
feelings for Shawn, so Mimi says if she doesn't want him, she may
go after him herself. Shawn comes in pushing JT in his carriage.
His friends give him a hard time (saying he will star in the next
afterschool special "I Was A Teenage Father"). But the
girls all gush over little JT. Jan comes in and motions Mimi over
as Shawn and Belle wonder what they are up to now. Jan tells her
that it is time to put "Operation Opera Girl" into
motion. Mimi is more interested in Shawn and Jan tells her to
forget about him. (She calls Shawn and Belle, Ken and Barbie -
complete with a little junior). Mimi has flashbacks of Shawn
kissing her in Paris but Jan snaps her back with an envelope of
pictures of a fellow student (Susan Adamson). They look at them
and laugh and make cracks about her weight (apparently she is
heavy). Mimi has second thoughts about the plan, but Jan reminds
her of all the things Chloe has done to them. Mimi is afraid they
will get caught and expelled, but Jan assures her they WON'T get
caught and if Chloe accuses them, no one will believe her. Jan
informs Mimi that their plan hinges on Kevin Lambert (aka Geek
Boy, who has a poster of Bill Gates in his locker). She says that
she almost has him under her spell and that he is going to help
them set Chloe up.
Meanwhile, Shawn and Belle are playing with JT as Belle tells him
he is lucky to have Shawn as a brother. As they listen to music (Mozart),
Belle tells Shawn that he will be a good father someday. Shawn
informs her that he wants to travel and see the world first (like
his dad did) which doesn't sit too well with Belle. She says she
would like to do that too, but with the right person and that
Salem will ALWAYS be her home. Belle goes to get them drinks and
when she returns, Shawn and JT are playing a video game (cute).
They talk some more and Belle turns to JT for advice and notices
something is wrong with him (we don't see.)
Abe & Lexie's Dilema
Replay of the last scene from yesterday when Lexie spots Glen and
Barb at the police station. She grabs Isaac and runs, leaving Abe
to deal with it. Bo comes in and asks Abe if he knows them. Glen
and Barb (mostly Barb) chatters on about their visit to GML as
they all go into Abe's office. (We learn their last name is
Reiber). Bo updates Abe on their statement and as Barb talks, Bo
puts 2 and 2 together and figures out that the baby is Isaac and
that Lexie tried to discourage them from coming to Salem. Glen
insists that he won't stop searching until he finds the baby. As
Glen tries to explain about Marlo's drinking and drug problem,
Barb keeps interjecting her little snips about her. Bo gives Abe
an all knowing look. He asks them, if they find the baby what do
they intend to do, fight for custody? But Glen assures him that
he just wants to make sure he is okay and loved. Bo tries to warn
Glen that his child could have a health problem, such as Fetal
Alcohol Syndrome and require special needs like his own son. Bo
and Abe step out as Barb tries to convince Glen to leave. Bo
tries to talk Abe into telling them the truth, but Abe refuses to
betray Lexie's trust.
Lexie and Hope arrive back at the Carver house and she puts Isaac
to bed. Lexie is upset and afraid of losing Isaac as Hope tries
to reason with her. She is sure that Abe "Mr. By the Book"
will spill the beans. Hope tries to help a distraught Lexie and
assure her that they won't lose Isaac. Lexie points out the Baby
Jessica case and how the adoptive parents lost her to her birth
parents. Lexie is freaking out and Hope tries to calm her down.
Lexie refuses to put her faith in the courts and says that she
will break the law if necessary. Hope can't believe what she is
hearing, but Lexie says she refuses to give him up. Hope vows to
help her however she can as Lexie thanks her and cries on her
shoulder. Lexie wants to call her father for help. Hope tries to
talk her out of it, but Lexie insists that it is the right thing
to do and for Hope to trust her. This is where my tape cut off,
not sure what else happened, but I'm pretty sure it was near the
end of the show. If Linda can fill anything in later, I'm sure
she will.

Show #9026(sweetened)
Director: Roger Inman
Tape Date: 3/15/01
Jen and Jack shake hands, Brady talks to his lawyer, and Kate
sobs over Lucas.
Salem Place
Greta's mumbling to herself as she runs into Jack (literally). He
mentions he's on a mission to save another princess and is
surprised when she says Jennifer's name. He asks how she knows
that and she tells him her tiara gives her psychic powers, LOL.
