MONDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2000*

Monday's show is pretty much as waste of time, IMO. Kate/Lucas/Victor scenes are quite amusing however.

Episode #8919
Directed by Randy Robbins

Tape Date: 9/29/00

Austin & Greta - zzzzzzz
Back to the Garden of Absurdity with the dynamic duo. They both hope that they will get out of there soon as their day of rest speeds by and it is night time already. Both of them are tired and settle in for the evening. They have a LONG series of flashbacks regarding their adventures to date. (Major fast-forward alert). For those of you who missed all these highly dramatic scenes (sarcasm intended) here's your chance to see Lillith, Witch-Sami and Jude, the King of Hearts again as they receive their little golden envelopes and pass their tests. Austin tells Greta that they are batting 1,000 and then has to explain the term to her. As they prepare to go to sleep, both are cold and pull up vines as a blanket. A pillar of fire appears and we hear a man's voice laughing. They eventually see it, but realize it doesn't give off any heat. They talk about their significant others (she talks about Eric) and Austin confesses that life with Sami is difficult. As they go to sleep, the fire continues to burn as a man's voice (Curtis Reed, Austin's father) says they will have them doing the nasty before long.

Brady Searches For Help
Brady is at Salem Place buying flowers for Belle when he spots Roman and takes off. He goes by the hospital to visit Belle and takes her a stem of bluebells and leaves them by her side.(Hey, anyone else getting tired of seeing that same head shot of Belle day after day??) He kisses her on the head and leaves. Later, he meets up with Victor in the limo and tells him that he is in trouble and needs help (reminder, Victor is his grandfather). He explains that Victor is the only one he can trust. They talk about Isabella (Victor's daughter) and her death. Brady wishes he could have known her. Victor tells him to get to know himself and he WILL know his mother. Victor wants to know how he can help, so Brady explains what happened with Belle. Victor says that all he can do is offer him advice and if his mother were alive she would want him to follow it. (Advice from a man who's latest greatest plan was to push Sami off a cliff? I don't THINK so.)

Kate & Lucas Find Themselves In Deep Doo-Doo
Earlier, at the Kiriakis Mansion, Kate is pacing the floor. As Victor watches her he thinks what a pair - the schemer and the sot. He vows that they will NOT drag him down with them. Then we hear Kate thinking. She knows that her goose is cooked with Victor. All Lucas can think about is wanting a drink. He thinks he does NOT want to go to jail and maybe there is a way out. Victor announces that Titan is up 7 points, and is all business. This infuriates Kate and Lucas both, that all he is interested in is business. Victor leaves for a meeting and Lucas heads straight for the liquor. Kate gets angry with him and he threatens to leave. She says that she hopes he had enough sense not to confide in Nicole. She asks him point blank if he told Nicole about killing Franco. He denies it at first, but then admits to it. Kate proceeds to blow a gasket. She doesn't know what to do now. Kate realizes that Nicole hasn't told anyone yet, and that she wants something from them. Lucas informs her that it is cash. Well, they realize that they have nothing to offer her without Victor in their corner. Kate talks about the codicil to his will again. Lucas points out that it will do them no good as long as Victor is alive. Kate gets a look in her eye and says "I know". Cue shocked look from Lucas.

Home Sweet Home
Sami, Brandon and Angela arrive at Sami's apartment, with her looking for Eric. (Geez, has she been gone THAT long???) She finds a note from him and realizes that he has left Salem. Sami mentions that Will will be crushed and Angela demands to know who Will is. Oops, they haven't told her that. Brandon doesn't want her to know, but Sami spills the beans and tells her everything, ending with that Kate is Will's grandmother. At first Angela is mad that they didn't tell her everything, but Sami swears that she loves Austin, not Brandon. Angela asks why she should be on Sami's side and not Kate's. So, Sami explains further about Franco being killed and how Kate framed her and convinces Angela to side with her. Angela asks Brandon if he loves her and he says with all his heart. So, Angela says, you (Sami) can have the tape. (And so, for Kate and Lucas - the doo doo just got a bit deeper.)

