MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2000***
Pretty good show...that is if you can get past the
garden...and the limo love-fest (gag me). The Bo-Jenn scenes are
quite action-packed and exciting!

Princess Gina Returns To The Garden Of Stupidity
Austin and Greta are in the garden and a little girl appears, telling
them that so far they have passed their tests and now the stakes are
going to get higher. She asks them if they want clothes and racks of
outfits and 2 cabanas appear magically. We get a mini-fashion show in
fast speed (how silly). The little girl appears again and magically
fixes Greta's hair. She says while she's at it and Austin magically
has a haircut as well. Austin gets upset and just wants it all to
end, he wants to go home. The skies darken as they talk about Sami.
Greta gets upset because she has no one at home waiting on her.
Austin gets more agitated and wants to get out of there. Greta urges
him to just be patient and remember why they are there, to help the
children. He calms down (as does the skies). The sun comes back out
as a golden envelope flutters down from the sky. Inside, it says
ìpatienceî and they realize it was another test. Greta
wonders if her father will appear to her like Curtis did to Austin
and tells him that Gina revealed to her who her father was before she
died. Gina appears and asks Greta if she is upset because she didn't
believe her or because she told her. She tells her that with
patience, she will find out the truth and then disappears. Austin
asks Greta who her father is.
Gimme That Tape!
Angela and Sami have some mindless banter over the tape. Nothing new
here. Sami wants it now, at least just a little listen. But Angela
refuses and says that she can have it AFTER the wedding, in 2 weeks.
She tells Sami that the tape is in a locker at the train station and
after the reception, she will give her the key. She will then have
the tape and can bring down Kate and get her son back. Sami figures
out that Angela must have the key in her purse, and now she also
knows where the locker is and is excited. (Now I ask you, just HOW
DUMB is this Angela??? Geesh!)
Victor And Nicole Do The Deed
While we are at it, just HOW DUMB is Victor??? Well, anyway, he and
Nicole have done the nasty and are still in the back of the limo
dressing. Nicole rambles on and on, but Victor is extremely quiet
(perhaps realizing he let his LITTLE head do all the thinking???) She
asks him if he is sorry about what happened and he says she made him
feel young again. She tells him that it could just be a one night
stand and never happen again if that's what he wants, but I think
Victor wants more. He asks how he can be sure that she won't use this
against him (ya think??? DUH! That was the whole purpose!) She
assures him that she would NEVER hurt him, but Kate and Lucas will
and have. She tells him that she knows that they have made mistakes
and she knows about them. She questions Victor about Sami's
ìaccidentî in Italy. She tells him that he could end up
in deep trouble and must protect himself. He assures her it was an
accident and they had nothing to do with it, but she knows better.
They arrive home and she kisses him goodnight. As she goes inside,
Victor wonders how much this evening will cost him. (Plenty, I'm
sure!)
Kate & Lucas Hatch A Plan
Meanwhile, in the mansion, Lucas is hitting the booze as Kate rags
him about it. She suggests he call Maggie, but he assures her that he
is fine and knows his limits. They talk about Nicole and Kate makes
the statement that Victor loathes her as much as she does. (ROFL, if
you only knew). They argue and Lucas asks Kate why she wasn't at
Victor's meeting, which infuriates her and she tells him that he has
the brain of a gnat (I can't remember why she told him that, but it
stuck with me). They also talk about Angela and wonder what evidence
she might have. Lucas tells her that he is going to take Will and
leave the country, which spurs Kate on to belittle him about what he
will do for a living, pick cocoanuts? (They really have some funny
dialogue in this show). Lucas points out that Victor may be a bigger
problem than Sami and brings up the fake will she was talking about
earlier. She says that wouldn't help much, unless Victor was dead.
Lucas points out that they HAVE covered up a murder before. Lucas
says that they don't really need Victor and runs him down as Kate
thinks it over. Lucas asks her point blank if she would be able to do
it. She says that they must carefully plan how to proceed. Nicole
walks in and almost catches them. Kate jumps her and tells her to get
out. Then Victor walks in and as Nicole leaves the room, thanks
Victor for a wonderful evening. You can almost hear Kate's and
Lucas's jaws hit the floor as both of them look on. STUNNED!
