Vivian is leaning over Victor and freaking out because he won't respond to her. Henderson rushes in and then goes to call for an ambulance. Vivian says that she has killed him. Victor is rushed to emergency.
At Brady's Pub Kristen tells Bo and Hope she is pregnant. They congratulate her and discuss the possibility of having another child themselves one day. Lucas comes in and talks to Shawn, who tells him that Kristen is pregnant. Lucas comments that he would like to have that in his future and it would be with Carrie one day. Shawn says that if he is the man to make Carrie happy then it will be okay with him and Caroline. Lucas privately hopes that he will have his mothers support. He then goes and congratulates Kristen and John. Shawn toasts the parents-to-be. Caroline shows Kristen the Brady Christening gown and then takes her upstairs to see the rest of the baby clothes stored away.
Outside the pub Marlena defends her decision not to tell John that she loves him but Laura tells her it could be her last chance for happiness and to ask John if he does love her. Marlena goes to the pub window and looks at John and Kristen. When Kristen goes upstairs Marlena decides to talk to John but as she starts to tell him the phone rings and Shawn answers. He announces that Victor is in hospital and everyone rushes out.
At Austin's apartment Carrie and Sami are going through Wills' baby photos with Sami going on about looking like a family. They look at a photo of Lynn and Sami has a flashback to when Lyn commented on how Wendy and Jonah are going out and how Wendy must be drugging Jonah and how easy it is to drug someone and go to bed with them. Carrie asks who the girl is and Austin tells her it is Lyn. Austin announces dinner is ready and Sami says that if it is okay with Carrie she would like to make a go of it with Austin as Carrie is now with Lucas. The phone rings and it is Henderson and he tells Austin about Victor.
Kate and Jamie are at the park and Kate tried to convince Jamie to tell the truth about Sami but Jamie wants to be a good friend. Kate tells Jamie about the abuse she suffered from her first husband Curtis and sympathises with Jamie's abuse from her father. Jamie says that Sami stood by her and supported her but Kate tells her that that is no reason to cover up for Sami. Kate then tells her about nearly losing Victor to Vivian and how they are together because the truth came out and she can't do that to Austin and Carrie. Jamie asks Kate about Lucas' feelings for Carrie but Kate believes that Lucas would find a great girl. The phone rings but Kate won't answer it. The phone keeps ringing and finally she answers it. Austin tells her about Victor. Kate leaves and Lucas arrives. He offers to take Jamie home but she tells him that she can't live with the lies any more.
Lucas takes Jamie to Sami's. Austin and Carrie have gone to the hospital. Jamie tells Sami that she is going to come clean about everything but Sami throws it in her face about what a good friend she has been to Jamie. Will starts crying and Sami asks Jamie to check on him. Sami and Lucas discuss how they can keep Jamie quiet. Lucas begs Jamie not to tell anyone their secret and Jamie agrees. Sami then decides that she needs to be at the hospital and asks Jamie to baby-sit! Just after they leave Lyn arrives wanting to talk to Austin.
At the hospital Mike tells Vivian to pray for Victor and rushes off. Vivian goes to the Chapel and talks to Ivan about what happened and how awful she has been. She starts praying.
Kate arrives at the hospital and Mike tells her that Victor had a stroke and is critical. Austin and Carrie arrive and Kate blames herself for not being there. The Brady family arrive and offer their support. Mike comes out and says that Kate can see Victor for a few minutes.
Laura comments on how short life is and Kristen overhears and starts to talk to John and he asks her to marry him while Marlena looks on. John then announces his marriage to everyone. A devastated Marlena goes outside and John and Kristen leave. Lucas and Sami arrive and tell Austin that Jamie is with Will.
Kate is in with Victor thinking that the stroke is her fault. Mike comes in and she leaves. At the nurse's station Kate sees the news broadcast that Vivian gave regarding her custody of Philip. Henderson arrives and tells Kate that Victor knew what Vivian was going to do and is sure that is why Victor had his stroke.
Tuesday 7 May 1996

Vivian is still in the Chapel praying for Victor's recovery.
Henderson tells Kate about Victor going to the TV Station and confronting Vivian and then Victor coming home again and Vivian barging in and saying to Victor that she would drop the custody suit if he would marry her, but he refused her and said that he was going to marry Kate and then he collapsed. Kate is furious.
At the hospital Hope is consoling Bo about Victor and then Bo decides to be alone. Lucas, Sami, Carrie, Austin and Caroline are discussing Victor getting better and how much Kate loves him. Sami and Lucas go aside and reassure each other that Jamie will keep quiet and that the only person who could do them harm was Lyn and she is miles away.
