MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2001**
Congratulations Days of Our Lives on your 9000th Episode!
Although it seems to be a ho-hum show for such a milestone. The
big news is that Victor lives... now, aren't you all surprised? ;-)
Episode #9000 (Sweetened)

Philip & Chloe
Chole walks up behind Philip and watches him, wondering
how she can help him. He is thinking about her as well and is
worried because he can't tell her the whole truth. They kiss and
he tells her about the ashes being stolen. He tries to assure her
that all is okay. She apologizes for her constantly asking him
questions. She tells him that she feels helpless and doesn't know
what to do to help. He tells her that she is the only one that he
trusts anymore. You can tell that this is eating him up inside
and he's afraid to tell her the truth and that me might lose her.
Chloe promises that won't happen. Philip gets a call from Nicole,
the police think that they have caught the people who grabbed the
ashes and he rushes off. Much later in the show, Brady shows up
at the hotel (after he leaves the hospital) and falls on his
crutches. Chloe sees him and doesn't offer any help (remembering
how he treated her at the hospital). A hotel employee offers to
help him and he runs him away. After Brady picks himself up (he
never sees her either), Chloe goes into her room. She seems to
have pity for him.
Sami & Brandon
Sami is at Brandon's apartment and he goes to take a quick shower.
Sami has flashbacks of the last time she caught him in the shower
naked. She also has flashbacks of Austin. She wonders where he is
right now and says that she needs him. She hopes that he comes
home soon. Brandon comes out, wet and towel-clad. Sami gets a bit
uncomfortable as Brandon rubs it in about Austin and Greta and
tells her that she is waiting for the wrong person. He talks
about how Austin has not been there for her and that HE (Brandon)
is her future. He tells her that he loves her and they kiss.
OOPS, his towel slips and falls off and Sami reacts startled as
she takes a good look (from head to toe). Brandon takes his time
covering himself and apologizes (yeah, right!). He kisses her
again and professes his love for her and she wilts in his arms.
He picks her up and carries her to the bedroom. Later, there is a
knock at the door and Sami rushes out (while dressing). It's
Mickey, (it seems that Sami called him over). She tells him about
her tape. Brandon joins them, assuring Mickey that Sami won't be
disappointed this time. They play the tape for him and he is
impressed. They talk about what if Kate fights it, claiming the
tape is doctored, etc. Mickey agrees, that if she wanted to, Kate
could tie this up in court for years. That doesn't sit too well
with Sami. Brandon promises her that he will help her get Will
back, NOW.
Lucas & Kate
Lucas and Kate make light of Victor's "death". (Lucas
jokes about how bad she looks in black, she talks about worry
lines, etc.). They just can't wait until they get their hands on
his money. Gene Briscoe (Victor's lawyer) shows up and Kate
really puts on a show for him (crying and going on, as Lucas
looks on, impressed). She tells him that before they left for
France, Victor gave her an envelope (the codicil) and she doesn't
know what is in it. She gives it to him and he reads it, telling
her that Victor left virtually everything to her. He tells her
that he had no idea there was a codicil, but Victor had talked to
him about changing his will. She asked him if there were any
legal documents drawn up and he says no. She informs him that the
codicil IS legal and that is what they will go by. She gets
downright nasty with Gene (threatening to fire him) so he caves.
After he is gone, Lucas congratulates her on such a performance
and she assures him that the best is yet to come. Lucas asks how
long it will be until they get the money and they celebrate.
Not So Fast, Kate!
Once outside, we see Gene on the phone with someone (we only see
their phone and ear, any bets on just WHO it is???). LOL. Gene
refers to Kate as "Hepburn" and says that he believes
the believes the person on the other end. The camera pans back
and we see, you guessed it, Victor (alive and well). He tells
Gene that they (Kate and Lucas) will know the truth. His revenge
is going to be crueler than Kate's little heart. Philip shows up
and Victor assures him that he is okay (we learn that he WAS
wearing a bullet proof vest) but he is still sore and says
something about a cracked rib. They talk about Philip wishes he
could tell Chloe the truth, but can't. Victor tells him that the
fewer people that know, the better. (Right now, it's only Victor,
Nicole, Philip and Gene that know). Victor thanks him and they
hug (as Victor winces with pain).