More Guns For Bo & Jenn
Bo, Jenn and Abby are making their get away in the jeep and Jenn
loses the car following them. She tells Bo that she isn't going back
to Salem with him right now. The car finds them again and with her
expert driving (LOL, watch how all 3 of them lean from left to right
as she supposedly turns corners) she loses them again. But the jeep
has a blowout and they wreck. It won't start and they decide to take
off on foot. The car catches up with them (it's Walter and Declam)
and they start shooting at the jeep, which catches fire. Bo helps
Jenn and Abby (who calls him "Uncle Bo" Whasupwithat???) and they
make it to Jenn's friend, Annie's place. They explain what is going
on and tell her that Declan is trying to kill them. Not sure, but I
think Annie says that he is her son. They pile on her boat as Declan
shows up. Annie pulls a shotgun and fires it his way. As they take
off, Jenn apologizes to Annie, who in turn says that she is having
the time of her life!
John Spills His Guts To Hope
At the hospital, we get a replay of John's revelation to Hope. She,
at first, thinks he means his namesake, but she corrects him and
says, he means that Johnny is his child. He tries to explain but Hope
is in denial and tells him to stop it. He explains how/when it
happened (and since we all have seen it a thousand times I won't
recount it here). At first she doesn't believe him until he tells her
about the DNA test. He assures her that he is his son. "It's a
(medical) fact!" he says. John feels bad that there is nothing he can
say or do to make things right. She says that everytime she looks at
him she will feel humiliated. She asks him what he sees when he looks
at her. He tells her he sees a friend who was used, abused and
tormented by DiMera. She says all the things Stefano made her do, she
understands why Bo ran off. John tells her that Bo doesn't know that
he is the father. The only one who knows is Marlena. He says that
when Bo returns, they will tell him. Hope says NO, Bo must never know
the truth, NEVER! John looks on, shocked as the credits roll.
Laney
We've had several people e-mail us that they missed part of the 35th
Anniversary Show due to election result interruptions. Just a
suggestion, but you might try calling your local NBC affiliate to see
if they'll consider replaying it during the middle of the night when
you can tape it?
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 14,

Nicole tells Lucas the truth while Hope pleads with John not
to tell the truth to Bo. A rough sail ahead for Bo & Jen.

Ireland Coast - Dramamine Alert
Jen, Abby, Bo and Annie are finally out of gunshot range. Bo explains
this is like a mystery and Annie claims to love mysteries and has
some Agatha Christie mysteries below. As the boat rocks (nows the
time to pop a dramamine) they all talk about how Jen and Annie have
gotten close. Annie goes down to the galley to help Abby get some
food and Bo tells Jen she reminds him of Mrs. H. Jen agrees and
confesses to missing her grandmother the most. She tells Bo that
Annie use to come in the pub and cheer her up (Annie did like her
pint now and then ;-). Annie lost her husband Gil a year ago. Both
Jen and Bo notice how pale Annie is when she returns (she took a pill
out of a little pill container on the way to the galley..bad heart?),
but she changes the subject and suggests they sail to New York City.
She's got enough canned food on board and extra clothes if needed.
Jen gets lost in thought and goes on top to think when a strong wind
hits the boat. Bo helps her down and they refer to the wind as the
Doomsday Wind. Bo tells them to all go down below while he gets the
boat ready for rough weather.
Brandon & Sami
Brandon finds Sami (both donned in black leather) in an alley. She
tells him about Angela wanting to marry him in two weeks and that she
figured out the key is in Angela's purse and where the tape is.
Angela has her purse with her at all times, but she'll try to get it
while Angela's sleeping.
Victor, The Newly Awakened Man
Victor is now dressed for bed, but wearing a very satisfied smile as
well. He lights up a cigar and smiles at his memory of his and
Nicole's adventure on the ride home (no flashbacks thank goodness).
He calls and wakens his lawyer again (the poor guy) to tell him he's
ready to untangle himself from Kate and Lucas. He wants to meet with
him first thing in the morning to discuss it. Victor now feels like a
new man and intends to start living the life he wants.
Angela Has A Visitor
Papa decides to visit his bambino claiming jet lag. Angela (who's
wearing beer can size rollers to bed (yeah right!)) has to listen to
her father boast that once his little girl is married to Brandon,
he'll become another Moroni foot soldier. Papa leaves and Angela goes
back to bed. Later Sami returns home and creeps into Angela's room
and looks through her purse, not finding anything, when Angela wakes
up and asks what Sami's doing.
