Mimi gets her Christmas surprise and Brady has a
homecoming.
Episode #8952
Directed by Herb Stein
Tape Date: 11/14/00
Kate Gets BUSTED!
Kate shows up at Titan (apparently at Victor's request). Soon
after Vincent Moroni shows up as well. They talk about Brandon
and Sami as Kate tells him not to let Angela make the biggest
mistake of her life. Vincent informs them that trusting Kate was
his mistake and that she betrayed him. Victor questions him as to
what Kate did and Vincent spills the entire story of how Kate
called him and told him about thinking Victor was having an
affair and how she took him to the Blue Note where they found
Sami and Brandon. He says that she is manipulating him to save
her own self. Kate says it is all lies and that Sami and Brandon
are lying to Angela, but Vincent says he knows it's all true,
because Angela has evidence. Victor wants to know what the
evidence is and Vincent tells him that Roberto made a death bed
statement and Angela taped it (I thought Victor already knew
about the tape). Kate tries to protest, but Victor tells her to
just shut up. He asks Vincent what he wants in return for the
tape. He starts talking about some "territory" from a
deal 10 years ago. Whatever he means, Victor gets upset and tells
him no. Vincent says "well, then, Kate is a dead woman."
Sami/Brandon/Angela Triangle
Brandon finds Sami at the hospital cafeteria, wondering where she
has been since she stormed out of his apartment. They talk about
his feelings toward Abe with Sami telling him he is wrong. As
they talk, Angela calls wanting to know when he is coming over.
He tells her she is busy and brushes her off. She asks where Sami
is and he says probably shopping. He tells her she needs to find
something to do (like get a job) and quit calling him all the
time, which insults her. When he gets off the phone, Sami again
starts on him about Abe, suggesting they talk. Brandon doesn't
want to hear it and walks away. Sami gets home, to be jumped by
Angela, demanding to know where she has been. Sami gets angry and
calls her a spoiled brat and storms to her room. Later, she can't
find Angela and is worried. But Angela soon returns with dinner
from Tuscany and apologizes, agreeing that she IS spoiled and
wants to change. She tells Sami that she wants to have her
wedding at Tuscany, to which Sami could care less. Brandon is
making his rounds and bumps (literally) into Jennifer. They
introduce themselves, then Brandon encounters a boy patient (Stan)
who is attempting to run away from the hospital. He talks with
him and changes his mind as Jen is impressed with his charm.
After Brandon leaves, Jennifer asks Alice about him. Alice tells
her to stay away from him, he is trouble, plain and simple. (Jen,
better listen to your Gram!)
Chloe's Christmas Surprise
Philip walks Chloe home as he questions her as to what is in her
bag, thinking it is a gift for him. She straightens him out but
tells him that it is a special gift for someone and it will
"stick" with that person for a long time. He asks her
to the Bope wedding and she is touched that he invited her to a
family thing. After a few awkward moments, they kiss on the front
porch, but she pulls away. Philip leaves and Chloe goes inside
and sneaks to Mimi's room (what a pig sty!) She goes to the
bathroom and gets out Mimi's shampoo and pulls a tube of "super
industrial strength cement" out and squirts it into her
bottle and returns it, laughing while she works. Earlier, Mimi
was at the hospital, telling Shawn that she fears for her life
and that he and Belle may be attending her funeral before long.
He tries to talk sense into her, but she says that he is a fool
and that Chloe is crazy and is trying to kill her. She says that
she is taking every precaution to protect herself. She returns
home and decides to take a shower. In the meantime, Chloe goes to
the hospital (Says she is looking for Craig, but I think she is
setting up her alibi) and visits with Shawn. After they talk a
while (mainly about Brady) she asks him to walk her home. Once in
the bathroom, Mimi pushes a dresser behind the door and says she
feels like Janet Leigh in Psycho (LOL). She gets in the shower
and puts shampoo all over her head and magically becomes a "screaming
Mimi" again. (I mean BLOOD CURDLING screams).
The Homecoming
Shawn and Belle are at the hospital talking to Alice. Belle asks
about Brady and Alice tells her to see for herself, but there is
a beautiful lady with him right now. They go in to find Jennifer
and all are excited to see each other. Jen comments on how they
have both grown and how she remembers holding them both on her
lap, one on each knee. (Gee I remember as well, that was WHAT, 2
years ago? LOL). Shawn and Jen leave Belle and Brady alone to
talk. Belle wants to help him, but doesn't know how. He says that
she is the only one who really knows him and treats him normal.