The Black Clan
In his room, we get a replay of J&M's argument and his
coughing fit. Marlena tries to help but Brady asks what the hell
she did to him. The nurse blames Marlena for upsetting John (says
she heard her all the way down the hall). Marlena informs her
that SHE is a doctor herself and the nurse smarts off to her.
Brady also takes a jab, telling her she did a nice job. Brady and
Belle hover over John, so Marlena leaves (Shawn goes with her).
She thanks him for helping (as he gets her water) and he picks up
on what the problem is, Brady. He tells her not to blame herself.
Mimi rolls in and after Marlena assures Shawn that she is okay,
he goes to talk with Mimi.Shawn takes Mimi back to her room and
he tells her that he prayed for her to get better. She (awkwardly)
questions him about when they kissed that day and asks him if he
felt anything. After realizing that he didn't really, she changes
her question and asks if the kiss was passable (cute scenes here).
She asks if he was turned totally of. Of course not, he tells her.
Well, were you turned on? After he stumbles around for an answer,
she gives up. He suggests they go and see Belle so he pushes her
wheelchair. As they go, she thinks she would go anywhere with him.Brady
and Belle dote on John. He encourages Brady to go to the hotel
and get a room so he can rest. He finally agrees. As he goes to
leave, John tells him that he loves him. The nurse comes back to
check on John and he asks her to make sure that Brady gets
downstairs okay and to get him a cab. (Oh pahleeze! He got all
the way to Parism I THINK he can get a cab). On his way out, he
tells Marlena she is down and will be out before long. Belle sits
on John's bed and the talk. She wonders what Mom did to upset him
so much. He changes the subject, as Marlena has flashbacks in the
hall about her confrontation with Brady. John tells Belle that
she worries too much about him and that he and her mom will work
everything out. He asks her to go by and check on Brady as she
leaves. After she leaves, he says (to himself) that he loves and
will protect his children and if Marlena doesn't understand that
he doesn't know what the hell they are going to do. Belle finds
Marlena and encourages her to go back and see John. Belle
realizes that they were arguing about Brady and Marlena tells her
that she hit Brady. Belle assumes by accident, but Marlena tells
her no, it was on purpose and that she hit him HARD. Belle can't
believe what she is hearing as Marlena tears up, the credits roll.
Laney
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2001**
The jets return to Salem and Kate is enjoying her new
role.

Titan
Kate and Lucas return to work, still in true character. She's
wearing a furry number and in control. Marie extends her
sympathies and Kate, not even acting upset over Victor's death,
talks more like Victor was a former employee and carries on with
business as usual. She tells Marie she'll now be known as Kate
Kiriakis (Mrs. Kiriakis) for Philip's sake (yeah, right). Lucas'
facial expressions are funny as he listens to what Kate tells
Marie.Gene Brisco arrives and Kate barks at him for not knocking
when he arrives. He placates her by telling her how beautiful she
is and how he had told Victor to marry her many times. She
mellows and he tells her he brought the papers to make her a very
powerful woman. Kate dispatches Lucas to "fetch" the
coffee (much to his dismay). As Kate signs the papers, Brisco
fawns over Kate and Kate orders Lucas to pour their coffee.
Brisco tells them he's been happily married to the same woman for
30 years and never strayed, but in the next breath asks Kate to
have coffee with him sometime. Kate, loving the attention, tells
Brisco if he's a good boy, she'll consider spending an evening
with him. She asks Brisco to arrange for the New Delhi branch of
Titan to be run by her son. Lucas asks if Austin wants to go
there and she tells him no, it's he and Will she's sending there.
Needless to say, Lucas isn't pleased by this news, nor is Brisco,
who tries to get Kate to reconsider sending them to a 3rd world
country. Lucas is worried about the earthquakes, but Kate tells
him not to worry about it in the palace he'll be living in.
Sami
Mickey stops by Brandon's flat and tells Sami she has to give
Lucas some visitation rights or it won't work. Sami is NOT happy
about that as she wants Kate and Lucas to both suffer and never
see Will again. Mickey leaves asking Brandon to talk with Sami.