Hope & John Talk In The Chapel
John tries to convince Hope to tell Bo the truth that he's Johnny's
father. He figures it'll be easier on Bo not thinking Stefano's the
father. Hope starts asking John how it was when they were together
(being he can remember and she can't). She asks if she was better
than Doc, etc. John wonders where this questioning is coming from
until Hope tells him that's what Bo would be thinking if he learned
the truth. John admits that his and Marlena's relationship is
suffering because of this situation and also what's happening with
Belle and Brady. Hope pleads with John not to tell Bo the truth, it
would only make things worse. Being their families are close he can
still be involved in Johnny's (what happened to JT?) life, but she
asks that he make a sacrifice and love Johnny from afar.
Mo, Larry & Curly..er, I Mean Kate, Lucas &
Nicole
Nicole walks in overhearing Kate and Lucas argue. She informs them
that she knows what happened to Franco and wants everything..the
house, the cars, the business, the limo, EVERYTHING. A lot of name
calling and snickering going on. Kate threatens Nicole that she could
become the next body found in the Kiriakis mansion, but Nicole
doesn't break a sweat. She proceeds to tell Lucas that his mommy paid
her $5 million to marry him. Lucas goes crazy and launches onto his
mother and starts strangling her. (hey, one less problem for the
Vic-meyster!) as the credits roll.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15,

Many Salemites are out about town tonight as the hunt continues
for Brady (now with the warrant for his arrest). Things heat up in
the Kiriakis mansion. (A hurrah for me, as no Garden today! LOL)

IN BRANDON'S APT.....
Brandon is lifting weights, mutters something about Abe, and makes a
phone call. Shyster lawyer Benny comes over wanting his money as
things are just dragging on for too long. Brandon puts him off,
warning Benny not to mess with him. The phone rings, and it is Sami,
wanting to meet with Brandon right away. He leaves
AT THE WESLEY HOUSE....
Chloe, in her room, has flashback of her & Philip outside
kissing. She says she must be weird, otherwise she would not be doing
this. She is dressed all in black, (leather jacket and pants) and
finishes zipping a backpack. We see her pedaling along on her bike.
Meanwhile, Brady is laying amongst some shrubs against a fence. He
flashes back to being mugged and beaten, and Chloe coming to help. He
is bleeding, and looks up to see Chloe arriving on the bike. He won't
let her call 911, so she tends to his wounds with the first aid items
she brought in the back pack (that girl thought ahead!). They see
headlights, and scrunch down, as Abe & Roman stop to shine a
light in their direction. After Roman and Abe leave, Chloe gets Brady
to sit up on the handlebars, and she pedals to the emergency entrance
to the hospital. (That is one strong gal, as it would be hard enough
to do with a kid sitting up there.) Brady passes out, Chloe runs into
the hospital for help, and when she returns with a nurse, Brady and
the bike are gone.
AT THE KIRIAKIS MANSION.......
Philip returns home to hear the sound of muffled voices, arguing, in
the parlor. He doesn't hear what is said and goes upstairs to see his
father. They have a nice conversation over tea (uh oh) about Chloe,
young love, and Victor tells him to "be true to who you are", and
that this first love may not be the one he will ultimately end up
with, as he will grow and change and so will Chloe. Philip asks
Victor when he and Kate will get married. Victor makes flimsy excuses
about how he & Kate are becoming reacquainted, and Philip cannot
understand this.Downstairs the argument between Nicole, Lucas and
Kate is escalating. After Nicole reveals she was paid to marry Lucas,
(who turned on Kate and got her in a choke hold) Kate breaks away.
Kate says Lucas should not complain, as he had the services of a high
priced whore for over a year. Nicole retaliates, saying Kate has
cornered the market on that description, crawling into bed with
Victor and exploiting his wealth, and that she should have held out
for even more money to marry Lucas. She continues to rub it in about
their involvement with Franco's death, how she wants it all for
revenge. She leaves to go upstairs and visit with Victor a bit. Lucas
is sloshing martinis down so fast, he should be laying on the floor
by now. He and Kate discuss how they can squirm out of this
situation, and again talk of getting Victor to sign over everything
to Kate. They agree that, even then, Victor has to die first, before
they can reap the benefits. Philip is standing in the doorway....and
demands to know what the blazes they mean!
REPLAY OF SAMI SNEAKING INTO ANGELA'S
ROOM...
to search her purse. When Angela awakens, asking what she is doing,
Sami mumbles something about seeing the light on and coming in to
turn it off. She says she was at her grandparents and talks about how
she used to love going there as a kid...then initiates a pillow fight
with Angela, who is not amused.(Don't think I would be either) She
leaves to fix her giant tin can curler that came loose, and Sami
finds the key in Angela's purse. She decides to put it back, Angela
returns, they say goodnight, and Sami calls Brandon to meet her. They
are next seen in Brandon's car (who has meanwhile gone to the train
station and rented a locker to get a sample key), and he decides to
stop at the diner to say hi to his mom. (don't these people ever
sleep????)
