MONDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2000**
Little Johnny Hangs On.
Episode #8914

Philip & Chloe
At the hospital, Brady is waiting outside of surgery for results on
Belle. The doctor comes out and tells him that everything went fine
and about the induced coma. Brady is thrilled with the news as the
doctor goes to find John and Marlena. Philip and Chloe are still
outside the Wesley house kissing (as Nancy watches through the
window). He doesn't want to say good night just yet and wants her to
go with him to dotCom. She wants to change and tells him that she
will meet him there. Inside, Nancy wants to have a little woman to
woman chat, and tries to talk her out of joining Philip. Chloe gets
upset and decides to go anyway. As she is getting ready, Nancy comes
to her bedroom and tries again. Chloe explains that she was taking
Nancy's advice and about calling Philip earlier and inviting him
back. Nancy tells her that going to him is not a good idea, because
she is not being true to herself, she should not change her entire
lifestyle just for Philip. Not getting upset, Chloe tells Nancy that
she (Nancy) is pretty smart but she is able to make her own
decisions, she IS going to see Philip. At dotCom, Philip is browsing
CD's when Brady shows up. Philip is less than thrilled to see him
(talking about their basketball earlier). Brady (sortof) apologizes
and offers to buy Philip the CD (even though he thinks that group
sucks). While paying, he hits on the sales girl, then hands it to
Philip and tells him Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Happy
Halloween, etc. Brady asks why he is there and Philip tells him about
Chloe. Brady is intrigued and Philip jokingly tells him to stay away
from her (uh-oh, can you see what's coming?) Chloe is heading outside
as Brady is leaving and he almost mows her down, to which she shouts
"EXCUSE ME" and heads on in. Inside, Philip pulls her close and tries
to kiss her, but she stops him. (Taking Nancy's advice?) tells him
that they need to slow down.
Bo In The Hole
In Ireland, Bo is still down in the hole as Jenn tries to talk to him
about the baby. She questions him and he explains, leaving her
shocked by the news. She hears a noise and hides as the two thugs
come in and toss Bo a package of food. Bo smells it and throws it
back, saying it is rancid. He then proceeds to threaten them saying
that the ISA and Interpool will get them for kidnapping an officer of
the law. They tell him he needs to go home, which he agrees - if they
let him out. They kick the food back to him and leave. Jenn comes
back out and he tells her he would rather eat one of the rats (hey
Bo, wanna be on the next Survivor???) She doesn't believe him, until
he tosses one up at her. She screams "Oh, My God!" (without the
accent) and Bo seems to recognize her voice. He questions her and she
tries to cover. She decides to leave and call home and talk to Hope.
She must know exactly what is going on.
Baby Johnny Bounces Back
We get a reply of Hope (and company) getting the news. John wants to
tell her the truth, but doesn't. Marlena can identify with losing a
child and comforts John (he says that at least DJ knew that she was
his mother). Shawn and Lexie comfort Hope, who wants/needs to see the
baby. Lexie is sorry she couldn't have done more to help (Gee, Lexie,
haven't you done enough? You could have at least made sure that the
baby was really dead before telling them, huh?) Hope asks her to go
to the OR and be with Johnny so he won't be alone. Lexie agrees and
returns to find the doctors still working on the baby. He is still
alive, but barley. She hears the doctors say it's over, but she goes
in and begs them not to give up. She finds the Chaplain outside the
OR and they pray together. The baby begins to improve as the doctors
feverishly work on him and Lexie continues to pray.
Back in the waiting room, Hope continues to cling to Shawn. He is
upset because he couldn't locate Bo, but Hope is grateful to have him
there with her. A nurse comes by and gives them the good news about
Belle as the doctor explains her condition to John and Marlena.
Marlena asks John to go with her to the Recovery Room to wait on her,
but John wants to talk to Hope first. He apologizes to Hope and
offers his condolences, and she thanks him for everything he did to
help her and for offering to help with the Baptism. As Hope goes to
find the Chaplain, John and Marlena get into it again about Brady and
his attitude. She says that they owe it to Belle to find out the
truth about what happened, since Brady won't tell them. John wants
her to just back off. She suggests they get professional help for
Brady. John tells Marlena that the must set things right. It is time
she knew the truth about the baby as Marlena stares at him in
disbelief. She urges against it but he doesn't want Hope to go
through this alone. He feels that this is the right thing to do. He
finds her in the waiting room on a pay phone. He takes a deep breath
and heads her way. Freeze frame and the credits roll.