Marlena Betrays John (Or So He Thinks)
John and Marlena are at the penthouse and she finds a book of poetry and begins to read. John asks her if she remembers, since it was a poem from their wedding. She wants to talk about the baby, but John tries to discourage her. She tells him that she saw what he did at the hospital and he apologizes to her. She says that she has some kind of shift inside and is learning to accept things. They have all (John, Marlena, Bo, Hope, etc.) have been victims and don't deserve to be. She says that she is going to try and see things differently. John kisses her and he has ideas of afternoon delight. But the phone rings (it's Roman) for Marlena. He wants her to meet him at Java CafÈ. She tells John that she has an appointment and he assumes with a patient. She does not correct him and leaves. As she slips out the door, John tells her that they are going to be okay. On the way, Marlena feels bad about doing this behind John's back. John goes by the hospital to see Belle. He finds the flowers by her side and realizes they must be from Brady. He finds her book and as he reads, he assures Belle that Brady would never hurt her. The nurse comes in and looks in the drawer and finds that the teddy bear is still there. She takes it out and places it beside Belle in the bed. John asks who brought it and she describes Brady. John smiles and says "That's my Brady." At Salem Place, Roman tells her that they found Belle's blood on the lever switch (I guess that was the club thingy they found) and they assume that he hit her with it. Marlena says that Brady must be stopped and Roman tells her that there is an APB out for Brady. Roman tells Marlena if Brady comes back to the penthouse to call him immediately. Roman asks if there is a chance that John will understand and Marlena says no. He tells her that he has more news for her but we don't hear. John pulls up at Salem Place and sees Marlena's car and wonders what she is doing there. He spots her and Roman and wonders since when Roman is a patient (now remember, Marlena NEVER said her appointment was with a patient). He gets out of his car, slams the door and storms over their way as the credits roll.

Many of you have asked about the book Brady was reading to Belle in the hospital. It is 'Great Expectations' by Charles Dickens. Thanks to Kim for the tidbit. Also, many are asking where the Marlena Evans Black bio is.

Halloween in Salem (hey, glad to see holiday's are celebrated again!) and Jen & Bo team up in Ireland.

Episode #8920
Directed by NA
Tape Date: NA

Ireland
Bo is surprised to find Jennifer in Ireland and they hide before Declan wakes up. They agree their personal lives are off limits after both questioning each other. Neither of them is ready to return to Salem and Jen agrees to help Bo. He hopes he doesn't regret letting her help him and fills her in. Jen knows how ruthless the DiMera's are and feels she's tough enough to handle it. She leaves to check on Abby and Ian, promising to be careful.

Declan confides to the other goon that he saw Jennifer helping Bo, so they decide to pretend not knowing it was her and following her when she comes for Abby to have her lead them to Bo. They plan to get rid of Bo permanently. Jen returns to see Ian and the goons watch from a table in the pub.

Halloween In Salem
Brady finishes reading GREAT EXPECTATIONS to the "head in the bed" (all we see of Belle). Brenda questions a security guard hired by Marlena to guard Belle and Brady overhears from the room. Within the first few minutes, the guard wanders over to the hospital coffee pot and Brady sneaks out (wouldn't you be watching the door as you're pouring coffee if you were a guard? That's how poor Roberto got all his visitors too.)

Brandon surprises Sami by decorating the roof of her apartment house for Halloween big time, even the dry ice fog on the ground level. He rented 50's outfits for them (her with blue poodle skirt and him in leather jacket and slicked back hair.) She's a little down and tells him about how the roof was Carrie and Austin's special place. She hasn't found Austin yet (doubt you will either). (I wonder if she's seen Will yet? Eric left at the end of July and she didn't know HE was gone, so how long since she's seen her son or have they talked to the hospital to see if they have jobs still? Oh, silly me..this is Salem!) Sami tells Brandon being he's her super hero she should have gotten him an appropriate costume. He strips out of his white t-shirt after Sami spills her drink on him. He only asks one request..if he has to marry Angela and she asks what that is. A dance with him, and she agrees. He turns on the boom box and they dance (?) while she remembers previous times with him in the shower and kissing her. She cuddles up to dance and comments on hearing his heart beating (hey, where's Angela, watching tv?) We return to them as they finish dancing and Brandon tells her one last kiss after one last dance. He goes back for long seconds and she obliges. She finally pushes away and rushes off to find Austin. (wouldn't she want to take Will trick or treating?)