Back at Sami's apartment, Lyn tells Jamie that Austin will be very interested in what she has to say about Sami. Jamie tries to get rid of Lyn but Lyn goes on about how great a life she had in Chicago but she got fired and has come back and has since found out all about Sami's schemes. Will starts to cry and Jamie goes to him. Lyn looks around at the photos and finds out everyone's current dating and living situation. She leaves but says she will be back.
Mike comes out and says that there are more tests to run on Victor and Lucas asks where Kate is. Mike allows Caroline to go and see Victor. Shawn talks privately to Carrie about Lucas and Austin and he tells her to talk to Austin about her true feelings for him.
Bo goes to the Chapel and Hope follows. He is remorseful about how he treated Victor and how hard it has been to accept that he is his father. Bo and Hope admit how much Victor has changed.
Vivian is at the Nurse's Station trying to get information on Victor when Kate confronts her about being responsible for Victor's condition. Vivian tries to talk her way out of it but Kate rips into her. Vivian tells her that she will take Victor away from her. Kate punches Vivian out.
Sami is doing a number on Austin about how worried she is about Kate and how she forgives Kate for the pressure that she put her under and how being a family is more important. Lucas comes in and says there is a problem with Kate. Everyone walks in on Kate and Vivian having a fight on the floor and Ivan and Henderson pushing each other. Eventually Lucas and Austin break them up. Mike comes in and is furious and tells everyone to leave except Kate but she must calm down.
Sami goes to Lucas and says she is sorry that she missed the fight and did he think that Kate could have taken out Vivian. Lucas is not impressed at the comment but she says that she doesn't want to think about Victor any more, which really annoys Lucas, but Sami goes on about how this situation has brought her and Austin together.
At the boat, Bo and Hope talk about Vivian trying to come between Kate and Victor. They then start talking about Jude and what he did to Hope - they make love. Afterwards Hope tries to talk Bo into letting her work with him on the Stefano case, he says no and goes to check the boat is closed up. The phone rings and it is Benny with information that he has traced calls to Stefano. Hope says she will see him tomorrow. Bo comes back and they make love again.
Vivian sneaks back in to Victor's room and apologises to him. Kate walks in and tells her to get out. Vivian kisses Victor and his heart rate starts to go up. Mike comes in and tells them to leave. Kate is worried that she will lose Victor. Mike comes out and talks to Kate and Vivian. He says to Vivian that if she really cares about Victor she will leave him alone. But Vivian has a plan and leaves.
Lucas and Carrie go to the Club and so do Austin and Sami. Lucas tells Carrie to face the fact that Austin and Sami are together now. Austin goes to the bar to get drinks and Lyn walks in. Sami asks Austin to dance. Lyn goes to the bar and orders a drink. Austin tells Sami that she is beginning to feel like family and she tells him that she loves him and asks him to kiss her, which he does. Carrie sees them. Sami gets a phone call from Jamie and she tells Sami that Austin had a visitor, Sami turns around and spies Lyn at the bar.
Wednesday 8 May 1996

At John and Kristen's house, they retire for the night but Marlena stays up and reads John's letter again and decides not to interfere with their relationship. Upstairs in their bedroom, John is worried about Victor. They eventually sleep and John is dreaming that the Woman in White is calling to him. Kristen wakes him and he tells her that he knows the Woman from before.
Laura comes to see Marlena and they discuss Marlena's love for John again. Marlena says she doesn't want to talk about it any more. They start talking about the Woman in White and her murdered children. Marlena says that she will do all she can to help her.
Peter and Jennifer are at the hospital wondering who the Woman really is. Peter is sure that there is a connection between them. Mike comes in and tells them to be patient and in time the Woman will remember who she is. Jack comes in and tells them that there is a connection and that he has been talking to the Parrot Man in Aremid. Peter gets angry but the Woman starts to stir and Mike tells them all to leave. When they leave the Woman wakes up. Peter and Jack start arguing outside her room and the Woman manages to slip away unseen. Mike comes and tells them to cool it and goes to check on the Woman. He comes out and says that she has gone.
Laura tells Marlena to tell John that she loves him and that she has read the letter. John comes in. He says that Kristen is upstairs asleep. Kristen is dreaming about John finding out the truth about the letter and John leaving her for Marlena. She wakes up and find John gone so she gets up. Downstairs John is telling Laura and Marlena bout the dream he had and that he saw the Woman in White at Maison Blanche and how she told him about Stefano murdering her children. John can't understand why she calls him Johnny. He wants to help her. He hugs Marlena and Kristen comes in. They all wonder why the Woman jumped off the pier and figure out that maybe she has remembered who she is and doesn't want anyone to know who she is. The phone rings and it is Mike telling them the Woman has disappeared.