Laney
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24,
2000**
Bo finds a friend in the hole, Johnny lives and the teens
find out about Belle.

Philip & Chloe
At dotCom, Philip tries for another kiss from Chloe. She tells him
not for a while, it's time he learn some restraint. He tells Chloe
about Brady liking opera (gee, that didn't sound like opera blaring
out of his room all those times to me). She splits for the restroom
and Jason slides into the booth to tell Philip about Belle being in
the hospital. Jason tells Philip about Brady being involved. Brady is
in dotCom and flirts with Heather while Jason tells Philip about
Belle. Brady walks over and shows a Madame Butterfly CD to Philip and
tells him it'll go over big with his girlfriend. Jason blurts out to
Chloe about Belle being in a coma. Brady sees Chloe approaching and
puts 2+2 together and rushes out of dotCom (after some tongue lashing
from Philip about not caring about Belle) still holding the cd (did
he pay for it?) Maybe Roman can arrest him for theft? He rushes
outside and grabs his bike (non motorized kind), realizes there's
something he needs to do.
Italy
Sami and Brandon grow impatient for the tape. Angela tells them the
tape is safe in Salem. Angela happily kisses Brandon after he tells
her they're all going to Salem. Sami wonders if Angela is playing
them as well and mimics Angela, resulting in a hot kiss with Brandon.
She asks if he's really going to marry Angela and he tells her he'll
do whatever it takes for her to get Will back. In her room, Angela
holds THE tape (liar liar) and realizes "Kate" is the same Kate she
met in the restaurant. Remember Kate's warning about Brandon, Angela
isn't sure if she can trust Brandon and drops the tape in her
purse.
Ireland
Bo grows frustrated in the hole. He even attempts to walk up the
walls (nice try too!!)
Jen smiles as she returns to her room and finds Abby dancing an Irish
jig. Jen needs to talk with her cousin Hope and calls her. Not
reaching Hope, she calls the hospital (everyone's always there) to
reach Marlena. Nurse Brenda is answering the phone (Sami's going to
be in such big trouble for that, haha). Jen asks for Marlena, saying
it's an emergency. Brenda tells her Marlena is tied up with an
emergency of her own, but won't tell her what and offers Jen another
doctor or the voice mail. Jen just hangs up. (why doesn't Jen just
say she's a Horton calling from overseas and is ANY of my family
there???) Abby realizes it was Uncle Bo they saw in the ally and Jen
leaves to go help him.
Bo finds a rat in his hole (excuse me, cover your ears while I
scream, thank you). He asks the rat for a way out of there while he
holds it like a pet Irish Jen shows up asking if he promises to go
straight home if she helps him out, explaining his wee baby needs
him. One of the goons shows up and Jen hides. The guy heard something
and calls out for whom ever's hiding to come out. Bo tosses the rat
out of the hole and it runs across the guy's feet. Figuring that's
what he heard, he talks to Bo and leaves. Bo calls up asking if
"little Missy" is still there (nice touch again by the writers, using
Missy's name ;-) that way...the actress playing Jen is Melissa (aka
Missy) Reeves for those who didn't know it.) Bo asks to see her and
Jen thinks hard about what to do. (hey Jen, he has no limit on his
credit cards, he'll take you and Abby home with him!) Bo tosses up
the rope, promising to go home if she helps him. She ties it to a
flimsy table leg and leans on the table to hold it down. Bo gets half
way up when Jen hears Abby call Mommy and lets go of the table. She
shoos Abby home and anchors the rope again for Bo, who fell after she
let go before (hope that hole is padded or he's going to have bruises
for sure!).
Salem U Hospital
Shawn prays for a miracle for Johnny. Lexie watches and prays in the
OR. A heartbeat starts up, even to the amazement of the surgeons.
Lexie rushes out of the OR and finds Shawn, telling him Johnny's
still in critical condition, but there's a heartbeat! Shawn gets
excited and rushes to find his mom to tell her.
John sees Hope on the pay phone and feels he can't keep his paternity
of the baby secret any longer (hey, she's on the phone bucko). She
tells him she can't talk as she's trying to reach Bo. John snarls
it's about the baby and criticizes Bo's not being there. John just
about tells her and Shawn rushes up exclaiming Johnny's alive. After
hugs are exchanged, John asks Shawn to get a status on Belle for him
and starts talking to Hope again. She interrupts, anxious to see
Johnny and explains Bo didn't know this was going to happen and will
be a good father to Johnny when he returns. John mumbles he better.