Brandon comforts her when Nicole calls to clue them in about
Lucas' plan to take Will out of the country. She covers by
telling Sami she heard from a new maid at the mansion who asked
if she was going too, not realizing she and Lucas were now
divorced. Brandon calls Mickey and he agrees to put a stop on
that from happening.
Titan Jet
Philip and Nicole fly home with Victor. They mention greasing
custom's palms in France to get Victor on the jet. Philip is
still upset about keeping the secret from Chloe and goes to leave
a message on her answering machine to tell her he's heading home
(look out the window, maybe the jets are near each other, haha).
Nicole asks what Victor has in mind for Kate. She goes to check
on Philip and returns to tell Victor he should give his son some
relationship management tips. Victor tells Nicole their
relationship is still not to be revealed as she starts stroking
his arm. She admits wanting to see Kate suffer as much as he does.
Philip returns and Victor tells him that they're figuring out how
to make Kate pay. Philip understands. Victor tells them how Gene
Brisco is seeing Kate right now, but unbeknownst to Kate, is
following Victor's orders, not hers. After Brisco leaves, Kate,
in her best Cruela DeVille mannerisms, is enjoying her new power.
Lucas barks at her about what she's doing to him. He tells her to
go to Hell and leaves in a huff when she tells him if he has any
other dreams beyond full custody of his son and an executive
position to make them himself. Victor tells Philip and Nicole
he's going to let Kate soar before he surfaces again and she
crashes. He's waiting until Sami gets Will first. Victor
appreciates Philip's got the hardest role being he's going to go
back home and live with Kate. He's told to just stay quiet around
the house as Kate knows he's mouring his father and still upset
with her.Gene calls and fills Victor in on Kate's name change,
company plans and sending Lucas to New Delhi with Will. Victor
chuckles and thanks Gene. After hanging up he tells Nicole he
needs her expertise. Nicole calls Sami at Brandon's (what's with
all the cellphone use on the jets from the middle of the
Atlantic?). She tells Sami to call Mickey and order him to make
sure Kate can't take Will out of the country.
Black Jet
The rest of Salem returns on John's jet. Belle is concerned
watching John sleep and he wakes up reassuring her all's okay.
She mentions his strange breathing and he tells her it was
SNORING, LOL. (guess John's not a weekend couch snoring type of
guy?) The nurse comes to check his blood pressure and Belle goes
to check on Marlena. Marlena's embroidering, much to Belle's
surprise. She tells Belle she took it up when pregnant with her.
Belle wants to know why she hit Brady (who's crouched in the seat
in front of Marlena) as he listens in. Marlena refuses to defend
herself as Belle tells her Brady just came to Paris to see Dad,
not harrass her. Marlena doesn't feel comfortable discussing this
with Belle, but assures Belle that Brady had provoked her to make
her do it and she was concerned what Brady would say to upset
John, who needed to heal, not get upset. Belle chalks up that
Brady was just upset about dad too. She tells her mom that she's
her role model and dad said she's becoming more like her mom.
Marlena's flattered and the duo hug and go to get a soda. After
they leave, Brady (who I thought was sitting crouched in seat in
front of Marlena), now gets up from back seat (huh?) and drags
himself over to sit next to Chloe.He starts nasty remarks to
Chloe about her singing and being an only child. She asks if he
was adopted as she heard his mother was such a wonderful person
and his father a hero. She asks why he wouldn't let the hotel guy
help him up when he fell the day before and he asks if she's
following him and he wants a warm blooded woman, not a cold
blooded one like her. She gives it back to him saying she
wouldn't want a man who couldn't walk. He can't take criticism
and spews more nasties at Chloe (any one got a bar of soap handy
I can wash his mouth out with?). He tells her she's not a good
singer and she calls him a mean vindictive bastard. He's glad
they understand each other as he hobbles away. Mimi and Shawn sit
next to each other. He comments on her perfume and goes to get
something to eat. When he returns she asks about their kiss and
if she's a good kisser. He tells her any guy who kisses her would
be lucky. Belle watches and listens from across the aisle and
pops over to visit. Shawn offers her part of his sandwich and
offers to give her a root beer refill, which she accepts. Mimi
double checks Belle and her are still good friends and Belle's
okay with her flirting with Shawn. Belle pops over to visit Chloe.