She confesses Alice told her and he tells her Abby is the
princess he was referring to. He doesn't want to jinx his plan by
telling her about his idea (of them all living together) that he
mentioned before. He tells her of his dislike for things like
plastic slip covers and the "clapper". She asks if he
got the high school award of most likely to talk someone into a
stupor, LOL! He tells her no, he got the "best dressed"
award and preens. She wishes him luck and tells him it's been
real as she tries to leave. She tells him she wants to get to the
hospital and he knows it's to see Austin. He wishes her luck in
romance and asks what about Sami Brady. He's confident he'll have
Jennifer eating out of the palm of his hand as she wishes him
luck as they part.
The House Partners
At Gran's, Jen is folding laundry when Abby walks in and startles
her. Abby asks if Jen and Jack had their talk. Abby asks who
she's going to live with and when Jen says her of course, Abby
asks what about the 3 of them. Abby gets upset and tells Jen she
wants them all to live together, like her doll family does and
runs from the room. Jen chases after Abby as she runs upstairs
and Alice is there. She agrees Jack's idea of them all living
together is a good one. Jen asks what about HER
feelings, don't they count? Alice responds that the day she had
Abby, her feelings weren't all that mattered, as she was a parent.
Jen flashes back to when Abby was born. Blaming Jack she goes to
sit on the couch. Jack knocks on the door and Abby rushes
downstairs, knowing Daddy's knock. She opens the door and Jack
pulls her into his arms. He asks why she's not in school and Abby
said that until they work this out, she decided she's not going
to school. Abby reminds her mother to smile and greet their guest
and Jen goes along with that. Sarcastically, but with a smile,
Jen asks Jack to sit and put his feet up, which he does. As Abby
sits on her daddy's lap, Jen disses her so she and daddy can talk
(poor kid never gets any time with her dad). Abby whispers into
both of their ears and leaves. Jack and Jen banter as she tells
him it's teacher's conference day and that's why Abby's home. Jen
launches into him when he challenges her concern over Abby's. She
tells Jack they'd have separate bedrooms if they lived together.
He whips out the broker's listings of houses available. He
mentions two houses and will set up an appt. to see them. She
can't
believe she's doing it, but shakes hands with him as "house
partners".
Salem University Hospital
As Kate goes to Craig's office (telling Austin to post guards
around the mansion first) to hear Lucas' test results, Philip
joins Austin asking what's up. He tells him it doesn't look good.
The doctors tell Kate it looks like Lucas may never come out of
his coma and the prognosis doesn't look good. She tells them
Lucas is stronger than they think and how resourceful he was when
younger. She starts to cry and demands to see her son so she can
tell him something she hasn't in a long time. Alone with Lucas in
his room, she flashes back to bouncing Lucas on her knee when he
was a toddler. She begs him not to leave her as she sobs over him.
She asks if he remembers when he was a little boy and fell off
his bike and scraped his knee. She would sing to him and does a
little before begging God not to take away her son.
Sami comes rushing into the hospital hallway, apologizing to
Austin for her earlier behavior, asking if Lucas is going to make
it. Philip (the family member with the brain), asks Sami why she
cares. She tells him he's being rude and knows she's just acting.
It comes out that Philip's attitude towards his mother has
changed since the trip and Austin wants to know why. Philip
doesn't say and Austin admits Kate withheld information from him
too. Philip says Kate's on the "if they don't know, it won't
hurt them" kick and how she almost got his dad killed too.
Sami and Austin pick up on that "almost" line and ask
what he means. Philip tells him he's just out of it and needs to
find Chloe and splits. Sami smirks looking away from Austin when
he says Kate might pay for her actions by the loss of her own son
as Sami thinks to herself, "one can only hope". Sami
asks Austin to hold her tight as Greta walks in and sees this.
Greta walks up and asks Sami if she's okay. Sami tells Greta she
and Austin are in love and don't need a reason for him to hold
her. Sami tries to rush Austin off to the cafeteria, but Greta
asks to speak with him first. He dispatches Sami, telling her
he'll join her soon. Sami tells him to hurry as she hates to eat
alone. After Sami leaves, Greta tells him she wants to talk about
them.