She wants him to come home, but he objects. The nurse comes in
with medicine and Belle steps out to talk to Alice. She finds out
that the doctors have said that Brady can go home, but he doesn't
want to. Belle goes back and tells him she knows and tries to
talk him into it. She tells him about her mom feeling guilty for
what happened and all the trouble she is having. Brady has second
thoughts and decides he WILL go home. As Belle goes to make the
arrangements, Brady plans his revenge against Marlena.
John and Marlena are still at the penthouse and John seems to
calm down a bit. He says that he will leave it alone and deny his
son. Then he gets snippy again and calls Marlena the "all
knowing doctor". But she says that he should consider the
child, as Hope is trying to do. She says it is always the child's
rights, welfare and happiness that should come first. She
explains that Hope is trying to protect her son. John says that
one thing that Marlena is missing is that he loves her and that
it is because of HER that he cares so deeply. She keeps him going
and drives him. But she says that she doesn't deserve his love.
He says that he knows she never meant to hurt Brady, it was just
a matter of circumstances. But she says that Brady will never
forgive her and will never understand and she doesn't know how to
make it up to him. John says it is time for him to come home, but
you can see that Marlena doesn't want that. She tells him that
Craig suggested a rehab center, but John will hear NONE of that.
He says that they can help him right there at home and that love
can overcome (as he holds her tight). Marlena tells him that
Brady returning home would be a disaster and that Brady would
never even consider coming back there. Later, Belle comes in all
excited, followed by Brady in a wheelchair. John is thrilled as
he rushes to him but Marlena just stands there in shock as she
and Brady stare each other down. Without a word, she takes off
upstairs as Belle asks where she is going. Shot of Brady's cold
stare, as the credits roll

Nancy to the rescue, Marlena's packing her bags and a pre-wedding
surprise is in the works.
Episode #8953
Directed by Roger Inman
Tape Date: Various
The Bridal Party
Jennifer is at Lexie's, planning a pre-wedding surprise for Bo
& Hope. (Guess Abby's hanging with Gran?) Hope arrives and
shows them JT in his new baby tux. She surprises Lexie with a
matching tux for Isaac and the ladies decide a baby fashion show
is in order. Later both boys are in tuxes and Jennifer holds one,
commenting on his eyes are just like Grandpa Tom's. Oops, wrong
baby Jen, that's Isaac, Hope says. Jen apologizes, saying she
doesn't know the boys that well yet. Hope announces Marlena can't
be matron of honor anymore (does Marlena know that?) and it was a
hard choice between the two of them as she loves them both. Lexie
understands that Jen is Hope's cousin and should stand up for
Hope. Jennifer accepts being the one to hold Hope's flowers, as
long as she doesn't have to catch them.
Rolf and Stefano are driving home from Dr. Steiners office
pleased with Hattie's transformation into Marlena. Stefano says
Hattie's not there yet, but making good progress. Stefano
realizes he must get rid of Marlena and substitute her with
Hattie to get soldier Black back full time. Only one person can
match John's capability and that's the heir apparent, baby Isaac.
He's sure Isaac inherited John's strengths (surprised he doesn't
try to use Brady for that as by the time Isaac is 20, Stefano
will be in a rocking chair..oops, forgot about Salem's rapid
aging tea for kids). Stefano knocks on Lexie's door and walks in
greeting Hope and Jen, who hug each other in response. Stefano
radiates at the fear in their eyes (slap). He thinks the babies
are adorable in their matching tuxes and Hope explains it's for
the wedding. Before he can touch JT, Hope whips him out of the
carrier and upstairs to change him, with Jen following with the
diaper bag. Lexie wished Stefano had called first, but he tells
her he came to play Santa with lots of gifts in the car. He's
disappointed she's not looking at him as her father rather than
the enemy. Hope changes JT and Jen tells her about her and Bo at
the DiMera factory. Hope laughs at the image of Bo playing Jen's
drunken husband and glad he brought her home with him. Lexie asks
Stefano about Marlo's body again and he tells her to just enjoy
Isaac and forget Marlo. As he hugs her, Jen and Hope return and
Stefano tells Lexie he'll return at a later time with the
presents. Hope follows Stefano out front to talk with him. She
warns him that she and John have been comparing notes from the
past and for Stefano to stay away from her and her family. She
goes back inside and Stefano chuckles, throws his coat over his
shoulder and says "too late".