ROMAN AND ABE ARE IN THE SQUAD CAR...
searching for Brady now that a warrant has been issued for his
arrest. They near the diner and decide to stop for coffee. Inside,
Hattie is in a booth, talking to Faye. Her ex-boss comes over, with
his insulting remarks. She shows him she has lost 20 lbs. He says if
she loses 10 more, she can have her job back, but with restrictions
on her alone. She tells him to shove it. (LOL) Hattie tells Faye
about her impending nose job, and how it will look like Dr.
Marlena's. The door opens and the two cops come in. Hattie gets all
flustered seeing Roman, and does a bit of flirting. Faye goes to pour
coffe for Abe, who tells her she must tell Brandon the
truth......that Abe knows Faye is Brandon's mother. Roman's cell
phone rings, and the emergency room nurse at the hospital is calling
to tell him about the girl saying Brady was seriously injured and in
the parking lot. He says keep the girl there, and detain Brady if he
shows up to see Belle, and dashes out. He tells Hattie to tell Abe he
will send a car for him. (This is SO improbable, it is
ridiculous....Abe is his BOSS....and only 2 feet away. Roman would be
on the carpet so fast......) He leaves, and Brandon & Sami enter
the diner. Sami sees the back of Hattie's head, and says "Oh, there's
my mother, I am going to say hello", then gets really startled as it
turns out to be Hattie, who gets up, turns around and rushes out.
Brandon is furious to see Abe with his mother, grabs him and pulls
his fist back as Sami yells his name to stop him....freeze frame and
the credits roll.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16,

The longest night in Salem continues. Surf's up on the Irish
seas and high five to Barb..I didn't have any Garden of Eden today
either ;-) Lucky Laney will probably get it tomorrow or Friday!

Sailing In The Wind
Annie and Bo joke about the storm, but Jen tells Bo she has Abby to
think about and can never go back to Salem if that's what he's
thinking. No mystery cruise for her, thank you. The storm's sounding
meaner than it looks like as Bo tries to get Jen to open up. Annie
insists they come back and sit down, then launches into "When Irish
Eyes are Smiling" while grabbing her chest. (I'd think that little
boat would be rocking a lot more in a gale wind) Jen stands up to get
away from Bo's questioning and gets knocked overboard. Bo throws a
rope to Jen and asks Annie to help pull Jen in while Annie pops
another nitro pill (hope she's got plenty with her). Later Annie
reaches for another pill when Bo asks if she's okay. She hides the
pills and her cellphone rings (think I'd be calling the coast guard
if I had one of those on me). Annie excuses herself and answers it.
It's Declan warning her that the radar shows a bigger storm coming
and to come back to shore. She hangs up and tells Bo it was her
"randy" butcher and he'd better set the sail to the wind. Bo returns
to Jen (who's hair is totally dry already) and she comments on how
wonderful Annie is and again compares her to Gran. Bo reminds her
Gran doesn't pack a shotgun (LOL!). They see 10 ft. waves ahead and
Jen asks Bo to put the boat ashore. She even take Salem over being
out there and rushes down to put a lifejacket on Abby.