She learns her brother upset Chloe criticizing Philip and wants
to talk to Brady about it. Chloe tells her to leave it alone as
Brady would only feed on knowing he upset her. She admits how
close she and Philip have become. Brady hobbles over to sit next
to Marlena. She continues embroidering and calmly tells him he
could become a decent human being or risk losing his sister's and
father's faith in him when the truth comes out, which it always
seems to do... He tells her he doesn't screw up like she does and
to keep those pathetic dreams to herself (hey, how about taping
some of your conversations Marlena? John would believe those!) He
gets up and makes nice, apologizing for disturbing her, but had
to get off his feet, for John to hear. John asks him if there was
any problem and Brady tells him no. Shawn stops to chat with
Marlena and she thanks him for staying on in Paris to support
them. He's anxious to get home to see is brother. John hears and
agrees he has too. Shawn understands John's like a second father
to JT and how his mom has said JT is growing and getting stronger.
Shawn said JT is just like his dad and John agrees, just like his
dad as Marlena winces.John joins Marlena asking if she's avoiding
him. She tells him she's giving him some space as she doesn't
want to upset him. He tells her he loves her and only her and she
starts weeping. He tells her he won't tolerate her hitting his
son though, so if she can't stop giving Brady a hard time, he
can't see their marriage making it as the credits roll..
Linda
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2001*
Lexie is nervous about Marlo's picture, Will's passport
is confiscated and Kate is the redecorating mode.

Lucas and Kate
Lucas says he's just going to leave town for a while with Will,
doesn't want to live in India cuz they have no cable TV! Just as
Lucas is about to get Will and head to the car, a police officer
shows up and tells Lucas that he must surrender Will's passport.
Lucas takes off to find some fun. Kate calls the attorney (Gene)
upset about the officer showing up (I thought you had this under
control). Gene tells her that he can't help his client without
all the information... she finally fesses up to what is on the
tape (I had the best possible intentions). He promises to do
whatever he can to help her. Philip walks in on his Mom with a
decorator, wanting to liven up the Kiriakis Mansion.... out with
the old, in with the new. She wants to tear down the house... and
hopes that Victor is looking up from Hell when the wrecking ball
hits. The designer voices her concern over demolishing the house
and Kate has a little power trip about how people should be
deferring to her. She fires the decorator.
Sami, Brandon & Mickey
The three meet at a local restaurant to discuss their plans. Sami
wants it all... Will, justice and Lucas in a cell with very
lonely cellmates (LOL). Pan across the room to see Lucas looking
on at the threesome with interest. Lucas spills a drink on Sami,
threatening her that she may have gotten the passport, but she'll
never get her son. Brandon slams Lucas around a little, makes him
apologize to Sami. Lucas has Brandon give Sami a message...
"you can play that tape for anyone you want, but my mom has
the best lawyers".... he's convinced that Will will stay
with him because Mom can make it all go away. Sami is concerned
about a drunk Lucas going home to Will.
Victor, Nicole & Philip
The threesome arrive at the vacation home of Victor's attorney,
Gene Brisco. (if he has a vacation home like this, I'm paying him
too much money). The younger folk attempt to get Victor to lie
down, but he is adamant that he is doing fine. A nurse is there
and is talking to Victor like he's three (We don't think drinking
will help us to recover do we??) and Victor threatens to fire her.
Gene shows up and shows Victor his obituary... he decides he'd
like to go to his own funeral. He sends Philip to Kate's,
although Philip doesn't want to go.... Victor tells him that he
has to be there fo help Kate "grieve" to make it look
more real. Victor is pleased with the conversation between Gene
and Kate... Gene didn't lie to Kate, just didn't tell the entire
truth. Nicole and Victor are sitting by the fire.... she commends
him on taking the high road with Philip and encouraging him to
love his mother. He confesses how much he hates Kate. Nicole has
a plan on how to really drive Kate crazy.
The Brady's
Shawn is worried about Bo since Victor is now "Dead".
Bo gives Shawn a good pep talk, tells him not to worry... Shawn
says he wants to be the one that Bo talks to if he wants to talk
about his fathers death. Bo agrees that he has to talk about it,
but is having trouble finding the words. He goes on to explain
how difficult Victor is to know.... like a chess game with moves
in the background. Bo talks about how he tried to get to know
Victor before Shawn was born so that he could put him in jail.