Carrie is upset about seeing Austin kiss Sami. Lucas goes to see Sami and she tells him that Lyn is there at the bar. Lucas and Sami start arguing about why Lyn is back and to keep Lyn away from Austin. Lucas goes and talks to Lyn and finds out that she was fired. He takes her outside so they can talk. Sami follows.
Carrie goes to leave and bumps into Austin. Their song comes on and Carrie remembers them together. They just stare at each other.
Outside, Lyn is asking why she got fired but Lucas doesn't know and says he will get her her job back but she is not interested and says that she is going to tell everyone that Sami tricked Austin and got pregnant. Sami tries to tell her that it is not true. But Lyn says she knows that Sami drugged Austin and tells Lucas that he is just as bad - keeping Austin and Carrie apart. Sami tells Lyn to go ahead because she has no proof and no one will believe her. Lyn says that's fine but when she mentions the drug and the fact that Austin can't remember going to bed with Sami that the pieces will all fall together and everyone will believe her. Lucas tries to stop Lyn but she walks back into the club.
At the hospital, Laura comes in and asks Peter, Jennifer and Jack where the Woman has gone. Peter blames Jack and John, Kristen and Marlena walk in.
The Woman has gone up to the roof. She starts to climb over the rail but Jack finds her and grabs her before she can jump. Marlena and Laura take her back to her room. John ponders on why she tried to kill herself. He then goes to look in on Victor.
Kristen and Peter can't understand why the Woman in protecting Peter and not telling Jennifer about him knowing Jude. Mike comes in and tells them they can leave as the Woman is asleep. Peter says he will try to find out who the Woman in.
Laura and Marlena talk about the Woman's identity again and how sad it is that she seems to have given up hope. Laura tells Marlena about her not telling John but Marlena says that Kristen has been a very good friend to her and she can't hurt her.
Marlena and Laura bump into John and talk about the Woman. John volunteers to take the drug that the Woman took to see if he will remember who the Woman is.
Lyn goes into the club and talks to Austin and Carrie. Lucas and Sami panic but when Lyn walks over to them she says that she said nothing but they have 24 hours to come up with a good offer or she will blow them to pieces.
Thursday 9 May 1996

Wendy and Jonah are talking about him going in front of the Hospital Board. Jonah goes on about how important it was to be a doctor and he is scared to get his hopes up but Wendy reassures him that everything will be fine.
Celeste is telling Abe that she hasn't heard from Stefano and that she has no idea who the Woman in White is. Lexi comes in and Celeste asks her if it was true about Victor having a stroke. Lexi says yes and that today Jonah is having to attend the Board meeting to be re-admitted into the medical programme. Abe leaves but warns Celeste about Stefano. Celeste says to Lexi that she obviously hasn't told Abe that Stefano had sent her flowers and champagne and warned her to be careful about Stefano.
At work, Carrie is looking at photos of her and Austin and thinking about him kissing Sami. Lucas comes in and she tells him that it hurts her to see Austin and Sami together. They hug. Lucas goes on about the closeness of Will and Austin. Carrie thanks Lucas for being a good friend and promises that starting tonight there will be no holding back. She asks him out on a date and says she will make all the arrangements. She leaves to go to the hospital to see Victor.
Sami is dreaming that she is marrying Austin but Lyn comes in and destroys the wedding by telling everyone the truth. Austin wakes her up and tells her that she was dreaming about Lyn and begging Lyn not to tell. He asks what it was about. Sami says she was talking about a friend from school and how she was going to tell everyone that she is a tramp and that she didn't want everyone to know. Austin tells her that she is a good mother and is not a tramp. He goes to Will. Sami tries to figure out how to stop Lyn.
Abe comes back in to the office. Celeste asks them why the Board are reconsidering Jonah's case but Abe and Lexi don't know - they leave for the hospital.
Dr Edward Ross has a visitor from one of Stefano's men. He tells Dr Ross to make sure that Jonah gets back into medical school.
Austin tells Sami that he wants her to leave the apartment because they are now dating and he doesn't want to pressure her. Sami says that it's important for her to stay because of Will. Austin agrees and leaves to go to the hospital. Sami rings Lucas and tells him to hurry up and figure out a way to stop Lyn. They agree to meet at Salem Place.