Greta reminds Austin of their bond they formed in Europe and he
agrees it's a special one. He helped her a lot in Europe and she
offers her help to him now. She offers to cook him a good dinner
as he needs to keep his strength up and he agrees. She smiles as
he goes to see how Kate and Lucas are doing. Later they enter the
cafeteria laughing and Sami rushes up. Greta tells Austin she'll
see him at dinner and to Sami, she's like her, hating to eat
alone. After Greta leaves, Sami grabs Austin's arm and reminds
him how they made love and are a couple now. He tells her that
was a mistake and they rushed into it.
The Rinse Job
Nicole finishes Victor's hair rinse. Before he sees it, Gene
walks in and laughs. Victor gets a mirror and tells Nicole people
will think HE lost his mind if he walks around looking like that
(dark grey color for both hair and mustache). When he comes back
to life, he's going to look like he did before. Gene tells him to
hurry back as the insurance company is about ready to cut Kate a
big fat check for the mansion and they don't want her to get it.
(Oh yeah, right! When they find out the fire was set, I doubt it).
Victor realizes this won't happen. He says Kate's desperate and
her handy work has gotten sloppy. He has proof Kate tried to
start the fire. He says it's midnight and Kate's coach is turning
into a pumpkin. He knows she's not just thinking about Lucas but
wondering when people will discover his charred remains. He says
he's going to turn back the time for Kate and Nicole asks if he's
going pay for a mini tuck and lyposuction, LOL. He says no, he's
financially turning back time for Kate, leaving her without a
dime.
Salem Place
Chloe watches Brady talk to his lawyer from afar. Brady
tells the lawyer what Abe said about his shooting as Chloe moves
close enough to hear him say it's an open and shut case. She
overhears him tell his lawyer how much he hates Marlena and more.
He blames Marlena for their not talking about his mother around
home. The lawyer asks if he's willing to destroy his sister's
home and he feels it would be better for Belle. At that point
Philip walks up and startles Chloe. She tells him not to do that
and he knows she was eavesdropping on Brady. She denies doing
that, but tells him she was looking at a sundress and happened to
see Brady there. She turns the tables about him being the liar
when he challenges her story. He admits he gets jealous seeing
her around Brady and she finds that hard to believe, but saying
if it were Shawn that would be different. Now Philip gets jealous
of Shawn and Chloe tells him maybe they should just be friends if
he's going to get like this. Brady comes up, calling "Uncle
Phil" and glares at Chloe like SHE'S interrupting. She fills
him in that he's the one interrupting and she was having a
discussion with her boyfriend. Philip puts his arm around her,
staying silent. Brady goes away and Chloe asks Philip if she
still thinks she's interested in Brady. He kisses and nuzzles her
goodbye when she assures him she's not going
anywhere. Brady turns and glares at Chloe as she glares back at
him over Philip's shoulder as the credits roll.

Show #9027 (sweetened)
Director: Phil Sogard
Tape Date: 3/12/01
Lexie goes running to Father, JT survives another crisis, and
Kate is surprised at what she finds among the ashes of the
Kiriakis mansion.
Solving A Dilemma
Lexie is anxiously pacing, wondering where "she" is,
when Celeste arrives. Lexie asks her to stay with Isaac, while
she goes out, and then asks Celeste if Stefano is as powerful as
he says he is. Surprised Celeste warns her about Stefano, saying
he will "own" her, if she allows him to do anything for
her. Reminds her that she, herself, did not want her child
brought up under the influence of Stefano (too, late, Celeste)
and did not lightly make the decision to give Lexie up. Lexie
breaks down and tells Celeste about Isaac's father being in town,
and perhaps wanting to take her son. Celeste tells her to go to
her father.
The Pawn & The King
Stefano & Rolf are playing chess, and Rolf brings up how Stef
no longer seems to have any interest in his pawn - John.Stef says
that on the contrary, he has just been diverted for a while, and
that one must never lose sight of or lose the "king" -
the son of John and Hope. They discuss the problems, and Stefano
says that Lexie has to realize that in order to keep her son, she
must divorce Abe. Rolf suggests offing Glen, as he would be very
willing (Dr. Frankenstein wants to do a week's worth of
experiments on him first....ugh!) but Stef refuses to even
consider the acid bath. Rolf says Stef never used to hesitate
getting rid of those that crossed him or stood in his way, and
Stefano says if he tried to do away with everyone who got in his
way, well there are other ways.