Outside the pub the teens are upset as Belle is missing out on her 16th birthday celebration and Halloween. They wonder what Brady did to Belle and Mimi stands up for Brady and tells them he's innocent until proven guilty. Jan struts up in Hawaiian costume and suggests Shawn try waking Belle up with a kiss.

Caroline and Shawn have the pub decorated for Halloween as well. She has her teeth blacked out and hands out candy to trick or treaters. Shawn is troubled about Bo being in Ireland still and mutters Bo will suffer the consequences. Caroline inquires about what THAT meant and Shawn walks in and rescues Shawn Sr. from answering. He tells them about the christening and Bo's call. He confirms Bo's okay, but being he didn't ask about the baby, Hope got upset and didn't tell him about what had happened. Shawn Sr. erupts and understands how Hope felt that way and that his son deserted his family. Caroline encourages Shawn to join his friends. Jan apologizes at first but then accuses Belle of doing this to just get attention. (yeah, right Jan, I'm sure) Chloe sits across the table from Philip and Shawn (wouldn't Philip be sitting NEXT to her?) Chloe reminds Philip he even called her vampira, etc., not that long ago. He apologizes again for that and asks what else she wants him to do. She wonders to herself why she keeps saying things like that and refuses Philip's offer to walk her home.

Shawn Sr. calls Ian and gets upset upon learning Bo got away from them. The two goons realize Ian's talking to Himself. Ian promises to get right on it. Shawn slams the phone and walks away from Caroline. She keeps following (like white on rice) and questioning him.

Brady looks in the pub and sees Chloe, remembering being shunned by her when he tried to touch her. She called him a repulsive creep and plans to teach her a lesson. A couple dressed as zorro and an angel are selling candy bars for $1. Brady gives them $50 (bet he wants the zorro costume). We see Brady putting the zorro costume on (told ya, haha). The angel and now plain clothed helper approach Chloe and a cop passes by and offers to buy one, halting Brady in his tracks. The couple tells Chloe the $$ will help foster kids, which takes Chloe to a memory of being in a foster home. We see a younger Chloe with braids and coveralls being told to clean up beer and trash on the floor. Her foster father was verbally and physically abusive as he yelled at her and pushed her onto the floor to pick it up. Brady watches Chloe's face as she remembers this. She gives them some money, but doesn't want the candy. Brady asks if she had problems with her fan club.

Jan and Mimi continue bashing everyone and Jan comes up with an idea. Philip (who still hasn't seen his parents since they arrived home or been called by them apparently) tells Shawn he wants to get things cleared up with Chloe tonight.

Salem Place
Meanwhile, it's still daytime at Salem Place (the birds are chirping and cars reflected in the store windows) as John confronts Marlena and Roman. He even accuses Roman of sneaking around with his wife (hello, EVERYONE goes to Java Café. Not a good place for a private rendevous.) ROFLMAO, we come back to the 3some and it's now nightime with crickets chirping. Roman tells John and Marlena that he checked the ER report on Belle and her ankle was hurt too. John figures Belle sprained her ankle and fell hitting her head. Marlena is surprised as she only heard about the head injury and figures Brady tried to tie Belle to the tracks. Roman fills John in on the train engineer's report and evidence they've found. Marlena tells John she thinks Brady is suffering from a bipolar disorder and needs intervention. John threatens to file a lawsuit with Salem PD faster than Roman can say beat cop if he doesn't drop this investigation. Roman said they can't do that as the investigation is piling up and they have a signed statement from the engineer. John asks if they had even thought of any other explanation to what happened. He points at Marlena and tells her he knows Brady's relationship with Belle and she doesn't. She ran for help from her ex who would help her do anything. They should examine their own motives before compiling trumped up charges against Brady. (they all have valid points IMO) John rushes off to find Brady while Roman comforts and hugs Marlena, assuring her that she's doing the right thing.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2000***

Halloween continues as Chloe & Brady exchange barbs, John visits JT, and that couple of "pure of hearts" in the Garden get their sexual appetities aroused.