And even then, he didn't really get to know him -- no one knows
Victor's life story. When Victor found out Bo was lying to him,
Victor forgave Bo... he loved Bo. Bo thought that Victor had
mellowed after the strokes.... maybe there'd be a chance to just
sit and talk... unfortunately that never happened. Part of Bo
doesn't believe that Victor's dead... just another one of
Victor's deceptions.
The Carvers
Lexie is freaking out about getting the sketch of the dead woman
out to the public. Hope can't figure out why ... she feels a vibe
about it and is concerned for her friend. Abe is considering
tampering with evidence... doesn't want the sketch to be Marlo
cuz they might lose Isaac although he believes Isaac is theirs
legally (and there's nothing to worry about). Lexie wants to tell
Hope why she doesn't want the murdered woman identified.... Lexie
gets tearful about Isaac and Hope starts to make connections...
"Do you think that this woman is Isaac's biological mother?".
Lexie starts to confess a little... we haven't heard from Marlo (didn't
expect to, she's a total stranger). It comes out that Stefano was
involved in the adoption -- "If Stefano's involved, you can
bet there's foul play... do you think she was murdered?"
Lexie is concerned about her right to Isaac.... what if Marlo's
family or the baby's father come back into the picture. Hope
thinks there is more to the situation... Lexie is spooked and
that has Hope concerned. Lexie makes Hope promise that she not
tell anyone about the conversation and Hope assures her that she
is there for her, whenever she needs her. Lexie calls Abe... did
you take care of the Marlo situation? It's too late.... it's
already been sent out. Abe had to do what was right or else he
has no business being Isaac's father. Lexie is annoyed cuz Abe
didn't do as he was told to do... we are seeing the DiMera side
of Lexie.... "You have to take care of this yourself, Lexie".
The look of hatred in her eyes as the show closes.....
Nancy E. from Canada
THURSDAY, MARCH 1, 2001**
Private talks today with Philip and Kate, Chloe and
Nancy, Stefano and Lexie. Belle and Shawn also get closer as Mimi
watches jealously.

Kate & Philip
Philip argues with his mother about already planning to
redecorate the house after his dad just died. She tries to claim
she's doing it for him to lessen the reminders of his father. She
beckons him into her outstretched arms and he goes reluctantly.
Cruella, I mean Kate, tells him to trust her. Ha! He backs up and
reminds her he saw his father gunned down and remembers that SHE
did it to him and had his father killed and asks why! Of course
Kate denies it and says it was a terrorist hit. Kate tells Philip
that Victor didn't want to marry her and Vincent was there. She
clues Philip in that Vincent and his daughter were both killed at
the coronation and not to mention his name again. He asks why she
was sleeping with Vincent after she says he meant nothing to her,
and she says it was for him. She tells him Victor was going to
throw her out in the street and Vincent offered her a job with
his company. He asks if she slept with him for a job? Kate tries
to weasel out of it saying she was trying to ensure their future
and hugs him. He pulls her ear next to his lips and calls her a
liar (atta boy!!!). He wants to trust her, but he has to go. She
tells him it does add up, he's just too emotional to hear it. He
questions how she can redecorate if she doesn't have a job. He
accuses her of planning to have his father killed with that creep
and the lightening and thunder rumble as she stares at him. He
tells Kate she's not his mother and doesn't mean anything to him.
Outside in the rain (no coat) he tells himself he doesn't belong
there and it's not his home anymore and walks away.
Dot Com
Belle and Shawn run into each other outside .Com. They talk about
the storm that's coming and then Belle asks him if he's waiting
on someone. Shawn tells Belle no and he was hoping to run into
her. Shawn tells Belle that he's really glad that she is there.
Big smile from Belle. Mimi and Jan are inside .Com and Jan tells
Mimi they have work to do. Mimi wants Jan to give it a rest. Jan
tells Mimi that she's (Mimi) not bailing on her. Mimi tells Jan
that after what happened to her in Paris, this whole revenge
things seems a little petty. Jan tells Mimi that life goes on but
Mimi says that her life almost didn't. Jan says that she (Mimi)
survived and now they have to make sure that ghoul girl gets shot
in the nude and when the pictures go up on the internet, she (Chloe)
will never live it down.