University Hospital
Hope gets good news from the doctor. Johnny can go home in the next
day or two (wow, amazing) as he's doing so well. The doctor tells
Hope to go home and get some sleep, but she stops by to tell Lexie
the good news first. Lexie brings champagne/sparkling cider out to
toast Johnny's recovery. While holding a very energetic Isaac, Hope
now is deliriously happy understanding Bo's actions and anxious to
plan for their wedding. She wants to rush into his arms upon his
return. Hope tells Lexie she knows her encouragement in the OR is
what saved Johnny's life. Back in the trauma center, Chloe is
questioned by a plain clothed cop when Marlena and Roman appear. She
tells them about what happened to Brady. Roman asks where she thinks
Brady is going and she tells them she has a feeling if Brady has the
strength (being hurt) that he'd leave Salem for good. They thank
Chloe for her help and after they leave, Chloe calls Philip and tells
him she helped someone (doesn't say who) who was hurt and is stranded
at the trauma center. She asks for his help and he rushes out with
Kate wishing him good luck. (What time of night is it? This is the
same night Roman and Brady were arrested at Tuscany, yet a 16 year
old can go off late at night with a kiss from his mother wishing him
good luck?) Philip picks up Chloe and she tells him about Brady and
remembering their conversation, believes he's innocent and didn't
hurt Belle. Brady drives her up to a hill somewhere (do Craig and
Nancy notice she's even gone?) and they kiss. She takes off her
glasses and asks Philip to kiss her like he means it. She stops him
and asks to leave, which they do.Back in the hospital, Marlena and
Roman run into Belle's doctor. He's happy with Belle's progress and
will take her out of the coma right away. Marlena is thrilled and
follows the doctor into Belle's room. (That doctor is sure wide awake
for that time of night). Roman is anxious to hear what happened from
Belle. Marlena tries calling John's cellphone, but no answer. The
doctor brings Belle out of the coma and Belle smiles and says hi to
her mom, but tells her she's tired. The doctor explains she'll be
woozy for a while and Marlena strokes her daughter's wrapped head and
tells her after she's told them what Brady did to her, she'll never
have to fear him again, but Belle had drifted off to sleep.
Kiriakis Mansion
Philip demands an explanation from Mom. Kate covers by saying she was
only commenting about not being financially secure being unmarried
and the only way she could be secure was if Victor died. The two talk
a little about him when Chloe calls and he leaves.Brady calls John's
cellphone from a payphone in Salem Place, asking for him to come get
him. John tells him he'll be right there and Brady collapses on the
ground after hanging up. John arrives and Brady tells him about being
mugged by the trio. John checks for signs of internal injuries and
once satisfied there are none, helps Brady to his car. They hear
sirens and John tells him it's an ambulance, but spots two of Salem's
finest (there are some that actually WORK?) patrolling with their
flashlights. John checks them into a motel and tells Brady to rest
while he leaves to do something. Brady writhes in pain on the bed.
(Neither of them know about the warrant for Brady's arrest, do they?
Why are they hiding?) John returns with a first aid kit and cleans
Brady's wound. He tells Brady he's going to hide him in a safe house
first thing in the morning when the manager knocks on the door
demanding an extra $5 for the extra person in the room. John steps
outside and gives him $$ and returns to find Brady sleeping. John
looks outside and looking up in the sky, tells Isabella he had let
their son down, but would make up for it now.
Diner Floor Show
A replay of Faye and Sami peeling Brandon off Abe. She orders them
both outside and tells Sami to stay inside. She joins Abe and Brandon
and admits telling Abe that Brandon's her son. He's upset Faye told
him anything personal about them and Abe tries to call for a truce.
Brandon refuses to even consider it and threatens to expose Abe's
past history, saying he should be in jail. Abe tells Brandon his
father was the one who deserved to be in jail and he hopes he stays
there when Brandon launches on him again. Sami comes out and helps
Faye pull him off Abe. Faye pleads with Abe not to take her boy to
jail as he calls for back up on his cellphone. Abe cancels the backup
and again tries to shake hands with Brandon. Brandon spits on the
ground instead. Abe walks away, and Faye doesn't understand why
Brandon's acting this way, Abe's just a friend, she says. He tells
his mother if Abe's part of her life, he (Brandon) won't be as the
credits roll.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17,
2000**
Originally, I gave this episode 3 stars, but took one away
because of the Garden of Eden story. I beg the soap gods...PLEASE END
THIS THING and put it out of its misery!! (Personally, I think the
real-life soap opera going on in Florida is more entertaining ;-) and
for the record...I am NOT amused by either!) It's time for both of
them to end!

Out Of The Garden And Back Again
Well, it's a new day in the Garden of Eden. Austin and Greta wake up
as the sun rises. She feels weak and tired and Austin realizes that
she has a fever. He yells for help, telling Charles (remember
Charles? That freaky butler) that Greta needs a doctor. They hear
Charles' voice telling them to head for the door. As they look
around, a door magically appears and they go through it, right into
the castle. They wonder if it's over (okay, save your confetti, this
story is way from over). Charles comes in and asks them if they are
ready to end their journey. Greta gets upset because she thought it
was over. He offers them a deal, they can quit now and she will
receive her title and the estate, but not the extra money for the
orphanage. They find out that if they fail, Charles gets the money.
Greta gets mad (I think she calls him a selfish pig) and wants to
continue. Charles tells them that they won't make it, it's only going
to get harder but she and Austin are determined. Back through the
door they go, falling through space. When they land in the garden,
they find another golden envelope. This one says "perseverance".