Lyn sees Carrie in the corridor at Titan. Carrie comments on how weird it is to see her as she and Sami were just talking about her. She tells Carrie that she needs a job and doesn't want to go back to nursing and who should she see about getting a job at Titan. Carrie tells her to see Mrs Hayden who is the Personnel Director and then leaves. Lucas overhears them and tells Lyn that she promised him time but Lyn says she would enjoy exposing him and Sami - she walks off.
At the hospital the Board are asking Dr Ross why they are reviewing Jonah's case. Dr Ross says that Jonah deserves a second chance. Wendy, Jonah, Lexi and Abe come to the hospital. Jonah is called into the meeting. The others offer him their support. In the meeting, Jonah defends his decision to become a vigilante and helping the community but says that he has learned from his mistake and that he was wrong. He says that he wants to be a doctor so he can dedicate his life to helping people. He leaves the meeting. All of the doctor's bar one, are happy to re-admit Jonah. Dr Ross calls a recess.
Victor is still in a coma. Caroline offers Kate sympathy. Kate feels guilty about not being with Victor more. They talk about Carrie and Austin and how they should be together. Austin then arrives and Caroline says goodbye to Kate. Kate then talks to Austin about him sleeping with Sami and not being able to remember. She doesn't believe that he doesn't love Carrie any more. Austin tells her that he has moved on with his life. Carrie arrives and hugs Kate. A doctor tells Kate she can see Victor. Carrie and Austin talk about him dating Sami and Austin says that it's important for Will's sake to be with Sami - he goes to get some coffee.
Lucas and Sami are at Salem Place waiting for Lyn. They have come up with $10,000 to send Lyn away to Europe. Lyn arrives and when given the money, tells them it is not enough and that they had better come up with something better than that. Lucas says he will give her more but it can't be until July when he gets the money from his trust fund, but in the meantime she can go to Europe and wait. She refuses but Sami says that if Lyn tells anyone she will still have no money or job. Lyn leaves.
Lyn runs into Caroline and they talk about all the changes regarding Carrie and Austin. They also talk about Kate and Victor and how awful it has been for them.
Celeste is now with Jonah and everyone else. The committee come out of the boardroom and tell him they are having a recess. Celeste asks who one of the men is and Lexi tells her that it is Dr Edward Ross - he is familiar to her.
Stefano's man talks to Dr Ross and tells him that Stefano is not going to be happy if Jonah is turned down. Dr Ross tells him that he has done all he could. The man rings Stefano and is given instructions.
Celeste goes to see Dr Ross and talks to him about Stefano's involvement. Dr Ross denies it but Celeste doesn't believe him. He says that Jonah won't get in because of Dr Logan but Celeste says "What Stefano wants, Stefano gets".
Kate and Carrie are in Victor's room. Kate says how happy they would have been but because of Vivian she lost a whole year. She believes that she and Victor are meant to be together and she sympathises with Carrie's situation but Carrie is convinced that her relationship with Austin is over. Kate tries to convince Carrie that is was Sami, with Vivian's help, that broke her and Austin up. Kate says that if there was proof, would Carrie consider going back to Austin.
Stefano's man gives an envelope to Dr Logan and discusses his personal financial situation with him. He tells Dr Logan that Stefano wants Jonah re-admitted. Dr Logan goes back to the meeting.
The committee comes out and announce that Jonah has been re-admitted to the medical programme. Celeste talks to Dr Ross about Dr Logan changing his mind. Celeste wonders why Stefano did this - then realises that he did it for Lexi.
Lucas and Sami spot Lyn in a new outfit and ask her why she hasn't left for Europe already. Lyn tells them she wants more and is off to see Kate.

Austin walks in on Kate talking to Carrie about getting proof about Sami. He is angry at Kate and tells her to stop interfering and that they aren't going to get back together. Austin believes that Carrie is happy and has moved on with her life. Austin believes it is his fault and not Sami's and tells Kate to let it go. Carrie just observes.
Marlena and John are talking about him using the drug. He goes upstairs and Laura arrives. They discuss which drug they will use on John. Again Laura goes on about John's letter but Marlena says that his feelings towards her have changed.
Kristen brings the Woman to the lounge and John comes downstairs. They all welcome her. The Woman begs to be left alone and wants to leave. Marlena reassures her that she is safe but she won't trust them. Laura says they need to go ahead with John taking the drug to remember. Kristen is upset and wants to know why. John says he is doing it to help the Woman. The Woman becomes upset and doesn't want him to do it. Kristen leaves the room.