Hope can't stop hugging John and Marlena figures he must have told
Hope the truth when she and Roman approach.
Earlier, Marlena calls Roman (who's at home) asking for his help. No
more needs to be said, Roman's on his way. He must have gone code 3
(sirens) or transported there as he pops in minutes later. She tells
him about Johnny dying and about Belle. Belle needs Roman's help to
stop the person that hurt her (Brady). She also tells him there's a
situation between her and John that will become public soon and she
needs his help for Belle, not out of her spite or anger. She asks him
to get Brady off the streets and away from Belle, otherwise Belle
won't be safe. Roman offers to go find Brady and see what happened,
but Marlena wants more, she wants Brady locked up. Roman can't arrest
him without knowing what happened, but will help Marlena find a guard
for Belle. She thanks him, telling him what a nice guy he is. He
comments nice guys finish last and she apologizes for hat she did to
him. He shines it off, telling her he'll always be there for her.
They leave to go see how Hope and John are doing and Brady walks in
to see Belle. Brady apologies to Belle (who's in the induced coma
until her brain swelling goes down or until she finishes her part in
the movie filming in New Zealand) and leaves the teddy bear for her.
Brady rushes around the corner as Chloe and Philip go in to Belle's
room. He's curious about Chloe.
Marlena and Roman find Hope and John and hear that Johnny is alive.
John suggests he and Marlena go find Brady. He can tell Roman knows
about Brady and gets upset that Marlena said anything. They start to
argue and Roman reminds them where they are. John goes to see Belle
and Roman suggests Marlena get some rest. She leaves Hope and Roman
alone. Hope tells him they need to reach Bo and Roman calls Bo's
cellphone (gee, what a clever concept..why hasn't someone done that
before??). The phone rings under a dumpster outside in the ally. Jen
leaves quickly as Bo pulls himself out of the hole, telling him to go
home to his sick baby. Bo mutters the baby's been sick since he was
born and Hope's taking good care of him. He's there to get
information to help his family, but hears a noise outside as the
credits roll.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25,
2000**
1st Class for all from Italy to Salem, Hattie and Rolf have
close encounters with pastry (LOL) and tension rises between John and
Marlena.

On The Plane Leaving Italy........
Brandon, Sami & Angela are stowing luggage in the overheads, and
engage in a lot of pointless seat swapping - Brandon sits with Sami,
Angela changes with Sami, then with Brandon, then Brandon switches
with Sami. Angela & Sami discuss wedding plans, & Sami goes
to get a Bella mag from her coat (yes, we all carry a big mag in our
coat pockets). She bumps into Kate, who has just boarded with Victor
- seems the corporate jet is undergoing maintainance. (No wonder
Salemites get plane seats on a moment's notice - the huge plane is
nearly empty. Not even flight attendants. LOL) They exchange a few
unpleasantries, and Sami returns to her seat, where Brandon &
Angela are kissing up a storm, putting on a show for Kate &
Victor. Angela asks if this Kate is the same Kate Roberts as on the
tape. Victor leaves to make a phone call to his attorney. He explains
that Kate and Lucas have gotten into serious trouble and he wants to
save his own hide. Sami returns to dig at Kate some more, but leaves
when Victor comes back. Kate leans on his shoulder, murmuring how
safe she feels with him.
Back In Salem At The Mall.......
Rolf is discussing Hattie with Stefano on his cell phone. Hattie
comes jogging in, pausing at the Ballistics window to admire
clothing, and, upon spying a poster of Marlena, dispairs of ever
looking like her. She spies a pastry cart being set up, and
fantasizes eating a chocolate eclaire. Temptation gets the best of
her, and she buys the eclaire, a creme puff and strawberry tart, to
be downed with a double mocha cappuchino (which is already made and
sitting there?)! She perches on a stool at Java Cafe to devour her
treasures when Rolf stops her before she can take one bite, and
proceeds to scarf down all her goodies (and the mocha) right in front
of her. Wonderful dialogue here between the two, and Hattie's
expressions as he exclaims over the pastries are priceless. He
proceeds to give her a big pep talk, and invites her to a huge
non-fat banquet of a dinner, to prove you can eat well while watching
the calories. She is delighted to have a "date" and tells everyone
she sees, as she leaves the mall, that she actually has a DATE!!! (Ya
have to love her!!)
The Teen Scene.............