Episode #8921
Directed by Phil Sogard
Tape Date: 10/3/00

At The Brady Pub.........
The teens are still gathered at the pub, & though it's still Halloween, it seems odd Jan is only one in costume. Philip continues contemplating going after Chloe to straighten things out, but can't understand why she is always giving him a hard time about the bet, but not Shawn. Jan & Mimi give Philip a hard time, and he gets depressed about his situation. Outside, Brady (in his Don Juan/Zorro masked outfit) confronts Chloe, calling her Drucilla, after a character in an obscure 17th century opera. He holds onto her arm in a menacing fashion, and Chloe realizes he is familiar, but cannot put her finger on where she has seen those eyes before. Brady calls her a snob & talks about how she hides her "real self". (And of course he is not hiding anything under that mask &
mustache, LOL) They banter back and forth and Brady leaves.

At Salem Place........
Roman and Marlena continue their conversation about John and Brady. Sami comes strolling by (The roof party is over apparently) and spots her parents. After the hugging & glad to see you back greetings are over, (so Sami returns to Salem, does not call or see her beloved Will, or even call her parents to say she is back!!!) they tell her about Belle, and explain their suspicions concerning Brady's part in her injuries. Sami cannot believe this, but tells her mother to give Belle her love. (Yeah, Sami, don't rush to the hospital to see her or anything). Marlena leaves, and Sami asks Roman about Austin. Roman knows zero and hasn't talked to Austin since he last spoke to Sami on the phone.

At The Hospital........
John visits JT, and talks about Brady, He tells JT how much he loves him. Hope comes in, smiling as she overheard. John asks why she hasn't told Bo about JT. Hope questions John about the big secret he seems to be keeping, and John defends Bo's absence. He makes Hope realize she has not been completely fair to Bo, and she promises to rectify the matter the next time she hears from Bo. John then explains how Marlena blames Brady, and they discuss the situation, and hug. Of course, Marlena walks in. Hope thanks them both for standing by her and they have a group hug. Alice comes along (so good to see Gran at last) and Hope takes her to see JT. Alice is puzzled about the initials, but pleased to hear Thomas is the middle name. (talk about being left out of the loop). Marlena tells John that Sami is back, and he gets upset when he realized Marlena warned Sami against Brady. They argue and John brings up Roman. Marlena reminds him she left Roman for John and says how much she loves him. They agree they have to talk, and make a date for Tuscany later "tonight". (Another endless night in Salem....like the past New Year's) John leaves and Marlena shows her true colors as she phones Roman to say she will have John out of the way, and Brady should be at the penthouse alone.

UNFORTUNATELY, we have another visit this week in the Garden of Absurdity with the Dynamic Duo (I have borrowed that description from Laney, it is so PERFECT!! & I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw it). Greta & Ausdum are asleep, as the dancing flame burns nearby. Greta awakens, and a bowl of fruit appears, which she assumes is breakfast. Curtis Reed's face appears in the flame, saying Greta should eat the passion fruit and we will see how long his son Austin remains innocent. She wakens Austin, and they begin to eat the fruit. Austin comments that this is the first time someone ever peeled him a grape. (Oh, Mae West, that WAS a great line). Austin talks about Sami and her lies, as they both eat the passion fruit. Curtis starts yammering away again and Austin hears him. The flame vanishes and Curtis appears with horns, forked beard, bare chest and a sort of furry covering from the waist down, with huge hoof like boot feet. He dances around, proclaiming that he is there to prove lust is greater than love. (What an absolutely evil laugh he has). Austin insists it is all a trick, when Curtis causes it to rain - some kind of warm, fragrant oil - and Greta gets all worked up. They try to escape, but flames are all around them. Austin resists his urges, but begins to cave in. They passionately kiss and we hear wild laughter. Freeze frame.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2000***

Halloween continues as half of Salem makes plans to dine at Tuscany. Greta and Austin pass another test.