Hope returns inside and Lexie gets a phone call. As Hope plays
with the baby, Jen and Lexie exchange glances (surprise party?)
as they mention to Hope they know she and Bo have an evening
alone planned and she better go. The girls are so giddy that Hope
gets curious, but doesn't let on.
Brady's Homecoming
Replay of Belle wheeling Brady in and Marlena fleeing for her
room. Belle and John give Brady the pep talk about walking again
while Marlena lies on her bed, knowing she's responsible for
Brady being paralyzed and will have to be reminded of it every
day that she sees him in a wheelchair. She gets her suitcase out.
John tells his son that he had all of his things moved into the
guest suite (on the first floor?) and asks Belle to take care of
Brady while he runs upstairs. Brady tells John and Belle about
wanting to run away from the penthouse and Marlena will be all
the incentive he needs to walk again. He apologizes to Belle
being Marlena's her mother and he knows that she loves her, for
being so blunt.
John finds Marlena packing and tries to talk her out of leaving.
Marlena tells him she can't see Brady in a wheelchair every day
and John tells her she's not the victim here. She wished she was
the one paralyzed and he realizes she does love Brady deep down.
She continues packing (she keeps packing pajamas, I guess she's
planning on sleeping a lot, haha) as John tries to talk her out
of it. She tells him she's going to the Salem Inn and asks in
tears if he can come by and see her tonight. He doesn't agree to,
simply answers that she's leaving their family and her vows. She
asks him to call her then and he walks out.
Shawn arrives to check on Belle before going to dotCom (another
long night in Salem). He tells her he just walked Chloe home and
yes, it was his idea. She doesn't let Shawn in as Brady calls out
to him at the door and goes out in the hall to talk to him
instead. They get close and he plays with her hair (searching for
silly string he says). She moves closer and he steps back (come
on, kiss already!). He wants to ask her to be his date at the
wedding, but clumsily mentions they'll be expected to dance
together at the reception and she agrees to do so. He leaves in
the elevator and Belle smiles after the doors close.
A Screaming Mimi
A replay of Mimi screaming in the shower, realizing it wasn't
shampoo, but glue. Nancy hears noise from her room as she walks
by the doorway. Outside Chloe was walked home by Shawn and the
two discuss her need for revenge against the bullies of the world.
As Chloe steps inside we hear Mimi screaming CHLOE from upstairs,
but Chloe explains it to Shawn as the neighbor's tv. Nancy greets
her and mentions the screaming as well. Chloe tells her it's
Mimi's brother's tv and as Nancy heads off to tell him to turn it
down, but Mimi screams again. She asks Chloe what's going on (come
on Nancy, you were the queen of evil deeds back in Mike &
Carrie days, remember?) As Nancy and Mimi exchange shouts, Chloe
stands there with one liners about the situation. Mimi yells she
can't open the door, she's stuck. Chloe refuses to help, but
Nancy tells her she will and she has an idea (through the window
outside?) Yup,.we see Nancy hauling an extension ladder (by
herself as Chloe watches) to the window and yelling for Mimi to
come to the window (Mimi's now at the mirror looking and
screaming). (Where are Mimi's mother and father and why aren't
THEY helping?) Chloe refuses to climb the ladder for Nancy and so
Nancy does it herself. (there's snow on the ground and Chloe
doesn't even HOLD the ladder). Half way up Nancy suggests they
call the fire department and Mimi screams no as she's nude. Nancy
thinks she said LUDE, but Chloe (on the ground) corrects her with
she said she's nude. Nancy finally gets to the window and Mimi
screams that her hands are stuck to her head and she can't open
the window. Chloe chuckles from the ground. Mimi tells Nancy that
her hands are stuck to her head as a result of the rat incident.
Nancy asks what rat incident and for Mimi to turn the water in
the shower off. She says she was on the way upstairs to go to the
bathroom when she heard Mimi screaming and had way too much
coffee. Mimi tells her to come in and go then and Nancy starts
climbing through the window when it shuts on her at the waist.