The school day begins and an exhausted Shawn gives good news about
Belle and Johnny to Philip and Chloe. Mimi has a fit that no one told
her, and stalks off. Shawn calms her down. Philip cannot understand
why Chloe did not tell Mimi already, but Chloe explains that it was
so late when they got home, Mimi was asleep & she thought she
would tell her in a.m. But with the morning rush, Mimi was gone
before Chloe could tell her. Chloe apologizes to Mimi, saying she
should have awoken her and told her last night. Mimi agrees and
storms off again.
At The Penthouse...........
Marlena is in bed and dreams about Brady and Belle on the balcony,
then seeing them on the roadside. She then dreams of meeting Hattie
in Salem Place and wakes up calling Samantha's name. John is on the
phone to the hospital getting updates on both the patients. Brady
walks in, John reams him out about events, and Brady not caring about
Belle. Brady is silent as he flashes back to talking with doc at
hospital, and putting the teddy bear in Belle's room. Up in their
room, Marlena overhears and calls Roman to tell him Brady is there.
She goes downstairs and gets into another argument with John. Roman
arrives and John is very angry, knowing Marlena did this. Brady comes
downstairs and says it looks like Roman is the prosecuting attorney,
Marlena the jury and John the judge....and he leaves. Roman tells
Marlena to call the doorman to stop Brady....but John prevents her
from doing so. Roman asks Doc if someone else should handle this, but
she says no....and he leaves. John puts on his jacket, grabs his keys
and tells Marlena "Hope you realize you could be throwing away our
future together", as he goes out the door. ........the credits
roll.

It's Belle's birthday and Victor and Lucas both have light
bulb moments.

Home Sweet Home
Victor listens to Kate whine about their predicament in the limo ride
home. He reminds her Lucas may blow it by telling Nicole. They
exchange barbs about all that will and might happen. They realize
they're worse off then before the trip and now Victor's worried about
Nicole as well. Victor tells Kate that Nicole's division was the most
profitable in the company last month. Victor gets a call from his
lawyer. He tells him it's not a good time to talk, but his lawyer
tells him he better make time or he'll be doing time. Victor can't be
specific with Kate listening in, but the lawyer explains Victor could
be an accomplice after the fact and could be prosecuted the same as
Kate and Lucas. Victor is able to reveal he's known for a while and
the lawyer is concerned about the situation. The lawyer suggests
Victor go to the authorities and turn Kate and Lucas in and testify
against them. Victor appears to agree. He hangs up telling Kate it
was his broker and apologizes for being harsh to her and is there for
her (yeah, right!,ha!)
Lucas sips some booze when Nicole struts up at whaps him hard in the
face. She tells him to never threaten her again and so he does,
promising she'll be dead if she opens her mouth about what he told
her about Franco. They argue about things as Lucas gulps the drink.
Nicole calls Roman, but Lucas hangs up her phone and she dares
momma's boy to go ahead and kill her. She's upset he came back empty
handed, not even a souvenir for her (LOL). He tells her he can't
divest himself of any funds right now and she figures Victor already
took away Lucas' money and he's not worth anything to her right now.
Her best interests might be to turn Kate and him in and score points
with the Brady's by helping Sami. Nicole reminds Lucas how Roman
would be on them if another dead body showed up in their house. He
offers her some $$ to shut her up. She agrees, but after Victor gets
home from Italy, she'll tell him everything. She promises to make big
trouble for Lucas as she has his future in her hands and if he
doesn't come through for her, will squeeze it (note the hand motion
accompanying that statement). DuhLucas finally figures out Nicole
never cared for him (about time, no?). Victor and Kate arrive home
and are greeted by Nicole. She literally hugs Victor and kisses him
right on the mouth and tells him welcome home baby. Kate and Lucas
share amusing glances to the kiss.
The Belle "A" Team - Happy 16th Birthday Belle!
Mimi and Chloe (what's with the black glasses again?) share a quiet
elevator ride up to see Marlena at the penthouse. They're both
anxious to help Belle and Marlena invites them him to hear the plan.
Marlena wants to include all Belle's friends and when she asks if Jan
and Jason should be included, both girls say NO WAY at the same time,
LOL. We don't hear the plan and they take off to join Philip and
Shawn at the hospital.
Shawn and Philip talk about Brady in the hospital cafeteria (Brady's
reading to Belle at the moment). Shawn wonders if he's using drugs
and Philip knows Brady's a jock and not into drugs. Shawn's concerned
about stopping Brady from hurting anyone else.