Episode #8922
Directed by Herb Stein
Tape Date: 10/4/00

Another Long Night In Salem

Titan
Victor overhears Nicole ordering Marie around after learning she was going to go home. (Marie should have a cot there she spends so much time there) He takes Nicole into his office and puts her in her place. Marie interrupts asking Victor to prioritize the work she was given and he tells her to forget it all and just go home. He informs Nicole she's having dinner with him and gives her five minutes to freshen up (she claims only needing 2) then Victor ASKS Marie to make dinner reservations for him and Nicole before heading home (hmmm, he doesn't say WHERE, how about McDonald's ;-) Nicole returns quickly, now dressed in a gold cocktail dress she keeps in her office, to learn they're going to Tuscany (of course). Enroute in their limo, Nicole pours drinks and questions Victor on his and Kate's Italian adventure. She's very familiar with the limo and the chauffeur (Davis). Davis even compliments her dress and Victor hears enough and closes the privacy window, LOL!

After Marlena gives Roman the heads up that she and John will be out that night, Roman calls the undercover cop (who's perched on the bench outside Marlena and John's apartment building, reading a newspaper). Roman instructs him to call when Brady's in custody.

John (all in black) assures Marlena (maroon satin pantsuit) all will be okay. Outside their building she sees the limo John hired for them as he tells her he only wants to concentrate on her tonight. Sami and Roman are still at Salem Place sippin' coffee (Marlena's been to the hospital, home and changed for dinner already while they've been there). Sami briefs Roman about Italy and Brandon's plan to marry Angela. He warns her about them being too close or involved with the Moroni's and Sami promises to talk with Brandon the next time she sees him. Roman spots Brandon with Faye and tells her now's her chance.

Earlier at Salem Place, Brandon buys cotton candy for his mom (again, where's Angela, sleeping?) She tells him about his grandfather (good memories) and wished he could have been there during the rough times. Faye tears up remembering how Brandon defended her from his father. Roman and Sami join them and Sami pulls Brandon away to talk to him. She tells him about confiding in Roman (he's not happy about that) and tells Brandon she wants him out of this and she'll handle it alone.

Roman and Faye talk about Brandon and Faye feels Roman's not being fair to her son. Roman (who I'm sure will win tomorrow's point of the day award from MikeR) reminds her what Nicole did to Eric as he waves his finger at her. Faye wasn't aware of what had happened, and softly wonders out loud, what Nicole is doing with her life. Roman apologizes for being so righteous and tells her he understands after having problems with his own kids. He realizes they're both just concerned parents and asks her for a second chance. She looks over at Brandon talking with Sami (telling Sami he's NOT backing away from this situation). Sami tells him he's the strongest person she's ever met and that she loves him for doing this for her. They hug. Roman asks Kaye if she'd have dinner at Tuscany with him tonight as his way of apologizing. (wait til Hattie learns her best friend is going out with Mr. Roman, watch out! I wonder if that's where Rolf is taking Hattie out to dinner being it's the only place in town apparently). She agrees and he offers to pick her up in an hour, but she'd prefer just meeting him there. He tells her he's looking forward to it (now if Brady gets arrested, would Roman just take off and leave her there?)

Sami tells Brandon she'll take Angela to Tuscany for dinner for their girls night out. Maybe with enough wine in her, she'l tell them more.

Tuscany
Maggie greets John and Marlena when they arrive. She asks how Brady's doing and John bites off her head for asking. Marlena (understandably) is appalled at this and Maggie subtly tells her she's use to this treatment from John lately and excuses herself. Marlena tells John how Brady's taking priority over her and his daughter even. She breaks the tension by insisting they dance and he finally relents. After they both soften up on the dance floor, he admits being tense about Brady and mentions having the doorman call him when Brady returns home. Marlena discourages the idea and John gives her his infamous sideways questioning glance. She talks him out of it saying Willy the Doorman is a gossip and John agrees to just leaving a message for Brady.