Nancy struggles and the ladder falls to the ground as Chloe
laughs from the ground. Nancy tells Mimi she's stuck and has to
go to the bathroom as the credits roll..

The Damsels In Distress.......
Mimi is still screaming away as Nancy cannot free herself from
the window. She finally convinces Mimi to shut off the water in
the shower with her elbow. Chloe is chortling below with glee as
Craig arrives, rights the ladder and climbs up to try and rescue
Nancy. When this does not succeed, he decides to go in thehouse,
and scolds Chloe for her apparent lack of concern. When he finds
the bathroom door locked, he tries to convince screaming Mimi to
push the dresser aside, but Mimi is too worried about being naked.
Suddenly a large crash of thunder and it begins pouring rain.
Nancy slides out of the window, which comes down, Mimi screaming
that Nancy has fallen, Craig rushes outside. Nancy is hanging by
her fingertips, getting soaked. (Boy, is water running in the
shower was causing her "bathroom urge" to get out of
control, what about this rain? LOL) Chloe is laughing all the
while, as Craig again rights the ladder, and Nancy is able to
climb down as Craig begin to climb up a few rungs. They are both
so glad to see one another, they get romantic right there in the
pouring rain, with a great lip lock! And just in case you wonder,
thru the window we see Mimi is still screaming, as Chloe stands
in the doorway behind her.
Not So Jolly At The Penthouse.........
Marlena, in her bedroom, is murmuring to herself about how the
family, Brady, and her decision to leave as she looks at a
picture. Downstairs, John explains to Belle and Brady about
Marlena moving to the Salem Inn for a while. Brady's face changes
as he realizes this is going to put a glitch in whatever his
plans are. Marlena comes down, & Belle offers to go with her
so she won't be alone. Marlena says no, the family needs her, and
tells Brady to take care. She goes out in the hall, says goodbye
to John. As John goes back in the apt. Brady comes out in the
hall, and taunts Marlena about his condition. He knows how guilty
she feels, and tells her it will get worse. She leaves in the
elevator, Brady goes back in, as John is comforting Belle. He
gets a phone call from Maggie, who tellshim let bygones be
bygones, he is no longer banned from Tuscany and that he should
be there at Bo & Hope's party. (see below) Belle brings Brady
ice cream and they talk a bit, but Belle is not happy. At the
Salem Inn, the manager brings a tiny Christmas tree into
Marlena's room. She calls her service to tell them where she is,
and there is a knock at the door. It is Maggie, who talks Marlena
into going to the party.
Let's Party!!!
Nearly all the rest of the Salemites are arriving at Tuscany,
dressed to the nines, and carrying beautifully wrapped packages.
(Tis amazing that while the entire midwest is being buried under
snowfalls, it is pouring rain in Salem, and it is warm enough
just before Christmas (!!) for Craig, Nancy & Chloe to be
outside without jackets, and all the ladies in the bare
shouldered evening gowns are not even shivering outside in the
slightest)Everyone hides as Bo & Hope arrive. Maggie shows
them to their table, and they decide to dance first. Maggie comes
to claim Hope on a trumped up excuse, then leaves her alone. A
door opens and all the ladies yell SURPRISE! A bridal shower.
Meanwhile Maggie tells Bo that Hope needs her makeup kit out in
the car (yeah, right, that is what everyone does), but he starts
to leave with a puzzled expression as Roman & Abe grab him
and whisk him off to another room. Yep, bachelor party! Bo is
gifted with all sorts of gag things, cigars are passed around,
Phillip nearly chokes on his to Shawn's amusement. Bo gets one of
those silly hats with a beer can on each side with tube running
down to his mouth. Meanwhile Hope gets all the sexy lingerie one
could want, and a lovely chapeau made from all the bows. The gals
and guys join up and everyone is having a marvelous time. Bo
& Hope, wearing their silly hats, kiss, then pose for Abby,
who is taking pictures. Abby roams the room, snapping some
wonderful shots of the various guests. As Bo & Hope dance,
she signals Julie, who brings out JT. Bo is delighted and grabs
him as he brags about his wonderful boy. Out in the hall stands
John, who says......No, everyone has to know he is MY boy. And
the credits roll.