Shawn and Belle (who even my hubby says looks adorable in that
hat!), talk about Philip. He asks how John is doing. She suggests
they try to get Philip to open up about his feelings and
remembers how he left her bear when she was in the coma. She asks
how he knew that was the right thing
and hugs him when he tries to shrug it off.
Mimi and Jan continue their gab fast at dotCom. Mimi tries to
tell Jan she's re-evaluated her life after almost getting killed
and Belle was right about her. Jan points Mimi's attention to
Belle and Shawn outside to show her what her best friend is doing.
Belle and Shawn walk in laughing and Jan enjoys egging Mimi on. (Hello
Mimi, Belle and Shawn have been friends forever too, remember?)
Mimi flashes back to "the kiss" and Belle's warning
that it might have been "just a kiss" and Belle's
promise to talk to Shawn). Jan mumbles there's no doubt that
Belle's putting the moves on Shawn as Mimi overhears and pouts.
At the coffee bar, Shawn complements Belle on her new hair do and
he doesn't mind being seen with her now, lol. He hates being
referred to as "sweet" and she takes it back and refers
to him as "real". He compliments her hair again and
she's happy she can now cheerlead again as her head injury is all
healed. She tells him about how her mom and Brady don't get along
and how her mom hit him. She hates telling him that and asks him
not to tell anyone and he grabs her hand, reminding her he's her
bud and can trust him. Awwww...(but Mimi doesn't like it). Jan
continues to egg Mimi on to make her agree to continue her plan
against Chloe. She kicks a guy out his booth and brings up her
plan on the computer to show Mimi (we don't see it). Jan does her
Chloe imitation as to what Chloe will say on operagirl.com. She
has some computer guy lined up to do this and even put sunglasses
on Chloe. Jan tells Mimi to trust her that her dreams will come
true when this happens. Later Jason tells Jan off (high five
Jason) and she sits next to Shawn to get the knife out of her
back (push it in harder Shawn). She tells Shawn that her dad
talks to her mother like that (oh, don't even try to make me LIKE
Jan). Belle returns and couldn't find Mimi, so plans to go look
for her. He asks about the movie and Belle asks for another time
and leaves. Outside Mimi watches this and hobbles off feeling
sorry for herself that she'll never have anybody when Belle calls
out for her.
Shawn asks Belle if she's seen any good movies lately and she
tells him no. He asks her if she'd like to see an American action
movie and they compromise and toast glasses, saying it's a "date".
A morose Mimi hobbles over and although Belle invites her to join
them, she declines. Belle reminds him the kiss meant more to Mimi
than it meant to him and goes to find her friend.
The Dimera's
The show opens with Lexie running to Stefano's mansion. Stefano
opens the door and looks up and says that it looks like thunder
clouds are gathering. Lexie, now inside, tells Stefano that
there's a storm coming, all right, but she's not talking about
the weather. Stefano wants to know what's going on and where
Isaac is. Lexie says that her mom has Isaac. Stefano was hoping
that all was well because he hadn't heard from Lexie for a day.
Lexie tells Stefano that she asked Abe to alter the picture of
Marlo and she made it clear that if the investigation goes
forward, there is a possibility they could lose Isaac. Stefano is
surprised that Lexie confided so much in Abe. Lexie says that Abe
is her husband. Stefano asks," So? Did he acquiesce with
your request?" Lexie says that Abe refused because he has to
go by the book. Lexie then yells," That damn book!"
Stefano tells her to relax and explain to him what happened.
Lexie says that Abe defied her and Abe is sending the picture out
unaltered, hoping to get a positive I.D. Stefano calls Abe a fool
and asks if Abe didn't consider the consequences. Stefano says
that an I.D. could be catastrophic. Lexie asks her father if he
thinks she doesn't know that. Stefano tells Lexie that one thing
she must know is that Abe cannot be trusted.