Victor and the bimbo arrive at Tuscany. She also insults Maggie, asking if her name is really Maggie May or what should she call her. Maggie tells her just Maggie, or Mrs. Horton. Being a lady, Maggie calls a waiter and has him seat Victor and company. Two businessmen at a table comment on Victor's dinner companion to each other. The waiter even compliments Victor on having such a charming and beautiful dinner companion. Victor agrees on the latter comment, but informs the waiter she's only his employee (atta boy!) He orders their martinis and they banter back and forth. She asks if he's seen Sami since she's been back from Italy and Victor point blank asks how SHE knew Sami was in Italy (oops). She spots a councilman and his wife eating nearby and recommends Victor go say hello after they helped him with a rezoning issue. He agrees and she's feeling mighty confident her plan to take Victor down is working.

Garden Of Absurdity
OK, here we are again, listening to Curtis encourage Greta and Austin to get it on as they kiss and caress. She wants more as Austin tries to fight it off. Greta also tries to abstain while Curtis watches and cheers them on. He reminds Austin what a hotty Greta is and how he should take her. Curtis finally is free to walk around and Austin leaps on him and they fight. Gravity's not an issue here folks. Austin and Curtis mostly fly around hitting each other (whatsupwiththat?), but after Curtis "hoofs" Austin, Greta "flies" over and gets Curtis too. She tries to stop Austin from strangling Curtis when Austin finally decks him. She finally pulls Austin away, telling him that he killed Curtis. Curtis pops up out of the body and tells Greta that he's evil and evil lives forever. They both vow, that good people for all the days of their lives, will fight evil. (oh, gag me!) Lightning strikes Curtis and he disintegrates (yay!). Greta finds a card with the word CHASTITY on it.

Back At The Penthouse
Brady spots John and Marlena leaving from behind the shrubs and taking Victor's advice, returning to the penthouse. The doorman recognizes Brady in the zorro mask and the cop on the bench tries to stop Brady from going in. The doorman intervenes to protect Brady and the undercover cop whips out his badge, telling Brady he's going downtown with him. Brady breaks away and runs as he's being handcuffed. The cop confirms it was Brady Black from the doorman and runs off while whipping out his cellphone. The doorman (to himself) figures he should clue Mr. Black in on what's going on and remembers he went to Tuscany. An upset Brady is in a dark alley. Before leaving town, he's going to Tuscany to pay back the favor for the surprise he got as the credits roll.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2000**

Sorry if this is so disjointed. Most of the show takes place at Tuscany, jumping from table to table. Most of the show is pretty pointless, except for the last few minutes, which is a DON'T MISS!

Episode #8923
Directed by Herb Stein

Tape Date: 10/11/00

Tuscany Gets Some Action!

Figaro On The Docks
Chloe is wandering the docks, having flashbacks of Phillip and then of Brady (as Zorro). She questions herself as to why she behaves the way she does at times. Meanwhile, Brady is in an alley having flashbacks of almost being arrested. He pulls his sword and vows to teach "Doc" a lesson. He shows up on the pier with Chloe to harass her some more. She thinks she recognizes him, but he continues and they have some mindless banter. He quotes a line from "The Marriage of Figaro" and she recognizes it. Then, he begins to sing lines from that opera and encourages her to play along, since she knows it. Reluctantly, she does. She gets to a point and then rears back and slaps the CRAP out of him (apparently that scene is from the opera as well). When they finish, both laugh and admit it was fun. She then realizes he WAS the guy on the dock that night, but he never admits it. A cop approaches and Brady takes off. The cop questions her about who that was and then offers to take Chloe home.

Teardown At Tuscany
Hail, hail, the gang's all here! Roman and Marlena are already at Tuscany and are slow dancing. They return to their table and he tells her how much he loves her and they can work through their problems. Roman shows up with Fay Walker and they are greeted and seated by Maggie. John and Marlena see them arrive and John immediately makes cracks about them. Roman takes Fay over and introduces her but John is downright rude to them. After they leave, he asks Marlena what's up between her (Marlena) and Roman. She tells him that she is only trying to protect her daughter. They argue AGAIN - then John apologizes, saying he doesn't want to fight. She tells John that she loves him and that will never change, no matter what. J&M spot Roman and Fay at Victor and Nicole's table and wonder whatsupwithat (see below). John tells Marlena that all of their trouble between them is because of his son - correction- his sons. He decides that it is time that he tell Hope that he is the father of little Johnny, but Marlena is not too thrilled by that idea. John asks her why she is acting so strange and what big secret is she keeping from him. She tells him that she just wants their children to be happy - ALL of them.