Episode #8955

Tape Date: 11/30/00
At The Penthouse
Belle and Brady are at the penthouse and she has rented some
movies for them. Shawn calls and explains how the 2 parties
merged and invites her over, but she refuses to leave Brady alone.
After she gets off the phone, Brady tries to make her go, but she
won't. She shows him the movies, one of them being a musical and
tells him that she knows that he likes opera. This leads to talk
about Chloe, but he doesn't want to talk about her. He asks her
about Shawn and she denies that he is her "boyfriend".
She talks about wanting her mom com come and Brady plays the good
guy and tells her that he has no problems with Marlena and would
love for her to come home, as long as she doesn't bring her
boyfriend, Roman. Brady explains that Roman shot him down to
score points with Marlena. Belle is shocked and upset and Brady
takes it back and apologizes for saying it. She asks about his
therapy and urges him to try and stand. He tries but can't. She
promises to help him and be there for him, no matter how long it
takes. They talk about the future and he teases her again about
Shawn. He encourages her to go to the party and while there, she
can talk her mom into coming home. She rushes to the phone to
call Marlena to see if she is still there.
Party, Party, Party
The rest of the show takes place at Tuscany where the bridal
shower/bachelor party is in full swing. Lots of little
conversations/confrontations going on. Sorry, I couldn't catch
them all,
but will hit the highlights (or lowlights, whichever way you see
it). Shawn calls Belle and invites her over (like I said above).
We get a replay of John's entrance, as Hope spots him and gets
nervous at his presence. Abe tells Lexie that he is uneasy with
John and Roman both being there. Victor is thinking of Kate, when
Philip interrupts him and tells him that all he wants for
Christmas is for them to get married. Victor and Sami get into it
over Kate (LOL, Victor tells her to go and play with a busboy).
She tells him that she knows that he and Kate were responsible
for her misadventures in Italy and informs him that she has the
evidence she needs to put Kate away. She advises him to dump Kate
and Lucas ASAP. Jen is wandering around in a sad mood as Julie
tries to comfort her, but she still refuses to tell her about
what happened with Jack. One of the partygoers is missing (Alice)
who we learn later from Jen , has gone home to bake Christmas
cookies (yum-yum). Maggie and Marlena arrive outside, with
Marlena really timid about entering, but Maggie talks her into it.
Hope tries to talk to John, but he is really snippy with her. She
tells him to just step away and deny his son. Marlena walks up
and hears this and after Hope leaves, asks him if he can do what
Hope asked. He asks her to return home with him and work things
out. They tell they love each other, but she needs time. Bo and
popShawn talk about his trip to Ireland. Bo tells him that he
isn't finished there, to which popShawn gets upset. Bo tells him
that he thinks he may be responsible for what happened to him
while there. He wants to know what secrets he is hiding. Roman
interrupts John and Marlena to say hi. John calls him a bastard
and tells him to get out of his face. (Well, hello to you too!
Sorry if I repeat myself, but what an ass John is!) Abe ponders
breaking them up, but Lexie talks him out of it (good move, Lexie).
Marlena breaks them up and Roman walks off. She tells him that he
forgave her and Abe, please try to do the same with Roman. But,
John marches across the room and tells Roman he wants to see him
outside NOW. Jen makes her way to Marlena and they catch up as
John and Roman go outside. As they go, Hope and Bo see them and
she wonders if Bo should go out too, but they decide not.
Outside, they get into an argument and John tells him to stay
away from him. Roman tries to apologize for what happened to
Brady, but John doesn't want to hear it and accuses him of being
in love with Marlena and warns him to stay awawy from her. When
John returns, Marlena demands to know what he said to Roman and
he tells her. He even tells her that he thinks Roman is still in
love with her. She says not to blame Roman for what happened, she
is to blame. She explains that she and Roman share 2 children, is
she to NEVER speak to him again? She asks what if she felt that
way and demand that he never speak to Hope again. (Good one
Marlena!) Or for that matter, never speak to anyone again? Again,
he asks her to come home with him and she again tells him no,
that she needs time. John talks with Victor and thanks him for
his help. Victor tells him if Brady ever needs a place to stay,
his door is open (after all, he runs a boarding house for
troubled teens and young adults, doesn't he? LOL) Roman and Abe
talk and Roman reveals that he is frightened by John's odd
behavior. He tells Abe that he will not let John make Marlena's
life miserable. After Roman leaves, Abe tells Lexie that it is
plainly evident that Roman still loves Marlena. Bo and Roman talk
and Bo tells him that he would be happier if John would stay away
and how he is always "hovering" around JT. Philip is
teasing Shawn about his "girlfriend" as Shawn denies
liking Belle. They change the subject to sports as Jen walks up.