Lexie tells Stefano she can't decide between her husband and her
son. Stefano reminds her that her husband has betrayed her
already by sending out Marlo's picture. She is so grateful to her
father and he reminds her that their plan must remain between
just the two of them. She confesses telling Hope about what was
going on and he tells her what a serious mistake that was. She
explains being Hope had seen the picture and was an ex-cop, she
might know what to do. He wants details and she tells him. The
broken record plays as to how HE'S the only one she can trust and
is she a DiMera or not? She tells him under the circumstances,
she'd rather be a Carver and of course, daddy dearest does not
like that news. He tells her of the hard life Chloe had growing
up and Isaac could face the same if she doesn't watch what she
says. He wonders how they can silence Hope now and she worries
what he's planning to do, saying it will just blow over.
Nancy & Chloe
Chloe is back home and Nancy tells her how glad she is that she's
back. Nancy says that she's been counting the days. Chloe says
that she wasn't gone that long. Nancy tells Chloe that when they
heard about the terrorist attacks and the shootings, she and
Craig couldn't sleep, waiting to hear. Chloe says that she wasn't
hurt so don't be melodramatic. Nancy asks," Melodramatic?"
Nancy says that she (Chloe) could have been killed and asks Chloe
if she isn't allowed to worry about her own daughter. Nancy says
that it was the headlines all over the world and 15 people died,
including her (Chloe) boyfriend's father. Nancy says that Chloe
has been through a terrible ordeal and she must be feeling like.....
Chloe interrupts Nancy and tells her not to tell her how she is
feeling because she (Nancy) has no idea. Nancy says that she
wants to know and she wants Chloe to open up to her, and she
wants to be there for Chloe. Chloe tells Nancy to please back off.
Nancy tries to get Chloe to open up (good luck Nancy!). She begs
Chloe to let her help her and Chloe coldly snaps back that would
it make Nancy feel better for bringing a baby into the world and
then getting rid of it (oh, get over it Chloe!). Nancy figures
it's good for Chloe to express how she feels. Chloe finds fault
with that too. Nancy, close to tears, tells her daughter she had
already confessed to why she did what she did at the time, but
this is the present and she will love her now, no matter what!
Chloe turns and asks Nancy to do something for her. Nancy offers
to do anything and Chloe tells her she's worried about Philip
being he lost his father. Being she never knew her father, she
needs to know who her father is. Cue frightened look on Nancy's
face as the thunder and lightning continue. Nancy tells her she
can't tell her about that. Chloe tells Nancy she could NEVER love
her (slap that girl, please!!). She calls her mother (to herself)
a fake and looks outside to see Philip in the rain staring inside
the window at her.
Kate holds Philip's picture saying all the money in the world and
Titan aren't worth losing Philip for. She drops Victor's picture
and vows to get her son back and not let Victor win as the
credits roll...

Everyone in Salem seems to pair off as a storm rages
through town... complete with loud thunder and a pouring rain.

Philip & Chloe
Chloe gazes out the window and sees Philip standing there in the
pouring rain. He comes up to the glass and they hold hands
through the door. She joins him outside and they talk on the
front porch. He is upset over his visit with Kate and tells her
of his mother's odd behavior. She tries to console him, but tells
him that she isn't the person to offer advice about mothers. She
tells him that he is the only person she trusts and that she will
never be able to trust Nancy. He questions her and she doesn't
want to talk about her problems, but he wants to try to help her.
He tells her that there is something important he needs to tell
her, but she interrupts and tells him that she only wishes that
she had the opportunity to know HER father. Nancy won't tell her
who he is, so Philip offers to help her out. He says that they
can dig into Nancy's past and together they can solve the mystery.
They kiss and then run out into the pouring rain. Philip tells
her that he wants her and needs her close to him. She says that
she wants him too and they kiss passionately. They run off into
the night.
Abe & Lexie
Lexie is at the police station in a panic. Abe tries to convince
her that the drawing of the woman may not even be Marlo. But
Lexie isn't buying it. Abe questions why she is so SURE it is
Marlo. She tries to cover by saying that all his talk of Marlo
has her imagination running wild, she is just afraid of losing
Isaac. She says that with the body gone, they may never know for
sure. Under her breath, she says that was a good idea. Abe picks
up on it and questions her, asking if she has any knowledge of
how the body disappeared. She tells him that she just wishes it
would all go away. But Abe knows her well enough to tell that she
knows SOMETHING and isn't telling. A female cop interrupts them
and tells them that they have a lead on the body and may have a
positive ID. Cue panicked look from Lexie. She goes on to tell
them that they got a call from a man whose wife disappeared and
thinks it may be her. When Abe asks, she tells him that they had
no children and were unable to. Lexie lets out her breath and is
relieved to hear this, thinking that a false lead may save her
hide. Excited, she rushes off to tell Stefano the good news.