Lexie arrives, very upset, and tells Stefano about Glen at the
police station, and that Celeste told her to come to him. He
consoles her, tells her to remain strong and focused. He tells
her Abe is wonderful, but his good guy qualities are a detriment
to keeping Isaac. He tells her to call Abe, and tell him to come
over, so she puts on her Mata Hari traitor tears, makes the call,
and Abe says he will be right over.
Oh What A Tangled Web We Weave
Glen very angrily demands news about his son. He is furious at
the stonewalling he is receiving, and ticks off Abe. Bo & Abe
go in the other room, and Bo tells Abe he must remain calm, or he
just may screw things up. Abe agrees and goes back into the room
with Glen & Barb. They prepare to leave, but warn Abe they
mean business. Abe stops him, just as the phone rings, and it is
Lexie. He makes his excuses, telling Glen & Barb to leave for
now. As they walk away Barb gets a bright idea. Remembering how
much Marlo was into drugs, she figures that she probably asked
for them big time when she was having the baby. Hospitals keep
records, so why wait for word from the police. She tells Glen
they should go to the hospital and investigate for themselves.
Good News For Now
Hope, Shawn & Belle keep vigil in the hospital waiting room.
Brady shows up (cannot imagine why... he already had his therapy
session) and joins them. Dr. Maxwell arrives, saying JT is
breathing on his own, but they are going to see why this happened.
Hope calls Bo, as Brady asks Belle & Shawn about Chloe. He
does not understand why she lied about Philip and the rape, and
Belle says she has no clue either. Belle talks of how wrong it
was, crying wolf like that, as it makes it harder for someone who
is really raped to be believed. Brady thinks Phil is in over his
head with Chloe. Belle says she only knows Phil lied about
something, and tells how Chloe tried to rectify the situation,
but people would not listen. Brady replies that Philip lies, and
Chloe, without realizing what she is saying, cries rape. He
intimates there may be an underlying reason, that even she may
not be aware of. Shawn spots Belle talking to some guy (his
brother is having a cast removed) & is not very happy about
it. Brady chides him a bit, as this guy makes a tentative date
with Belle for dot.com after school. Brady realizes that Shawn is
really jealous. (yeah, so do we all, .....wake up, Shawn!) Bo
arrives, and Dr. Maxwell comes in with his findings. There was
some plaque that developed in the stent they had put in, not
unusual and easily remedied, and the surgery will be tomorrow.
Hope & Bo talk about Glen, and as Hope puts her arms around
Bo, she reminds him how thankful they should be that "no one
can take our son away from us".
Meanwhile... Just Desserts
Kate is praying over Lucas, and tells him how much she loves him.
She assures him she will not leave him, and will always be there,
but right now she needs to do something. She calls Henderson to
come and pick her up secretly via the back way at the hospital so
no one will see her leave. (That is so funny.....like there are
no personnel anywhere, or visitors, etc.) She wants to go to the
burned out mansion, tho Henderson says it is only ashes and mud.
When they arrive, she refuses his offer to help search thru the
rubble, tells him to go & come back in 15 minutes, as she
wants to be alone. She finds a picture of Lucas & Will and
holds it close, then proceeds to look around some more. She
turns, and there is Victor, standing in the doorway which is
backlit, so you can barely see him, holding aloft the poker
wrapped in plastic, asking "Is this what you are looking
for, Kate". After screaming bloody murder (thank goodness
that ridiculous hair dye has been washed out, and Victor is back
to looking like himself), Kate and Victor go at it tooth and nail.
He berates her and they argue big time, both accusing the other
of nasty deeds. (Of which they are both guilty - these scenes are
really very good). Victor rakes Kate over the coals about trying
to kill him, she defends herself, mentioning him drugging her, so
she did not know what she was doing - they just really go at it.
Victor threatens Kate, telling her he is cutting her off (no
money) and she is appalled, saying he cannot do that. He tells
her yes he is, and there are now some new ground rules. The
credits roll.........

Show #9028 (sweetened)
Director: Randy Robbins
Tape Date: 3/20/01
Hopefully Glen joins the Salem PD as they could use him, Victor
tells Kate his plan and the Blacks go to Tuscany for dinner again.