She tells them that she used to be a cheerleader at Salem High.
Then Abby announces that Shawn's girlfriend is a cheerleader too.
Shawn gets really flustered and denies that Belle is his
girlfriend (Oh, enough already!) They talk about basketball and
Abby says that her daddy taught her to shoot hoops. They ask her
to show them and as she aims a napkin toward the waste basket,
hits Julie in the head. (funny). She laughs and says that's okay,
she doesn't use her head for thinking much anymore anyway. (can't
help but love her). As the group starts a conga line to a sexy
version of Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, Marlena sees John
leaving (he thinks she has left already the party). She starts
out as well, and is stopped by Sami, who tries to cheer her up.
She tells her that she always stood by her and loved her when the
rest of the world didn't. She tells her mom that she has always
been her hero and walks her out. (Loved that short exchange as
Sami defends her). The rest of the party is getting wild as the
conga line forms, lead by Maggie. The whole cast joins in as they
dance the night away. Jen rushes over to an observing Bo and Hope
and makes them join in. As everyone is having a
great time, Bo and Hope dance and the credits roll.

Christmas Eve Day in Salem as Alice reads the Christmas
story for the children. Also, Nicole gives Lucas an early
Christmas gift.
Episode #8956
Directed by Phil Sogard
Tape Date: Various
Hope's Big Day
It's Christmas Eve Day in Salem, the day of Bo and
Hope's wedding. Bo is spending some time with JT when Hope comes
down and announces that they can't get married. He asks her if
she is crazy while she explains that the groom isn't supposed to
see the bride the day of the wedding. (She is kidding of course).
He follows suite and says that they will just call it off. As
they laugh, he reminds her that they are ALREADY married. They
laugh about it being the third time for them to get married and
he tells JT that he would marry his mommy 1,000 times. Hope tells
him to forget it, this is the LAST time. She puts JT down as Bo
gives her an update on how things are progressing in the back
yard for the reception. She talks about how she missed Christmas
last year and gets sad, but Bo assures her that they are making
up for it this year. They hang the stockings and talk about the
baby and she tells Bo that she is so happy as they share a tender
moment and kiss. Later, Hope is all excited, rushing around
telling Bo she has so much to do today. Bo keeps yapping,
antagonizing her and tells her that there is only one way to shut
him up as he pulls out the
mistletoe and they kiss.
Nicole's Christmas Gift
First we see Sami wandering around Salem Place singing. She drops
money in Santa's kettle and tells him that she will get
everything she wants for Christmas this year. Over at the
Kiriakis mansion, things aren't quite as festive. As Lucas and
Will share some quiet time, Nicole comes in with an early gift
for Lucas. Will encourages Lucas to open it, and it's divorce
papers. (LOL, Will asks "Daddy, what are diborce papers?")
Lucas and Nicole argue as she explains that she plans to go to
Mexico for the only "quickie" she will ever enjoy from
him. She assures him that Will won't be his for long and Lucas
tells her to get out. She tells him that it will be he and Kate
who will be leaving, and that maybe Santa can give them a ride to
the poorhouse. She threatens to expose what she knows unless he
signs. After he signs she leaves and Will gets a piece of candy.
Sami comes in and asks Will where Daddy's candy is. Will points
to the liquor cabinet and says "in the bottles". Sami
is thrilled with this info. Lucas sends Will out to get his
picture of Santa he drew as he and Sami get into an argument. She
taunts him about his marriage troubles. Will returns with his
pictures and she assures him that they will both get what they
want for Christmas. Nicole returns and she and Sami chat (as
Nicole calls Lucas a Scrooge). Nicole asks about Brandon, but
Sami doesn't give out much info, except that his marriage will
help her. Sami goes to get Will (they are going to the hospital
party) as Nicole and Lucas argue some more. Lucas tells her to
just take her $5 million and leave, but she wants more than that.