Meanwhile, Hattie and Rolf arrive. OMG, he is decked out like Colonel Sanders (KFC). In fact, Hattie even tells him he isn't dressed right for Tuscany and he looks like he brought his own biscuits and gravy! LOL!! They are greeted by Maggie and he explains he has reservations under the name of Sanders (ROFLMAO!!!) Hattie spots John and Marlena, and is also surprised to see Roman and Fay there as well, wondering what is going on. She continues to watch J&M calling her a witch and him a galoot. Hattie keeps one eye on Marlena and one on Fay the entire time. The waiter comes to take their orders and Rolf changes everything she wants (she wants deep fried zucchini fritters - he changes it to a house salad. She orders lasagna, he changes it to grilled sole, etc.) He tells her it is all for her own good. She tells Rolf to drop the accent, no one would believe he is from the south and starts questioning him as to where he is really from. He makes up a crazy story about being the son of a pirate and she is intrigued. Then she realizes he is just pulling her leg. She tells him not to worry, he's not her type, but that Mr. Roman is. He tells her to stop watching Fay and Roman and keep her eyes on Marlena and emulate her actions. Rolf tells her that once she is Marlena's double, she will have LOTS of suitors. She claims she is not gready, she only wants one, as she watches Roman. Rolf continues to correct her faux pas all through dinner. He talks about a nose job for her, which offends her, saying her nose is part of her personality. She says he will probably give her a pig's snout (LOL).

Roman then spots Nicole and Victor and and Fay wonders what her daughter is up to now. She says that is very inappropriate for Victor and Nicole to be out together. Nicole had already seen then and was freaking out, praying they would not come over. Victor was even considering Roman and Fay to join them, but Nicole said her mother makes her crazy. Roman proceeds to drag Fay over and (as expected) Nicole is nasty to her. (She says something about her being powdered up with dime-store rouge). Nicole wants to know why they are out together and Roman and Nicole get into it over each other's motives. Victor demands that Nicole apologize to her mother and she claims that she was just kidding. But Victor is insistent on her apology, so she does reluctantly. Fay suggests they return to their own table, which they do. She confides to Roman that she had hoped that when Nicole had married Lucas she would straighten out her life, but it seems she hasn't. She even mentions Taylor and what an easy child she was to raise, but Nicole and Brandon were different, having a difficult childhood. He tells her that Nicole had insinuated that Lucas had been beating her and then Roman picks up on it and realizes that Fay was possibly a battered wife as well. Well, the evening had been too much for Fay as she gets upset and decides to leave, before the Main Event!

Brady arrives outside of Tuscany and peers in and sees everyone. He barges in and insults Maggie immediately (He makes fun of her dress and asks her if she is trying to be the Fairy Godmother for Halloween! Hurry, get Chloe back and let her slap him AGAIN!) She tells him he is not welcome there but he pushes on past her. She gets Roman and he tells her to call for backup as he charges after Brady. Brady stomps over to J&M's table and pulls his sword on Marlena, telling her to get ready to "meet her maker". John tells him it isn't funny and to put it away. But Brady is serious. Roman storms over and tells him to put it away and Brady tells him to "Go to Hell". As Brady tries to run out of the restaurant, Roman grabs him and they get into a scuffle. By now EVERYONE has seen what is going on. Hattie jumps to her feet, an excited rubber-necker, Victor yells, "that's my grandson!" - Marlena is gasping for air, as Roman slams Brady onto a table as John yells for him to get off his son. John tosses a poor helpless waiter out of the way and then grabs Roman and throws him across the room onto a table. It turns into a major brawl and pandemonium breaks out as the credits roll.