At The Burning Rubble
Victor boasts to Kate that Philip knew he was alive and helped
him. She knows Philip betrayed her and damns Victor for turning
her son against her and says how much she needs her children. He
tells her Philip knows about Moroni, but not how she whacked him
with the poker. He's got enough anger against her to get revenge
for the next 100 years. She asks what else can he do to her and
he reminds her SHE did all this to herself (true) and he's got
his own plans. She tells him he can't leave her penniless, what
would Philip think of him then? He tells her she's such a good
liar, to tell Philip she wants to earn his respect by doing it on
her own and not taking any of Victor's money. She rants about not
having any money, job, or place to live. He hands her a small
envelope with the keys to the maid's car (what maid?) and when
she tells him it's old and tacky, he replies "be it ever so
humble", LOL!!!! Telling her that tacky car is her home.
Henderson sees someone with Kate, wondering who it is. Kate
pleads with Victor not to do this to her. He threatens to keep
Philip away from her forever if she tells him about this
arrangement. She screams NO, NO, (literally) as he leaves.
Henderson sees Victor while investigating, screams and faints
face down on the pavement. Victor just says "Sorry Henderson"
and walks off (hey, the guy could have a concussion or broken
face after that fall!)
Kate sits there telling herself she's not in jail at least. Sami
will keep her mouth shut to keep her son. She takes the keys,
vowing to show everyone that she'll fight her way back to the top.
She wonders how though.
The Blacks
John and Marlena dress up to go out to dinner again (don't these
people EVER eat at home?) She helps him with his tux bowtie as we
learn it's her idea they go out. She realizes Brady's attitude
won't change overnight.
Downstairs Belle and Brady eat Chinese out of take-out containers
with chopsticks. He boasts about how he's going to take Roman
down in court as Belle is concerned about his anger. He feels
justified in taking Roman, Abe and Marlena all down as John and
Marlena overhear from the staircase upstairs. Belle gushes about
her parents dressing up so often, unlike other parents. Brady
compliments them on how nice they look and excuses himself as
that's all the polite exchange he can give. He tells John that
politeness is the tool for people who hate each other's guts,
right? After Brady criticizes the "rules", Marlena
tells John in the hall she doesn't know how much of Brady's
"politeness" she can handle. John's confident time will
make things better and they'll all laugh at this in years to come.
Inside Belle whacks Brady (with a smile) in the gut as he asks if
that was polite enough. She flat out she tells him she's sick of
his bitterness and understands why he's driving mom crazy. She
doesn't want him to leave, but fears dad will kick him out if he
keeps this up. They hug and he promises to follow the rules. He
asks about Chloe and what a bad thing she did by saying rape. He
feels both Philip and Belle should be careful around Chloe. He
heads off to dotCom to warn off Philip, telling her when asked
that getting shot in the back got him the silver lining, John's
credit card.
At Tuscany
Marlena and John are still talking about Brady when they walk in.
Maggie overhears John's feeling confident all will work out and
she tells them she's glad to hear the new ground rules are
working. John's taken back that Marlena told Maggie about their
personal stuff (hello, this IS Salem, right?) and tells Maggie
he'd prefer not being greeted in a public place with it and for
her to just seat them. Maggie thinks not and asks a waiter to. At
the table, John tells Marlena that Maggie is a gossip and she
knows it. She tells him she told Maggie because she was proud of
his idea, thinking it a good one. He likes that and wine is
delivered, followed by an apology from Maggie. While in the
middle of apologizing, John interrupts abruptly, saying her
apology is accepted and thanks her for the champagne. He but
coolly dismisses her with a look and says they came to have a
quiet evening alone, not to socialize. Marlena tries to take the
blame, but John's still cold and Maggie leaves. Marlena tells him
it takes a big person to apologize and he replies he's learned
friendships run their course and maybe this one has. Alone they
continue their discussion about Brady. Marlena asks if John would
set Brady up in an apartment. She suggests Brady work to help pay
and maybe take his mind off revenge against her, Roman and Abe.
They dance.
At The Hospital
Brandon comforts a scared little girl. She's nervous about
getting an xray and he reassures her it's okay. Greta overhears
and compliments him. She feels him out about his relationship
with Sami. He tells her any man would be lucky to have Sami in
his life. He asks why Austin's there and she tells him for Lucas.
He doesn't feel sorry for Lucas after all he's done to Sami. They
get each other to smile and she goes to leave.