Bo & Hope
At the Brady house, Bo returns home and Hope begins to question
him about is conversation with Shawn. He is very vague and gives
her no details, even though she is dying to know what was said.
They start making out on the couch as Hope stops and wants to
know about Shawn. Bo tells her that they talked about Victor and
Hope is relieved and proud of her son. Bo wants to get back to
the business at hand and they start to kiss. He notices her tense
up and wants to know what is wrong. She tells him that she is
concerned about Lexie. She only tells him that Lexie is concerned
about losing Isaac (as she remembers her conversation with her).
Bo tells her that she is rightly concerned because of Stefano's
involvement. She just wants to drop it, but Bo wants to know what
is going on. She only tells him that she did have a conversation
with Lexie (but it wasn't important, girl talk) as she remembers
promising Lexie not to discuss it. They get that lovin' feelin
back and Bo carries her upstairs.
Sami & Brandon & Austin Makes Three
At Sami's apartment, Sami is restless as she hasn't got a call
about the meeting Mickey requested with Kate and her lawyer yet.
Brandon tells Sami that if Kate and Lucas refuse to play ball,
they can turn the tape over to Roman. He assures her that they
only have one option and that the tape is very incriminating. He
tries to tell her that she will have Will soon, she just has to
be patient. But she is upset, wanting Will ASAP. She wants Kate
and Lucas to suffer for all they have put her through. There is a
knock at the door, it's Austin. Sami is excited to see him and
drapes herself all over him. As she babbles on and on about
missing him, Brandon has had enough and slips out the door. She
turns to see that he is gone. Sami says that he CAN'T leave her,
she needs him. She runs into the hallway, but he is gone. Austin
wants an explanation as to what is going on and she promises to
explain all. He tells her whatever scheme she is up to, just to
drop it. He urges her to work out a joint custody deal with Lucas.
She refuses to drop it as Austin defends Kate and Lucas. She
tells him that she is sure they were responsible for Franco's
death. Austin doesn't want to hear it, but she gets him to say
that if it is true, then he would disown Kate. He says that she
would be dead to him. Sami changes the subject and tells him how
glad she is that he is back and is sure that they can work
everything out.Brandon goes to visit Benny and they talk about
the Larry's lawsuit against Abe. Brandon wants Abe to lose
everything, but at the same time he feels sorry for Lexie. He
says that Abe destroyed his family and now he doesn't deserve to
have one either. He asks Benny to hold off for just a little
while, until he gets a chance to talk to Lexie and explain
everything.
Kate & Lucas
Brisco tells Victor about the meeting request he got from Mickey
(and Sami) to meet with him and Kate. Victor instructs his lawyer
to set it up. Kate (still in her ostrich neck/boa dress...is that
thing tacky or what?) gets a call from Gene Brisco (Victor is
with him and listening on the speaker phone) and he begins to
bombard her with questions. She gets a bit suspicious and asks if
he is totally behind her on fighting Sami. She considers dropping
him, but he talks her out of it. He offers to set up a meeting
with Mickey Horton. After their conversation, Lucas is drinking
like a fish. He tells her she always gets what she wants and will
get her Philip back too. Kate tries to get him to stop and tells
him that he needs to be more productive, saying that she won't
always be around to take care of him. He comments that maybe she
won't, but her money will. She gets angry and calls him an "ungrateful
bastard" and tells him that he doesn't deserve to have Will.
They argue and Kate says that Austin was right about Lucas. Well,
THAT was the wrong thing to say and sets Lucas off belittling
Austin and reminds her that Austin is on Sami's side. Kate
finally tells him enough is enough and that they must stick
together if they are going to win. To herself, she comments that
keeping custody of Will cannot interfere with her retaining her
money/power.At Gene's house, he and Victor discuss Kate and toast
her downfall. Victor talks about this being the end of Kate and
that Gene will sink her. Gene says that he is only drilling the
holes in her boat, but Victor will send her to the bottom. Victor
says she will be swimming with the fishies as he smiles and the
credits roll.