Austin laughs and says it should say "stubborn". They hear a woman's
voice warning them, telling them that there is danger ahead. They may
have to pay with their lives. Greta says that they are NOT giving
up.
Sami & Brandon Over Their Heads
Sami meets up with Roman at Salem Place and invites her for coffee
but she declines. They chat briefly and she learns that he was at
Tuscany with Fay Walker. This upsets her and she wonders if they
talked about her and Brandon. She assures him that she loves Austin
and is not falling for Brandon. Roman asks Sami to be careful and he
heads to the police station. (I don't even think he told her about
Belle coming out of her coma). Meanwhile, Brandon and Angela are at
Java CafÈ and she is chattering on about them being in love
and the wedding. Brandon asks about her father, but she assures him
that "Pappa" likes him and will be happy for them. Sami (all wrapped
up in a shawl & coat) comes by and swipes Angela's purse. She
meets up with a rough looking key maker in the alley. Angela realizes
that her purse is gone and panics realizing that that woman took it.
Brandon tells her to stay put and he will look for the woman. He
meets Sami in the alley and they rush the guy making the key as
Angela can't stand it and goes looking herself. They guy finishes and
Brandon takes off and runs into Angela as Sami disposes of the purse.
They go back to Salem Place and Brandon spots Angela's purse. She
checks it and the money is gone, but she is happy the key is there.
He tells her that he has errands to run but she is fine, because she
is meeting Pappa for lunch. They kiss and part ways. Later, Brandon
meets up with Sami at the train station and they open the locker. She
is thrilled to find the tape. From the shadows, Angela is watching
them and says that Brandon failed his test. Not to worry, Pappa will
take care of both of them.
The Awakening
Just-Shawn is at the penthouse arguing with Willy the doorman. He
finally lets Shawn in and later he leaves with something. He arrives
at the hospital and goes to see Belle, leaving her Buddy Bear by her
side. He goes to leave and hears her say "don't go". He is excited to
see she is out of her coma and sits by her bed and they talk. (He
even tells her that he will refrain from the hair comments for a
while, but tells her "nice hat" referring to her bandages). He talks
about what happened and how afraid she must have been. But Belle
claims doesn't remember anything about any accident and doesn't know
what he is talking about.
John Covers For Brady
Earlier, John had arrived at the hospital and opened Belle's door to
find Marlena by her bedside, both asleep. He talked to the doctor and
finds out that Belle is out of her coma. He is relieved about her
condition and asked if Belle said anything strange and asked if Roman
Brady had been there. After talking, he tells the doctor that he is
going to get something to eat and leaves. Later, Marlena is awake,
getting coffee and Roman arrives. The doctor tells them about John
being there and leaving. Meanwhile, Brady awakens at the no-tell
motel and finds a note from John. It says that he is going by the
hospital and then to the police station. Brady panics and thinks that
John is going to turn him in and goes to leave and passes out at the
door. John comes back and when he opens the door, whacks Brady in the
head and says "what the hell?" He looks in and sees Brady, goes in
and carries him back to bed. John assures him that he would never
turn him in. He gives him an update on Belle and tells him about
Roman looking for him. He tells him not to worry, that he will take
care of Roman. Brady makes a snide comment about Roman just wanting
to get Marlena back in the sack. John makes him promise to stay put
and leaves. Brady wants to go to the hospital and be there for Belle.
Back at the hospital, Marlena and Roman discuss what the police are
up to. Roman assures her that they are doing the right thing. She
tells him that despite everything, she loves John and doesn't want to
turn on him. She is sorry she dragged Roman into all of this. He
points out that Brady broke the rules and must pay. Roman tells her
that he is just doing his job and then leaves. John arrives and he
and Marlena just stare at each other from across the room at first.
She asks where he was last night, and he couldn't be there for his
daughter. He tells her that "something came up", which pisses her
off. She asks if he is hiding Brady somewhere and he refuses to talk
about that. They argue and then John wants to go see Belle and hear
what she has to say. Roman comes back and asks about Brady as John
refuses to answer him and goes in to see Belle. Roman tells Marlena
that they got a call from a motel manager and they have cops there
right now. She hugs him and thanks him. Back at the motel, Brady
turns on the radio and hears a news bulletin about himself. He looks
outside and sees the cops. He rushes to the bathroom to sneak out the
window, but the windows have a metal mesh over them outside. He
panics as the credits roll.