Sami and Austin see Greta talking to Brandon from afar as Sami
quips that Greta gets a crown and thinks she can get anything she
wants. She tells Austin that Greta wants him but Greta's wasting
her time as they already consummated their love. He tells her
they rushed into that and should have waited. He admits enjoying
it and was as much to blame for getting carried away. He just
feels that it's something that people should wait for until fully
committed and heading for the altar. He reminds her they've been
apart for a long time and need to get reacquainted. Ha! She says
they've known each other for so long, not necessary. She's got
her son back and SO ready to be happy and wants to get married.
He stares at her and doesn't answer, just says DON'T PUSH. Wrong
answer (to her). She had to push to get her son back and he
didn't act like they needed time in bed together. She huffs off,
not liking his wanting to wait. She returns apologizing and
understands what he's saying. He feels the most important thing
is she and Will are together again. He tells her to go get some
rest and have some fun with her boy. He kisses her on the cheek
and thanks her for being understanding. She walks off slowly.
At the elevator Greta sees Sami crying and walking into Brandon's
arms. He tells her he's almost off duty and wants to take her to
Tuscany for dinner. She smiles, saying she'll have the lady down
the hall babysit Will (so much for quality time with her little
boy, huh?) as he tells her to go get something sexy on. Greta,
now hiding, shakes her head about how Sami is unbelievable.
Austin joins her and she tells him she made reservations at
Tuscany for dinner and to pick her up in 30 minutes (atta girl!).
In The Nursery Area
Bo comforts Hope in the hospital. They feel better off than Abe
and Lexie as they still have their son. Glen and Barb walk in and
Hope spots them. Bo greets them and Glen says he's there about a
job (oh yeah, probably brain surgeon). He has Barb keep Hope and
Bo busy while he snoops, er, I mean, get a job application. Barb
asks why they're there and Hope tells this stranger about her
special needs child and how she drank a lot while pregnant. Barb
fires back, like Marlo.
Glen is questioned by a nurse outside the nursery. He tells her
that his wife just found out she's pregnant and everyone said the
nurses are caring there and it's where they should have the baby.
He tells them he's a cop interviewing in Salem and knows Bo. He
had a friend who's friend Marlo had a baby there. The nurses open
up and tell him all about Marlo and her baby. They remember the
wild night with 4 baby's being born and Bo and Hope's being one
of them too. They tell him to tell his friend the baby went to a
nice family, in fact pillars of the community... Abe and Lexie
Carver. He probably met them at his job interview I'm sure you
nurses are saying "NO WAY" while reading this ;-).
Hope and Barb both convey their thoughts about the situation.
Barb picks up Hope's interest and asks what she knows. This broad
vents off about how everyone is stonewalling them (to almost
complete strangers) and it's making her mad. Hope pleads that the
adoptive parents are probably taking good care of the baby and
how close they've gotten. The doctor brings out JT and Barb
comments how much JT looks like her husband Glen as the credits
roll.

FRIDAY, APRIL 6, 2001 (**)
Show #9029(sweetened)
Director: Herb Stein
Tape Date: 3/21/01
Brady finds out that Victor is alive (thanks to Chloe); Philip
finds out that Kate KNOWS Victor is alive; Glen and Barb have a
plan; Stefano promises to handle the problem (much to Abe's
dismay).
Hell Bent On Revenge
Victor is on the phone with Gene Brisco, making plans to bring
down Kate, but he wants Philip out of the way before that happens.
Philip shows up and is upset and wants to talk about Chloe and
thinks that she will never forgive him. They talk about Kate and
Victor urges him to forgive his mother. He tells Philip that Kate
knows that he is alive and as of tomorrow, everyone else will. He
tells Philip that Kate admits to making mistakes and must atone
for them. He tells him that Kate wants to start her life over
from scratch and wants no help from him. Philip finds this last
bite a bit too much to swallow, but Victor convinces him. He
tells Philip that he wants him to go out of town for a while to
check out some rehab centers for Lucas. Philip is sure his mother
would want to go as well, but Victor tells him that she won't
leave Lucas' side. Then, he wants to ask Chloe to accompany him,
but Victor discourages that idea as well. He tells him that the
jet is waiting and rushes him off to the airport. After Philip is
gone, Victor says that he must keep Philip away from both Kate
and Chloe. He says that payback is a bitch, isn't it Kate? But
then so are you.