Brady remembers what happened with the train (replay for those who
missed it) and tells her she's going to be okay. Holding her hand, he
tells her that he's there for her, no matter what. After kissing her
hand, he continues reading (big hardbound book too!). A hand comes on
his should and Brady, figuring it's a doctor, tells him he'll leave.
Nope, it's John. He acknowledges reading and hearing Brady's voice is
good for Belle and when a nurse comes to take Belle's vitals, John
suggests they go get a cup of coffee. The nurse sees the bear Belle
is holding and puts it safely in a drawer (hello, leave her bear
alone!).
In the cafeteria, John asks Brady what happened last night. Brady
erupts, but tells John he didn't try to kill his sister. John makes a
sincere attempt to reach out to Brady by telling him he loves him and
will be there for him. Brady tells him their main problem is who
John's sleeping next to every night. Brady throws into John's face
that doc's the most important person in his life, he even heard John
say that. Brady remembers the good times when John tucked him in and
taught him how to play baseball. Since Marlena came into John's life
and convinced him to send him to boarding school though, things are
different. John again attempts to tell his son he's there for him
now, but Brady leaves telling John he'll make it easier for him and
just pretend he doesn't have a father. He knows he can't go home as
Marlena will have the cops staked out for him and calls someone on
the pay phone.
Later we see the 3 gals had decorated Belle's room with balloons and
crepe paper (and the nurse hid the bear, wait til she sees this,
haha) Shawn and Philip arrive and are blown away. Mimi gets upset as
Chloe suggests to Shawn that they write a song to sing to Belle. She
wonders if Belle might be hearing what they're saying and be jealous.
Mimi rants about Chloe and then apologizes to Marlena. Marlena
rationalizes they're all important to Belle and Mimi suggests they
sing happy birthday to Belle and Chloe being the best singer (sorry
Shawn and Philip) start. The birthday cake with the numbers 16 are
lit and after they all join hands and blow the candles out, Marlena
has to leave. Mimi cuts one piece too many and Chloe suggests being
Mimi is Belle's best friend, maybe she should have her cake and eat
it too. (meow) Outside in the hall, Marlena runs into John. She asks
about Johnny and learns he's stable. She asks if he saw Brady and
when he tells her he still doesn't know what happened, she tells him
she's calling Roman. John asks her not to do that and to give him
more time. She reminds him it's Belle's 16th birthday, but he's more
concerned about his sons and leaves.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27,

I give this one 3 stars for the flashbacks of Marlena and
Samantha (love those!). Plus Stefano returns, Jennifer is revealed
and the babies are Christened!

Stefano Returns!
Stefano comes home (says he was on vacation in Tokyo - I wondered
where he had been) to find Rolf dressed up in Japanese garb and
meditating (geesh, what a clown). He fills Stefano in on Belle and
Little Johnny. (Rolf tells him that Johnny joined the Heavenly
Chorus, but only for a couple of hymns and he made it through the
surgery). Stefano says that that baby can NOT die for he needs him to
get to John. Stefano questions him more about the baby's condition,
but Rolf doesn't have many answers. He orders him to find out more.
Later, Rolf returns, but Stefano still isn't satisfied with the lack
of information. He then inquires about the Hattie situation and blows
a gasket to find out that she hasn't had her surgery yet. Rolf tries
to explain that she hasn't lost enough weight. To which, Stefano has
the solution, "Lock her up and starve her dammit!" Rolf tells him
about his upcoming "date" with Hattie and prays that she won't have
him for dessert (LOL!).
Marlena Sees A Ghost - Hattie Sees Red
Meanwhile, Marlena meets up with Roman at the diner (she is NOT
impressed with his choice - LOL). Hattie shows up as well and yanks
Fay outside to talk. Marlena and Roman discuss Brady and she explains
that she needs to know what happened to have peace of mind. Roman
completely agrees with her side of the story and agrees to help her
out. He also senses trouble between her and John and assures her that
they will work it all out. Roman gets a call from the train engineer
who tells him about what happened that night. He tells him that it
looked like a boy was holding a girl down on the tracks but isn't
sure what was going on. Both Roman and Marlena are shocked at this
news. After he gets off the phone, Marlena asks him to put out an APB
on Brady, but Roman says that he needs proof that they were even
there. Outside, Hattie tells Fay about her "date" and asks to borrow
a dress (yea right like they are the same size - have you noticed how
THIN Fay is?). Hattie sees Marlena through the window and freaks out,
calling
her a witch. She is furious that she is invading "her territory".