He calls her a selfish bitch and she agrees with him and leaves.
The Black Family
At the penthouse, Brady and Belle are playing video games and
having a good time. Brady gets excited and tumbles over in his
wheelchair. Belle offers to help him, but he gets angry at her.
John comes in and helps him anyway and he gets mad. John tells
him that they want to help him because they love him and are
going to continue whether he likes it or not. Brady goes to his
room to get ready for his doctor's appointment as John and Belle
talk. Belle is sad about her mom and John tells her that he just
spoke with Marlena and she is going to the wedding with him. He
tells Belle that he is going to try and get her to return home.
After Belle and Brady leave, John takes off as well.
Marlena is wandering around Salem Place and says a prayer for
Brady to walk again. She gives money to Santa, who hopes her
Christmas wishes come true. She tells him that she needs a
miracle this year. She gets a call on her cell phone from John.
She tells him to stop worrying about her, she is fine. He asks
where she is and she tells him Java Café. As she is on the
phone, he walks up behind her, turns her around and kisses her.
Mimi's Unveiling
Chloe and Philip are at Salem Place as he asks her what she wants
for Christmas. She tells him she will get her gift tomorrow when
the Lockharts move out. Shawn is also at Salem Place and runs
into Mimi, who has a purple scarf tied around her head. He
wonders whatsupwithat and asks if she dyed her hair a weird color
or something. She tries to make up an excuse, but they are joined
by Philip and Chloe. Jan and Jason are also there and spot Chloe,
Jan wants to just get away from her as Jason makes fun of Jan
because of Chloe getting her back with the rat. She vows revenge,
but Jason suggests that she quit while she's behind. Jan wonders
whatsup with Mimi's babuska. They all meet up and Chloe tells
Mimi to show everyone her new hairstyle and yanks the scarf off
her head and laughs (LOL, looks like a rats nest). She tells them
what Chloe did and Philip suggests that Mimi shave her head.
Belle and Brady come by on the way to the hospital and Philip
tosses him a football. Brady catches it and has flashbacks of
playing football and gets angry and demands they leave. After
they leave, the kids talk about how Brady was always an outsider
and is even more so now. chloe suggests that they go and hear the
carolers, but Jan and Mimi stay behind and plot their revenge
against Chloe.
The Hospital Christmas Party
At the hospital, Jen and Abby are helping Alice get ready for the
children's Christmas party. They are putting out cookies and
doughnuts (which look awfully good as I watch this). Abby can't
help but scarf down a few. Alice thanks Abby for her early
present, a decorated sweater. Jen overhears Brandon on the phone
with Angela and asks him if he has girl problems. She apologizes
for being nosey and tells him that Alice is her grandmother and
points out Abby to him. He asks about her husband. She gives a
brief explanation and he assures her that she won't be alone for
long (as he flirts a bit). She informs him that she isn't really
looking to meet anyone right now and brushes him off. (On a
personal note, I think Brandon needs to cool down a bit - he is
already stringing along 2 women - I don't think he needs a third!)
Jen rejoins Alice, who warns Jennifer (again) to stay away from
him (as Brandon and Jen look at each other from across the room).
Brady and Belle arrive as they are gathering all the children for
the party. Brady is upset because he doesn't want to go to a kids
party, but as he watches some of the kids, changes his mind.
Nicole and Sami show up with Will as Nicole questions Brandon
about Angela. She thinks there is something he and Sami aren't
telling her about his upcoming marriage. As the children gather,
Belle plops a little girl down in Brady's lap, to which he
protests at first. Alice reads the Christmas story from the Bible
as all listen intently. When she finishes, she tells everyone to
dig in. Belle tells her that she is amazing. But Alice refuses to
take credit, she says that it is the story that is amazing. Belle
asks to borrow her Bible and she reads from the book of Mark to
Brady about the lame man who walked. She assures him that he CAN
and WILL walk again. He scoffs at her that she has been watching
too much "Touched by an Angel".
Lucas Gets An Idea
Back at the mansion, alone, Lucas gets an idea and calls his
lawyer, Greg. He asks him to get him a list of all the countries
that don't have laws that extradite children back to the U.S.,
NOW. (I guess he plans on skipping the country). And the credits
roll.