Chloe Drops A Bomb
Chloe is at dotCom while Brady is there. She is watching him
trying to hit on a girl and he falls flat on his face (literally),
hehe. He sees her and accuses her of following him. He also
teases her, accusing her of being in love with him. She flatly
denies it and says she wants nothing to do with him and goes to
leave. He tells her to sit and wants to talk with her about
crying rape against Philip. She tries to explain, but he berates
her. In anger, she lets it slip that Victor is still alive. Brady
is shocked and questions her as she declares it's true. He
demands to know where his grandfather is and wants to go to him,
but she won't tell him where Victor is.
Just Call Her Greta, P.I.
Greta and Austin are on their way to Tuscany (she picks him up in
a limo) as they flatter each other and do a little flirting. They
talk about various things, including Lucas and Kate. Greta goes
on a little fishing expedition, questioning Austin about Sami,
even though he doesn't want to discuss her. He finally admits
that he did indeed have sex with Sami and she pushes for more
details. She acts disappointed in him, then apologizes for being
out of line. He admits that he got caught up in the moment and
that it was all a mistake. Greta says that she knows exactly what
Sami is up to. Greta pegs it down, when she describes how the
evening went down, right down to the sexy lingerie. Greta says
that she can tell that Sami is crazy about Austin, but thinks
that he doesn't feel the same way. Austin tells Greta he is glad
she is his friend, but she lets him know that she thinks about
him more than a friend. To herself, Greta can't wait until they
get to Tuscan and Austin sees Sami and Brandon together. THEN,
maybe he will see what a liar she is.
Sami & Brandon
Sami is playing with Will (and trying to get him into bed). He
wonders why Daddy can't baby sit him while Mommy is going out.
Sami explains that Daddy had an accident so Will wants to say a
prayer for him. He does and then asks Sami to do the same. (Man
she says the quickest prayer on record). Brandon shows up with
champagne and toys for Will. He comments that her dress isn't
sexy enough and wants her to "show her jewels" with him
at Tuscany. She changes and puts on a short rose-colored satin
with thin straps (oh-la-la). He likes and says that she takes his
breath away. She tells him that he makes her feel like a woman
and they start to kiss. She pulls away and insists that she is in
love with someone else. (Somewhere in there, she also reveals
that she and Austin slept together and you can see the
disappointment in Brandon's eyes.) To herself, she thinks that
she has no trouble driving everyone crazy but Austin :-(.
Baby Talk
At the hospital, Glen gets the info he needs from the
blabbermouth nurses as Barb continues to work on Bo and Hope.
Nurse Ellen takes JT to show him off in the nursery as Hope
questions Barb on what happened at the police station. Barb talks
about how everyone is stonewalling them and continues to question
Bo and Hope. Glen comes back and tells her they need to leave. He
smarts off to Bo and Hope and after they are gone, Bo and Hope
talk about how all this scares them. Glen fills Barb in on what
he learned and tells her that he has a plan. Bo and Hope talk
about Abe and Lexie losing Isaac. Bo believes that Abe should
come clean now and face the music, instead of later. But Hope
begs Bo not to tell, assuring him that the adoption was on the
level. But, Bo tells her that if Glen is indeed the father and he
didn't know about the adoption, the whole picture changes. The
nurse brings back JT and they are just glad that no one will take
him away.
MORE Baby Talk
Abe shows up at DiMansion, upset with Lexie (for summoning him
there) and demands that they go home. Stefano demands to know
what Abe told Glen and Barb as Abe insists that it is none of his
business. Abe and Stefano almost come to blows, as Lexie steps in
and calms them both down. Abe tells them what happened and is
sure that Glen and Barb will find the truth. Lexie begs ìfatherî
to do something to stop them. Abe objects to Stefano's
involvement as Lexie bets him to reconsider. She tells Abe that
if Stefano doesn't help, he will lose his son and HER as well.
Abe is taken aback by this and finally gives in, saying that
Isaac must be protected. Stefano points out that they will insist
on DNA tests to prove that Glen is the father. If they match, he
is sure that Glen can be paid off. Stefano also assures them that
they can tie it with red tape up in court for years and it would
eventually bankrupt Glen. Lexie is thrilled but Stefano and Abe
begin to argue again. Abe wants to go home so they leave (with
Lexie thanking Stefano on her way out). After they are gone,
Stefano says thanks to him and the baby switching, there is NO
WAY the DNAs will match. Outside, Abe gets beeped by the station
and must go by there. Alone, Lexie thinks that she must take care
of the situation. The only way to fix it is to make sure that
Glen's DNA doesn't match her
son's. And the credits roll.