Hattie drags Fay away from the window, but not before Marlena sees
her as well. Marlena gets this far away dazed look and launches into
flashbacks of her and Samantha (her twin). (These scenes are when
Samantha was preparing to take her place and send Marlena to the
sanitarium, for you long time viewers). Marlena snaps back and tells
Roman about seeing Hattie in the window, but when he looks, she is
gone. Roman assures her that Belle will recover and then all will be
fine. Outside, Hattie rants and raves about Dr. Marlena when she sees
her leave the diner with HER "Mr. Roman". Fay has to restrain her
from going after Marlena, Fay wonders whatsup with her acting so
jealous of Roman and Hattie asks her 'A girl can dream can't
she?'
Marlena and Roman head to the train tracks where the engineer told
them the kids were. They find a scrap of cloth from Belle's outfit
and Marlena is SURE that they were there. She tells Roman that if he
needs proof, she has the outfit Belle was wearing (at the hospital)
and will go and get it. She gets a call from a patient and must rush
to the hospital, but will have Cynthia (her assistant) bring it to
him. After she leaves, Roman and a detective continue to snoop around
and find a club-like stick and wonder if Brady may have hit Belle on
the head with it.
Jen Saves Bo's Hide
Jen and Ian (the pub owner) have a chat. He points out she isn't
using the accent and urges her to (the patrons expect it). She
questions him about Bo and says that he should be getting home. On
her break, they talk some more and Ian asks her about her husband.
She quickly changes the subject back around to Bo. Ian talks about
ìhimselfî (Shawn Brady) and how he was a hero. She
questions him about it further and Ian says something about it being
a classic story of good vs. evil. She proposes to Ian that Bo won't
cause trouble, but he is sure that Bo could cause some harm. He cuts
her off and refuses to talk about it anymore. Meanwhile, the two
goons, Wayne and Earl (oops, excuse me, Declan and Walter) go to
check on Bo and realize that he is gone. (He is hiding upstairs.)
They hear a noise and assume that it must be rats. They talk about
ìhimselfî and how he did so much good years ago. They
say that there is nothing to find at the factory and how it is doing
well, providing a living for so many of their friends/family. (Sorry,
but I didn't catch all of this). They talk about a secret entrance to
an underground warehouse and how the DiMeras wouldn't like it if Bo
Brady caused trouble. They return to the bar and tell Ian that Bo is
gone. He is upset and wants them to find him, but not hurt him, HE
will deal with him. But they have other ideas and tell each other
that they will kill him. Some other guy tells them that he knows
where Bo is. Jennifer overhears all this. Meanwhile, Bo escapes and
finds a pay phone. He tries to call Hope (at first he can't get
through, she has her phone turned off, but later he does - see
below). He gets off the phone to find Walter (?) holding a gun on
him. Someone whacks Walter over the head and
takes off. Bo chases her and whirls her around and says
"Jennifer"!!??
The Hospital
John and (just) Shawn talk at the hospital and he becomes agitated as
Shawn insinuates that Brady was the cause of Belle's condition. John
assures him that Brady would NEVER harm Belle and Shawn apologizes
for accusing him. John asks Shawn for any insight into Brady and
Shawn only says that Brady has the attitude that he is always in
competition and always has to win. Meanwhile, Hope is asleep in the
lobby and is joined by Lexie. Hope wakes up as a nervous wreck. Abe
shows up with Issac as Hope plays with him. She lets them know that
she is disappointed that Bo hasn't call and can't understand why.
They are joined by John and Shawn and Hope talks to Dr. Jackson. When
she returns, she and Shawn decide to visit with the baby. After they
come back, all assure her that Bo will be there in spirit for the
Christening. To which Hope replies ìLike Hell he willî.
Later the Christening proceeds and they Baptize the two babies in the
ICU. Later, the nurses have a cake and Shawn dubs Little Johnny J.T.
as his new nickname. As Hope goes to call the family for the party,
Bo calls her and she is very cold with him. Shawn talks to him, but
Hope stops him before he tells Bo about the baby's situation. She
cuts Bo off sharply and Shawn is disappointed in her attitude.
Dejected, he walks away. Hope goes back to the nursery, followed by
John. She thanks him for being there for her. As they stand looking
at the baby, John puts an arm around her, just as Marlena walks in
and sees them (their backs are to her). Hope rests her head on John's
shoulder as Marlena watches on and the credits roll.