Jack is hounding Peter about the Woman and the fact that he has been lying all along. Jennifer comes in and has a go at Jack. The phone rings and it is Kristen. She tells Peter about John taking the drug to remember and that he should be there. Peter tells Jennifer and she says that's great. Jack suggests that they should go with Peter to finally find out the truth.
Lucas is really angry at Lyn for not leaving and threatening to see Kate but she just shrugs him off and goes. Sami is really worried about Lyn talking to Kate as she knows that Kate will believe Lyn and everything will be revealed and they will both lose. Sami then worries that Austin will take Will off her but Lucas doesn't believe it will happen. Sami spies a tabloid newspaper and has an idea about how to keep Lyn away from Kate.
Carrie and Austin talk about Kate and he apologises to Carrie. He blames himself for what happened with Sami and that he will talk to Kate and tell her to lay off.
Lyn arrives at the hospital and goes to the nurse's station to wait so someone can tell her what room Victor is in.
Sami and Lucas go and see Kate at the hospital. Kate doesn't want Victor disturbed and Lucas says that it won't happen. He says that because both Victor and Kate are well known people, the tabloids will probably start hounding them so he suggests they ring Victor's Security Agency and arrange for a 24 hour guard on the door to let no one through. Lucas says it was Sami's idea and Kate seems suspicious.
Kristen asks if the Woman is alright and John says no because he is going to take the drug. Kristen is worried about him taking the drug also and that she has a bad feeling about it. Jack, Jennifer and Peter arrive and John asks why they are there. Kristen says that she called Peter and that this will hopefully answer some questions. John says that's okay if they are there and they go upstairs.
Kate is on the phone to Titan, transferring some responsibilities to Lucas. Austin and Carrie return and Lucas tells them that Kate is going to stay with Victor until he gets better and there will be a guard on the door, 24 hours a day. Kate gets off the phone and comments that she will be able to keep Vivian away. A security guard arrives and Sami says she will handle the arrangements and leaves with the guard. Kate still seems suspicious. Sami is pleased because Lyn won't be able to get to Kate.
Lyn catches up with a nurse friend and finds out that Kate is with Victor, so she asks for the room number but the phone rings. When the nurse gets off the phone she tells Lyn that she can't give out the room number as Kate has requested complete privacy. The nurse leaves and Lyn looks up on the computer for Victor's room number and leaves.
Marlena and Laura have given the Woman a sedative and she seems to be sleeping. Laura goes on again about Marlena's feelings for John. They leave and go to John. Laura asks why Peter, Jennifer and Jack are there and John says that it is okay. John lays on the bed and Laura gives him the drug.
Sami and Lucas go to get a coffee. Sami arranged for Kate to be protected so Lyn won't get to her. They try to figure out how to get a lot of money to get rid of Lyn.
Kate is pleased she now can spend all her time with Victor. Carrie says that is was nice of Sami to suggest it but Kate is still sceptical and can't see what Sami has to gain from it.
Lyn tries to get in to see Kate but the guard won't let her in. Lyn is determined.
Sami and Lucas find out that Lyn has tried to see Kate. Lucas hopes that Victor will get better so Kate and Victor will go home and then Lyn won't get to see Kate. They go in to see Kate and she thanks Sami for the guard. Austin says that was sweet of her then Victor starts to come around.
The Woman is dreaming and begging John not to tell. She wakes and says she must stop Johnny and that it will ruin all their lives. She gets up and finds the door locked. She begs Johnny not to tell them because they wouldn't understand and the truth will destroy them.
Mike is talking to Victor but he falls unconscious again. Austin tells Kate to go home and rest but she won't. Mike suggests getting a private nurse to sit with Victor and Kate agrees but she wants someone she can trust. Mike leaves. Kate tells Victor she will take him home soon.
Mike goes to the nurse's station and sees Lyn. He asks her how she's doing and she tells him that she is back and lost her job. He offers her a private nursing job but she turns him down. He goes to the nursing station and asks to have a notice posted wanting a nurse for Victor. Lyn tells Mike that she has changed her mind and needs the money. Mike says she has to meet Kate first.
Laura asks John some questions. He talks about Maison Blanche and that a woman was imprisoned there. Laura asks who she is and what her name is and to tell them about her. He says she was a wonderful and beautiful woman but she needed help. Her husband and children were taken from her before he met her. It was Stefano who took them. John tried to help the Woman but Stefano caught him and imprisoned him. Laura asks for the Woman's name. He says it is Rachel Blake!
Peter and Kristen are stunned. Marlena asks them if they know her and Kristen says she is their mother.
